Great but I have a complaint... So everything about this app is amazing but theres one thing about the online gallery.. Oh also my user in the online gallery is "cheese nugget" check out my art but um I made a art work called "sleep collab" and it was basically a picture of character bases sleeping and people would have to draw there OCs over the base to add there OCs to it and people would download yhe image and collab with the person who made the collab and I did one where there was character bases sleeping I added my OC to one of the bases and posted it and a few days later ibs paint removed the image for no reason is said it was a violation but how is characters sleeping a violation? What I posted was innocent yet it got removed because it was a "violation" I spent a long time making it too! So of course I was upset when it was removed so um yea thats all the app is great amazing tools better then any other drawing app and I recommend the online gallery on ibs paint of ur bored it's like social media it's very fun to me you can even post comic which I'm working on one called "the abandoned" so if you so happen to see this review I recommend you check it out that's all!! Incredible!! ♡♡. To start it off I got this app in 2020 its so cool and it makes me enjoy art I love digital drawing but this is a whole different level might I say! I literally never get lags and if you dont buy app-purchases then in Ibis Paint there's barely any adds If you dont buy it! there's lots of features like filter٫bucket٫you can use and you can look at peoples art its filled a with amazing artists I never get bored you can zoom in and there's lots and lots more but you can make your pencil or paintbrush ( Or whatever) and make it thicker and thinner and when I talked about features literally features that no digital art app has except for Ibis Paint I recommend for both starters and pros anytime you started is fine it got me motivated to draw because I usually didn't do that in til I downloaded Ibis Paint but heres the PROBLEM PART so please reach out to me so first of all im not a intense drawer so idk if I didnt uncover all the features like I say again but can you get a ruler feature idk if you have that yet and if you get out of the drawing like to your gallery there's a redo button if you like scribbled on you drawing but if its scribbled and you get out it doesn't allow you to get out so please fix that please reach out to me because I'm a comic drawer and do other stuff

I mean wow. I’ve used many.. many.. apps. This one is just superior BECAUSE MAN, unlocking all those brushes for 18 hours just for an ad? Excellent option. No forced paywall, you can just watch some ads for the features if you don’t have money. And the default ads are few and far between. I can’t praise this enough, unlocking so many cool brushes for free is so top tier gahhh. That aside, if you have money for premiums and free option doesn’t matter to you.. Super easy ui once you get the hang of it. Never have to go down rabbit trails of clicking to access the page for what you need. I used this app without the features like folders, clipping, lassoing, blurring smudging etc for so long, just because I didn’t even really think I needed them- which you really kinda don’t NEED them, the apps bare basics are so good standalone but all those other (free! even without watching an ad these features are free,,,) features make everything sooo streamlined and allow a higher level of professional drawing skills. Only critique I guess is it can crash on mobile if you make a drawing too big, or add too many layers, but you typically won’t encounter these issues and you rarely lose progress due to auto save.

Probably the best free drawing software for iOS.. I rely solely on IbisPaint to draw digitally, and make content for the internet. It has a simple setup that doesn’t overwhelm the user with a bunch of tools from the start, and it has more advanced tools for more skilled digital artists. It doesn’t lag or stall (unless you’re drawing something huge, or there’s way too much in your gallery), and it’s much more efficient to use than many other drawing apps here, like Medibang. There are some features I would like to see implemented into the app, just as long as they aren’t rushed to be implemented. One such feature is an animation maker, or gif maker. I believe this is something many users would like to see put into IbisPaint, as Procreate recently implemented this into their software as well. It doesn’t need to be a full-blown animation desk, just something simple to allow users to create their own gifs/short animations. A second feature I would like to see put into IbisPaint is a feature which allows the user to download a clip in its entirety of an artwork being drawn. The limitations on saving footage go up to 300 seconds, and speed up the drawing a lot. Other than these two things, this app is amazing. I highly recommend this as a starting point, or just for anyone who can’t afford fancy programs.

Great, but…. This app is amazing. It has a wide variety of colors and hundreds of brushes that can make artistry easier and more enjoyable for beginners and professionals alike. In addition to the more basic features, it creates the ability to edit your drawing without ever using a brush with things like blur, perspective, smudge, etc. You can even use grids, reference windows, stabilizers and different shaped rulers [for all of those tricky circles ;)] It can be a bit tricky to navigate at first, and I’m still learning as I go, but once you get the hang of it it’s super easy. And on top of it all, even though many things that I haven’t mentioned are premium features, Ibis has an amazing way of both keeping themselves in the air and giving us continence. Instead of having to watch an ad for EVERY SINGLE premium item, you can watch a singular one and get all brushes free for essentially the next day. Which brings me to the one problem. It’s not even an issue, more an inconvenience that I noticed had appeared recently. Every time you go to create a new canvas, enter/exit an existing one, etc. an ad pops up. They’re typically pretty short, and I do get that Ibis has to have some way of getting paychecks, but it’s extremely annoying since I’m constantly deleting my messed up creations and making new ones. If someone could fix this to be less frequent or even just explain why this has started happening, I would be a bit more content. Have a nice day! :)

It's amazing but needs some improvements.... I love this app so much, ever since I first downloaded it to begin my journey as a digital artist. However, as I've grown older, I've realized that while this app is awesome but I needs some improvement. For example, the brushes in ibisPaintX are great but a wider variety would be even better, also being able to import brushes so that users can experiment more within the app rather than stick to the same old brushes. Also, better setting for the brushes, you know, more options besides changing opacity, size, etc. Another improvement could be allowing scrubbing when viewing the time lapse of art. I know some artists, when they post online, add proof or wips of some kind in their post. I also do but sometimes I forget to take those while doing my artwork. Instead of having to remove layers in my piece, I could just click on the place in the time lapse to screenshot and I'm ready to go! Also, adding folders to layer options would be nice instead of having to name every layer in an artwork just to be able to find it again. And finally, adding a blending brush would be amazing. I have to use the blur tool and airbrush, which works well enough, but blending would be an absolutely great addition! That's all I can think of on improvement! Other than that, this app is amazing and an absolute blessing to the young digital artists out there in the world! Thank you!

Yeaaa. This easily the most fun I’ve hade in drawing on a iPad! Too be honest it was really easy ones I figured out how to operate it😅 If I were to chose over sketch book and this app. (I can’t remember the name) I would suggest to use this, sorry if this is super long. I’m just really excited to share how much I love it! Chose this app! It free too. That makes things better. Btw I think there is in app purchases. So if your getting this for your kids, turn off in app purchases if that’s possible! I have no idea if I’m helping or nay helping this app get more ppl to get it, but if I am! Shout out to you! I’m for some reason still trying 😗 so… ya! That’s almost all I got for you! (Take your time on the tout oral! I learned that the hard way. Cool but like…. So well, this is a spectacular app that has lots of creativity spilled out, but to the people who doesn’t even know how to draw in the first place (like me) would have lots of difficulty managing all the different tools and colors and such( There is so much im dead). I, personally just love coloring, not really drawing because im pretty bad at it, but there are no base drawings to color, i take about 10 years to draw a perfect curve line… This app is probably for people who are experts in drawing, but I just draw for the fun of it, but I’m really bad so I can’t really manage to make anything except a family of stick figures and an attempt of an eye (It doesn’t look like an eye). So basically, I would just love some already-made anime figures or something like that to work with so more creativity spills out, there are already anime figures with different poses, yes, but there are no characteristics like eyes, mouths, noses, ears, hair, etc. and I don’t know how to draw any of those so it’s a huge challenge (I went through tutorials don’t blame me, I just wanna color). I know this is a drawing…/painting app but it just works as a coloring app, all the other apps with coloring based things are… pretty bad, the base drawings aren’t what I’d like to, and the tap-coloring things like by numbers or something like that don’t have any fun because you’re just tapping things and adding colors, I love how the app works, but… it’s just so confusing.✨😭✨

Great app. Download!. Been using the app for about a year now but it’s my first time using it on iPhone (usually use it on a PicassoTab) considering it’s a bit different from the PicassoTab it’s still very easy to figure out. I can’t really think of any issue besides the fact that using the Blur causes glitches (and even then it’s only if you use a big size not the medium or small sizes) I think it’s good and you should download it. If it’s your first time going to use it, then it may take awhile to figure everything out since the tutorial is mostly about the basics unless you click on something new. If it isn’t your first time, but you’re downloading from a totally different device than what you normally use, once again it’s a little weird at first but everything is pretty much the same. Also, I really like the update and how you can scroll to see the top 20 drawings . Before, you couldn’t check them unless they were in this sorta slideshow thing so that’s an improvement. Also appreciate how you can check other peoples artwork out. Something that’s really cool is how the app automatically ‘records’ your process of drawing and so you can see how other people or how you went from start to finish.

10/10 Would Recommend. This app is absolutely amazing. For starters, this app is very professional to be free. Unlike a lot of free art apps it is user friendly, and the majority of things are free. There are some features that you have to buy the membership for, but those are mainly little ones, like the ability to re-arrange your gallery. You can even watch an ad every 18 hours to get EVERY. SINGLE. BRUSH. free of charge. And those brushes are not only incredibly useful for artists of all kinds, but also are fun to play around with. It also has just about every tool you could think of, the ability to specifically choose a color anddd save it to your own pallet, and you can even add layers and move them around, as well as change their visibility. You can also add in any saved image of your phone, or grab one from the apps own gallery. It also auto saves your progress, so if your phone randomly dies, your hard work is safe! There is so much to offer on this app without even having to pay money. The only ads you will ever see, (unless, like me, you watch some for free brushes), will be teeny tiny ones on the top that you barely even notice. And while yes, on older electronics it can be a bit buggy, the amount it has to offer is incredible. I really do mean this, this app is so so great, it will change your artist life for the better.

Best drawing app for iPhone. I have been using this for about two years now and I have yet to find another app like it. I just got an iPad Pro and honestly miss this app bc procreate is complicated loll. I had major improvement through these two years and it is all bc this is easy to learn and use. You can spend more time drawing bc once you learn basics you will pick up on everything else very quickly. I usually sketch out a drawing bc I just use my phone and finger to draw but if you have a stylus or are using an iPad it is just as easy to draw on here as it is drawing on paper. I 15/10 recommend this for anyone who is serious or even people who are only playing around with drawing. It is free and the tools you can buy you can get for 18 hours by watching a 30 second add— it’s totally worth it. Though i was pretty close to just buying them bc it would be worth it. I’ve spent 20+ hours on one drawing and still am not tired of this app😂. I’m seriously thankful for it bc it not only helped my shading skills but my eye for colors which in turn helps with things like watercolor and colored pencil but without the stress of messing up. Seriously, I love this app and I couldn’t suggest it more.

Amazing for drawing. I normally don’t write reviews, but this app is so wonderful and I use is so often I decided I would. The layering options are amazing for things like shading and lighting. There is this thing where you can select an area and you will only be able to add things in that area. This is super helpful for when I’m adding highlights to hair. The best part? ITS FREE! Yes, they have a paid version too, but I have the free version and it works just fine. Most apps won’t let you do anything unless you pay, but this app is rather fair, and you can get all the brushes by watching one video! Truly the best drawing app I have ever used. And when I’m done, I can get a speed paint of my work, or just simply import the picture to my camera roll. Last thing I promise~ This is the first app I’ve seen that allows you to make transparent pictures, simply Amazing! You can import a picture when you first pick your canvas size, or add it in later after. 10/10 would recommend for drawing, speed paints, sketches, etc. it’s super easy to use and perfect for beginners. A thing I always hate is when I get a new app and don’t know how to use it. This however is super user friendly and easy to use and share. That’s it thanks for reading! :)

some concerns :/. Ok, I love this app, don’t get me wrong. The layout of the tools is really nice, I can access the layers easily, and although the brushes can be annoying sometimes because you have to watch ads, it’s overall a really great app! Now my concern isn’t about how the app works or anything but rather about the new update. So I opened the app like a day ago and it asks for my age, I’m a bit hesitant but I don’t really care because it’s not asking for address or anything like that. Still it’s a bit weird you would need to know our age...?? But anyways I go on and read what’s new in the update, and it has a couple new brushes, nothing out of the ordinary, and I was excited to use the new brushes!! Anyways I was bored today and I wanted to look at the reviews on this app, I look through and see a bunch of people being concerned with age thing (obvious I am aswell) but then I saw some comments about a static noise when they open the app (which I’ve heard means that the app could be tracking your location or something) I open the app and sure enough I heard this really eerie static sound that kept playing over and over, I think I might have to turn to other drawing apps as this app makes me feel a bit unsafe, which a drawing app should never make you feel!! But yeah that’s my review 👨‍🦲👨‍🦲👨‍🦲👨‍🦲

you might not care but you should read this:. So a while back ibspaint had (sometimes still does) have some weird top arts. Sure some of them are tame like just a cute girl with a wand. Nothing to bad. But sometimes (it’s now pretty rare I used to see it all the time) there’s some arts that have a girl with um.. very weird outfit choices (bra’s,swimming stuff, outfits like that) and so far I haven’t seen any of that! Aside from that the brushes are wonderful and I love everything bout the app! Plus you can now MOVE the best arts! So it can go at your pace now! Sweet! Edit: So I’m still using ibisPaint and I haven’t seen any weird top arts! I didn’t have such a big problem it’s just when I want to show me arts to friends they see-“that” but now since it’s gone it’s gotten really better! And I loveee that you can scroll the top arts instead of having to wait for it to rotate ☺️ for the brushes they are great. Some are useless for ME but maybe other people like them? Idk maybe I just don’t use to many brushes. But I do have one problem I think might not be able to be fixed- so when I use that magic wand tool it’s okay. But when I’m done coloring in with the magic want, some of the inside is pixelated, and it ruins the art with the pixels. But other then that the apps great! You should get it ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

I like the app but a few issues... So when I was gonna edit a drawing..It said lack of storage..but I had 10.3 GBS left! It was confusing so I decided to delete some photos and it didn’t do it anymore BUT when I came back in 4 hours later.. it said it again. But I had the same amount of remaining storage as I said at the beginning. Well 10.1 from a new photo but it stopped doing it 7 hours later! But last thing as someone liked procreate more than this I like this also but take off the music! It’s so annoying I hear rap music THAT I NEVER EVEN HEARD OF! Since that “new update” I’ve been hearing it non stop.. take is off because why do we need a random song while we draw?? And it’s on the main Home Screen sometimes. I would ask to take off the music not really trying to argue but I wish it would stop maybe some people like the music but I don’t and some others don’t either. Add a music menu with different types of music that the company added and like you can make the volume adjustable and like a voice thing if you want it to be instrumental or just make a switch for it to be all off. But a amazing high quality app! But those are 2 bugs that I had trouble with. Thank you.

