iPhone X. I am using an iPhone X running iOS 11.4 and the conversation scrolling cuts the last line of everything off at the bottom.

Highly recommended for IRC users. One of the best desktop IRC applications written for the iPhone? Yes please! Bought this little gem last night and have used it several times now. Everything so far works perfectly. It's easy to set up connections, and it has many of the advanced options found in the desktop client. It's really like using Colloquy on the Mac. The application even uses landscape mode, but don't expect to see more than one to two messages at a time while viewing in this way. I have no problems using the portrait keyboard, so I usually stick with this. My only gripe with this app is that there is currently no option to turn emoticons off (I am one of those people who would rather just see the textual smileys) but this is most definitely not enough to take a star away. 5 stars; definitely buy this if you are an IRC user.

Still issues.. Update: Wish user names were different colors. IRCcloud is my first choice for an IRC client.

Yes, iOS 13 broke it. I’ve been using this client for many years and it worked perfectly! Up until iPadOS 13. It no longer scrolls automatically to show new messages when the screen is full. Also (and I think this is more of an issue with iPadOS, but I’m still going to mention it just in case), when using Colloquy in split screen/multitasking (chat on the right, Safari on the left), I can’t browse/scroll Safari on the left-hand side and keep the cursor “live” in the chat on the right-hand side. I have to tap on the chat side to be able to type anything again. I used to be able to type whenever I wanted with my connected keyboard while still scrolling the internet with my finger on the left. Just very inconvenient all around now, which has pushed me to stop using this app on my iPad. I have to pull out my laptop and use the program on there, which is annoying. I’m still giving this 3 stars because it’s served me well for so many years. But I wanted to write this review to let the developers know that some features aren’t working any longer and to hopefully get an update!

Wow. This is the best irc client out there. It is easy to set up and it never crashes. I also like the inclusion of the option to auto complete typing in users names. Makes long names a synch to type in now! And, I like the amount of features just right. I only wish one thing: the ability to switch chat skins while running the app, and to allow for different skins for different chats. On the desktop version I use different skins to tell me who I am talking with.

Mobile Colloquy back in action!!. To me, buying this was a no brainer. I used to use the old jailbroken version "MColloquy" back in 2007 & it made me smile to see an "official" SDK version being made. I had been following the development since the summer & building the source version for myself (yay for being an iPhone Dev) but, spending the $2 on this was the easiest decision I've had to make. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars! Congrats on a great release Colloquy Project Team!

Buggy. Problems listed below are still present on the latest release. They must not care about the iPad I guess... Used to be a great app. Lots of crashes even on version 1.8.5 Screen on chat keeps getting narrower...sigh... App crashes unexpectedly ... It can reconnect but is annoying...

It IRCs. I got this app for my iPad several months ago because I use IRC a lot and have had a reasonably good experience with the computer version of Colloquy. I continue to use both versions - they work well enough that I don't need something else, but the mobile version has a few issues. 1. Intermittently it will freak out, especially if I am doing a lot of tabbing between apps, to where the "who's here" list freezes, even when people join and part the channel. Recently I have not had that issue because Colloquy has crashed as soon as someone joins or parts while it is in freak out mode. 2. Text color support is one-way. I can see colorful messages, but I am unable to add color to my messages. 3. As another review mentioned, the timestamp has no option to display to-the-second accuracy. It also does not update on channel info like joins, parts, promotions and demotions. This is only noticeable on channels that are quiet for a few minutes, though. Mostly good, but a few (minor) issues.

Better than free apps but not the best. I have both this app and Bjorn Teichmann's Rooms installed. Both have bugs and are works in progress, but so far I haven't encountered a bug in Rooms that crashes it, much less allows anyone who is feeling malivious to crash it. Rooms is easier to configure and has a much nicer interface to work with, especially if you want to easily switch between many channels on many networks. Despite a handful of flaws, I would recommend Rooms over Colloquy. And I would recommend either over the free apps.

Inept developers ruined autocorrect. This version destroyed autocorrect. It is completely bungled, and the devs refuse to admit it - on Twitter, people called them out on it, and they claim it is just the normal iOS autocomplete in effect. Wrong. Wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong wrong. This thing will change your words AFTER you hit send. Given the way the devs are reacting, I wouldn't trust them with my money again. Really wish I could just get a refund. Definitely look for another IRC app; this title isn't worth your time or inevitable frustration.

Great update, solid IRC client. It's not a complete change but the client will log me out in 5 minutes instead of 3 now, that being the biggest issue with IRC on every iOS app. Still hoping for an update that lets it stay on continuously in the background like Skype and such do. Pref panel isn't showing up from the icon, but is available in the general system settings as its own icon near the bottom. It's annoying but still useable.

Slowest IRC client I've ever used. The app seems like a wonderful idea… Until you try to use it to connect to a chat room. Worked very well on older versions of iOS. The developers really need to do some work to keep it current. Sometimes, it takes me up to an hour to connect to a chat room… Where as with any other client, or via the web, I connect instantly.

Despite wonky configuration problems, Colloquy really shines. I really love the UI for Colloquy, even though the desktop client bugs me. Most of the themes are extremely beautiful, and it includes many of the features that are essential for an IRC client. After I ran into some bugs initially configuring the autojoined rooms (it began acted very strange), everything has began to act very smoothly and works wonderfully. It was worth every penny.

Waste of almost 2 dollars. I can't see what I'm typing as I type it...

Disastrous update. Update: As others have observed the iOS 9 version hides the text entry screen field and bottom five lines of room text on the iPhone 6. I just don't get how such a bad bug gets past testing. UPDATE: They were getting better the last few updates, but the 1/15 update crashes when I try connecting to the IRC server. This happens on my iPhone 6 Plus and my iPad Mini, and I see it does on a 5S another user posted. Does anyone do quality tests before they update this app?? The 12/21 update still hasn't fixed things. When using it with the virtual keyboard on my iPad Mini, black bars appear over the last thing said in the room or PM, making me minimize and then maximize the screen to get rid of them. Also, sometimes I am not presented with a text entry window in one orientation, and I have to rotate to another to get that text entry window. It would be nice if it was consistent, but some windows force me to landscape to get the text entry, but in the same session another will force me to portrait, making me feel like I am driving an obstacle course, not chatting. Egads. Previous entry: This was a great product til the latest update, now it is chock full of bugs that make it near unusable. The text entry fields don't appear unless you rotate the thing back and forth, on the phone in portrait to click on a room and nothing happens, etc. please fix it!

