Fun & flattering. This app is so easy to use and unobtrusive when snapping. I am not embarrassed to grab my shot if my picture-time finds me out in the world. Consequently I've been most diligent in keeping up on a daily basis. Nicest of all, the results somehow are a lot more flattering than normal camera pix. I don't know how that happens, but I do appreciate it!

Does everything it needs to do. I’ve used this for years and have no complaints. Sometimes after major iOS updates it can be a little finicky for a while and updates are rare but for the price, it can’t be beaten.

No customer support. I would give this app a five star rating if just ONCE I would have heard back from the developer. I’ve had small problems over the years (been using this app for 6 years) and each time I’ve emailed re: support… Nothing. Why even have a support contact? Of course this app cost $1, but people actually use/care about this app and more importantly their photos. I have friends who use this app with a selfie stick and this app has failed to work and with each update is functionally worse. Rather than start use this app and have years worth of progress come to an end with some update glitch, I would look for an alternative.

Fun app. Needs improvement.. All in all the app does its job very well. I would love to be able to use the volume buttons to take a photo, like the default iOS camera app does. I need to be able to upload and existing photo to a timeline. It would also be great to be able to move a photo manually to get it to align better with the guides.

In need of an update!. I’m not going to lie, this is an amazing app that is absolutely worth the money! But this is my second year using this app and I’ve recently come to a problem. When I try to playback all of my pictures, for some reason it glitches out and crashes at the same spot every time. Please fix this!!

So Close to Perfection!. I love this app. I use it almost daily and I love taking a photo and watching my video of how I change as I go! My only reservation for this is that the image you take of yourself is mirrored. That being the case, when you try to match your face to an image you've already taken, it's really hard! I think you guys should give the option to have your image mirrored/unmirrored, so people can have whichever the prefer. Thanks for the awesome app!

Needs an update for permissions. Love this app and have used it for years. Needs an update for permissions to access the camera and photos etc. Happy to pay for another version I could migrate my existing photos into!

Good app, but a few things breaking 🙁. This is a really fun and well done app. But it hasn’t been kept up to date for a while. And a few parts of the app have started to break because of that. One big one that’s been broken for over a year has been the Dropbox backup feature, which seems to have been relying on a deprecated way to access Dropbox. Still it’s a fun idea, and I love being able to look back through the past and going back through memories.

Awesome. It’s a great app. Honestly super fun to watch the playback once in a while. My only suggestion is to make the reminders a little more noticeable. Sometimes I’m not on my phone at 4:30 (the time I set my timer to) and I just completely forget to take a pic that day. This is not that big of a deal but I thought I would add it.

Great App. I take selfies nearly every day anyway so it's nice to have them all in one place grouped by month. You don't have to use the app as instructed with your pictures perfectly aligned with the day before . It's still a pleasure to use even if you do your thing with it as I tend to do . 5 stars

ALMOST. I think the entire concept is genius, i so love the idea of it. There's only a few minor things i would change. It's frustrating that you don't have an "account." i got a new phone and all of my old pictures were gone because they are on my old phone. If there's a way to save your pictures to an account so you. an access them on a different device that would be incredible. The other thing i don't like is how to camera takes a picture then mirrors it. If these 2 things could be change the app would be perfect!!!

Concept is there. I use this app only for the reminder alarms, the features are too lacking to use even the Dropbox support. Organizing pictures are nonexistent for timelines just a progressive timeline, (please add photos) I’m a veteran that is up to taking a photo everyday for 8 years and still use the method of after effects and organizing on my own to be better till this app updates its features.

Simple and Profoundly important. I have nothing bad to say about this app. It’s simple and is free and does exactly what it needs to. I have no problems with updates, I also have an iPhone 7S plus abs I guess people have problems when they get to the X. (Viva la home button!) It is so real to go the through the years of photos. Reminds me how much I have been through and how strong I am. It is fact our memories are painted through lenses of emotion so how about you capture the reality and have the power to check your POV on your life by playing a photo of yourself one day at a time. I dig it.

Simple. Fantastic.. This is one of those apps that does one thing, really well. Take a picture of yourself (or now you can create multiple timelines) every day and then create a video from it. You can adjust the speed of the video as well, if you're into that sort of thing.

It is very difficult to use. There are no built in editing or sorting features. I have several photos of my baby that are out of order and a couple months makes a big difference in appearance! I need to be able to rearrange the image or somehow adjust the time stamp to put it in the right place. It would also be great to be able to crop/rotate photos after taking them so that I can make fine tube adjustments to make them line up better.