Fantastic!. One of my hobbies is testing drawing apps, and I have had at least 7. I’ve drawn in everything from Notes to Procreate by Apple, but they don’t compare. I got it yesterday, and I already know the functions, and have made better works on here than anywhere else. It’s easy to use, free, and the only ads there are are tiny ones either at the top or bottom of your screen. No videos. It’s incredible. You get amazing brushes, and all for one ad. And you don’t need to spend money just to enjoy the full extent of ibisPaint. So over all, five star review, will not disappoint. (Ok maybe it will I don’t know your style) Edit: It’s been a while since I first got this and first posted my review! So here is a little update to my thoughts: It’s always updating! Some annoying things with the eraser and bucket tools have been fixed and all the brushes have been adjusted and some were added! It’s cool to see how much they pay attention to what people need from this app. Editing photos is an easy process, instead of having to do it in the photos app or Photo shop. Anyway, still a five star, I haven’t found any problems with it. But I do think that they should add a settings area in the main page, and a toggle that can turn on or off the function that makes it so when you go out of a drawing or your device dies, you can’t use the ‘go back’ button. I’m not sure how these sorts of apps work, but if that is possible, please make it so.

Absolutely great!. I actually discovered this app through a friend of mine who also is an artist, better then myself I say, and even in the beginning I immediately fell in love. The app is so easy to understand and get used too. It’s very smooth to use, even if you are just a novice in digital art, as myself was when starting. This app really helped me improve and it’s really easy to use everything, just watching one ad can easily unlock everything! I really have no problems and when I started getting into digital art I tried most of the high starred reviewed apps. Most of them were hard to understand or get used too, but ibis was different in both regards. This is a great app to use if you are not willing or can not buy a more “professional” app. I have only one request though. It would be great if you could somehow add accounts or just something similar to an iCloud that are mostly exclusive for ibis, so when you accidentally delete the app all of your work doesn’t just disappear with it. I remember when the app somehow got deleted on my phone I was devastated when I saw that all of the work went with it, so it would be great if you included a feature that saved your work, even if you delete the app. All in all though, keep up the great work!

I love it. I’ve got an Apple Pencil and The app works greatly with it I can’t believe that it made me an artist I can start drawing people now I still have to get the hang of doing it on paper but at least I have an app that I can do I love it all the details that it gives all the inspirational drawings it made me want to become an artist even more and trust me being a kid is not easy so this can help me get all my anger out or get all my sadness out or get whatever emotions out and it’s amazing how it works for me a true a lot of people I knew and it’s just crazy I love it it made me a great artist you should try it out if you do please write a great review because it’s amazing when it works with my Apple Pencil it’s like a whole new world for me it’s like I didn’t even know what it’s like to not be an artist and now That I am it’s amazing I am so grateful for that and always done for me I love it so much and I get done in no time it’s like I don’t know what to say about it it’s just amazing and it’s crazy too it’s amazing and crazy I love it so much and when I get all my feelings out I feel like I need to drop more and more and more and more that’s what this app does to you it doesn’t just want to make you draw he wants to make you draw more and more and more thanks for listening bye

I can’t with this app!!. I'm very new to digital art but l've picked up pretty fast and am already taking commissions. Out of all the programs I've tried this one is really stellar. It gave me everything others lacked such as more brushes and brush customization, paint bucket tool, merging layers etc. At first I will admit that I was a bit confused because of all the options on the interface but really you get so used to it after really drawing with it. The only time it crashes is when I input a image that the app deems too big, however it's not a big issue because I can simply adjust the size and it works perfectly (plus it auto saves my work when it did crash). Some of the brushes can be very laggy but really they're perfect for what I need. The ruler options are also very very handy. Really if you "cant draw" like the negative comments are saying I believe it's a user fault, maybe they are on a wrong or hidden layer or maybe their opacity is down. I love this a lot. If ur reading this I recommend the download. a big plus is for just one ad you unlock all the locked features for 18 hours, unlike other apps that bombard you with advertisements and lock off everything. Bravo developers I can tell you care about this. Definitely recommend downloading if you're new to digital art. It introduces you to all the tools and for me even works without WiFi. And I was surprised to say that it's auto recorded my whole drawing?? That's SICK. Great great job

Its good but…. I love the game it’s such a great painting game and it’s pretty cool it’s the best drawing game I have ever seen❤️ it’s a nice game I will totally tell my older cousins about it! It’s a very good game to play when your bored and have no WFI. I usually just play it to practice my tracing because when I was little I would love to be a actor and singer and a good artist. So you can you use it to calm your self down because it really helps me out I’m just glad I got the game but one thing I don’t like about it is that when I’m trying to make one line it disappears and I had to reset the app🤦🏽‍♀️ (I don’t HATE the game it’s just that one thing but overall the game is great 😌) you did a great job on making this wonderful drawing app to help other teens practice drawing. It also helps me practice draw body’s because it breaks my heart when my little cousin get bullied by a group of boys because my little cousin is not the best at drawing so I draw practice drawing so when I’m ready to guide him I will but right now I draw for him just for those boys to stop. So this is a great game but it’s just that one thing💅🏾 but I’m not trying to be rude or anything and I’m truly sorry if I make you mad or sad you make you feel some type of way 🥹🙏 so yeah have a wonderful day or night live laugh and love ❤️ good luck 🍀

Really good app! Small minor problems. While using ibisPaint x over the last 2 months sconce I’ve gotten it, I have to say that I really enjoy using this to make most of my art. It has practically everything I need on there (so long as you buy a few pens that you would like) but I’ve also had a few challenging times with it, such as the starter tutorial being a bit confusing because it would as one could say, bug out, and when I say it would bug out I don’t mean it would just appear and dissappear every few seconds I mean that it would actually just not be there after completing one step, and I had to figure out how to use the app on my own (not that it was extremely confusing because I figured it out pretty well) and In fact the next day the tutorial just popped up while I was drawing. But all apps come with its bugs as one could say and I do beilieve I haven’t come across any other problems (only the minor eraser stopped working and pen stopped working and then the app just shut off but it was just a glitch) so definitely get the app if you want something you can do art on the phone for or really on anything but yes definetly get this if you want something easy to use! - blu

Grateful for the app. This is definitely the best drawing game out there first this might look really confusing at the beginning when you start playing this but after your first drawing you’ll get used to everything and make sure to read what it tells you and you will be a master at it and make it one of them but some of the best drawing that I don’t even go back good but I am getting there I’ll probably join a little nightmares two in my gallery you guys should take inspiration from some of your favorite games and draw them and see how it looks if it doesn’t look good redo it that’s basically what I have to say about this app it’s definitely the greatest drawing game app out there even though I’m a little bit confused what are the nine dollar one what did you get the free one anyway this one is one of the best hopefully you download this app and experience all the great things that has in it hope this game gets really popular even though it already is popular this game is definitely something you should get and when you get it you will not regret it you’ll end up making a lot of good stuff you will end up figuring out with you what you’re drawing drawing art/concept thingy is what how do you make your characters and if it is all good just keep it you’ll keep going yeah yeah

Great... BUT. I think IbisPaint is a great in between for an art program: it’s not overly complicated but it has everything you need to make a very put together piece. I also like how the adds are minimal are not very in your face. Many other art programs are not like this... The only think I don’t like when using ibis is how it will freeze up every now and then. I usually just have to wait a few seconds and tap the screen, so it’s not too bad. This might only be a thing with my iPad, though. Overall this is a very streamlined program for beginning and intermediate artists! 10/10 give it a try! EDIT AFTER NEW VER.: I have recently been getting lots of pop- up adds. Both video adds and smaller pop ups asking me to subscribe to the add- free service. This has really annoyed me as the adds come without warning... the lack if in-your-face-ness from adds in Ibis is something I have always loved, as they were either optional or very small. This new change has detracted from the experience from me, however I continue to use Ibis. I suppose I can’t complain to much as it is free, and for being so still very high quality. Impressive. Although I have used the app before, I can tell it has improved by a lot. When I first got the app I wasn’t really into art as much. Now I have great interest in it. IbisPiant x is a really good app and I really recommend it. The thing that I really like about it is that there is a blur and smudge tool. I never knew how much I would actually use them but now I use the blur and smudge tool a lot. The smudge tool is really great I like how it’s not so aggressive I don’t know how to put this exactly but I’ve had other apps and there smudge tool was really not the best. It wouldn’t give the option to change the opacity although it did give a option for the size of the tool. On IbisPaint x it’s really not like that at all. It’s really smooth and has a nice flow. Speaking if smooth, the app isn’t laggy which is great. It does depend kn your internet but I have noticed with other apps that sometimes the screen might freeze or the brushes would be really choppy, as in it wouldn’t be smooth. Also I love the verity of brushes they are all really useful. I like how you can unlock all the brushes by watching a quick advertisement. Although it doesn’t stay forever I believe. One thing is that there are adds on the top of the screen which doesn’t really bother me. It’s awesome how you see peoples’ art i believe it’s the ‘Daily Ranking’ or something similar to that. I am very happy with the app overall. 10/10 I would recommend.

AMAZING with some minor issues. I love IbisPaint and I suggest that many more people should use this amazing app. I love everything about it. It’s just overall a very easy-to-use drawing app with so many choices. Of course it could be all positive, but there are some minor issues. The first thing is that the ads are pretty unnecessary and kind of annoying. I love the stamps, but the ads you have to watch are a bit irritating...I also do not want to spend money on such a minor issue so if you can make all of the brushes free, that would mean a lot. Second, when you zoom in, the brush strokes are very pixelated but I think that’s normal. I am not sure but if you can, can you fix it? I don’t know if that is normal but whatever. Something else good is that the app is very easy to use. Unlike some drawing apps, the directions are very complex—however, ibisPaint is the opposite! All of the brushes and layers are very easy to use. One other thing, the colour palette. Don’t get me wrong, I love how you can create your own colours and use them, but is there a way so for example, I have a light pink, and a dark pink. I want to put the light pink in front of my darker one. You can’t do that. That makes it kind of weird, because you can’t move around the colours. If you can let them move around, that would mean a lot to me. Again, I love this app and I hope you can just fix some of the things I suggested. No hate, no pressure—keep on working! Honestly just amazing.. iBis Paint X has worked out great for me. I have been using this app for about 1 or 2 years, experimenting with different drawing apps. I never really got comfortable with other drawing apps, so I was a bit skeptical as to if I would like this or not. This was the first drawing app that I actually used before in my life, and that’s never going to change. I really love how iBis Paint lets you watch an ad, and you can unlock free brushes for 18 hours! If your looking for an app that can slide right into you comfort zone, this would be it. They have many different types of brushes, and I can spend so, SO many hours here, just drawing. Recently, I purchased Procreate since my friends had been using it, but I never really got used to drawing there. iBis Paint has so many amazing features like many other apps do, and you have no idea how long I could ramble on for. The one thing that surprised me the most was how quickly I got familiar with the app! In just a few weeks, I got used to the drawing tools. I would totally recommend this app to anyone looking for a flexible and fitting editing platform. This is honestly all I have to write, but I want to say one last thing. This app has GREAT quality without paying, and it’s just so amazing! The app itself is completely free, and there are barely any in app purchases that effect the app. Overall, I just LOVE this app! Amazing! Here’s some Suggestions. I personally love this app. But maybe there should be more responsibilities for people to do on the app instead of giving others who buy your in-app purchases. For example: re-ordering your artworks cost money? It’s quite a big deal to me, since I want to put my finished artworks last and my artworks I’m going to finish first. Because I can’t do it, I have to scroll or minutes trying to find the artwork I want to finish. Also, I’m also wondering if you could add a feature telling that how long it took to make a piece? It’s says, “Time: 1:48” but that’s only how long the video for making it is, and I’m uncertain that’s how long I took. I draw a mark and erase it, it turns into, “Time, 1:49”. Also, there should be a feature that posts stuff on your social media. When I post my art (for example, insta), I put it on, and when I post it, I see the is some space that is white when it isn’t supposed to. Yeah sure, I can delete it and re-post, but I always do it! And usually mess up again and again. I hope you can add these features! But overall, this app is amazing and I totally recommend it to you. You have so many brushes, and you can have even more for 18 hours if you just watch and ad, thumbs up! I love it so much, and I support you!!! 🥰

I really like it! Just one thing though.... Ibis is a really great app. The one of best I’ve seen so far for a mobile drawing program. There is a lot of versatility in the brushes and the comic panel feature is a life saver! The only thing that really bothers me is you can’t name layers. I know most artists make the joke that “Oh haha I never name my layers!” but seriously, this is a big problem! Sometimes my canvas is too big to be able to see what is on the layer so I just have to try and guess until I get the right one and it’s so tedious. Please add this!! It’s such a silly little thing that doesn’t sound important but it’s really annoying not being able to organize my layers, and speaking of organizing layers, folders!! Not only can you not name your layers, you cannot make folders. Again, this seems like it’s not a very important feature until you’ve been using the app for a couple days and you realize just how annoying it is. Maybe it’s a premium thing and I’m writing this review for absolutely no reason but if it is please make it free! For my sanity’s sake lol. I use at least fifteen to sometimes thirty layers in one illustration and it’s such a headache having to scroll around completely unnamed layers. I really don’t want to have to keep a notebook that says “Layer 21 is character 3’s shoes’ outline” like c’mon that’s ridiculous!

THE best drawing app out there!!. I have been drawing digitally with IbisPaint X for roughly 3 years, and there is no better app. Actually, I take that back. I’m sure IbisPaint ( the normal one ) is better. But, I would like to recommend a few things. One being, it would be nice if you could edit the video of you drawing on the canvas before you post it online. I usually draw/trace real life pictures, and I doubt the people I’m drawing would want their faces online. Just a thought. Second, if you could follow people inside the actual app ( instead of their social media ) it would be amazing so i can just go to my “following” list to see all of my favorite artists. Also, it would be cool if i could change my name inside the app so my name isn’t plastered everywhere when i post/like things ;-;. Third, i would like to access my profile easier. I have to click on my online gallery then go to my profile that way, when it would be easier to just put my icon in a corner to click on to get to my profile ( maybe on the blue screen when you first open the app? ). Oh, and making folders for my artwork would be amazing. It would be much easier to organize and group my artwork. All that being said, you guys are awesome, and I can’t wait for more updates!

Amazing app, but.... I had this app for a while now and I have gotten really attached to it and I know how to use most of the things on it. It’s really a great app and it has a lot of features that can be used for any drawing at any possible time. it’s very convenient but there is some problems with it. Sometimes when I want to use the paint bucket tool or if I want to move a picture I’ll use the transformation tool but results in crashing the app. Half the time it just crashes without explanation, just at random. This can be really inconvenient because I’ll have to redo anything I just did. Another issue is the message that “my app is running out” even when I just have one layer and it becomes very slow and laggy to do anything and I have to restart it for it to be normal again. Now I have another issue that started this morning when I tried to get back on a picture I was working on but the app wouldn’t even let me work on it anymore, it would just freeze. Now I can’t work on my picture, I’ve been working on it for a long time and I really want to have the bugs fixed so I can continue doing my drawings. It really is a great app! I just think it needs to have the bugs fixed so everyone can enjoy doing their illustrations.

