A very helpful app for nervousness and anxiety. There are times when a person needs help right now. Anxiety can be a horrible experience. This app is a real friend. It has everything needed to provide instant help. The breathing and music are wonderful. But, they need to have a longer session of slow breathing for those who also have high blood pressure and need some extra help. Also needed is a journal that gives the date. Keeping a record of the dates helps you to see if perhaps you have a pattern to your anxiety. It also just makes sense. Also, a lock to the journal is needed. I'm glad this is now a Universal app. But, there needs to be a way to sync the data from one device to another. The absence of that makes the app somewhat less useful. Finally, the iPad interface is not as nice as the previous version. If I got my "wish list", this would be a 5 star app. Regardless, I do highly recommend it. The bottom line is that is calms you down and gives you back your life.

Love At Ease. This is one of the best meditation apps out there! I love it!

Great for anyone who suffers from anxiety. I started using this app a few months ago when my anxiety was acting up and it has really helped. Now whenever I start to feel anxious I use the techniques taught in this app and I don't get nearly worked up or anxious as I used to. I also use it when I have trouble sleeping. Highly recommend this for anyone who suffers from anxiety or insomnia.

Deep breathing. Deep breathing is really good but they are just way too short! The app does not have ability to lengthen the mediation’s, either. If I had known this before-hand, I never would of purchased this.

Replay guided meditation. I would like to request a repeat button that would continuously repeat the guided meditation without it stopping and having to press replay. I get to a relaxed state and then it ends. Please include this feature. Mary's voice is so soothing.

Great meditations. I love Mary Maddox's meditations. I wouldn't have gotten into meditation if it weren't for her apps. Pro tip, she also has a podcast through iTunes with many more, just search for Meditation Oasis. My only suggestion for improvement is that it needs an option to continue the music after the meditation is done. Some of her apps have this and others do not, but they should ideally all have it.

a really great relief for work stress and anxiety. Mary's voice is a really effective pacifier. I've been using this app to calm myself when I feel anxious or stressed, as well as to guide my daily meditation practice. I highly recommend it!

Great app. I really like the journaling available in this app. It makes you use your mind to help control the anxiety and stress rather than just deep breathing. If you use it, it really makes you think yourself out of the anxiety.

Sleep affirmations help!. Need one more hint. When something really hurts (sprained ankle, stiff back etc) how to use sleep affirmations to deal w a real problem or pain would be great. Also--price is high. Esp when one of sleep affirmations is nearly identical to isleep

A Great Component for Dealing with Anxiety. This app, and meditation in general have been very helpful for me. This app helps introduce beginners learn how to meditate and also helps more experienced meditators focus while they're experiencing anxiety. The guided journaling asks you the right questions to help the user learn about their own experience with anxiety, something that is hard to do on your own especially while you're in the depths.

Great app. I must say this app is very relaxing. I have generalized anxiety disorder and this is a great resource tool.

Smartly done and well worth the price.... I'm a big fan of Meditation Oasis' work in general and was excited to see this app come out, as it definitely suits a need for me. It is nicely designed and easy to use. My favorite feature is the voice-instructions for each step. This is a huge bonus for people with anxiety. The simpler you can make an app like this, the better. The guided meditations are excellent and Mary's voice is angelic. Beyond that, the advice given for coping is well thought out and mirrors concepts found in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as other long-standing, accepted processes of dealing with anxiety. In other words, this isn't just someone telling you to "relax." While it IS very relaxing, there is a science to what the app offers. Improvements could include longer meditations, more meditations and better functionality of the journaling pages. (Even voice-journaling in the future?) There are a couple of other minor tech issues I think they could improve, but none that affect the effectiveness of the app. This is well worth the low price and is a must-have in your arsenal against anxiety and stress.

So helpful. I find the narrator's voice so calming. I really like the words chosen for meditations such as "easily favor breathing." Enjoy!

At Ease--the name says it.. This app, as well as Simply Being, by Mary and Richard, is a gem. At Ease is easy to use and multifaceted in its approach to helping with anxiety. There are helpful instructions for the breathing meditations and for journaling. I have never had much luck with meditation techniques because of, well, anxiety. The anxiety of trying to do it correctly. The gentle voice and guidance put me At Ease. The Journaling has also been helpful to me and has led to some insights about my anxiety. And when I emailed for technical help about syncing between my iPad and iPhone, I got a rapid response. Thank you, Mary and Richard, for sharing your work.

