App crashes when I try to upload a picture.. It’s really annoying me. I went on a trip to the Philippines and took hundreds of great pictures. I want to upload them but can’t the app keeps crashing when I press, “upload image”. However when I try to upload from my computer to the EyeEm website it’s perfectly fine. Please fix this ASAP, thank you.

Make $$$ from your iPhone and other photos. Since joining I have sold over a $1000 dollars worth of pictures! Almost anything can sell if it illustrates a story or concept. I belong to another micro stock agency but EyeEm beats it hands down!

Fantastic App!. I’ve been using EyeEm app for several months. I’m a novice photographer, however through the use of EyeEm I’ve began learning new ways to shoot better photos. The professional photographers are very helpful and generous with tips to improve. I recommend this app to anyone who enjoys photography.

The one, the only.... I have been a part of the Eyeem community since almost the beginning. In fact and if I’m not mistaken many of the photographs in the beginning were purely mobile in nature. Although this has changed, one thing that has remained constant is the hard work of the Eyeem team to continually improve the app and make it available to everyone regardless of where you are and how you take your photos. Great app and dedicated people make for happy users!

JW. Love it! Love it love it! I won once many many many years ago, with Getty/Eyeem on another account I started and don’t have anymore, I messed up and locked myself out lol! I’ve made a couple accounts that I am locked out of and need to delete somehow. 👍 No worries though. They were all so amazing and sent me a celebration email! I don’t usually win anything so it was awesome that they had this opportunity! If you get your license with Eyeem the possibilities are endless! For someone like me who just wants to share my art, photos and have fun, it’s awesome! I am not making photography my profession, I don’t want to make any money off of the photos. 💝 It’s a nice place to share your art and a great way to keep it copy written! I don't recommend.. After two weeks, my photos finally finished being "reviewed" for the market. And out of 10 different photos (all completely different) none were selected for the market! They don't explain why it wasn't, only give possible reasons. And none of my photos fell under those categories! If they'd at least personally tell you what was wrong with it, that'd be great, then you could improve or whatever. But no, you're just rejected for no real reason! What kind of system of review do you have? The other photos are all of people and some are naked and some are borderline porn? Is there no regulation on this? And these photos get featured! Seriously, you have to take photos of half naked or fully naked people to be featured in the app itself. Some pictures were good and so on, but the most "popular" ones were nude photos! These were selected by their system, I don't think any actual person reviews the photos, it's most likely done by some computer program or a biased staff that only selects what they personally like, nude photos and borderline porn.

Helps you take better pictures. When you see the creativity and quality of photos here, it makes you up your photography game. Truly had me rethink my pictures. I have sold a few and have several chosen for Getty images since being on EyeEm. Even rejected phots help me grow. I would like to see some reasons when not selected for the market. Outstanding app

The roll.. App is cool and dandy. But I just want The Roll back. I like Instagram and I want to delete pictures that don’t look good. It was simple, cool, and sweet. I had gotten a new phone a while back and it didn’t download onto the new phone and I had totally forgotten all about it. I liked how it made tags for the picture and everything. I just miss it 😩 any chance to bringing it back ?

User-Friendly and love the app. OMG! The app is user friendly and I can upload a hoots from photo and my desktop. I don’t have any issues with slow upload time or timeouts. I love to see different photography angles, the depth of field of some photos and the HD. This company by far are the best. I got picked up by Getty Images, awesome!!!

Amazing and easy to use!. I didn’t think this app would be worth my time at first, but it definitely is. EyeEm has many uses and benefits. You can edit photos and eventually sell them to brands hassle free. It’s also a great way to connect with others and see their content.

Great platform for entering competitions. My only complaint would be... that for some reason, reaction to images you post, seem much less than on other platforms. I definitely have more interactions to my work, on a couple of other platforms I have my work posted. But EyeEm definitely offers better missions.

Hooked. Only a few days in as user and I’m hooked. I’m not a photographer by any means, but I do love capturing unforgettable moments . Until now, I may share one or two w a family member; and the rest of the time they just built up and went unseen. This app is very connected . I don’t expect to make any profit from the photos I submit. It’s really just great getting to share moments that would otherwise be trapped in storage or a cloud airlifting idle.

Photographer. Good site to help market some of my archives. I have sold stuff, but I’m not pushing the way that I could. Articles on market trends and those that sell regularly using the site can help. But you must pay attention and work the markets available to you. Model releases will help, but targeting trends is your best bet to make this site work for you. I like the challenges presented also.

The best site for sharing your photography. I have been part of EyeEm community for years and love the fact that I can not only share my photos with the possibility of sale but I can interact with an international community and see techniques and learn from others. Worth the effort to join If you re interested in professional development.

