Bugs an bad support. This app was okay. The last 2 versions is not functioning properly. The app will not sync with my Health App. I have to delink the Health app, close the Discovery app and reopen and relink the Health evey time I want to sync. I have contacted Discovery twice about the issue. 1st time they responded that I must send screenshots of my health app and they will capture it for me!!!! Are they going to capture my data every day? 😂 2nd time I was given the ‘standard answer’ “how to link an app”. I have given up because support is useless! Lately I also get these ads which I cannot turn of or get rid of! When I close the add, it just pops back up!!! This could be a nice app, but Discovery messed it up!!

Mr. More attention needs to be aimed at improving the Vitality app especially when uploading. Very very slow and need to do it several times manually. Why can’t it be done automatically like other apps. When you try and try and give up, you lost the valuable points

Your app is pathetic. When I login the stupid app it tells me the password is wrong and then leaves me on a blank page which I can’t move from. I am so sick of Discovery, and guaranteed this message goes to a stupid robot. Get your acts together you poor customer handling people

IPhone no longer i updates Vitality points events. Since doing the upgrade, points events are no longer syncing with heart app & iWatch.

Good but. Generally a good and helpful app. Touch ID works only off and on and somewhat confusing menu.

Bland. What a nonsense app. It is clearly just built for the sake of putting an app out there and it adds zero value. The insure features are nonexistent other than the "market first claims process". You cannot even use the app to earn DQ points by doing an annual review or a quarterly quizz. The latter also don't work on the website with an ipad so good luck if you are trying to do this without a pc, it is not possible. In addition to these issues the app is littered with errors that simply displays a page not found error. How can you expect intelligent customers to take you seriously with such an app?

Make a button!. The app needs to have an easier way to submit vitality points and not refer you to the website.

Forced linking. I don’t want to link my device to the app. I only want to use the App to log my fitness events but that option is not available.

Well done Discovery!. Excellent app. All Discovery product information at my fingertips in an easily accessible, well formatted and pretty manner. You hiring any more iOS developers soon? 😉

Spam Notifications. This app sends marketing spam notifications once a week without the ability to opt out. Disabling notifications degrades the legitimate functionality of the app. Unfortunately Apple doesn’t allow you to report specific notifications for spam. Please stop doing this or give me a way to opt out! Also, the app support link takes you to a page where you can’t request support, only get quotes for more Discovery products!

Review. Preferred the app how it was, the new interface is not as user friendly! The devices are not syncing as often and it is difficult to find the syncing options. Wish I didn’t have to see the rings for car insurance ect as it is not applicable to me and makes the interface look busy and confusing

Confusing. The app and website don’t answer questions about the vitality points system very well like they say I get 24% cash back on healthy eating but don’t say what I need to do in order to increase that % . That’s just 1 example It’s mostly the fault of the vitality rewards system being so complicated!!

App is buggy. Doesn’t allow me to activate active rewards- keeps saying that an error occurred when trying to load page.

Unreliable. When it works it is great, half the time there are issues

Cant log in or connect my device since update. On iOs13. Since the latest update, the app did not load any data, I deleted the app and reinstalled, upon load I cant log in to my discovery app anymore, whenever I select log in, the interface triggers the “Forgot password” link and I get redirected, the keyboard also shifts out of the screen which makes it very difficult to access, I luckily had keychain activated or I would not be able to enter my details at all. As a result of the failure to log in, I can not connect my fitness device either. Please assist or update the app as soon as possible.

Pathetic. Your app is not useable. Improve on your UX and UI. It never works when I need to access my Vitality account. It just hangs and doesn’t fetch any data. I’d rate this a -1 if it had that option. Please get better devs than Entellect

Poor Developers. The app has too many floors and backend bugs. I’ve logged two calls with Vitality and a a month later they are still not resolved. Discovery, probably, you need to change your developers. The app is tainting your image. I shudder to think of the experience with your banking app!???

