Adequate no frills functionality. Look it up, see a list. Only complaint is the last word in the list is blocked by the advertisement.

Great for classroom. My students use it all of the time to avoid repetitive words in their writing.

I give it. B-. This app has proven to be very useful...about 85% of the time. I get frustrated when it doesn't recognize (what I consider to be) fairly common words, or when a word is found but the list of synonyms becomes painfully cyclical. It could be more thorough, but I won't talk smack because it is still useful a good portion of the time. B-

Blank screen. It doesn't work.

Serves it purpose. I use it here and there when I'm writing...usually comes in handy. Not as good as the paperback I used in high school and college but hopefully as time goes on more features will be added in future upgrades.....

Awesome Quick Reference Tool. As a writer, this app is exactly what I need at my fingertips to double-check the validity of the words I use.

No probs. For those of u toiling with dismay, I found that pressing the search rather than the enter key proved successful. I would have liked a larger choice of synonyms but then recalled this version is free.

Bad. It does not work!!!

Definitions. "1. a word having the same or nearly the same meaning as another in the language, as joyful, elated, glad." Get it?

Suggestion. How about a preloaded database like the app Dictionare where words are stored and can be used without Internet. For on-the-go usage?? And an AUTO suggest feature for words?then make the database get updated each time you have Internet? Do this and get your 5 stars 

Love !!!. Extremely easy to use. You will find yourself reaching for this app more often than you thought. I highly recommend.

Needs updating!. It works great, when it works.. I just downloaded this app and it keep crashing! When I have been able to get results it works great. That's WHEN it works.. Needs updating to work with current iOS...

Word Play !?. This as an adorable, cute, delightful, interesting app and I found all those words, and thousands more,inside the app itself. What better to own something that constantly admires and commands itself for free!

No definition found.. Perhaps I downloaded a flawed copy. I don't mind adWare, however I'd rather pay a few dollars for a dictionary / thesaurus that actually has definitions/ and more than a few alternate synonyms. Ouch, this is the first time I've every dwnl an app this bad. I guess it's true that you get what you pay for - if your lucky. Guess I'll steer clear of AdWare in the future since it has become a money making tool for those who copy and paste instead of actual programming effort. Maybe Apple should step in, but who's getting hurt, I only lost some time, and respect for the apple store.

Functionality…No Go. When first download it quite a few years ago it met my needs and worked efficiently. No it will not complete a search. Don’t waste your time.

Useful...nice. Actually very convenient app. Wonder if somehow they could incorporate it into texting, like right there within te text messaging. Still a very solid app tho.

Awful. Put in a word and it doesn't do anything most of the time.

Trick?. I found it a heck to open it, only find the front page with all blue in full screen! Does not work

OMG! Do NOT download this farce app!. I can’t even imagine the level of stupidity someone must have to even jokingly call this app a “thesaurus”! No synonyms, no antonyms and even incorrect definitions! And get this!! I typed the word ‘thesaurus’ into the search query box and it couldn’t even find a match, not even a definition for the word! LOL! That might actually account for why it is labeled in the App Store as a thesaurus - it has no idea what one is! Seriously though, don’t waste you time and patience on downloading this app. a

very good. wish it had yet more words...and wish I could change a letter rather than have to retype a whole word...but still very, very useful...easy to read...

A bit too slow. A bit too slow and only allows you to search 1 level deep (you can't tap a result and search the thesaurus for that word--instead you get the word's definition).

Bible study. Easy to use offers avariety if words only some extra words have no definition available but it does give you something to work into a sentence

App crashes as it's loading.... It used to work great but now it won't even open. Thought it was just me but it seems like everyone else is having the same issue. Deleting & downloading a diff app now :(

Kingskid. I don't know what happened to this app. I've reported the app crashing immediately & not opening at all. It WAS one of my favorite apps. I've deleted it & downloaded it probably 3 times in at least as many months with hopes that the app would be fixed. Whatzup with that. It used to work so well! Even the 'fix' didn't help the problem. Here I am, many months later...having deleted iThesaurus yet again...hoping that it got fixed...NOPE! It crashed immediately upon opening even now. WHY would I consider paying for this app if the free one crashed & is picky about other apps it shared the same phone with? I've held off hoping that this app would be fixed by now... I'll go onto another app & hope that it's not as fickle!!

Easy & Useful. This handy thesaurus I easy to use & has helped me find just the right word numerous times. I live the iPhone app's accessibility.

There when I need it.. The only thing I wish was better, would be a more diverse selection of synonyms.

Tech. I use this app in both my personal and professional life. It's saved me huge embarrassment in both arenas. I love it's easy use and suggestivity! Lol!

Handy dandy tool. This app is definitely handy and informative. It helps with spelling, definitions, synonyms, and antonyms. I use it when writing my college essays and it's better than having to constantly pull out my paperback thesaurus. I have an old school websters dictionary as well and the only negative would be that the app doesn't have as many words as my websters dic.

