App no longer working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app but the app will not open. I receive a message that says “Something went wrong. Could not connect to the internet. Please check your connection and try again.” But I am connected to the internet and retrying to launch the app results in the same error message.

Great App and easy to use!. Yes, Groupon gets a big chunk of the money and the merchant has to give up 75% of the value but the merchant isn’t having to spend advertising money up front and not know wether customers will actually respond to the others offers you may have elsewhere? With Groupon you only pay when someone spends money and commits to being your customer!!!! You’re not wasting money wondering if customers will come! Even if a customer doesn’t buy your Groupon we are still getting exposure and the more a customer see’s your name the better it is for us overall!! Just do it!

you lose more than you can win. I tried Groupon as a campaign to promote my business. I guessed it’s good as models but be aware that Groupon will take 50% of your earnings plus extra fees so you are only keeping about 45% of the discount you already made. Also I’ve been having trouble on getting paid. Until today I don’t know if they will pay me or not.

Ripping off small businesses. Hello I’ve called, emailed, and sent chat; no response. How you do you charge my customer $337 on a Groupon voucher and only paid us $36 I just don’t remember Groupon coming out there helping us move the customer so I’m curious on what went wrong here.

Think before you decide to use. If you set up of price of 50, they will take 50% from the amount customer paid, which means you only get less than $25 because you also need to “payment adjustments”. They also do another promotion that devalue your expected price without any notification and there is NO way to opt out. They choose to do it because they want to keep their Groupon customers, BUT they let you to share the responsibility.

Great right now. I’ve only been using this app for a few days now so far so food! I haven’t gone deep into the app yet but once I do an updated review will be coming. It’s been working great so far!

The amount of money they take is ridiculous.. I’ve been using this app for the past 6 months at least and the amount of money they take v.s. the amount of “clients” I get is not even close to worth the amount of work I have to do. They already take 50% of your payment and then the random “Payment Adjustment” are truly annoying. I still don’t understand why they even occur and I’ve read the fine print. Overall it’s very frustrating. You’re better off saving money by paying for advertising from a reliable company and keeping all the money from the services for yourself than to use Groupon Merchant. Definitely don’t recommend.

0 stars. If I could give 0 stars I would. Warning to all small businesses they take a large amount of your payments. Even if you don’t advertise your campaign. So if you choose to do 50% off and then they take 50% they may also take another 30% and say it’s because they pushed the deal. You have no choice in them doing this and don’t know if they even did it or not. I offer a service that’s 155$, I give 25% off and somehow in the end I got paid 17$??? . If you stay on Groupon your business will go under. Also there is no service support for the business. I emailed that I wanted my business removed and they didn’t respond for 1 month. Now they’re telling customers who’s Groupons have expired that they can redeem them and I’m basically getting 18$ for $100 deals. There is a class action lawsuit going on now for businesses that have requested to be taken down off of their site and are not. Groupon deserves it bc they practice bad business and their thieves.

Not worth it. They take 50% of the funds for each sale and sometimes up to 75% when they “advertise” your product and offer an “additional discount” to customers that save your ad or show an interest in your product or service. It’s not worth it. Specially since you have to mark the product up by 30-50% to entice customers. Unless the product is inexpensive with a high mark up, you’re bound to lose money

Worth. So many more people being notified about my business. Some of them have stayed for years. One person going on four years. Thankful for the opportunity.

Save yourself and RUN. Groupon is literally robbing small businesses, I got paid $1.20. Yes you read that right, $1.20. For a 60 min facial. I took a loss in supplies (and time) because Groupon decided to steal my cut and there is nothing I can do about it. Groupon is where small businesses come to die.

Crashing. Keeps crashing and not sending notifications like new bookings. Has going down in functionality this past month.

Worst mistake ever. This was the worse mistake made by me for my business. Groupon takes more than half of your money which is fine to help build clients. But there is no way to reach out to someone to help us. There numbers do not work. We have put in for our campaigns to end for months and they won’t end them due to us trending m. We call nothing we email it says no service when I’m on WiFi. My next step will be contacting and attorney.

