Issues with signing in. I’m not able to register or sign in and it’s been like this for the past month

Good concept. The concept is good, but the execution could be better. I put my preferences to 20 miles but I’m only seeing people like 300 miles away. Maybe because there isn’t enough people within 20 miles from me? I don’t know.

App doesn’t fit on screen?. Sure iPhone SE is not a model a lot of people use, but having the app not made for all iPhone is just bad design. I can’t even go past the initial stages because the continue button is blocked by the selection whether I wanna make friends or make friends + date. Can’t rate an app high when I cannot even test the basic functionality of it 🤷

Profile doesn’t update. When I try to add an about me or a third question, it does not update :( also, there’s a lot of people lying about their race who fetishize Asian people

A niche app that needs better location tracking. I’m happy that there is an app that is built for the Asian American community, last app that I can remember is East Meet East before it became a camcorder site. However, it is absolutely bonkers that all the users I am seeing on this are hundreds of miles away! Hopefully it will get better when the app gets more users but it’s ridiculous that even when my preferences are set at 20-30 miles I will get people 1400 miles away!!!

Signing in issue. Accidentally left the app while making the account. Now it won’t take my number anymore??????

Curious. I’m really happy to have gotten the message that the app is here! However is this app specifically for asian people or can anyone outside the community join as well??

it could be better. has potential.. Maybe it’s because I’m used to apps like bumble but I’m not a big fan of the UI. Also filtering doesn’t work, so even tho I filter to only people near me it gives me people from far away. I wish it was a bit more like bumble where if there isn’t any people in the filtered specifics you put it would tell you. Another thing is notifications don’t really work in the app. When somebody texts me I don’t get it till I open the app the next day. I got this app when it came out, so I know they are still making improvements but I hope that it gets better otherwise I might end up not using it unfortunately.

Love but…. Love the concept of this app but sad there Re so many bugs to deal with. I matched with someone but it doesn’t show and i feel like my likes aren’t going through since the profiles keep reappearing. Also location issues. Luckily the chat room works

can’t even make an account. I’ve deleted this and redownloaded many times but I still get a pop up saying “Oops! We are unable to process your registration at this time. Please try again later. We apologize for any inconvenience.” I have tried later multiple times but still the same pop up.

Buggy Mess. This app is very buggy. You literally cannot update any of the fields on your profile if you already modified it once. Clearly the software engineers are not capable of using UPDATE with their database.

love but…. I wish there was a way to fix the bug when it came to distance bc as much as i love the variety, it breaks my heart to find out they're 100+ miles away 😭 also, im not sure if anyone else is experiencing this, but when i try to change my bio, the preview is showing the old bio i had? so im not sure which bio others can see, if it's the old one or new one

Good Concept, but Needs Improvements. The app has a good concept and a good foundation, but it needs a big improvement when it comes to matching. Nobody can see who likes them until they match. There’s no messaging options available until matches are made. I feel being able to view the profiles of people who like/wave at you, let’s you see for yourself who they are as people. Having no messaging option available until you match with someone and not being able to see who likes you really limits pretty much everything.

Great App. I have had fun on this app and it’s exciting to something catered to the AAPI community. However, the amount of Asians vs. non-Asians I see on the app is about the same, especially as I have swiped more. It would also be cool if you could narrow preferences down to ethnicity. My other complaint is there seems to be a large number of bugs. My preferences aren’t being reflected in the profiles I’m show (people from much farther away are being shown).

Your continue button is broken. Just discover your app! Needs improvement with the buttons especially after selecting your roots, it doesn’t move past selecting your preferences why you would the app for / the “social/ social dating “ part needs to able to continue in order for the app to be successful

Bugs with Sign in/Account info. I like how the app looks, and I think the Asian focus is a nice touch. HOWEVER, the sign in function is broken. I was suddenly signed out and I could not sign back in. The only option to sign in was with my phone number and the SMS one time password could not be verified. I am currently locked out of my account. If there is a server wide issue, I think YUZU management should send an email to all registered users. It’s still the first week of their launch, so I’m gonna refrain from giving them a 1 star.

Already nade new friends and connections, it has potential!!. I saw Yuzu through an Ad on Instagram and it peeked my curiosity here’s what happened. So I’ve already met with a lot of people. If you don’t want to date people, it’s still okay since there are community chats that you can check out and you can turn it off completely and just go for “social”. So far, the people I’ve met were very fun to talk to. Of course there are weirdos from time to time but you can’t really avoid it since it’s the internet haha. Anyways, the app is relatively new and expect bugs. Hopefully they add more community chats and fix the distance filter.

Location issue. Please fix distance settings, I put distance to 20-30 miles and yet it still shows me people 1050 miles away like, why? On dating and on social.

Great concept for new connections!. I love how it has distinctly different experiences for meeting friends versus finding dates! Really cool concept that I’ve not seen elsewhere before.