I've been using this app since 2013. That's right, I have almost 6 years of pictures. I don't take one literally every day but the reminders keep me going frequently enough to have a pretty cool animation of myself. I wish there was an auto face size and placement matching. With current face detection tech it can be implemented in a breeze. Maybe that's coming? 😉🙏😄

Color. Something is messed up with the way the color turns out in photos. I did a side by side comparison, looking at a selfie from my regular camera and a selfie in Everyday. The regular camera just looks normal - I look the way I look in real life. But for some reason, the photo I took in Everyday makes it look like I have a bad spray tan. Please fix this issue. I’ve been using this app for about seven years by now and it’s worked very well for me so far. Please don’t mess it up.

Works for me. So far I haven't had any problems, but I haven't done much other than take daily shots and after a while run the playback. I can say that this is an app that I use everyday, and I can't say that about most of them. I expect that I'll upgrade soon so I can generate (and keep) a large historical record to use with other data like MoodNotes. It's also quite tempting to just throw in a series of funny faces when the mood is right. I often don't use apps strictly as they were intended, but often adapt them to my needs if possible. If they give me grief or are annoying they are put on the shelf because my time (and mental health) is too important.

Love this app but.... Been using this app for a while now, but the images flip now and I really don't like this new feature, is there a way to prevent them from flipping? If not can you please update again? PLEASE update the app again without the whole flipping thing, I have way too many pictures on here to start over on another app.

What happened?!?. Haven’t used this app in a few years. I loved it when I lost 50 pounds and was able to see the difference in my face. Tried using it today after a few years of not using it and it mirrored my face and shifted it to the left. This is not good. The original app that I downloaded years ago would save your selfies without mirroring and would provide an overlay so you could line up your camera with an old selfie. This new version is taking serious steps backwards. I am so disappointed ... just spent the extra $$ to have unlimited timelines too :/

Can I get my pictures back!. I actually used to really like this app, and used to use it religiously. I always had my photos backed up to the dropbox feature in case something happened. When I got my new phone and logged into the Dropbox to restore my years of pictures, it didn’t work. Now about 3 years of pictures are gone. Don’t buy this app unless you plan on never getting a new phone. I’ve emailed their support twice with no response.

Another app that would be awesome if they would've taken one more step. It's frustrating, these apps that are almost great. Main problem: the mirroring effect. You take one picture but it spits out a mirrored image (different picture). The option that allows you to match your face up to an outline of your own face is so unthought through. Your matching your face to a mirrored image. Unless you are a model with a perfectly semetrical face you're gonna be off. In matching with grid they need one more grid line on horizontal plane to help with angle. You can line your eyes on the horizontal and nose in the vertical from a whole bunch of angles so it doesn't do the job. Easy fixes, but when people buy it anyway why spend money to fix it? There's a rhetorical answer for that question, but like the app makers, why would I bother?

Simply Executed but Well Done!. One of my longest used apps. Have been using it since 2012 and have the pictures to prove it. What I like is that it is an app with a simple purpose but executed well without too many unnecessary bells and whistles. Glad it was 64-bit and iOS 11 compatible. Plan to use it well into the future!

Cool app. I’ve been using this app for over 10 years and enjoy having the ability to document the changes I’ve been through.

Mutes the volume unnecessarily. I'm also an indie app developer, so I'm highly sympathetic to the economics of the App Store these days, which is honestly really tough. So I get why there hasn't been an update in 3 years, because I suspect the money isn't there, and the app is more-or-less feature complete. BUT... there's a terrible bug where taking a picture any time mutes my volume. Which caused me to miss my alarm once until I figured out what was going on. I emailed them a few months ago to see if they would fix it, and received no response. At some point if you're not going to update an app anymore and it’s badly buggy, you have to pull it off the store, especially if it's a paid app. That time has long passed for this app.

Broken on iOS 12. I’ve used this app for years and was previously at least 4 stars. On iOS 12 it no longer works. It seems abandoned since 2015. Last update and tweet was from then. Just upgraded to an iPhone Xs and now it doesn’t have camera permissions. Nor does it ask for them. I even tried backing up all my photos (more on this in a second) and deleting the app, the reinstalling. No dice. Backing up was tedious. It only backed up 1 album, and even then only some of the photos, so I had to export them manually one by one. Dropbox was the only option since it had no camera roll access. As I compared what was exported and what wasn’t, I noticed some photos in the export folder that weren’t in the app. So after manually exporting each photo in each album, then reinstalling the app I found that it doesn’t ask for camera permissions. The developers Twitter seems dead, but there is another app of theirs updated as recently as May.