Amazing, but crashes ruined it all!. At first, I thought this app was amazing for drawing, and it was! Everything was functional, and everything was A-OK. I’ve used this app for about a year or two, and it has now started to glitch. Every once in a while I would crash. I’m so mad because I was trying to fill a cat ear for the hoodie for the character I was making, but I accidently forgot to connect the lines and ended up filling one side of the background. Right then, it crashed, and you know once you exit the painting, you can’t undo the previous stuff you once did beside deleting that layer, or erasing. (which takes forever if you’re trying to erase something big without interfering with the layer that you accidently messed up with) For the other crashes, I didn’t really mind because it was nothing big. But this ruined my whole picture! Now some parts don’t have outlines and some parts don’t have color in them, instead its white! Now, before some of you people reading this review say “It’s just one picture, you’ll be fine.” Imagine if you took HOURS AND HOURS on a drawing, and you accidently made a massive mistake, and suddenly it crashes on you! It was a waste of time and you don’t want to waste more time fixing a huge mistake just to fix another one! If you’re a developer reading this, please fix this. Because I kinda don’t wanna use this app ever again after this. (Sorry if my english is bad)

Great App!. IbisPaintX has been a great app that I have been using for years. It has a variety of brushes, along with an option to make your own brush! This app also provides a speed paint option, that allows you to watch the process it took while making your art! You can also import pictures onto the canvas, which could be used for tracing, editing/revising, or to add filters. This app also has a lot if filters you can choose from, and they are all neatly organized in categories. This app also has a premium feature, which gives you more opportunities with your art. The undo button has a lot of undos, im not sure if its infinite, but it does a LOT. Only downside to this, is if you completely close out of the app, and remove the tab, you cant come back and redo things. You can also make layers, and you can merge them down to others as you'd like. You can also move the layers above or below other ones. There is so much i could talk about this app, but the paragraph would be too long. Im shocked that this app is free, and its amazing for drawing and photo editing. If you are trying to find a free, advanced, and organized drawing/editing app, I highly recommend using IbisPaintX! -Kiwi

Get this app my goobers😇. I’ve been using ibis to draw for a while now, and it’s probably one of the easiest ways I’ve been drawing. It’s easy to use and work and I’m so happy they added the animation option! It’s probably one of the best features, but overall the app itself and the people who made art on it and made the app in general are beyond talented. For as many years as I’ve waited for the animation update, it was worth the wait. Poor FlipaClip bro everyone is switching to ibis😭 And, the way you can import brush codes and make brushes is creative, and very fun, because then you can make a brush that you always use and is capable of the things you need it to, instead of having to switch from multiple brushes and finding the one you mainly use. The way you can change the canvas size, is perfect for when you have to make full body art or even just a size that people use all the time. What I’m saying is, this app is amazing. The way it lets you save speed paints and you can have it on other devices other than phone, it’s just amazing to me🫶🏽 so, I think you silly fellers should get this silly app to draw silly things😻

About the Storage ibisPaint. Over it.. I knew about the app from my friend. I had downloaded it once but was never big on drawing so I deleted it. The other day I and my friends I was doing a competition, so I redownloaded the app, I finished we had some laughs. We held another competition so I started on my newest drawing, that so far had taken me 2 days, and I had started on a sketch of my friend that I was planning on finishing after the drawing I had already started on. So today I was planning to work more on the drawing that I had already started (the 2 days one) and the wouldn’t open. Every time I opened the app it crashed. I figured I’d lose my drawings, so I tried looking up why the app is doing this, I tried backing up my photos, but I couldn’t because the app wouldn’t open. So I took a risk and just deleted the app, hoping my pictures would still be there when I redownloaded it. So I redownloaded it, but it continued to crash and crash and crash, so I was at a loss. I told my friends what happened, and went through phases of anger and sadness because of my drawings, I tried one more time a few minutes ago, to redownload the app after having it deleted for a few minutes, but that still didn’t work. And now here I am telling you guys about my experience with this app. Just don’t make my mistake, back up your pictures. Now I have to go find a new drawing app to use, even though I no longer have any motivation to draw anymore. Thanks, IbisPaint X!

Fantastic but.... This is an amazing app and I use it all the time. I love all the effects such as blurring, layers, copy and paste, and so much more. You also get to view a time-lapse of your work, which I think is awesome. There are just two very minor things that sorta bug me a bit. The first one is really not that big of a deal, but when I’m viewing the top art pieces, sometimes I like to watch the time lapse. After I finish watching it, It starts back at the beginning and it moves really slow. The other thing is also not a huge deal, but when you make the line more transparent, you can’t use the bucket tool. An example of a time where this was an inconvenience was I was drawing a light, and wanted to make the lit area of the wall lighter. I didn’t want a line to show, so I made it super transparent, almost invisible. But when I tried to use the bucket tool, it covered my whole wall. It’s almost like the app doesn’t think a light line is a line at all. It was no big deal, because a found another way, but for a while I thought I would have to color in the whole wall by hand. So, overall, this app gets a gold star sticker from me, but there are just a few little kinks to be worked out.

Amazing app but something changed it.... So I am quite an editor And as well I do digital art. I've been looking for quite some time for an app that I can edit with that is free and gets the job done with editing, and finally I found one! It was Ibis Paint X, I love editing especially with an app that doesn't call for money, until I found out for the new update. The new update threw me off... From when erasing and all the brushes have changed which I do not like. When erasing the brush gets bigger which I do not like. For smaller areas you would need to go down in a straight line (like If you were in a street) and the street went onto the houses and you just need a little brush to get some of the little paint off the houses, well that used to happen... But now you can't, the brush will be small then get bigger and bigger, so that's what I do not like. As well as the brushes, the brushes... Ah let's see here, well the brushes don't have their same style anymore really, like the Pin dip and the Airbrush they both have the dark opacity Now instead of when back then the airbrush would Be lighter and all and you could go over and over again until you like the opacity you get. Honestly I think this app is awesome and amazing, but I just hope they can fix this so when making art, things won't bother you as much. So this is why I am giving this app a four star out of five.

Awesome… But some things NEED fixing. I’ve been using Ibispaint for a long time and I love it. You can subscribe to comics and make comics, which I love. Most of the IbisPaint community is okay, and just saying, this has nothing to do with the app, but there are a lot of people who steal art, start drama or hate. This comes from the online part of the community. I‘m not gonna call out names but there are TONS of kids under the age of twelve who play this and hate and start drama. The majority of the community I’d say is okay, but there is drama everywhere you look. Sexuality has become a HUGE problem. There will be lots of fights about it and haters about it and its all a mess. Now, this is a problem with the app. IbisPaint will take down things that didn’t have anything inappropriate or anything really, and they will allow partially nude drawings that show lots of skin to GET ON THE LEADERBOARD. I would hope they would fix this. I also hope they add something that asks for your age and doesn’t allow kids under 12 on the online part. I would let them draw, but not get onto the online comments and posted artwork, because these kids are causing a HUGE problem in the community. I would definitely recommend as an app, I would just say to be careful on the online portion.

I have bought so many sketch books over the years, but, unless you intend to sketch or you happen to have it on you when inspiration strikes, the moment passes, and the idea blows away with the wind. Thanks to the developers here, Not anymore! You know what you always have on you? A device that is capable of utilizing this app! My daughter loves it! She is not a tech savvy girl, but still found it easy to navigate. On top of that it has helped broaden her world of art. She now is interested in and has signed herself up for mixed media! Just like any other app there are in app purchases to use like some of the quality tools, BUT.. UNLIKE OTHER APPS.. they offer daily, time limited full access if you watch a video from their sponsors! Either way if you have any interest in drawing, sketching, painting or any other multitude of reasons... you seriously cannot go wrong with this app! Thank you & Kudos .. Five stars from us!

Amazing app but freezing up and ads. I’ve been using this app for years due to there no pop up ads and easy use and then suddenly The app keeps freezing in the middle of my drawing with leads to me having to close the app even i need to go back on something and these pop up ads are crazy any time i have to close the app due to the problem previously stated and re open the app a pop up add for gacha? Will pop up infront of my work it’s very frustrating but easy to deal with due to them not being videos then suddenly in the middle of my work or me looking trough my art projects a pop up ad will show but no no no it’s not just any old add it’s a video so i have to wait and sit trough a word escape ad very short but very annoying and the skip button is to small so i always end up tapping it and then when i quickly re direct myself back to ibispaint X it wont let me skip again and i have to wait a few more seconds not to mention on top of that i have to watch ads just to usesome brushes i had to import myself witch i used to not mind due to the app not having many ads but nowI’m just over it it’s a good app don’t get me wrong it’s easy to use and import brushes easy to navigate and figure out and my art always turns out good but these adds and not to mention the freezing up when I’m on the app is crazy annoying

So many of my friends use this app and it is definitely worth downloading! If you are a Gacha YouTuber, An artist, or just a simple person that wants a place to share their art among others, then this app is perfect for you! I have seen so many good reviews about this app! Even though I play on a IPhone 6, it actually isn’t too hard, even when I was beginning. I do edits and I think that this app is perfect for them. An honest opinion. I’m very new to digital art but I’ve picked up pretty fast and am already taking commissions. Out of all the programs I’ve tried this one is really stellar. It gave me everything others lacked such as more brushes and brush customization, paint bucket tool, merging layers etc. At first I will admit that I was a bit confused because of all the options on the interface but really you get so used to it after really drawing with it. The only time it crashes is when I input a image that the app deems too big, however it’s not a big issue because I can simply adjust the size and it works perfectly (plus it auto saves my work when it did crash). Some of the brushes can be very laggy but really they’re perfect for what I need. The ruler options are also very very handy. Really if you “cant draw” like the negative comments are saying I believe it’s a user fault, maybe they are on a wrong or hidden layer or maybe their opacity is down. I love this a lot. If ur reading this I recommend the download. a big plus is for just one ad you unlock all the locked features for 18 hours, unlike other apps that bombard you with advertisements and lock off everything. Bravo developers I can tell you care about this.💕 Definitely recommend downloading if you’re new to digital art. It introduces you to all the tools and for me even works without WiFi. And I was surprised to say that it’s auto recorded my whole drawing?? That’s SICK. Great great job🎨✨

This is the awesomeness app in the world. Hi this app is probably the best app you could ever get first of all you could make your own paint second of all you could do you like anything really easy to make pictures OK so basically this app is pretty good and all but it’s really hard to make pictures because people are young and they do not know how to make stuff and they’re not making any tutorials how you can make anything or anything so yeah I hope you fix some problems and future but anything but that I love is that it’s pretty cool and you could also add pictures that you never took pictures from any kid do you say and I recommend you guys putting a button where are you could get free VIP access and also recommend you putting a button if you if people want to delete one of their drafts then use a button for that thank you you guys report is perfect but not exactly call perfect everything is the steaks but I love you I can’t even make my IG‘s SC’s twitters Facebook account Picture but can I use some for my profiles I am just worried that they might sue me because like you do this so I’m just asking you if they will sue you if you do that or if you’re not but this app is amazing anyways so make sure that will be still having this up in the future because it’s the best #1 app’s 😻😻😻 PS sorry if it is creepy I couldn’t find the original one so I had to put the cat versions

Love it! But I have a problem…. I absolutely LOVE ibis paint x, I made my DREAM brush on it and was my first digital app. But here’s the problem, yesterday I got an IPhone 12, and I was so excited to make my first drawing on my new phone, but my pressure sensitivity was bad. When I would press my finger or stylus down hard, it wouldn’t be thicker, and same thing when I pressed down lightly. Now before you say, “Oh, you can get pressure sensitivity with the brush by clicking the brushes’ settings then make the brush have sensitivity” ( by clicking a button but I forgot what it’s called). I already know all that and added it to all my custom brushes, but the thing is, I went to settings in general for the app, and I scrolled down to “Pressure sensitivity “ and it’s where you can click “weak sensitivity” and “reset”. But it literally won’t let me adjust it, and I don’t know why, I don’t know if it’s a glitch (probably not) but I don’t want to delete then download this app back because I’ll lose my art and I’m assuming that won’t help it because I think it’s because of my iPhone 12. Like does it not support pressure sensitivity? If you have the solution or answer to my problem, please tell me. But anyways that you for reading. ❤️

Absolutely the best digital art app. I’ve tried a handful of different art apps because I wanted to try my hand at digital art and further hone my skills. I’ve tried apps that were easy to the point where they didn’t have half of what I needed and limited my abilities, I’ve tried popular apps like procreate which although it seems to have a million and ten different things it was to over complicated and left me feeling confused, overwhelmed, and burnt out. Then at the recommendation of a friend, I got ibis paint. My hopes were low, but after almost a year I can say whole heartedly I’ve never found an app I love more. It’s not to overly simple but it’s not incredibly complicated so it’s great for all skill levels. Springing for the premium also is worth it, it’s cheap at only $3 a month versus other apps which charge $9.99+, but even if you don’t want to drop the money, all you have to do is watch one add and you get everything unlocked (literally everything) for an hour or two. I used this time to just take a break when I wasn’t paying for premium. I highly suggest this app for anyone wanting to try their hand at digital art and those who don’t want to drop buku amounts of money on a premium art app.

Ibis Paint X is a “go to” app. As a former successful and award-winning, traditional media artist, I have come to embrace the functionality and processes of digital artistry. As an older and recently retired individual having to adapt to these newer mediums (iOS media tools and photo enhancements apps), I have personally discovered a whole new capability for producing images and compositions. I now mainly create images and projects for my own personal use and to share with family and friends. This app is great! A challenge for me at first, since I wasn’t use to the methodology of digital mediums, but using it in combination with other types of digital tools has really been a pleasure. I had to figure out some of the various capabilities of the Ibis Paint X app, but that comes with learning anything new. I have a select number of the available tools and functions that I mainly rely upon and there are so many more I am able to explore, as I need to. I hope others will make the effort to try this app and be as successful at navigating it as I have. If you find it to be another useful tool in achieving your artistic and creative endeavors, feel free leave a decent review as well. Peace!

My thoughts on this amazing app!. I’m going to try and keep this short for the few apple users who actually read reviews. I have been using ibisPaint for a few years now, and it still holds up fairly well. it rarely crashes, the brushes are good, and you can even upload it to your drive in any type of file format. Now on to the issue of the ads. I’m well aware that the only form of money this app is making is via other companies paying them to have ads play on their site. Now I don’t mind watching an ad per day so I could use all the brushes for free. But now every time I open up a drawing, save a drawing, and now WHILE I’m drawing, an ad decides to rear it’s annoying head and interrupt whatever it is I’m doing. I didn’t mind getting ads when I saved a file or opened a file. But while I’m drawing, are you kidding me? You already shoved ads in our faces when we did simple tasks so I don’t see the point of showing an ad to someone who is trying to use your app. You are a drawing software it doesn’t make sense to interrupt someone who is trying to use your “drawing” software to make art. I know I said I would keep this short but I’m honestly done with the ads messing with the drawing process. At this point I would rather use other softwares like procreate or HiPaint. And if any of the devs who even read the reviews, Let me remind you this is a “drawing” software not an Ad software.

