Terrible. The whole point is so you can download the paper. Sometimes it don’t even come through till later in the day. Not good enough.

Failed for 6 days to Deliver Paper. Was a customer for 7 years until they continually failed to deliver the daily edition in April 2021. After 6 days, I cancelled the subscription, requested a refund through Apple (which was given) and subscribed to the News LTD app for half the price. They had one job....and failed miserably.

Worst app ever. This is and always has been the worst app in the App Store, it consistently does not work and has never worked well, it is obvious reading the reviews that anybody that has given this app any more than 1 star or has anything remotely good to say about it probably works for the daily telegraph, don't waste your money, go and buy the paper at least then you will receive it, the help desk is pathetic too, quite a shame given it's a good paper

Could be better. I was a subscriber to the old app and this new one is supposed to be improved, but it's not much better. Even though I have selected the option to automatically download each day's paper it never does, and I have to go in and download it. Usually this takes a couple of attempts as it fails frequently. Last Sunday there was no TV Guide to download but there was one in the paper my sister bought at the newsagent. The No Body and Soul either. The weekend crosswords and puzzles are not available interactively either only one crossword available for the week day editions. All the puzzles should be available. It can't be that hard? They also tried to take money from my account even though my subscription is not due for renewal yet. I will be cancelling at the end of the $1 trial. Suggest u use Press Reader app instead. Much more reliable.

Cannot download with ipad2. Like most people here I would like to add my frustration with this paper. I have now finally worked out that I can download on iPad1 and iPad 3. iPad 2however still won't work. Have been asked to verify my subscription on numerous occasions but with no result or useful feedback. I think it's time we were given a free period of let's say 2 months, seeing that I have not been able to read this paper for this time and now have had revert to my old iPad just for the paper. Not happy!!!

Ask for help. I like many others had a problem with the downloading of the paper, however I used the apps feedback option and the support could not have been better. Very happy with app

Telegraph review. This app is very dissapointing it has NEVER allowed the auto download feature to work more than a day or two before ceasing to function & when you report it they tell you to delete the app & try again , it lasts a day or two & then same problem. Also the app uses far to much storage space and requires deleting regularly despite requesting to delete all downloads after one week !i have been reading the Tele for almost 50 years so I would expect better

Useless just wants to sell a subscription on I store. With 11.3 this is just an add for a subscription. I already have a subscription and could log in before the upgrade to iOS 11.3. I would rate this zero stars if I could

My Paper is not being delivered - Hopeless Support. I have been a subscriber for +10years. My last monthly subscription was paid 2nd April but for some unknown reason paper delivery ceased 15th April. I have deleted and reinstalled the app without success. I have made contact with both Apple Itunesstore support and the developer of the App multiple times. Both blame each other and no one accepts responsibility to resolve my issue. I’m done. I’m cancelling my subscription.

Suddenly supplementary issues cannot be downloaded.. This is going backwards. I won't renew subscription anymore.

Poor delivery. Generally happy with the display of the newspaper but the delivery is a real issue. Nothing better than staying in bed to read the newspaper on a Sunday morning. It is nearly midday and still cannot get the paper. If the news is going to be late why should I keep paying for this!!!!

No Sunday paper again. For the second week in a row, no Sunday Telegraph. About to ask them why but wont hold my breath as no response from last weeks email.

E-paper not uploading. Last paper received was 14thapril. Subscribed until the end of may

Shocking. What ever happened to the service I have had this for years and loved reading the news paper. Since the 300 percent increase in fees. I have now got a newspaper that just shows pretty pictures and nothing more also another one that says download and nothing happens. I love the telegraph but hate being ripped off. My husband has the herald looks like I will have to change cheaper and available although I am not a fan of the herald I can see no other alternative than using it.

No new papers. Like a number of other people, no new papers since the 14th April. Rang the Telegraph tech support, they blamed Apple. Contacted Apple, they blamed the Telegraph. Have cancelled my subscription and waiting on a refund. Unable to leave a zero star review.