App Glitches. I have been using this app for at least a year and a half for the most part it works fine. However my booking calendar has glitched at least three times where I cannot access it.

Ugh!. I’ve been trying to make a campaign for almost a week and it keeps saying “Couldn’t establish a connection. Try again” !!!

DONT DO IT. I started a campaign last year, sold about 10 Groupons—but had to cancel my campaign due to staffing shortage and having to move my location to another address. I asked Groupon to refund the customers immediately—within two weeks of launch—We never received ANY payment from Groupon. Groupon declined to refund the customers until months after campaign—so I had irate people demanding services that my company had never received payment for. I let the customers know Groupon was instructed to refund them—but didn’t see a single client. When I was ready to launch a new campaign I was denied due to customer dissatisfaction-despite seeing zero clients. They still haven’t refunded one of the customers but expired their Groupon. Essentially they took my customers money and blamed the business they were supposed to help and promote. Highly advise staying away from this company who takes and hold your customers money and blames you for their lackluster and questionable business practices. I will never use them again as a customer or business owner.

There’s potential but. So at least I’ve have had SOME business but now they’re saying my license in invalid?! The audacity.. then there’s no way of sending documents.. too much work for the very little and mediocre clientele. The clientele they send you devalue your business, tip are hit or miss and it’s just not practical. I recommend this only if you’re desperate and need SOMETHING..

Great for business!. This was my first time doing a deal on Groupon and it was a great experience. Tons of people inquired and viewed my deal, which is nice for exposure. I also booked a nice amount of clients through Groupon. Definitely will be running another deal. I recommend Groupon for all my fellow entrepreneurs.

Groupon Merchant. Completely Ludacris for any kind of stylist trying to give local deals. The clients order massive deals and do not need to provide contact information. The order deals. Never schedule an appointment and I guess they go back and ask for refunds or something but completely ridiculous THEY SHOULD HAVE TO PROVIDE CONTACT DETAILS AFTER PAYMENT FOR US TO FOLLOW UP WITH CONSULTATION CALLS!

Doesn’t work. The app doesn’t work and glitches, there is nobody you can contact on the phone due to “Covid” even tho the pandemic was 2 years ago! The say there is no trace of my account and you have to wait days for an email reply

I am not getting pay since ever😡. Is been months since I start work with Groupon and the don’t pay me the own me more than 400 usd in my work and is so frustrating because they don’t have phone support and simply don’t care solve this problem. I know is difficult have clients if you are new but be aware with this company they really don’t pay for your work.

Awsome app. The first time use this app , everything easy, this is the best way to start your business.

Not great so far. It’s a little disappointing to find that on my first time trying to redeem a Groupon purchase, I am met with both the app and the website not functioning. It’s been this way for a few hours now. Customer has come and gone and I have no way to redeem the coupon for the work I did.

Horrible App. This app is so bad. Where to even begin? I’ve been trying to setup a campaign from my iPad for hours now and can’t get any further than the Upload Photos section. One, it’s stupid that it’ll only take landscape oriented photos - I’m a barber and no one takes a portrait of a client in Landscape - so even after giving up on that, when I try to use the cheesy stock photos, it just crashes repeatedly! If I try to skip the photos section entirely and go to the next step, all I get is a blank screen! I’ve had NOTHING but problems with the cumbersome setup of this app from day one. Over it!

Huge mistake. I am writing this review to help someone make a better decision and run as fast you can, away from Groupon. The app doesn’t let you pause your campaign or lower limits in order to accommodate vouchers. I have had to reach out in order to request pausing, etc (I was told in the beginning I would have the power to pause but that is not the case) and no one is responding. I don’t know why I am being ignored except they just want more money and don’t care about the overwhelm of people purchasing vouchers and then basically harassing me about booking a service when I can’t handle this volume. They do not care at all. I am trying to get out of this but it seems impossible. Please save yourself!!!! Do not ever do Groupon for your business. It’s too late for me, but save yourself!!!!

