Garbage: gAvoid this APP. I tried this APP on my recent trip to London. What a waste of timeline. This App is confusing and counterintuitive. It is also REDUNDANT, because the regular maps app on your phone already does a far superior job. Just put in where you want to go in London, select “Transit”, and it does a 50x job. It will guide you through what platforms and stops you need and even keeps you apprised o mr arrival times. Don’t bother with this garbage app.

Forget the map - get this app!. Simply stated, unless you are very familiar with the London "tube", this app is a must have! No need to puzzle over maps, or ask guidance from an English-challenged employee. Just open the app, go to route planner, and enter your beginning & ending stations. It'll show you the lines and changes to get there! You can even put a location like "Hard Rock Cafe" in for your destination, and it will route you to the nearest station! The only catch is you must have cell service and be willing to use it. Just make sure you get a good plan on your phone!

Pop up ads make app impossible. I loaded this app on my phone prior to a trip to London. And trying to search out various routes pop up ads come up right and left and make it impossible to even use the application. Would not recommend this at all. Looking for another alternative.

Does a so so job of route planning. Sometimes Google Maps is better for route planning. Sometimes this app is better. I use both and compare.

Makes Navigating London a Breeze. I found myself coming back to this app again and again despite also having the TfL app. This one is much more intuitive and I love the clean interface. It gives multiple options for connecting which is helpful if one line requires you to wait, or you need a specific line with multiple stops for different people. The offline options are especially helpful when on the underground as there’s no cell service.

Ended up using google maps more. I purchased the full version for $9.99 in advance of a trip to London. While the app is certainly helpful if you have nothing else, it’s less convenient than google maps if you need something more end to end. About 3 days into my trip I went back to google and felt it was more effective.

Was great until it turned into a subscription. I’ve used this app for years. I paid for no ads and extra features. Now the developer is wanting users to pay for an annual subscription. It offers me a “one time offer” for $9.99/year. I feel like if I’ve already paid for the app, I shouldn’t be held up for a subscription, and I have no intention of paying more. TFL has a great journey planner for free.

Great app for London Tube travel. Just got back from our first trip to London and using this app made getting around London to see the sights via the tube so much easier. It can show you the nearest tube station to your location and all you do it put in the location of the station you will be starting from and where you want to go and it does the rest. Gives you what t train to take and tells you what stop to get off. If you have to switch trains, it tells you the stop you get off ti switch the train and the next train to take and what stop for your final destination. This was great and the tube is so nice to use to travel around London. Highly recommended to anyone going there and planning ti use the tube. Much, much less expensive than a taxi.

Lost in London. This app was my savior. First time inLondon from the states and it was extremely easy to use. Thank you!

A Must Have Ap for a London Tourist. I recently went to London for the first time with my 19 year old son. We are from the US. If you are not familiar with the London subway system, this AP is a must as it immediately calculates the best route for your destination and provides easily understood, step-by-step instructions. It includes the underground and overground subway system as well as the TFL, which is the extended train system. Someone randomly recommended the ap to us and it truly made getting around London very easy which saved a significant amount of time and frustration.

Save Your Time (and your money).... This app could be amazing. I downloaded it to help me find tube stations and the best travel options; however, I cannot use this app because of the ads. I understand the need for the ads, but this app has pop-up ads that occur every 20-30 seconds. You get nothing accomplished and you barely get to view the page you’re looking at without accidentally clicking on a random full page pop-up. Obviously, they are hoping you will pay to remove the ads, but I’m not willing to pay $9.99 for an app I will use for five days. If you are visiting London and want a tube map, download something else.

Ads are obnoxious. I would honestly pay to buy this app if the ads weren’t as obnoxious as they are in the free version. I mean, lock out some features to make people want to upgrade, don’t bombard them with obnoxious ads every 20 seconds.

Worth it!. I’ve been using the free version of this app while I’ve been here in London for the past week and can say without reservation that it has worked well without issues. It’s well worth your time and effort to install if you need a guide for the London tube system.

