Good update. Like the update with multiple playlists:) but noticed songs can only b moved over one by one. Takes a while. And I also have to press the edit playlist butter every time! But getting good. Noticed the ranking is actually working now, yeaaaa. Can't wait till next update

Uhh. Good, but huge issue. How the heck do I change the language to English??? There is an English version, yet no instructions on how to change it??? I can’t understand a thing and I’m pretty sure I accidentally logged out of my account… but how do I log back in if I can’t even read anything? The official website doesn’t even have any instructions that make sense

I can't listen to songs. It won't let me listen to some songs and it really bugs me so maybe if you could add more song like secret police and you know just songs you missed would be great and cendrillion

Playback Restricted. I like the way Nico box updated app looks, but every time I click on a song I want to play, or when I want to skip a certain song in my playlist, it keeps saying "Playback for this content is restricted" and it used to not say that before. All my songs worked fine and now this new update is giving me trouble. I really like this app but I just want that problem fixed because it's annoying.

Fantastic. After the update, I was really frustrated because I didn't know how to add songs to my playlists anymore. But after I figured it out, it has a great selection of vocaloid, utau, anime, and j-pop songs! For those who are still struggling, this is what you do: After you click on a song, click "nicosound". When the page comes up, go directly under the box with the picture in it and find the gray bar. Click the gray button with Japanese letters on it which is at the beginning of the bar. That lets you hear the song. To add it to a playlist, click the blue link that says "mp3" and pick a playlist. You have no idea how long it took me to figure that out since I don't know any kanji. Anyway, GREAT AP!

Uh yea.... Like I said I don't rely mind the cleaning of the cash but it is so annoying and yea it removes all my music and then I have to find new ones ....I would like this fixed in the next update...so I don't have to worry about making another list ....it's rely trouble some when this happens .... Other then that PUER WIN AND AWSOME!!

Excellent, except.... I've been using this app forever to listen to vocaloid and J-pop alike, however, recently with a new update I've been unable to listen to my "downloaded" music offline. Instead, a pop-up stating "Playback for this content is restricted" comes up and I'm unable to play the song. Whether this is a bug or intentional, I hope that it is reverted soon, as this was my go to app for all things vocaloid.

Crashes. I love this app and sure I complain about the download songs and stuff till I saw this update I love it but now it only plays one song and crashes and it getting really REALLY annoying plus can u fix the searches cause some song I try to look for aren't on here but then later I find it in a Japanese kanji title please fix it ^^

help. it's 12:30 am and I've honestly tried everything to fix this issue where it crashes whenever I try to open anything and it just won't?? Work?? I'm so defeated right now please fix this because I'm just,,, ITS TAKING UP TWO GIGS ON MY PHONE AND I CANT EVEN USE IT AND IM JUST INTERNALLY SOBBING I love this app though 10/10

Woot! Free nico app. Sweet! I can now listen to Vocaloid music. The search engine is a lot friendly than zoome TDKI app, yet, none of the section they have can't be view in video form. Oh well, I can't complain that you can add song to the playlist and listen to them without wifi connection.

Ugh!!!. When I try to play a song offline it tells me that the playback is restricted. I looked in the description of the app and noticed that you never mentioned anything about songs playing offline, but ,when I got the app about 2 years ago, i specifically remember that it told you otherwise. If you have removed this feature from the app, then I would like to tell you that you are going to lose popularity quickly, for many people have this app for the sole purpose of listening to music they can't buy anywhere, offline. I f this is just a bug, I suggest you fix this immediately!

Please help. Can you make it ios5 compatible? The newest I can update to on my 3rd gen iPod Touch is the previous update, and it's pretty buggy. If you aren't able to, can you make it so that the version before is available again? I have 461 songs on this app and it's hard to scroll through to the bottom when it might start bugging up and moving haltingly.

Great App. This is a really good app for viewing the vocaloid rankings and it's up to date. Unlike those other ones. It would be even more amazing to let us be able to view the videos and have it saved just like how u did the songs. Keep up the good work!

