Awesome app. This is an awesome app ease to use

Best app I've ever downloaded. I run a couple small businesses and with this iPhone app we can do all of our accounting on my phone... I have never used an app better than this out of the hundreds I've downloaded. I can't thank you makers enough it's perfect. You guys thought of everything and then let me try it for free to the point I could figure out how to use it. Will be purchasing the full version as soon as I hit my limit on this one. $4.99 for an app with as much power as this so cheap. I have never been so happy with an app. Now if this company made an app strictly for business I would probably pay a ton of money for it... I paid $150 for quickbooks and this app is all I really need for my smaller company. Thanks guys

Very handy. I need some thing to keep up with how much money I have and what I spend it on. I had a debit check book but I was so confusing with keeping it with you and the adding is perfect. I needed something that I can always keep with me and not be extra weight. This app helps a lot, at first it is very confusing but after 5 to 10 minutes you'll get a hang out it quick. This is a very handy tool and is super easy to use once you get use to it.

Best App for budgeting ever!!!. I've always had problems budgeting money. I between my work, school, and my son, I never had time to sit down and write out a budget. With this program, I am able to set up reoccurring payments, adjust my income whenever necessary, and fully customize every little thing to fit my needs! I can finally see where all of my money is going, and cut down on a lot of unnecessary spending.

Bad update. I agree, this is a very bad update. It will not allow me to make any deposit entries. I am not sure if it is because of a bum update or the new interface (which I am not loving or I have just not figured it out). The previous version was quick, simple & very easy to figure out and use. Whether it be a bad update for the unfriendly user interface or a glitch in the update that is not allowing it to function properly it isn't working for me. I did not have long to play around with the older version, but i really liked it. Hope the bugs get worked out of this, so I can make up my mind if this is really the great application I thought it was.

The best app so far, but still lacking. Updated review: Developers: I'm using Family Budget instead of paying $5 for the regular app. This decision is strictly from the seemless ease of syncing. Other than that, you are much closer to what I am looking for. If I didn't have a joint account, I would buy the your upgraded version. Please figure out how to sync!!! This app has almost everything you could want with one major thing missing: the ability to sync with your spouse. The only two apps that have the ability (mybudge & family budget) are difficult to navigate. If the developers do one thing, please please make it easy to share with multiple users (at least one other user) so we don't have to re-enter each others information! Also would like the ability to save a few custom reports. I like to filter by payment (to see my account balances) at all times, but also like to see amount spent by catagory. Wish I could save these preferences for ease. The sync ability is gold! The first developers that get it right have a $20 app (easy)!

nicest interface, but not fastest. Nicest interface of all the expense tracking apps, however, the current next highest rated one is a fair amount faster launching, as well as slightly faster at saving new entries (this is on a iPhone 3GS). In the end, speed on a daily use basis is more important than pretty. This does offer a lot more views of your data and has impressive reporting capabilities built-in. The budgeting features might also be attractive to some users (I was using purely to track business expenses). In summary, work on the app speed and you'll have 5 stars!

LOVE IT!!!!!. This application is amazing! It keeps me aware of my spending, the amount, the place --- and how well I am staying within my monthly budget. I am very, very pleased --- the pie/graph charts are an added bonus - and really help me narrow in on areas where I might be overspending - love the expense icons, the interface, the natural ease of use ..... I'm not using this to keep track of regular monthly bills and income (I keep a simple excel spreadsheet for that purpose, and attend to it twice a month) -- so I really did not want the hassle of a fully integrated financial program on my phone -- just need to keep my spending organized and on-track - and this app works beautifully for BOTH! Thank you so much - I'll be upgrading to full version soon! Oh- also appreciate all the different sort features and receipt photos - really allows me to 'drill down' my expenses ---- :-D happy!!! :-D

Thanks!. I have been using this app for about 5 months now. I have been very satisfied. I use this app primarily as a short term storage as I have a more in depth program on excel on a laptop. But I can update from this app to that program quite well. You will need to get the pro version if you want to have many entries and a running account. On short? It's free! At least the lite version is and it let's you really check out the program before a purchase.

Impressed. This is the best, well thought out app I have come across in a long time. 5 stars!! Just got done setting this little gem up. Created accounts, added initial balances and then started entering expenses. Absolutely no questioning on what I needed to do or how to do it.

Best app for cash flow management. This is the best app for cash flow management, you can manage many accounts in a very easy and intuitive way.

Very easy to use. I have been using this app for about 6 weeks and love it. I've tried different ones and have had issues on them locking up, freezing, you name it. This one has been fantastic.

Good but needs more.. Not a bad little program. Very useful even for being free. I would purchase the full version if it did a few more things. It needs: -on the detailed budget where it shows how much you have left to spend, it would be incredibly helpful if behind each catagory was a faint colored bar that decreased as you spent more money in that catagory. Green full to yellow to red as it depleates. So at a glance you could see how much you have left to spend in each catagory. - a way to add in unexpected income. - if the bar graph could work in reverse as well. I tend to want to see how much I have left more so then how much I've spent. So if it's $500 for personal, the bar is at $500 then counts down(lowers/decreases) throughout the month as you spend. As being a budget program it needs more visuals on how much you have left in certain areas. Maybe pick a top five catagories for a countdown page that shows almost like life bars for each catagory and to the side an overall budget meter. It just seems much more tangable to grasp how much you have left to spend when it's numbers with a visual representation. Overall best budget program out.