Removing your deal is so hard. I haven’t even been able to remove the deal, they take for ever to do it. Is not worth it any more. Support doesn’t answer the message I sent. It’s taking a lot more money they said and they do crazy discounts whenever they want.

No support. You can’t even call support. You have to message back and forth for days when you should be able to call. Customer service for merchants is trash

Rip off. I will no longer use your services. On a deal that you charged my clients $95 to purchase, you only pay me $11?! There’s no reason whatsoever that I should only make $11 on a $95 purchase. Oh wait! I forgot that on top of the discount I already have given you give an extra 20% so then on top of that I only get paid $11 when all you’re doing is advertising my business and yet I spent hours on my work for my clients. You guys are a rip off and scam.

Love it!!!. This makes it so easy to track my Groupon sales and make sure they are redeemed correctly aka getting paid. The only thing I would like to see is a way to contact my customers by phone, email or something so I can make sure all of my vouchers are redeemed before they expire. Help!!

Parasitical company. Groupon has changed. They are only in it to make money and boost their stock price, many of the employees that work there are not honest, not everyone of course but the dealings I’ve worked with and not good people they lie straight to your face. This is a perfect example of a company that went wrong and it’s sad because it one time they were semi-ethical.

DO NOT GO THROUGH GROUPON. Advertising through facebook and Instagram is so much cheaper than going through them! They took 50% of the money right off the bat and then took another 25% for no reason when they FINALLY paid me! My account manager even told me they could move the margin so I’d make more and then came back and said they couldn’t and I’d have to stick with paying them half the price. I could have made $400 not using them and paying maybe $20-40 in advertising but instead I made $115. It even took a week to cancel my sale and people were still allowed to buy them during that time. NEVER AGAIN!

Career mom. I know Groupon gets a lot of flak for how much they take from their merchants. I’m the only provider for my family and I’ve managed to keep a roof over our heads for 18 months now. Groupon has been huge in getting my business up and running bc they do all the foot work. Special thanks to my contact Kayla for being so epic!

Not very good APP. This APP would die itself whenever I trying to pull up a client’s name! Not very efficient my opinion, after for being their merchant for a couple of years, Groupon is going downhill Their new CEO who doesn’t know how to treat their merchants! Stay away !!

Very poor customer service system, don’t download, you will lose money. Don’t use this website service. It’s a deceptive Internet service. When you want to collect money, you can contact them right away. When you need a refund or other services, you can’t contact them. No matter if you call, leave a message or send an email, they just don’t reply.

DONT DO IT!!!!!!!. DONT DO IT!!!!!! Groupon will f##### you over like nobody else!!!!! 1. my pay for 1 deal should be $115 per treatment and $21 for other and I barely receive $4-7!!!!!!! Sometimes NOTHING due to they run „discount deals” all the time. 2. They dont stand by merchant. Crazy client (she is under mental treatment) bought voucher for 2 treatments, came for one, we redeemed voucher, she had one more to go. She had dispute with permanent make up artist i reffered her to, when she dragged me in the middle i tried to explain her that artists price was for brows OR eyeliner, she was insisting to get BOTH for PRICE OF ONE!! Nothing to do with treatment she got from me and liked it. So because she was unhappy with permanent make up artist she called Groupon and asked for refund on MY VOUCHER!!!! AND THEY DID IT!!! So i provided 1 treatment for free!!!!! And when I called merchant support THEY DID NOTHING TO HELP ME !! Or reemborse me for treatment I already did!!!! Will never run another groupon campaign. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Shady. Hello, Groupon recently reach out to me to restart a campaign with them. Upon this agreement I was very specific about certain instructions that I would like customers to adhere to before scheduling his or hers appointment. Once the campaign was up and running I reached out to my dedicated account representative Cole Eggenberger who was unkind, unprofessional, and paused my account immediately because Groupon didn’t uphold their part of the bargain per usually. If I were you, do not do business with this company. The don’t pay the merchants(I just redeemed a voucher and they are not going to pay me for it because they say I told them to refund all the customers who have bought groupons from me, yet they haven’t refunded a single customer). There customer service is horrible and most of all the really don’t care about the merchant. Go out, utilize social media and other platforms where you receive a better return and you don’t give away free services when the company decides not to pay.