I love the app but. With the new update, comes the feature that really annoys me. Every time I exit the app by pressing the home button, or double clicking the home button to switch between "open" apps, the artwork I'm in closes out, and takes me back to the title screen. I used to only have to deal with this if I shut off my phone, or if my phone died, but now I have to deal with it, what seems like, every time I exit the app. I get that it might be for "saving" your artwork, but I find it highly annoying because when I try to go back into it, I usually find quite a few mistakes I made that I can't just erase, and would need to use the "undo" button; but because the app exited my artwork, I no longe heaven access to the undo button. I really love the app and all, but if this doesn't get fixed, to where if I do exit the app, it will continue to close my artwork and not allow me to undo, then I'm going to have to stop using the app and look for another one that will take me another five years to get used to. And I really don't want to do that, so please fix this. Also, one other thing. About 50% of the time when I enter an artwork, the frambuff 5, or I think that's what it is, I've stopped paying attention because I've gotten the message so many times, fails to load and the app has to restart itself. I'm pretty sure this is a bug, and can be fixed pretty simply. But, otherwise; it's a good app.

Good app for beginners! Free and amazing, but some flaws.. I’m only here to explain that sometimes apps too good to be true can be true. Just like Ibis Paint X, art apps can be good and bad at the same time. Some kids use this app like I do so that they can get a feel of how to use these apps for art. Art should express yourself in a way few people do. Art has grown into 2 main branches, Digital art and Handmade. Digital is my preferred method but both methods are mainly used for art. Ibis Paint X is (in my opinion) the best free art app. It has layers, imported brushes you can add, good brushes overall, and much more reasons of why this is an amazing app. It’s great, but can be improved in many ways. In my opinion, the ads can be decreased by half. Yeah, you should keep the gold and unlocking all brushes for 2 ads mixed into 1. But you should remove the ads from the top of the screen. Many people complain about this but I honestly think it would be easier for the top bar of ads to be removed. Another flaw this app has (for not updated devices) is the lag this app can cause. This doesn’t happen to me because I update my IPad a lot, but I’m speaking for others who don’t do this. Try to decrease all the main problems that can cause lag. That’s all! Everything else is very impressive and I respect that! - P.S - Please at least keep these in mind so you can at least have an idea of what you can do.

Better Than Ibispaint!. Ibispaint X is better than Ibispaint, though Ibispaint costs money it has much more faultier problems and if you compare the reviews they are different. I'll tell you that Ibispaint is the best drawing app I've seen in my 15 years of drawing, Ibispaint resets your images and makes you do them again, I don't see anything wrong about Ibispaint X, so after you consider both of them please note that the money you are considering spending on Ibispaint is NOT worth it! I'd pay for Ibispaint X even if Ibispaint was free! Of course I've tested Ibispaint but its 100% not worth it! I've been using Ibispaint X for almost a year now and its very useful. You can either buy membership to get all the brushes forever or watch an ad to get them for 24 hours. I suggest watching a video Q~Q

A stunning and easy app 💛 Worldwide recommended. The app features are very easy and visible to learn. I adore the fact that it has such very efficient (drawing) settings. There is such a variation of brushes and useful tools. And especially essential since you don’t need to pay for brushes unless you watch a 30 second ad. However I was wondering if you should make some of the filters free and have a full tutorial and tips. Although I simply cherish this app, I’d like to mention that usually it would start glitching and wreck up how I’m drawing with the brushes (e.g. get all wobbly even when I’m using stabilizer) and sometimes even “glitch” my device unless I power down. Overall which is why I gave the app a 4 star rating 💫. However this is an extremely great app for beginners and I’d still recommend it a lot :) Ibis paint x has caused me to get 1.1k followers on my social media and I gladly give credit to this wonderfull app 💞

Generous and amazing and you should get this. I didn’t actually know I could draw so well on a phone until I got this app. It’s free (hence generous), it has a large selection of brushes and blur and smudge tools, you can cut something out of your drawing and move it (e.g. move the eye that you just fked up a little closer to the other eye so it’s not as bad and you don’t have to rub everything out and start over), it automatically records your screen for you so you can make speedpaint vids, you can have over 8 layers (haven’t figured out the upper limit yet tho) and it’s basically just everything I could wish for in a drawing app?? I really really like it. This is pretty much the best app I’ve seen on both tablet and phone so far. The only bad thing I’ve encountered is that at one point it wouldn’t let me draw straight lines, but I restarted the app and tried again and it was back to being fine. Get it. Get this app. Do it now.

I love this app. This app takes up atleast half of my day. There are no bugs or glitches and some people complain that you have to pay for some brushes, but here’s the thing. You can watch a short ad, just one, and you can access all the brushes in the entire game for a whole eigteen hours! Otherwise, there are no ads to interrupt your art. I enjoy experimenting with different brushes and FX. The fun I have on this app as an aspiring artist is probably indescribable. You can draw anything you can think of. I highly recommend using a stylus as it makes it a lot easier and smoother, but I started using my fingers for about a year when I first downloaded. I highly recommend this to even someone who doesn’t really do well in the art department. This app will teach you. Have fun!

Nice App, love using it. One request though. So. This app is absolutely amazing but i do have a request. Its how strong the ‘Blur’ tool is. For example: large spaces. Filling in large spaces but not wanting the same tone but still wanting it blurred it very difficult. The little change of tone in any colour is noticeable when blurred. I wish it was more strong and blurred more nicely. Other than that i love IbisPaint X One other thing though, just a thought. Maybe you could at a ‘special effects’ tab. It would have different textures like waves, different things like a shine or a cloud option. Just a thought though. Thank you for your time in reading this!

Amazing but I Need Help. Don’t get me wrong, ibis Paint is such a great drawing app for beginners and experts. There are countless brushes you can use and so many extra options you can use. It has almost anything you need. But for me, theres something I need help with. Recently, my ibisPaint has started to keep freezing at completely random times (usually when I’m in an artwork drawing). This is really frustrating as I have to completely close the app and go back into it again. It used to go away after a few times of reloading it, but now it’s practically useless. Now the only way I can draw is to rush my artwork as quickly as I can before the next ‘freeze.’ And then close, open the app, and wait for it to load. I don’t know what caused it and why its happening. Something else related to this is that most of the time, whenever I open an artwork even if it’s new or in progress, the options on the side and the colour/size/capacity disappears. Then all I can see is my artwork. I have to wait for the side options to load back for around a minute and this is really annoying. Again, I don’t know why it’s happening. I am 10 and my main hobby is to draw on ibisPaint X, but this problem makes me have to look for different drawing apps that I can’t even get used to. Please help me with this problem, I don’t know what to do!

Cool, but what happened here?. I love Ibis Paint X. It's probably my favourite drawing app ever. I've had other ones, but they haven't satisfied me as much as this one. It has comics, drawings, amazing artists and a overall good community. So much entertainment and joy all in one game. But I recently stumbled upon a problem, no, two. One has already been solved. First, I wasn't able to draw art for a very long time. It said there was a file missing, I had no idea what it meant. Apparently it just needed an update, an update that wasn't around until later. That has been fixed. However, since it broke, it takes too long to load the main menu for Ibis paint. In fact, even if I press help, or tutorials, it will keep loading. And it never stops! It keeps loading, and loading, and never ends. Eventually I have to just flick the app away. I can't tell anyone about this problem if I can't even get passed the main menu. The least I can do is talk about it and see if anyone knows about.

Would suggest this to anybody!. This is just pure amazing, it is a good idea to first make a painting just for testing as the tutorial is very simple, but there is so many brushes, colours, and just everything. There’s layers, a fill tool, lasso just everything. You can tell the creators are artists as this has EVERY. THING. I could suggest this to anybody, and anybody that’s how good this app is. It has support for apple pencils and other stylists too. The only thing I could suggest is the ability to make folders and to name them so I can organise my paintings as I like having everything easily accessible. - from a person who downloaded and is amazed he didn’t have to pay for anything and can strive in art with the help of it.

How can this app get even better?!?. Even with all the other illustration apps gatekeeping features ibisPaint still somehow keeps it free! First with all the great features in this app it’s hard to believe most of it is free, I thought how can this app get better than it already is? I didn’t even have to answer that question! You added animating to the app making it so much easier to animate using this app. Instead of having to import photos into other apps we can just make an animation using the newly added feature! This makes me believe that this app is probably if not actually the best free drawing app. Great app creators, love it! <3

I’m so impressed 😱. This app is the best illustration app I have ever come across! It all started when my friend Melissa told me to check it out! I downloaded this app and I was stunned at the tools and how they are free for a long period, and how it has amazing layer tools rulers and much more! I also love how the tutorial tells you basically everything about this one button and that is splendid! The only thing about the tutorial is that whenever I re download it I have to go throughout the tutorial all over when I already know what to do. So I was wondering if you could put a thing when you jump into drawing your image that says ‘have you played ibis paint X before?’ And there is a yes and no button. If you press no you get the tutorial but if yes you don’t get the tutorial. Otherwise this game is splendid and I hope you keep making the game better!

Great but the music. Okay look I absolutely love the app and I use it quite a bit for edits, sticker designs ect. but I listen to music while drawing and the thing is it always turns the music off which is really annoying because music and rain helps me to focus which is why I only really draw while it's raining but the fact that -and it's probably the ads- if you accidentally tap the ads or go too close to them my music will turn off and then I'll have to get into my music app again since it completely shuts it off and I'll have to go back to the app right after I've put the music back on, luckily it doesn't happen too often but it is very difficult to focus without rain and/or music so yeah 😊 that's really my only complaint it's otherwise amazing and I'd definitely recommend it for basically any age group or talent level since it suits nearly everyone!

Low quality. I’ve been using ibis paint for i while and this has been a bit of a problem The app is very low quality for me, is it the canvas size? Or anything else but for some reason so I need to knock off points, the app is great but I think it might be the brush I’m using or the canvas size causing the problem. Anyways, I’d recommend using the app if you have a Apple Pencil because is easier to control and get the details and instead of having your hand in the way, overall this app is good for any kind of person whether or not you extremely good, and if anyone is reading, just remember your art is great even if it’s not as good as everyone else’s or it’s not where you want it to be, as long as you are having fun.

Omg!! ❤️. How should I start!! This app is amazing!! If you're are a beginner to digital art, then this little gem is the app for you. It may be hard at first, but once you get used to all of the features, drawing is a breeze. It's amazing how this app is free!! It has so much value. I totally recommend buying all the brushes but if you want to use the paid-for ones for free you can just watch a 30 second ad, and boom! 18 hours of any brush you want! The graphics are great, the fill tool is accurate, and the interface is simple and easy to use. The only things that bug me are: The lag when blurring within a lassoed section, the blur tool could be stronger and I wish we could arrange brushes. I use the dip pen and airbrush a lot but having to scroll to switch between them is a pain. But... despite the few flaws, this app is great!! Definitely deserves ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Recommend for beginners? Idk I need to fill this out to send in the review:,). I’ve been using the app for about 5 years and never gave a review 😀😳 But I think it deserves 5 stars for being free. The only time ads pop up is if you want brushes and the brushes are very nice. I definitely think it’s a good app to use if ur just starting out. It gives a full on tutorial on what everything is so it’s impossible to not know what is what unless you don’t read what the pop up tutorials say. It very rarely glitches out for me. I can reach to 50 layers on an iPhone 6 with no problems. (For me at least) My phone doesn’t get really hot when I use it and it doesn’t burn up my battery. It’s easy export and I love how there’s always a speed draw no need to click a record button or anything every time you start up the drawing again. I’ve been trying to switch over to another drawing app that’s more advanced but if I’m not in the mood to learn about the app I’ll just come doodle on ibisPaint because it’s really good and simple. 8 year old me liked it and 13 year old me still loves it :)

It’s amazing to use~✨. When I first started doing digital art, I couldn’t find any platforms that were free to use and still had great quality. I ended up having to draw on my computer when I didn’t even have a drawing tablet and my iPad wasn’t iPad Pro so I couldn’t use procreate. I tried to find a good app for myself but I couldn’t and I felt like I wasn’t gonna be able to do what I love; drawing comics, making fanart and just drawing in general. Then comes ibis; oh the ways in which you can extend the canvas, the way you can put in text, the many different brushes, the easily understandable layering and clipping, the many features that are so easy to use- I love it all. My only regret is that I didn’t find it sooner.

Perfect for my line drawings. I find this app indispensable for line and detail drawing. My favourite brushes are the dip pens in hard and bleed versions. I was really struggling to use Procreate for line drawings, that program feels too much like drawing on glass for me (fine for painting and lettering, but I just can’t get the feel right on Procreate for line drawing). I’ve tried just about every drawing/painting app I could find, and Ibis Paint suits me best for line drawing. I don’t know why, but when I draw using Ibis Paint, I feel like I have more control, and it doesn’t feel as slippery as other programs I’ve tried. I also love that Ibis Paint has so many other great options, but I am giving it 5 stars just for its line drawing ease. I have been desperate to do good line drawings digitally, and they never looked as good as plain pen & paper, until I found Ibis Paint. I thought I’d have to use a matte screen protector to get that real-life feeling of drawing, but was not looking forward to the loss of screen clarity, brightness and colour if I had to do that. Now I don’t have to get a matte screen protector - THANK YOU Ibis Paint!

I love this app it’s amazing it has all these brushes for free! and plus if you don’t have money to buy the ibisPaint pro brushes you can just watch an ad it’s not that simple! Other drawings apps don’t have that. And I love how it gives you instructions really clear. After the tut it was easy and fun. I use it everyday. I edit all my photos with this! Amazing!. Ibis Paint X is an amazing app that works so well with all art! I especially love how all the different brushes can be used for many different things! The only thing I’d like the developers to improve, is that there’s no blend tool, the smudge tool and the blur tool look similar to a blend tool, but they don’t always complete that effect. I’ve found my own ways to blend on this incredible app, but I’d like a way to explore my art skills further with a blend tool. Another thing I’d like to experiment with is animation. I’ve tried many animation apps but none have satisfied me. I’d love if the developers could add a optional animation setting in the app. Ibis Paint X has gotten me into many art styles, editing, watercolour and even learning how to corporate my drawing style into my digital art, so I have to give this exceptionally fantastic app 4 Stars!

Amazing!!. This app is extraordinary and it’s free! Great for any starter digital artist or experienced artist. I love how you can access all the brushes and layers and things for free! All you need to do for the brushes is watch an ad every like 30 hours or so. It’s not for all the brushes, only the watercolour and stamps but usually I only use the normal brushes for my art! This is so easy to use and great for shading, blurring, colouring and drawing. The tools are easy to access and you can easily undo or erase your mistakes! It’s so easy and affordable, not to mention that there’s layers and so many other great free features that aren’t cheap and weird. It’s almost like it’s a paid app but it’s not! I 5 out of 5 recommended!

One of the best free drawing apps. Ok hear me out. I have been using Ibis Paint X since 2018. Only this last year I started using my phone instead of an IPad. I downloaded many drawing apps over the years but nothing has hit better then Ibis. Ibis Paint X is the free version of Ibis Paint. Tbh you don’t need Ibis Paint. Ibis Paint X has everything you need, from unlimited layers, free drawing images to over a quadrillion brushes that you can create and download. Ibis Paint X does have a premium feature that helps remove any ads and let you use all brushes but if you don’t want to pay you can watched an ad and use all of the brushes for free for 18 hours. Some filters need premium but oh well. I love Ibis Paint X, the amazing creators on it who spend their time making brushes that you can download and art for you to view and just the amazing app itself. Thank you Ibis Paint X!

