Awful app. Really buggy. Cannot delete stuff from my cart once I added them. Doesn’t support basic auto filling when typing in delivery or billing information. Not being a be able to paste into certain fields is super annoying. I’ve gotten so frustrated that I’ve given up a couple of times and just ordered from another place through Grubhub or DoorDash and just accepted the extra fee’s. I rather pay Cracker Barrel directly, but I literally can’t order from this app without it being s buggy mess.

Spent 2 Hours Ordering for Me. This app is a waste of time. I spent 2 hours ordering breakfast tacos for myself. Only 1 order of them to be clear. Then the app was not taking my debit card all because the app won’t put a slash in between the expiration dates when inputting your card info. Not to also mention that app forces you to make an account and a rewards account. Lets also talk about how I tried to copy and paste the numbers and you can’t. I tried changing the keyboard for this section and it won’t let me so I can input the slash. I literally sat there trying to glitch this app into letting me put the slash. But nothing. Trash.

What is the point of having an app this broken????. What is the point of having an app that doesn’t work? What is the point of having rewards when they don’t work? I have been trying to enter an order with a birthday reward for a month. I have not been able to use it. It will go bad in a week. This is ridiculous. It will not take the money off. It will not put the order together and every time I try to check out without it I can never actually get to the checkout because it says there there’s an error. My app is up-to-date. That is everything I have to say about this app. This has been a nightmare to use. I have never been more thoroughly disappointed and I will probably no longer eat at Cracker Barrel. I am so angry. This is ridiculous. Hire UX designer and developers that knows what they’re doing.

Won’t let me order. This app was working great. I ordered on it one day last week & it worked fine. Tried it the next day & my order wouldn’t go through. It came up with an error that said my app needs an update but there isn’t an update for it. A week later, I tried again, exact same thing. When i search for the app in the App Store there isn’t an update. So I can’t figure it out. Also, if you are going to have us create an account it should store all of our personal, vehicle, & cc info so we don’t have to enter it every single time. Come on Cracker Barrel. Fix your flipping app!!!

Would have put zero stars, if possible. I used the app today for the first time to pay my bill at Cracker Barrel. When I did it, it didn’t work properly, so I went ahead and paid the cashier. she verified that the app had not taken my credit card information and paid the bill. However, they did take my information, and my account was hacked. I now have no credit card, and I have to wait over a week for it to be replaced. Do not use this app!

Good food!. We are your special on 2 nights ago. I Think I left my blue purse with all my I d & quite a large amount to hel our daughter is on a vent & drs don’t give her long to live. Please if you found it just return it to your Cracker Barrel. All my debit & crdit cards are there so if you use them they will get you. If you return it to Cracker Barrel’s manager, I will not press charges. That money is to use to keep my daughter alive!! I beg you to please bring it back. If you want the purse, keep it but return credit cards & if & money!! Please do this. I know people do this all the time!! Be a good person & do what’s right!

Wait list does not work. I used the app to join the waitlist for the Huntsville Alabama store. When I got there clicking I’m here did nothing. I looked at my text messages and saw I had to check in with the hostess. I waited in line to check in with the hostess for quite some time. When I finally got her attention she said I wasn’t on the wait list and it would be 25 minutes for a table for one. After already standing for 10 or 15, I was not about to wait another 25! I buy 100’s of dollars worth of gift cards every year to give as gifts. Not again. I deleted my app, account, and took my business elsewhere. The app is useless.

Cracker Barrel Rewards Prigram BROKR. I downloaded the app and registered to become a member of the Cracker Barrel rewards program. The first time I used it, I presented my phone to the cashier, and they said that my purchase went through using the app. I never saw the points on the app. I went online and submitted a trouble sheet with the information to try to regain those points… Nothing ever happened. I ate a second time at the restaurant, and this time used the app to pay the bill thinking that this would generate the points. It’s been a week and my balance is still listed as zero. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Terrible App. I have had this app for years and it has never worked correctly - not even once. It forces me to sign in when I am already signed in and then my entire order disappears. Sometimes it will show the next available time for order pickup is days away. Often, I get an error when trying to checkout that my cart can’t be loaded. When attempting to give this rating, it won’t even allow me to choose the number of stars.