Broken. This app hasn’t been updated in a long time, and the developer hasn’t replied via email to questions. Just a heads up to potential buyers, the Dropbox function doesn’t work on iOS 13. Neither does exporting the individual photos. Right now, you can still make the video, but seems a little risky to save a year’s worth of images in an app that doesn’t seem to be maintained. Also, the app crashes every time you take a photo. Happy to update this review per the developer’s response.

awesome!!. this app is amazing. its free, it lets you save your photo to your camera roll, it plays a video of your photos, and it never let me down. ive only been using it for about 2 months and nothing has gone bad. Good job!

C’mon Already. First off, you can’t even use the app to take the picture because it makes your head look like fruit, therefore you have to take the picture with your phone and import it which is fine. Of course now when you want to watch your pictures in fast motion you can’t. I have 4 years of photos on this app and I’d like it to not take 1 year to blow through 4 years of photos.

Best Photo-A-Day App. I love this app! Great features include multiple timelines for family members or friends, saving of high res images to the camera roll, and frame rate options for exporting videos. The ONE thing I would like to see added is the option to rename a timeline. Would love to see this in an upcoming update. Thanks!

Denis. Very nice app, been using it for a three years, picturing a daughter. Bur missing some UI elements, for example move pictures from one profile to other (in purchased version), profiles naming (in my case of two baby twins it was kind a hard to understand where is who 😁), also adding pictures from iOS photos would be great.

Updates would make it perfect. This is a very fun app that seems to have been neglected by it’s maker. Provide at least an annual update to address bugs and it would be off to the races. Great way to document your days if you’re okay with the clunky UX 👍

Great since 2011. Simple app that works. Over the years it’s had some kinks but they have always been sorted. I would love an account where pics are stored; or you could export the videos, but other than that, it’s awesome.

Reminders Don't Work. I've only just gotten this app and I'm very excited to see the end result but it's difficult to remember to take the picture everyday. It doesn't help that the reminders aren't working for me!

Need ability to export a video. You can export the photos, but not a video...so it just fills your camera roll with hundreds of photos when you "export". Would give 5 stars if it weren't for that...no way to show anyone all these pics I spent the last 380 days taking ;)

Was good, but new phone disrupts images. I’d been using this app every day for over a year and it worked pretty well. I did experience crashes when trying to save an image to the camera roll, but the app did make it possible to take daily pictures and make a video of them. I resorted to screen captures instead of saving images to the camera roll. So far so good, until I bought a new iPhone 11 Pro. All my previous images are still there, but now the viewfinder frames the photos completely differently than they were before. I thought this was due to the new front-facing camera maybe having a different field of view, but when I leave the app and take a selfie normally, it’s completely different from the framing that’s presented in the app. In other words, I would get results more consistent with my Everyday history if I stopped using the app and just used the selfie mode in the iPhone. I could accept the one time disruption in the orientation of the images captured with the app—it’s not ideal and is antithetical to what the app is for, but stuff happens—BUT the new framing/view is just terrible for self portraits, making my face tiny and capturing far too much of my torso. It looks distorted and I don’t know why that is. Hopefully an update fixes this and I can resume my project without too much of a gap.

No longer works in iOS 12 😭. This app no longer works with iOS 12. It doesn’t have permissions to access the camera and you can’t grant them from the phone settings. I loved this app, but I’m so sad it doesn’t seem like it’s being supported any more. I emailed their support a couple of weeks ago and never heard back. Previously I had written this as a review: Apps serve a specific purpose, and the best apps fit a specific purpose so well, it defines the niche. Everyday is one of those apps. I can't imagine a better daily photo taking experience. Everything from alignment, onion skin, and even playing them all back at whatever speed you want. You can even export the movie when you're done. I'm impressed with how well done this is and how much I like using the app. Keep it up Everyday People!!!

This is the best app of it's kind but wish they'd improve some things. I've been using this since baby's first day home from hospital. The photos would always come out sideways when using the app I guess because he was laying down. So I use my own pics and crop them in the phone's photo app. My suggestion would be to allow cropping inside the app. This way the final slideshow would be consistent views of baby's face and head, not a bunch of different sizes and backgrounds.

Love this. I don't like paying for apps but I wanted a space that made it super easy and organized to take a photo in the same spot everyday. This app is perfect for that. My only complaint is t flips the picture so my bangs look like they are on the opposite side. Other than that you can play all the photos in a slideshow and change the speed. Great app that sets reminders to take your photo a day!

Camera Delay. The main reason I purchased the app AND the upgrade for multiple projects was to document my children. I have twins but they're so different and it's exciting watching them grow. The shutter delay on the in-app camera is so long it ruins the purpose of the app. By the time I've tricked a toddler into looking into the camera and hit the button, they've looked away and I now have an awkward expression or a blur for a photo. I would use my regular camera's burst photo feature and then upload - but they don't let you line up the facial features on uploaded photos. It's a good app. Could be a great app with some more work. I believe it will get there and will continue to use it and I recommend it over other daily photo apps.