Better than any paid application I’ve used. Ibis paint is good for any artist, beginner or advanced. It has a lot of tools that even a lot of paid applications are missing, and nothing is locked behind a pay wall - you can always just watch an add to unlock it for a short time. Sure, it doesn’t suit everybody, but you’ve got to understand that it’s a free program and you’re getting much more from it than pretty much every other free art program out there. I’ve been using it for two years and i honestly think it has improved my art, especially with the ability to view the popular artwork’s speed paints. The only problems I have with this program are that the front page sometimes has some not-as-appropriate artworks say if a younger user was viewing it, and that this program is only available on mobile. Overall, I love this app and I personally prefer it over paid apps such as procreate or clip studio.

What I think about your game!. It’s a great game and good for sketching and stuff! I don’t have much to say but compliment!s— If only there were instructions when you get this game and start, but other than that it’s 5 star!! Amazinggg!! I love the brushes. Perfect for those low on cash. I have been using this for a couple of years now and it’s great. I used to use ArtStudio but that would glitch all the time and break layers (might as well have deleted the art), but I have yet to have that problem with this app. Different pens which you can edit to fit your style of line work (I’ve finally been able to recreate the lineart style I adore). It’s free and to get all the pens, you just need to watch an ad (I haven’t had an inappropriate ad as of yet). I love how it records at artwork as well, something I’ve used many times as speedpaints on my YT channel. I find it quite simple to use, though it was a bit difficult at first due to me being used to a different app. I’ve definitely improved as an artist and animator while being on this app. My only issue is I wish I could change the size of the icons in the app. The amount of times I’ve pressed the wrong button while aiming for another is quite agitating. I’d also like a few more brushes, specifically ones that help with detailing mountains, clouds and water sources.

Little Suggestion, Amazing App. I love ibis paint! I love to do art as a hobby and hope for one day to make it a career, and ibis paint is really useful for that. The countless brushes and other options are really useful for those ranging from newbies to experts. I just have one small suggestion, really small, and it doesn't really affect most artists. I wish there were more special options, like maybe an easier way to select areas for other stuff, or if clipping could maybe have more options to it. Let's say i'm on my 9th layer, but i need it to connect to my 7th layer, but it has to be above my 8th layer, i can't connect them. If there is a way to do this and i dont know it, please inform me, as i am unaware. If i have pointed out something we dont have, then please put this into consideration if updated! Overall, really great app, and i'd suggest it to anyone who's looking over the app store for it right now.

Really easy to use, free!. Ibis paint is one of the easiest to use and best result drawing app I have ever seen. Another good thing about it is it is free to use, there are hundreds and maybe even thousands of pen types, even made by other people; you can use them all for free (6 hours) just by watching 1 video. There are a lot of different tools, the basic ones, pen, eraser, but also lasso which allows you to select and resize portions of your drawing which is so helpful. They also have a symmetry ruler, grid lines, etc. which are very easy to learn to use. Overall ibis paint is just amazing and I definitely reccomend that you and anyone else uses it. Once you know how to use the tools to suit you, wonderful artwork can be made! Thank you for reading. 😄

Best drawing app ever!. So when I downloaded it, it told me lots about the tools, stuff to do, how to make layers, how to import pictures, how to combine all the layers and more! Even though someone said that when they had it their pictures had blood, then were gone, then there was a golden retriever, and it looked like it had killed 30 people, and had a zipper? Then it put them on another picture with the same golden retriever, but it’s zipper was unzipped and there was a child that looked like it had consumed people. Even though that was a creepy thing to happen to someone, it’s still a very great game! I love it 🥰😍🥰😍🥰😻😻 Please reply to this creator/s and if it meant so much to you since I loved the app and its the best drawing app, please say how much it meant to you.

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Ok so this app is your #1 ideal drawing app, it has all the tools you want. Amazing brushes, the ability to use other peoples brushes, and to make brushes yourself! You can also do SOOOOOOO many other things all for free! I got this because I have gone through like 5 million free drawing apps and none of them had the clipping tool ( except pro create but ahem my parents weren’t going to let me get that ) so pretty much its a free pro create! DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE! Is what I’m saying! The only thing im kinda annoyed about is not the app but I wish it was better with older things because I find it quit glitchy on my old phone but fine on my new ipad but… not your fault :) It still update on my IPhone 5s so ha. Anyway keep doing what you do best this is a great app and keep up the great updates! Will definitely recommend this to other people so stop wasting your money on Procreate and if you really want to waste it on ibis paints pro feature ( I mean most of the stuff is free so don’t worry I was just saying if you have money to burn LOL ) Now peace out ✌️

Amazing but with a slight twist... Honestly, I use this app all the time when it comes to edits or making heartfelt videos on this app is truly amazing and why spend all my money on procreate when Ibispaint is just here. The app is fantastic and all, but me, and along with some other people aren’t really pleased with the new vector update every time when we try to draw, it keeps on saying vector layer added this problem has been resolved by changing the type of pen we use, but I think you should put the vector update somewhere else, so I won’t be a bother to people that want to use the app. Overall this app is will always be my number one editing app And drawing app!

Love it but I really gotta have some help. IbisPaint is an absolutely amazing app it’s addicting,sensational,and flawless. Now I’m a beginner and I’ve only used this app for at least two or three weeks now so I’m very new to everything. Sometimes I have a lot of trouble with some of the things that I wanna do. I also have trouble figuring out what the updates have because the terms are very challenging to understand. If you could maybe put a simpler version of the more challenging words to read in brackets, and maybe an I button in the corner of the screen that can easily explain how to do things within the app I would be very grateful . Overall I love the app it’s amazing and if you could consider this review it would be great.

Amazing and very easy to use. I’ve been using ibis paint X for a while now. It’s completely free and it’s for all artists. I used this even when I hardly did art and was really bad, but this app helped me improve to the point where I can call myself a decent artist! Once you get the basics of the apps, it can become relaxing to do art on ibis paint X. I draw cats mostly, and I’m on an amino challenge to do art every day of October! Ibis paint X helped me improve as an artist and I’m happy to say it’s a brilliant app. I recommend to people who are new to art and want to learn, because that’s how I started, and it hasn’t even been a year and I think I do pretty great art. Easy to use but very annoying. It’s easy to use and handle and it’s ok but the vector layer and the new update or whatever is very VERY annoying, i would use the selection layer to pick what I wanted to colour and then I wouldn’t have to worry about going back to erase what went out of the lines but now if the pent is size 1000 it fills the entire canvas and the vector layer, WHAT DOES IT DO besides prevent the bucket from being used or any filters, ITS SO FRUSTRATING, ibis, GET RID OF IT otherwise I’ll just have to save up my money and get procreate instead seeing as it has so many brushes and I can make my own that ISNT JUST MESSING AROUND WOTH THE SETTINGS I can add pictures do so much stuff and better yet, not having to worry about the stupid adds or whatever and if I recall it has no PROCREATE PRO like ibis paint x has ibis pro like what the hell, I remember when ibis paint x was my number one go to but now I don’t want to go to it fix your app or have one less fan IBIS

Pretty good. Ibispaint is a pretty good app, I have more various choices than my previous art app and have more canvas sizes. I do have a problem or 2. The first one is with the adds. I know that the creator needs a way to make money, but sometimes they get annoying when I mis click and takes me to some random website. Or even just needing to watch an add to use all the paintbrushes for 18 hours or something. My second problem is the bucket or fill. I’m not sue if this is just me, but if I try to fill a section that isn’t outlined or drawn in black, it fills the whole page. So I request being able to fill an area drawn in any colour. Other than that, I don’t have much else to say, if any more problems occur, I’ll make sure to add it in!

I love this app I have drawn over 200 drawings on it and because of that 1000 followers on undertale amino, all 200 drawings and 1000 followers would’ve been possible without it ibisPaint. But I just wanna make a suggestion, could you please ad a feature that is like an album collection, like Apple photos have, just so that I can put all my old drawings into an album and all my favourite ones into another! PLEASE! You might say “well why don’t you just save the video of the drawing and take photos then put it in an photo album” well I don’t have a straight answer, it’s just I always feel bad and uneasy when doing that, I feel like I can never edit it and make the video flawless as well as the drawing. It just makes me feel uneasy. Anyway thanks ibisPaint! Keep up the good work and please take my suggestion into consideration! I don’t even mind if it cost premium I’ll get it! (In fact I already have it cause this apps awesome for artist!)

Pretty awesome!. Lost of features come for free and if you want to unlock more you just watch a 30s video, it can help you create quite high quality and professional looking drawings while the controls are still really easy to find your way around in comparison to some other apps. I absolutely adore that they added an animation feature, I wish we had more options for canvas size for free. But I understand some features have to be paid for the app to be successful. I just wish we got all three of basic ratios and had only the custom canvas size premium, but oh well. Also PLEASE PLEASE LET US IMPORT AUDIOS WITH THE ANIMATION TRACK MULTIPLE OTHER ANIMATION APPS HAVE IT AND IT WOULD BE SO HELPFUL PLESE. But to be fair the animation feature is still relatively new so hopefully it gets added eventually. Overall great app, has some flaws like any app but doesn’t have too many ads and has good features for the free version!

I love I IbisPaint X. I like this game because it doesn’t really charge anything, it may have been free on the App Store but some other ‘free’ drawing platforms do charge real money for brushes and other stuff with real money but this one doesn’t charge for anything besides adds free. I fully understand that some people don’t like the add on top as I’ve got to admit looks kind of cheap. This doesn’t really make a difference for me. This was the first drawing app I’ve ever used in my life, this was suggested to me by my neighbour. It was so good that I actually considered sticking to it, and I did. I don’t regret my decision one bit. This app has brought out my inner artist, I’m not an official artist or anything but I think this is a brilliant starter for young artist’s like me. Turns Music Off. I love this app!! I’ve had it for well over 5+ years now, and it’s one I’d suggest to artists over and over again. Nothing is hidden behind a paywall, just a simple ad to obtain the brushes for 24 hours, which you can do again and again, and it supports the app and keeps it free! My only beef is that, and I assume it’s the ads, that if you accidentally swipe near it, or ANYTHING really, it turns your music off. I work best with music playing, it helps me get lost in what I’m doing. But when it constantly bothers my music, all it does is frustrate me and make me leave my work altogether for hours, or days on end. Now, I can afford to get rid of the ads and was considering doing so for the sake of letting my music continue playing while working, but for those who can’t, this would be a huge issue. I think that needs to be fixed; this never used to be a problem so somewhere along the line an update messed with it, which is unfortunate. It’s just so frustrating that I can’t give 5 stars. If it were fixed, then I’d have no trouble giving five stars, because this app is absolutely wonderful otherwise!

THIS APP IS AMAZING!!. I luv dis cuz it helps make videos for my yt channel. I know many other people who also use this app! I also like using this app to try drawing hacks, trends and when drawing with friends. Ive tried multiple different drawing apps but they were so bad compared to ibisPaint x! You need multiple subscriptions in the other apps just to draw but its nowhere near worth it but with ibisPaint x you dont need to buy anything to draw!! It has so many selections of brushes and you can share your artworks around the globe!! IbisPaint x also has a yt channel which will teach you how to draw and use the app if your new or need a little hand in drawing. And i know for a fact that artist use this app bc one day i was at a restaurant and saw someone drawing using ibisPaint x. I couldnt take my eyes off of the drawing of a dragon they were working on! There will be a button that say “watch a video and get all brushes for free for 18 hours!” And it actually gives you the brushes. Also my fav one is air brush 40%. Great Drawing Software. This is an amazing program to use for beginners and even for non-beginner artists. There are a nice wide variety of brushes, layouts, filters and affects, it’s basically the compulsory things you’d need to draw. However, since it is free; you’d have to watch an add to unlock certain brushes and also there is constantly an add either on the top or bottom of the screen while drawing. And, while all the brushes available are good, I think we’d need more blending and smudge-like brushes other than the add ons (the smudge and blur add on) also brushes with a cleaner touch that aren’t always pressure pointed but that also don’t look like the digital brush. Overall app is really good, I highly recommend it. Getting used to it doesn’t take long and is quite easy, and you can explore the different assets of the app :)

[TLDR] I loved this app but I have to delete it 😭. Clip studio keeps closing Whenever I try to open my slightly bigger artworks (around 2000 to 3900 or some slight variation between the two measurements) with only like 5 layers (which is my new max) , one time my artwork couldn’t even load the preview so I had to redo it by tracing over the EXTREMELY pixelated screenshot I took, I really want to keep using this app as it is so user friendly, it’s got so many brushes you can get from one advertisement, you can customise and make your own brushes, there’s layers, it’s just so great... but I don’t think I can deal with the stress of possibly losing my artwork or having to remember to save the individual layers on my camera roll so I don’t lose my layers through it refusing to load and having to redo everything with a screenshot

Great app! Just one small complaint.. This app works great for beginners and pros. It is very easy to use and you get used to it quite quickly (may depend from person to person). I use an apple pencil to draw on my iPad, and here is where my small complaint comes into place. I'm very careful about what I draw so I tend to scribble in the same place for a bit to get a shape that I am happy with. Though, when I do that, it always does the eyedropper thing, which is annoying when I am working on a drawing. It happens constantly, and it does delay my drawing a lot. Either way, amazing app. I would suggest this to any artist.

App is sooo useful. THE BEST DRAWING APP! (In my opinion). The best free drawing app I have ever used. It is easy to use, it has basically all the tools you need for drawing (smudge, blur, lasso and much more). It also has so so soo many different brushes! Would definitely recommend to a beginner artist! I have been drawing for about 2 years or longer and I have really been into drawing ALOT so it’s been amazing and the quality! The quality is amazing and for me (idk if it is on other devices) it is never pixilated and never blurry when I haven’t used the blue brush or imported an image into the app which isn’t blurry! Another thing is you can import images really really easily! You just click on the layers thing then when it shows a mini version of you artwork it has a few buttons to press on. You just press on the camera and choose the photo you want to import. The last thing im going to say is… THERE IS EVEN A TIMELAPSE! The Timelapse is great to see a video of your artwork being created! The one piece of feedback which I have (unless it is already on the app which I don’t know of) is being able to favourite or have a seperate tab for in-progress arts or your favourite ones. 💕So Good💕. Honestly, I didn’t give much thought to actual art when I first downloaded this app. I was mostly looking for some place to bring forward my ideas and thoughts. But after going through the tutorial and messing around with the pens, I ended up finding myself a new hobby-online art. These pens and pencils are so easy to use, and just a couple of swipes can create a masterpiece. It works with Apple pens as well, which means this an efficient way to draw on a iPad. I’d only suggest different types of rubbers, instead of making the rubber s have the qualities of the pens you use. For example, instead of a rubber that fades your strokes like an airbrush, just have a size adjustable rubber around.

Great app!!. This is a great app. I’ve been using it for 4 years now, it’s easy to use and it’s easy to figure out how everything works. I have made such great art on this app although lm a little disappointed for only one reason for 3 of the 4 years I’ve had this app you could colour the serfs you want to colour and it wouldn’t go over the stuff you have already drawn. But now when you have drawn on a serfs and then go to colour it you go over the stuff you have already drawn and it’s very annoying if they could fix’s this problem that would be great I’m still gonna rate the app 5 starts cause other than that it’s incredible.