This version is miserable. I am using colloquy since 2015 I dont recommendd this app atm since it has many bugs. It has only one thing which is very nice It supports fallback encoding too Please fix it and change the interface

Awesome. I have four IRC clients. Flowchat, Limechat, Rooms and now Colloquy, and I just love colloquy. Flowchat would be great if it didn’t crash and have all the bugs and if it EVER updated its app. For all those who will say "restart your ipod," I did morons, I already spoke with the developers and they said it was their fault, yet they still havent updated their app. Anyways, I can not stop raving about Colloquy, it simply is the BEST IRC app out there at the moment. Flowchat may come close in a second, but right now, your best bet is Colloquy. Colloquy has a simple user interface, yet packs a lot of punch in its features. With the developers updating it often enough, Colloquy is the IRC app that everyone should have. Take it from me... I already have 3 other ones that will be trashed when I am finished with this review. Thanks Colloquy!

Good, Feature Request --> Dump all chat to one window.. I find this application pretty good. A few things would be nice for an IRC specific application. It would be nice to have the keyboard have the / character on the main keyboard. Often times when entering an e-mail address, the main keyboard will have the @ key in the lower right so I don't have to 'dig' to get it. It would also be nice to have a mode where it dumps all colloquy into a single box.. so I can keep up to date on all of the channels that i'm in at once. If I want to do a message, i could enter the /msg #channel syntax or click the channel that I want to send to in the prefix of the message that I see in the window with prefixes enabled.

Standard IRC client, few frills, lots of bugs. Not a bad IRC client as such things go. It seems hard to find a food one. Colloquy is fair, better than most, which doesn't say much. On the iPad, it has an annoying bug that hides the text chat pan beneath the keyboard until you minimize the keyboard and then reopen it, which is frustrating when you switch between chat sessions a lot. At least it is iOS 4 multitasking aware, and as far as the IRC protocol, it is a solid client.

The Best IRC Client for Mac is now the Best for iPhone. I've used and love Colloquy on my Mac, and have looked around for IRC clients for my iPhone. Most did the job as advertised, but not very well. Then I saw Mobile Colloquy was introduced. This client is by far the best implementation of an IRC client possible on the iPhone, in my opinion. Very easy to use ad keep up with conversations, and utilizes the screen format really well. This is very much worth the price!

Awesome IRC client. Excellent app - looks nice, and does what it should, without a lot of fuss. Major bugs from a recent update have been fixed, which is greatly appreciated. To make the most of it, you need to use it with a "bouncer" such as ZNC or the desktop Colloquy for Mac. You can stay connected to IRC all the time, and hop on from multiple clients at any point to see what's been going on. The Apple-imposed 10-minute timeout becomes a non-issue.

Excellent, but needs logging. Works as well as the Mac desktop version, but with one drawback: Eventually, old messages are lost as new ones arrive, and there is no option for logging, as far as I can tell. Developer, I'm NOT witholding stars in a vain attempt to coerce you to add features, but, logging would certainly be welcome, even if it is plain text only.

Awesome!!. This is the greatest irc app. The syncing with the Mac app is flawless. And I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about with support. Just go to their irc channel (#colloquy on freenode). Every time I've gone there they've been very friendly and helpful. My only request is to allow notifications on all activity on a specific channel, rather than just by specific words (like with the desktop app). Otherwise it's a little hard to use this to follow my IRC channel.

Unbelievably slow to fix major errors. I really can't believe that almost 2 months has passed since the last update which completely broke the functionality on my iPad 3. The screen sizing must have been updated for the iPhone 5, but broke it for the IPad. You cannot access the room user list as it is off the right edge of the screen. Not even an ability to scroll or resize. Even worse, if you invoke the /names command to get a user list, that list is a pop-up with just the leading edge visible on the right hand side of the screen. Very poor QC before release which makes the app completely unusable. Probably works well on the iPhone 5, but complete crap on any other iOS devise. Avoid this app until it is fixed. Even then beware that bug fix cycles are stupidly long!

MUST GET!!!!!. this is the best irc client for the iphone and if youre an advance irc user it makes the experience better and it does everything that a decent desktop irc client can do!!! all the ratings that are low are from inexperienced irc users that dont know anything what so ever although its soooooo easy to use! great app. hope there are updates to make it even better!!!!

Best IRC Chat I've used, even with it's flaws. Runs more efficiently than LimeChat (meaning my phone doesn't heat up from using it and drain the battery faster), gives you notifications when you're about to lose the connection instead of just disconnecting you, and I like the interface. The main issue is that the option to turn off screen lock isn't on by default. You have to look for it in the options and turn it on. This helps to prevent the iOS from disconnecting you from chat. It's was also a bit of a problem for me to find the "Time Stamp" option so I can see when someone left a message. It's in there, you just have to search a bit. The disconnecting issue is an iOS issue with apps that require a constant connection as opposed to an intermittent one. It isn't an issue with the app. The creator tried to compensate for it as much as they could.

Inappropriate content. Certain channels should be monitored and blocked.

Ios13 broke it. As of ios13 for some reason the chats don’t scroll. No longer functional and very annoying. Please update it I have uninstalled and reinstalled it to no avail.

It's to complicated.. To difficult to figure it out. Had it work one time and after that found some commands that I didn't know how they were suppose to be used. The next time I tried connecting, I couldn't update my chat room list. You need to be a computer geek Out how this IRC app works. Colloquy website was just as helpless to use. Needs a straight forward tutorial either video or a tabble of content structured right in the app itself or a link in the app that takes you there. Using this app makes me think the programer, who created it, has A.D.D. Do you really need a Mac computer? If so, then It's useless to me. Sincerely, Frustrated!!!

Great, but.... Works really well. The one thing keeping it from being perfect for me is that I can't receive XDCC transfers using a bounce server. I would like to be able to have files get forwarded to the iPad where they could be opened by other apps. Right now it just does nothing, doesn't even alert you to the pending transfer. File handling works well on iPad, and its disappointing that this app doesn't take advantage of it.

Bouncer for Windows unusable. First off, I really do like this app. It works as advertised, and is worth the money. Except. When I went looking for the "bouncer" to push irc messages to me when Colloquy isn't running on the iPhone, I found a kludgy, confusing, hacked-together mess that the developers of this slick app shouldn't touch with a 10-foot pole. A transparent, usable push feature like that on BeejiveIM would make this a 6-star app, well worth much more than I paid for it, as it is, it stays at 4 stars.