I really want to love it, but.... On paper this app does everything I want it to do. And I’ve been using it for years. Unfortunately it progressively is getting harder to use without frustration. Every time an update comes out I get excited that a bug may be fixed, but instead some new quirk pops up. It’s been this way since the iPhone X fist came out. And just yesterday I started a new timeline for a new year. And now on day two the eye, mouth, and nose alignments give me a different photo than the original just one day ago. Using the semi-translucent overlay over yesterday’s photo doesn’t work either. And because it’s based on calendar date I can’t do anything but throw away the first photo or wing it until I accidentally get it to match. The latest update says there’s a new version coming in 2019. And I’ll keep using the app until then because of emerita mostly. But if you haven’t started on your goal of taking consecutive photos, I recommend looking around to see what else is available, because these quirks will probably not be going away any time soon.

Needs account feature!. I love this app and have about 400 pictures on it. However, I got a new phone and now I need to start over. This app would be so much better if it included online accounts. Not only would it reduce the amount of storage used by the app, but it would back up the pictures so you can continue a timeline on another device. Otherwise, this is one of the best photo a day apps out there.

William and Craig if you read this :). I realize that y’all aren’t working on it anymore, but there is a tiny feature that I would LOVE to have on your app, so I figured I would ask: would is be possible to include the location when exporting the picture to the cameras roll? I am using Everyday all around the world and I would love to be able to see my pictures on a map. It would be amazing if that information could be added.

Dropbox problem. I got a new phone and I thought that with the dropbox backup my timeline would be automatically placed back, but no. I had to save one by one from dropbox and then import to Everyday. The other problem is: the app doesn't recognize the right sequence of pictures when you import, so the pictures are placed in your timeline in an aleatory order (and there is not an option to rearrange them). Really frustrating.

Great app but needs some changes. I've used this app for a few years now. It's great, simple, gets the job done of recording the inexorable passage of time that is your aging face. However, a few things that bug me about the app: it doesn't record geotagging/metadata info (unlike when you use the front-facing camera with the normal iOS camera function), and it doesn't seem work with the new iOS 9 "Selfie" folder. :-/

Too buggy to use anymore. Used to use this a lot but it’s too buggy now. (1)Export photos crashes the app. (2)Dropbox connection isn’t supported anymore. (3)When a reminder pops up to take a photo, it sometimes puts it in the wrong timeline. (4)When viewing photos in a timeline, sometimes the thumbnail shows one photo, but shows a different photo when you click on it. I was going to try to contact the developer, but it sounds like many others have tried and gotten no response.

Better. Had this app a few years back, then I stopped using for lack of an update... Finally started using it again and it's definitely back up and running. An update was crucial.

I REALLY LIKE THIS APP!!!!. I love this so much because everyday you can see yourself growing to young to old which is very cool. And when you reach 50 photos they say great job keep it up on the app which is very kind to tell us that we are doing a great job and to keep doing it more and more. Bugs getting worse. I’ve been using this app since it came out years ago. Overall I like it quite a bit, but the bugs and glitches have gotten somehow worse. Sometimes the alignment of the eye and mouth is not accurate at all now. I’ve gotten relatively good at compensating for it, but it shouldn’t be a problem in the first place. The app was much better before that update. I still enjoy it, but I’ve missed many days and fallen out of the habit of taking pictures daily because of that glitch.

Great. Well designed and easy to use. The reminder notification however does not clear when launched from the notification centre or lockscreen in iOS 5.

Find a healthier me. Using Everyday everyday I witnessed myself getting older, tireder and balder over the space if a few months. I have now turned my life around, using Everyday to document my reversal of time as I get more sleep and workout at the gym. Unfortunately the app has not stopped my receding hairline.

Crash. Every time I try to export photos to my photo library it crash.

9 months and loving it. Where's the updates?!. Great app! Been using it for 9 months now. But where are the updates? iPhone 5 support, music to videos?!

Terrible. I’d give 0 stars, but the review process doesn’t allow it. Doesn’t work at all! As in it won’t even take a picture in the app. It tells me to adjust my privacy settings to allow my camera to take a photo, but when you open app settings, camera access doesn’t appear as an option to switch on. Complete, utter rubbish.

I’ve been using this app since 2011.. I love how simple it’s, but it’s buggy. I’m surprise how little development they put into it since then. It would be great if they’ll use AI to auto align eyes, applying perspective correction to make the transitions smoother. Dropbox sync doesn’t work. I’ll keep using it until I find something with those qualities.

Love It. It's a great idea for an app. It has a simple, polished user interface and it's fun to watch the generated videos.