Amazing app<3. I love this app, you can also u it with an apple pencil! They have all kind of brushes and tools, it’ll get easier to recognise where things are once you know them, there might be some adds but it’s worth it if u want to get all free pens:) I honestly like this app very much, to be honest. I wonder if they can add anything else, i pretty see everything in it, well not much pfft. They give u instructions which i don’t see much in digital drawing apps so i think this is honestly good:). There might be some bugs letting you out of the app, but you’ll get your drawing back, although you cant go back, so this is by u always need layers:)). Awesome overall. IbisPaint is the best to use when it comes to making artwork. I am a Gacha creator which is where you can make mini movies ,edits and more out of Japanese style anime characters that you design. I make edits so I use this to edit my oc. So it is perfect. It has all the right colours I would say every single colour. It is easy to find the right colour with the colours the wheel. It gives you a place to store colours you will use frequently so that’s a bonus. You also have lots of paintbrushes and etc to use to draw. I think over 200! I use a brush called ‘dip pen soft’ to outline and colour. There’s more extra things as well. Transform: moves the selected layer around Magic wand: the selected area will be the only area you can edit Lasso: lasso an area to edit Filter: lots of filters Brush: to paint Eraser: to erase Smudge: smudges the layer and you can also pick different smudges. Etc: hair I use hair to smudge my ocs hair Blur: blurs the area Special: 4 types of smudges that are different go try them Bucket: colours the whole area Text: text Frame divider: divides areas Eye dropper: finds the exact colour of a photo Canvas: canvas base Bye ! -Daisy 12

Sooo Good!. This app is amazing, I would totally recommend this to everyone. But the thing is, when I was reading some of the bad reviews, they said it was “too complicated”, I can see why they said this, but the thing is that different people like using different materials to draw, so it just lets people be different and creative. At first it may be a bit overwhelming at the amount of different things you can do, but it just gets easier from there, I’ve done some drawings on this app and I find it a lot easier than real drawing. Another thing people say is bad is the fact that everyday new top 10 arts are published or people to see and think that they will never improve, but the thing is, it is kind of depressing seeing that other people can draw so good, while I don’t make much of a change, you could fix this by only seeing the top 10 when you click to see the online gallery. But again, it’s really good and I would recommend this to many, many, people.

Artwork corrupted. Please fix issue… I’ve accidentally touched some sort of button on which turned my artwork into some glitchy mess…. as I would’ve loved to give app a solid 5 stars considering I’ve been using it for almost 5 years now, but since my 40+ hrs artwork got corrupted and now it seems like I can’t restore it as it originally appeared before the accidentally click …. Please fix this bug as I really do love using this app and it’s awful for all my hard work to just disappear.

Ads act like they’re playing audio when they’re not.. It keeps on pausing my music apps every few seconds, the program is REALLY good, but it has a music issue. 5 stars if it gets fixed.

It’s good but-. I have the IPhone XR, wish ITunes playing in the background while I draw. And when I’m drawing, the music will randomly stop around every 7-15 seconds. It rarely lets me play music without it pausing. Otherwise the app itself is good and I’ve been very happy with it.

I love it. Ibis Paint X is a great software for all artists beginner or not, has great brushes that all you have to do to get them is watch an ad and you have them for the day. It’s very simple to use and get used to. I love this app!

Weird glitch since the update. Ever since the Dec 23 2022 update, there is a weird glitch that whenever you flip your canvas, your layers (line art, colouring, shading, etc) all begin to distort and stretch. 😰 It puts me on edge because what if I end up ruining my drawing I worked hours on because I flipped my canvas and it ultimately disfigures all my layers.

Update is causing issues. I love this app and have had no problems with it so far (that haven’t been user error) but since updating the app freezes every few seconds when drawing :( it happens so often that the app is almost unusable

Best drawing app so far!!!. It's the only drawing app as amazing as this as I could find, although it's sometimes hard to find stuff, I would give it 4.5 stars if I could! Also it would be easier to use with a shape maker, especially for circles.

Gone. All my art is gone. I had to change Apple ID and now that I did that I had to uninstall some apps and ibis paint being one of them. Are you SERIOUS there is NO WAY to save art? All my hard work is gone because of that. What the hell am I supposed to do about my many hard work drawings now that they are all gone? I can’t just redraw all that!

I like it but something is wrong. When I first started using it I was obsessed, but for some reason it wouldn’t let me in anymore and just keeps loading and loading. I’ve tried deleting it and reinstalling it, I’ve tried waiting until the next day, I’ve tried everything I can think of. I really like it and recommend it, but for some reason the dam app won’t start! Plz tell me if there’s a way to get in. I just want to draw again! Edit: after reading over the reviews I’ve found that some other people can’t edit too and it just stays on the loading screen. Can you plz fix this bug? Perfect for Beginners. IbisPaintX is genuinely a really good digital art app, especially for beginning/new artists. I’ve been drawing my whole life, but I only started to do more digital works a little over 2 years ago and I can see just how much I’ve improved. Ibis is pretty simple and is easy to learn and it has some pretty good tools that’ll help with artworks. The app is completely free, but there are some in-app purchases you can make to get more brushes (if you don’t want to pay, then you can watch an add and you’ll get them for free for 18 hours) or other abilities. What I like is that you don’t need to buy anything to actually draw (which is an issue I faced when I first tried to get a “free” art app). You can post your drawings on the website too and everyone is super supportive! I do wish the bucket tool was a little better of course, but other than that I don’t really have any problems or complaints. In conclusion, great app and I has helped me and many other beginners a lot when first starting out digital art. Amazing app with an amazing community!

Best art game but... Hello! This is a amazing art game. I’ve been playing on this app for almost 4 years and right now I’m 13. As I’ve grown older I started to realize that there needs some things that needs improvements. For example..I really love using the “Dip Pen (Soft)” and the “Pen (Fade)” brushes for my line art though..I’m just wondering you could add a new brush that can fade and brush? Like a brush where you can fade it, but then you can also change it to a different brush in the settings? That’s all I’m asking. Oh! And, I also wanted to tell you that whenever I’m drawing and coloring, it suddenly takes me to my iPad screen and when I go back inside it takes me to the Start of the game which restarted it. So when I go back to my art I can’t erase a mistake I did. Another thing that annoys me is that when I’m drawing my screen sometimes suddenly freezes so If I leave the game and come back it restarts the game and It works, then freezes again. So I shut down my whole iPad and wait for 10 minutes. That part really annoys me.. so I’m just wondering if you can do something to fix that! Though..I’m sure it’s only a bug so you can simply fix it? I’m not asking much, just want you to fix the bug! :)

Very Soothing and Fun. I LOVE this app, you can make endless creations, and there are just so many things to do to what you make. I really enjoy watching other professionals make such satisfying art. It makes me think about how I would be able to do that if I was trained! I really enjoy it and I started not too long ago, but I’m already understanding and everything, so it’s all very easy! I didn’t even get the app too long ago, but I am in love already. I would definitely s app to anyone else who wants to reduce stressor draw anything out of the ordinary. I deeply appreciate whoever created this app, and I want the to know that I love this app and play it every day now! I saw the ads and fell in love. Now, I’m making masterpieces from late at night to early in the morning. Thank you for this app, and your welcome for playing it! Love it but..... Sometimes when I’m using the app I can listen to my podcast or music at the same time but recently sometimes I start playing it while using the app and then the my thing stops I keep pressing play over and over again but it keeps stoping if they would fix that it would be a perfect 5 star but overall I love the game I’m always trying on what to do next I love how you can import photos to trace and to use as in inference it is really simple when you get the hang of it and explore the app I love how you can put different layers so you don’t have to worry about covering the lines with color but also the ads I know you are trying to promote and all but do you have to put and add saying if want more space and this ad removed then pay it’s like really you already have to pay for brushes which I don’t mind because you need to make money you have family’s I don’t mind that you have to pay for brushes but please get rid of the want more space ad it is really unnecessary and annoying just put a regular ad there at least those are more entertaining. But overall love the app you should download it but get ride of the ad and let me play my music/podcast whenever I want.

Reasons why Ibis paint x is awesome.. I've been drawing via digital art for 2-3 years now and honestly, I'd prefer this app over any of the others I have ever used. This app is very good advertisement wise and doesn’t smother you with ads every five seconds. Speaking of advertisements,I love the fact that you don’t need to watch an ad for every pen or brush you would like to unlock... instead if you watch one ad to unlock a brush, it unlocks all of the locked brushes for 18+ hours. That is the main reason why I find this digital drawing app so different from the others! If you decide to read the reviews and see mine I advise that you download ibisPaint X instead of procreate or any of the others that you see... despite the fact that I’ve never actually ever used procreate... A friend of mine had bought procreate a while back when she first started digital art, and she said that procreate was nice but it was very complicated for her to use and navigate. she said that ibis paint X is more easier for her to use and navigate through. So honestly if you were to see and read my review; I would suggest that you download and use ibisPaint X if you are a beginner!

A Good App But Many Minor Flaws. I have ibis Paint for 3-4 years now and I got It because a BestFriend (Now Ex-Bestie)recommened It to me, she was pretty good at drawing so I tried it out for my self and got the hang of it after a month and a half. The game started being a little... weird after a while of using it. Brushes can't all be free? I get sick off waiting for the ads to be over after going to use it for one use. Bucket. The Bucket is good but the bucket goes into places It shoulden't be in. Its getting annoying just undoing and having it cover up the line work that took so long to work on. This is a really big problem. The Magic wand is honesty almost bad, It has no idea how to work right because everytime it would glitch out and this is getting boring to color in the spots I want focus on. Lag and Age, why age? This is just weird and I feel like this is tracking me, same as in disturbing ads for this game! Kids lean over to see this on my screen and my mom looks aswell. I have tested multipule games for this and when I'm drawing I this is the only game that goes completely insane with my two fingers trying to undo some simple common mistake. This is the only things I have to say for now.

Great for getting into digital art. I’ve been wanting to get into digital art for a while now but doing it on the computer isn’t easy. I like to trace over photos I’ve taken of sketches I draw in my sketchbook. While I can email those images to myself to get it on my computer it’s so much easier to just do it on my phone. I own a drawing tablet to connect to my computer but it’s definitely a learning curve. Meanwhile just drawing on my phone is so much easier! The app is very simple and easy to use. I’m sure there are more tools and ways I can use it that I haven’t explored yet. I also like to use the app for simple photo editing like removing background or drawing over a photo. I definitely recommend this app to anyone looking to get into digital art. Update: It has been years since I first got this app for my phone. I now have a iPad and an apple pen and can say the app is even more useful! I know lots of people often use procreate but I find this app easier to use and you can test it out for free. I definitely will be buying the full version, especially because it is so cheap.

Five stars. Five stars because I’ve been drawing in this for like three or likes yeah like three years and I really really like the game. And this is like my first time like playing I like this game is like every single day I play for like like two hours though and also when I’m like very very quiet and secretively I love and joy a lot of realistic photos and are you like been using that for long timeAnd it’s like in a very good like experience experience because I love this game I like it because it’s like a really nice game and you like can draw stuff on it and it burns like me to calm down the drive feels like he’s got a feeling and it’s like a nice game and I really like it and it continues to make me smile every single day because this game is like my favorite game so this is like something that I like good at drawing because it doesn’t know but this app give me like an experience like you happy and I like it and I am really happy that I got came like this on my iPad because then I won’t have to worry about like the pan is coming on self so that’s like a big cools me down and I give it a five star because of that

Amazing!. This app is amazing! When editing photos this is my go to app, but I do have a few suggestions but before I tell those I just want to say that some of the brushes are malfunctioning such as not working or even not switching over also my app crashed in the middle of editing and it didn’t save my edit that took four hours to get where I was at idk if it’s just a bug or what. So for the suggestions I suggest that to buy the brushes you should have an option to only buy I single brush because I don’t wanna pay money for brushes I won’t use and perhaps to buy all brushes lower the price! And for some brushes I think you should be able to do an ombré effect or use multiple colors at once. Also when using the magic wand I think you should make it to where you can use brushes while using the magic wand still on because when I’m doing shadows I don’t know where one place is so I end up overlapping my colors, that’s all I can really think of at the moment but yeah I love this app in general just could use some tweaking!

seriously the best illustration app. ibisPaint has literally every single feature you could possibly want in a drawing app for mobile. It has a plethora of brushes, so whatever the style it can surely provide. It has various effects and layer modes, as well as screen tones for manga artists. The effects are especially useful, they really help give your drawing that finishing touch if it needs it. The UI has progressively become a lot more simplified which I really loved. When I used it for the first time my biggest gripe was how confusing it was to navigate the app, and honestly it still kind of is because of how jam-packed it is. But honestly, the more you use it the easier it becomes to navigate so it’s not a problem for me anymore. There’s just one thing; I really wish there was pressure sensitivity for the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11. I didn’t want to get the iPhone X just because it’s the same price as the iPhone 11 and the 11 is obviously the better phone, but I can’t use the pressure sensitivity function on it despite it having 3D Touch. I was hoping this would be resolved in the last update but it wasn’t so I’m bringing it up here.

Very Awesome !. I’ve been using Ibis for about almost a year and it’s very easy to use because of the simplicity of the interface and convenience of tutorials. While the pro version has many perks and exciting features, the standard version still provides the features I’d typically be looking for. The only thing I would recommend is the ability to adjust your drawing’s time-lapse viewing, such as be able to rewind and skip ahead, because I don’t really like having to watch the entirety of the time-lapse when I’m just looking for a certain part (of course you can pause or exit but I mean the entirety of the process before the part I would be looking for). It’s default setting is the fastest speed but sometimes it can still seem a little slow, especially when the piece took a while to make. The only way to be able to adjust the speed and make it faster is to export the drawing as a time-lapse video, but I would find it more convenient for a feature such as this to be included in the app. But that’s just a personal recommendation, the app itself is great! Best free art app. I love this app it’s so easy to use and even has a tutorial for new users. I’ve been using this app for years and I’ve had zero issues with it. I love how you can share your art on here and meet other artists. I also appreciate being able to use it without having an account so new users don’t have to go through a whole logging in process just to draw. You only need an account to post and comment which I understand. I only wish that when you upload your art on here it should automatically watermark your work. I think they should add this so other people can’t just screen record someone else’s artwork and post it as theirs on some other platform. Since when you upload your art it also uploads a Timelapse along with it. I haven’t posted my own art on here because people do steal others art and it’s sad. Back to the good things though, I love how the app is constantly getting new updates allowing the users to try new things. I also love how users can create their own brush and use it for free. I will keep using this app for years! 💕😸

I Love It!. This app is AMAZING! But there are some things that I think could be improved. There are plenty of brushes but the “Dip pen hard” Will expand a ton unless you use the stabilizer with force fade! All I ask is to turn down the expansion because it can be kind of annoying. Next, I make animations and I need to use a ton of apps to make just one, Please add an animation system because it could be really useful! Something else, When I use “Clipping” And make a layer on top and go over the clipped layer it shows the clipped layer extras and it’s annoying. Also again, I make animations and when I remove the entire background to a drawing (by using the magic wand and cutting it) and also saving it as a transparent PNG, then when I put the picture into the animation, there’s still a white background! I don’t know if this is a problem with my phone, or if it’s a problem with the app I use for animating, or if it’s because of ibisPaint x. This happens quite often and I don’t know if I’m doing anything wrong, or if it’s a problem in the app. Other than those things, this app is great! I definitely recommend it!