Always an Error. This might be the worst app I have ever used. Every single time I have used it a new “error” happens. It never tells you what the issue is until you’re at the last step and click check out. Today’s inexplicable issue is needing to pick an order ready time. That is part of the first step in the order AND it when it gives you the error message pop up… you can still see that the ASAP time is still selected. On the same screen. This app needs bug fixes badly.

Great Convenience. When you’re setting at home and you don’t feel like cooking but you don’t want a sandwich- it’s great to pick up your phone and just place an order for a great country cooked meal! Then when you don’t feel like getting all dressed up- the curbside service is awesome too!

New update. I noticed since the latest update this app looks and feels completely different. Definitely a major upgrade from the old version as it is so much smoother and user friendly now. And ofc the food is delicious as always.

Never been easier to order Grandma’s Sampler!. Love this app! So easy to navigate… from adding sausage sides to adding last-minute butter, the app made is easy to put in my pickup order so it was ready by the time I got there! Pretty cool that I can even order the peg game through it :)

Worst app ever used for food service. I have never used an app with such ridiculous security features. This app constantly logged you out so you have to get a email to log back in. Every time I want to order food I have to re-insert credit card information this app does not store any credit card information. I will not be using this app anymore. I am sitting here for 10 minutes. Waiting for a stupid email to arrive so I can reset. My password still has not arrived.

Never updates. Update to iOS 16.5 already. I long to have favorite stores saved and other menu items saved. Instead of putting in the restaurant location every time. It would be nice to log in and have the app just know the usual location. Come on already and update my favorite southern restaurant app, please!

Dolly Parton RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!. The App never works & the few times it has worked, the Store # 746 never gets the order correct and it takes them 2+ hours to get your incorrect order ready! Store Management is Terrible. I love Cracker Barrel's food but getting it is impossible! So Dolly if I were you I certainly wouldn't want my Good Name associated with this disaster of a company. Poor service, unusable App, Store Management that doesn't care about their Customers, and Discrimination and Rude treatment of their Customers. Love you Dolly, but please don't associate yourself with a Company that doesn't do right by its Customers or Employees. And doesn't want to fix the problem!

Worst app. I have been “using” this app for several years and it is a source of constant frustration. Today, it won’t move past find a location. It finds my local store but won’t move beyond that page to let me place an order. I have uninstalled the app twice, restarted my iphone twice. Still won’t work. Then there is the whole issue of why can’t they process gift cards for payment. Check the version updates-a “fix bugs and improvements” update every month? Please put together a team that can get this right!

Horrible app. This app is absolutely terrible. For literally the last 2 years I have had nothing but problems with the app. I have successfully been able to place an order on the app probably twice in a 2-3 year time span. No exaggeration. Whenever I try to add things to my cart it will say “oops! Item unavailable” or “error, could not load shopping basket”. It is a joke and such a waste of time! The whole reason I want to order on the app is for convenience, and also curbside. You cannot do curbside by calling into the restaurant. They need to fix their app or will lose more & more business.

crackle barrels on bush river road in Columbia South Carolina. Sunday evening, we went out for lunch. It took 15 minutes for the hostess to come to the desk. 15 minutes for the server to come to our table 20 minutes before our food came out and when it did it was cool. I have tried to give this restaurant the benefit of the doubt, but this is the fourth time that I have are Cracker Barrel‘s on bush, river road lately and the food was not attractive, or pleasing to eat. Cold pancakes the butter wouldn’t even melt. I have gone to this establishment for years after the pandemic it has gone down drastically. I will not be visiting they are again. And I will tell my friends they are taking a chance.

Cracker barrel rewards app. Each time I try to log into the Cracker Barrel app either through an email you sent me or the app itself it says my password is wrong almost every time. So I just changed my password again and I go into the app and click on the rewards to spin the dial and it tells me that you’re sorry but I have to set up an account to do that. But I just logged into the account. what gives?

Apple Pay and Payment Difficulties. I’ve had several issues getting Apple Pay to work in store for it to be advertised as feature at every table. I have yet to get it to work, the same goes with Google payment. Also, when ordering take out I wish Apple Pay was offered as a payment choice instead of needing to type in credit card details every time I order.