Aww no deposit button? WRONG idiots. This is a very handy app, don't listen to these idiots who think you cannot add money to your budget figure. They just aren't creative enough to realize that when you create a new item, the program automatically sets the transaction up to deduct money from your total budget (also known as spending), the inverse of this action only requires that you denote the monetary sum involved in the transaction as a negative! If you can't figure that out then: 1) You need something other than an iPhone app to help you manage your finances 2) I am suprised you can operate the device you are now holding That being said, spend the money on this app, I almost didn't even try it because of these idiots that write reviews after 10 seconds of using something and need instructions paraded in bright colors at every turn.

Best app on my phone for years. I've been using this app since 2009. Aside from the pre-installed iPhone apps, this may be the only app that has never left my first home screen. I can look up my every expense in the last 6 years in seconds on my phone. It's heaven for one with an OCD mindset. Entries are very quick. Maybe 10 seconds. Especially with vendors you've used before. I hope it keeps getting compatibility updates alongside iOS updates. I'd be willing to pay again for a visual overhaul (the app looks very outdated design-wise) but the functionality is most important and in that respect, it's simple and solid as a rock.

Perfect, Absolute Necessity. I track ALL incomes and expenses, so I hit the 200 mark in a few months. Inputs take seconds. Full version purchase was totally worth it. This app takes the "at a glance" notion and sprints with it, leaving a burning trail of awesomeness. The functionality of this app is really quite amazing with bar/pie graph display options and a host of easy to use features. I've been an avid user almost a year and am still learning new functions. Aside from google maps, this is the only app I could never live without. Also, I've used hundreds of apps, and this is the ONLY one I've ever written a review for. If you take the time (and not that much is necessary), this app will repay you more than I can describe. And the ability to send/import backups provides a huge peace of mind. GET THIS APP!!!

Works great. I downloaded 7 apps for expense tracking testing each app.. Deleted all but this one. I wish it would allow for split transactions. I do it manually and write notes which is not ideal. Still gave it 5 stars for functionality and ease of use. Works for our small business and personal expense tracking. 😀

Try It. Though this app is not perfect, but I disagree with the previous review about the speed of data input. I have compared about 1/2 dozen expense/budget apps out there. This app frankly is the FASTEST app in recording expenses. I do wish they can increase the number of records allowed in the trial version, but then again, I don't want to end up transfering too many records over to the full version if I decided to buy the full version. The budget portion in this app is not as strong, but if tracking expense is your main concern, this is a must try and must have app. Trust me!

Great expense tracking application!. I have downloaded most lite expense trackers, and this is the second best application. It tracks VAT and currencies. It has a unique display of what you have in the main screen. The reports are very good (but not the best) and very useful (some applications have useless reports!). Expenses can be downloaded to excel, which is very good, both for backing up purposes and for further analysis (but what you spent is gone!). What I wish it had is account tracking, for example, if you could enter debit, credit and checking accounts, and track money sent from one to the other as well as cash in your wallet, you'd know where every cent is. There's an application that handles that, but the green display of what you have is awesome here. Also, this one has the currency tracking feature. Steer clear of other lesser applications, and always download lite versions first!

The best budget app in my opinion!. I love this app soo much! I've had it for three days and have tried three other budget apps as well. Here is why I recommend this one: 1) It is fully functional in the free version. It limits the number of expense entries to 200, but that's it. You can do EVERYTHING ELSE. :) 2) Holy wow this app is versatile. From the number of accounts and budgets you can make to what you can get them to do - I love it. I have one "budget" that just tracks my credit card charges every month. 3) I like how customizable it is. I can add expense categories, change the icons, choose where to have certain sub-categories. I really like it. 4) The auto-fill is extremely handy!u If I go grocery shopping at Kroger a lot and always use my debit card, the app knows that and will automatically input the category and payment type as soon as I enter Kroger as the vendor. Very handy. 5) Perhaps most important of all, EXELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I couldn't figure out how to get my payments onto my credit card to stop showing up as part of my cash flow (my credit card is one of my "accounts"), so I emailed them and got a really helpful reply in less than 24 hours. If you want a good budget app (and especially if you are like me and do NOT want to have to upgrade to iOS 5), get this one. I'm upgrading to the pro version as soon as I find my iTunes gift card!

It's a Demo. I found this program to be excellent. However, I was disappointed to find out that this is more of a "Demo" version that allows you to add 10 items. This was not expressed before hand here. To make things a bit worse, once you download the full version which sells at a reasonable price of $4.99, there is no way to import the 10 items I entered from the lite version into the full version. So I just wasted close to an hour of my time which I have to redo again. I think I'm being really nice with this review because it was a good program, with perfectly good reason to be disappointed.

Certainly Not Junk. They must have fixed the bug Which prevents 200 Items to be entered with the lite version. I played around and entered a full two weeks worth of income and expenses with no problem. Yes, the interface is quite detailed, which may deter some. But you only have to enter or select the fields you want to use for a particular transaction. You can enter nothing but the amount earned or spent, or you can be highly detailed even to the point of including a picture of a receipt or deposit slip. It did crash on me once, as people are saying. But then again, everything is prone to crashing when you are running iOS4 on a 3G iPhone! I would give it five stars if it hadn't crashed. Yes, it is probably because my iPhone is outdated, but expandability is key with any program on any platform. I'll keep playing with the lite version, and if it continues to perform as it already has I will probably buy the full version. Also, I haven't tried syncing it in any way yet. But with the tricks I know I'm sure I'll find a way.

Money Manager. Great App. one of the best available. The CONS: It does not allow one to edit or delete pre-loaded (default) categories; it does allow to create new ones but that creates clutter if one is not using the default categories. 2) It would be nice to have the option of tracking more than one account. The PROS: the charts, reports, monthly and yearly totals. In its defense, and for those who complain of not being able to input income, get a check register application. As the name of this app. implies, it is an expense tracking application, not an income tracking app. However, I will go for HomeBudget. It allows me to edit and create my own categories and subcategories and it allows the user to track more than one account.