This needs some work. Hi. I’ve been a user of Ibis Paint for roughly five years now. I’ve been using it for all of my artistic needs and, even though some brushes are blocked by a paywall that you can bypass for a day by watching an ad, it’s a pretty good app. However, I have some small issues with the app. For one, I think it’d be great if you could give us folders for different types of brushes (so like, stamps in one place, digital brushes in another, etc.). It’s make finding them easier. Along with this, you should also add a search bar so people can look up key terms so they can find the brush they want. The second things I’d like to address is that sometimes I get lag spikes. This would be fine by itself... if it didn’t also affect my music. Now, this could also partially be the fault of my music app I use, but every time the app lags, my music pauses. Due to the frequency of these pauses, I can’t listen to my music and draw, which is something I very much need to focus on my art. It happens at least three times per song, and it has only been doing this recently. If you could find a way to stop it, that’d be greatly appreciated.

If you are into editing art, get it!. Ava‘s pain is a game that you’re able to take photos and then edit the photos. End it doesn’t have to be with photos you could just make your own picture! Are usually edit my Gacha photos, and they turned out amazing get ibisPaint it’s the best editing game ever! And for your gotcha photos that you want to edit, if you wanna like it fade in the eyes like purple like I do and like TikTok does, and if you get it out of the line anyone you erase it there’s a special thing to do that. So you go on the right corner you pick up the snap that you pick to add the photo and then you click the + sign. Then you click eyedropper and click on that I and then you could change it to whatever color you like and fade and if you need it erase it somewhere you can FaceTime without erasing the picture to then you click eyedropper and click on that I and then you could change it to whatever color you like and fade and if you need it erase it somewhere you can erase it without erasing the picture to!

I mean. It’s good especially for beginner artists who don’t want the difficulty of getting started and learning the basics of professional art apps. If you don’t want to make an in app purchase you just have to watch one add and you can basically do anything! There is ads but you can pay to get rid of them or ignore them, there not pop up ads that cover up your whole screen there usually at the top of the screen. I usually never even notice them anyway. It’s amazing ibis paint never crashes for me and I have absolutely 0 complaints wonderful!!! So many things you can do Yet not too complicated I would like to see more updates on the app but honestly absolutely amazing! I recommend this to anyone I’m at a point where I am no longer a beginner artist but don’t want to move on to more professional costly digital art apps. People might not like ibis paint because of the limited brushes but if it’s going to be for beginner artists I think it’s just fine I use at least 2 to 3 brushes and I’m fine with that amount and they have a lot more than 2 to 3 brushes. Blah blah blah definitely don’t want to let go of this app!!!

An Incredible App. I’ve used this app for almost two years now, and I have to say, IbisPaint has to be the best digital art app I’ve come across on the App Store. It has so many brushes and tools that most other apps don’t have, and you can watch an ad to get more brushes for 18 hours! I once used Autodesk Sketchbook and (no offense to that app) IbisPaint just had so much more tools and I use brushes there that aren’t in many other apps. Two years ago I wanted to start digital art and I was happy when I found this. I use this app to make backgrounds for my animations, and of course draw. I’ve made really astonishing things that look professional with this app. One thing I would like to be added is an animation feature because I think I could produce some high quality animations with this app and it has so many tools. Maybe if there were a button on the tool bar that said Animation and it would switch to an animation format with the usual amount as layers as you would when drawing. Overall, I think this is a stunning app and I would recommend it to anyone who likes art.

Very good coloring app impressed. So right off the bat you can tell this app is good because most others don’t allow coloring over pictures but right when I hit the plus to get the canvas I want it showed select image not only that but you can choose what size canvas you want like if you want it thin like a banner then you can make it thin or if you want it like somewhat in the middle thin and bag like a flag then you can do that or you can make a huge canvas so that’s a good feature also theres more though this is more common on drawing apps but the eye dropper if your coloring over an image and you want it to look perfect and you don’t want to be mixing colors until you have the color that the color you need on the photo you chose looks like then you can just hold and release on the color on the photo choose the option paintbrush make it thick or thin then zoom in if needed and color that image and do that until the canvas is full of color to the creators of this app great job and merry Christmas to anyone reading this wondering if you should download this or not I think you should I highly recommend it for you

Very satisfied!. This is very compatible! Well first of all, if you are looking for a positive and good opinion then this is the review for you! Let me start. I don’t have an Apple pen and this is very flexible for my fingers! It works very easily with my bare hands. So, if you are afraid that your lines will be messy if you don’t have a pen, it’s perfectly fine. There’s even a stabilizer in the app which makes it even better! Next, there are a big variety of textured brushes! Now, i’m not complaining about this but i’m just giving a heads up. Not all brushes you can use for free. If you don’t get premium, some brushes will be locked with big, orange locks. The only way you can unlock them is with an ad. But, here’s the catch and it’s a good one! When you watch an ad, it gives you a free usage for 18 hours! Talk about a good deal! And not just 18 hours free on the brush you watched the ad on, for all the other pens! Now this is something ALL artists need when making art work which they have. Layers and Shape tools. Are you sold now? If not, still give it a try. You may have a potential you might not even know yet!

Gacha is perfect for this, drawing too! Just one little mistake :/. I love this wonderful game! There’s many activities! I know how to do all of them because of how easy it is, and your tutorials! Gacha is perfect, and I mean PERFECT for this! It totally helps edit in many ways and got me to more then 100 subscribers! I enjoy the game way too much and I use it too much! I also love drawing on the app and how easy it is to just watch ONE add for all that time for THOSE pens and you don’t need any “free trial” or “premium” to use those! It’s a amazing game! And I’m glad I found this game out! However...Just ONE mistake (this might not be a mistake I just can’t figure it OUT!!!) So, I add the circle tool to make the PERFECT circle! But I don’t know how to delete the circle, and because of that problem, I can’t write in a straight line in what-so-ever. It doesn’t let me! And I don’t know how to erase that subject circle! A 2020 reveiw (just incase they solve my one problem). Ibis Paint is one of the best drawing apps on the iPad that you can get for free. The new update solved one of my lingering problems of folders and the new brushes are great. With that there’s many brushes to choose and you can customize those brushes. Most special brushes are blocked by the subscription of 2.99 a month, but I’d recommend getting it. It’s cheap and unlocks more, editing, brushes, and fonts that improve the drawing experience. It also works with Bluetooth styluses and a simple stylus on a normal writing pen can work too. My only problem is making backing up artwork easier, weather making an account or a bulk download. Though, after taking the time to save about 100 pieces through dropbox on my iPad, it didn’t take too long, so it isn’t a big problem just something I’d like. Other than that Ibis Paint is AMAZING for art or edits since it has the tools you need for that too. Try it out annd give it a go, I’m sure it’ll at least be great for art until you get a full drawing tablet, but even then I’d say that it’d be great after getting a tablet.

This app is Great!. This is a really amazing app for beginners and experienced digital artists. It’s a very easy app to get used to, the tools and mechanics of the app are very high quality and there are plenty of brushes to use for free. For a free app it also is very enjoyable to use, ads aren’t in your face 24/7 and you can use all brushes for 18 hours after watching about two ads. Importing your own brushes is free, and easy to find/use. The new animation feature is also amazing and easy to use, other animation apps that I use for free are almost always janky for me and hard to use/learn. So when they added the animation function to ibisPaint I was overjoyed, since I already knew how to use the app well and it was easy to learn/use. This app is amazing, the quality and functionality is extremely impressive and I couldn’t recommend this for beginner digital artist and experienced artists as well. This app is also great for digital comic and manga artist so if that’s something you’re into; this app is great for that too. This app is a must have for digital artist who want a free digital art program, and I couldn’t recommend more.🩷

LITERALLY the best. if i could marry ibis paint i would. if you get this app you won’t be disappointed. i’ve been using it for a few years now, and it never fails to impress me!! it’s really simple to use, good for beginner artists, but has an entire arsenal of advanced tools for professionals. it works better, faster, and more effectively than all of the other mobile and even PC apps that i have drawn with- and guess what, it’s FREE!!! (i bought the no ads + all brushes access though. one time i found a way to get paid brushes for free and shared it with the community and it got patched a week later LOL.) it is constantly being updated and has so many features that make your drawing life SO easy. the devs upload countless tutorials and do great getting rid of minor annoyances in the app!! especially the most recent update, my eyes went wide when i read it. finally we can transform folders!! in short ibis paint is AMAZING and you won’t be disappointed. even the free version is more than enough to get you far in digital art. have fun drawing!!

Been using for years and will continue to do so. I absolutely love this app, I literally only have two complaints and one is just a personal bias. I have been drawing ever since I could remember and finding this app has been amazing. I’ve used procreate and other drawing apps, but I always came back here. It’s easy to use, learn how to use, and has wide variety of brushes and tools. A complaint I have is I personally don’t like the use of ads in a “free” app so I ended up caving and just paid for all the brushes, as I got really impatient. I used to be able to make very large canvases with no issues but after some update it began to lag when I made one for no apparent reason? Those are my only complaints as the pros definitely outweigh the cons for me^^ I haven’t made a large canvas in a while so it may have been fixed. Also the new animation feature is amazing!! Ever since I heard it was happening I have been absolutely hyped and since using it I have to say, it exactly what I expected! Easy to use, easy to edit, and easy to just animate overall! I love it! Just a few suggestion!. I LOVE ibis paint! It’s a really fun editing app and It’s just amazing! I edit my Gacha stuff in it and it’s fun! Now just a few suggestions! The first one is that I wish that when your drawing with your finger can you make it look it bit more better like it’s not so touch sensitive? Second, I wish that when your using magic wand and you want to cut a section out but it either gets a whole ENTIRE section or does not get all of it so you have to erase it and whenever you cut something from a green screen or what ever it’s NEVER clean, I just wish you could fix that, it might only be a bug for me so I’m sorry if I’m offending any one! The final suggestion is that I wish that you didn’t have to buy a paintbrush or watch the add, I might be the only one saying this because I’m lazy 😅 But it just saves more time for the person to get back to editing and then you can just choose a paint brush! Agin, this could ONLY be for me so please don’t take this offending! Any way, that is all I wish you could fix! The app is so good and keep up the amazing and astonishing work! ❤️

I would like to add things, but overall wonderful!. I love this app, it helps me with my virtual drawing ability, it’s also social! I never expected for me to see comics also. This has been a great experience for my time in, ibispaint X I would like to add some things..if you would like to know keep on reading….. I would like to add, a friending resource, I have made some friends, so I putted in my DESC, my friends! Nothing seems to be wrong with this, although in my opinion I think that we should add a friending resource, so we can stop putting it in our DESC, and waste letters! I also want to add, something like a, popular comic(s)(today,yesterday,etc,etc)section! In the online gallery I’m bored, I want to see more popular stuff, I feel like this can help me find more, “popular” comics. Also, please, add even if a drawing/edit is traced, make the bucket work better, it would help me, I’ve tried what the tutorial did, but it didn’t work, it just made it worser, I use coloring brushes because of this situation, can you fix it? Helpful but literally cannot be used. Okay, I’ve been using Ibis for a couple years now. It has helpful brushes and is a decent mobile app for drawing. However, the constant bugging and glitching, the countless times my files have crashed and become unrecoverable, it’s getting ridiculous. I was never planning to review this app but I began a drawing a week ago that has 6 hours of active work put into it. I had to make 4 canvases to keep drawing as I’d just save the last thing I had from the prior one and import it into a new canvas because it wouldn’t let me open or edit the old one. This, of course, removes my ability to use any layers I had prior. I’ve now had to move onto a 5th canvas and I cannot even open this canvas that has nothing on it without the app crashing. And don’t even let me begin to mention the adds. You can’t listen to music on the same device as your drawing, the adds make it unhearable. There is ALWAYS one at the bottom of the screen. If you don’t allow tracking across other apps the pop up shows up every time you open the app. Etc. Overall, it could definitely work, but until they fix the crashing and bugs it will never be useful to almost anyone in comparison to the other apps out there with the same purpose. Don’t download this app till it gets fixed, find a better one.

Adding Text is WAY Too Hard. I love this app and everything about it the brushes, the aids, and everything else… except the adding text. I feel like being able to control the font size better and being able to move the text box easier would help a lot. If I expand the text box size the words expand to which is frustrating and this app is the only drawing app that one’s this. Sometimes I just want to set how much space I want without the font changing. And then I have to zoom in really close to be able to move the box. Now I could of made a mistake but this makes it really hard for me to make my comic text. I have brain issues so my handwriting is out of control so I can’t write it out I have watched a whole bunch of videos online on how to fix this but you can’t so help a guy out and fix this because currently I have to do text on a different app and that is a pain so unless there is something I am missing idk what to do. I hope I don’t sound angry I just am confused and stressed so if you could help me out that would be great. But I know this is just one comment and I don’t expect you to change anything I just would like some resources that I can look to so I can figure this out THANK YOU and have a delightful day/evening/night

my ibisPaint X opinion! ✨. ibisPaint X is a wonderful app! Whether your new to art or skilled at art this app is right for you! I’ve had this app for about 2 years now and I started off super bad with art and where I am now, I’m so happy in myself, I’ve gotten so good at art I can draw practically anything! Once I saw my drawing on the “Daily Ranking” and it was ranked 2nd place! I’m so proud of myself and I think its worth buying! Next, about the brushes. You have to unlock brushes with money, but it lets you unlock all brushes (they have like a million) for 18 hours! I love that you added that! Ads: They have like zero ads! Sometimes they’re might be an add, but most the time there are zero! If you wanna unlock all brushes for 18 hours you have to watch an ad, and thats ok! Honestly, this app is awesome! Fantastic!! 🐸🌸. I really love this app cuz of its tools and brushes. But the thing is that I don’t like that you have to watch ad if you want to get a brush, but don’t want to pay for it. And I don’t like that there is a ad on the top cuz if there wasn’t a ad there I think it could’ve had more space. But I like that you can make your own colors and don’t have to pick colors from a really poor color pallet. I would say if you are looking for a app where you see your work and go back to edit your art then you should get this app. I also like where you can name your art and that you can put photos in your art. I love how you can also put as many layers as you want. I hope that you will get this app but there are a few things that I don’t like, like I said I don’t really like how you have to watch a ad for some stuff but I do like how you can use it for 18 hours for free. But over all this app is really good and I would recommend it to any type of arts. And one more thing is that I really really love how you can save your art to your photos without having to pay for it.