SInce the latest upgrade, no longer able to see channel users. While this software still works mostly as an IRC client, it is more or less broken. Until the authors fix this issue, it's not worth buying. The images on the download area in iTunes show that there is a button you can click showing people in the channel. Since I upgrade to IOS6 and since the latest Colloquy update, the top bar where this button sits doesn't calculate its length correctly and pushes this button off of the screen. So, you can no longer see the button. Do not consider buying this version until the authors update and fix these issues. Version as of Nov 3, 2012. Giving it two stars because while it is broken in some features, it still works an an IRC client, but you might want to buy one that doesn't have features which are supposed to work that are broken.

Used to be great, needs update. Crashes on launch on iOS 14. Please fix

Excellent. A bit tricky at first

doesnt seem to work. Cant connect to any irc servers. Used to work in previous versions. Not sure if it has anything to do with ipv6 or latest version of iOS.

Doesn’t work on iPhone X. I don’t know if it’s an iOS 11 issue or an iPhone X issue, but this app hangs as soon as I start it. Unable to adjust any settings or click on any button. Have to kill the app to exit. Used the apps for years with znc and it worked great. Not sure why it is so bad now.

Not working.. I'm not sure if it's the app or not, but I got this to try and run Pesterchum with a guide from Tumblr, but it won't even let me send messages. Sadly, no other apps will work either.

STILL not fixed, old bugs brought back!. UPDATE: instead of fixing the problems below, they've added back the "text hidden behind text entry field" bug, plus the supposedly-fixed 'offline' bug is simply not fixed at all. Yet another update that made everything worse not better. If they could somehow simply re-release 1.8.5, that would help. Everything since has been progressively worse. And the "help" website doesn't appear to be staffed. UPDATE: New version, new bugs. Does anyone test this app before releasing it? Cannot send pm's, only receive them - it thinks everyone is 'offline' even when they're not. Unreal. My fault for updating, this app has a history of updates that do more harm than good, hopefully this new bug will be addressed eventually, but I'm starting to wonder. Developer seems disinterested. ... After nearly a year of aggravation and multiple bug fixes they do seem to have it fixed at last with 1.8.5, at least as far as the issues I've seen. It's back to where it was two years ago, and that's a good thing. Best IRC app I've tried. Now ... I'm begging you ... please please please test future updates before you release them?

Works wonderfully. This app works great on both my iMac and iPod touch. I have my iMac connected to an IRC network all the time, and the ability to use the bouncer feature on my iPod from anywhere I can get on the net is great. It lets me get around the iPod's inability to keep the program open while on Safari, by using my iMac's transcript to fill me in on what I've missed, and saves me from having to maintain two independent connections to any given channel. The only beef I have is with the lack of an iPad-native version, since the iPhone's keyboard is a bit chunky at 1024x768. With any luck, we'll see an iPad version here soon!

Full of bugs. This mobile version of Colloquy is very different from the desktop version. This mobile version is barely usable. Below is a list of bugs I frequently encounter each time I use it. • Display bug where console window bar will be drawn as a duplicate channel window bar. Clicking on a bar to reopen and return seems to force it to redraw properly • Display bug where duplicate user names are listed in channel • Bug that prevents private messaging a user in channel - app believes user is offline when they are clearly online. • Bug that prevents a whois on a user that has joined a channel if selected from chat window - app believes user is offline, however console displays whois info just fine. Workaround is to select user from user listing instead of chat window. • Bug that draws first two or three lines in a private conversation above visible space. Must swipe pull down private chat window to read. Even the preview next to user name bar does not properly display the text hidden above • Random bug where message and channel bars become locked and are unselectable. A workaround is to “open a console” to unlock this condition, this works even if console window is already open At its current state, I cannot recommend this app - save your money. There are likely other IRC apps that work better than this.

Colloquy + ZNC (for push) is GREAT!. I'm a longtime Colloquy user on Mac, but only recently have tried it on iOS. The thing that TRULY makes this usable though is ZNC integration, which enables me to stay online in my channels and get push notifications. I'm quite pleased with the combination, though for some this might prove a little challenging to set up on their own. One thing I'm noticing, with some regularity, now that I have more networks and channels set up in ZNC, is that this client easily crashes if there are several buffers to scroll back. It seems to occur more frequently when additional chats open in the process -- such as when ZNC has reconnected and bots reply during login. If crashing wasn't such a problem I could easily go five stars on the rating. And now I've learned of some competition. Palaver. It's missing some of Colloquy's bells and whistles. But it has two things that caused me to switch for now: (1) it doesn't crash. (2) it's developers are proactive and responsive with new builds.

Really well-written app. I've been using colloquy on my Mac for a while now (although recently I've been using irssi more and more because I can use it with screen, but that's another story.) This app is obviously designed with the iPod/iPhone UI in mind, and the bouncer feature makes it extra super nice. It's the first app I've bought for the touch, and it was definitely worth the $2 I spent. Highly recommended.

Great IRC Client!. I have never left a review, but I felt the need to leave one for Colloquy... because I LOVE IT. This app is GREAT for any typical IRC client user. I have read many negetive reviews about Colloquy, and these people MUST not be familiar with IRC clients, or how to set them up. I recommend this app for any experienced IRC user. I don't recommend this app for those that are not familiar with IRC. This Colloqy app exceeded my expectations for an iPhone IRC client. I highly recommend this app!

Used to be the best. Now.... Get Palaver instead. I've had Collloquy for a few years now, and it has sadly gone downhill. At the moment, it thinks random people who have signed off are still in the channel list, has duplicates when they sign off and come back, can't tell if someone is online or offline in a /Whois and even refuses to send /msg or /query messages to people who are clearly online and messaging YOU. Just avoid it now, folks. Get anything else. I went with Palaver, but something else might work for you. At least Palaver seems to be semi-regularly updated and it WORKS fairly consistently.

Great, would like an update.. This is a really woderful application that allows you to connect to many IRC Servers and Channels. Be aware that if you are not familiar with IRC, there will be a bit of a learning curve. I would like to see an update sometime. Of course, the push notifications are coming. That will be a great addition. I just am hoping that it will have many settings for what you want to be notified about. Also, I would like the option to turn off the emoticons. Other than a few minor issues, this app is well worth the two bucks I paid for it. Highly recommended for any IRC user. Do NOT get another IRC app. This is currently the best.