First time photo sharing /marketing app. Love it and fun missions to try to win prizes and money yes money! I never knew some of my photos are worth something to advertisers and such. Very interesting and helpful too with all kinds of filters and editing tools for your photos. Check it out if you like to take photos!! You won’t be sorry and it won’t be a waste of your time like a lot of others apps I have downloaded.

Great photography opportunity. I love this app! I have enjoyed my experiences so far! I’m hoping to sell my photos and get published. This app is a great opportunity to be seen! Several of my photos have been selected to partner, the partner selection which I’m excited about!! I’m hoping my photos will be seen and chosen. I love photography, it is a great pass time & a huge passion of mine! I love seeing all the different kinds of photography shown in this app.

Unable to get pics approved. I was hopeful about this as a hobby and as a passive fun way to earn some extra cash. 2/3 of my photo uploaded were rejected for no technical or other reason listed. When I emailed the tech support team they agreed that the pixels and format were fine and proceeded to manually approve them. They have not fixed the problem and I have several photos sitting there with no approval. I emailed tech support again and they have started ignoring my messages. It’s too bad this didn’t work out.

Really hope to upgrade my review.... But for now this app is nothing more than an attractive example of what it could be. It crashes all the time (iPhone X running latest iOS version), won't let me "join the market" or "sell on market", and doesn't show all of the photos I have stored in my different photo albums on my phone. I love the upload/filtering/captioning/tagging features, but the instability of the platform makes this only a 2-star also-ran for now. I hope they fix it because I really want to sell my photos!

EYEEM IS LEGIT!. I’ve been a member going on a few years now..while my account has been a bit stagnant for a while that’s my fault BUT I have a made over $70 total just from adding my photos to the EyeEm market! These are photos that I take with my iPhone OR camera! The community EyeEm has created is amazing and super fun to see all the talent from all over the world! The EyeEm missions are a plus if your a competitive type 😁

The Ultimate Critique Class. Since joining this app I have grown so much as a photographer. My perspective and the way I view my pictures has really changed. Seeing such beautiful and creative photos from all over the world widens my vision. I also love the feedback from other photographers that I would never have the opportunity to meet on any other forum.

THIEVES. Eyeem are thieves. My images were removed by my request from EyeEm market. Now 2 years later I find them on Getty images for sale at 475 euros a pop. What have I ever earned? 0.01 cent. And 1.39 usd once. Wow. Now my images are being sold …when I log into my account it is completely empty. JUST WOW and i alrdy wrote this review and it disappeared so not only are they thieves and liars. They also manipulate their reviews. Wow wow wow wow wow. How pathetic must a company be. Amazing !!!

Amazing!. I’ve been a part of the community for quite a few years now. Although o just recently really started making money as my work has gotten better! I think I’ve made a total of $500+ now!!!!

8 year use.. I’ve been on this app every bit of 7 year of good use from learning it to competing in the challenges. I have yet to sell a photo, at this point idk what type of market it is they use but if your not a big time photo editor this the photo want get a sell. I’ve taken 3 photo I know should’ve sold at this point but no, it’s very low exposure to me but to each it’s own as I said I’ve used this app 7 could be 8 very long years building and learning and still as a simple model nothing.

Best app to be ever created. I downloaded this app for the love of taking pictures and getting my work recognized. Thought my pictures haven’t been bought yet but I love community and appreciate all the love I get for my photos. Plus the upside I get to view all the best quality work I see posted by all the lovers of photography.

The best in it’s field. If you are an advanced professional photographer or just a iPhone picture taker of things you love and enjoy, this app is what you need. A learning experience and you get to see the best in the world of Photography as well as a snap of the family pet that someone loves dearly. Very encouraging to those like myself who have a passion for capturing photos as you see them!

Fantastic. I love this app because it gives me a ground for my photography where i can get honest likes and honest comments without having to be a well known photography app and where i have the opportunity to show the rest of the world through my eyes in competitions and in photos in general. I love this app and I recommend it to every beginner/ amateur aspiring photographer.

Good but expensive,. I like EyeEm for the simple way of keeping your photos in one place. Very simple app to use, with its various functions for cropping and tinkering with your photos. The only thing I don’t care about EyeEm is the cost. I purchased a friends photo from her market gallery which cost $20, that’s reasonable, but EyeEm takes a 50% cut. I’m sure their making plenty of money to provide the services they offer without having to gouge the photographers. I imagine the photos and time spent on them by the photographer is worth more than half of the revenue generated from them.

