Lumen Trails lets you take notes, make lists and keep track of other things in your life such as time, workouts, expenses, calories, food, weight, sleep or anything else you can think of, even where you've parked your car. Thousands of people use it every day, and they love it because it truly makes a difference in their lives.
“I've been using Lumen Trails for 6 months and continue to love it. One of my most sticky and useful apps ever on my phone.” – David D'Souza
The beauty of Lumen Trails is that you can track absolutely anything. There are tons of other apps that allow you to track one or two things, for example, calories and weight. But what if you decide to track something else? Say, how many cigarettes you smoke as you try to quit, your eating habits or even net worth? Lumen Trails is the app for that!
Instead of having one app for your to-do lists, one for tracking expenses, another one for tracking your weight, you can declutter your home screen and just have one app that does it all.
Designed exclusively for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, Lumen Trails is incredibly powerful, easy to use, and looks beautiful on the Retina Display. It can even backup your data automatically to Google Drive, sync with iCloud, and is fully accessible with Apple VoiceOver in 8 languages. There's nothing that comes even close to it. And to top it all, your data is not locked on your iPhone. You can export it to Excel or Google Docs.
So what's truly important to you right now? Your Health? Fitness? Finances? Productivity?
Track it and get things done!
:: Note to iPhone 7 & 7 Plus users
Now you can ask Siri to find information for you and dictate right into Lumen Trails. For example, hold down the Home button and ask Siri: “How many calories are in a chicken sandwich?”. To start dictation, tap the microphone button on your keyboard and just start talking.

The applications Daily Tracker: Journal & Diary was published in the category Productivity on 2009-02-28 and was developed by Lumen Spark LLC. The file size is 34.04 MB. The current version is 11.0.6 and works well on 9.0 and high ios versions.
We've updated Lumen Trails to run on new iOS 11, iPhone X and iPad Pro (with split screen support).
I decided to cancel my membership before the trial period expired but have not received my refund. I am sure this app works for some ppl but I have changed my mind. I would of rated it with more stars but I have yet to receive my refund. Plz help!
Great app. My doctor told me to keep a two week food diary. I couldn’t find a suitable one in App Store so I bought this app and created my own. VERY easy to use. I wish I could give it six stars.
There should be a warning that NO use is allowed until signing up for an Account and “free” trial of 30 days. Honestly, I feel tricked and hope this app can be deleted, not just hidden using space and adding clutter. This could be the best thing ever, I dont know, Too concerned about what else might be hidden. Unfortunate, because it looks like it has the tools Ive been searching for, and need right now.
I never write reviews, but I love this app so much I had to. It can morph into whatever you need it to be. So far, I’m using it as a journal, to track my food intake, and to send me reminders. And I’m barely scratching the surface of what it will do. I’ve only been using it a few days, and I look forward to discovering more uses.
This app fills the need to track all of my exercise activities easily; lap swimming, golf, walking, and cycling. I use it asa motivator to keep working on my MOOC studies!
It provides tools to rack almost everything. I would love to be able to choose monthly tracking in the categories.
I track 10 or 12 parts of my budget separately. Subtracting from a monthly $ amount for things like groceries or adding throughout the year for taxes; also vehicle savings/repairs, medical, vacations, everything. If I forget to add or subtract something, when I make the correction the app now adjusts the running total. Highly recommended.
This is a great app as it contains all of the items I have been tracking separately in one place. I fall behind some days as I do not have the time to go to the various other apps I have been using to do all of my desired tracking.
After using for several months and adjusting tracker how I need it, I’ve given this app 4 stars. The developer is always updating and very quick with a reply to any questions or comments. Usually within hours. Also, the yearly $10 subscription price is less than 3 cents a day. It’s worth it
Purchased this app 7 years ago and it was great. Haven’t had a project that required it for a few years but recently found a use for it again only to find... SUBSCRIPTION MODEL. $15/yr for something that worked fine previously. Nope. Bye.
This app does what it says. I can organise most everything I need to keep track of, sleep, exercise, shower, wash the sheets etc. Customer support is good. With life becoming so complicated this app helps to sort out what's important. I am becoming very forgetful and know that this app will store any details I need to remember.
Am using it to write a diary about my appointments at an Expo and to add to-do’s. It is very user-friendly. I am using the speech to text a lot. I like the flexibility of it. It is easy to edit entries and to add text or images, either from the library or by taking new photos. I also like that is independent from using data. Therefore it is particularly suitable if you do not intend to synchronise the entries with any other devices. It draws on the library as much as the images that you take on the spot. So to synchronise it constantly would mean a lot of data going forth and back. It is possible to share a selected content and that should be sufficient for most people. It would be great to add the possibility to use the SwiftKey keyboard that I am normally using for other apps. Although my keyboard setting is set to SwiftKey it is not coming up in this app. The other small thing is that if you want to see a close-up of any added image, the app asks you subsequently again to select the image, to keep everything regarding this entry, and to click ‘done’ - that’s three clicks, one click would be plenty for this situation. All we would need are the options to delete or keep the image after having checked the close-up view. In most cases, the blown-up image would not be used for editing purposes but just to see the details when looking at a past entry. All in all I enjoy this very much, thank you. I have subscribed to it.
