Worst platform ever. First, any story you click on comes up with a single paragraph and a read more bottom. When the read more button works at all, it takes several times of tapping it and waiting forever for it to load the rest of the article. Lately, read more just goes to a blank white screen. This app is as bad as the reporting! Fix the app and stick to the facts.

Hard to use. THE MUST BE RATING THEMSELVES Weather radar takes too long to load if at all (tried 3 devices ) TOO MANY ADS IN THE WAY. Frustrating to use CANT COUNT ON YA 4 =( Can not read your stories without freezing up, waste of app space, you used to be the best but your AD GREED has caught up, your not here to help, your here to sell me stuff . If you need WEATHER INFO USE WEATHER CHANNEL APP, IT LOADS & no AD GAMES

Loving it all day. We love to see all the news and a the Hart warming story’s every day

Love the KFOR App. We no longer live in OKC, but we have Family in Stillwater and Friends in Edmond and like to keep in touch with the OK news.

Adds. Adds cover the content, unable to read more than 2 lines at a time. deleted.

Great app but now no live broadcast. This was my “go to” news & weather app for many yrs. Recently they no longer have live shows - only recorded segments. It was really great to tune in to our hometown news/weather when we are traveling. 🙁 very sorry to see this feature taken down. Still a reliable source.

Mostly Nat’l News. I’ve tried using the app for local news several times and instead find national news coverage mostly. In the middle of historic weather, their main stories are about celebrities.

Great pop up and click bait app if that’s what your looking for. This is a great app if pop ups and click bait is what your looking for. Stories load slow if they even load but the ads are AMAZING. More ads than one could hope for. This app is designed as well as their FOX knock off news set with the sound quality of the drive in speakers you used to hang from your car windows.

Traffic. The traffic page is blank but everything else opens.

The Best & Most Reliable App for Local News. And I love that they don’t send a push alert out unless a) it’s confirmed and b) the story is ready to read on their website. Looking at you News 9 & KOCO 👀

My go to news app. It’s the only news app I have. But unless this is fixed, I’m picking someone else. The “continue reading” option... Fifty percent of the time, the app locks up when I touch the continue reading button. 100% of the time I have to tap this more than once for the whole article to show up. At first I thought I was being impatient but I wait five seconds... still nothing. Do we have to push a continue reading every time? And if so, can it be fixed so it’ll actually work?

Stories should open in full format. Lately, every story opens to just a few lines. Then you have to tap “continue reading” for the rest of the story. Just open it up!! Most of the time, when I tap continue reading, nothing happens. Story won’t open. It is so frustrating! I am ready to delete the app and follow a different channel.

Review. You guys are the best, bar none. Your app is amazing

To many pop ups. Used to enjoy, but now every story opens advertisement pop ups in new window. Ugh

Repeats and Freezes. Love the station but their app stinks!! The app may show the same story two or three times. It may even show a whole stream of stories multiple times. And it freezes up with “network error” frequently- a problem that gets resolved only by deleting the app and reinstalling. Frustrating!!!!

App broken. This was my “go to” app for local news but now it’s hard to see the news stories without inadvertently clicking on an ad. Also, the options to continue reading or share do not work so I can’t read the whole story.

Great app however.... The read more button on the news articles hardly ever works causing the app to crash.

I have a suggestion.. Please fix the app refreshing automatically whenever you exit a news story. It’s frustrating to have to load and scroll for several minutes to find buried articles and then having to scroll back down to my place after I exit the article. Would be nice if the app would save your place so you can continue looking through older/buried stories.

Fix!. The Continue Reading button in most articles often doesn’t work. This makes the app unusable. What do you need such a button? Is it too much work to put the entire article out there immediately.

Browser Hijacker. Constantly hijacks your browser to display pop up advertisements. I would recommend staying away from this app as I have now also deleted it!

Stop with the commercials in severe weather in the app. In severe weather if life is so important and we might only have a moment to get to safety why are we having to watch a stupid Sonic commercial or other commercials before we watch a “live” video of severe weather? I’ve emailed in many times and gotten no response.

Kfor heroes. Kfor has always been my fav. , always will be. Ive watched news in every town ive visited, & theres alot of them, but none compare to you guys !!!!

Needs work. Can close once you open. Send notifications and then the story isn’t there

Keeps crashing. This App was fine until recently. It freezes up often and shuts down

K4 app. This app is a must have! Especially when we have bad weather you need the 4warn! We used it last night so we could rest and listen for our phones it’s that reliable! I also love getting the news before it ever hits the actual air on television! Thanks to all of you that work there! I absolutely love everyone of you and keep you in our prayers!