Security Issues. I downloaded this app, created an account and ended up not using it. Some time passed and I received a notification from my banks that my email and password were exposed and found on the web because of this app. I deleted the app since I wasn’t using it. I’ve gotten the same notification a couple more times from my bank through the span of a year. Hopefully EyeEm will be more proactive in efforts to prevent this from continuously happening.

So far so good. Just started trying out this app. Without much to compare to, so far all the fine print is very concise and it’s been easy to upload my first few photos. Looking forward to the future with excitement!

Thank you. I really love photography and the EyeEm App. They may favor and promote some photographers but amateurs like myself also get to post and see what people like. Additionally, the staff at EyeEm has been friendly and responsive when I have an issue.

Used to be Great. This used to be my favorite app, but three updating trends have made it a subpar experience for me: 1.) The emphasis on selling photos has resulted in a decline in the social part of sharing photos here. It is less of a photographic community than it used to be. 2.) The "intelligent" tagging system is dumb (again tilted toward marketing). When posting a series of photos, it used to be much easier to reuse the same tags. This is no longer the case with a tagging system that is makes it a chore to apply your own tags. 3.) I used to be able to see who was following me back, which I truly miss now that EyeEm is rife with users who engage in mass following tactics only to then dump the people who follow them back.

Done with EyeEm!. Some of my best photos (professional quality) are not chosen for market. No explanation. Even after reading all reasoning of why a photo will not be chosen for market, my unchosen photos fit none of them. Very aggravating. There are also crashing issues. This is too great of a concept to have such issues. Update: Found out that EyeEm will sell photos to Getty Images for a high price & give the photographer only a couple of dollars! What crooks!!!! Deleting my account!

Love this app. Love the community and this app in general. However, people should not be able to “follow” you without your permission. I also think you should allow users to “share” their favorite “users” photos with other “followers”. Other than that...it’s a great app. Much better than Instagram and as close to the Tadaa community as I could find:) Thank you EyeEm.

Photo Beauty. Awesome interface, only issue is at times photos load slow and sometimes crashes out of app... still gets 4 solid stars for overall beautiful display and ability to showcase your photos, great filters if its your style along with in app editing. Five stars if they can fix the load speed of galleries and stop the app from crashing at times.

Terrible. I’ve taken some pretty amazing photos, put a lot of time and effort into my photography and no matter what photo I upload it seems none of them get uploaded to the market. It gives you no explanation as to why it wasn’t selected and no criteria to go by or criticism as to why it wasn’t selected or on what I should do better. It just simply says “Not Selected for Market”. At least tell me why! Not a single photo selected!? Disappointing…

Fly in the ointment. Eyem is a great service with enthusiastic members worldwide. I've been posting here for years. The one problem with using Eyem is that it kicks the user out with no warning. This problem has lasted through numerous upgrades. I'll keep using it--it's easier to use and has a more responsive audience than other similar products--but I wish they would fix this glitch.

Great Application. I have only been using the app for about five or six days and have learned how to use it easily. Definitely user friendly interface and navigation. The photos are uploaded to your own site kind of like social media and you can chose to put them on the market form that point. I had my site developed, customized, and photos uploaded within a few minute so its not a hard or long process to set up. Moving the photos to the market is easy to do and you can add custom tags and keywords to each photo. The worst thing about this app is when you do decide to sell photos on the market then it seems like they take quite a long to time to review and approve the photos for market selling. Other than that good stuff. It s lot of fun to take photos, edit them, and try to sell your work. Good luck future photographers. See you on EyeEm .

So far good. So far no issues, easy to upload pictures. Easy to use tags and easy to view other pictures. Photo mission guidelines are easy to understand and submit to.

Family fun. This app has created a new and exciting hobby for our family (my wife and our 13 y/o son). We have become obsessed with photography. We constantly brag about photos we have on market, on premium. I can’t wait to see the excitement when (if) one actually sales. The only complaint I have, and it maybe user error, is when a release is needed, be it a model or property, and either it is actually not needed, not possible to get one due to death or no owner or public property, or other mistake. When this occurs I haven’t found a way to clear up the problem and submitted correctly. Other than that this has become my favorite pastime app and find myself spending more time on this app than any others. I also find myself looking at all the beauty around me I normally take for granted.

Love this app. I’ve had this app for several years. I’ve made about $200 on one of my photos throughout the years. I didn’t expect to make money because I’m not exactly a professional, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised!

App has issues…. Been using the app for a few days now and for me, it appears to have a issue where it crashes to the Home Screen when trying to upload multiple images or trying to input the information for a single image when you hit the Done button. Very frustrating. Hopefully that gets addressed because it’s a pretty smart app otherwise. One item on my wish list would be that they actually tell you the reason why an image was not selected for Market so that you could improve your picture selection/taking. The help link only gives you a guild line for why pictures aren’t chosen and not specifically what’s wrong with yours.