Can’t login. I love this technology it claims I’m already registered but then says I’m not registered based on ID

Sometimes hard to navigate. At times it’s difficult to navigate the app. Main items are only found a few levels down.

Disgusting. There is no low this company wont sink to. Watch carefully as premiums are increased way above inflation, rewards reduced by 10x. Discovery also has zero understanding of digital security. The fact that they even try to run a bank is incomprehensible. Speaking of their bank- go check out all the hidden and grossly excessive charges.

Ui improvemnt. Needs UI improvement

Virgin BROADACRES. It is a super clean gym and the staff and members are very friendly. Staff are extremely helpful under trying circumstances through lack of funding which is understandable because of the effects of Covid that has hurt Virgin

Unhappy client. There are way too many mishaps and errors like workouts not being calculated and now my status not shown correctly. I’m on diamond but the app and website have me as a gold member from last Saturday

App. App is not user friendly . Discovery needs to re design the whole app ….

Mrs. I really enjoying tracking my steps and now my driving - certainly makes me more aware. Having to wait a day or 2 for updates is a bit frustrating but good overall .

Buggy App Poor Experience. This app tries to be much more than it really is. Very very slow to start, with frequent startup crashes. Slow and clunky to use with very poor navigation. Behind the scenes Discovery keeps on changing the exercise points awarded for certain levels of family accomplishments without any notification or explanation. This could be so much better.

User Experience. Finding things that I am looking for is not easy. The user experience can be improved greatly.

I have to log in AND use FaceID? WUT?. Every time I open the app I am prompted to log in…then it asks if I want to use FaceID—which of course I do, so I say yes…and then I repeat this process when I open the app again later. SRSLY????

Too slow and too big. Everytime I update your app I hope for the speed to be improved - but now it’s slower and more bugs/ can’t load some screens , the points don’t update correctly. When will you actually make an improvement on this app? Shocking for such a big company. I hate how slow your app is.

Unable to log in. Even with a reset password the app won’t let you log in

Mr. Same problem here . No issue with synchronizing before, now it fails all the time. Also get the error with login . Wish i had never updated the app in the first place.

Advertising. Since the recent major update, a number of advertisements are showing on various screens. Though I appreciate the free nature of App, the services we use are paid for. At least offer the option to close such adds (which is not possible now as they immediately reappear) and then stay closed.

Adds another dimension to your daily routine and wellbeing. AddsThe website’s ability to interact and/or captureAdds data is below par and does not instill confidence.

Frustrating. The app is not stable and effective for completing any of the mental health or vitality health checks. It is deeply frustrating trying to complete these long questionnaires while the app crashes or doesn’t save the results etc. The same is true if you try to do these questionnaires via the discovery website. The pages simply don’t save or reload properly. Truly a waste of valuable time, that actually serves to raise one’s level of stress and irritation, instead of the opposite.

Devices and apps. Unable to restore Apple Watch on vitality app.

Absolutely useless and slow. The app is extremely slow, pages timeout from taking so long to load. The active rewards section is extremely messed up. Doesn't sync properly and rewards are reflected correctly. Points are shown in the vitality section but not in the active rewards section. Whoever discovery dis using for their regression testing should be fired since it is not being done properly at all. Active rewards rules change whenever discovery wants without any warning. Basically discovery is behaving like a losing child, whenever they start losing they change the rules.

Pathetic. The most pathetic and useless app when you need it. Takes forever and a decade to load, and majority of the times that you are in a shop and want to get a voucher, it just refuses to login even. Absolutely disgusted with it!!

App Navigation. The app is tedious to navigate and just not intuitive enough.

Time to load. The app is very useful but it takes longer to load than in the past. iPhone 8 with 64 GB.

Terrible. Terrible app! So slow, the rewards system is often not working so I can’t redeem my rewards, interface not intuitive. Needs a lot of work!