Full of ads!. Have to get thru the ads leaves only two inches to read text. Waste of time to get actual info from. Pop ups before you can even see anything else. Just another way for the Corp to make $$$

Crashes Continually on iPad. Of the 3 main news apps for the OKC area, this one seems to crash & reload continuously when I click on an article. It has gotten to where I will not use it. This happens when it is the only app open.

Uses unethical clickbait. I enjoy the channel, but the app has begun to show two thumbnails of the same stories. Both look the same. One links to an ad and the other links to the story. You have to guess which one. If you select the ad, you get redirected out of the app to a website and have to kill that to go back to app. In the meantime, they’re making money off of your frustration. Neither thumbnail indicates it is linked to an ad. I’ll get my news somewhere else, I guess.

Repeat stories. The first two sections that come up when you open the app are the same stories. There are the opening articles, maybe three or four. Then just under that is “Suggested stories” that are allegedly based on stories you’ve read but it’s just the same as the first articles. Even if you don’t read them the first time BAM there they are again.

Kfor app. What happened to the live broadcast? I no longer have cable or satellite so I would always watch your live stream. I guess I’ll have to watch another channel.

No, no and no. From fantastic to completely horrible. I can’t even find the words to explain how sad I am about your most recent update. Yours was the only one of Oklahoma’s three major news outlets’ app that was worth anything. I could scroll and read until I was blue in the face and the news stories never stopped. And other than the ridiculous ‘continue reading’ button that broke more often than not, everything worked as it should. I never had to click a menu button over and over to see everything. And now this. It’s just like the others, maybe worse. Only a very limited number of articles. Gotta go to the menu for every little thing. And OMG it’s on-stop stuck. It’s like it has zero bandwidth and freezes every few seconds as it refreshes or something. Can’t even read an entire article without the ‘hold please’ frozen hiccups. IT’S HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE.

You’re “One” again. Should that be **once**again?

Freezes every couple of days. I like the content on this app, but it freezes every couple of days. So I have to delete and reinstall for it to work a few days more. “Tried reaching out to them at the station.... never heard back” familiar line.

#KFOR4LIFE. My Mom and Dad watched KFOR before I came along, so I have been watching KFOR my whole life and now I watch it with my Twins. “Is this a great news cast or what”?

Fix it!. I can see all the stories, it’s just every time I try to use this app, it crashes. I can’t even see stuff like traffic or weather using this app because all it does is crash. Fix it and you’ll get a better review.

Can’t read due to click bait. Constantly click baiting even though not touching screen. Pops you to online fake info stealing sites & completely takes you out of app! Getting worse with each update. Do yourself a favor & download News 9 instead. No accidental click bait or scam stories! Weather better there too.

Bring the weather maps back.. I don’t want that garbage 7 day - I uninstalled the app I’m not going to download 3 different apps, they could easily be integrated into one. Nice ad revenue I’m sure though.

New Update is Horrible!. I used to use this app multiple times per day to read the news. Now I can hardly navigate it. Also, it freezes horribly and makes my phone run much slower when I have it open. I guess I’m going to have to find a new news app.

Needs some work. Stories are not updated consistently. Other local news apps are, terrible customer service. Takes minutes to fully load a story, terrible.

No live footage. This past two weeks we have had horrible weather with tornado activity. I used to be able to go into this app and go to video on the lower right of the app, where if something was live or mike Morgan was on tv, I could simply open this app and would see a red dot by the video icon, which would tell you he’s on live, while on the go. That has not been the case lately. Whatever has changed is not working.

Love KFOR like we do?. If you love KFOR TV news like we do you will love the app! It’s handy and easy to use!

Awful app. Stupid ad keeps popping up every few seconds...I couldn’t even share a story because the ad would interrupt the texting process...so I deleted the app instead.

Apps quit working. This used to be my go to news and weather. My cable gives mostly Texas weather not much for our area. I had both apps on my iPhone XR and iPad PRO, don’t work. Both KFOR and 4 Warn apps freeze up. No pictures or articles show up when opened. After the updates all this happened. It’s weird that KFOR works on my husbands iPhone 12 Pro fine.