I TRULY HATE THIS APP MORE THAN ANY APP I HAVE!. I’ve had this app downloaded forever! But I have never got to use it as long as I’ve had it downloaded! It either doesn’t let me sign in, when I have it on… leave me signed in, or when I’m putting in my order it will sit there and spin and pop up… WOOPS Something went wrong… if and when I finally get my order in… it has never taken my card for the payment!!!!! Of course when you call the restaurant itself they tell you that you have to come in! The whole point of me having these apps are for the points and curbside because I can’t stand on my legs for any period of time! I’ve never received any points, promo codes, I mean to tell you I have never received anything for the hundreds of dollars I’ve spent with Cracker Barrel! I have even stopped going because of the hassle, and waiting one night over 2 hours for them to bring out my food and them saying it was my fault when I clearly had proof I called them when I got there on my my phone! The food at this location has really dropped the quality from what it used to be as well and that’s from several people saying that. Oh I did send a letter to the corporate office about the night I waited for 2 hours. Never even received a response from them!

Look out! You’re $$ don’t count if you pay at table. So frustrating. Just realized that using the quick “Pay at Table” even when you are logged into the app, as soon as you scan that barcode it takes you out to the online portal and you would have to log in again. Asked to have my bill added to the rewards at the cashier and was told no, you have to call corporate. Either take off pay at table because your servers are pushing both the app and pay at table, add “Pay at Table” WITHIN THE APP, or, have a place to scan your receipt to add missing “pegs”.

Absolutely terrible. This app is slow, clunky, and frequently doesn’t work at all. There have been times I could not order from the app if my life depended on it, even if I had all the time in the world. Most recently, it doubled everything in my order. Tripled all the jams and butters I asked for. Thankfully I caught it before I checked out but it took 20 minutes to reduce it back down to the original order. I’m still getting 18 blackberry jelly’s and 6 apple butters. Frustrating does not begin to describe this experience. Cracker Barrel…. Do better!

TIME WASTER. First, why in the WORLD is the menu not setup like the menu in the store!? I couldn’t find ANYTHING. THEN, after I selected what myself and my family wanted, I hit the submit order button and it tells me I can’t purchase something in my cart.. WTH??? Then don’t let me CONFIGURE THE ITEM!!!!!!!!! This happened TWICE and I had to keep putting in my order details because it was deleting my info!!!! ALSO, whoever coded this app needs to fix the fact that every time I click in an info box when entering my checkout details it slides to the bottom of the screen and I can’t see what I’m typing in!!! It took me 25 MINS to order our food AFTER we had all decided what we wanted (not including me having to re-pick two times bc it didn’t tell me I couldn’t buy something) Good riddins! Next time I am warm out and just want to place a mobile order so I don’t have to cook at home I’ll remember to call my local diner instead. What a TERRIBLE mobile order experience.

Perfect food, perfect app. This app is sheer delight with the Cracker Barrel app. From seamless navigation to a vast menu selection, ordering was a breeze. The food surpassed expectations – each dish bursting with flavor and authenticity. The service was impeccable, striking the perfect balance between attentiveness and respect for a leisurely meal. Cracker Barrel truly delivers an exceptional dining experience from start to finish, making every visit a memorable one.

Couldn’t complete order. I was excited to discover this app for a couple of reasons. First, we like the food but have difficulty enjoying the LOUD restaurant environment, so we don’t get to enjoy the food very often. Second, someone in our household is sick. Because of this I wanted to place a curbside order to avoid potentially exposing anyone else. Unfortunately, after multiple attempts my order failed with a “Token Error.” I called the restaurant to place the curbside order and was sad to learn they were unable to do so, I would need to go inside to pay. I’m sad we still won’t be able to enjoy Cracker Barrel’s yummy menu options without putting up with the excessive noise created by the poor acoustics in the dining room.

So easy to use!. Just saw it pop up as an option when I went to order. At first I was worried that using this app would be hard. There are so many options to choose from at CB that it would be so easy to get this wrong. But it was so easy to navigate! It was almost like they designed it knowing that I’d need help choosing from all their great options. Someone at CB really understands what people want from their app. We’ll done!