Works, but buggy.. This app works well for quickly connecting to an IRC channel, but staying connected is where things kinda fall apart. Without a BNC or Bouncer (via the colloquy Mac app) you will be disconnected from your IRC 3 minutes after you close the app, regardless of the timeout chosen in settings (Multitask timeout). Using Colloquy for Mac with the bouncer service I can stay connected, but push notifications don't work reliably. The app has other features that just don't work; autocorrect, autocapitalization, and auto-scrolling with new messages. There are provisions to report bugs on the colloquy website, but tickets are routinely closed with a very limited explanation. The auto-scroll bug was closed stating it has been "resolved" in the latest unreleased beta version... Unavailable to users at present. If you need a reliable always connected IRC client I'd suggest Limechat with a BNC. For quick one time connections Colloquy is pretty average and will get the job done. I'll update this review when the next update is released, until that time I'd stay clear of Colloquy for iOS.

Happy Switcher from LimeChat. I switched from LimeChat because of the better user interface in Colloquy, especially when it comes to editing my chat text from a Bluetooth keyboard. The only thing I wish Colloquy had was tab-completion of nicknames when using a Bluetooth keyboard. If the feature exists, I haven't been able to figure out how to turn it on. :| Still, you can tap on the suggested name to get nick completion, which is better than nothing.

Fixed. The private messages have been fixed 👍 however now unable to use the add channel button

Great irc app. I've tried limechat, rooms and colloquy. Colloquy is the best. It never crashes for me, works when I connect directly to networks or use my psyBNC irc proxy. This guy gave it 1 star for having too many settings, this is a good thing. It has a lot of features and is customizable. This app is easy to use and setup, if you can't do it it's your fault or the irc servers, not the apps fault

Keyboard. Keyboard overlaps chat room, unable to see what im typing

Good Client. Works very well for me. No issues at all.

Fail Update Again. Since 1.3 update, app crashes on startup (after short pause) making it completely unusable. iOS 4 tested, great, but it fails now on 3.1.3.

Best IRC app out there!. This is easily the best IRC app out there. Very user friendly, seemlessly operates on multiple networks. Good app support both on iTunes and on their IRC channel. Pretty hard to fault really.

dreadful but works. this is the best that they can come up with on the ipad and iphone? this is missing features that mIRC has had since version 1.0! like for example a button that turns off the useless automatic timeout that cannot distinguish between being connected to the cellphone network and the wifi network! if i wanted it to disconnect from the wifi network i would just QUIT THE PROGRAM! instead every 15 minutes or so i have to switch back to colloquoy just to keep it connected to irc so i can stay up to date with the latest conversation, this behaviour breaks over 10 years of tradition of me starting mIRC and checking in every hour or two or just leaving mIRC run for all night and me checking it in the morning, i hate this app and every other irc client on the apps store, the worst part is that ive had to buy 3 apps just to find out that this heaping pile is the best that you will get, oh gee here we go again, another few bucks wasted on a useless ap!

v1.3.3 crashes at startup. Crash. I use iOS 3.1.3, as recommended by a large numbers of iPhone user forums. Install at your peril and lose your money.

Superb. Very likely the best IRC client for iOS. It's very stable and just works. Would like to see longer auto disconnect times (maximum is current set to 10 minutes) in future updates.

Terrible. Full of issues.

Magic. I use it regularly with a bouncer and bitlbee. Connects quickly, works brilliantly. Just magic.

Brilliant. Fantastic IRC app. Easy to use with all the options I could think of. A help page describing each of the options would not go astray but support on the #colloquy-mobile channel was excellent and helped me get up and running quickly. Now I'm not bound to my desktop when I'm in a discussion. Thanks.

Awesome. Feature to connect to my Desktop Colloquy client is a must! Was always too lazy to configure an IRSSI proxy, well Colloquy replaces it and very easily :)

No longer maintained. No longer maintained by the developer, unfortunately.

Great. Works great. Could do with timed push notification so it can stay connected for an hour before disconnecting or even just long enough to allow use of SMS without disconnecting.

Push is good.. I quite like the option to use pushing from another running computer. This means you don't get disconnected due to switching, or being out of reception. Feels like the OS X version.

Great app, a few minor bugs with current version. App is beautifully presented and easy to use, minor bug in this version where if you switch between rooms/pm's with the keyboard still up, the chat box doesn't stay above the keyboard, it goes behind it and you have to put the keyboard down then up again to read current messages/see what you're typing. Other than that, which I hope to see an update for soon, it's a 5 star app.

Best iOS IRC client, hands down.. Stable, works well, thoughtfully designed. Handles multitasking nicely, too. Plays nicely with my weird IRC setup. I only wish it had nicer themes, but that's not worth a loss of 1 star. ✨👌👍

Excellent. Great app worth it if you use IRC alot

Constant hidden text issue. Everything I type past about 5 words is hidden. Possibly related to increased font size for accessibility? Makes it impossible to use. Great otherwise

Best IRC App. This is the best IRC app on the app store, buy it now, you won't regret it. Stunning.

Best IRC Client. Colloquy is the best IRC client out there, it's really that simple. Unfortunately, IRC is a horrible place, full of terrible people. If you want to go there, take this.

Very very good!. This app is one of the best irc clients, if not the best one I have seen so far! Very good interface, easy to work with! It's worth the buy!

Good but needs windows support. Good app. gets the job done but you can't stay online when u close the app unless you have a bouncer on a desktop. atm there is only a bouncer for the MAC and a beta version for windows which i tried to install to no avail (very complicated process). 5 stars if an easy-to-install bouncer comes out for windows. Cheers

5/5. Best IRC on the store.

I love you. This is brilliant.. On par with rooms.. If not a step further.

I remember why I deleted this so long ago. It's buggy to hell!

Not working right now. Doesn't work in iOS 7

Latest update causing constant crashes. This was working well until this latest update, now it constantly crashes, even when not connected to a server.

Great app!. ..

Crashes repeatedly. When you find yourself copying the text before hitting the send button in case your IRC client crashes, it's time to get a new IRC client.

Used to be great, but now awful. This client was my favourite IRC client for iPhone, back before the recent update, which made it slightly buggy on the iPad, and completely unusable on the iPhone (unless you are okay with manually scrolling the chat view down to view new messages). Also, it now disconnects in ten minutes as if it where in the background when I lock my iPhone or iPad with it in the foreground. Which again, is fine, if you don't mind unlocking your iPhone or iPad every nine minutes (doesn't even alert you anymore) to keep a connection. Also, the bouncer feature never worked properly.