Amazing app thank you
My previous review was very critical of the developer and the decision to introduce ads and paid subscription without taking into account previous customers who had already paid for the app - especially since there was no real improvement in the function the app. Today, I received an email telling me that the developer has allowed the ability to "restore" previous purchases. So, this is a very grateful acknowledgment to the developer for doing that. I believe the app is free to try, if you can put up with ads, and I would encourage you to give it a go. It really is a great app. Good developers should be rewarded for their hard work, but they shouldn't forget their previous customers.
dont purchase this app, they are just after your money. Even after I deleted it they still continued to take money out of my account.
I bought this app prior to the automatic introduction of a subscription model which introduced ads. Very poorly handled by the developer. You could have introduced a new subscription based app that receives updates and left the old one I bought alone (like ynab classic). It's like buying a pair of shoes, then years later being told I need to pay a monthly fee to use them. Let me wear out my old shoes first, then I'll come and rent a new pair from you when I realise you only rent shoes now, and I need a new pair. You can't change the terms after the purchase and expect people to be happy. I understand everyone wants the security of subscription pay now, but this was a terrible way to introduce it. -----previous review----- Best app I've been able to find to track my music practice data on different instruments. I use both iPad and iPhone and the data syncing between the two is awesome. I can start tracking on one device and stop on another and the data is good! Graphs and statistics are neat too.
I now have to pay a monthly fee to get rid of the adds that came at last update? This should not be allowed!
It used to have the functionality of multiple notes entry for any given day. After the most recent update, that function somehow has gone which means you can only have one single note entry for each and every day. Well, in an 'imperfect' but realistic world, I assume that I am not the only one who would have more than one thing/note for some of the days in my life? Please bring that functionality BACK!
Until the Oct 2016 update this app had a 4.5-star average, now it has a 1-star average. Why? They've introduced ads, which can only be removed by paying subscription fees, and which are pushed even to users who have already paid for the app! Not cool, Lumen. Not cool. I'm happy to pay once for updates/upgrades to features; I will even pay (once) to remove ads. But in my book subscriptions are for continuing *services*, not the removal of unwanted ads or the thin promise of future development. ==previous review, 5 stars== This beautifully designed app can be turned to pretty much any purpose you wish. Forget the myriad of specialist tracking apps for habits, virtues, food, exercise, sleep, mood, music practice, ballet training, meditation, you name it… It can all be consolidated (and customised) in this one app. Add the notes and other supporting functions and you're set. Very well made and most enjoyable to use.
Able to secure for personal tracking. Daily use for journaling, planning and tracking.
This has almost all the features I want in an app.
Love this app! I save everything on my phone here easily and in a totally logical, organized fashion. I can usually go right to whatever I need. And if I can't it has a powerful search function that gets the job done.
Would have given a five star if there were a desktop version
No subscriptions ever? Really? Phone calls and data? Internet service? Cable or Satellite? Music or movie streaming? Magazines, books, or newspapers? You ever been a member of anything like a church or a club or organization or a school that you contributed to in some capacity? Never? Wow!
TLDR: This single app surpasses the capability of many others combined. Is continually refined and improved by a very responsive and committed developer. Longer review: Lumen trails is an indespensible part of my daily routine. Almost anything that can be quantified can be tracked. The developer is very responsive to questions with speedy personal replies. A number of apps I "thought" were critical have been completely replaced by this. Why have several when you can have one that does more, and does it better? If you're stumped how to track something important, there is an ever increasing library of templates for help. Or share one of your own. But here's the important take away from this review: Stop reading. Buy this app. Use this app. Get control of your life. If you're curious enough to check the reviews, get this app. Start using it for one thing and you will discover so much more in your life that can be easily quantified and improved. For me, this app has paid for itself many times over. If you're on the fence, get it.
This app has SO much to offer... Makes it very easy to organize simple notes, do daily planning, make and keep to-do lists, checklists, take and add photos directly to entries, AND conveniently share your lists and items with others. I've never yet found nor USED (every day for so many different things) ANY app as much as I've used this one. I've been using it for over a year now. Your data can be backed up; I rely on that for knowing that what I'm doing WILL be there whenever I need it. I'm hoping that the developer will improve the "move" and "copy" features so that the available destinations are arranged in a tree or list/sublist fashion. Until then, this feature can be a bit difficult because the destinations aren't shown relative to their locations within other lists. However, having said that, I still find the feature quite useful! Thank you! And I send much appreciation and admiration to the developer for being attentive, responsive, professional, and caring. You've honored your customers' purchases. Thank you very much! If you're looking for a most reliable electronic option to function as a notepad, a notebook, a diary, a journal, a scrapbook, a planner and organizer, I encourage you to purchase and support this very accomplished and well-maintained option and this conscientious developer. Take it from a meticulous, honest, and fairly critical individual with over 14 months of experience with this fantastic, VALUABLE app!
Just downloaded and deleting immediately. From the reviews it sounds like exactly what I want, if I had found it awhile ago before a subscription was required. I don't pay subscriptions, ever. If I could try it for free with ads, I would consider paying a one time fee, but subscriptions are complete rip offs.
This is a great application to note random things like exercise, weight, journal - all in one place. It's flexible, so you can use it to suit your needs. I've tried several different apps to track specific things but come back to daily tracker because of its simplicity. The monthly, annual views are so helpful.
Awesome app. I have used it daily for years.