Awesome. Definitely worth 5 stars and definitely one of the better Apps. So much information in your pocket!! Now i dont have to log onto my computer everytime to get the info i need...thanks so much!!!!

Reduced functionality on iPad. Unable to see goal or active rewards on iPad app. Every time for ever and ever, when you login it says : ‘unable to load active rewards, please try again’. This works on iPhone so why the heck not on iPad ??

Discovery-Vitality-App. Honestly very happy with this Medical aid, Vitality and the App it self. The App is fast and easy, loads of extra info and it really motivates you health wise. Great App!!

Stability. Too many updates but still unreliable

Very bad app. I never write reviews but the developers of this app have done a shockingly bad job. Syncing with the health app is a nightmare!! With every sync you have to delink the health app close the app, relaunch and relink just to get your workout to sync. This was never a problem before and Discovery has no intention of fixing this issue, have complained numerous times. Functionality poor. Can’t Log in using finger ID even though it has been set up. Continually asks me to re enter password. The my pregnancy profile keeps on crashing and I can’t edit the information. Even though I provided correct information my due date is now completely incorrect. When I want to edit it the app says that changes can’t be effected. Very frustrating app.

Latest update. The App is now a disaster since updating yesterday. It does not work! Please fix ASAP

App is crashing. Hi there This is usually a 5 star experience but since the last update. It continually crashes during login. It's also no longer receiving workouts that are saved in the iPhone Please fix. I love this app it's been a key motivator that's allowed me to model internationally and represent South Africa.

Best health app for the best wellness company. Great to be able to link iPhone health data. Long overdue. Works effectively and efficiently on tracking all aspects of Discovery product range

Unstable As ever. App crashes randomly when signing in and out and my points events tab has not updated with any recent workouts since the update. This means that I cannot see workouts from my polar device as not yet awarded and must instead wait for them to appear in the activity history section. Also it means that if I have done more than one activity, only the highest earning activity is tracked under activity history. I use browse the app daily and it's really not great at the moment Please fix asap

Not working since last update. Vitality health rewards is broken - can’t see points screen or synch with app screen - please fix

Bad marketing.. Vitality open is a way to display the benefit of vitality to potential investors. However the app is terrible and filled with flaws and bugs. Terrible marketing on discovery’s side.

Does not read my activities!. Ever since I changed my health plan, the data from my Fitbit and Health app have not been reading. I have received 0 Vitality points in the last few weeks because it keeps having an error loading my activity points and has no section to easily contact Discovery about it. It just keeps saying try again.

Gus. crashes after login! In fact, sometime it doesn't login even. and just returns to Home menu on Ipod touch. Not happy at all!!!

New user interface (again). After 38 years of big corporate IT experience in applications development, I must say that the recent revamp of the UI is disastrous. It’s overly complicated/messy.

Software issue. The discovery app is useless, my login credentials work On the website but the app is permanently offline or has an error and tells you that your log in has failed. How are you suppose to reach your weekly goals with a app that doesn't work.

No longer working. This used to be a great app, now you get redirected to new login which is almost always problematic.

Passbook Crash. Everything is great except every time I try to add my membership card from passes to Passbook, the app crashes. Disappointing.

Pending fixes. 1 star for now, as the app stopped working again today. 999 error when trying to access devices to sync.

Simple, straightforward. Really nice app. Only 4 stars because it says iPad compatible when it's not designed iPad... I eagerly await a fully iPad compatible update.

Does not sync. The app is really slow and does not sync up with the Apple Watch. I never know when and if I've reached my goal. Using the Fitbit was a lot better. Please fix the app, it's so frustrating!

Completely broken. The latest update with iPhone X support is a disaster. Nothing works, can't check Vitality progress, no content loads. Please fix

Life Simplified. Exactly what I needed on the go. Especially great for keeping track of Discovery card. Vitality number always at hand now. Crisp, clear and responsive app. Well done!

