Not as good as previous version.. First off why do I have to log in??? All I want to do is follow the leaderboard. The WEC app from last year was straightforward and had all the information I wanted right at my fingertips, this app defiantly not worth having.

Can’t even watch. It was working fine at the beginning of the season but now it’s blocked in my country due to licensing and legal issues?!?!? That makes no sense but take my money I guess right. Worst timing ever especially during the week of Le Mans!!

Garbage. Nothing loads. Licenses with deals over countries and zones. Ruins the spirit of the sport - and gets deleted.

Bad app, bad service. They sell subscriptions early in the season only to tell you later that they will not be offering coverage of the 24 hours of Le Mans, because they sold those rights to a different app. Absolute rubbish. Watched on this app for the last several years. Now I get to sign up for another streaming service.

Awful, just awful. It’s absurd that we’re still dealing with this in 2024, that I have to revert to my old high seas days. It’s greed, greed literally everywhere now. I am soooo sick of this. If I were to meet the WEC/ACO executives making these decisions I would spit in their eye. Disgusting people.

No way to change language to English. Apps default language is french with no option to change to English

Stops streaming last hour of race. Don’t waste your money on this app low quality picture streaming stopped during the last hour. Had to buy another app to finish watching the race

Sorry sorry sorry app.. I am not computer savvy just a dedicated racing fan. I wonder if the people who wrote the application software know that it doesn’t work at all. When I was using the basic app (although it didn’t give much detail) it worked much better than the purchased upgrades. Now all I get are error messages and notifications to install updates which revert to more error messages. Can I have my money back?

Seems to be improving but…. Seems like they are make a hint of progress improving this disastrous “upgrade.” Give it another year or two and I suspect they’ll get it to function as well as the old app. Bonus insult: was sold and paid for full race package and am not allowed to watch Le Mans from the USA. (Loaded a VPN and figured it out, but come on guys.)

Doesn’t work at all. Bought the app when it was the WEC version. Sound didn’t work at all. LeMans update fixed audio but now there is no video at all. Never seen so little effort put into a paid app.

No what I expected. Team, I love WEC but I think you can get more from us if you develop an easy use and complete app. Asking for personal information when payments are not involved doesn't help either. Just free advice.

Took a good app and destroyed it.. This new app is broken in every way possible. They should’ve just kept the old app.

Forced login unacceptable. Upgraded, forced to login to use this version. Deleted old and new.

Unless they magically rewrite the entire app by this weekend it’s completely useless…. Also if you’re in the US it’s completely region blocked, couldn’t even work with a French VPN… I thought the old app was awful years ago but I’d kill to have it back at this point!

Need to respect orientation of device. I suppose this is the replacement for the FIA WEC app I used to use to watch 24 Hours of Le Mans, but, geez, what a regression. My biggest complaint is that, when not actually watching a live feed, or a replay of the live coverage, the app automatically switches to portrait orientation. I set my iPad up on its stand in landscape mode, which is best for viewing videos, and it’s really annoying that when I need to return to the Home Screen to select the next video, I’m presented with a UI tipped on its side. C’mon, guys, you can do much better than that.

UI can improve, overall good. Some small UI things could be improved but it was overall a good experience

Apple TV. Can we please get availability for Apple TV viewing?

TERRRRRIBBLE. if you want to find ANYTHING about anything look elsewhere because this app is so confusing and difficult to navigate i couldnt even find the race results.. like why is it easier to find a list of every sponsor on the main screen then any results or anything about the races? they definitely screwed up forcing everyone off the old app

What a crappy app. User Experience: Too bad there isn’t a lower rating than 1. The app is not intuitive to utilize and the HELP is worse. I’m going to delete the app off my phone immediately after posting this. The most charitable thing I can share is goodbye!

Terrible experience to find sub unavailable. Went through install and signup to find a horrible UI and then no subscription options available.

Totally useless. Errors at every turn. Totally unusable to track races. Why even bother creating an app. If I ever encounter a developer who created this trash needing a job, I’ll pass on them and wish them the best of luck. Apple shouldn’t even allow such error ridden crap in their App Store and should toss this one immediately.

I want my money back!. This app constantly crashes and I’m tired of reading , “an unknown error has occurred”. It is better to not watch the race than use this app. Or freezes every 1.5 min. Beware of this fraud app!