Love, hate. I am really enjoying this app, save for the fact that it has crashed over a dozen times in the last two hours that I have been using it. The interface is beautiful, the app is easy to use, and the missions and concepts are really cool, but the app itself seems super buggy. Looking forward to improvements!

Better Than Insta.... Unlike Insta... & other F...book owned mediums, which you forfeit rights to your photos, Eye-Em actually protects your photos. It is created by a German company that honors German government regulations regarding citizens rights. F...book is actively censoring anti-establishment posts/pages. Don’t give Zuckerberg any more power. Stop being part of the problem. boycott Insta... & anything owned by Zuckerberg. Download Eye-Em & be part of the solution.

Social media through the art of photography. Forget thumbs up, thumbs down and the vitriolic nature of rants of raves. See the world through the eyes of others by what they capture in light and share in electrons. Express yourself by sharing what you see and how you see it.

PLEASE FIX THESE ISSUES!!!. I’ve become much less into this app due to these issues. 1. Uploading from my photo library, having to go into my library and the photos I want to upload, rather than how it used to be where each time we want to upload we can do it straight from our library (rather than the current tedious task of selecting specific photos and then adding those to album on EyeEm to upload.). What’s also infuriating is twice I did it the current way, taking a bunch of time to select a lot of photos to add and then it dropped me out of that screen, sending me back to square one. 2. The continued issue of when I’m uploading pics, adding my caption info, copying and pasting that so I don’t have to keep typing the same info each time, then when I go to paste that info on the next pic, it’s blank, doesn’t stick. The multiple upload feature doesn’t work right either. This stuff has been going on for a good while now. Can’t believe nobody has said anything. I don’t have any of these issues with Instagram. I like the EyeEm platform and community but it’s very flawed.

Avoid the frustration…. EyeEm is great as a platform to display your own photos, and viewing the amazing work of many, very talented photographers! I’ve only been into photography for a few years now and I really enjoy looking at the work of more experienced photographers! I was really hoping this would be more of a platform for photographers to communicate with each other, pass along tips, tricks, and give constructive criticism. However, it’s not like that at all. It’s nice getting likes on your photos from others, but that’s about as far as it goes as far as communicating with other photographers. The team working behind the scenes at EyeEm are pretty much worthless as far as reviewing your pictures. It takes them literally weeks to review and the majority of your pictures aren’t selected to sell on the market. No reasons given, no explanation, nothing. If you’re looking to hopefully sell some pictures, good luck. I’ve had much a lot of sales elsewhere. EyeEm could be so much better if the people behind the scenes cared enough to make some significant changes, and actually communicated with you.

Don’t spend your time and space.. I am start to deleting my pictures and i am going to close my account. I have 107 pictures and 42 of them selected with partner. There is no likes or no missions. There is no reason to stay. Update: Since I closed my account, i can focus other apps. No selling in this app i don’t know how many years, but other apps i am definitely selling at least 1 or 2 pictures every month. It is rare but sometimes i had 3 and 4 pictures in one month. Fun way to share creativity.. This app is really easy and a fun way to share creativity and those things I think are pretty when I’m out and about. It’s nice to share with a community who likes to see the beauty in our world.

EyeEm, providing photographers a place to be themselves. What I really like about EyeEm, is not only will it boost my confidence with photography and encourage me to lean into my artistic abilities. From nature, to animals, family, black and white, sepia, and full spectrum colors EyeEm gives those who dabble in photography or those who are just beginning a place to post their photographs and people can give advice or complements, and you can also see the photographs of others and if you like what they did, you can ask about it right then and there. It’s like an art show but without the studio, the tiny food, expensive alcohol and the stuffy atmosphere. I would even recommend this app to those who just enjoy photography.

Fantastic. Fantastic app I’ve had on my phones for the last couple of years. No lag issues, no heat issues on my iPhone X or any previous phone I had. When organising your payouts, I find it easy to do and the funds arrive quickly in my PayPal account. I recommend this app for anyone seriously (or not so seriously) interested in photography.

Constant crashes. App crashes every time I try to select a photo to upload. I wanted to like it, but the current version is completely unusable.

Best app for selling photos. Having tried pretty much every stock photo selling app and EyeEm is the only one I have made sales with. And quite a few sales at that. It is also the most positively encouraging of the lot and features great articles with tips on selling and taking good pics in general. These guys really want to see their members do well and I never feel like I’m competing with other photographers - even in the competitions EyeEm runs. It’s literally all about taking and sharing and seeing great photos! Thanks guys... Muttly.

