Dont buy!?!?!??!!! B. Fix the scroll speed for iOS system. It doesn't show up. Cant email support because it all in Chinese so plz have a English version for App support! Apparently they dont want anyone to get ahold of them. Don't waste your money on this app

Replace that tired LCD belt buckle.... ...and get this app. for a fraction of the price, you can turn your $300 iPhone into a ghettofied LCD belt buckle. you know... the ones they sell at your local mall with all the other bling bling stuff. now you can scroll your phone number in the club for all those ladies you're going to pick up. seriously though. this is a great little app. it would be really cool if you could somehow put a bunch of iPhones together to make a long marque but that's probably in the next version. i love this app!!! get it, you will find it useful for something, someday.. maybe. =)

Just What The Doctor Ordered!!!. This is by far one of the coolest apps out there. You can use it in so many different creative ways. I'm absolutely speechless. Hats off to the developer... Great job!!!

Fun app to have.... I had the free version until I bought this one. I like it. Most people think I'm a geek for using it, but who cares. You can choose any color of the rainbow, there are shapes available to add to your text and there are different styles of text. You can send a visual message to people across the room. It's a fun app. to own.

Must have.... This is being reviewed as a cool little gimmicky toy...I'm gonna take the fun out of it and call it an essential tool. I could see this being packaged with smartphones some day. This is text messaging for live environments where speaking is unavailable, either because they're too loud (bars, worksites) or quiet (meetings, classes, movies). Text messaging is to calling as this is to speaking...sometimes it's just more appropriate and effective. The pay version is well beyond the free one...the faster scrolling makes all the difference. One suggestion to developers...add an "update" to Banner Free that lets those users know this version exists. I just found it by accident.

Strange Characters. How do you get the "heart" into a banner string? Can you get other characters like a "diamond" "space" or "club"? This app appears to have no support at this time!

Great App. Useful app. I like how the creater made this very detailed! I'm wondering tho.. is there any way to add symbols? (like the heart that was set on the banner before) It would be awsome if you could add in hearts or stars.. all in all, definitely worth the 99 cents

Still fun to play with. I can't believe they are still improving this app. I got it as a fun app when I first bought my iPhone. Now its still fun to play with and they keep making it better.

Best in the dark. The best tool to show people your affection/ emotion in the dark...

Gets better and better!. I have to say I'm impressed. I requested an enhancement to this app and never really expected anything to come of it. But now, it's part of the new version! Many thanks to the developer for his work on this app. It's a total blast, especially at parties.

I like it!!. This is well worth downloading and do yourself a favor and splurge by spening the $1 to get the speed control as well as color choices you will sorely miss in the freebee version, Thanks to reviewer Cockoski ( sorry if spelled wrong) he has given easy instructions on adding symbols like ♥ as well as others from Japaneese keyboard, Have fun!!

Great update from the free version!. Title says it. Next update should have the ability to change the color of the text and background! If it has it now, it's not obvious to me.

Still the Best Banner on iTunes!. I was impressed with the free version of this app. The latest update just blows the free version out of the water. It's great for getting your message across at board meetings or flirting with the woman across the room. ;-). This app is easy to use. No other banner app comes close to this one.

how do i add the HEART symbol???. how do i add a HEART symbol like the one in the example? also, has anyone been able to move the typing cursor IN FRONT of the heart symbol in the default 2nd line? no matter what i do, i can't move the cursor past the heart.... (BUG?) i don't want to backspace/delete the heart, for fear i will lose that symbol forever....

A developer that listens!. Banner Free was the first app I downloaded. I have had a blast with it. Reviews of Banner Free offered many suggestions to the app developer and it seems that most have been incorporated in this new paid version. He (she?) deserves to be rewarded for responsiveness and, frankly, for a neat little FUN app! Way to go!!!!

Excellent app but.... There's an annoying bug where the text edit magnifier either freezes, won't move with your finger or won't show up at all. Then to edit text at the beginning of the message you either have to backspace and retype from the mistake on or clear the box and start over. But other than that glitch, this is a fun app that I didn't hesitate to buy after trying out the free version and seeing how many more features the paid version had. Four stars with the text bug and five stars once it's fixed.