Simple. Its simple but thorough application

Account Balance?. I found this app to be very effective for those who wish to keep track of their spending. It's basically an organizer that allows you to see where and what you spend your money on. A spending report. HOWEVER, I personally could not find reference online or in previous reviews on how to keep track of all of your money, as a register would. I mean, knowing I spend too much money eating out is nice, but knowing how much I have to spend is better. I had to download the "Balance" app to compensate for what this one lacks. Add a bank account function, where it simultaniously keeps track of your bank account balance while graphing your spending report, and this app would be a full 5 stars!

Great free tool!. For free and for my limited uses it's exceptionally good. I am very organized and like to be really precise in my record-keeping and this app allows you to do so easily. I thought it a little hard to intuit how to customize categories but once u figure it out (touch the name and slide to right) the options make this very useful. And I got EXCELLENT support when I had a brain freeze and couldn't figure out how I was screwing up the export function! Lastly I seem to remember that the earlier free version allowed much fewer entries while now you can do hundreds. That's a good developer!

Good overall. It's good but I only gave it 4 stars because I want an app that I can download my bank information strait from the app not have to use my computer. Also because I tried to use that method and it didn't work. I sent an email to the maker telling him the error I got and I never got a reply back. Probably won't buy the full app because this is mostly what I wanted it for. However this is only app that allows you to download information at all so I hope they get this fixed. I would gladly pay three times what there asking if this was updated

Don't know how I live without.. Keeping a budget is so much easier. It is a blessing to me a other on how to keep proper record.

Exactly what I was looking for. Great program. I use it to keep track of research expenses. Very easy to use.

Inconsistent with how many items it allows.. I don't know if this is a bug, or a ploy to get you to buy the full version. But when I first loaded this on my Touch, it only allowed 3 entires before I got the "purchase" reminder. I uninstalled, then reinstalled and then I was able to get the full 10 allowed. However, on my iPhone, it will only allow 1 entry. That's right ONE, before getting the purchase reminder. I uninstallled and reinstalled and rebooted the phone 3 times. The program itself is great, but something isn't right about the demo's implementation. I do like the amount of categories and subcategories, along with keeping track of your budget. I may get the full version, but I do feel a bit unhappy about not being allowed a full 10 on the demo, at least on the iPhone.

Crash Crazy!. Wow. I would love to rate this higher because this app is pretty cool. But when it crashes all the time and can't be used because of that, what use is it? This thing crashes non-stop. I guess you get what you pay for. However, in reading the reviews for the $5 "full" version, it seems that it crashes nonstop as well. It's surprising to me that a company would release such a bug-ridden application and charge people for it. Besides the crashing, this application is pretty cool. I am hopeful that the problem will be resolved, but I can assure you, I won't be upgrading to the full version until it has!

Expense/Budget Application redefined. This app is customization to the max. It is so awesome that it had everything I wanted. Install it and try to do something and 99% chances that you will be able to do it. It can do more than what the description of the app says. I am still using the lite version becuz it's the same as the full version with limitation on number of expenses I can store but I will be happy to buy the full version if I need it. Just go ahead and try this if you are on a tight budget like me there is absolutely nothing better than this.

Opening my eyes. Have been using it about 2 weeks and have entered all my income and expenses going back to Jan 1. Very impressed with ease of use and reports with great visual graphics. Very easy to customize. If I enter a vendor or payer I've used before it will automatically fill in categories and payment method I used before which saves time and I can change it if needed. You have to enter your transactions so there's a commitment required on your part but if you're serious about wanting to know where you are financially, this is a great, easy and visually nice tool. I was going to use Mint but I don't want to connect my checking and credit card to an app on my phone. I'm not that lazy or that trusting. Entering this info myself makes me more conscious of what I'm spending and earning. I can see in real time how my credit card spending compares with income so I stay in the green and CC bill is not a shock. I also love seeing how income amounts compare from various clients and other sources. Very useful and helpful if you are diligent in using it. I spent mostly with CC and checks so not much can fall through the cracks. Also love that it will remind me to log my spending if I haven't made any entries by evening. Loving it!

Very good... If you're looking for a simple way to track your finances this is the tool. Very easy to use and gives you a detailed breakdown of income and expenses.

Good Luck if You Have Any Problems. I downloaded this app and paid to upgrade to Pro so I could sync with my husband. Three months in and I can’t get it to sync or send an email for support. There’s also no fix presented in the FAQ or in forums. Email goes to some sketchy company and the auto reply addresses another app.

Basically good app. This is pretty good basically. I like summarizing my expenses in the report feature but inevitable every time I do the app crashes when I look at a category then try to go back which is annoying. But, that's the only 'problem' I've encountered. Otherwise I find it handy for budgeting.

Great app, but..!. All the features inside "Settings > General" are not usable and all the knobs are always off. If I turn on any knob/feature, and go back, it automatically turns off. I guess it might be version compatibility issue. Please fix this soon! Further, I'd love to have much thinner graph bar lines than the current ones which makes it too difficult to compare all the expenses in one shot.

Crashed 5 times in 5 minutes. I've got no other apps running in memory and am running latest version of IOS and yet this app (free version) has crashed repeatedly. Is anyone else experiencing this? Functionality and intuitiveness is great but stability is awful. I'll keep persevering but won't be buying the full app unless I get better stability.

