What is mybikerides app? MyBikeRides is a fun and easy to use iPhone app for tracking your biking activities. It provides advantages over other GPS-based apps:

EASY TO USE
Just tap “Start” and the app does the rest. There is no account setup required. No registration required. The app does not even require a WiFi or cell phone connection, just a GPS signal. MyBikeRides operates in the background so you can use your iPhone to make and receive phone calls, play music, or run other apps all the while MyBikeRides is tracking your activity.
AUTO-PAUSE
MyBikeRides has an auto-pause feature that allows you to pause up to 60 minutes (by default, settable to 5-60 minutes in Settings) before the app asks you if your activity has “Ended?” With Auto Pause, only the time you are actively moving is used to calculate your average speed.
NEVER LOST
With MyBikeRides you are never lost! You can request the app to retrace your route back to where you started even if you do not have any network connection. It will let you know when you are on-track and alert you if you should get off the trail back. Even if you accidentally terminate the app or if the app gets terminated by the system, the app can be resumed and show you the way back.
BACK-ON-TIME
Have you ever got caught out after it’s too dark to see or got back late. This is because you didn’t know when to head-back. With MyBikeRides, all you need to do is set the “Return Time” or select “Back by Dark” and it does the rest. It alerts you when it is time to head-back, displays how fast you need to go, and how fast you are currently going. It also displays an Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) back at your starting point based on your current location and speed.
With MyBikeRides, you can set the “Return Time” when you start your activity or anytime during your activity and you can even choose a different route back and MyBikeRides can still get you back-on-time!
SAVE AND SHARE YOUR ACTIVITIES
The app automatically saves your route map and activity details locally on your iPhone. You can share your route map and activity details via email or Facebook, The app can also assist you in marking any number of waypoints and allowing you to include any number of photos with each waypoint. At any time you can email the waypoint locations and optional photos to anyone. This is great to let others know about hazards, points of interest or setting a future meeting location.
BATTERY SAVING
MyBikeRides can automatically detects when you have ended your activity and shuts off the GPS to save your battery.

Awesome app. Impressively accurate- on the money! My computer, Garmin and this app were extremely close to distance, speed and speed. I did forget to double click to start and stop once or twice, but now I have it down pay!

Has yet to work correctly for me.. Shuts off part way through ride. Have yet to have it work through an entire ride.
Kinda clunky sometimes, inaccurate.. to operate compared to my old Vetta C-20 cycling computer and the C-20 does not require constant background app refresh to be toggled on. This app wants to know where you’re at “always” versus just during use. Why is that? With each use of this app, “start” requires and demands this app to always set refresh in the background and to be “always” tracked which uses up battery life while not riding miles. Shut down the always option for while using and I’ll refresh while on Wi-Fi.
Kudos. This app is pretty kool. I jog, bike and run! This App is very accurate on dist. And time. I love the Mapping and track info as you can back trac without getting lost! Sweet.
Small. The readout is to small to see while riding. They’re other things but I don’t feel like writing an essay
Nice, simple, effective. This app is great because it provides the important basics without unnecessary gadgetry. I like that it is self contained without wanting save my data in the cloud. If it could save and display my routes on a map, it would be perfect. Worth the $3.99!
Nice. Easy to use, accurate time and mileage, easy access to history. Great when it starts. But sometes. It doesn't.
It's Okay, But There's Better. The data given is fine and the locator is good, but I wanted to have a complete mapping of my route - which I can't find on here - nor can I interface it with my twitter or Facebook accts. to send to my accountability group. Disappointed & hope upgrades address these issues!
Love this app. I’ve been using MyBikeRides now for three years. I love it. It’s very easy to use and it enables me to track my routes, times, distance and speed with ease. The app also enables me to share my information with others of forward it to myself for more detailed analysis. If you’re considering an app to track your rides, give this one serious consideration!
Rides Great!. I have used it twice so far and it works great! You don't need a bike computer if you have this app. I wish I bought it before I bought the dam computer that I still haven't figured out yet.

Really helpful for anyone who loves good apps.. I bike a lot. To college, work, and around. Now I know how fast I go, how far I travel and other useful information. It's cool that it shows in maps where you have gone and it's very accurate. GREAT APP
Don't be out after dark!. This app has it all and can even tell you when to be back before it gets dark. Not to mention that it is totally accurate and it knew how far I went so I could track my progress each ride to see how I've improved. The important thing is my battery is still full after my ride. Super Happy and No Regrets!
Disappointed. Very disappointed, not worth 3.99 better options out there for free.
Must have for any bikers. Works great with GPS signal.fast and simple to use just hit start,and go go go . No info to fill in The my rides app I belive is a must have simple app to use @$3.99 good deal . Have checked out other more expensive to hard to use one button and your off
It Works well. Got serious about riding my bike again after 10 year hiatus.... always had a computer tied to the wheel before. Found this app after people at the bike store tuned up my antique Gary Fisher pseudo mountain bike and told be to get with the times.... found this app and ride every other day for at least 20 minutes, used the app for about 50 miles lost 13 pounds and like how the app tracks my progress. No bugs and is just what I needed.
Great app!. Be nice if there was an option to keep the screen on all the time.
Great tracker. Recommended for anyone looking to track distances and calories burned. Only bad quality is will stop tracking when phone battery falls below 20%.

Everything You Need. Everything I need in one app. Works flawlessly for me. Gives me all the data a 63 year old needs & allows performance comparisons from one ride to another assuming they are the same route. Administrator is very quick with responses to questions. I would have liked an instructions page to be certain I wasn’t missing any features, but it is rather intuitive.

View details and report crashes app. I can't view details or review a trip report without the app crashing. Please test and fix. Also think about adding a elevation change graph to show all the changes, instead of change from point A to point B. thanks.
Doesn't work. App stopped recording my ride the first time. Tried a second time and app ran entire ride but never recorded anything to history.

My Bike Rides. Really good. Works really well. Very accurate. Would suggest including a record a map of your ride as part of History. Good value for money. UPDATE: Maps and records are very accurate. Well worth buying this. Highly recommended.

Not impressed.. This app was quite disappointing. Very little useful functionality, and always can't find GPS signal the first time or two.