Completely useless. This app would be great if it actually worked without constantly crashing. It has been like this since I purchased the app several months ago. I can maybe join a single channel for an hour or so if I am lucky. I have made repeated attempts to get support in the developers irc channel and have received no responses I have also emailed developers and had no response whatsoever. If this was a free app I would have thrown it away and completely forgotten about it but if you're going to charge money for an app the least you could do is actually listen to your customers or God forbid actually respond to a request for support. Is it really that hard to answer someone? I feel completely ripped off and I have zero faith in this apps developers. Do not waste throw you r money away this is a complete waste of time.

Doesn't work. Asks for password twice and hangs

Favourite IRC client on Mac, now on my iPad.. Excellent app, beautiful interface for a very reasonable price. Works just as well as the original application on the Mac. Would be great to be able to search the list of rooms in the settings, as well as being able to search for a user.

Useless. Absolutely useless - no server list!

Perfect!. It's perfect! It has landscape keyboard! I love you! I ask only one thing, though.... Change the app icon. It looks kinda lame.

Really buggy app. I am encountering multiple bugs a day with this app. The keyboard doesn't support the structure of the design on startup. The multi-tasking fails. And many more failures within the application.

Idle timer. Needs to not log me out every 10 mins if I'm idle. I want to stay on even if I'm tabbed out on ios4. Give me the option please. Needs continuous improvements

BROKEN as of last update. I'm running OS 3 an it doesn't work any more. It crashes stratight away. Also push notifications should be enabled anyway, not just with a stupid bouncer.

Functional but crashes. some ok features but somewhat clumsy and crashing a lot, features stop working between updates which are few in number lately

servers. where are all the servers and rooms

Getting real buggy lately. The only reason I'm still using Colloquy is because there isn't a better alternative for iOS. I expected better from an app which has been around for 4+ years. I've been disappointed with the number of bugs in the app. A recent update now sees the text box not moving up/down with the keyboard. Still not sure what code you've introduced to break such a simple, fundamental function of a chat client.

Broken. This client can't change ports, so it's simply impossible to use it with some servers. Ticket #2806 reporting that bug is now 3 months old, with no response. If your server uses a non-standard port (6667 or 994 for SSL), don't bother.

Excellent. Great IRC client for the iPod/iPhone. Fully functional, and a good UI makes it a pleasure to use.

Best IRC app for iPhone. I have spent a lot of time looking for a good IRC app unsuccessfully, but once I found this app I fell in live with it immediately, it has all the advanced features I need with the simplicity to allow anyone to use it.

?!?. Excuse me, I can't even use this app anymore! It just crashes on startup! I paid for this, and I would like it to work.

Update breaks app. Latest update has almost ruined this app, at least for the iPhone. Crashes now all the time, scroll up or down..crash, click in a channel room or user query...crash. Even just idling and crash. Pls fix these issues

cannot connect to irc servers after update. cannot connect to any irc servers after latest update

Fast and works great with bouncers like znc. Works really great with bouncers and loads history buffers very quickly! My favourite irc client for iOS by a long shot.

Decent App. Only thing that's really annoying is that every time there's supposed to be a new line of text, it jumps but you can't see what you are typing. A pain. If this isn't fixed soon I'm going to switch to a different application.

One of the best IRC clients ever. Fast loading and preprogrammed with a lot of IRC websites

Good but. If you "close" the app it will only stay connected for some minutes, so you can't multitask. Please fix that and I will give it a better rating

The best mobile IRC client just got better. With multitasking support and push notifications, IRC on the phone is a pleasure. Great work.

Good but..... I would like to stay connected, the client disconnects after a few minutes when you re not using it: this should be a must, this is a Mobile irc client. Otherwise, could be fun if the links to you tube we post would be more integrated. Overall the best portable irc i ve tried so far.

Crashing upon start up. This app is crashing/closing seconds after starting up, on my iPhone 3G

Great IRC client. Just like the desktop version on mac os colloquy has a clean attractive interface as well as a growing list of features. Well worth it's low price.

Pretty close to perfect. A great IRC client. The only shortcoming is probably more of an iOS problem than Colloquy's ... the app features some multitasking support, but iOS will quickly kill the connection if it's running in the background for several minutes I would love to have the option to keep things connected in the background until I disconnect ... it's an essential feature if someone is using iOS as their main platform.

Connection issue. Very good app. BUT, not able to connect at all!!! An app that we cant use is useless. More frustrating is that I've paid for it.

Unstable. App works fine as long as it's active but if I go to any other app , colloquy crashes everytime

Crashes. Crashes immediately after opening on iPad air 2 with iOS 8.1.2

Doesn't work. This app doesn't work at all. I get the same issues as the other person who reviewed it. I cannot connect to any server without the app freezing. Please don't get it's a waste of money.

Inferior to a lot of previous versions. First things first inability to see name changes unless using console. I shouldn't have to use the console to check who changed their name to what. Next things next the console crashes if anything is typed into it, this should either be fixed or disable the ability to type into it. Third deleting all text button is very, very inconsistent weather it will work or not, it can be fixed by toggling in and out of the keyboard. Fourth I can no longer leave the keyboard open anymore in rooms I have to manually activate it each time I change rooms.

Full of bugs. Recent version is making a mess of the app A) each pm opens a new window then it freezes B) at one point moving from channels or pm from the main window becomes impossible. It highlights but that's it. You have to restart the app! The main window is where the different servers are listed along with the open channels. C) some times when I want to add a channel it goes through the process but then when I press "done" the channels are not showing. For sometime now I have the feeling the app is getting worse not better with new revisions!!!!! Fix it!

Colloquy. Much harder to use than the older version. Good that it's free. Too bad the older version is no longer available. WG Lea

Crap app. This update is worse than the last. Crashes before even loaded. Good job team!

Doesn't connect. LimeChat connectes fine for me but Colloquy doesn't even after I tried using all the same settings. There is no debugging info other than a message saying 'can't connect' so I have no idea why it is failing. Looked in the help and FAQs but no mention of how to proceed.

Great design, very poor stability. The app crashes on me roughly 1 out of every 4 launches.

Ok app. Works OK but does crash frequently.

Good but flawed. The IRS software itself is very good. Simple, clean and easy to figure out. It has one problem which leaves me still looking for a better client. It has an inactivity disconnect after a few minutes. I need to be able to stay connected.

Crashes. App crashes after 3 seconds. Fix it. You cannot charge people this much money and not have a stable app.