Great program. Wow. I can't believe how much use I have gotten out of this app in just one day. I calculated a personal loan into my expenses, projected when I would be in surplus, copied my receipt which I think is a fantastic feature. I will be getting the full version.

Needs Sync to be great. I love the simplicity and speed to enter expenses. Intuitive and easy. It needs Sync functionality to be worthwhile for me. I only get half the picture - my husband & I need to share info on what we spend. I'd upgrade my rating to 5 star with sync functionality!

User Friendliness Sacrificed.. The app is simply unintuitive. Why not just have icons for Income, Budget and Expense, then a nice big + on each to allow easy and intuitive entry. Not sure whether the Lite version is such limited but I could not add a budget for a category/sub-category, only for the whole month. I may have missed something, but that just proves the point about user-friendliness.

Great app. I tried the lite version of a few different apps and this one is by far the best. Easy to use and it has all the features I need. I'll most likely get the full version.

Ixpense Llte. I find the program very useful and easy to use. Would recommend it to anyone for keeping track of cash spending. Well thought out.

Great app for business travel. I use the lite version for travel and it's terrific. Converts currencies effortlessly and I can export into excel. I would buy the full package if it remembered vendors. Does anyone know if it does?

Great Budget Tracker. I've been using this for a while now and like the flexibility or add my own items. A few parts not intuitive to me (could be my user error) but I'd like to adjust my starting balance amounts and can't figure out how! Good overall!

Excellent!. Great app seeing it's free. Custom categories, easy to use. I've since bought the full version and it's absolutely worth it. The latest updates/upgrades make it even more value for money. Keep up the great work.

Great, easy to use. Really like this app. Daily reminder to enter transactions is handy. Very easy to customize, but still easy to use. Great, but why the horrible icon?. This is the best looking budget app around. Looks play a huge part in my app purchasing decision. However, until the ugly icon is replaced I just won't spend money on the paid version. Please replace it, I want to have a budget app on my main home screen and it NEEDS to be pretty.

Categories. The program is really nice but you cannot delete or erase the categories and subcategories you create. If I cannot edit those in the full version either I do not know if its really worth for me to pay the for the full version

Great for capturing International Company Expenses. Just want to say what a great app this is. I travel alot of my time and have been logging my company releated expenses in iXpenseIt for a while now. With a little bit of VBA coding to take the iXpenseIt export into the my companies expense claim sheet it makes claim submission easy and a push button affair. One of the big benefits is that the iPhone is always handy to capture expenses as they occur, rather than powering up a laptop! One tip is - if you’re on an international trip which you need to capture claims for, is to set your defaults such as Expense Type, Currency ect in the settings, then it’s basically a twostep process of entering the claim amount and category for each entry…

Great. Easy to use and pretty much makes sense. A few things like setting up the categories is a bit confusing. Just remember to press he save button.

Expenslt. I have used this on 2 business trips so far, and find it very convenient to record expenses. Just a very few annoyances, like when I change the vendor, it offers me entries for other fields from previous entries, which I may not notice are wrong for the current entry. Overall, pretty good!

This is the app I choose to use!. Find this app useful and effective! Some time was spent customising it's contents to suit me, which was actually quite rewarding and gave me the opportunity to review my current situation. By the time setup was completed I had a very good overview and reminder of my budget. I also like how mine reminds me with an alert at 8pm daily as well! It keeps me using it... Cheers

iXpenseIT. Very comprehensive but simple to use and very fast. The graphs are clearly readable. I had a minor support issue but the response was always within a few days, very helpful and better than I was expecting. SR (Oz).

Excellent Update :-). This is a very good app and the recent update is an absolute cracker. Major improvements to the stability & increased entries from 10 to 50 make this very usable now. The only downer was that some of the customizable icons like the water tap icon have disappeared. Now I have to use the generic electric utility avatar for my water bill :-( Unlike some other reviewers, I found the controls & layout to be fairly intuitive & reasonably easy to figure out. I can also edit & delete catagories & subcatagories as I see fit. I really like the visuals and find it aesthetically pleasing. If this were a bit cheaper I would definitely consider the full version but as it stands, iExpensit Lite makes it into my budget.

The best I have ever tried!. After trying many different apps, this is with no doubt the best I found. A bit complex to get used to it whole potential but it's worth it!

Budgeting made easy. Very easy to use app. Easy to input information on daily expenses. I work on my pay period of every 2 weeks - very happy to have an app that will work a budget on a 2 week period.

Positicie. I've been looking for a free app like this for a long time. It ticks every box . I like the fact that there are so many options available to completely customize the way you enter information, also the battery representation of your funds is very handy . 10/10 will definitely be purchasing the full version

Very handy. This is a very hand app for tracking daily spending. Easy to use and the ability to set up vendors and categories is helpful. Since using it I have been able to identify my personal expense patterns and I'm now at the point where I'm setting up budgets. Recommended.

Excellent app.. Don't pay attention to the users who say it's not wortwhile buying. It does exactly what it says. I have used it for a while, never crashed. You can also delete categories & subcategories through the Settings- you need to hold then slide your finger slightly to the right & red 'delete' button will come up. Neat! Well deserved 5 stars!

Paid for upgrade, lost all data, poor customer service. Was upgrading phones and wanted to ensure I did not lose any data from several years of using the lite version. Upgraded to Pro and subscribed for the synch subscription. Was charged for both. Nothing transferred to the new phone when I logged in but was still available on my old phone. When I contacted the support team I was told to “airdrop” the information which resulted in all receipts that had been saved being lost. Ended up being charged for an upgrade and synch and lost several years of data. The iXpenseIt team took no responsibility for charges and told me to “take it up with the Apple”. After multiple back and forths trying to understand where the data had gone and being promised a technician would call iXpenseIt simply stopped responding. The lite version was fine for basic expense recordings but the app had multiple bugs and the reports were useless. The one thing that was handy was the ability to scan and record receipts but in order to save this you need to subscribe. This would be fine if that actually was the case, but their support seem to have no idea where this data is. Do not rely on this for anything important and don’t expect any help once they have your money.