Uhhh… what? And why?. Why did they even put this app out? It’s completely useless. I don’t even know what else to say. Useless, utterly useless.

Needs user experience improvements. App is getting there but needs some serious improvements. First suggestion is showing the schedule, no where does it tell you what the times practices, qualifying, or races are (local or your time zone). Another suggestion is better UI/menu. It took me way too long to find the current standings.

Nothing Works. That’s about all one can say…sucks!

Unusable UX. Please fix the sizing to work on iPhones. Unable to access the main nav menu due to raising issues. Language is incorrect even after choosing English. Loads of sizing and navigation issues.

Unfinished app. App’s screen only displays vertically on iPad, and isn’t properly sized to display correctly on iPhone 13 Mini. Went to purchase the season pass, and the conditions I have to agree to aren’t in English. The previous app was amazing, far better than IMSA’s and on par with F1’s current app. Why the switch to this one?

Terrible. Changed the display language to English and it’s still in French. Social media connection doesn’t even work. Why would you even launch an app that’s not even fully optimised? Motorsports is so bad at social media, that’s what you get when you have a bunch of old people running a sport. Do better and hire younger and better

Massive downgrade. I've set my language to English yet 90% of the text is still French, the UI is horrible, it lacks information the previous app had (or maybe I'm missing it since I can't read French) and seems solely meant for streaming, and I generally don't like using it. Whoever's company that made this must know someone high up at the WEC because this app is objectively worse than the previous app in every way.

Lacks in Features. Used to be able to see live standings per class. Much more of a supplement for watching the race. This wasn’t useful.

UI and Account requirements awful. I should not have to create an account in the first place, but even when doing so you do not need to know my birthdate and I have no idea which gender symbol is which. Terrible.

Sad. It’s not available horizontally on tablets and when I paid to watch the race it did nothing and I have retest everything

Wow just bad UI. While I have been just fine getting it to work in English. The user interface (UI) is awful. You get stuck in pages, items don’t load and there’s no back button. The app also doesn’t adjust the top interface for the notch on current iPhone and it’s not user friendly to find other races, timing or camera views. I’m truly shocked that in 2023 and with the high cost of this service that this company has such a bad app. FIA should be ashamed to publish this quality or lack there of in a app that represents them as a company. Apple should take this down and require them to provide a fully functional app.

How can something be this bad?. You would have to go out of your way to make an app this bad. Beyond unusable. Hire better people.

Works as intended. Downloaded it today to watch the Fuji practice and qualifying and henceforth, had no issues. Casted it to my big TV as well, so for watching the races it works great

Bad follow up on meh predecessor. Didn’t port over usernames and password info from the app in use through last season, so new ID/PW. Sign-up requires EULA in French (not multi-lingual?) and even now, it doesn’t appear to respect my language choice. Sign-up oddities are one thing, but for this first Sebring round, you can’t send via Airplay on iPhone or iPad - a feature the predecessor had. Incomplete and feels it. Please do better.

Unable to AirPlay content. It doesn’t have an Apple TV app either. Am I really supposed to be connecting HDMI cables to laptops to stream content in 2023?

Written News. Could you update the app to include written news articles? Some of us still like to read.

Terrible app. Doesn’t work, use motor trend

Terrible App - Don't Purchase. Terrible user interface. Sometimes video seems to play but no picture appears - blank screen. Will ask for money back. FIA should be ashamed of themselves! Apple should remove the app until it actually works.

Improvements. Many have criticized this app for poor user interface and lack of things like start times for races. Although I wish there was still a constructors and drivers standings page, most of the issues seem to have been fixed. I have not had the app for more than the day, but the majority of the issues from other reviews seem resolved.

Horrible. UI is worse than the old app. It's hard to find news, and good luck finding weekend schedules. Plus, they seem to have auctioned their streaming servers off to the lowest bidder, with no effort to prepare for the interest Hypercar would generate.

Session Start Times Need To Be Added. The races need to show when each session is starting. We also need an easier place to see the championship standings. Maybe add which car a driver uses so it’s easy to find your favorite on the leaderboard? I would say use some of F1’s app ideas or even Indycar. We also need a page dedicated to each teams car specs. That would be awesome!

Worst app ever. This is by far the biggest piece of digital garbage on the App Store . The developer needs to finish high school first and take another introduction to coding workshop because obviously he/she slept through the first one. Nothing works , the orientation is wrong , I blew money to watch the Sebring race and cannot access it .DO NOT THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY !

Race spoilers. This app offers a "live timing" feature but it doesn't do anything if the race has already ended live. After that, it just displays the final results of the race right below the video recording which is a humungous spoiler. Please fix this. Not all of us can catch the races live.

Can’t access in my country but took my money anyway. I don’t know how you can process my subscription but then block all the content because you can’t serve it in my country. Absolutely shambolic state of affairs and will be requesting a refund.

Is not working. Showing error all the time Don’t use this app. It’s not worth it to spend money on it.

Orientation. Who watched a motorsports broadcast in Portrait mode? That’s just silly…

Airplay does not work. Please fix this

Stopped working after a few minutes. Got the app and paid for it to watch lemans and it’s won’t load after eating 5 min of practice, not happy

There’s a reason it’s not 5 stars and a reason it’s not 1 star either. This app as a standalone streamer for mobile is quite handy. Experiencing it on a desktop pc is smoother and more enjoyable, but as a mobile app it does hover around the standard I expected it to, which is not as good as desktop but not that far off. Key things include the stream still being fairly high quality but limited 30 fps, UI isn’t the prettiest/smoothest thing but it’s not a deal breaker, phone might get a bit hot but nothing too dramatic/unexpected. Occasionally the stream will have its moments after watching for many hours non-stop but being in Australia meant I only experienced this during LeMans because that fit my time-zone well 😂 All in all, a totally fair experience and worthy of my money, happy with the price I paid for the season.

Please reinstate the old App as this one is Junk.. Thank goodness l download and tried the new App before paying my subscription. The App is terrible and no mater what you do will not Air Play onto my smart TV - the old App worked perfectly. Tried streaming the website on both my smart TV’s which are two different brands and on both the Rolex image, language flags and my account initials are permanently on in the middle of the screen like an in-image watermark. WEC you NEED to address this or you will have thousands of unhappy fans who will be demanding refunds!

What was so wrong with the old one?. I’m sorry, but this is terrible. User unfriendly, iPad unfriendly…I’d been looking forward to following this year’s series more closely, but this app makes it practically impossible. I shall miss it. Needs to at least replicate the usability of the old one, and ideally improve upon it. This does neither. Sorry.

Constantly crashing. Terrible app. Paid for the subscription but want my money back. Absolutely disgraceful. App routinely crashes after 4-5 minutes of streaming. Don’t buy the rest of the season.

It’s brutal. Another sloppy app that barely works

can do better. default view should support iPad landscape mode. In event broadcast, app too sensitive for rotation to and from lanscape to portrait. Make your app available on Apple TV

A bad update of a good app. The old version was much better. You can have access to much more data…. Very bad job…

Stealing customer’s money.. Couldn’t follow half the race, app is freezing, disconnecting, tried it on several devices, same results, there should be a lawsuit against ACO, companies are supposed to provide the service they charge for. Unacceptable.

Blocked in Canada. Which is useless

Awful. What a disappointing app

Dare I Hope?. I was pleasantly surprised at how decent this app did for the 2023 24 le Mans in spite of recent reviews (I would have avoided completely but where else was I going to find a better app? - ‘only game in town’ and all that). But I am compelled to give it 2 stars as opposed to the at least 4 stars that I would like to have given with all else being equal. Comparing this to it’s predecessor FIA WEC app shows that many things that weren’t broken have for some reason been 'fixed'. Why would certain features and timing data need to be removed completely when they worked just fine before? Seeing that some improvements in regards to recent criticisms have been addressed leaves me hopeful the developers are on the right path. But once again, where else could I go anyway? (Most pleasing improvement: Appears to have 2 to 3 times more in-car camera feeds than in recent years - and most of them actually worked and were in-service too!)

Package is ridiculous.. FIA should be embarrassed with this app. 32.95 for the annual pass and I have tried repeatedly to view live to no avail. Worthless. Asked for my money back. Doesn’t even rate 1 star, but you have to give it at least 1.

24h du mans - blocked. I bought this app to watch the 24h of le mans and all the content is blocked in USA and Canada. What a scam!

Useless. I don’t like that I’m going to be geo-restricted to content, but it’s not surprising. But WHY WOULD YOU REMOVE THE LIVE TIMING BOARD?!