Love It!!. Cracker Barrel is one of the very favorite restaurants. Where else can you get a reasonable meal without spending a lot of money? Also there’s variety including breakfast and dinner And desserts are great. I would like to have a few more pies than what you have for sale. The buttermilk and pecan were really good.

Missing some options. App generally works well however there is no option to pay by cash or gift card. There is also limited ways to customize an order. My biggest complaint is that the app will always say "you're order will be ready at ..." but it NEVER IS and I end up standing in the store forever waiting for my food . With this said I do love Cracker Barrel and all they do for the RV community

So Many Problems. This review is based on experiences over the years, not just one experience, so I don’t remember all the full details. All I know is that my family loves the food at Cracker Barrel—they never disappoint. We often prefer to order out instead of eating in, and whether trying to order online or in the app this process has NEVER been easy. Some examples are: lack of clarity on how to switch the order from delivery to pickup, having to re-enter the entire order when trying to change something difficulty making substitutions and numerous other technical issues. If not for these factors complicating the ease of ordering pickup, we likely would have eaten here about twice as often as we actually have. I’m sad to not be able to bring my business here as often as I want to.

App VS call in. In this age of Covid and the CDC telling everyone to be cautious of those around you, calling in to the store to make a to go order doesn’t make it easy for those with loved ones at home with Covid. I’ve been exposed and you tell me you can’t take my card over the phone or add to an app order, I’ll have to come in to the store and possibly expose others but I can make another mobile app order and pay on the app. I’ll take the app all day long rather than trying to call in and get people on the phone who are rushed and show no consideration or understanding. Customer service has reached an all time low.

App needs some work. I have always liked Cracker Barrel‘s food, but using this app is frustrating. It shouldn’t be that hard to order food. My wife and I attempt to use this app traveling. Look ahead on Google maps and find a Cracker Barrel that’s convenient for us and then order out. It’s always frustrating. Have one of your developers look at the Chick-fil-A app. That’s a great app.

Waitlist is completely useless. Signed up for the waitlist and was given a 30-40 minute estimate on when to arrive for our table. I have two children 2 and under, so this was going to be very helpful. We got a confirmation text with the same estimate time and arrived on time. We checked in with the hostess and after 10 minutes of waiting in the crowded store, we checked in again for a time estimate. She said it would be another 15-20 minutes. When I mentioned the estimate we were given, she said the app isn’t connected to what’s happening in the store. Texas Roadhouse has their system figured out. I don’t know if there’s any connection, but it’s worth it for the app developers to find a way to connect the times to the store otherwise the time estimate is completely pointless and frustrating.

Rewards is a waste of time to bother. I find it to be more bothersome to staff behind the counter when staff fails to ask if you’d like to add rewards and when you try to add rewards after you’ve paid, they tell you it’s too late to add points once you’ve paid for your bill. I’ve had this happen more than once and now it’s not on my mind anymore to bother with peg points. This rewards program was a flop in my opinion. But the foods still good!

Can’t complete an online order. Constant error messages pop up when trying to add items to the cart. When we finally get everything added, we get an error when submitting the payment. This has been happening for months. I can’t believe the app hasn’t been fixed yet. We end of giving up and having to phone in our order, then walk inside to pay. Forget curb side pickup.

“Something with wrong”. This is probably the worst app I have ever used. When trying to place an order it just spins and spins and then an error message pops up. Then, I close the app and when I open it the food will usually show there is something in the cart but when it gets clicked on the screen is blank. I had to open and close it 4 times just to get all the orders in the cart and for it to show up. Finally I tried to check out and after putting my info in and checkout it kept spinning and spinning and then popped up an error message. After trying 3 more times I finally stopped and ordered from a different restaurant with an app that works smoothly. They need to find someone that knows how to make an app that can operate.