Great App now Even Better. Love the redesign; the app looks cleaner, runs smoother and the preview is much more intuitive now. However, the reminder feature, while gaining location based reminders, has ditched the days of the week with time based reminders, ie. Everyday or not at all. Please bring back the specific days with time reminders as we will only be taking photos weekly, not daily.

Fun App!. Awesome App! Just finished 1 year today. Feedback for improvements. 1. Have a "total" photo counter. 2. Ability to have more than 1 everyday photo project going at once.

Six years later - still excellent. I've been using this for six years now and it's a simple reliable measure of how things change. Well executed and 'just works'. Watch yourself and other change as we age and fade.

Could be improved. It would be great if you could tweak the photos you've already taken to smooth out the video. If they added move, crop and rotate to existing photos this app would be great!

Love-d it.. I used to love this app but not since the new update. I hate how my picture flips to the opposite way after I take the photo. Is there a way I can change it back to the old way?

Best feature: update notes. As awesome as this app is, it's undeniable that the most exciting and impressive feature is no doubt the excruciating anticipation of what sneaks into the release notes each time the app updates. 5 stars for awesome sauce and if I could I'd give another star for "robustifying" and complimenting my hat.

Get it. Get it when you're about to have a baby! So good for travelling or watching kidlets grow :)

Great App but... Love this app! Only thing is.. I recently updated to OS5... And now it doesn't remind me anymore. I even deleted old reminder time and put it back in... But still nothing. Please fix!!

Great little app. A few ideas though.. This is a great little app but I agree, it would be nice to have a few albums. One for myself, one for the kid, one for the dog. And maybe a little visual update as well.

Awesome!. Great app, gets the job done. I have some suggestions: ability to save the images online incase app dies, ability to change the opacity on the onion-skin and ability to take 'everydays' as different users (perhaps a serious one and a silly one...?).

Great app but this new release keeps crashing. Will not get past the initial phase of importing the FaceTime camera pic across. Keeps crashing midway through. I won't however give you a low star rating as I like the app I'm looking forward to the update. It does need some bug testing though.

2022 Review. Most reviews for this app are older. I wanted to really like this up, also paid for the extra options. It crashed when attempting to import photos. It crashes when you try to adjust the FPS and will revert back to the standard FPS. It's good when it works, but it's frustrating when it doesn't. Would be happy to pay more for a working app.

Works well. Pretty basic but it works well. A few additions that would be nice: 1) basic brightness/contrast adjustments on photos. 2) Ability to adjust photo zoom/position to better fit old photos to guide lines.

Does what the name suggests. Holy moly, how much can we change week to week, time to start looking after myself a little better

BUG New App update kills alignment. App update in December 18 kills alignment. iPhone Xs. Image doesn’t align after taking, the guide during taking is way off. Urgent fix needed

Great app!. Works well, have no problems with crashing. Would like there to be an option to have several users at once though....that would make it 5 stars!

Looks like abandonware.. This functions well but I can’t get Dropbox functionality working. It has been a long time since it was updated and support emails go unanswered. I would look for another app which is currently supported. They have no problem taking your money to unlock extra functionality, but that’s where it ends.

Eets. Very nice app once you start using it. One point I don't like is the preview of the photo you are going to take on the front camera gets mirrored after you take it. Makes my face look slanted & distorted. Otherwise this app is everything you expect in it.

Everyday. This is a fun app. I added it at the start of a long weight loss journey, to see how my face changes. The face positioner is great, the reminder timely and I recommend this to anyone with an interest in a timeline approach

A nice way to document your life. This is a nice little app that simply does what it says it does. The screen show is fun to see small changes on a daily basis.

good app but... its a good app, but how do i make it play the opposite way? when I choose generate it plays from the last photo i took but how do i make it play from the first to the last?

Been using this since it came out!. Love the app and great deal with multiple accounts One problem tho, Dropbox is saying it’s out of date. Can you guys fix that please? Or if the app could have a cloud based storge. Sometimes I’ve lost years of work without backup

Importing from photo roll now broken. I’ve just upgraded to a new phone, and have loved this app, but alas I can’t include all my history of everyday selfies. Please release a new version allowing import to work. I’d love to keep using this app!

Snap-tastic!. I love the idea of taking a photo of my face every day. And I don't take my photo in the same spot every day. Each day the photograph is in a new spot, which reminds me of all the places I've been to when I took the photos; in a tent, at a cafe, in my back yard, etc. It's a great app, definitely a must-have!