Wrong location.. It shows me people from different cities as a mile away and a lot of people over 500 miles away. Makes it very unusable.

Can’t register. I cannot get into the app since it keeps saying “We are not able to process your registration at this time. Please try again later.” I’ve tried to register multiple times over the course of a week. None of them have worked. I will review again or delete this once this is solved.

Disappointed that it’s parent company is match group. I really like the idea and concept but I’m not a fan of the fact that it’s parent company is match group. Match group is the parent company of Tinder, and all the other dating apps that I presume is for profit and not for people finding a genuine connection I.e. putting certain eligible matches behind the pay wall. I think that will spill over in this app as well, so I deleted it.

Better than the other apps!. I love the user experience of this app! They have open chat room for different communities to join and interact. I’ve gotten to meet a lot of potential dates this way and the dating pool is so much better.

It's incredible to interact with others who understand the significance of 'sliced fruits', who appreciate the cultural impact of shows like 'Beef' and 'Bling Empire', and who grew up idolizing Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and immersed in anime. Yuzu offers more than just social connections; it provides a sense of belonging. It's a place where shared experiences, like managing high parental expectations, are not just understood but deeply empathized with. The app is user-friendly, making it easy to connect with people across the U.S. who share these common cultural threads. For me, It's more than an app; it's a cultural haven.

Login Screen. Unfortunately, after I input my name and email address, it takes me to the “Create Account” screen and freezes. Not sure if this is the same experience for everyone.

lacks diversity. this app kinda lacks diversity although they included Asian roots from South Asia, the app is only marketed to southeast and East Asians. The concept is still cool though

Good concept, bad management.. It’s a great idea, but the location issues are a joke. I set my locations to be maximum 20 miles within <5 year age gap and the app would often recommend me people 300 miles away outside my age gap. I already updated to the latest version, but the problem persists. Can the app developers please show people only within my parameters and preferences? Also community wise, people also rarely reply back, but that is outside the app developer’s control.

SO COOL. I came to yuzu through an ad I got on Instagram, and ever since the last three days I met some of the coolest people on it. I’ve met someone I think that will hopefully be in my life forever as well as some great people in the community to hangout for brunch, raves and having lots of fun with! And they do a lot to maintain safety and keeping it fun for everyone!

Too many people who just want Asians. A majority of the app is just people who are looking for Asians who aren’t Asian. Specifically females fetishizing Asians and are from complete different backgrounds. Another issue I find with the app is that it’s lacking countries. Specifically Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan is a country in Central Asia that’s filled with Asians. My only issue is with the countries and the fact that the app is being abused by other ethnicities and races for fetishization purposes. Other than that it’s good

Cannot even create account. The signup process has a bug that keeps me from even hitting continue on the “what are you looking for” screen

Unable to Create Account. Was excited to try out the app, but I’m unable to create an account. Each time I attempted to I’m stuck on the creating account page

algorithm doesn’t make sense & userbase. the algorithm doesn’t really take into account the preferences you set, such as distance or age. probably not enough users, but it doesn’t even try to show you the nearest people and instead it seems random. the userbase is also strange. it’s about 30% non-asian people who either claim an origin that clearly doesn’t apply, or who just say “united states”. tired of non-asians infiltrating asian spaces.

UI and overall interface lacking, distance is bugged. Pretty barebones app that's missing alot of features: 1. Setting a distance limit for dating doesn't work, it's bugged. 2. The group chatrooms are meh, I don't get why you can't make your own. 3. Why can't you use gifs or pics in dm's, c'mon it's 2024....

Problem. There is a problem with interface when asking what you are looking for the continue goes over/under the options so can’t press it. I have iPhone SE

cool but some flaws. there was a LOT of underage people there, and pedos. They were talking about illegal gambling to a 13 year old. The unlimited swiping is cool — it gets VERY boring after some time though, and there’s like a 000.1% of getting a match. There’s a lot of non-Asians in the app and people pretending to be Asian. It’s encouraging Americans to be a koreaboo pretty much. Needs moderators in chat, people just talk about whatever they want pretty much. They dropped a photo of a discord link in chat, and told the 13 year old to join it. It was stupid.

Confused. Idk if it’s because my phone is too small but after I put my roots it asked if I want friends or friends and relationship, the continue button is underneath the “friends&Relationship” option so I can’t continue or hit the button

Age filter doesn’t work. For dating and social I want to filter the age and sometimes it works but goes back to default if I reset the app but most of the time it doesn’t save my settings

All good except.... Distance between matches/other users is busted. it'll say like 1 mile away and then we're like hundreds. i'm sure this will be fixed soon though and will update my review when it does!!

More non-Asians than Asians. Seems like an alright socializing/dating app, but roughly half the people aren’t Asian. Some of them even have descriptions fetishizing Asians and thus wanting an Asian partner. Absolutely disgusting.