Good app for j-music fans. NicoBox is an awesome app for fans of Japanese music like Vocaloid or j-pop. Nothing compares in terms of availability and sound quality. However, English support is greatly lacking. If you can manage to navigate the UI, it’s well worth it as a supplement to another more mainstream music platform.

.... I haven't updated yet but I'm not sure what to do. I can't download any songs unless I update but I'm afraid I might lose some songs that are on my playlist (some have been deleted off nico nico but are still on my playlist) Will the update delete those songs?

Awesome for vocaloid!. I listen to a lot of vocaloid and iTunes doesn't sell some of the songs. I can get them here for free and I can listen to them without wi-fi! It was confusing for me at first but I figured out how to use it even if it was in Japanese. And some of it is in English. I love this app and happy I got it It was so worth the trouble. <3

Glad to see this back!. There's really nothing to complain about for this app; you can listen to and store songs from nico nico douga for free, while having an actual nico account costs money. Highly rates app.

Minimal issue, otherwise fantastic!. I absolutely love this app, although there is one issue, and that doesn't bother me toooo badly, but nevertheless - 1) You have to click on the thumbnail of the video, whereas I'm used to just tapping somewhere. I forget this many times, and end up flipping out because the video won't play. I've read in other reviews that some people cannot listen to music without wifi... I don't have this issue. Mine plays just fine without it... :/

Wow!. This is absolutely my favorite Japanese music app out there! I love it! It doesn't load some of the time but the offline playlist feature really makes is a must-have even still.

Downloading. Before the update, I could download the songs just fine, but now whenever I click on the song, it says Nicobox Convert A. I have no idea what it means, and when I click on it, it only brings me to a page where it says "Other songs is encoding." Nothing happens after that! I really loved this app, and this is confusing for me, so it would be helpful if you could try to make it less vague on the downloading~! I'm obsessed with the song The Lost Memory right now and I really want to listen to it wherever I go~<3

Used to be great. This app was all about downloading and accessing niconico PVs/songs. I’ve been a long user, but eventually the app changed its name and the option for English was gone. What a waste! There was a reason why I downloaded this app years ago and that’s because of its English-language support and its ease of use. Now it’s just another useless app that requires login to get your privacy information

Can't download my favorite songs.... Yesterday I bought a new phone, and I re-downloaded this app. When I was going through my songs and re-downloading them, I noticed that songs that I had previously had on my playlist couldn't be downloaded anymore because of song length or because they haven't been converted yet. I had to delete several of my old songs that had previously worked that now "couldn't be converted". I had just gotten used to using nicobox converter a, but now I am trying to use PIAPRO (which I don't understand at all) to get the songs that this app can't convert. Please try and hurry with converting the longer songs and the ones that you haven't done yet. I'm really regretting getting a new phone because of this ;-;

Wonderful app, now that it works again.. I absoultely LOVED the app up until version 3.0 was released. However, once I updated it to version 3.0, the app never opened anymore! This was a huge problem for me since July, and it got to the point where I thought reinstalling the app and losing all of my playlists would fix it. However, I never uninstalled it and instead, waited patiently for updates to be released. Finally, after nearly 2 months of being unable to use the app and suffering from a vocaloid song deficiency, the app was updated to version 3.2, and not only was I surprised to see that it was working flawlessly once again, but it also kept all of my playlists and every song in them! I'm so happy it works again!

Minimal issue, but I love this app!. Ok, this app is AMAZING, but there is one problem: a majority of the songs featured aren't converted and you guys don't have as many of the "more famous" songs a lot of people hear. Other than that, (and the need for more Teto Kasane songs) I have no complaints about this app! Keep on rockin'~ Chaos

Love it!. Such a great app! I can finally listen to the music on nico. I only wish I could download music in bulk and that I could browse through the app while the video is downloading, but none of those are big problems.

Great App. This is a great app. This is especially good for people who, like me, have a thing for Japanese music. I also love that this app is free. My only complaint is that some/most of the time when I pick a song, it says that it's either not available or that it can't be played at this time. I don't know what's wrong, but I do hope that this problem can be fixed. Other than that, I'd recommend this to anyone. (and everyone) Thank you for having this great app available and free ! ありがとう!