Great app BUT. This app has improved amazingly. The reason I don’t give it a 5 stars is because it won’t allow me to set up a schedule. Doesn’t matter what I do I have to pick up my food in 20 minutes. I went to the website and I was able to schedule a time for me to pick up the food for any time I wanted. Also, it won’t saved your credit card information. I should have the option to save it if I want too. Developer Response (We're so glad you're enjoying the new app and thank you for the feedback! Whatever time I do my request, that’s the time it will stay and once I finished my food request it shows food ready 20 min from the time I requested. Date will change but not the time. In the website no issues.

Truly never seen a more worse app than this. I like your food, but y’all have got to fix this abomination of an app. I get errors saying “order cannot be ready before 4:45 or something like that” when I selected ASAP. And then I get errors like “update available” when there is no update in the App Store. I have flat out given up trying to get food here anymore because these stupid issues! You’re gonna lose potential money from customers if you don’t get this app straightened out!

Good Food - Terrible App. I’ve had this app for quite some time but it rarely works right. I can add things to the cart okay, but when it comes time to pay I usually get the spinning wheel of death followed by the “oops something went wrong” message. We like the home style food, so the app not working doesn’t stop us from ordering, it’s just beyond frustrating and feels like a waste of time to even try it first. I have found it faster and easier to just call and order to go. Have to go inside to pay though. Developers… we just want you to fix it. I don’t have these issues with a lot of other food order apps so I know it’s possible for them to work correctly. Cracker Barrel… if you’re not going to spend the money to fix it, at least let us still earn rewards when we have to call in. 🙏🏼 Please and Thank You!

We love Crackle Barrel Food, but we hate the app. We love Cracker Barrel food and the Cracker Barrel shopping experience. But we just tried to sign up for the app, because we use Cracker Barrel so much, and the requirements of the app were absolutely tedious and frustrating. And, even more concerning, to complete the app sign-up process, we had to say that we would allow Cracker Barrel‘s promotional partners to access our personal information. In all my history of signing up for apps, I have never been forced to choose this requirement. So, I backed out of the app and did not complete the process. Because I don’t want to be forced to allow other companies to access my personal information in order to be part of Cracker Barrel’s process.

Great, but…. If you don’t want to store the credit card info, at least be nice to provide me with a numeric-only input to enter my credit card number. Also it would be nice if you to process my cc expiration date and add a slash in there or at least put a placeholder to see what format you expect. And it would be terrific if I didn’t have to log in every time. My password manager does not pick up that I’m on Cracker Barrel site. Basically, I am very lazy. The less time I have to spend retyping the info, the more I’m likely to order.

Doesn’t work. I downloaded this app a few weeks ago. First time I used it, it worked great and no issues. But every time after that it has not worked. I either get a message saying the app has to be updated (even though there was no update available) or an error message. I even tried ordering through their website instead as a backup and I get error messages there too. The whole online ordering system needs an overhaul.

Good overall. All in all the app works great. A couple additions that would be nice are 1- a section to type out a request 2-a way to order extra gravy. Also tricky with the rewards, if you go back from the check out screen it removes the reward without warning.

App doesn’t work. I finally downloaded the app and joined the rewards program because this restaurant is on our way when we are headed to the hospital to visit a family member. It has not worked properly yet. It keeps telling me my email and password do not match. It will then let me change the password and let me in but if I log out I can’t get back into the app with the password that I just created. This is very frustrating and I am ready to delete the app. Please fix it!!

can’t place order. I love the meals here but this app has been so frustrating today. I tried 3 different debit cards several times, restarted the app, double checked my balances, started my order over twice and still had no success. It just kept saying something went wrong and didn’t even tell me what went wrong. 🤬

Terrible app. I’ve had this app for a long time. Not once have I been able to just open it and place my order. I usually have to fight with it 20 minutes before I actually get my ordered placed. It seems to be different issues each time. Today it wanted me to sign up for the rewards program. I didn’t care to, but it was determined I would. I filled out the info but there was no submit button. So I was stuck in that page. I closed it, reopened, and still on the that page. I deleted the app and re-downloaded. Opened up right on that same page. So, I just deleted it for good. I went to the website and ordered from there. Surely an organization as big as Cracker Barrel can afford competent app developers. Curbside service and the food are great or I wouldn’t bother at all.