Can’t make an account. The feature to make an account is BROKEN! Bro??? I cant click if I want casual friendships or friendship + dating because the continue button overlaps the friendship + dating button!

Has Potential!. I’ve been meeting some cool people on here but my main gripe is the distance filter. I put it to be within 20 miles from my location but one of two errors can occur 1) I get people from 1000+ miles outside of my current location 2) the app says that the person is one mile away from me when in reality the person is across the country I love how the app is catered to Asians though! It has come cool features and beyond the distance measurement has some amazing potential to be a great app

You can match with people not seeking dates. I just got matched with someone that was just looking for a friend while I wanted a date. It even tells you which section they swiped right on. And then they give you a cheeky "vibes can change". Talk about an uphill battle trying to skirt the friendzone.

Great app, buggy!. I love the concept and it’s a great app - but the preferences is so buggy! It’s shows people outside your set distance, people younger/older than your age preferences… what’s the point of having these set if it doesn’t work!

Doesn’t work well. I’ve been told it’s a good concept but using an iPhone SE just makes you feel left out. The continue button is stuck inside the Social+Dating selection so you can’t even make it past the sign up part. Hopefully they fix this problem 👍👍.

finally 🙌🏻 been waiting for an app like this. was so hyped to see this app on my tiktok for you page. i’ve always wanted a social app focused on my community, as it can be hard to make new friends in a big city. since the app was recently released, there aren’t a TON of people on it like other apps. however, the community chats are already active with daily convos. super pleased with my experience so far and can’t wait for the space to grow!

It’s either this app or my wifi.. When I was trying to put my pictures on when I was signing up it took FOREVER to load. I tried to see if maybe I needed to just use one picture (I originally put 4 pictures on) but that still didn’t work. I then turned my wifi off and then back on, still didn’t work. I really need this to get fixed.

Sign in issues. App wouldnt let me upload my pictures the first time so I deleted and then redownloaded to try to restart it because I thought it was a glitch. Poor quality. App is slow and froze when uploading photos. Also doesn’t respect distance and age preferences.

I can’t register. Title. At the DOB prompt, there’s an error that it “can’t be completed now”.

Needs improvement.. There’s realistically nothing special about the app in comparison to other dating/social apps. The only thing it consists of is the swiping (R and L) and the “Chatrooms”. Only thing that is different is how you’re able to customize your preferences from finding a romantic partner vs. friends. Profile customization is alright too. But that’s about it that I actually enjoy. The app feels like a “draft” of something that has potential. I understand that it was released recently but I feel like that there are no “real” clear goals this app has for users. A lot of the conversations in the main group chats are very dry or just dry and topical small talk. Perhaps helping out users to start conversations with each other would be nice. Because a lot of people who met on this app ended up migrating to either Instagram or discord to socialize more. I don’t know, I’m not into dating apps so take this with a grain of salt. Another thing: don’t get me wrong, there are some nice people on the app that I’m happy I have met but the amount of non-Asians and Asian fetishizer on the app is a bad look and it’s what drives A LOT of people away. I understand that you can’t really exclude anyone based on race, but I feel that it’s unfair for a lot of Asians since this is marketed as their OWN safe space. You can’t really control who makes accounts on this app but this is just something that should be discussed. I overall feel like this app was released prematurely. I literally have only had it for about two weeks and found it through tiktok so I don’t know much about how work and effort was put into it obviously. To end on a positive note, the yuzu community is very friendly and very welcoming. It’s new, I get it. But it just needs more work.

Unfortunate. App has a good foundation and idea but lack of users makes it hard to match with anyone. I’m not giving this app a one star review for the last of viewers though, the distance setting does effectively nothing. For example my range is set to 50 miles and the app will show me many people in a row who are 150-500 miles away and after swiping left on about 10 of these accounts it will show me someone who is 12 miles away. The distance setting needs to limit to the actual distance I set even if there are no other users in my area like hinge or bumble. As well as show the people who are actually close before showing users who are 500 miles away

Invalid verification code?. Every time i try to sign in with my phone number, the app sends me a verification code to put in but every time i put the verification code in, the app tells me that the code is invalid? I then try again to get a new code, but i get sent the same code???????????? Then I’ll try again later, and it does the same thing all over again? I even deleted and redownloaded the app???

Verification code invalid. When I trynna login my account the apps requires a phone number to verify, I use the code the system send to u couple times, it always said invalid code. Even I choose I didn’t the code I still received the same invalid code number. How can we fix it.

API Error. Receive an API Error when I attempt to log in since Thursday morning , 14 MAR.

Fix your app. Can’t even sign up because your 2 options of social or Social+dating is overlapping the continue button.

Broken verification. It’s ridiculous how not even a minute in, the verification code isn’t even working, the code the app sends me doesn’t isn’t even valid for some reason? I’ve redownloaded the app several time and still managed to have the same problem.