Very upset. This app does not work as promised , papers are late or don't come at all , you message them via there feed back and get a response some 3 days later if lucky , Have sent many emails to them , but they not fixing the problems as app is still poor Sunday paper delivered in Sunday night ? . Constant crashing , having to uninstall and reinstall app just to get what you pay for , have persisted with this app from it release , but when my subscription is up will not any more

Finally, paper to digital done right. This is a huge improvement on the existing app. This IS the paper in electronic form in full. Nope it isn't perfect but this is one of the best that I have seen so far. It is easy to read and embraces social sharing. Easy to skip to sections and find what your looking for or not interested in. Read the comics and scan the classifieds. Exactly what I was looking for in a newspaper app. This is evolution and done in a way that is accepting of the fact that the hardcopy won't be round forever. Well done. If I had gripes it would be: papers not organized chronologically and it would be great to have a download automagically option so it was waiting when I got up in the morning. The also seems to be some relationship between the old app and this one in relation to subscriptions etc. This app asks for a password and I have no idea where that comes from. This needs to be clearer. Brilliant marketing in that for a few months subscription is free. Nice work :)

The Daily and The Sunday Telegraph Newspaper Edition for iPad. This print style version is much better than the other app that was available. You get the whole paper including ads to read. I had stopped using the other version because I felt not all the news was being presented.

Bad. Same trouble as everyone else but it seems the app is device specific in other words if you bought a new ipad the subscription wont transfer there is nothing wrong with this policy if they told you its for one device but its stupid if you are in a household of 4 ipads and 4 iphones like myself and then have to buy 8 app subscriptions i dont think so (my advice is cancel your subscription dont forget it will renew by itself) and move on. Very unhappy

Updated app keeps requesting password. Since updating the app every time I open it it keeps asking for my password even though I can still keep downloading additions This printing needs to be removed

finally what Ive wanted from an online newspaper. Finally a copy of the print version. Some of us actually like to read the ads and want to feel like its a real newspaper not some edited version with stuff missing. I have been waiting for an app like this so now i can finally use my iPad as a digital newspaper. Good on you Daily Telegraph for providing what people want. Id actually pay for this once the free trial ends. Well done !.

Broken again. Ever since the cost increased this App has deteriorated significantly. Losing patience quickly, as Problems always seem to happen on weekends, when there are no IT techs available to fix it it. VERY POOR FORM TELEGRAPH.😱😡

If you have problems with this app, open the app, go to settings and click on 'send us feedback', they will be able to fix it for you if you have paid and it's not downloading, I have been getting this for months without a hitch, but had the same problem with paying for it and it not downloading, a simple email sent this way has fixed the problem for me!

Unable to download newspaper after paying-not happy Jan!. Most disappointing to find the large number of poor reviews to be true. I had one day of free downloading of newspapers and the content was very good, just like the paper you would buy at the newsagency, I paid for one months subscription and then I couldnt download the next days paper. I emailed my problem and received an email telling me uninstall, delete, log out and in, did all three in various combinations but no luck. I have now sent a second email asking my money back, but thought I should post before waiting for an outcome. Not sure what the issue is but it seems like a bug in the subscription process.... Let's hope I get my money back! Good luck to you if you go ahead and subscribe.

No paper. Sick of finding no paper there you pay for it a digital file shouldn't be hard to upload its not being printed tech support doesn't help just say they don't have paper who has the guy on street selling the hardcopy????? Paying for frustration at moment

App rip off. Worked fine in trial once paid subscription unable to download paper app is total rip off -simo This app is great for Monday to Saturday but having a lot of trouble every Sunday to get the paper yesterday could not get it at But still paying for it. Simo

Subscription no longer works app no longer works. I have just cancelled my subscription. No new issues have been available on the app since 15 April 2021. App offers no way of login to your subscription.

Auto download doesn't work. You can only download the relevant edition on the day despite the auto delivery function being checked. Sometimes, even that doesn't work on the day

E-paper has stopped working. Same problem as the last two reviews- stopped working on the 15th of April. No support at all! I’ve tried everything.

Luv it. We have always had home delivery of this newspaper but now we have the app it is great, much better than the paper version. There have been some technical issues but they have been very helpful in fixing them once emailed via the app 'settings send feedback' feature. It was also fantastic receiving the paper when on holiday abroad, rather than having all the old problems of suspending delivery at the news agent then having someone collect all the incorrectly delivered papers!

Not Free???. The first day I received in the "store" 3 daily newspapers and 3 Sunday newspapers, which I downloaded okay. The second day there was nothing added to my store. Even after joining, no papers were added to my store. Only a message about subscription. But there's no mention of a subscription written on the iTunes site and even if I wanted to pay there's nothing in the App to do this. Weird!