Error: could not load shopping basket. What’s the point of offering online delivery through an app that won’t ever let you check out? I wrangled the family, I passed the phone around to enter all the choices, tapped “Checkout Now” and all I get is the error message above. Might be for the best… We’ve had more trouble getting our orders than you would believe. Happens every time we order. Without fail, something is wrong or something is missing. Sometimes several things. And don’t get me started on the quality of what we get, and how quite often the things we order are pathetic replicas of what they’re supposed to be. Honestly I truly don’t know why we keep ordering from you guys. You sure give us plenty of reasons not to. Incidentally, I’m running the latest version of the app on the latest version of iOS.

What happened to app!?. The ability to get on the waitlist used to be a great feature, sadly not anymore. Signing in on the app does absolutely nothing now. When we arrive to the restaurant, we are quoted the same wait time as the app showed 30 minutes prior. Also you dan no longer tap “I’m here” on the app, the feature doesn’t work. Plenty of restaurants have an app for waitlist that actually works, this one is useless.

How is this rated high??. Tried again… still the worst of all restaurant apps, by far. NEVER WORKS, EVER Every single time, it’s one thing or another! Something about “token no good” or card expiration won’t go in, or timing is messed up! Instead of adjusting pickup time to 20 min from when I hit “order” it says 19 minutes isn’t enough time! There’s no Apple Pay or even a way to save credit card so I don’t enter it every time. The food is good, the app is terrible. I hope you’ll get someone to make a working app & fire your grandson in the basement trying to make this one!

Good but major quirk. Overall not bad, does what you’d want a food/restaurant app to do. However, I am unable to sign-in to my account. Just see “Loading…” (It’s been doing this for 10 minutes now, as I write this.) Still can pay for meal without signing in but have to key in payment information every time.

Weak. This isn't a very good app, but the good is so good there it doesn't really matter. Crashes a lot.

UX Designer and Dev Team needs to meet again. Hey team, the app’s not working, the UI is loading slow, and the cart won’t update immediately. I have been trying to order for 45 minutes now. First, online. Then I downloaded the app… something’s not right. I have to exit the app and get lost in the world in order for my cart to update. At the time of this review, I notice that an update for bug fixes happened a month ago…? Can we get another one ASAP, please?

I really wish I could use the app. We love Cracker Barrel and would love to use the app to order, however the customization options just aren’t as complete as if you call in. This basically forces us to have to call everytime. I’m sure if we ordered the generic meal this app would work fine but if you need to customize anything the app really isn’t detailed enough.

Much improved!!!. This is so much easier to use than it’s predecessor. A genuine app experience that is seamless and easy to use I’m looking forward to see how this incarnation evolves and expands in it’s capabilities.

Better to call. Started ordering on the app and once I saw that the earliest I could order it for was an hour and a half after when I was ordering it I just called the order in and the order was ready in 20 minutes

Awful Experience. I tried adding items to my cart in the app, wouldn’t work. I tried going to the website on my phone to place the order, every item was unavailable for whatever reason. I couldn’t use my reward or gain any points. Very frustrating experience, probably won’t go through the effort again. Do the geriatric customers also monitor the app?

Fix the app so that it either stays logged in or works with a saved password. There is no excuse in this day and age to have to type my password in manually on iPhone every time I start the app. Updated from one to Two Stars since the developer responded.

New app. Great job. Very user friendly. Remembers your info so not to input every time. So much better and I appreciated your making changes to meet your customer. Thank you.

Strange Estimates. The new version of the app has an issue with the estimated pickup times. At 6:14pm the estimated time on an empty cart was 6:44pm, then added an order of pancakes, and the estimate when to 7:04pm. Moved to the website (used same restaurant location), placed an order for pancakes (and three other entries), got a pickup time of 6:42pm.

App is horrible.. Tried to the use the app for the last 3 months and only once did it let my order be placed. It always says “something went wrong” or “the store you are ordering from is closed” today I tried to order and it says “app must be updated to place an order” but there is no update available. Get it together folks!

Great place. Only thing I could complain about is too many good options to pick from. App works great, service is great every time.

Great! Just need some minor adjustments. Love the app, however I would suggest a box for special instructions or requests. For example the ability to make notes about allergies.