Bottom of the barrel. They let just about anyone purchase on their site. Low quality customers looking for best for the least $$ (which is to be expected I guess) The issue is there is NO vetting the person coming into your business, unlike other corps where you can give the customer a rating for unpleasant experiences, they can simply go on to the next business and purchase another Groupon to go terrorize someone else. They are entitled because they already “paid” you, rude, late, often don’t even tip for the hugely discounted service. So you basically end up working for free! Two customer have had to be escorted out by the police and I’m told they’re still able to move on and keep buying vouchers! When you try to edit the fine print I found Groupon removed it without my approval! What I’ve learned is no matter how nice, comfortable, upscale what you provide is, Groupon will always devalue it, then add an additional discount on top. They won’t return because they are groupons customers not yours. My recommendation? Use for a couple months max. Build what you can and stop before they ruin your rep. Nothing worse than someone demanding more than their coupon covers next to your actual customer paying full price. Save yourself the headache and get social media savvy instead. Tale a class on it, will cost less than selling a voucher to only one or two customers (for me about $150 chunk they take PER SALE.)

Great Start. Groupon has been great in helping me to start my new business! I love the ease of the app and redeeming the Groupon

Groupon merchant is a scam. I’ve had the worst experience with Groupon thus far. My campaigns have been closed out of spite bc of the account Bradford Williams. Be careful when your asked your opinion on they’re performance. If they don’t like your response they with close your account without any communication. They’re staff is poorly trained. They have no live reps to talk to everything is through email or bot chat. As a merchant you’ll have to give up 75% of your money. There account managers never reach out unless it’s a major issue. Heck I didn’t even know I had a new account manager until there was another issue. When you choose an option for new clients only they DO NOT PROMOTE your business as frequently. They will continue to sell it to clients that have already purchased, causing an issue b/w the merchant and client. It’s a whole scam throw the hole app away 🗑🗑🚮🗑🚮🗑🗑🚮🗑🗑you only benefit from cheap services when your the consumer. For a merchant this is a nightmare

A 4yr old can use it… Dora the explora should have done a better job. This app doesn’t work 90% of the time. My calendar time is off by hrs often, the booking disappears at least once a month from my merchant account, there isn’t enough information about your payments to know if vouchers are being redeemed properly. When you request a data download it isn’t any of your merchant account details, just your personal Groupon purchasing. The technical support is available at all times via chat but don’t count on them to have any answers for your issues. How this is a business building application that runs off excel and you don’t have more access to these details only by download is like being put in time out for riding your bike after the street lights have come on. A 4yr old would have no problem navigating this app that’s for sure. Running a business with a business building application like Groupons? Not so much…You can’t link it to Instagram, Facebook, StyleSeat, Square, etc.. This app is just lazy and dated. It’s 2022 not 1990. Maybe all my data was stored to a floppy from Memorex and they need to send the real Quizwalla on an expert quest before I’ll ever know what Dora has done with all my information and all the client’s information and all the business I’ve lost because of “technical issues”. It’s just more smoke and mirrors from Groupon. My business is much more profitable without it.

Waste of time. I submitted my short course campaign. After two weeks of nothing, I chatted with an agent. They supposedly escalated it. It’s now almost a month later and it’s still under review. I’m canceling and never using them. I was also harassed via phone, text, and email by someone who was offering me an enhanced deal for my campaign, and I simply did not want to talk to him anymore. This felt like bullying and pressure sales tactics.