Fantastic. Great app. Really made my trip to London easy to use the tube. Love that I can plan a route and save it.

Poor App. First, the app suggested that I pay $3.99 to make it ad free. I paid. But the ads are still there. The money appears wasted. Second, I have used the app just once and asked it to suggest routes from Gloucester Road to Tooting Broadway. It suggested going to Kings Cross on Piccadilly and then on Northern line. That is absurd since I can just get off at Leicester Square on Piccadilly and take the Northern line from there, saving several stations and about 10-15 mins. Clearly poor programming.

Great tool for visitors. I used this app for a family trip and it was very helpful for planning our routes. The flashing icon of our route stops/changes was really helpful for checking the exact route. Trip time and cost provided too. Great app. No doubt it saved time.

Very helpful. Very helpful for a recent London trip. Worked well offline and I really like that some of the major landmarks were included in routes in addition to stations.

Used for a week stay in London. I’m subway-averse and I get lost all them time. I often just overpay for taxis when I travel, but I made myself take the tube in London for a week and loved it. This app made the already easy to navigate tube even easier! I could plan my trips ahead of time and double check while on board to make sure I was heading in the right direction. As silly as it sounds, this app helped me get over a minor phobia and enjoy my trip even more. Thanks!

Not enough info to find train without additional assistance. As a tourist, I find the app difficult to use. The trip planner is great because it helps you figure out what lines to use. It does not however give you enough information to figure out if you were going north south east west, nor does it help you figure out The final destination which is how all of the trains are labeled. So it’s not quick and easy it requires you to try to find a map try to understand what the final destination is then try to find the train then try to find the list so you understand if you hit the final destination all of which you could do without the app which makes the app almost useless.

Love it. So easy! The route planner makes it so easy. You don’t even need to know the names of the stops, just general areas and it does the work for you! Lived here for three years and still use it every day!!

Not Happy. The “status”feature give the platform and direction (with ending station) of the trains at a particular station. The “route” feature only gives the time of the next train without giving the direction (north or south) nor the name of the end station. So if I get on the 11:25 am Victoria, I have no clue if I’m heading south (Braxton) or north (Walthamstow) IMHO, These people can’t think out of the box and deliver a superior app

Easy to Use. Reliable Information. Makes choosing a route easy and fast. Also shows how long it would take to walk. And the free version is fine.

The greatest mass transit app.... I have traveled to many of the biggest cities on earth that had transit systems and subways and this transit app, by far, was the easiest and most elegantly created and easily understood app I have ever seen for any subway system ever. This is the model that all other transit system apps should follow. In second place, the RATM app for Paris, France. Cheers to London and this app.

Too many ads to be useful. The ads pop up just as you are starting to find what you are looking for and are incredibly intrusive. They also freeze the app.

Very handy when traveling London. We used the tube map extensively during a recent visit to London. For us, the most useful part was the downloaded map, which we didn’t need internet access to view.

Your route planners are gold!. Your route planner for London, Paris and Barcelona absolutely made my recent trip abroad! The fact that navigating the cities was so easy freed up a lot of time to just enjoy our time! My only critique is that the Barcelona maps need which direction to take the line, like how it’s set up for London and Paris. It told you which line to take but not which direction so I had to look ahead on the map each time. Other than that these apps were gold and I will recommend them to everyone traveling to one of your covered cities!

Intuitive and smart. This app is everything I’ve always wanted in a transit app. Easy to use, clear, highly functional. Made getting around London a snap.

Ads make this app unusable. I used this app six years ago and found it invaluable. Unlike many apps, this let you plan the route long before arrival in London. Many apps require you to already be there. However, to use the app now requires the user to submit to very annoying game ads. The ads run for a long time and even then the user can’t get off the ad and back to the app. TOTALLY USELESS!!! So after six years, I am deleting this app. What a relief!