Multiple colors. Great app but it could use a multiple color upgrade having 2-5 colors in one word or sentance would be great

Tons of Fun and Really Useful!!. This app works perfectly. I can annoy people with it, use it when I don't really feel like talking, etc. I've encountered a few small bugs, but it's nothing really troublesome. Also, what would be nice is maybe showing a message backwards so you can show it to someone in a mirror. Hopefully these things will be fixed in the next update =)

mhchopper4. My first paid app... and I love it. Very nice app, the addition of the scroll speed is the big 1-up over the free app, but all the extra options make it well worth the $1. One thing it's missing is the ability to scroll properly based on the iPhone's orientation. Right now it only scrolls so that it's readable with the volume buttons down. Might save somebody from that hot one in the bar getting away cuz they walked off laughing at your upside-down phone #. Making it orient itself using the built-in motion sensors would make this a perfect app.

Please change icon color!. Excellent app, great display. Only one drawback: Icon color too ugly. Can't understand why you'd give the free version a better looking one. Consider re-designing icon altogether.

Awesome App. I've had this on my itouch since I 1st got it. It is well written app, it's fun, and it's free! I have used it at events, concerts, webcasts. I liked it so much that I bought the paid version. I just love it.

This App is GREAT for flirting with women!. I like this app A LOT [notice that's 2 words] !¡!¡ It's crazy how women respond to my flirts [tip: the scroll speed should be pretty fast: no one likes to wait to read]. My complaint is that the Twitter timeline mode doesn't work for me for some reason [all I've ever gotten is some error message], but the Twitter search mode does work (but that's not as fun as having the timeline scroll). Please fix this. The mirror mode id a cute idea, which I can see being good for flirting. Also, scrolling [fast] "Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night" on the dance floor while that song is playing is a BLAST! Everyone around gets a KICK out of it! I recommend refraining from the blink mode. It's just plain undesireable. This is even cool for communicating little emergencies (YOUR DRESS IS IN THE DOOR, or FLAT TIRE) to a driver. Don't bother with the free app! Buy this one!

Great for the car. The mirror mode is great when someone cuts you off in traffic. Dangerous fun. They get super Angry and in LA that can get you shot by the gang scum

Will you ever fix the update?. Since ios 14.2 came out the banner app doesn’t work anymore. I love this app! Been using it since iphone 4s thanks for the updates please update this piece of beauty 😃

Great Apps. For those that need help with Heart symbols. You need to install the Japanse keyboard. Go to Settings, International, Keyboards, Japnese, and turn on both Qwerty and Kana. Run Banner. Edit your Message. There should be a globe next to your space bar, click on globe till you see a Numpad pattern on your screen with Japanese characters in it. Once you see the Number pad display with Japanese characters in it, hit the "ABC" till you see actual numbers in the number pad. The number one should have 3 symbols below the number. To enter heart for example. hit number "1" twice, it should popup a menu, select the "Right Arrow," it should expand a menu where you can select a page of symbols such as an umbrella, heart, etc. Good luck. My wish list, be able to turn my banner into screen saver so when my iphone is locked (auto lock in 5 mins) it would still display my banner. I can turn off auto lock in settings, but it will expose my data if somebody would walk away with my iphone.

Great Little App!. This Banner program does exactly what it says it does - allows you to make a banner that scrolls across your iPod and repeats as long as you want it to. The color and style can be changed, and there are plenty of characters to use to spruce up your banner. I learned about this from a German friend during a recent business trip, but my wife saw it and she just had to have it. Its a lot of fun and a great conversation starter. Works well when you are trying to get attention of the waitress or waiter, too. Also, at $0.99, it is a great value. Don R.

5 . I should have got this app along time ago. Now i can tell people to screw off when they cut me off on the freeway or tell someone there tire is flat while driving down the road. Im trying to find more uses. Wish it worked vertical and also use as a screen saver would be cool.

Car to Car. Always wanted to "chat" car to car... now you can!! love the iPod banner great for a party to display what's playing from a distance.

THIS IS SO COOL!!!!. I could write a swear and show it to my little brother and when he goes and tells, i just erase it and i don't get in trouble!!!!!

BEAST APP. This is app is 100 tines better thab Banner Free. In this app you can change color, shape, add multiple messages, there is a lot longer message length, and there is a blink feature that allows your message to blink as it scrolls across the screen. If you only have a dollar left to spend in the app store like i did, then get this app. You wont regret it.

Now!. This app is cool. But most of the time it doesn't correspond to your finger and movements. Freezes up alot, double tapping to get to the message input screen mostly never works. Input messages sometimes dissapear and yes, it freezes there aswell. Please update these issues as I have had this app installed since it came out and never use it because of the freezing!

Sometimes. Changing the setting Is difficult cause the setting page is hard to use. Also sometimes my messages dissapear and I have to restart my iPod.

Amazing. I love this app. I, too, am glad that the developer actually listened to the buyers. I actually took the first version off my phone because it scrolled so slowly. This is perfect. This new version is fun and flexible. Well worth $0.99!