Could be so much better. A couple of things to thing about: In the beginning its great to start off your small business, but after a while you start to notice they feel entitled because they “paid”, they don’t give you an option of a one time purchase for a first time clients to be able to build your small business/brand, I’m not able to edit the “fine print”section to include my policies and further instructions for said Groupon, and on top of the significantly high “recommended” discount price they take half of what the customer paid. I recommend to used to grow your business for a couple of months and later delete or lower your discount prices. But you have to keep in mind of other reviews that stated that it has been an issue with closing a merchant account.

Don't do it. They make money off small business I don't know who took over by Groupon wise amazing 10 years ago. We made a lot of money and got a lot of marketing advice. That was good for a business. But now it is just a place where you can't get in touch with anyone. They're one 800 phone number goes straight to India. Someone from India also emails you and nobody really is accountable for anything we make 12 appointments a day and somehow they're not getting redeemed and it's just the worst ever. We are in the process of seeing we could get some help from a company to get out of this contract. We've been asking them to give us a contract so that we can ended and terminated and they just do not respond.

Hate it.. Groupon makes it hard to delete a campaign. It should be just a click of a button but of course it’s not. I tried googling and still can’t figure out how to turn it off. Then, you have to get then “end date” of your campaign reviewed and approved… I’ve been waiting almost a week for someone to approve it. And to add salt to the wound, it’s just as hard trying to figure out how to contact someone from the company. It shouldn’t be this difficult! Do better.

Don’t buy on Groupon. I have hard time to just pause my campaign? They told me they couldn’t pause it and never reply my email ? Don’t buy on Groupon they charge business for 50% commission. Just call business and ask for matching price!!

Groupon sold out, used to be good now 👎. I have been advertising on Groupon for 5+ years. Groupon used to be an amazing tool. Overnight they changed the way they operate and sold out all the companies that partnered with them. They used to help small businesses grow and then they let big corporations take over and run the platform. They just got greedy taking too much money, letting charging additional fees to “promote” your company in addition to their HUGE CUT they already take etc. I used to sell 200+ deals a week and went down to 1 or 2 a month overnight. It’s all political now, not all companies are teated the same either. My company can not longer sell under the category “goods” as I did for years, but large companies selling the same exact products still can, it’s not an equal playing field for everyone. They allow “big business” to run the platform a take all the sales. Groupon is not good for small business anymore. But hey it’s America, what would you expect. Soon small businesses will all be suffocated and won’t exist anyway!

Major app issues. I had to set up my campaign on the website. The app kept saying there were connection issues! So frustrating!! Then when I went to the support on the app and tried to give feedback it wouldn’t let me submit it. It showed “Connection Error”!

Good but missing key info. Needs to show mobile optimised snapshot of info that is available in merchant centre, ie. number of vouchers sold, number redeemed, etc

Fixed - Login failing. UPDATE: removing the app, then reinstalling it seemed to fix the issue for me. Back to scanning Groupons from my phone!! -- I loved this app, it was very helpful with redeeming groupons from clients! They didn't even need to print the groupon, I could scan it right from their smartphone. HOWEVER... the latest update won't allow me to login. I've confirmed my account works on the merchant website, but no matter how many times I try, it will not allow me to login via the app. I'm quite disappointed... :(

option to type in code for redeem. That will make life easier

Won't update. I downloaded app when one day was left on the deal, but it won't update the new customers. So 100 groupons are not found by the app.

Bad service if your a merchant. They say customers can't see the reviews when they do. They are liars. Don't use if your a merchant. You will make way less.

Groupon makes my business busier!. I opened my business last week for skin and massage in Victoria,BC, Canada. I was amazed on how many customers buy my offers through groupon. I am also surprised that too many people love groupon! Good deals and also help businesses running as well.

Very Unstable. Always logs me out; routinely times out; missing date; unreliable

Needs fixing. At first when I started using it, it worked good. Then with the latest update, it has some bugs. Like redeeming codes by name. When you toggle by pressing the number thing it switching where you can redeem by name. First of all this is great but has two flaws that need fixing. First, when switch by press the number thing and want to redeem by name it brings up the number pad. Then when you press by number it brings up the keyboard and no number redemption. Needs some fixing. Please do with next update.