Good, but needs improvements.. I have no problem with iOS 5.1.1 but I was not an original user. The app is great, many improvements needed tho! I want the app to remember the settings from my last photo, if using the rear facing camera without flash, I want this to be remembered for next time. I want to be able to make the movie slower. I'm actually using it for landscapes and architecture. And would love to be able to move the guide lines on diagonals. There is a lot of user interface things that just don't make sense. Especially when making the grid. It needs to be looked at in a whole lot more detail to be improved. I did buy this app over others because of the user interface and the professional website and video, I expect top class customer service and hope this is lived up to.

Grate app. I love this app. The only thing I wish for is that you can have 2 or 3 things going at once. I have done 1 year of taking a pic of my face every day. I also wanted to do one of weight loss but you can only do one at a time. Would be great if you could make is so you can do 2 or 3. Thanks keep up the good work.

Fantastic idea. I've been using this app for over two years now, it's been amazing! It's become a habit and I don't know what is do without it!

Fun app for a great project. I'm loving taking a photo every day and choosing a background that sometimes signifies what I've been up to that day. Really looking forward to the possible inclusion of being able to run multiple accounts/timelines.

Bug on later iPhones?. Seems that there’s a bug with iPhones (iPhone XS) with positioning. I tried redoing the alignment lines but making it worse - nothing l do fixes it. Set alignment kinds and take a photo - now it’s all wrong. Seems like just “best guess” now.

I really like this app. This app is really good, I have been taking a photo if my face for a month now and it's working out well. The shadow effect is such a great idea.

Simple app that does what it does well.. Takes a day or two to get use to aligning but then quick and simple. Give a little extra around the edges to allow for variation. The reminder means that I do take the pics. Takes a few months to get enough pics to see the changes but then it is fascinating. Highly recommended.

Where do the pictures save. Great app but I recently got a new phone and I backed it up and the pictures are no longer on there I have to start all over

Not worth it, & doesn't even work, 0 stars. Don't waste your $2, constantly crashes & doesn't work anymore. Developers won't bother to answer emails or update to fix crashing issue. Spend your money elsewhere. I'd give it 0 stars if possible.

Good app BUT. Reminders still don't work consistently. You will need to remember to do this every day.

Dropbox do not load. Import crash. All that in less then 10 seconds experience. Just lost 4$. Meh.

Need more Options. I like the concept but please provide more options: - allow to import previous pictures. - have the option to export in landscape or portrait mode.

Amazingly still works after 9 years!. I’ve been using this app since it came out in 2011, and it’s still going. While there are a few signs of age, I appreciate that at least the dev has kept it alive on iOS 12+. This is a long term project kind of app, so it’s great to see it keep going.

Good app but import feature doesn’t work. I like this app a lot, it’s simple and easy to use. However, the import photo feature doesn’t work and the app instantly closes when you try to import a photo from your gallery.

Lacking updates on iOS 14. App is simple and straightforward, however it seems to be in some development limbo. I used it for years, but some updates would be welcome to ensure it’s usefulness going forward.

Love this app, but needs a bug fix BADLY.. App crashes every time photos and video are being saved to camera roll (and ultimately aren’t backed up to camera roll)—which means it crashes after each photo you take.

Not functioning, no service. Hello to anyone on the back end, maybe this review will get someone's attention. There is no way to get this off my phone- the export does not work, not for the slideshow and not even for photos to camera roll. I've emailed about this twice- no answer. What gives? UPDATE: things seemed fixed for a while, but then somehow returned to there being no export function again. My phone was wiped today due to a software problem and I’ve now lost 3+ years of tracking my life using this app!

Almost perfect!. Does its job well but I wish there was a way to edit the photosl in another app and then save back for basic lighting adjustments same way as apple lets you in its photos app.

Great update. The recent update really cleaned up a lot of previous issues. I just wish the camera mirror image fix didn't happen.

Love the app but.... I have been using this app for years but i just purched a new phone and im loading my photos onto drop box and the link is so outdated that it wont let me log in. PLEASE fix your sharing profile with dropbox.

We Want Portrait Mode. I started using this app with my new iPhone X and was pretty disappointed there’s no portrait mode support for something that is.... all portraits. The app works well enough for what it does. Would give another star if they were up to date with portrait mode but this is pretty far behind the trend right now, it’s been 4-5 months since release, and developers get access to betas early...

Bug. I used to love this app but now with the new iOS 7 update for some reason the camera won't line up properly. I'll take my picture that is perfectly lined up with the last picture but then it appear off a couple of centimetres later. Please fix this soon!

Please update the app!. I don’t know if I’m the last person that’s still using this app but I’ve been taking a selfie for the past 11 years and this app crashes every time I try to play the Timelapse. I’d pay for an update!

Doesn't work properly with iOS7. Since the camera changed, the alignment doesn't match and the photo is actually zoomed out once you shoot it. Please update the app asap. Other than that I really like the app.