Lot To Offer!. This app really does have quite a lot to offer as far as choice of pallets and patterns and raw-pure creativity. There are a few things that could be improved and added, however I haven’t seen a comparable app yet that is-FREE! That’s what sets this up and out the most from any other one in the App Store. The fact that it is a free download and you can have access to their entire broad range of brushes and schemes and tools all by watching just one advertisement. Literally just by watching one 30second advertisement unlocked everything for 18 hours! That’s pretty fair, actually it’s more than generous. It did take me just a little time to figure it out and how to use it but it became a breeze after just taking a few minutes to figure out how it all worked. Really good job to the creators and definitely do look forward to experiencing what these developers do with this app. Is it for everyone? Well you’ll have to download it and give it a shot. Who know you might be like me and get surprised by how well this app functions. Definitely recommend using a “pen” or stylus because it enhances everything quite perfectly. 👍

great!. I’ve been using this app for about two years, and so far it has been amazing! Out of all the drawing apps i’ve used in the past, this one is at the top of the list for my favorites. Of course, like almost all apps, there are some problems or things that could be a little better BUT that definitely doesn’t stop you from creating amazing art pieces. This app is GREAT for designing room/decor ideas and recreating your favorite characters from a show/anime and also it’s great for abstract paintings and so many other ideas. Honestly, it shouldn’t be free. Most apps that involve drawing has MANY ads to the point where 85% of the time your using the app is ads so as you can imagine, it takes a very long time to create something you enjoy. But this one is completely different, maybe you’ll get a few ads here and there but i barley get any which i definitely appreciate! Not only that but there are so many brushes you can use for texture, some of them do cost money but a lot of them do not. And it’s not at all crappy, you can add so many tiny details and large details to make a perfect masterpiece.

Very very good!. I draw a lot and this helps so much! I also love how this works with the Apple Pencil! I have two suggestions though! 1 is I think you should put a mode on this app to where if you are using an Apple Pencil, you can turn the mode on and it will set it to where you can’t draw with your finger anymore, you just use your fingers to move it. Why I recommend this add on is because there has been many times where I finish something and go to move it, and I accidentally erase something. (I know you can just hit undo but, might as well stop that from happening) 2. Is that you need to have maybe a tutorial-like thing where it teaches you what the buttons do. The reason I suggest you make this is because for the first week I had it, I had no idea what things did and sometimes messed something up that I couldn’t undo. OVERALL! Five Stars! Out of all the apps I have found this is the best by far! The others cost money, but this is better than them! I have recommended it to all my friends. (Ps. I might get hate for this from people but you really should change the price to like. $0.99 It is too good to be free)

9/10 the app is awesome. App is amazing I love it! Ok let me slow down. First of all, great work. I love how u can have only a few tools that look easy to create an anime masterpiece! My friends use it a lot! I am thankful that U guys made the brushes free. I mean not all of them, but some. Sure the ads can be annoying but not to me. Even if it’s an 18 hour free brush, but I still enjoy it! I love it when u can go online and share ur work. I don’t have an account but I love watching and scrolling to see a lot of neat artwork. Also, can u PLEEEEAAAASEEEE tell me to get an online brush. All of the things are very confusing for me to get. I want a Cloud brush. I’m sure there’s one that free for 18 hours, but I want to find it online. My friend has used it before and it looks very good. If u could, could u add tutorials to every thing that’s pretty confusing? Know what I. Mean? And the viewers can skip the tutorial anytime. And watch it again! Stunningly perfect. I’ve been using this app for a few months now. I always had pretty crappy apps for drawing like FlipaClip or Notability, then I got this and my drawing experience is so much better. I like how many tools there are, it was a bit overwhelming at first but I find myself using them all constantly. There are hundreds of beautiful brushes and the drawing experience itself is smooth and easy (of course it depends on your actual skill too). There is so much potential for each and every drawing. Additionally, I like how easy it is to remove backgrounds with the magic wand tool. I also like how you can easily import pictures to edit them or trace them. I haven’t purchased premium but I find it easy to use anyway, because the ads are simple banners on the top of the screen and all paid brushes can be unlocked for 18 hours with one ad. The one thing I dislike is the translation. It’s a bit choppy, but it’s an easy thing to overlook. Conclusion: This is the best drawing app ever. I highly recommend it for anyone, beginner or pro. New update is unnecessary.. I’ve been using this app for around 3 years and it’s been my only source of income as I take artwork commissions, but with the recent update I’m not enjoying the new layout. It’s too complex and oversimplified, while the older layout was easy and had a soft, wide look. The largeness of the panels makes the screen look significantly small and frustrates the user as it makes the canvas seem squished. I’m scared I won’t be able to find another app as amazing as this one, and the new update has completely changed my positive opinions about it. I miss the old layout. The brushes as well are changed, are not as smooth, and seem very low in quality. The older brushes had a beautiful look and were very clean. The brush layout is complicated, as it makes the brushes’ display example much more difficult to see the strokes as they are. The older version had this, and the update lacks it significantly. It just looks very bland and lost its original look. Overall, the newest look is just very substandard compared to the last version. I don’t want to let this app go quite yet, as I’ve spent years using it and it was the best art platform I’d used. I just want the older version back, as that would be excellent. Thank you!

This app is great and all but.... This app is great, I use it for all my digital unless it’s animation, but there are a few things I’m a bit nit picky about. Making an image bigger for example will make it become blurry and lower quality, the image is still clear enough to tell that it is thou. It would be great if I could move folders, that way i don’t have to merge everything to move it all or try to make all the the layers bigger and alined which is just a headache I won’t get into, the speed paint feature is cool and all but it doesn’t show the brush strokes they just kind of pop up, I mean yea it’s moving quickly but it would still be nice to be able to see the way people move their brushes in order to learn from them. Maybe change the fact that all of the tools to move lines slightly all make the quality dumb down, even if slightly it’s still annoying to see that if you want to Change anything about you line art or coloring it gets blurry, anyways I’m done for now, devs if you fix these issues especially with the blurry that would be amazing.

It’s ok but one thing about it.... Now IbisPaint X is a generally good app to use with things like digital drawing. I use this app through out a lot of my days and the end results I usually like. The app has lots of brushes, free layers, and even a small play back option to watch a speed paint of your art. However there are a few thing I don’t like. Number one the placement of free and pay brushes. I do watch the ads to use the pay brushes but I still think the brushes could be more organized. For example let’s say the brushes like the circles, stars and hearts have a shape category, mapping pens and others could have a shape category. Not to mention it would be nice that maybe if you were to have pay to use brushes that you don’t mix them with the free ones. Another issue is the constant crashing. I’m currently experiencing constant crashing when trying to do almost anything on the app, I can’t edit, can’t create a new drawing nor can I even watch the small speed paint without the app crashing. If you could please fix this crashing problem as it it a main reason I’m seeing complaints or at the least tell what I can do about the crashing to prevent it from happening. AWESOME! But... IbisPaintX is a wonderful app that I like to use for thumbnails and practicing my drawing. I love that there are so many brushes and different filters that you can use to make your drawing look cooler. But lately I have been experiencing a bit of an issue. Whenever I load up IbisPaintX it starts working for a few minutes, and then the screen just freezes and I have to close the app and then open it back up again! It all started when I started playing music while editing my photos, and now it’s like a routine. The bug isn’t too annoying but it does get on my nerves a bit, but I’m sure I could live with it. I’ve also tried restarting my iPad, making new storage space. And deleting the app and reinstalling it again, But it still won’t fix! I understand that it’s a tiny bug, but it’s been over a few months and it seems to be happening even more frequently. Like I said, I can live with it, but if you can, Please fix!! But besides that, IbisPaintX is a very helpful app and I use it almost every day! Once you start learning all the tips and tricks, it’s pretty easy! I’m really glad I stumbled across this app, and it’s a great app to boost your creativity.

Ads and Bugs Getting Worse. This app has been my go-to for drawing for about a year now, but recently the experience has been getting worse. For about a week now, I have been getting frequent requests to turn on tracking even though I keep clicking “no” each time. Today it happened twice within the span of 24 hours, which is excessive. I wish the developers could take no for an answer or at least not ask to track me every single day. The sudden pop-up ads have also been really annoying and almost like a jump scare when I’m trying to draw. I’m really disappointed that this app has joined the trend of shoving ads in our faces because it used to be really fun. Aside from that, there seems to be a new bug with the transform tool. Trying to move parts of a drawing is suddenly really choppy and not smooth at all, like it doesn’t move as far as my finger and I can’t place it in a precise spot. It’s really annoying so please fix it! Also I’d like to make a suggestion! There is no gradient tool on this app which is a big loss, because I draw a lot of pictures with gradients and it is really difficult without a designated tool. Every other drawing app has a gradient tool so this one should as well. I hope you consider this!

Highly recommend!. This app is perfect for all ages, and there is a daily contest, so you get to show your drawings in. There is 20 places in the daily rank, so there is only 20 winners. When you select your age, it will show drawings that are appropriate for your age. This, I really enjoy so people can enjoy this brilliant app without worrying about anything. The thing I mostly enjoy is the tutorials. They have short movies on the new updates and how to use ibis Paint X even more. Another cool thing is that you get to upload pictures into your drawings too! In ibis Paint X, with the winner drawings you can click on them to see how they made it in fast forward. It’s also available for your drawings, too! There is some adds, but very little! There is also Prime Membership, so it give you access to more items. But the items you also can get without prime membership are amazing too! If you want Prime membership for only a few hours without spending money, you can watch an add and it will give you all of the brushes for 18 hours, without spending money! ibis Paint X is brilliant and shows all artists how to improve and grow!

Great App, Bug fixes pls!. Okay, don’t get me wrong. This is an amazing drawing app to have. AND IT DOESN’T COST MONEY, WOOHOO!! I am a stay home artist, partly because of this pandemic, and this app is a great go-to when I’m bored. But there is a couple problems I have experienced while drawing with this app. My iPad that I use to draw has a hard time with screenshots. My home button doesn’t exactly work, so I can never take a screenshot to text my friends my masterpieces. Next, I have been on vacation for a while, and I didn’t use this app for a bit. When I came back, IbisPaint X did not get past the loading screen. I deleted it and got it back, but it just kept loading. I even pulled out a book, it was like 20 minutes before I was finished with 5 chapters and the thing was still loading. I’m not kidding! Please fix this! Like I said, I would very much appreciate it if you all fix these bugs! I’m not asking you to dix my iPad, I’m asking if you can put in a little button to share on Facebook, gmail, Twitter, IM, messaging, Instagram, Snapchat, all those social media apps. Thank you amazing people for making Ibis Paint X! It really helps!

ibisPaint X is a wonderful app!. I love ibisPaint X. It’s pretty much the only drawing app I use, actually. You can do so much more than just draw things, though. I use it to edit photos as well. You can make visual edits with it, draw, trace a sketch, edit photos, or just color in something. There is a wide variety of brushes and colors you can use with ibisPaint X. The brushes can help a lot with drawings and edits. It is a bit hard to confusing to figure out at first, and some of its features can be difficult to figure out. But there are many tutorials online about how to use this app, so if you are struggling I suggest looking at those. I have been using this app for well over a year, and I’ve finally gotten the hang of most of its features. If you’re new to the app, I suggest trying everything out just to see what it does. Don’t be afraid of ruining your drawing, because there is both an undo and a redo button. You can also erase some things or remove them. I’d have to say this is my favorite app to use for drawing or editing, and I highly recommend it to people looking for a free drawing app.

LOVE! ^w^💜. This app is great for editing and drawing. But I only edit for this app. Not much of a digital drawer ( if you know what I mean). Anyways, I have a friend who edits her Gacha Life Characters and she told me that an app called IbisPaint is an app to draw a d edit things. I was interested and asked my mom to download the app. She agreed and the moment I got the app, I was excited! Well, not really. I was just interested what it is. I mean, I have experienced one digital drawing app ( forgot name). But I was soo curious. I know, curiosity kills the cat. But I was! I picked my main Gacha life Character, and started to edit. So while I was editing, I saw soo many choices. My mind was blown. Not really. There was some choices I knew. But, whats Blur? I tested it out. And I placed it in my Character. It was like a dream. I am soo happy to have this app and to edit my Gacha Characters. But its not all me. Thanks to all of the Gacha Tubers to show me how to edit my Characters and what App I should edit my Gacha Character. Thanks ^w^. Literally love this app sm. Even before each wonderful update, I believe I started using this app 5-6 years ago? Recommended by an old friend, it has never disappointed to be an easy-to-use, fun drawing and editing program! I haven’t been able to switch to any other (and expensive) program long-term; I have to keep coming back to this one, even as a mediocre artist. It has allowed me to test out and try so many new things with the convenience of digital tools and improve far more than I would’ve otherwise. As a perfectionist, if I continued to make things harder for myself traditionally or with other more-complicated or not-complicated-enough programs, I probably still wouldn’t have my passion for drawing and allow myself to utilize those methods when I want to. I recommend this app to other artists trying digital art out for the first time or having been trying out programs for a while. I look forward to working with the animation tools and all the other new features I can use for free!

My Explanation For 5 or 4.7 Stars. First off, this game has so many brushes! It takes me around 15 minutes to look at every one and choose one. You can choose from templates to trace, fill in, or color! One problem o have with this is that it doesn’t tell the truth on how long it takes you to draw what you drew. I have been using IbisPaintx for a short amount of time and I am in love with it! When I draw with IbisPaintx, I feel like I can actually express how I am feeling or my interests. There is a “Daily Ranking” where you can see 20 OTHER drawings that talented people make. You can also submit one! Second, I with they would fix this, I use this app a LOT. Most of the time, when I want to do something quick, I will use the bucket or fill to finish something I’m doing. It will outline it with a similar color and that makes me upset simply because I’m trying to do it quick but now, I have to go over the similar color. I hope this encourages you to download IbisPaintx! And for the creators, I hope you fix that! I love this game but I hate when that happenes! Have a good day!

Best free drawing program out there. I am writing this review as I am moving over to procreate. First off, this app is easy to use and can produce some great work even with the free content. Out of all the free drawing programs this one is probably the best, Medibang studio for example has terrible UI compared to the much more clean UI seen here. But with all free apps comes SUBSCRIPTIONS which defeat the purpose of these being cheaper alternatives. A recent update has made advertisements especially pesky and I’ve experienced performance issues with the ads trying to run in the background while I’m connected to the internet. It also feels pretty insulting to have a mobile game ad pop up when I try to go back to the gallery. To the devs: I would recommend rolling back the intrusive ads and putting them elsewhere (or finding another alternative.) I do have to give thanks, since this app has been a great tool in the development of my own digital art skills, and I bet it can be just as useful for other artists new to digital. I give a 4/5 to say it’s fantastic, but still not the best compared to its paid competitor.

BEST. DRAWING. APP. EVER. ❤️. So, this app. WHERE DO I BEGIN????? I use it all the time for funny edits and comics, sometimes just to doodle and then get really creative and mess it up, haha! But this app is the best if you want to make anime, makes comics, edit pictures, even take pictures in real life and put them in a drawing! There are varieties of brush tools and erasers (My personal favorite is the dip pen hard tool) and they come in lots of sizes from 0.1 pixel to 30 pixels! You can pick whatever color you’d like, with any layer, and it’s very simple to use for beginners. When I started, I had no idea how to use it, but over time it gets easier to learn and you can learn some new techniques! You can draw anything with this app with any size of canvas. You can upload them to the front page too! I don’t do that because I don’t have a Twitter or Facebook account, but I’m planning to upload some of my artwork! I recommend to beginners or to anyone who’d like to just have a nice app that draws easily and has many choices to choose from! I love this app so much and I will continue to use it for years ahead.