Crashing. Great app with a lot of potential. However, whenever I go on ‘grain’ when editing photos the app constantly crashes. By fixing this bug/issue it WOULD become a 5 star worth app. If this is not fixed I would definitely with no hesitation delete this app and not recommend (actually tell them to not buy it) it to people I know.

I would give zero if I could. When I first started with EyeEm (Getty Images) they paid a fair amount for the use of your photos. Now, even valued Partner Collection images pay the photographer a paltry $0.01USD, believe me, someone is being ripped off and you can guarantee it’s not Getty Images 🤬 Photographers, do yourselves a favour and don’t even bother. Publishers, if you can live with yourselves for the blatant EXPLOITATION of any photographers still using Getty Images then may karma give you in the end exactly what you deserve.

EYE EM A FAN of EYEEM!!!!. EYE EM A FAN of EYEEM!!!! Love this app. Recommend it to all photographers, artisans and the like who love to capture moments and revive them to a whole other level. Love the social side and the talented people who are behind the beautiful and awe-inspiring pictures. Similar to Instagram but EYEEM IS BETTER. Instagram vs EyeEm is similar to versing Microsoft to Apple, in my opinion. Since i love Apple do you get where I'm going at here? (apple is better-so EyeEm is better [random but true]) It is professional, clear and has a creative layout. LOVE IT. 👌👍✌

Not simple, still working out new layout. There are some nice filters in the latest upgrade, but I am still trying to work out how best to use it. Loading each photo before viewing is a little slow. Descriptions of photos is hit and miss. Site still developing. But it's getting better. There are generally more interesting photos than so much of Instagram.

Under review. My photos have been “under review” for almost 5 days with no way that I can see to track any progress and no updates at all. Quite annoying that there’s not even an estimate of how long the process should take.

What’s going on?. Hey, just started using EyeEm but I’ve noticed quite a few optimisation issues. Firstly, the app just doesn’t feel fluid and some buttons are laggy as well. Secondly, my iPhone X has been getting quite hot while running this app, and often requires iOS to lower the display brightness. Hope it’ll be all patched up soon

Great app but needs work. It'd be great if there was the option to tag more . Liking and commenting on others photos is slow going . The push notifications need simplifying ie- "user123 is now following you" And for some reason I am not able to save anything in the about you section. All this being said, I think this app is the perfect refuge from the BS going on in instagram .

A great photo marketplace. This app is unique due to its social capabilities - being able to see and communicate with other great photographers. The fact that photographers using any equipment ensures the greatest diversity of photography. The icing on the cake - the regular challenges to create images for specific tasks.

Upload complete. But nothing shows up on my profile or anywhere for that matter in the app? Directly added several photos. And nothing. Took them, but gave nothing back: no profile count, no display of what I’ve added. Nothing. Pretty poor servers or service consider they’re by the technical sense, a store.

New to EyeEm. So I am new to this and so far all seems good, not sure where it will take me but worth a go ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So easy to publish. I like how most of the keyword work is done based on photo analysis. Doesn’t always work as some shots are abstract but it’s algorithm is better than me.

Love this app!. I just discovered this app! It encourages me to take more pics.

Average at best.. Upload photos. Wait weeks for them to be ‘reviewed’. Never make money on them as competing with pro photographers. Also constant emails about notifications and updates, upwards of 10 per a day, that you cannot switch off on your settings. I’ve deleted it.

Heating issue. I just added this app on my iPhone today I’m starting to love this app but I’m kinda bit disappointed because it heated up my phone I hope you guys fix this issue other than That it’s great app! if you love taking photos and posting it in social media why not get this app and sell your photos that way you can still enjoy sharing and earn from it!

Great photo sharing platform. I love EyeEm. Easy to use and upload. The new method of suggesting tags is great, but I wish it still had the last used ones, as if you upload several photos in a series, it’s time consuming to type in the same tags over again.

Really good. Really good. Better than most other places with similar services. Feels less clunky and more responsive.

Great App. So far I’m loving this app. You can share your own photos, see others and get/give feedback on content. Only thing I would try to improve is the EyeEm Selects feature of the app. The other week I was directing a fish in science class and it chose a picture of the cut open fish. Other then this, great app! Would reccomend.