Groupon is Great. Great for building clientele that will become permanent clients.....Saved the hassle and stress of marketing for self.....Great Service.

Won’t log on. I can login on the browser but on this app it keeps saying there’s an error. Tried resetting my phone as well and deleting the app and redownloading. No luck

Keep your Current Version. Don't Upgrade. I suggest you keep the existing version and DO NOT UPGRADE until they fix some flaws. With version 2.5.1 I can view past sales campaigns as well as history for current or past campaigns to see what was redeemed and when. That all is missing with the new version. The only thing I like about the new version and seeing the reviews; however historical data and ability to see past campaigns far outweighs seeing feedback in the app. I removed the new version and reinstalled version 2.5.1 from my. backup. What were u thinking Groupon developers???

Update needs to be reversed. Most of been recently updated but the camera quality is to blurry (iphone xr) the resolution wont adjust and wont scan barcodes. Definitely a setback , reset the app and redownloaded it, did not fix it.

Not working. Since the last update I keep getting not connected to internet error on all my devices this is ridiculous

App not working. Stop working for no reason. Have to redeem customers Groupon on computer

Where's Redeem. The best part of this app was the ability to quickly redeem vouchers on the move without having to use a PC or tablet. Now my tablet I have to wait for my gnome to load account information so I can redeem the way this app used too. What if a customer or server pushes redeem on the clients mobile phone app? Well I used to be able to update that redemption with the total cost spent for great stats. Now nothing, all it does is show me it's already redeemed. Guess what gnome does the same thing even thought it too is supposed to be for tracking these numbers and giving me reports. Nice blank reports because not all the data can be populated. Thanks Groupon, inc.

Sucky company. I have reached out to groupon merchant multiple times with no response from them. I have emailed and called atleast 5 times. I am not able to make a new campaign (groupon) since making my first one. What is wrong with these people? So incredibly rude. Not only do they take half your money but they won't even let me make any money because they won't return my calls. Will never use this company again to buy or sell. Thanks for nothing.

Would be wise to take care of their vendors or this whole ship will sink, with Groupon at the helm. Where to even begin... I appreciate that I can leave an “anonymous” review as some of my “customers” have done - with no recourse when they don’t honor their end of the reservation, or utilize our service and still collect a refund, for this horrendous app. I also look forward to the canned response from the Groupon team (ha!). I joined Groupon in the golden age as a budding business who could not have afforded the exposure and publicity it offered on my own in my first year of business. The sold my product and kept a “fair” percentage. Or, I felt it was fair for the amount of views my young business was receiving in a competitive market. Now, however, exposure seems to be lower yet Groupon is keeping more and more. Perhaps they have forgotten that not only are the businesses’ customers their customers, but the businesses themselves are also their customers. You are forced to comply to the 30% off of MSRP and they run additional specials driving the actual value of your service further and further down. Additionally, mystery “adjustments” are taken out of your bimonthly payments, with no explanation. For those who don’t follow: say your service is worth $100 on your website (probably already cheaper than your competition’s $110 service so you can attract customers), Groupon will list it for $70 or less (30% off MSRP) and then run random 20%-25% off specials for Black Friday, Christmas in July, it’s winter time so let’s price gouge, and just about any other reason. NOW, your customers who have actually booked directly through you, Google your business to find driving directions to you and they see the Groupon. You have now lost your regularly paying customers to Groupon as well. So let me get this straight: Groupon markets YOUR hard work/business and keeps 100% of the sales but you are only looped in on the cut when Groupons are redeemed...IF the people honor their reservations? Sounds like the potential for a class-action lawsuit to me. ON TOP OF THAT: the only customers who don’t tip, fail to honor their reservation (while I’ve turned away other, full paying customers to uphold my end of the deal), or show up without a reservation, extremely late, or without reading the fine print and then become upset...you guessed it: just Grouponers. When I point out a significant decline to my rep, I am poo-pooed and treated as though I am not intelligent enough to track or compare numbers. Hello! Most of us are savvy and smart enough to run a business, we know how to compare P&Ls. The app hardly ever works - many of my “thumbs up” reviews randomly changed to “thumbs down” with no explanation. The glowing verbiage doesn’t match the icon and feedback data is often stuck in limbo. My blood pressure is up so I am going to stop there but I doubt I am the only business owner feeling this frustration. I often feel I am on an island, but reading the other reviews (although nothing will change) makes me feel less insane. Stay strong, comrades!