Ads block stories. The newest update will have full page ads that pop up and completely block the story. You can exit the story and load again to try to read a little more, and then an ad will pop up again 10 seconds later and completely block it again. I try to use your app even with the ads, and now the ads are literally preventing me from using the app so I’m going to switch to another stations app. Over the last 2 years on this app, ads being preventative for proper use of the ad have been an issue probably 4-5 times. Tired of dealing with this when other stations have the exact same story but don’t have glitchy ads popping up with each update. I have decided to just delete it.

Not worth your time. I’ve gotten 2 alerts that President Trump is live to update the nation on COVID-19. Nope, the China virus has touched everybody differently and they should be broadcasting any updates that are happening real time. I’m deleting this app.

“Continue Reading” button is driving me crazy!. This app used to be wonderful. New stories were added to the top. I could stroll through the news until I’d get to the ones I’d read the day before. I hadn’t updated my apps for a long time and when I did the format was entirely different. Please go back to the old format. Or is there a way I can go back to the old version that I had?

Doesn’t show full articles. In an effort to find good news app other than newsok, I recently downloaded this app. Too many notifications and doesn’t show full article. Or at least I couldn’t figure it out.

Live Streaming Crashes. I love being able to take the KFOR live streaming with me. However, even with the newer iOS updates the app still freezes during commercial breaks and does not automatically restart. Please fix this issue with freezing. I depend on this as my local news source. Thank you.

App appears to be hacked!!!!. This app used to be wonderful for keeping forewarned. Now it seems to keep popping up games to buy and taking me to pages I didn't request. Only way to get out of some is to force them closed by double tapping the home button. I've deleted it from my phone, but now trying to re-install it. See if that fixes it.

First class weather, local news. Current, accurate and easy to use. My go-to when I get an alert or hear thunder. Interactive radar easiest to use of similar apps. Local (and some national) news pushed on alert without being annoying.

Don’t use News 4 use news 9. To much click bait. The ap is so full of click bait it is hard to use and follow. Try news 9.

New update. I love the app BUT since the new update the app isn't working right. Very glitchy, videos don't play or stories won't load. Very upset when trying to read a news story 😳 OMG fix the appt! Still won't show stories

Could be great, but needs work.. News and sports are not updated frequently enough. Weather is good but a better scrollable radar picture would be nice. 7 day forcast takes forever to load on Edge network. A faster loading page would be great. After all if you don't live in OKC or T town no 3G. Looking forward to an update.

Weather info. Your weather is not very ergonomic. the picture is so tiny I can't even read it! and I don't want to see all those news articles below..I want to see the weather! I would also like there to be an external link when I click on the picture. also would like the screen to rotate in order for the picture to be even bigger.

News and sports are never current!. The news is always behind. If you want current headlines for Oklahoma use Safari. This app goes days without updating the news or sports. I agree with others that the weather section is lacking. I never checked it because it was so bad. If they would keep it current I would reinstall the app.

Used to be good ...... Since your update on may 20 the app won't stay open. Constantly closes. Fix needed. Sooo frustrating. update: when o when will u update this app? Freezes. Crashes constantly. Ads that I don't want. Videos play out of nowhere with no screen associated with them. That's just wrong. Fix it please. Of all the apps I use this one is horrible. Do you have competent IT people? Constantly crashes. Ads constantly open. Videos ads play out of nowhere. Very annoying. Can't stand being forced to view all their ads. Used to be able to read the news. Now can't because it either crashes or puts up an annoying ad. Now with iOS 10 the app is even worse. Constant crash. Can't read even one story. Horrible app.

No !!!!!. This is definately not an improvement. I am and have always been (40 years) a loyal KFOR weather follower on my iphone during spring time or a severe weather outbreak, at work or where I cant watch on TV. This "radar" is not what you guys are capable of bringing to us, - Ive seen your app go downhill with each update. I think I may go see what the app is like at the Gary E station :(

Won't work right since ios5. I literally use this app for news every day. In the past week since updating to ios5, 2/3 of the articles pull up to a blue screen with no article! I can't even use the app now

Would be great if..... This app would be great if it weren't for all the ads. I wouldn't mind them so much, except they cut off the ends of articles. I'll click on an article, get almost through reading it, and it just ends. Right in the middle of a sentence. And whatdayaknow, there's an ad there where the end of the story is supposed to be. Smdh

Crashes a lot. The interface looks great. There are a lot of interesting stories on the app but it crashes all the time for me. I'll be reading a very interesting story and then right in the middle of it, the app crashes. If the crashes could be fixed then it would be great.

Not bad, but Weather worthless. This app is pretty good giving me top news and sports stories off and on throuoghout the day, but the weather page is just photos of the radar, not any good for anything.