Taking advantage of photographers. I’ve uploaded a bunch of photos to EyeEm over the years .. in the beginning they pitched themselves as a platform for photographers to share with each other and eventually sell their work too.. great.. or so it seemed.. one or two of my photos sold for a couple of dollars here and there.. the biggest sale being about 5 dollars.. then I walked into a major retail chain to see that photo being sold on a shirt. At first I was flattered, but the more I’ve thought about it in the intervening hours.. it’s t eta Lou taking advantage at that point, where a huge multinational fast fashion retailer can potentially make huge sums of money from my image that they paid so little for. This system is broken and it is the individual photographers who are worse off for it. It feels like theft.. I wouldn’t have cared if it was on a poster or in an ad.. but actually being turned into a physical product that in turn is sold for money at a huge scale seems wrong.. and downright dishonest. EyeEm do not make it clear what you’re getting into when you list images on their site.

Eyeem. Best app so happy with that!

Useless. I use an iPhone like everyone else but my photos arnt compatible with the app as they need to be 4 MP or above in order to be sold 😳 without an inbuilt option to resize images within EYE EM this app is rendered useless 👎🏼

Impossible to sell any images on this app. This app has in the last 6 months been impossible to even get an image on the market , as opposed to the 2 yrs previous when I could have most images in partner collection. There’s been a change in whose in charge of vetting images and far Be it from them knowing a decent shot of it came up and kissed them. I’m far from a great photographer, but I do consistently take interesting and worthy images, but after 2.5 yrs of first making the cut, to then being rejected and without so much as a way to dispute, I’m sick of trying to sell images on this app, they take far too much of your earnings, and they reek of snobbery when they ought to look at the real world and not believe that “the new normal” and mask wearers are worthy of being paid money for, steer clear!

Accessing my Account. I have been emailing their provided email address to try and get access on my account. So far haven’t heard from them. I tried logging in with the associated gmail and nothing works. I also tried resetting my password but the change password button never functions once I’ve done my input. Please help me.

Great app. I love the app! I’ve had it for a couple of days. The information that’s on there to help you is amazing. I do have a little trouble sometimes with random crashes and then it just closes. Usually happens when I’m scrolling through my photos to upload.

Sweeeet. Great, some things are better than Instagram; the variation on picture shapes, better options with filters and frames etc. Other things could improve, like the ability to see who has liked a picture once more than a few have done so. The double tap 'like' feature if Instagram would be great too.

Was great. Was great but with your new system I upload photos which are pretty good and they keep getting denied for market where before nearly everyone photo of mine was accepted

Loving it. I joined recently because of frustrating issues like spam and the removal of photo previews on twitter on IG. I'm very impressed with the community and calibre of photographers and love not having to crop to a square! A few minor tweaks would improve EyeEm even further. Things such as auto capitalizing in comments, the ability to 'tag' retrospectively, and being able to both caption a photo AND tag it. Another true b&w filter would be a bonus. Overall fantastic.

Definitely better than Instagram !. This is the best photo application I use. The Filters are better than Instagram and the best part is you don't have crop your photo into squares. First photo app that actual teaches you how others edit their photo. It is all about sharing guys and eyeem just made their app designed be on the next level. Well done eyeem can't wait to see what you come up with next.

Perfect for Aspiring Photographers. Really great avenue for photographers like myself to share their work. Great features like suggested tags help you get it out there. Also great source of inspiration from other photographers.

An Updated Review. One star up from my previous review. It's a great app. But with all social media apps, it's about how much you interact and how much they feature you. Many of the featured photographers are based on one photo and don't have great feeds. It's loading faster than it used to. I like the fact that you can load from the desk top as well. Something IG doesn't do. The images certainly look clearer when viewed and generally you can call out the ones who either over crop or don't realise that they are posting a bad quality image.

Very good photo sharing app.. Although sales are almost non existent and not very profitable I love this app as a place to display my work without having to worry about my own website. A few dollars here and there are better than nothing!

The best by far!!. Eyeem is a fantastic app, it is all about photography and is for all types of photographers - from complete beginners to mind blowingly good professional photographers and everything in between!! There is tutorials for those who wish to learn, there are missions (contests of sorts) weekly with great photography based prizes and there is the market for those who want to sell their photos! It's a very supportive community and the eyeem team is also really helpful... and it's free! What more could you want from a photography app? Ok well there are also filters and other stuff for editing also! It's the best!!

Junk mail. I didn’t really get a chance to use the platform without getting sent a barrage of emails from the company. I turned off every notification setting yet they still came. I don’t mind an introduction email but getting an email every day/ every other day is a massive turn off so to stop them I deleted my account and the app. (Hopefully it works...)

Limited Options. All my photos are in cloud accounts (not iCloud) but the app can only access the iPhone’s local storage it seems. This is just weird. I have to download the photos I want to upload then delete again as I don’t want them stored on phone Can’t change cover photo in profile, no option to select photo available

Inspiring photographers read!!!. This is amazing!!! With almost daily missions and an easy way for others to find you, this is like a Instagram for photographers! I would LOVE for this to get huge, it deserves it. Only problem is when you want to give your photo a tag, you have to press the tag button each time, so have a separate box so you don't have to keep pushing tag.