This company is god awful. Run!! Save yourselves. This company will not let me close my campaign nor will they close my account. I just get emails from stupid customer service people from South Asia who can’t understand basic English who lack the brains to fill an egg cup. It was an evil day the day I signed up with Groupon. I’m giving away services I should be selling for pennies on the dollar but I can’t change it. This company is the worst thing that ever happened to me. Save yourself and avoid getting a merchant account at all costs!

Attendants app. Your app works well for me as the owner. But I'm not always at store. So it would be great if there was an attendant app that could verify paper Groupon's and see limited purchase history but not have any access to any income data. We text numbers now, but it's not instant like an app at the store. Please consider having this app created and made available. Thank you.

Scammers. They take 40 percent!! No even 10 percent that’s I think it is a lot , so you have to lie to your clients with fake discount that really doesn’t exist so Groupon don’t get the 40 percent from the total amount

WORST COMPANY EVER, HERES WHY.... I started using Groupon merchant stores some time mid 2017. I would sell New various apparel mostly name brand apparel I.e. adidas, Nike, etc... I would sell in vary small group trying to figure out how Groupon works and to see if it had value in its in use. Out of all items I’ve sold on Groupon I’ve never had a negative feedback or return. Now fast forward to December I log on to my merchant account and find it suspended. So I call Groupon to be informed that my account is suspended because I don’t sell enough to have a trusted reputation. So after developing a holiday sales campaign I get nailed to the floor by Groupon because I don’t sell enough for them to trust me. The crazy part is they sent this to me in a email, and I had to ask them were they being serious or just maybe misinformed and they assured me they weren’t joking. I was very disappointed because I had counted on those holiday sales. It’s just a bad business model they use and I want people to be informed that they can’t count on their Groupon store being open unless Groupon feels they’re worthy of staying open.

Please Update. My job gave us accounts to be able to redeem groupon vouchers with our phone so we can just move along the lines. It's a great concept but it doesn't show me a list of all the redeemed vouchers from that day. Living Social showed the voucher number, merchant name, and gave us the option to redeem vouchers when the customer accidentally marked it as used or would let us unredeem them. Groupon needs to update that so it'll show the voucher number and customers name at least.

Only works AFTER close of your Groupon feature. Didn't think it worked until groupon ended and redemption was allowed. Update request: I'd like to see a sign out / in feature.

Was ok at first now just horrible. When I first got this app it was perfect it kept track of everything as stated. I put a groupon up and paused it for a while then restarted the promotion the second go round It wasn't updating the proper amount redeemed. I also had a few reviews that I never saw until I went on the actual groupon website. Then all of a sudden the whole redeemed and units sold were at 0 so now I have no clue how many people are still coming and have came already to redeem them😑 please fix these issues.

Issues with app. Having issues with connectivity as well as while scanning redeeming codes it’s laggy. Needs to be updated.

Should be rated higher. Looks like they broke compatibility with version 1.4 and the bad rating has stuck ever since. Also don't give a 1 rating just cuz you're too dumb to set up a merchant account or because you would like to see a feature added.

Why doesn't the counter work?. This app makes redeeming Groupons simple, but the counter is inaccurate. The number of Groupons redeemed is correct, but the total number of Groupons seems to increase everytime another one is redeemed. It should match the one shown in the merchant center, but doesn't -- even after it syncs. Should be an easy programming fix???

After updated the app,. After the updated, the camera looks weird and hard to scan vouchers!