I paid for this?. Crashes on startup. No support info or fix from dev. Good thing it's cheap cause you get what you pry for.

Use it all the time. I'm an IRC junkie and I use this whenever I'm using my iPad. It does everything I want with no fuss. Well worth a couple dollars considering how much I use it. Also, have had zero issues with it, ie no bugs or anything.

Garbage. An unstable stable piece of software whose current update completely neuters it. You can no longer swipe to close conversations without the program crashing. The conversation doesn't close either. Every line of a conversation opens a new window in the app. Rapidly using up memory. Close to useless.

Don't buy. Waste of money. The developers don't care about the bugs that you submit. It does not autoscroll. It kicks you out after 3 minutes of being outside of the app even though you set it to 10 minutes. Using the password fields doesn't work. It doesn't support sasl properly. Just in general terrible irc client. I've used web versions that worked better than this one. Doesn't support ssl properly.

Done everything I could hope for. Great app once you get familiar with it. Serves my needs very well.

Pas mal mais.... Il y a un probleme depuis la IOS 6 on ne peut voir la liste des usagés de chaque channel en cliquant en haut a droite...il serait le fun de pouvoir envoyer des photos comme sur le mac...

Chat app. It's a great app. When it decides to connect. Connection issues need to be looked at Love the looks of this app and again problems with connection issues. They need to be fixed. As well a screen roll on connect

All you could want from mobile IRC. I absolutely love Colloquy. Reliable connection, the forced background time outs are annoying however that is 100% Apple's fault. iOS forces apps to disconnect when running in the background for too long. It fully supports BNC's, such as ZNC. Sending messages to *status and module names works flawlessly. Multi server support is works great as well. It comes with a console which provides a ton of information about the connection. Similar to the Server window of mIRC. As an owner of an IRC server. I am pleased I can execute any command I need, including support for 3rd party Unreal and Anope commands. All in all the best IRC client for iOS. Leaves very little (if anything) to be desired.

Need a build in browser. This app is very nice and work very well. But since the iPhone doesn't let you multi-task so if someone post a link and you want to view it, you get disconnected from the server which is awful.

Broken. text typed in input box is completely offset and makes the app unusable

Great update. I thought the original version was kind of an uninspiring port, but the dev(s) released a really nice update with new features and whatnot, so I felt compelled to toss in a review.

Good but... $2?. It's a pretty good app. But I don't think the 2 dollar price tag is justified. 99¢ would make more sense.

No SILC support???. The colloquy client is classically a solid SILC client for osx. This iOS client seems to lack any SILC functionality, therefore is nothing but a waste of 2 bucks from my perspective.

Better than mango hd. No crash. Everything works perfectly. I prefer a window tab to list users and channel. But this is minor. Both can still be accessed indirectly. Best iPad 3 irc program as of now.

Amazing program. Works perfectly. Worth the money.

Please fix it. Since IOS 13 auto scroll in chats no longer works making it unpleasant to use ....could you please fix this as I used to love using this app ....thanks

Used to be awesome. iOS 13 and the latest update made a formerly awesome app into something that feels unfinished. The font selection doesn’t work as expected... most of the choices don’t look correct. And the worst part is that chats don’t automatically scroll up the screen anymore. Unless you keep flicking upward you can’t see the latest messages... even your own.

Good IRC client for iPhone!. I have not had one problem with this app! Only thing I wish it had was a way to see all chat history.

On screen keyboard covers text entry box. On screen keyboard covers text entry box. In both portrait and landscape. Can't find any options to fix. Pretty unusuable, waste of two bucks

Almost PERFECT. I love this app. I use Colloquy every day on my Mac, and the iPhone client is absolutely wonderful. I love that you can view and type in either portrait or landscape, and the layout and all the little details they've put into it are just beautiful! The only reason I've left off a star, is because it's missing something I deem absolutely necessary in an IRC client. The ability to disable graphical emoticons. I dunno how they do it, but it seems EVERY text-based smiley I type is detected and replaced with generic ones. And multiple different smileys are replaced by the same general smileys and I just find it annoying. If Colloquy Project could give us that functionality, I'll GLADLY re-rate this app at 5 stars!! * * * * * Those of you who are looking for a good, easy-to-use IRC app for the iPhone, look no further; THIS IS THE ONE!

terrible. useless for me as a new user...can't enter real name terrible menus. etc

This qoliquay app. I am an Mirc user for almost 20 years and your app is just to confusing for me. It doesn't turn with your pad...so it stays vertical while I prefer to see It in landscape fashion. I won't be using this app.

Does the job well. I'm generally happy with this app. Works well but there should be a way to stop auto disconnecting you if you don't keep using it. That part is annoying. Wish I could figure out if theres a way to use a black color scheme like a terminal or mIRC too. Cheers from EFnet!

Go use limechat instead. Last update caused all of my connections to be lost.. Znc colloquy push module (newest version built from source and verifying connection) wont work, can't view users in room anymore, push doesn't work at all and hasn't in months... Since that was the only reason to use this client and that feature is broken, there is no reason to use this client at all.. Don't waste your money. Support is non existent, the one update in about 2 years or so broke the app even more.. Nothing good about it. Go use lime chat instead.

Working!. Colloquy seems to be working fine now after the latest update. Haven't had weird graphical glitches yet either. I still wish it wouldn't disconnect after 1-3 minutes just for being out of the app, but I know that is an iOS issue.

New update really broke this app :(. (iPad 3 user) Two major bugs in this new version have practically broke the app for me. First, it seems to extend the chat window to the right beyond the iPad's bounds so I can't access the user list, and most importantly, it acts very erratically with autocorrect now, it always changes the last word of whatever I type into something bizarre that normally wouldn't happen in another app, and it doesn't have anything popping up to tell me it's going to correct me either. I don't know why they had to update it because the app worked perfectly for me before this.

Great App but.... I have always used this app for irc, won't use anything else. However I am more or less annoyed at the general lack of attention minus major releases every half a year to a year when a new iOS version comes out. I'd expect more work on this application since I know of many people who use it and have great benefit from a flexible irc client. In short, where's the love?

Time Limit. Love the app. A great way for me to meet all sorts of people, and is a massive way to connect with furries. The only problem I have with it is the fact that you can only have the app running in the background for about 60 seconds before it logs you out or changes your nick. Very frustrating to have to open it every second to keep it running, but other than that it is amazing

I couldn't begin to tell you what is happening with this app. This thing behave like no IRC app I've ever seen. Many many windows. Multiple chat windows open for very message received. The message list get huge immediately and but won't scroll so you can see them all. Something is seriously wrong with this app and its mind blowing that it ever made it to production in this state. Very disappointing showing from the folks who make such a useful and great desktop app.