Needs an update. Needs to be updated for this years iPad Pro lineup. Poor interface when used on the new iPads.

One thing.. Only improvement would be - to be able to edit after posting photo so you dont have to delete and re post :)

Mistress. Great app... Only improvement I'd like to see (though imagine it may not be viable) would be feedback from photo editors on selections for the EyeEm Getty collection... for example if they had a basic checkbox they could use to advise on photos that were considered but didn't quite make the grade because of one or two points like image quality or exposure, or composition, etc.. and the option to add a comment if they wished. For us amateurs looking to improve our skills even a small indication of things to look out for would be a huge help! Also a feature for adjusting focus when editing would be appreciated!! Otherwise the app is absolutely wonderful! Great photographers to be found on it, love the editing features and the support of the community using it!

In your dreams. Stock photography as a contributor is a joke. The game being played by the stock photography companies has bastardized the value of creativity. 25 cent images or cheaper is a fools game.

Not convinced. Just signing up was an annoying process and the FAQ’s don’t A my Q’s. Hoping it gets more user-friendly once I figure out the glitches but disappointed with the platform so far.

Not worth my time. I did try the app and there are so many people that in order to be found it’s like a needle in a Forrest. The concept is good, but no chance to sell .

EyeEm. Great App

Can’t post any photos (4 MP). I can’t post any of my photos, this warning message pops up saying my photos are below 4MP, which is incredibly not true, I’m using over a $1500 camera, canon EOS 80D with 24MP and using RAW Image files ONLY!!! It’s getting really annoying, and if anyone wanna see my photos, go for it, my user is PjPatrakka1, I only got 20 photos, and it’s been like that for months, I haven’t posted ever since, cuz on that problem they keep reclaiming on my camera.

Something went wrong. A lot.. Cool concept, but trying to do pretty much anything in the app leads to an "oops! something went wrong" screen.

Little payoff. A lot of work for very little, almost nothing gets selected for market. Submit 100 pics maybe 15 of them will be good enough for their market

Nice Idea, Poor Execution (so far). As of May 31, this app falls short. The verify email feature doesn’t work, I’m unable to change my cover photo, and it just isn’t isn’t that nice to use. Feels unpolished and all of the “missions” are 2021 despite being nearly 6 months into 2022. Are devs still updating this app?

Only 3 out of 61 photos are market worthy?. Fun app but it’s impossible to get your photos approved for ‘market’. I uploaded 61 photos and only 3 of them were accepted for possible sale. The other irk is that you only see a few photographers at a time so it’s not easy to browse the rest

Horrible company. This company is a sham that will give you next to nothing for images that sell for quite a bit. You can upload your images directly to Getty images and make hundreds of dollars more. Secondly customer service is terrible with next to no communication. Do not trust them they lie about the funds made.

Easily the BEST. By FAR the best stock photo app. I sell wayyyy more on it than any other stock photos website. Edit: I just edited 7 pictures, added all the hashtags and titles, then I got an “Upload Failed” and lost everything. Happened twice.

I can’t upload anything. I’ve uploaded a few pics, some were rejected some still under review. As of now ,the app is not responding to uploading any pics. 🤷‍♂️

Confused. I’m not sure what to think. I sold 2 photos and got pennies. I have over a thousand pictures on EyeEm with almost 500 on market. Been there for 3 years. Some of the featured photos are a joke I think, no art there but what do I know? Someone mentioned uploading directly to Getty, might try that!

Good Social Network But Integration with GettyImages Sucks. So, the app is good overall and it allows you to build a nice social network. The integration with GettyImages is a major problem for the following reasons: - once photos are selected and added to GettyImages, you are not allowed to use them anywhere else. - over the few years that GettyImages has taken hostage of my photos, I’ve received only about $3.50 in sales commission. - there is no way to ask GettyImages to remove my photos so I can use them on another photography app/site. The app doesn’t have this feature, and GettyImages has not replied to my direct emails to them! So, photographers beware of this issue with GettyImages.

Photographer in training. I really like this app, I love to take pictures and see the natural unedited beauty of the photo in different times of day! Maybe I’ll have some that will sell, would be even better.

Will not let me upload photos or go on discover page. Whenever I go on discover page I get an “opps an error has occurred” and h will not let me upload photos. I had higher expectations for this app and I hope it will improve because it is a great idea.