Good but a bit tricky. I'm not a money minded person, so this app is really helpful for me. My only (small) criticism is I find it a little hard to know what I can do with the app. I think some sort of intro tour would be really helpful for someone dumb like me :p

iXpenseIt Lite. Amazing app for managing a budget. By entering your daily expenses you can see where you stand vs. your overall budget. Can pick category and see what you spend on. This can be shown in various graphs. I love this the most for my travels. Keeps me on my toes while shopping :-)

Awesome!. Whenever I feel like I am spending too much money and wonder where the black hole is, I track my spending for a week. It is fantastic !! Really easy to use.

Great app. Easy to record data, can set up reoccurring expenses. Would like to be able to separate work and personal credit cards more easily is the only change I would like. Also app has easy export function so you put all into spreadsheets.

Excellent. Keeps data entry to a minimum, very customisable, tracks everything I want to know about. Would have liked to know UP FRONT that it has a limit of 200 records but will part with the $5.49 for the full version as I've found it very handy.

Great and simple.. Has every thing you need and is simple and easy to use. Only four stars because I would like to see improvements in the visualization of the pie charts as well as being able to see expenses AND income represented on the same graph.

i like the flexibility. thankfully i havent had it crash and i quite like the updated version - BUT the battery icon keeps saying I'm pretty rich - at full even - even tho I have $0.87 to spend per day after I've paid for rent, food, bills etc. LOL!!! Otherwise the app takes a while to learn but is pretty extensive and very useful if you have 3 jobs and earn different amounts each week. You can also create new categories for expenditure so if your lifestyle doesnt fit into some predetermined expenses bracket it works.

Excellent expense tracking tool. If you want to get a handle on the cash that disappears from your wallet - apparently, this is the app you need. It's excellent - can remind you to add your expenses.

Good app. Ive tried a couple of budget ones and this one is pretty good. Does everything you want, it can be a little confusing to begin with though. But once you get going it's great!

Awesome app! :). Its good. Perhaps one thing to add. We all have fixed expenses such as rent and phone bills. If it is possible, then its easier for us to know how the specific amount of how much we need to spend :) its just a suggestion. I dont mind purchase this app if that was in. Good. I used to have my personal budget on an excel spreadsheet on my home comp, I was rarely on it everyday and often lost track. This app is so quick and easy to use and I can use it anywhere I spend money. It has the perfect amount of detail/categories and everything can be customized :)

Doesn't transfer info from lite to full version. Loved this app at first but noticed that I couldn't set a limit for each item like with other budgetting apps. Also, no calculator for adding up different incomes and you can't add one off payments to the regular budget. What really frustrated me was that it DID NOT post the info from the lite version to the full version, not even after I deleted all entries with photos of receipts (this is a known problem- nut only after you realise a problem in the first place). And it wouldn't connect to my computer's wi-fi at all. The suggestions from support staff did not help at all. Don't bother with the lite version.

Pen and paper would be better than this app. Tried to log in with my phone and said my sign in was wrong. Selected forgot password, app said an email was sent to reset. 10 minutes, and 3 requests later, still no password reset email. Decided to send them feedback from within the app about the issue. Typed it all up and the message wouldn’t send. Find another alternative. Even pen and paper would trump this app!

Works great.. I have been searching for something like this for a long time. It is free, with the option of an upgrade, it is fast, and it is professional enough that it is fully customizable. Many financial apps only allow you to use their accounts, etc, and tone down the accounting lingo and likewise the actual process of double entry accounting. This doesn't do that. The double entry process is still clear and balances can be checked against each other. Great app, and would certainly consider buying/trialling an app by the same people for a computer.

Limited to 10 records unless you buy full app. An app called "Mybudget" is completely free and they distribute the source code as well, so although it maybe paired down it might just catch up just like microsoft office and the openoffice movement. Have to sit down and try both of them out.

Transfer function locks up. This has been a great app, but suddenly today the Transfer function locks up the app! What happened???

For my purposes, it's great!. Wish there were custom categories, but it's easy and fast to track expenses and revenue.

Everything you need!. Everything you need to finally do a sound management of your money! With the budget functions I can know exactly what my balances are going to be at a certain date in the future based on my recurrent expenses. This helps know how much I can save or how much I can afford to spend on something. This is a must! I couldn’t do without it now.

What a let down!. I love the app the first day I use it. Everyday after that, it keeps crashing. As soon as I open the app, it freezes and a couple of seconds later it shutdown on its own. I think it has great potential if I could actually use it. Too bad.

Just what I need!. Ok for me this is a great app. It does everything that it says, there are only a few things I wish it had...and a couple problems that need fixn. Wish List: 1. Multiple Budgets (Detailed and Simple) - This would be good so I can keep my bank and credit budgets separate. 2. You should be able to create custom categories from the Budget section. I Shouldn't have to add a transaction to be able to create categories for them. Problems: 1. The App randomly crashes just like most apps/games out there. The iPhone doesn’t have much memory and we are obviously running out. 2. There is a bug that happens randomly when I click on the budget section. Instead of two tabs that say “Simple” and “Detailed”, there is “Favorites” and “More”. Clicking either of the second pair does nothing and seems to lock up the app. Closing the app and restarting fixes the problem. Everyone should check out this lite version and I would recommend buying this app if you wish to have total control of your money and start saving.