I'm getting tired.. Well when I first downloaded this app a long time ago it worked fine (:, but then ita started telling me the song I wamted was unavalible -.- and it went like that for more than 6 months. Finally it got an update but when I updated it it froze at the beguinning so I decided to download the app again and when i did it worked until I was gonna search for a song again and it said unavalible! So please fix it I really loved this app it was the only place were I could find ALL of my favorite songs.

?. I downloaded this app before and loved it...now I've updated it. I can see the song listings, but they won't play and say that songs can't be cached, that an update will come out. I will be patient and wait for the fix. In the meantime, thank you for updating this wonderful app

Pretty Good. This app is pretty good! But there’s a little bug. At the “playlists” part, there’s a thing at the bottom that says, “how to keep playlists?” I clicked it, and everything was Japanese, and it wanted me to signup for something and I didn’t even know what it was. Please fix this.

Hot and Cold. Nicobox is a nice app, it converts video into mp3 from the site's videos. But when I say hot and cold, i mean sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. When it's hot, the quality of the song is good(depending on the video but it takes a few seconds to convert. When it's cold, it doesn't convert songs at ALL. So maker of Nicobox, please update this app, it's an awesome app but it just doesn't work for some reason.

♡. After the update my playlists came back! Aside from that situation, I really like this app! I can listen to music without using my data and it's essentially free unless you sign up for a premium account.

I LOVE THIS APP!!!. I use this app to listen to all my favorite utaites. I can listen to music even if l leave the app, use another app, or turn off my phone, and I can use it to listen to music with or without wifi. The app can create playlists without having to make an account. On playlists you can shuffle the songs, make your favorite song looped, and make the playlist repeat itself. I've played this song while sleeping and its still playing music when I wake up. To top it all off this app uses very little battery so you can use it all day without having to worry about your battery. I would like to thank the creators if this app 😊

Great app, but version 2.0 is... Interesting.. First off, let me say, I love NicoBox, but I hate version 2.0. The new GUI is very intuitive and looks good, yes, but the primary issue is the fact that songs say "Playback for this content is restricted." I am aware that you can fix this by going through the songs while you are connected to the Internet, but I have over 200 songs, and they're all downloaded onto my device, why should I have to do that? I'll still do it, because I'm starting to go through Heisei Project withdrawals, but why should I have to?

Too Cool!..... It's perfect! I can listen to all my Japanese music on one app :) BUT I can only seem to download like 3 songs every few hours... Depending on how many bars I have... And it seems after so many downloads it won't let me get anymore.. It kept saying "not available" so I deleted the app and am re installing it to just start over sense I know what songs o get now.., could be something to fix!...<-it was like tht last week... Now NOTHING plays >.< FIX IT!! Please!

It's okay..... I think (although the converting thing is SUPER frustrating...) that for a free app, it's good! Just PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE fix the converting thing, it get extremely frustrating and annoying after a while....And I've only had this app for less than 24 hours. But again, i think for a free app it is sufficent~

Bugs in new version. This app is really great. This new version seems to be rather buggy though. I've noticed it runs much slower, has trouble loading thumbnails in playlists, blurs the thumbnail in the currently playing song, and doesn't scroll smoothly. It still plays the music just fine though an I hope these bugs will be fixed soon.

Slow loading on new update. The new update has an entire new way of downloading the songs, and can be somewhat tricky to figure out at first. Once you get a hang of it, it takes a very long time for a single song to be downloaded. About ten times longer than the first version... Please fix for 5 stars!

What the heck are nicomimi and billisound...?. This is my third or fourth review for this app. It's working fine, but with the update there was that "NicoBox Convert(a)" thing when I tried to download songs a few months ago. The download worked as it usually does, but it's kind of weird and I don't like it. I guess it was supposed to be, like, a new, easier way to download songs? I miss the way it used to be.... Then with the next update the NicoBox Convert(a) was removed? I liked it much more when there was just the original two ways do downloads. Now there's like, Nicomini, bilisound, and PIAPRO's still there, but they're all confusing and I just want the old Nicobox back. ?