Good but sucks you can’t transfer old photos. I had an old phone I took over 3 years of photos but they don’t save the photos with a account so I had to restart on e new phone

Excellent App - new update broke alignment. Been using this app since 2011 and I’m glad to see the new update in December 2018, but it broke the image alignment and moves the camera way farther away (bug where setting the rulers doesn’t give the same alignment as when you take a photo). Developers haven’t responded to support requests.

Great App.. This app is original, polished and useful. I plan to grow a beard to the ground and document it with this app.

No update for newer phones. I’ve used this app consistently with my iPhone 6 for 2 1/2 years and was really looking forward to this being a long term project. However, I just got an iPhone 11 and there are no accommodations made for a totally different approach to composition, colour, or depth with this phone. There is no way to adjust any of this stuff, which has resulted in totally skewed photos that don’t match the onionskin or proportions of previous photos. After reading some other reviews, it seems this app has been abandoned. Don’t use this!

awesome, but..... this app is really good at tracking your development as a person (facially), but I wish it didn't flip the pictures taken from the front facing camera, because it makes me look funny for some reason :/

Abandonware. Worked well until an update about a year ago broke the alignment. Unfortunately the developer never bothered to fix the issue properly.

Poor support. Emailed the developer months ago informing them that their Dropbox feature no longer worked since after a year of Dropbox giving developers a warning to change their API version they ignored it. Just like how they ignored my email. The app doesn’t even get new features let alone fixes to existing features. Update; it’s now 2020 and they still haven’t updated it. You cannot backup your photos to any cloud service. Don’t use this app.

Grid doesn't show up. I used to think this app was great. Now I can't get the grid to show up anymore so I can't line up my photos each day. I emailed the developers and nobody got back to me. I even bought the app and the grid won't show up. Very disappointing.

Great app! I just have one wish. The overlay of the previous photo helps to make them all line up nicely, but it would be nice if you could adjust the transparency of the previous image as it's hard to see sometimes.

Scam. I purchased this app a few months ago and now it is asking me to purchase it again in the app after the most recent update. I wish I did not update!

Developer doesn’t respond to emails.. I’ve loved this app and have been using it for 5 years. However, I’m having a major problem now. I can’t import photos from my camera into the app. Until fairly recently it wasn’t a problem. I’m very upset by this. I’ve emailed the developer more than once and they never respond.

Great app for daily use!. I rarely purchase apps, but I'm glad that I did this time. For me, being able to document physical chances as I go through a transition is priceless! : )

Almost perfect. I've been using his app for almost more than 3 years now and I love it but, I got a new phone and I wish that I could transfer all the pictures from my other phone to my new one.

Broken App. No longer functions. The app needs permission to access camera through device settings, but does not appear in settings. Fortunately I am not one of the poor folks who lost years of photos because the developers don’t keep their app up-to-date. Don’t bother wasting your bandwidth downloading this app.

Frustrating....could be So much better. I love the idea of this app. Notifications aren't consistent which is not good. The worst is the "flip" of the photos. So even though I've taken the time to take well over 150 photos (3 timelines)... No one really looks like themselves. And really then, what's the point?

No frills, easy to use. This app does what you need, but I wish there were more settings. Main one being a setting to stop inverting photos!

It's fine. Mostly I like this app. But it would be really great if... 1) ...the pictures didn't turn into a mirrored image after capture. 2) ...there were 'video editing' options, such as being able to make it so that each image fades into the next. Update: I am now using an iPhone XS and the app no longer works with Dropbox, which is very frustrating. I’m probably going to try to import all my old photos to a different app and start over since they have failed to make any improvements to this app

Does what they advertise. Great job. I only wish there was a way to import photos from Dropbox. I was able to back them all up on Dropbox but now I have a new phone and want to import them from Dropbox, but I can't.

On my 3rd timeline. Started 10 years ago then found this app Easy I just wish my daughter took my advice, and started back in the day.

Eye Opening!. I have lost twenty pounds since I started using it. More than anything else it demonstrates how much progress I've made. I can see my face change shape and when I feel stalled it gives me inspiration.

Cool app. My brother turned me on to this app. Fun to see your changes over time. Still using this years later. Nice to have different save options so I don't have to have my camera roll full of selfies.

2nd round. I did this app several years ago. It was a hit with family and friends. Picked it up again as i am on a weight loss journey. I love seeing me shrink. Best app ever.

Great app. I haven't finished yet but so far have taken a decent amount of pictures with this app and am going to continue to do so until the end of my pregnancy. But so far so good and loving the ghost feature.

Given up on randomized reminder. The randomized reminder decided to stop working suddenly yet again. Missed a few days of photos. I've given up on it and will use the regular reminder going forward.