Can't import CSV files. The address the app gives me to input into my browser doesn't work. Can't connect. And there is no help on the issue. As if its just supposed to work. I'm connected to the same (only) wifi network and I get nothing. Moving to another app.

Crashes constantly. Do NOT PAY for this app!!!!!. I've been using this app since 2011 and although tedious to enter every penny, it's a great way to track where your money goes. The paid version is completely customizable. Unfortunately since Sept 2015, it keeps crashing when I'm going from screen to screen within the app. I first contacted the support team in Oct 2015 and they said they're looking into it. Nothing changed so in Dec 2015 I emailed again with the same issue. They said they were aiming for Dec/ early 2016 but it's now July 2016 and nothing has improved. Don't waste your money. After years of data entering you too may be ridiculously disappointed.

Almost Perfect. Would be 5 stars if you could roll over unused money in each default budget category into subsequent months. This version still just resets the amounts each month. I want budgets for things like gifts, electronics,etc to accrue over the year. The lack of this feature is the only reason I'm using a different (mostly inferior) budget app. Implement the ability for unused budget money to add up over subsequent months and ill buy the full version in an instant.

Good app but have concerns.. I love the app! It's well designed and is great for tracking and managing finances. My concern is that it hasn't been updated in over a year. Apparently, it hasn't even been updated for ios9. Worried that over time it'll get glitchy and no one will be there to fix it. Until I see an update I can't afford to keep my household finances loaded in here for fear that I might lose it all. Hope the developers update it. It really is a very good app.

Wow, good stuff. As a CA I'm always looking for programs that really work for me and my customers when it comes to tracking basic sales and expenses. This one was far the greatest and easiest I've found for free I wouldn't hesitate to purchase the full version for $2.00. Lots of easy customization was able to basically scale it down to a simple accounting chart of accounts with a basic income account and basic expense accounts. Only wish I can save my customization so that I can actually transfer a copy of my template over to my customers ix app, rather than have to re-create it all over again.

Awesome App!!. I am an extremely busy person. This app is a very quick and precise way of keeping me on track!!! I love the ability to customize a budget and to separate my different banking accounts. I can't say enough how this app is very helpful and beneficial for my needs. Aptly named, can't deal with income.. I'm giving it 3 stars, as the app can't handle variable income. Sure, you can fool it by entering negative expenses, but this throws off all of the useful charting capabilities that were one of the major draws of the app. As a person with a two jobs, one of which is tipped, this lack makes me glad I tried out the free version first. I'll be using something else. (Were this fixed, however, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, and give it 5 stars to boot!)

Good but complicated. The features on this app are incredible, but it's too much for me. I didn't spend too long with it because my brain exploded. My finances are already hard enough to wrap my head around and I just need a simpler app. Otherwise I'd buy it in a second.

Very useful and complete (even the free version). Been using this app for about a year now. Use it to track expenses at work. Very simple to use and quite comprehensive. And the free version is still enough for me. I still haven't got over the limit of free inputs. But when I do, I think I will upgrade to the paid version.

Have not tested everything yet, but.... Seems to be one of a few apps thought through, easy to use while widely customizable, the only problem encountered so far, no currencies recalculation - does not work. But I will be upgrading to full version for sure!

Smith. I'm a stay at home mom and our family really tries to stick to the budget! It was difficult to find the time to sit and write down our expenses daily. With this app. I can input our expenses as they are happening! This has made my life so much easier. Although, You must first take the time to sit down and figure out the app; but once you do it is very easy!

Great beginner budgeting app. App is perfect for visual of how your expenditures break down and as a guide for people who need to keep track of budgeting. I also like the ability to Adjust your categories. Just make sure that you stay disciplined on entering data and it will do the rest for you. Would highly recommend it.

Good, but could use a few features.. Well, I think I like it for my basic needs, much like "Lose It!", I use this just to keep track of what I am spending, and find that doing so helps me spend less. My biggest gripe, and it may be my lack of finding it, but on normal occasion I make a lot of the same purchases. How can I select a past item, and just have it duplicate it for the current day? Not a "recurring" record, but an exact duplicate of the coffee I bought on Tuesday??

Beware - does not give you 50 expense records. This seems lile a well-desiged app with great utility, at least I might imagine the full version is. This lite version promised 50 expense records allowing one to try it out and decide. Unfortunately, it only gave me 13 expense records - far less than advertised. I find this deception unacceptable and leaves me with a bad feeling. 2 stars for what seems to perhaps be an interesting app but can't give more since I was lied to. Go ahead and try but don't expect to get 50 records.

Really really really useful.... I'm 19 and never thought I would need something like this. But since I moved out and live with my girlfriend now, I had trouble remembering how much money I had left after bills and other expenses. But now it's all so easy! I feel so relieved every minute of my life now. I know what I spent, where, why and how much!! Only crashes a little...but what doesn't right? =D 

Great App. This is a great app for keeping up with where all your money is going. It did take me a few minutes to figure everything out and get it set up but the effort is worth it. Now I not only know where my money is spent but how much is left in my budget as well as what percentage of my budget is going towards each category.

Can't say enough good things. This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. I love that you can get reports from all different points of view (account or category or vendor, etc). With just a few clicks, I can see where I am in meeting my medical insurance deductible, for example. Contrary to what others have said, I found this app very intuitive and easy to use. Its flexibility is inspired.