Great for local news. Please make the weather images able to be swiped to go to the next picture. You shouldn't have to close on the image and select the next one. I'd also like to suggest adding the morning forecast videos. It would be nice to be able to catch the forecast on my phone if I missed the news.

Good, but not great, listen why. This app is a pretty cool idea, now I don't have to wait and see what the weather it like, same applies to sports and news. It's convinience is a plus and it's simple format is a plus as well. Down sides: it's weather forcaster for the week is not working well, it would be nice if I could see it without waiting for a long time. Another downside is the limited news, not saying that it's a bad thing we don't hear a lot of chaos here but I'd like to see more than just 15 stories. Maybe some more tricks and special effects would help this be more interesting and cool. But all and all it's a good app to have if you must know the news. So good job news channel 4. And keep working on this app and I'll promise you you'll do good, maybe save a life or 2.... Maybe....

Not a bad first attempt.... It would be better if the seven-day forecast could actually load up. Live radar would also be significant improvement. Other than that, not bad at all.

Needs improvement. This app is just terrible. It crashes quite a bit and has too many ads. Looking to read what's going on locally not get spammed with junk. And there's a pop up saying as an iPhone user I win something and there is no way to close the message so I have to shut the app down and reopen. This app is a mess - doesn't event deserve the 1 star.

It used to be a decent app. What happened?. They fixed the auto rotate problem for iPad. The iPhone isn't too bad. But you still can only see one news item at a time on the iPad, unlike the old app where you could select from a number of items. I used to look at it on the iPad every day. Now I just look to see if they have made it more useful yet. Come on man, can't you guys see what you did?

Actual video from newscasts. The ability to watch recent newscasts is a very welcome feature. Webmaster needs to keep updates consistent and formatted the same. Great app.

App is bad!!!. The app is beyond frustrating!!! Cannot see the whole story!!! Changed to another news provider.

Could be better. Needs to be a way to expand the pics on each story also when you have a title that says "just released video" of a certain story then it would be nice to be able to view that "just released video"

Needs to work in landscape mode also. This app needs to work in landscape mode also. Can't believe these days that a company or developer would create an app that only works in portrait mode. Please update so it works in landscape mode also!

Pathetic and kinda sad. This app gives stories which link directly to their website. What's the point? After all, the phone has a browser for that. The weather portion is just a collection of current screen shots. Get the free Weather Channel app, that's way better. I didn't bother with the sports, but I'm sure it's just as pathetic as the news portion. Do yourself a favor and get the free AP app and Weather Channel app. Those actually do what they're supposed to do.

Good but slow. Shows a lot of stories but very slow on the weekend. Other local channels still show late breaking news on the apps on weekends where kfor is behind. They show more stories during the week but don't expect much on weekends.

Ruined. This used to be my go to news app but now it crashes all the time and ads pop up in the middle of the stories and trick you into clicking on them. Also, Mike Morgan issued a 10/10 for tornadoes when everyone else was calling for mostly hail, citing his experience in Oklahoma, and he was wrong so he lost some credibility with me. Think I'll try News 9!

It is awseome. I watched it during the may 30 tornado On the highway on my Iphone it is great but the stream could get a whole lot better I could not see the tracking of we're it was going and take the sub-titles off the seconds late now it has gotten a lot better flat simple and easy!

Great first version!!. This is a great first version! There could be a few changes like a radar overlay onto of a map, and some other tweaks but for the first version way2go kfor. I can't wait for the second update.

Great local news app.. My only complaint for this app is the 7 day forecast in the weather section. The 7 day forecast option takes forever, if ever to load.

Total Disappointment. After the latest update I am no longer using this app and have deleted it from my devices. No landscape mode on Ipad? That's a pretty big oversight. I have always turned to KFOR on my mobile devices for all my news and weather but now I'm forced to look elsewhere as the latest interface is frustrating at best. Please bring back the old app!

No current sports. I'm writing this review Jan. 29th. The latest sports update is from Jan. 14th. It's only local sports, and I know that in OK with two big XII schools, several other colleges w/ great sports, a pro basketball team, and outstanding high schools - there is a lot to cover. But if you're going to offer it in an app, update it more than 2x a month!!! The other amenities offered w/this app aren't great enough to outway the cons. News isn't latebreaking. Weather is just so-so. Don't bother taking up the space on your phone.