Huge Timesaver. I used this app extensively on our recent trip to London. The route feature tells you exactly which lines to take and where to change lines. For a small fee it even can tell you which exit to take and whether to try to sit near the front or middle of the train (the fee was well worth it in my opinion). I did not find the adverts overly distracting. A cool feature is that once you've plugged in your route, you can switch over to a familiar Underground map and it will highlight your stations so you know where you are in the city/system. 5 stars from me. I downloaded another paid London map app that was worthless but this app is fantastic. Thank you for making my trip much, much easier!

Touring London? This is a must have!. Have used this during several trips to London.... invaluable tool! Couldn’t navigate without it.

Worthless. The Elizabeth Line opened today after years (and years) of postponement. It’s not as if this app didn’t have sufficient notice. And yet, this line is nowhere to be found in their map or their line statuses. But there are various update history over the last several weeks with the app patting itself on the back for trying hard to be better. I have two words of wisdom for them: try harder.

Gets the job done. Only issue is that it won’t get first/last information for overground stations. 5/5 otherwise.

No Elizabeth Line?. This App is helpful and I’ve used it for years, but the new Elizabeth line hasn’t been added. I’m surprised as it has been opened for almost 2 years now.

A Question. I’m curious. Why is the smart phone version of your map different from the one I downloaded from Transport for London onto my desktop and laptop computers? The current TfL map is dated March 2019.

Not free in any meaningful way. The ads are so intrusive you really must pay to get rid of them. I just launched the app and got a full screen ad for some stupid mini game that blocked me from doing anything for an entire minute, complete with countdown timer. How can an ad that irritating even be effective? In any case, prepare to pay.

Upgrade all features. Great app. Spot on for planning best routes, especially for the novice to intermediate London Underground rider. Highly recommend upgrading to the best carriage to get on for exits. Well worth it.

Bad Choice. Used the free version on a recent visit to London. The Tube moves a lot of busy people and is often crowded. Just when you need it to decide which lines to get you where you want to be, and trying not to impede polite but busy people, you’ll get an ad. And not just a quick ad you can x out of, but one that forces you to endure for way too long. If you want to plan in advance, use CitiMapper, which includes more options to get you around by foot, train or bus. If you just need to navigate the Tube, you will find wall maps through out the stations, and they also provide free paper overviews of the entire system. I understand ads support free apps, but these make the app unusable on the fly.

This app defines what “legit” apps should strive to be.. Spot on with all the info you need in an app that is unbelievably easy to use, no pay-to-play BS, and a beautifully designed UX. This app is legit and is a must- have in London!!

Excellent Ap. The map of the London Underground is the best I have seen. Well worth getting.

Tube map. I would have given a higher rating, but a dog keeps interrupting what I’m doing. It is very annoying. I paid for no advertisements, and I don’t understand what this is about.

Travelled around London without cellular access!!. Works as advertised even when offline. Used extensively to map out routes to get around London attractions. This app plus contactless payment made our trip super easy to use the tube

Great Resource. Easy to use. Study it before you go and you’re a pro. Mind the gap!

Too many adds. For a casual traveler, not wanting the paid version, there are just too many 30 second adds. Citymapper is much better.

Absolute garbage. Can barely get to the basic functionality of the app due to all the pop ups asking for more access for things it doesn’t need and the adds that pop up full screen & can’t be closed while trying to enter route information.

First Timer. Everyone was very helpful and it was smooth sailing!!

Good App but very distasteful Ads. I am getting a pestering array of Ads every so many times I use the free version. These adds are not a typical banner at the bottom but are quite intrusive and disruptive. I used in 2019 to visit London in the same fashion but didn’t experience this Ads onslaught. I get the impression the developer is wants users so annoyed to buy the premium service. I am only visiting for 5 days!! Com’on developer, be a little nicer!!!!

Easy to use!. Great tube app, very clear and easy to use, love the way you can check your oyster card balance anytime from your phone, get this app!!

Intrusive ads. In a rush to work out which train to catch but frustrated by ads loading and can’t stop it. Garbage.