Needs English Version. I’ve used this app for a while, and I’m trying to look for the settings that can switch the language to English. Either I’m not able to find it or there’s no English setting…so can you please make an English version or a setting to make the text English??

A Godsend. Excellent app. It works perfectly, and the one time the server went down and I went to Twitter to complain, the developer took care of the issue within minutes. It's one of the only ways to download MP3s, thanks to the deletion of NicoSound. By the way, to the reviewer complaining about the "NicoBox (a)" thing, it's required because NicoSound (the old way of downloading music) was taken down. So, NicoSound has its own conversion service. Thanks to the developer for making this app!

My precious app ^_^. I find the app quite user-friendly. It even features trending charts to introduce fresh songs on a regular basis. I appreciate how I could organize and enjoy my music with maximum ease. I've used Nico Box for over a year now (it's easily my most frequently-used playback app) in conjunction with my account, and I highly recommend for NicoNico users who love their precious videos and wish to keep up with users they follow~~~

I dunno. Ok, when I scroll down to a certain song it freezes and then the app closes. I don't know the reason for that happening, but other than that happening it still works, it still plays songs. But since there is no "preview song" I can't delete any new song I download that I don't like, so the freezing and closing is a problem

This song is not converted. Really, I'd have no problem with the app, it has almost all my favorite songs, but 80% of the time, I cant play them because they aren't converted. It's really frustrating and a huge inconvenience. Is there any way this can be fixed or less annoying to where it just doesn't show songs that aren't converted? Because really, it's driving me insane. There are hardly any songs I can listen to, and it's so frustrating, I could just scream.

Server in maintenance. The app won't work keeps giving me server in maintenance. If its an error fix it plz if ur server really takes THIS long to maintain I'm just purely disappointed. Overall a low ranking.

I love this!. Vocaloid is quickly becoming my favourite music to listen to, and this app is great for finding new music! I haven't had any of the problems others are talking about! I hope, if they have been fixed, they'll remember to change their reviews! I can see this becoming one of my most used apps :)

Really convenient. I love this app and check it daily :) however I remembered a year ago you could listen to the song before actually downloading and downloading only required a simple click instead of having to choose between download site links. Very great but one problem.... I adore this application, it is one of my most treasured ones. I love how I can listen to all the songs that I love without having to be connected to the Internet. Recently, though, I have been having this problem where when I go to a playlist and start listening to a song, after the song it will not play the next one automatically. I usually fall asleep to the music I have on here but I can't because it just stops after one song... If that made any sense.

It's great but.... I was really excited when I found an app that could play my favorite vocaloid songs on the go instead of Youtubing them all time, however, when I try to listen to a song, I get a message that says it's not available right now for every single selection. Because of this problem I am greatly disappointed and will have to give it a low ranking.

Good if you can read Japanese. I would generally recommend this app to any Vocaloid fan. Pros: -The audio is usually pretty HQ - the rankings are a great way to discover new music - you can download playlists without having to pay - The ads are way less frequent than, say, free-version Spotify. They are often just promoting a different song by playing a 15-sec sample, and are almost always different. - The cover mixes are a cool feature (a bit of a novelty imo, but whatever) - Their home page makes it easy to find users, playlists, etc. That might interest you Cons: - I don’t even know how you would use the app if you can’t read Japanese on at least a basic level. Maybe you could guess, but other than that it is not English-speaker friendly - watching MVs requires a Nico Nico account. Making a NND account requires Japanese and is not very intuitive if you’re used to YouTube - You can’t download individual songs (at least in the free version, idk about premium) Tl;dr If you want to use this app you better also download Duolingo.

Don't update. If u still have the o,d version, don't update. I don't understand Japanese and I don't know how to download songs from the pages I liked the way it used to be where it was automatic. I do still like being able to listen to my playlists while offline and being able to lock and still listen but I don't understand how to add sings anymore. :(

Great!~. An awesome app! I had to admit I was rather surprised it was this good. The one problem I have, is some videos won't play. Especially when I use the 'search' feature. All the videos that come up will not play. The videos that do work, are top notch and wonderful. I can't wait to see an update. (>^.^<)

newest update. I was anticipating the update since the tag/search function wasn't working for a while. I love how the download process bar is back, telling us how much time is left. the new layout is similar to the notes app layout which matches the iOS update. the only thing I wish was added is the option is to continue browsing while the song is downloading. many thanks for this app and updates! much love!