Great except for crashing. New problem since latest update: the app will not update my transaction history. Since I updated two days ago the transaction history has not updated and I have taken at least five payments with it since then. They show up in my online account but not this app!! Please fix this! I, too, have been experiencing this app crashing my phone while customers are signing. I have to go through the payment process again, then log into my account from a computer to void the extra transaction, which does show up on the customer's credit card but will never clear or pay me because it was not completed. Not good, please fix this! It is unprofessional, and I'm going to have to stick with Square unless this bug is corrected.

This is really really bad lesson to me !!!. Everybody think about that million times before making decisions. I discounted for pedicure& manicure from $35 to $28. So I redeemed 67 time $28=$1876 But I got the money into my business bank only $924 so I lost $952. I called the Groupon merchant agent asking for what happen ? !!!! They said this is for what I make agreement before I start the business. They try to explain me like this like that ...... ok ok the Groupon is right but so is this the way you take care the customer??? To me: don’t even take 1 star from but I have to put 1 star to my bad bad experience!!!! Be careful guys!!!

👎🏼. This has been horrible for business. Produces Groupon hoppers. People who are just looking for quality but don’t want to pay for it or even tip you for it. Most grouponers do not tip. They usually do not return. These people are cheap at heart but looking for the best they can get for the cheapest possible rate. The app keeps crashing and it won’t even let me get to the merchant support which you can only email for. But they are quick to call you and try to set up another campaign and want you to offer even more services for even less. Its offensive And pretty un believable. I will be leaving Groupon ASAP.

New version has problems. This is useful app for merchants to redeem vouchers on the fly. However, the previous versuon was much better. The latest update does not scan as well as the previous, the corners don't change color to help position and there are no more sounds to clue you in to the operations. Last time I used it I couldnt get it to scan print outs that we're no problem before. I wish they would bring back the old.

Great. Great app, the reviews that say app does not work, must not be a merchant. You can scan groupons as they come in and it let's you know, if they have been used, no more waiting till the end of your rush, or going through a long list of names and numbers and seeing if they have been scratched off

feels like its the mob. I would not suggest using! if you must because you are new just beware and cautious of course they take 50% off the top and other fees on top of that, they will put your already low price on constant flash sales and I even caught them making up their own campaign for my business for something not authorized at extremely low rates..now that’s crazy! You will get very very few loyal customers but most are groupon or living social hoppers looking for low low price not quality. I am constantly having problems redeeming vouchers off the app by customers name and of course groupon/(living social-owned by groupon) tells you every excuse under the sun.

STAY AWAY. I spent almost six months with this company and its was a horrible experience. instead of growing my own business, I had to spend all of my time checking and explaining all of my transactions. They freeze most of my transactions for long periods of time because they claim them to be suspicious and after it is frozen, they will make you do unnecessary paperwork to explain your transactions and they will try to keep your money for as long as possible. No more business with them!

Scammers- way of making money. Groupon has a big share of commission already but using or making promotions or discounts specials they screw business, no caps, no minimums, they are making businesses to pay more.

Huge regret. I’m so disappointed with how Groupon Merchant operates. I should’ve never signed up.

Perfect addition to groupon. As a merchant groupon user, this is exactly what they were missing during my first Groupon run. An accurate, fast way to track which groupon has or hasn't been redeemed. Works awesome, updates my lists in (fairly) real time, and even can track extra purchases made on top of the groupon. Pretty awesome!

Do Not Use Groupon Merchant. I had a campaign that paid 80% when sold and 20% once the voucher expired. They paid me the 80% but have not paid me the remaining 20%. Someone told them I was out of business which is not true and I have redeemed all the vouchers. They have nothing in writing from me saying I am out of business which is the requirement. They are making this my problem that they wrote off the remaining owed to me and still have not sent me my money.

Never works. The app is always down.

Cheesy Service‼️. Your stripper-loving momma ad played constantly complements your cheesy service. Internet services must be paid BIG BUCKS to constantly hawk such a sleazy business. Groupon ads give me a headache‼️