Too Woke for Us. I have been a loyal customer of Cracker Barrel good money in their stores during that time. This ends today. After Cracker Barrel turned their backs on their customers bye going all in for pride month, I have deleted my account and the app, and will never return. I know plenty of other people who will do the same. This all could’ve been avoided by staying politically neutral, and knowing who your customers are. Cracker Barrel will now get the Bud Light treatment from here on!

Why even sign in?. I like the app, but simply based on the fact that you have to type your payment information every time (even if you log in) prevents a 5 star rating.

Customer Service. You are always met with a smile or hello from the store staff! I love just browsing around the store and finding all the great products they have.

Good redesign. I like the redesign, it feels quicker and more responsive. Please add a payment option for Apple Pay so checkout can be even quicker. Thank you!

App review. Very easy to navigate. I like that there are photos of each item. Locations easy to find. Overall a 5 Star in my world.

Friday fish fry. What was every week has become every five weeks, I can no longer afford it as it has gone up four dollars for fish and french fries, I just can’t afford to be gouged

Consistent Quality. Cracker Barrel is our go to place for eating out and ordering carry-out food. The food is always good and service dependable. For real southern-style food and moderate prices, you cannot beat Cracker Barrel.

Wait times are wrong. App tells you 5-10 minutes when the actual wait is longer. For example, I’m standing in CB right now. App said 5-10 minutes. Actual wait they tell you when you walk in: 30-40 minutes. The app still says 5-10 minutes. Therefore, pretty useless. And I’ve been waiting 32 minutes at this point. Deleted!

One of the single most frustrating apps I have ever used. Food is good. I pick it up for my mother on the weekends. But you’ll say that you want curbside ASAP. The app will say “We can have it ready by 4:45, that ok?” I select “ok”. By the time I enter my cc info (doesn’t seem to like Apple Pay) and confirm the order …. “Sorry! We can’t have it ready by 4:45. Please choose another time.” And then I have to re-enter my cc# all over again. Such a bad app.

App works except it doesn’t. Tried to order with the app and we received an error because the app needs an update. The app is currently up to date. If I could order with the app then I’d give it 5 stars. Probably a bug that needs fixed.

Missing features. Why is there no option for Apple Pay or save payments when placing an order for pickup? I cannot find previous orders to quickly reorder anything. Otherwise the app works fine it’s just a Pat to always enter my card info after manually entering my order every time.

Rewards Points. If I forget to give my reward number when I’m onsite, there should be a way to enter transaction details from my receipt later

Mobile order. It’s quick easy to read

Food is very good, but phone service is horrible. Yes, food is very good pretty good price in-store service is pretty good but don’t ever call Tyson water. You will be waiting for at least 30 minutes. It happens every time and they might forget some of your food item that order.

Both site and app are amateur. Please have a real dev team review your usability issues on both app and website. You’re missing standard features, like auto fill and stored info, and you suffer from slow loading and errors. Love your restaurant, but your site has been terrible for years and the app is barely better. So many times, we’ve just given up and ordered elsewhere.

Love the new website!. After years of struggling I’m so happy to see your new website! It’s a dream to use and no glitches! Only negative I have is it won’t let you store a credit card otherwise it’s great!

App. This app is missing items from the menu like the buttermilk chicken, and the momma and grandma specials and it gives incorrect wait time was giving 15 minutes and it was actually 30 minutes wait. I love the food but this app needs to account for the restaurant times so we are not wasting time

What is wrong with this thing?????. I love the food, but this app is the worst. It lets me add everything to the order and returns a random error at least half of the time when I try to checkout. I have been lucky a few times with it working, but most of the we have to call because this app is so unstable and frustrating

Extremely pitiful app. 99% of the time we have to call in our order after trying multiple, unsuccessful times with the app. What is funny is when you call in to order, the recording on the phone states “for a seamless order experience, download the app….”. How are you supposed to get the reward points etc. it just doesn’t work.

Frustrating app. Every time I try to play the rewards game, it tells me “we’re sorry” and to refresh my browser. I’m not in a browser, I’m in the app. I tried removing the app and reinstalling it and that still doesn’t work. Not really cool that I can’t play like everyone else.