Great, simple irc client. I love the landscape mode the only thing I wish they would have is more appearance options. The text seperate from the messages (enter and exit text) is somewhat small. Being able to change the font settings would me great.

Worthless update!!. The latest update 1.3.5 is more of a headache than helpful. Channel and member lists are completely invisible now, and there is no way to "swipe" to show nicks like Colloquy claims. Very buggy with too many disconnects and the keypad not appearing when the text window is tapped. This needs to be fixed, and at the very least the previous version should be made available while the fixes are made! All these bugs are NOT ok for a paid app!!!!!

Best irc app out. I've tried tons of IRC apps on virtually every platform, both mobile and desktop and I can truly say mobile colloquy is one of the best. Jane and the team have done a great job adding neat little, well executed features that come together to form one exceptional IRC client.

Works ok. Sorely missing features.. Works well with ZNC push. The UIX is awful. The app has a "dark" theme, but in reality this only changes the colors within the chat window. Not the keyboard, or the navigation bars, or the menu. The result is the user still being awkwardly blinded by half the screen while the other goes dark. I'll keep using colloquy for now, but these common sense items should really be addressed.

Well... Normally my favorite irc app for iOS because of colloquy's built in bouncer. However, either from this update or colloquy's Mac client I can no longer see previous messages from logging into the bouncer like I use to. Now I have to VPN to see if I have any messages. Ill still give four stars because I'm not sure who's at fault here and I still love the app, but please fix this issue.

Lol?. What happened like two updates back? Now I can't even see the user list for channels anymore( at least when on a bouncer ), the app randomly crashes when running with backgrounding on, as well as status not being displayed for the server your connecting/connected to ( unless you can read raw traffic from console lol ).

Not great. It doesn't go into the background for more than 10 minutes. I'm on AT&T and I can never connect to an freenode's irc network, I just get a bunch of sasl errors. I can however, connect on wifi. This app is good if you want to get on irc, chat, and then disconnect entirely. You can use it to always stay on if you have a "bounce" server. My machine at home is never on, so this is rather pointless. I don't recommend this app at all.

Awesome best value.. Those guys are pushing updates all the time and this app has a simple UI yet so powerful. Also works great with iOS 4.2 multitasking (except for a little keyboard glitch which was easily fixed). I can definitely recommend this app if you use irc regularly.

it does what it needs to, but could do better. there's really no other way for me to connect to the client i use from my phone, and this app lets me connect to it. it's convent, but cant run in the background for longer than three minutes or so, which is a pain. group chats don't send a notification to your phone either. i liked using this app while i could, but now it suddenly refuses to connect to my client, (not sure if this is the client's end or the app's) so it's pretty much rendered useless to me now. it would help if setting up and using this app was clearer, or if there were actual directions on how to use it

New Version Hit & Miss. * Built in browser was a pain when you needed the site later, so that's a welcome change. Use app switching by double clicking home screen or swipe gesture. * Ignore the guy who says autoscroll and autocorrect are broken. Autoscroll works fine. Autocorrect is just what's built into iOS. * Has a weird bug on iPhone where you can't close Colloquies without removing the whole server. Extremely annoying. * iPhone 5 native is appreciated.

Could be great.. I've used Colluquy for OS X for a number of years now and love it, and I would love Colloquy Mobile just as much if it wasn't for one show stopping bug. Colloquy Mobile, for some reason, won't remember the Bouncer password on relaunch and you have to re-enter it manually. There are tickets that are over 4 months old on the subject and it still hasn't been fixed. Not sure why this hasn't gotten attention, but it makes it useless for me as I want to reconnect automatically on open.

Simply the best!. So worth the wait for my favorite irc client! Everything is stellar, as always. Having a few lines of current chat under each channel name was always a nice feature, but feels even better on the iPad. And universal app? Awesome, guys.

Very Pleased. Really intuitive and easy to use especially like the landscape mode. Very easy to auto-join rooms with passwords which I use. Overall simple and clean UI, nothing that I would change about it. Thanks to the developers of this app, I'm very pleased.

Small Fonts. I wish you could change fonts or size fonts, so people that have trouble reading small text would be able to read it easier. Other than that Great app. I sure hope this will be a great multi tasking app.

Needs an update. I've been using Colloquy for years, and prefer it over other IRC programs - but considering the updates and changes to iOS since the last time Colloquy was updated, it's time for an overhaul. Especially with the new keyboards and predictive text, there are all kinds of keyboard spacing issues to content with. Please make this a program to keep using, instead of something to abandon!

Best One On The Market. It is the best one. I tryied two others IRC clients on iPod and never could utlize my admin priveldeges because of the poor software, which refused to log me in. I had to create a new account which was retarted. I didn't have that problem with this software.

Good app, but.... Advertises staying connectedwhile locked, but fails to mention that it's only for 10 minutes due to an iOS limitation (so you can thank Apple.) Still, seems like poor practice to say "stays connected while locked" and then withhold the fact that it can't stay connected for longer than 10 minutes, given that I'd imagine most people who pick it up for that are doing sp because most other apps don't offer it at all. Be honest.

Please update Colloquy. This app needs some updating badly. 1st off the away issue that one of the reviewers mentioned below is really annoying. Secondly make it iOS 6 compatible so I can get a few extra lines of text from the chat room. Some more themes would be nice. This app is good but it could be better and I think it's due for and upgrade since it hasn't be updated in a while.

Colloquial. I love it. There are a few problems here and there. Most of which have been fixed since I first used the app. Colloquy is great for addicted IRCers like myself, and great for the casual chatters too. Linkinus for iPhone seems like a great alternative if this isn't quite your style or prefer the similarities it has to Linkinus for Mac OS X.

Can't connect to freenode or support room. I think something went south with Colloquy recently -- it used to work just as promised, but lately (iOS 5? iPhone 4S?) I can't connect to freenode, which is the only network I care about AND the colloquy support room network. Pretty frustrating. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but I was only able to connect once (the first attempt after the fresh install)

Crash on /invite. I submitted a bug report through the app store and this is still broken. As great as this app is otherwise, I am surprised this has not been fixed. I continue to crash friends' apps by /inviting them to channels. This happens at least on EFnet; unsure if it is network specific. Do the developers read reviews if not bug reports?