BEST Expense App!. This App is user friendly, has customizable, flexible settings and I'm able to see various charts with the information I pick (also custom) so I can see exactly where my money is spent! They pretty much thought of everything when they made this. It's wonderful! Suggestions for updates: more icons such as a camera and a tennis ball ;). Also ability to add deposits to budget more readily. THANKS!!

Great, but wish you could add income. This app is perfect for the way I track my spending. Although I realize this is a budget app, our spending/budgeting is based off one's income. I am not on a set income, and my budget can change from week to week. Therefore it would be extremely useful to simply be able to add an amount to my income when needed. Others seem to feel the same way - maybe we can look forward to an update to include this feature?!

Liked it so much I bought the paid app!. I really appreciate developers who post "lite" versions for free. You really get to test-drive the app and see if it suits your needs. I used the free app for a week and knew this was a winner! This app is easy to use and can be built with a simple budget all the way to multiple budgets. I use the detailed budget to keep track of my monthly household expenses. Lots of categories plus it easy to add more. Really like all the charts and reports so I can see at a glance where my money is going. Can send reports as PDF to my email and can back-up or restore data right from the app. This app is a two thumbs up for me!

Where have you been all my life?. I have searched and searched for an app like this. I love that I can put in all of my bills and income for the month and it doesn't reflect in the balance until that day. I soooo highly recomend this app. And it's FREE, you can't go wrong!

Great tool!. This really helps my husband and I keep track of our spending. It holds us accountable for each purchase along the way rather than getting a shocking credit card bill once a month. I would appreciate more options for the business and personal - like maybe a joint account option verses personal account but otherwise we like it. I know it's free so it's not really a complaint, but it would certainly be a welcome addition!

Good App, needs support. I particularly like how the App allows me to get reports daily of Inflows vs Outflows for the month...helps me not spend more than I have / compare month to month. BUT, the cash flow report used to be simpler, now it only shows income & expense totals separately, not the final net or loss math. Why change perfectly good functions. Need tech support to help us iron out the changes made through (unnecessary) updates.

Crash. I have an iPod Touch, version 3.1.3 and I recently updated to the new version of this application. However, it is crashing every time I try to open the application. An updated version that works across all iPod versions would be extremely helpful to myself and others who are in the same situation. I have enjoyed your product greatly and I am very disappointed that it will no longer function on my iPod Touch anymore. I hope that you release a new update to fix this error soon.

Love it. I love using iXpenseIt to keep track of my expenses. It's a lot simpler to use than PocketMoney, and the graphs are a nice touch. A few comments, though: I wish the bar graph would scale to fit on the screen better; I wish the number pad looked more native; and I wish that fields like Vendor had autocomplete. All in all, I love using this app for keeping track of my spending.

The best budget app I've seen. I downloaded four different apps for budgeting at the same time to see which I would like best. This app is by far the most mapped out and detailed of them all. It's user friendly and and easy to use. I deleted all the other apps; I love this one. My only regret is that I didn't buy the full version, which I'm about to do now!

Good so far, still wondering about upgrade price. It seems fairly intuitive and useful. It is still abit early to tell. I wish they offered a chance to upgrade to the next version with a price for the more pro version listed. I have been looking for something to do my income and expense tracking and this is the best one I have found so far.

What an iPhone app should look like. My only concern Before I buy the full version, wifi 2-way sync. I don't back up with iTunes it takes to long with all the apps I got . Also u can't restore data if an update failed on the app, with iTunes backup unless your restore your whole phone againg.

Awesome. Dope application. Its basically and accounting program. Excellent for tracking your income and expenses. It's really helped me organize my financial goals and obligations. Only force closed once in 30 days. No biggie. The only thing stopping me from rating it 5 stars is that it doesn't display your running balance for individual accounts. It shows your overall cash flow for the period(net gain or loss) but not the cash flow of each individual category(cash, credit card, checking acct, etc). Still a great app though!

Great. I have only had this app a couple days and I already see how useful this tool is. I can be a little off with money so this helps me to organize where all my money is going (and not going) when. I will definitely be upgrading. Not rating 5 stars only because it's been such abort time.

I give iXpense lite five stars for a free budget tracking app. I've compared several of these apps and this one is by far the most helpful for someone as time and organizationally challenged as I. Not to mention it has a beautiful layout, helpful for a visual person like me to be excited about punching numbers.

Great app w/multiple currencies & accts. I am in Europe traveling for a month, part for work, part vacation. Being in multiple countries I loved iExpenseIt ability to easily record different currencies, and also tell whether it was work/personal and cash/credit; fantastic! Then the ability to email a report! It was so simple and made keeping track of my expenses a breeze! Thank you for such a great app!

I need help with the set up!!. Had difficult figuring out the set up. I put 3 monthly bills in & I set them to stop in one year. I went to put the 4th & it won't let me unless I upgrade!!! No way I've used 200 scores yet. Why is it doing this!!?? I'm not paying for the full version until I know I like the app.

Excellent App: Suggestions for "Unbeatable App". I have tried at least six different expense apps, and this user interface is absolutely the best. I'm currently using the Lite version, but I will buy the paid app. The are a few items that other expense apps offer that this does not, and the addition of these items would make an unbeatable app. The interface of this app outweighs those other options, which is why I choose this app, but it can certainly be even better (so, the 4 stars). First, having the accounts match actual bank accounts would be very helpful, so that I can start with an actual ACCOUNT BALANCE rather than just a Budget Balance. It would be nice to have a "Savings Account", and the ability to transfer between accounts. Finally, reports could include charts of: 1. Expenses/Income 2. Savings/Income

Love it!. I'm using the lite version and so far I'm very impressed. Two things I'd like to see added before I buy it... Split transactions and the option to crop the image and I'd prefer the image to look like a document rather than an image. Other than those two items, very nice app. Easy 4 stars. By the way stay away from an app called "receipts". It's buggy, ugly, and you never hear from support.