DOESN’T WORK. I’m not giving this app a star until someone get it to work. Since the last two updates, syncing activities is just impossible. Or maybe it’s rather a problem with iPhone X since this app is not optimized yet?

Points not being calculated. This app is very slow to start of with. The points are not being calculated and added to the Vitality status as well as to the vitality active rewards It doesn’t even calculate the points when u sign in and out or even when you refresh the page

Doesn’t work!. The Vitality Open is a complete waste of time. No follow up with queries emailed in despite the reply saying contact will be made within ‘48 hours’! Three weeks later and several emails later, still waiting!

no products. This 3.5.0 update has a number of bugs. Doesnt display my vitality profile and products and doesnt remember me even though the "remember me" option is selected. I have to keep logging in. Unfortunately, when i do log in, it shows me nothing.

Passbook T & C's not working. Getting error when trying to accept terms and conditions for passbook feature.

Won’t let me log in. When I open the app, it asks me to log in but the on screen keyboard that the app brings up is too far to the right and I can only see the first 3 letters on the keyboard. The actual phone keyboard does not come up so I literally can no longer log in to the app🤬🙄

Login. I would have though this version will support faceid login? When can we get that please??

Impossible. I have been using the app and all of a sudden i cannot log in! It keeps telling me that i don't have connection, which is nonsense! Fix this please.

Reward Can't Redeem. After installing the latest app, I now can't redeem my Vitality Active Reward, I select & confirm my choice but receive a failure error everytime.

Buggy since last Update. Also gets the passbook error. App miss some of my fitbit workouts + delays in updates! Frustration of note. Fire your developer!!

I health linking error. When selecting the application and devices and logging into ihealth, an error appears. Not possible to link it.

Slow, laggy and unreliable. The only thing about this app you can count on is that it WON'T work consistently. Often is just down, gives errors, won't load any data, doesn't reflect points. Scrap it and start over.

Date in app incorrect. Under Devices and Apps, my Fitbit app is listed, however no points are being collected, and the year in the date displayed is incorrect, currently shows 2016 (it's currently Dec 2015). My phone settings are correct..

Great ... when it works. When it works (roughly 50% of the time you need it), this app is perfectly fine. It contains all your info and let’s you know what you need to know. However, it is, overall, slow and buggy and very unreliable. A great frustration half the time, perfectly fine the other half.

App crashes. App repeatedly crashes when trying to open it. Tried deleting and reloading yet nothing works. When it does work it is amazing and easy but that has been very few times in the last 3 months.

Good summary of Products. A very nice summary of products with some cool functionality. But I am having auto rotation issues and Discovery blames it on my iPad settings, which is pretty much the default settings.

Device sync never works!. Devices and apps from function never works! How can I claim my rewards if I can never sync! Having a apple watch means you pay if you don't make your goal!

Problem syncing from health app to discovery vitality. Hi. Since 9 May, the health app stopped syncing the number of steps taken to Vitality. This is a major problem that needs to be fixed.

CANT CLAIM ACTIVE REWARD. Every time I try to download my reward there is an error and then the link for downloading to passbook disappears. No longer tracking Fitbit activities. Don't download absolutely shoddy application that does not deserve to be on the AppStore.

Hassle free. I find this app very easy to use. As a spouse, I’d like for the balance of the medical aid plan to be brought back though. Why did this get removed?

Crashing. Current version very unstable and constantly crashing. Data uploads from partner devices takes exceptionally long and sometimes seems not to upload at all. Current version is not great. Also please look at the 3rd party devices as the approval/verification process seems extensive. Rather frustrating.

What's happened here. Since the last two weeks the app is crashing and it is not syncing with the health app, I have lost out in discovery rewards and now have to pay for my watch and gym, unacceptable! This is not my problem!

Works fine if you love typing your password every 5 minites. Still no TouchID support, and asking for account password every couple of screens. Terrible.