Crashing when closing sessions, misc. issues. I am having reproducible crashes every time I close a session (Nickserv, console, whatever) to an active IRC connection. Also, I cannot get user info queries to work properly, either. I haven’t had time to check everything, but this new update seems to need some quality assurance work, at least on iPad Pro.

iPhone lover. It would be extremely unfortunate for anyone not to have this app. Use it too chat with other iPhone users and all your friends sitting at home! It's great on the go entertainment and only $1.99! why so cheap? I don't have a clue! But you should get it before they change their minds!

Great app, but could use more. For example, I'd love to see a channel mode window, to see current bans and invites, be able to set modes easier. Also one thing that can be a bit annoying, colors in channel topics continue after the topic "ends" it's usually also colors the "set by nickname." at the end of topics. Other than that it's a nice app.

Really good app. Its easy to use once you connect and it crashes less than alot of other orc apps. The only feature i can suggest is an ignore feature in addition to kick and ban. Also itd be nice to have a kick+ban button so you dont have to push both. All around though this is a good app.

best iphone irc app. This is by far the best IRC app for the iPhone/iPod touch. The interface is very well done and the app works great. I've been using it for a while and have only found a few small bugs, but I contacted the developers and they fixed them very quickly. Definitely worth the money.

Was okay, is now bad. Colloquy worked fine for months for me, I preferred limechat on my Mac but used this on my ipad. My biggest beef was that I needed to log out of each room each time I signed out, because if I didn't, the list of users in the room wouldn't refresh when I signed back in. It also wouldn't refresh as folks came and went, so either you paid attention to the comings and goings as they scrolled by in chat or you didn't know who was there. After the latest update, I have no user list, AND no way to manage rooms. Will install the LimeChat app and uninstall this.

Very useful, works smoothly. It's nice having a feed of the channels I watch handy on a screen next to me. I only wish that the menus were a little more contextual, because sometimes it's hard to tell how deep into a settings panel you are. Also, longer multitasking lengths would be nice but I assume that has more to do with the OS than the app itself.

Best in class. This is the mobile IRC experience I've been waiting for. I look forward to future updates making an amazing product even more amazing. Thank you Colloquy!

Thanks for Killing a Perfectly Good App. Don't know what you guys did but haven't been able to connect for at least a month on Colloquy. Before the latest update, it constantly would say it could not connect. Now, the status thingy turns yellow when I try to connect and just sits. It doesn't even try to connect, just sits there. Please fix this or I want my money back. I didn't change even one setting. Stop trying to add new things without working out the already existing bugs.

iOS 8 update. Glad they finally updated to iOS 8 support, however the text size is way too small. I haven't been able to figure out a way to change this there really should be an adjustment for other devices. Not every customer is using a 6 Plus. Even with my 6, it feels too small for the screen size. A happy medium or at least an option for larger text would be great.

Impossible to use. If you enter a room that requires authorizing and the app closes for whatever reason, it then becomes impossible to open the app back up and continue because you automatically get banned from that group before you can re-auth your account. After getting the message saying I was banned, the app is then frozen, requiring you to close the app again and start over. But then you get banned again.

Pretty good client.. I keep accidentally deleting my messages if I write ones that are too long ... Have adjusted to having pages open in a separate task so I can switch back and forth and avoid the problem. No undo that I've seen either. But it works, and it works well and intuitively- fist day I had 7 different chats up on 3 servers. Good app.

Ok -- could be a lot better. No way to see server status. No way to see what is going on while it is trying to connect. Doesn't provide an easy way to do simple things like set yourself +i when connecting. Auto correct is extremely annoying and corrects words in ways that don't make sense. For example, "annoying" becomes "annoyingly", many words become plural by themselves. Interface is overly simplified in a way that makes it counter intuitive to use. I would rather use ircii.

Not just good, but great!. Rooms came first and served me well but this mobile version of Colloquy has all of Rooms' power and more plus a nicer simpler UI. The helpful popups for commands and usernames are awesome as is the searchable user list. I also really like viewing multiple channels at once. All in all Colloquy manages to take a few key steps past the very good Rooms to become great.

The best IRC client. I've used the desktop version of this app for years, and I've been waiting for an update to the mobile version before I bought it. The app is fantastic. Its clean interface and integration with iOS make it by far the most superior IRC app for iOS.

support is laughable. It's comical that their support site doesn't load 99% of the time. Not only can you not ask for support, but you can't access all of the other requests for support and/or bug tickets that have been filed. This is the case for both the mobile app and the desktop app. While the desktop app is free, the mobile app is not, so the colloquy devs have no excuse not to support the mobile app. How difficult/expensive is it to host a simple website and allow users to file bug reports and possibly see workarounds other users have figured out? Epic FAIL.

Works great. I have none of the problems these other people are talking about. There is no time colloquy imposes. It's the same limit every app has to adhere to. It's called the backgrounding limit that apple limits every app too. Honestly, the app works great. An open source, so if its broke, you can submit a fix to fix it.

Bouncer support rocks!. Assuming you have a Mac that is accessible over the network, the bouncer / push notifications work seamlessly. Open up Mobile Colloquy, and it fetches the old messages from Colloquy on your Mac and displays them as if you had received them directly on your iPad. Pretty sweet. Almost makes me not miss multitasking.

Almost Perfect. Needs tabs for connections in portrait mode, the drop down menu is a pain to access every time. Landscape mode layout is better but then the windows are too small/cramped and the keyboard takes up too much real estate.

Couldn't ask for anything better. I started using IRChon about a month ago, and I couldn't even count how many times it crashed. Plus, no mode or services commands. This is 1000x times better with no crashes yet, all services commands, mIRC colors, mode commands, and auto-identification. I am so happy. 

Excellent IRC Client. Haven't used URC in years but was using Colloquy for Mac during MacHeist. Bought this so I could stay connected while not at my workstation. This is just awesome. Autocomplete is great. Full support for "/commands." Stays connected when phone is locked. Extremely stable. Definitely worth $3.

The best IRC app for iOS. The title says it all. This is simply the most open and easy to use IRC client for iOS. I've tried them all and found them all to be quirky and annoying to some extent except for Colloquy. If you're a regular on IRC, this app definitely deserves your $1.99.

Nice App. Colloquy allows me to log in to many different channels and switch between all of them with ease. I really like how you can see the latest messages of all the channels at once before selecting one. I do wish, however, that I could do other things on my iPod Touch while remaining logged in. 4 stars, worth the money.