Good app! Needs a little more work.... This app is awesome!! I like how you can play the songs without wifi and how it is always up to date. I think the only problems are that the shuffle option doesn't work and that many of the songs "aren't converted" or are "currently not available"... Please fix these issues! Thank you.

Great App! A Couple Changes.... This is such an awesome app. I love that I can now find, discover and make playlists out of all my favourite Vocaloid songs! However, it would be nice if when unplugging my iPhone from a docking system or adapter, the music would automatically pause. I always have to turn of the music manually when I unplug it from my car or other speaker system. :( Also I wish playlists had Shuffle. Otherwise, I love this app - it's become one of my favourites! Thank you!

Not improved much. Compared to the original version, the current updated version is not much better. Biggest issue? The fact that basically no video on niconico can play immediately, forcing you to wait.

Needs improvement. Can you let us make an converting reservation or something? I tried to download some, still "other songs are converting" almost always prevented me from getting them. Therefore, I don't want to check whether the tunes are convertible every single time anymore. So, please.

Amazing. This app is one of a kind. I love how you can just get it there and listen to it anywhere. Very thoughtful, but, I really bothers me how a lot of the songs I like are not "converted". I think it would be really awesome if it was updated. Its just plain awesome! ;)

Sexy. Despite some songs not being converted, This makes keeping and listening to nico songs easier when I have no Internet.

Was great until.... This app was great until the songs on my playlist stopped working. On both my iPhone and iPod, the songs in my playlist will not play. Is anyone else having this problem?

Glitch?. Okay, I love the app but for the past 2 days whenever I open it and try and search a song or check rankings it shuts off. Is this a glitch or is it my phones fault.

Search Problem. Even though the app and all looks great, I can't to seem to Search up most other songs I want not from the discover listings ;_; makes me sad, I listen to Vocaloid everyday and I can't too seem to get most songs now ;_;

Ugh!!!!. Ok, just want to say, I absolutely LOVED Nicobox. It gave me all my songs free, and it worked offline! But when I updated, the app deleted itself and doesn't appear on my home screen! The AppStore says I have it, and says "open" but the app doesn't open! It's not on my home screen! I'm heartbroken that I can't listen to my songs anymore! Plz fix!!!!!!

Fix the bugs!!!. I love this app, but ever since the recent update, I haven't been able to download any more songs. On every option, it says "unable to download" and it says that every time I try to download from each website. Please fix so I can keep enjoying this awesome app!

Make A New Playlist. If u had this app and then updated your iPod, you need to make a new playlist. It works now!!

I love it. I love this app but lately it won't let me download song like it loads all the way but right when it finishes it blanks out back to the homescreen

Help. With this new update, it deleted over 6 of my playlist! Please fix it because I'm not about to go through and re-download over 500 songs.

Nicobox is EPIC.. I lovelovelove love nico box soooooo much! the only problem is that the other day it wouldnt let me listen to any music that i downloaded. when i downloaded a new song, it let me listen to that, but not the older ones.

It's like a vocaloid iTunes for free. It's really good but it's not letting me play all my songs in the playlist plz plz plz plz have a solution for this soon arigato ^^

Needs English version.. I have been using this app for a long time lately with my NicoNico account, and it's really great, but ever since i updated it there's no more English version, it would be really nice

Um... Other than that.... This morning I opened up my Nico Box and what happened to the volume bar? It disappeared! Other than that, this is an awesome app to listen to your favorite Vocaloid songs or Nico Singer songs! I highly recommend that any Vocaloid Fan would love it! <3

I'm kinda angry.... This app was really good up until the last update. Now it is really confusing and frustrating since I have to go onto the website to preview the song. Luckily I can read Japanese and understand it, but for someone who can't figuring out the websites would be extremely difficult. I think it should be changed back to the old style, which was really simple to understand and use.

Fine~. It work well, but most of time the songs I want to listen are not available. What is the problem?