Fast, informative, very useable. Love this app. Have used it to plan my London itinerary and accommodation plus when in London step by step trip planning with stops and times is invaluable. Clear and fast. Love it.

Good for a third-party app. It has bugs (e.g., you keep getting errors for things that they've already changed), but it does routes and stuff quite well. Of course, it should be pointless as the government should fund an integrated transport app. Until then, this is very useful.

Terrific!. Always use this app when I need to navigate my way through London. Up to date with any track issues/delays etc. Love being able to input where I want to go and it does all the work for me, rather than standing around looking at tube maps and wasting time trying to figure out the easiest route myself.

Amazing but. Great app for a non-resident, good for route finding and gives relatively accurate times; when connected to the Internet you can see line conditions as well. However the app would be much improved by the developer being less concerned with presenting 'vote for this app' screens every time the app is switched in or out if focus, or at least some way to disable it. It severely reduces the usability of the app

Easy to use. Using it on a visit to London, perfect app if you a don't know the tube and trains well. Love the route planner and the map function which walks you through the route. Ability to download the map offline would be really useful.

OK and getting better. Wow, reported a bug one day and new version published the next ! One further suggestion - when you have your two stations selected as the home station and the one to which you wish to travel, they should automatically be the defaults for the route calculator instead of having to enter both stations again. Keep up the good work.

Problems with v3.0. Loved this app, but version 3.0 freezes at the opening image a lot when launching on my iPhone 3GS 32gig and eventually crashes back to the apps menu.

Brilliant. I live in Australia and travel to London annually. The app is just brilliant. I use it all the time. Saved so much time. The paid version will all the bell & whistles is well worth the small price. Best app I have ever bought. Works as advertised.

Great work, lads!. I'm an Australian, and when I'm in your lovely town, I was suggested this app when riding the rattler and tackling the rails. Mate, this app is bonza! It not only told me what lines to use when drunk, it made it all super bright and easy to read when I'm deeply immersed in my advanced tipsy stages. This app is up there next to my "several things to kill you in Oz" app and my "Sheila's are top stuff, mate" app.

Need it interactive with journey planner like the TTC. It should be interactive plus one should be able to plan their journey using this map, with the attached buses options; like how the Toronto Transit Commission does.

Installs adware safari extension. Be warned, this app installs a safari extension that can modify pages called “Shop and Save”. It’s a backdoor to install adware on your browser. This app should be taken down. Do not install it.

Loud intrusive ads. Loud advertisements pop up when you least expect it.

Great App!. This app is handy to have not only for quick information about the tube, but also for seeing what attractions are close to where you are. Get it!

Beware, there's a better version out there. When I first downloaded this app, it allowed me to set up and view the balance on my Oyster card. That's gone now. Then it offers me an upgrade under the presumption that it is the full version for an extra $2.99. I upgrade, and nope, it's not the full version. It just removes the ads. There seems to be another version for $3.99 that lets you add your Oyster Card to check the balance now. Very sneaky to have mislead a customer that an upgrade is only an ad removal and nothing more.

Absolutely flawless. We just spent a week in London using this app. It worked perfectly, with simple visual directions, guiding us through line changes, providing us with information such as the number of stations we would pass through and the time it would take to get to our final destination. We travelled the "Tube" with ease and confidence. We didn't have to waste any time deciphering the wall map. Thank you for this free app!

Brilliant. Brilliant piece of kit. Just remember you can see the route on the map itself using the small button in the top right in route view.

Great work!. This is a simple app that works great. I don't have the deluxe version so don't know what that's like. But I am familiar with the Underground enough that all I need is a map. But I find the pushed alert really useful. With an iPad with 3G and a SIM card (free) with 500 MB of preloaded data for £7.50, it's the way to go.

A must have for London. My last visit to London I relied on an old paper map and managed to get lost more than a few times. Can't go wrong now that I've got this app to guide me!