Was great. Now unusable.. Use to work great. Now it keeps prompting me that it doesn’t have access to camera. Despite my attempted fixes, the app is still unable to connect to my camera to make timelines. I exported one timeline, or so I thought, before deleting the app to see if this worked. Well my photos never got exported and the app still didn’t allow access to my camera.

Using daily since 2016. Almost perfect. I just wish that it wouldn’t mute my sound once the picture is taken.

Wow I’m dumb. Totally should have checked the reviews before purchasing and upgrading to the multiple timelines. Didn’t realize this was abandoned by the developer and is too buggy to use. It seems unfair that there’s no way to get a refund on it, or that they’d still selling an app that’s not really functional anymore.

Support is terrible. Been using this app for years. Has obvious easy-fix flaws like the mirroring issue mentioned elsewhere, but honestly one star for their support never responding and seemingly not caring AT ALL about the users having issue with the app. I get it, it's only $1, but replying even a week or so later wouldn't kill you. It's clear the developer simply doesn't care about the end user and just wants a passive income stream from app sales.

amazing. I'm in the process of transitioning (ftm) and take a picture every day. it's great because the app gives you a notification every day (you can set the time) and it reminds you to take a picture :)

Alignment issues with update. App worked fine yesterday, today the alignment is all messed up, even if I realigned my guides, it still doesn’t match up to all of my old photos that I have been taking for the last 3+ years. Supper aggravating, please fix this problem.

Alignment Guide. Used this app in the past and loved it, but deleted it because I needed space on my phone and never got around to reinstalling it until now. However, when I select " reset alignment guides" nothing happens. That's the best part of this app, the uniformity of the photos.

Nice app. Only feature request is to cancel my push notification at the set time if I already took a photo earlier in my day. Thanks for the cool app that I'm sure I will appreciate even more as time goes on

Grid won’t turn on. I tried to reset the face grid and it turned it off. I can’t get the grid to turn back on, no matter what I do. Also, for some reason whenever I open the app on iOS it turns my volume down, and when I take a picture, it mutes my volume. It’s very strange. The mirror image is also confusing.

Crashes when I try to import. I bought this app to make a video story out of pictures I’ve already taken, but it crashes every time I try to import even one picture. I’ve tried rebooting the phone and all kinds of tricks, still crashes every time. 🤷‍♀️

Great for years, but guide lines don’t work with newer phones. I used Everyday for 8 years and loved the app and its output. Modern phones show guide lines wrong even if one resets the guides, so matched framing is no longer easy. Sad to see us have to move on to other apps…

Fun and simple. It’s ironic how ridiculous I think selfies are and yet I use this app every day... It hasn’t been updated in years, but they need to fix the issue where it mutes the output when launched.

Missing basic feature. Please allow the alignment guides to be turned off! They are very annoying for timelines not meant to be used for a fast run through where all the pictures must align perfectly! Very annoying! Thank you!

Doesn't save the images. I used to love this app but with the update to iOS 10 it no longer save the picture I take just a black box. I deleted my old timeline because I got a new device and 3 years worth of pictures were just black boxes. I think I'm going to delete the app since it doesn't save anything any more. This makes me sad because I really love the concept.

Loved it when it worked. Used free version for couple of years then stopped. Decided to upgrade to paid version and now it won’t access camera. No permission. Went to settings to approve but apparently the app has to ask for permission. Three Tweets and an email trying to get support and nothing. If you can’t get support a product is not worth having. Recommend finding a competitive product.

Best daily photo app. I've been losing weight and this is the best motivational tool there is. To see yourself slim down and change it's amazing.

No longer works on iPhone 6s. This was a great app but since I upgraded to an iPhone 6s the photos do this thing where they shift to the left and part of the picture is cropped off. It's hard to explain exactly but I hope the developers of this app get on this so I can continue to take a selfie a day.

Used to great. Too bad.. I used this for years. But the latest version has randomly appearing and disappearing alignment wires, and the backup function - which costs extra, is incompatible with the latest version of Dropbox. Finally, there is zero customer support. Time for a new time lapse app.

Overlay sizing and mirroring. My overlay still isn’t working. I reset my alignment guide and when I match up with the grid, the today is way off from yesterday. Also, long-time issue: mirroring. I’m pretty sure this wasn’t a thing when I started using the app in Oct 2012. Me no likey. Thanks for your efforts. Love the habit.

Why are you flipping images suddenly?. Been using this for 4 years and am now about to jump ship because all of my newer photos are flipped and look weird. Not sure why the developers would do this, especially because the whole concept of the app rests on consistency. I am bummed to have to abandon this app after so much time, but I found a similar one that doesn't distort your photos...is that really too much to ask, Everyday?