Update pls. I like the app and i don't have to download each song in my phone. But for a few weeks it unable to play music offline and it just freezes the screen. Can I get an update?

WAS fine. I had reoccurring problems in the past of nico box not being able to download any songs...and now it came back. Nicomimi won't allow me to download anymore songs and billsound won't even appear (it's page just stays blank. And PIAPRO is just confusing. Now I can't download anymore music :( PLEASE FIX

:/. Since the update, the songs won't play without wifi. They used to play from your playlist without wifi before. This is my biggest concern, I really enjoy this app but i want to listen to music on the road, and most of the songs are not on iTunes.

Was great at first. There were quirks when I couldn't download, but when it downloaded it worked great. However, it became deleted from cache after a few days and now I can't listen to them and have to download again :/.

Problem. I love this app,but right after I got it it started saying error and I don't know what it means! It's driving me crazy since I just got it so I'm begging for you to fix this...:(

Not That Happy. I restored my iPod, decided to check it, saw I needed to download the songs again (and had those "download" icons to touch), only to realize that it only downloads the first song on the playlist. I really, really don't want to do this for 400+ songs. Please fix this.

Needs fixing. I love this app because I can get my Japanese music for free but you need to fix the caching problem because I have to go threw 20 or more songs just to find one I can download and sometimes I still can't find one

Playlist issue :/. I have the issue that the songs in your playlist won't play with wifi anymore 😔 I want to know if this will be fixed or not, I don't want to go finding every song I already have again. Thanks for reading this!

An excellent app!. It's a great app, but the new version is not working. I cannot click anything after I drag the list. It turns to a big thing when you want to download new songs on nicosound. Hope you can fix this bug!

Doesn't work?. Ever since the last few updates I can't download songs anymore, every time I click a song it says "cannot download due to circumstances" it's annoying! It's no longer my favorite music app unless they can fix the problem

How do you make a new playlist?. I love this app, it has all my fav songs and Vocaloids and more. I only have one problem... I don't know how to make a second playlist!

Touhou!. Well, 3 stars because it has my favorite game series, Touhou. -2 because it will only say "that I can't listen to this music, and to try again later" when I click on video or track. I have a 3GS, btw.

Nico Box. I love this app! I'm a huge Vocaloid fan, so being able to have all this music is great. However, I feel that the search engine could use a little improvement, but other than that, this app is awesome!

I like it. I love the app itself but I wish there was a related feature and a translation option. It's very hard to work with in a different language.

SEARCH PROBLEM. I don't know if anyone else has this problem but for some reason I'm not able to search any music on the search page. It wasn't like that before. PLEASE FIX IT ASAP. I still love this app!!

About the update.... The update seems to not be working for me. Only half of each song is playing, and I can't seem to skip to songs using the buttons. It also won't play songs once I exit the app like it did before I updated it. Could you try to fix that for me?? Before the update it worked perfectly, too.

Vocaloid fans, rejoice. I normally HATE rating apps five stars, as there usually is a flaw or two, but I can't find any with NicoBox. It does it's job, and it does it perfectly. If you like Touhou songs or Vocaloid music, you have to get this app.

BEST APP EVER!!!. WOWIWO!!! This thing is PERFECT. Just... Just wow. I love it. I'm listening to songs as I type this up~ hahah, I've never been happier :D!!!!!!!!!!! And FYI it tells you how to download music. The 'MP3' button is pretty self explanatory xD. I recommend this 100%! I wish I could add a million stars to this. Haha.

Playlists Disappearing. NicoBox has always been my favorite app to listen to J-Pop songs. It has almost all of the songs I want to download and I can hear songs without wifi or data. After the update, most of my playlists has been deleted. PLEASE FIX THIS PROBLEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!! Thank you♡♡♡

The only thing that I would like you to fix is that some songs when I click on them it says that they are not available yet. Good, but.... I love this app. But I can't even listen to music because every time I press on my playlist with songs on it, it freezes. It also freezes (not quite frequently for me) when I load a results of a search. Please Fix!

Nice, just one problem. Whenever I try to fast forward to a certain part, it won’t let me. Otherwise nice app!