Excelent Stand Alone App. This is an excelent app. Lot of usefull features that works even when "not connected". This a big plus for travelers that don't want to pay a fortune in roaming charges or on a data bundle.

Great Tube app. Great app to help guide you through the London Underground. It's not only a map, but also provides updates on operation and service when if you connect online. I used it mostly offline as a map to figure out which line to use and which stop to get off during our vacation in London and it was very useful. Another great subway app from MX Data, thank you!

Helpful but crashes a lot.... Useful app but it crashes aaalllll the time for me, when it does manage to stay open it usually freezes. Normally I’m using it for quick checks, but it takes forever because it crashes 2 or 3 times before it eventually stays open. :(

amazing!. this app is a MUST have for travel on the underground in London. You type in where you want to go, to and from and it tells you exactly what tubes to take, how many stops and time traveled. I would have been totally lost in London without it.

In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

Ad attack. Can’t get to map each. Time I try. Only pushes ads

Current location. current location is read from 5 miles away and only the general area and not where I am at.

Ads, ads, and more ads.. Barely functional app due to gross volume of ads.

Horrible App. Unless you purchase the app don’t waste your time. It’s nearly impossible to use it before the screen is replaced by an ad probably every 15 seconds max.

Omits Nat Rail. Inaccurate for trip planning. Example: West Hampstead has three stations: Jubilee Line, Thameslink and Overground. Only the Jubilee Line is on this map. The Elizabeth Line isn’t shown either, although if you search on it, there’s a very detailed description.

Too many Ads. 30 second ads every 30 seconds makes app unusable. Use the National Rail Enquiry app. That’s the app the rail workers use.

Use google maps just as good. Do not waste your money google maps does an amazing job. Search using public transit option. I used google maps in London,Paris, madrid and Barcelona flawlessly. I wish I could get my money back.

Used To Be Great. Have been using this app on and off for ages, was brilliant. Now, it has so many pop up ads, it's unusable. No, I'm not paying a ridiculous annual price when there are free options available. Uninstalled.

Was a great ap. This was the only tube map I needed. Then it went to playing loud autoplaying ads randomly. Now it’s deleted.

Awful ads. Used to be a great App. I don’t mind paying the fee, but yearly?! Ads are horrendous

Non stop ads. Used it for many years but recently it became unusable as ads are non stop and take forever! On top all of them trick you when you try closing them. Deleting now. Enough is enough

Wrong ststion. My first ride took me to the wrong station. Beck down to another train, walk 25 min or a taxi? The taxi won out.

Overly Annoying!. This app is constantly interrupted by ads. Not worth the download.

Ads ruin it. Terrible app—one of the worst metro map apps of any city in the world. Absolutely choked with ads rendering it basically useless.

Total utter garbage. This is just adware, it doesn’t show the map long enough to use it. Why would anyone use this when there is literally a free official app.

Pop ups. Games pop up while I try to look at the app. Horrible.

The Ads are awful.. The free version has awful full screen ads that work disappear.

ads every 5 seconds make it useless. This is useless. Every tap redirects to ads which have a fake x button. Rubish

Very Disappointed!. This was a great app, but your ads have rendered it completely useless. It now starts frozen and takes 30–45 seconds to start working properly. Very irritating. The paper version is far more valuable if I’m in a rush.

Ads block map. If you don’t subscribe to the ad free version, once an ad loads you can’t get back to the map. Extremely annoying

Garbage. Lots of ads, unclear map, and wants you to subscribe to a yearly service. Get real.

Warning!. This app surreptitiously installs a Safari extension called “ Shop & Save” that can read and alter webpages and browsing history — this is listed nowhere in the app description or during installation or during runtime.

London Underground. Absolutely first-rate app ! Makes getting around London very easy.

Tube map. Nightmare…have to sit through ads while trying to find our way with no clear to exit.

Ads Galore. As soon as you bring up the app, ads display with no way to delete them. You are better off bringing a paper TFL map when in London.