Very calming. These meditations and the journaling are very helpful. Agree with the poster who wrote that the music should continue after the guided meditations in case you want to continue. The journaling is also helpful. A good "mini course" on managing anxiety.

Breath Aware Meditation is a Life-Saver. I suffer with anxiety and I've been using the Breath Aware Meditation daily and it has helped me tremendously! The woman's voice is so soothing. I haven't explored the whole app yet but I will. A big thank you to the developers for creating this app!

Finally. I have searched for a simple but effective meditation method. Thank you. I Was so tired of everything being a subscription and droning on and on about countless topics. I anticipate that many of those other apps will soon have meditations on in-grown toe nails or dandruff. Then happily charge you a monthly fee. Not for me! To the creators of this app thank you. Please never submit to the subscription method. In my opinion subscriptions are contrary to the idea and purpose of meditation.

Brilliant! So much calmer.. Last year, I suddenly developed panic attacks and general anxiety in-between the panic attacks. I had no idea why I became this way at the time, which led to more and more anxiety and depression... until I came across two things... This wonderful app, and a great book "Hope and Help for Your Nerves", which went a long way to explain exactly why i felt the strange sensations of anxiety and panic. Both the book (not related to Meditation Oasis) and this app worked together wonderfully and were the two instruments that led to almost complete relief of my daily problems with panic and anxiety. I very highly recommend this app... It is absolutely worth the small price.

At Ease. This was a huge disappointment. It's like listening to someone read a basic primer on anxiety .

Addictive. I love these breathing meditations. Life long anxiety sufferer, beginning meditater, I feel refreshed and happier after using this tool.

Meditation oasis. Excellent relaxing soothing experience definitely worth the few cents it costs to relax anytime you like or need to relax.

Novel Approach. It's a 'hustle bustle' world and maybe some people like that. If you don't, try this app to unwind and cope with anxious feelings associated with the busy world. The app provides practical exercises and some guided meditation to help. A well designed app too!

Not bad, could use Updates. It's not a bad app. I like the contents of the app as a whole. I think the journaling process should be more in depth. I think you should be to enter different journal entries for every new day, instead of just one long entry you have to repeatedly type in. That would make it more organized as user friendly. I like that it has meditation and breaking stuff. The audio is nice too, since it's there but you don't have to listen to it. But overall could use updates to make it a more day by day thing that's more user friendly.

Constant reminders to about anxiety made me anxious!. I'm in agreement with a previous poster in regards to the mention of anxiety by the soothing female voice, and reminders of it over and over jarring me out of a comfortable space. Every time I started to get relaxed, I got told my anxiety was nothing to pay attention to. The very mention of the word altered my focus in a bad way. I can understand the reassurance early on, but 7 minutes into a 9 minute session, I shouldn't be reminded that I might have anxiety! Stressful, though it has lots of good qualities.

sleep highway :) get me there please. do u have an Adult version of the childrens version to doze off to get to sleepland? I want something that will not tell me to soon u will awaken ... rather u will drift off into a deep relaxing sleep with a positive affirmation to dream about too

Discovering it's helpfulness. I'm just starting to work with this app, so I haven't uncovered it's full potential. What I've learned so far is encouraging.

Disappointed. I have listened to Meditation Oasis for years. I thought this would be an expansion on many of the great meditations I have enjoyed. I was disappointed that there are only three fairly short and similar meditations. Had I know it is so limited, I would have looked elsewhere.

AMAZING!!!. I love this app! When I first saw the app I thought that the price was high and didn't know if it would actual work. Well I downloaded and it has done wonders for me! I used to be anxious all the time and this app is perfect for anyone who just needs to relax. The breathing exercises are just perfect (they really do work) and the music choices are nice. The journaling work right along with the breathing exercises. This is the perfect stress relief app. I only wish there were more music choices! The best!!!!

This is the one. Of all the mindfulness or breathing type meditation techniques and podcasts available, this is the most soothing, calming, accepting one for anyone who experiences anxiety. Although it is a meditation, it also has a hypnotic quality, with the suggestions to not try to push out the anxiety but instead focus on the pleasure of breathing. Highly recommended for healing and working with anxiety. Good luck dear listener.

Best Meditation Series. I love all of the meditation apps by mind oasis. They are calming and well balanced. The music is always lovely and I like how you can mix and match music to words. I would not hesitate purchasing any of their apps, I use them daily.

Meditation. Love this app. Information is very good and meditations very good also. Listen 3 or 4 times a week on my iPad great if you only have 10 minutes.