Great expense tracker app!. I tried many apps to track my expenses and this is one of the easiest and detailed app. I also like where you can have the option to send a back up to your email and print pdf of your expenses which is helpful so you can track expenses every month. Apart from all of this there are many more features on this app. Try the lite version and you will know what I'm talking about.

Functional. With a little invested time to learn the links, fix categories and other user preferences, I can see the worth of the app for what I need - the daily reminder to put entries, the shortcuts it learns from previous entries and password function to secure access. Thanks for keeping the Lite version usable unlike other Free apps that can't be sampled properly!

Clarity!. I prefer to be vague about my finances, but that doesn't behoove me. This app makes it so easy to be clear. I was using Quicken (for about 10 years) but I could never get the category totals to be accurate. The only thing I can't figure out how to do is to split one transaction into more than one category (e.g., one transaction at a grocery store, but $50 on groceries, $20 on toiletries, $10 on household items, etc). Otherwise this is a great app which provides helpful reports & visuals that provide me with clarity whenever I want it.

Upgrade. Update: Version 3.0.6 works great now. Even allows more records. I use both paid and lite version. One for personal use and one for travel reimbursement. But the recent update to version 3.0.5 works on the paid version but the lite version would not open. It works great again after upgrading my OS. It could be that the new iAd needs the new OS.

Great app. I have never had problems with this app. It works great for a small business or personal finances! It's like having a great accountant that you don't have to pay. And the best part is that it reminds you to enter expenses everyday. Allows you to track your spending. Have nothing bad to say about this app. GREAT APP!

Just what I was looking for. Something simple yet complete. Just add the stuff in and it gives me out a graph. And the categories aren't too complicated and you have total control of them - so you can delete categories that you don't actually use. Can also set a monetary currency if you're abroad. Convenient - will probably end up buying the full version. And entering it as a transaction.

Still too many steps.. To streamline entries, I'd like to set photo as a default. Now, it takes 4 steps to take a photo, and two more steps to get back to start entries. After the photo, I'd like to throw away my receipt and enter the values while reading from the photographed receipt. Preferably half the screen photo and the other half entry categories. Both halves scrollable. Please also add a better photo solution. The one Evernote uses would be good. Other than that, thank you for a great app that I have used a lot.

Needs update. This is a great application minus a few problems. The main problem is this app crashes too often. It is also rather slow compared to other budget/expense apps, especially the initial loading each time you open the app. It would be a great addition to be able to adjust monthly income and to enter income on a weekly/daily basis as opposed to just monthly. If this app had less lag time and no crashes, I would buy the $4.99 full version in a heartbeat. Until those issues are addressed, I'll be shopping around.

Thanks!. I have been using this app for about 5 months now. I have been very satisfied. I use this app primarily as a short term storage as I have a more in depth program on excel on a laptop. But I can update from this app to that program quite well. You will need to get the pro version if you want to have many entries and a running account. On short? It's free! At least the lite version is and it let's you really check out the program before a purchase.

Just what I was looking for.... Can use it however you want from uber expense tracking to just a handy list of daily expenses. I use it for business and track expenses by type and customer and Lao snap images of receipts. Would recommend you try the free version then only upgrade to those elements you need...

Best App for budgeting ever!!!. I've always had problems budgeting money. I between my work, school, and my son, I never had time to sit down and write out a budget. With this program, I am able to set up reoccurring payments, adjust my income whenever necessary, and fully customize every little thing to fit my needs! I can finally see where all of my money is going, and cut down on a lot of unnecessary spending.

Seems nice, but it needs to connect to my bank, mvelopes, quicken. What I need is a program like this that also syncs with my bank, or a program such as Mvelopes (which is opening up their API for iphone devs, I hear). This app would be good for me to manage a portion of my budget, but I need more power for the full budget between my wife and I. Speaking of which, I would want my wife and I to be able to work from the same account data.

I decided what I needed in an app, and this was it. One reviewer mentioned s/he was locked out after 100 transactions. I hope hers was a fluke. While I've encountered no problems, it boar repeating.

Crash. And no update to fix the problem for more than a day. Ok I understand when it crashes after the update. People make mistake. However, the response to all these complaints takes this long? I had been using this app. for about a month and I am proud of myself that I didn't buy it yet(using free one now and was going to buy it next week). No thanks to this app anymore I would just go find myself a better one that I can use without waiting for days.

Very good expense tracker. If you spend a bit of time setting it up for the type of spending you do then it can be a great tool for tracking where your money goes. It's quick to enter things, and the ability to save photos of receipts within the app is a huge plus. I will continue to use and probably pay for the full version.

Suggestions. You guys should make it so we can enter how much we have in our account, as well as our budget, so that way we are simultaneously keeping track of purchases, while keeping our budget. Also, like Patrice Nicole said, you should make it so we can enter income. Great app! Will buy the full version!

Nice App. I really like this app for tracking expenses. It works well and is easy to use. However, I decided not to purchase the full version because I really wanted an app that could not just help me track my expenses, but could also help me keep up to date on my account balances. I found another app that allows me to do just what I need and have purchased it. I would highly recommend this app.

Totally awesome. Only been using this for 2 days but already what a help. Was writing all my purchases down in a little notebook which was annoying as had to copy then into my laptop then excel it. Love that there are multiple currencies avail as i travel a lot, plus all the subcategories let me really pinpoint my purchases. Does some crash randomly though. Still--so grateful for it already.