Sweet app. I love this app, but I wish it had a feature where it would scroll with my iPod when its in a vertical stance so that it would look sweet when it's docked upright in my car. If it's not difficult to make an update for that I would use this app sooooooo much more. Either way it's worth the great low price.

Meh. 5 stars.*. Like..it gets boring really fast. This is a good app to use a school - almost like passing a note ;) *Not really worth .99 though. Like, it's okay, but not the best.

please update. love the app but it would be so much better if I could manipulate the individual pixels to draw pictures or other characters. make it like a light bright!

Meh. Doesn't really hold much improvement from the lite version. the icons don't matter because i could've just copy and pasted them. the different designs for the scrollable text look horrible and it's just plain the same thing as the lite version with a few extras. is it good? yes. is it worth $1? no

Please change the card signs. I used to be able to display "I [heart] you" but the heart is now within a card which makes no sense. It does not even display well. Please change it back to the way it used to be.

One of my favorites. I'm writing this review in English instead of Japanese so other people can understand me. Before I used this application, I used Banner Free. This adds speed control, more messages, different shaped lights, and you can make a custom color for lights. It can display messages in Japanese and Roman characters and this is very useful.

Pretty good. I like this app. Great fir relating messages in school or across the room in otherboublic places when it is just not an option to talk. I think it's nice with the color and speed options. Good job with this one!!!!!!!

Stick with free version.. I can't get any of the color signs such as the hearts, smiling faces etc to show on banner. Am I doing something wrong? It shouldn't be difficult creating a banner. Should have stuck with the free version.

Just Plain Fun. This app is just plain fun. I've sent messages to others at live concerts, I've applauded the Avs for their scores (Denver), and I've sent lovely messages to my wife. Works fine and just plain fun. ME2

Great! But. This is a fantastic icebreaker app! I use it @ parties all the time when the music is 2 loud 4 ppl 2 hear u! But, in future updates, could we please have the symbols move or blink on their own instead of the entire message? For example a beating heart or a ringing telephone? That would b totally awesome! Cool & Fun..but...1.2 is far better. Love this app lots of fun and laughs, but badly needs lots more colours, and different font sizes..Ver 2.0 Now please...... Banner 1.2 a worthy upgrade, fixes most of the problems and adds a few new ideas..well done and thanks

Needs an update. OK, so for my daft punk helmet, i am making the led text with my ipod yah i know, im cheap. it is perfect for the helmet the has the words like this : I LIKE MY IPOD : and its scrolling and stuff but for the other one, i want it so the ipod is the regular way not to the side so lets say i wanted it to be like I, but it would turn out H when i make it the way i want it to be, it is an awesome app but it need the update that makes it the regular way

Other wise a 5 star. I don't know if anyone experience this but some time if you are in the edit screen (setting) you can't scroll down or if you are down, back up. Half way it would jump back to the top of screen

It's awesome. Use it all the time. I attach it to the front of my belt for it to look like a belt buckle. Way way way way better than the free one. Deff in my top 3. All I'd change is the scrolling thing mentioned below. And add a few more preset colors would be nice. Otherwise, it's a great app. 6/5 stars

Just what I asked for!. Sorry, I don't have time to give everyone the exact translation of the Japanese description, but I have thoroughly tested both the free and paid versions of the app so I help this description helps: - Has a real preferences interface - Scroll Speed slider and 6 dot matrix styles (including large, small, squares, hearts, lines and static) - Hue/Saturation/Brightness colour sliders, and 6 preset colours - Save and switch between up to 5 messages, or select multiple messages to display in order All in all, worth much more than the $.99 I paid for it.

Infinitely more useful and fun than the free version.. The free version ("Banner Lite") was just a curiosity. It scrolled at a single speed and had no other options. This full version allows all kinds of customization: colours, scroll speed, double-tap config to prevent accidental editing while displaying, and five stored messages. Well, well worth the $0.99!

Upside down. Banner displays upside down on my iPad. My Bluetooth keyboard case is not reversible. The keyboard would be up in the air. Please fix.

Need more colors and shapes. 

Readme.txt. This app would be a flawless 10 / 5 if it had a better icon (current one is ugly to be honest) and a delay slider bar for sure!

Nifty fun. Dare I say, a well-made banner app such as this one is a must for the iPod. IMO, the best one out there.

Get Marquee instead. This app isn't bad but try marquee for free first. It does all the same stuff as banner.

Not Good Save Your Dough. Does not repeat simple message (like HELP), surprisingly difficult to use, poor color choices. Incessant offers to buy more dumb stuff from developer. Stick with the free one