👌. I think this is a really good app for giving you the right synonyms but it unfortunately does not give you the definitions for the synonyms but overall good app

Nice app. Really nice clean app. Not as many features as some of the others but it is from a individual developer and not some large company.

Great App. It searches for synonyms obviously, but it mentioned in the description that it displays antonyms too but it doesn't. Does anyone else have that problem?

Thesaurus. Thesaurus is very easy to use and offers a simple method for determining definitions on many words. I use it often.

Really?. It's outdated for one. It looks like iOS 5. Most importantly though, every time I hit the search button, it closes the app. I am very disappointed and this is coming from a 12 year old. If you are reading this, take my advice and don't get this app. Obviously I'm serious because I'm taking time to write this when I have a 12% battery, and I have things to do.

Awesome. While this app may not be the neatest or sharpest looking app, it gets the job done. I rated it five stars because even if I don't get exactly what I'm looking for, it helps spur ideas. Without this app, my language homework would be a lot more challenging. You should definitely get this app if you don't want to waste useless time wondering what the synonym for supercilious is.

SUCKED!. I couldn't even open it, it was horrible! It would open and then show the picture of the book and glasses and then turned off! Don't get this. And I would give it a star but u have to give it at least a one.

Works 70(ish)% of the time... Fails to load and sometimes gives only one synonym when there are dozens. Wouldn't recommend using as a writing tool.

Not a fan. I am not a fan of this app. The words it comes up with do not all make sense. It feels as if the creators of this app are just coming up with listed words to come up with them when many words are not even relevant.

Great App!!. I use it when completing papers for my graduate classes. Definitely gives u more than the computer does and the selection of choices are GREAT!! Really helps me out!!

Decent. It's okay app, it does not have great synonyms but it works pretty well. It is a lot better than the other thesauruses. it is even a decent dictionary if you know how to use it correctly.

Garmin Street Pilot. This was the perfect solution for our son. Not too expensive and because we just mounted his iPhone in his car for xm radio it fit perfectly. We know the Garmin name so there was no hesitation. We feel safer now that he has this app.

It's great!. This app is a must have for anyone who does a lot of writing. Also included in the results are antonyms and related words so be sure to look to the left of the results to be sure something is a synonym or not. Highly recommend.

Bad. Doesn't let me search stays loading

Crappy. Such a bad app....the synonyms have nothing to do with the word you've searched up

Totally Useless. Does not work at all, nothing comes up in theasaurus section, and then it crashes, waste of time downloading. Don't bother with it! (not even worth 1 star but no option for no star)

Unsure. Not sure why it won't bring up search results, needed it for essay writing. Going to uninstall the app.

Useless app - don't waste your time with it.. Useless - app doesn't work. Searching brings up no thesaurus results and the dictionary result can't be clicked. I even searched the word used in their example on the app store and it gave me no options. The app also crashes and shuts down after only a few seconds. Complete waste of space, deleting it and finding a new one.

Doesn’t work. Downloaded this and uninstalled it minutes later. I entered a word and hit the search button and nothing happened. Closed the program and restarted. Tried searching again and all that appears is a little loading circle. Waste of time.

Stupid Apps.. Downloaded it. Searched a simple word. Nothing came up. With 30s - deleted.

Plz fix. This would be a great app if it worked. It doesn't show any results. I tried testing it with a simple word such as 'And' which should have plenty of results but nothing. It also shuts off ALOT

Pretty bad.. I can't even open up the dumb app. That, with reported ad support, and the fact that you need Internet connection males for a pretty bad app. Not worth your time.

Translation. "Fast user interface" must be fancy for "you need to be at home or work to use this stupid iPod because without an internet connection you're doomed to an indescriptive life!!!!"

Stops music. Music is a big part of my life. I opened the app, my music stopped, I deleted the app. Not worth it.

iThesaurus. Pretty lame. Not what I expected at all. A Thesaurus gives you words that are synonyms. I don't need the definition of the word. I don't need combinations of words that mean the same. A list ofOne word synonyms. That's what a thesaurus is not this. Oh and to "Gods Girl"🙏 it may be great use for your kindergarten class. Less work for you huh.

It's helpful.. I write stories so it helps to not use the same word fifty-thousand-bajillian times. I don't have so many "he said-she saids"either. ( ^_•)v*

Ithesaurus. Helps with some of 7 Little Words. Not bad.

Waste of money.. I'm an editor and frequently need to replace commonly misused words. This app cannot give me words to replace have of the words I enter ... and they're common! For example, enter the word said into Merriam Webster and you will get approximately 50 varying words. Enter it into this app and you get two, such as aforementioned.

Laaaame. The dictionary app that I have is not only better, but doesn't require a signal/Internet connection which is ideal as I frequently take underground public transport. Also, runs much too slowly.

Not found. There're words I look up and it's not found. The Webster dictionary has almost every word. Other than that it's good.