Partially useful. Great for getting a reservation as we’re heading over to the restaurant, but the payment feature never worked since it was introduced into the app. This leads to long queues at the payment counter after the meal. Staff at the restaurants say they are aware and have countless feedback, but it’s never been addressed.

App is junk. Error on ordering condiments constantly. always have to re-enter credit card information. won’t finish sale without an error. Tells me the app needs updated before it can finish the sell but the app is as updated as it can get. Junk junk junk. Scrap the app and start from scratch

Love the app!. I love that I can place orders for delivery and also pay on the app when dinning in the restaurant. Also really enjoying rewards!

Not good. The first time I used it, I was able to order one dish but then I couldn’t order a second. The menu disappeared and the tab that said “all” (presumably to see all the dishes) was not functional. So my spouse got her dish and I went to a nearby Taco Bell for my food 🙁.

Pretty AND Easy to Use!. It’s so easy to order online through the app, bonus points that it looks great too!

Good Food. Good food. My breakfast was delicious. Came just as I ordered. Could not get my points applied through the app. I paid cash downloaded the app to register my tickets. No place on app to do this. Please fix.

Deletes your order wastes time. You will go through the process of putting your order in your cart only to get to the checkout screen and for it to delete your entire order from your cart. Now I am going to eat somewhere else instead of going here because this is so annoying and ridiculous.

Needs improvement. This app is so frustrating. Nine times out of 10 It does not work. They need to work on staying logged in, maybe face ID, storing payment. Maybe add a favorites option as well. I cannot tell you how many times I went to put an order in, and it would not let me process it when I was ready to check out. When it does work, it’s great. Like I said, 9 out of 10 it doesn’t.

Rewards Program. It’s nice that you finally created a rewards program the Bonus Game for example, I will NEVER fill the board as it is just me (My husband passed away) so I’m not going to buy a family meal basket. Just something to think about when you’re think of rewards ideas

Love it!. Great food at a great price. We are a family of 6 and we can’t eat anywhere just as good any cheaper. The food is always good and the servings are always plenty.

So fast and easy!. The changes in how to place an order are great! So fast and easy. And it looks so good. Love the moving logo when you open the app!

How is this 4.8 out of 5 stars reading the reviews?. How is this app rated 4.8 out of 5 stars?! I have a long history of this app truly being the worst I’ve ever dealt with. I came back tonight to check on the status and saw it was 4.8 out of 5 stars. Then I sorted the ratings by “recent.” There is no way that this app is rated 4.8 out of 5 stars especially since reading the reviews and seeing nothing has changed.

Awful app. This app is so irritating. I hit forgot password, and never received a link anywhere (not spam or inbox). I have “checked in” for curbside on the app and waited 27 minutes even though it had confirmed my check in, just for me to have to unload my toddler and go into the store because it never went through. It crashes frequently, won’t allow gift cards, just so frustrating.

Good service. My last order had a couple errors and I contacted store and manager was so kind and fixed issues right away! It was a to go! I eat here regularly because of the service!!! And kindness!

Love the curbside. I love to order curve side. When I m tired from work and just want to pick up something and go home it is easy/peasy!

Please fix your app!!. I would eat hear 3 days a week if I could easily use this app. Please fix these issues! -Will not keep me logged in. -Will not save a payment method. -Cannot change order location after order has been added to cart. -Does not use apple wallet. -Cannot easily change or alter my saved location. - Use face ID. MAKE THIS EASY!!

Glitchy and Annoying. Every single time I’ve used this app, every single time, there has always been an issue. Order items won’t update - app is glitchy - freezes - crashes - you can’t choose the correct items you want because they don’t even have the options - I could go on. They seem to have recently “updated” it but it’s far from being a useful app. Don’t waste your time and energy trying to use this!

Horrible Horrible App. 5 stars for the food. Zero stars for the app and To Go experience. I would eat Cracker Barrel six days a week if I could easily and accurately order it to go, but I haven’t eaten there in over a year because of this app and the fact that they don’t answer the phone if I attempt to call my order in. Whomever is in charge over there, shouldn’t be in charge.