Frustrated. Unable to download the issue 31 st dec . Still no issue 1st jan , what the point in paying for nothing

App not opening. Since updating to IOS15 the app opens and closes straight away. Tried turning ipad off and back on and deleting and reinstalling. 25 bucks a month I want my money back

0 stars. Does not work.... Like very one else here, I have been a long term subscriber. A few weeks ago the paper just stopped downloading. Both News Ltd and Apple are saying that each other are to blame......use a different media outlet. They owe me a refund.

Garbage!. Takes too long to download, interface very clunky, auto delivery doesn’t work, the app just decided one day to begin a restore purchase loop that wouldn’t stop. Would prefer to battle Sydney every morning traffic to buy a real paper instead of wasting time with this rubbish application.

Great Newspaper App. I downloaded this app not sure what to expect but I am enormously pleased. The app is excellent. The newspaper is easy to read on the iPad and the app is easy to navigate. It feels like you really are reading The Daily Telegraph. I was so impressed that I have subscribed to the newspaper.

Hurry and fix it. The app just stopped working. No new editions since 14 April. No communications to say why. Very annoying when you have paid for a subscription

Brilliant.. I am very happy they have bought out the full edition. I love the iPad version but still had the Sunday edition delivered as I felt I wasn't getting all the news. A wonderful addition. Just found the sound icon attached to the stories where it actually reads to you. How amazing for people with limited eyesight and language skills.. A brilliant addition..

Best App for The Daily Telegraph. Can go directly to a page or section by quickly scrolling through pages down bottom of screen. Definitely best app for reading the Daily Telegraph. Just a little slower loading.

Sunday paper. Can not receive Sunday paper anymore please fix,paying a enough money for this service.

Excellent job. Enjoying reading the Telegraph especially when I am in hospital for a week, it keeps me entertained and in touch with the outside world. Well done guys.

E-paper stopped working 15th of April. I have been a e-subscriber since the day they started( 13 years I think) and have been a happy reader. On the the 15th of April it stopped allowing issue downloads and despite numerous attempts to fix it( upgrades, reinstalling app etc) it just does not work. For six days I tried apple support and the telegraph support help lines and both keep passing the buck to the other and are unwilling to help. I have been left with no choice but to cancel my subscription and will now change to a new paper. Over 40 years of reading this paper will come to an end.

I give up!. I have truly tried very hard to like this App for approximately 12 months, but unfortunately it is complete rubbish and a complete waste of money. It is very unreliable - newspaper will not load regularly, despite following all the instruction from the developer, if it loads, pages disappear before your eyes, it freezes, I sometimes don't successfully get my paper until the evening and just to add to my increasing frustration the App often crashes. So now all that is left is to cancel my subscription. Don't bother with this App.

Won’t download paper. It’s been 4 days and have not been able to down load the news paper, yet subscription is up to date. Just a joke Rob

Issue with subscription. Seems the suppliers had an issue with the press arrangements for this paper and supply stopped mid April with no notice. When contacting them they explained the issue but gave no details of a resolve or refund of payments made for the full month of April...no idea if the content will return or not....no one seems to know...☹️

Update Now Stable; SmartFlow Doubtful.. I really enjoy reading TDT and it's part of my daily routine. The latest update has now 'stabilised' and the paper downloads on time and the pages show clearly upon 'turning'. The download speed is a bit slow; but once downloaded the experience is very pleasant. The 'duplication' of some pages, usually in the middle of the newspaper, is still there (a bug) but one soon gets used to it and simply swipes the duplicate pages quickly. To get rid of the headings 'blue boxes', you still need to click somewhere on the page and wait 3-5 seconds for the boxes to disappear. Same time lag when you click to get the upper menu so you can return to the library list. Better performance of this behaviour is desired. I am still to appreciate the latest update SmartFlow; it looks 'fancy' but once tried, one goes to the classic layout, which is straightforward newspaper layout. However, it is a nice to have feature.

Buggy as hell!. Since the last update this app now crashes every time I try to read an edition. I counted 72 crashes in a single session, and amounts to more than a crash per page. Was ANY testing performed before it was released!?!? Not good enough please release an update to fix soon, or else I'll cancel my subscription and go old school. Not good enough for a media company to have something in the market that is totally unusable...I can't even get beyond the first page of this mornings edition! My recommendation is for people to not download this app until the developers release a patch pronto...you'll end up being frustrated at the number of times you try to read the epaper only to have it crash on you. #superfail!