Somewhat disappointed. I took the time to upload a lot of pictures to enter into contests (missions) but all the missions are completed. I cant seem to find out how to enter photos to a new mission, i cant even find a new mission open. I do not find this app user friendly. I will continue to search for other apps to show my work

Great Step Forward. I am giving this app 3 stars because.... 1) It’s not intuitive and user friendly 2) It’s very confusing and flow of stories and promotions are not so great. I see weird stories again and again 3) This app is very Slow....need lot of improvements

Crashes all the time. I’m loving EyeEm but the mobile app is makes you crazy when you try to upload photos. Every 3-4 photos the app shuts down and i have to start over again every time. And the problem is not temporary, it happens all the time.

Pure Crap. For whatever reason they rejected every photo I put up for market and these are high quality photos and compared to several other photos on this app that make it to market, way better. Will never recommend or use this group again

Best Smartphone photography. Almost I used photography apps for the smartphone but this’s the one only they focus for what they start from. Keep it up. You’re Awesome!

Lots of bugs with iOS 11.1.2. Using the new iPad (2017) with eye em I run into a lot of bugs while working on pictures. The app crashes regularly as well as the changes are not always shown while in edit mode. Other then that I love eye em!

I can't upload photos. there is a problem close to one year tell now , and not been fixed , when i uploaded any photo , it just crashed , and exit the app . i hated too much cause i spend more than 5 year using this app , every time theree is a problem it still there and not fixed

They only accepted my dull. And unappealing pictures!! It’s like my top pictures are either too beautful or they assume I am plagiarizing pictures…. I am a professional photographer with more then 20 years of adobe editing experience…. What I post is legit, and all mines!!! I own a few cameras Nikon, canon and a Pentax!! 😶😶🙄🙄😵‍💫👎🏽

Great app. I love this app. It has a great community, helpful hints for a newbie like me and makes sharing photos fun with missions. I love it! Gives me a good confidence boost to get out there and keep shooting when my pics are liked.

Make $$$ from your iPhone and other photos. Since joining I have sold over a $1000 dollars worth of pictures! Almost anything can sell if it illustrates a story or concept. I belong to another micro stock agency but EyeEm beats it hands down!

App Crashes Any Time You Try To Upload, No Response From Customer Service. Basically title. It’s impossible to upload anything or get a response from their team. It also seems from other reviews that they don’t payout anymore but still sell your work. Very sketchy.

THIEVES. Eyeem are thieves. My images were removed by my request from EyeEm market. Now 2 years later I find them on Getty images for sale at 475 euros a pop. What have I ever earned? 0.01 cent. And 1.39 usd once. Wow. Now my images are being sold …when I log into my account it is completely empty. JUST WOW and i alrdy wrote this review and it disappeared so not only are they thieves and liars. They also manipulate their reviews. Wow wow wow wow wow. How pathetic must a company be. Amazing !!!

Love this App. So fun to upload images, share the same interests with others, make new friends and enjoy beautiful photography. A great way for amateur photographers and more advanced to be seen and even make a sale.

Do NOT get waste of your time.. So first off the app took a week to approve my photos and then says they were not Selected to be on the market!? These photos I took were with a very expensive high quality Canon camera and were excellent photos and I chose this app to sell them because so many people said I should. Do not waste your time/effort with this app

Upload fails every time! Pathetic!. My upload failed twice in five minutes and nothing was wrong with the photos!! I will be looking for alternatives until or unless this is fixed!! Shame on you!! Your app doesn’t even do its basic function! 😡😠👎🏻🤬

Do not load Sept 7th release version. Don't update to the latest version of this app released on Sept 7th. Running latest version of iOS on my iPad Air 2. When you open and close photos like in the popular section it eventually cuts the iPad screen in half so only half of the screen is being used on the iPad. No way to reset it back and The only way to fix it is to reboot.

Love EyeEm. I have been on EyeEm for a few years now and I love the site. I have sold around 800 photos via EyeEm and their partnership with Getty. I'm not getting rich but it's nice to get those "Congratilations you sold a photo!" emails!

An amazing app. EyeEm is probably the best of the best sites for those who want to showcase their photography as well as learn from some amazing photographers. Getting paid for photos is just the icing on the cake!

Not easy to use, visually cramped and disorganized. This App looks nice to begin wit, but it’s not easy to follow. It’s too visually crowded and disorienting. Uploading files is complicated. Pictures are taken off market without explanation, or the market option doesn’t show. I use another App that I like better in general.

Great exposure!. This app is great at getting your work “out there”. I’ve had three photos so far make it on Getty images. Also great to see other photographers work too. Definitely suggest to download if you love photography!!

So what’s been going on?. The app hardly gets updated anymore, there aren’t any more missions… has EyeEm shut down?
