Beijing Subway - MTRC map App Reviews

Gets me where I need to be in Beijing.. Easy navigation and the map is up to date. No complaints at all. The caveat is that I've been here over a year so subway navigation is becoming second nature to me. But that being said, this is a great way for new Beijingers to navigate the subway.

Good app yet horribly outdated now.... Hey guys can you PLEASE update your map? This is seriously out of date now. Hell I'll update it for you if this is too much trouble. I'm just going to keep knocking stars off until it's updated...

Subway map. A subway map should have option for overlaying streets local to stops. Also nice to have is lookup places of interest - like hotels - and name the nearest line/Stop. Also, the names of the stops in ticket machines, when translated into English, is NOT the same as the translation to English used in the map or on the trains - this is confusing!!😄

Great app but map is OUT OF DATE. I love this app and want to keep using it but the map has been out of date for nearly a year now and is sorely in need of an update. If you are visiting Beijing and don't know the current lines the map on this app won't help you until it is updated!

Great subway map!. This app is the most accurate free subway map of Beijing that I have downloaded. The feature that allows you to find the fastest and shortest route is very convenient and It's t Great to have both the pinyin and 汉字 map. The only downside is they have been slow to update the recent openings of line 6 and the other half of line 10. If they keep on the updates then it will once again be the best subway app!

Good but outdated. This is the best Beijing subway mapping program, when it is current. Now it is slightly outdated since the Line 10 loop has been completed. Should be 5 stars once it is updated.

Travel direction?. I really like this app but I wish it would tell me the direction of the subway I should take. E.g “Take the 6 line towards blah blah“. I have to always double check to make sure I’m not going in the wrong direction

Great graphics. Great graphics, but you should really update your app. I know of a half dozen stations that are missing from your map.

Update. Is there an update planned soon? Universal Studios is now on the subways in Beijing and it would be good to know the fast routes.

Terrible. Didn’t even have the place I wanted to go on it. Couldn’t even use it. Terrible do not recommend there are an many better apps

Great app for a foreigner. I come to Beijing every six months, and this app got me back and forth from the Tennis Center all for $3 in subway ticket cost. Great app, I love how it hooks to Apple Maps to pull up routes...

- Grossly out of date. App works well but its map is currently out of date. At least two years worth of new Beijing subway lines have opened since this map was last updated, including the line to the new Daxing Airport. Look for another app that gets regularly updated.

DEVELOPERS PLEASE READ. I love your apps but there is an error with you Beijing map. There is a connection from Dongzhimen to beixinquao

Fantastic app overall. I love this app! Works great in almost all cases. It is easy to use if Mandarin is not your first language. It gives you both the stops you need to take and a nice route map. You can search by subway station or by attractions you want to get to. The only improvement I would like to see is more attractions (such as the Silk Market and some of the more famous hutongs) listed. It's great and free. The ads are a bit annoying but if you use it enough, it's worth paying for ad free.