Not news or weather worthy. Radar is only pics. Neww never updates on the weekend and doesn't always update during the week. Finally, half of the news label "local" isn't even from the state, much less the city.

My favorite news app. I love this app! I can easily read the stories I want. I can also easily see the breaking news stories! The updates have made this app even better! I can watch live broadcast of breaking news and weather. I only use the KFOR app for news!

Stinks on iPad. I use news apps on iPad, the old app,was pretty nice, this new version is awful on an iPad.. I have my orientation locked, and this app comes up long ways.. Ugh, the screen is filled with 1 news story.. Too big... Navigation is not user friendly, and one thing a really hate is when you get an alert about a breaking story, click it, it opens the app and the story is nowhere to be found. Shame on whomever did the layout.

BAD APP - deleting it from my phone. Stories are good and usually has lots of different things and stories that other stations' apps. But it crashes constantly and locks up my phone. Used to be a nice app to read and user friendly. Can't get thru even one story anymore. Maybe too many ads??!!! Almost feels like spyware or viruses. I've decided to delete this app. Very very bad app, wouldn't recommend to anyone!

Another iJunk app. This "app" is a joke. News isn't updated on the weekends, weather section has nothing but static images that have to be 'closed out' before going to the next, crashes regularly, etc. KFOR's webpage is updated more than this thing (which isn't saying much). The sole purpose of this app is obviously for KFOR-TV/New York Times co. to sell advertisements by supplementing their web ads with a new "target" audience, and they can command a higher rate for ad sales. Sounds good and I'm sure looks good on paper but this is a poor attempt at an "iPhone App" Another data-mining app designed to collect viewer data for the TV stations market demographic. Disguised as a "news" app. Worthless-deleted.

Good App. Needs to load mobile version of news stories instead of the full webpage. Needs swipe feature between weather pictures so you don't have to hit close every time. Overall a good app and worth having. It's great to have local news and weather!

One step back. The new interface of the app that was just updated within the last month or so looks nice for the news but the weather interface took a step back. The weather is the number one reason I have this app. Now I can't find the seven day forecast like they show on TV or on there website & the radar is limited more than before.

"Continues" To Be Horrible. Guess what? If I click on an article, I DO EXPECT to read the COMPLETE story--NOT just a few lines & then be prompted to click the "Continue" button, which DOES NOT WORK!!!

Good idea, but.... Was okay until recently. Crashes constantly and also contains viruses. Has locked up my iPhone 6 several times over the last few days, so I deleted it. Hope they can work out issues with app so I can download a better, updated version. Guess I'll stick with my news 9 app for now. Never had any issues with it.

Used to use it every day. Too buggy to use now. This version has two issues: frequently pops up a ' couldn't respond to last request' error message even though it responded fine, and scrolling to see more news more often than not just repeats what was already displayed rather than adding stories. Too frustrating to use now. Most recent older version worked fine, although versions before that one had similar error message issues. Hopefully a fix will be forthcoming, then maybe they'll leave it alone long enough to use it for awhile.

Love it!. I love the new version, but I want to be able to see the 7 day forecast that is shown on the news. It doesn't have it on the new version. It also doesn't show it on the 4warn app. :(

I love this app. This app is amazing, especially when there is severe weather. I am able to use the interactive radar to track the storms every move. I'm also always kept up-to-date on all the important news. High recommend having this on your phone.

Useless. I used to love this app. It was amazing!!! Now it's a worthless piece of crap. It continually crashes while I read the news. Looking to 5 and 9 as a better form of resource. I have tried sending suggestions, but it keeps crashing. I would love to see this app work like it used to before they started with all the advertising. If I wanted an iPhone 7, I would go to the store and get one and if I wanted a crap ton Of advertising, I would watch the local evening news opposed to reading it. Get a clue channel 4, your app has become crap!!!

Not Bad, Not Perfect. Neat to see KFOR has an app out, and it's a decent first attempt, but could be improved on. PROS: Local News Coverage not found in other apps, displays pretty much all of the on-air weather graphics. CONS: Can be slow when loading News stories, thumbnails on Weather Page are not real time and can make you think it's 70 and clear when it's not, no indication when Weather Graphics are updated.

Crash issues. I use this app several times a day and I enjoy it. However, I have also experienced the crashing issues and it's very frustrating. It's happening so often that I'm not wanting to use it. I had hoped the recent update would have fixed it but I was wrong. Please correct this issue as soon as possible.

Amazing. Your the first and only app that I have ever had with the best news updates!! Plus weather and breaking news, thank you for that!!!
