Smart Printer App - Air Print App Reviews

A lot of money to not function correctly. I can print fine, but the settings to control how I print don’t seem to work. For example, when the settings on my printer AND on the app both say to NOT flip while printing, page flipping is forced regardless.

wth is this???. I have gotten printers and I have used printers that need to be dealt with. I thought this one would be great but so many pop up ads?? I just scroll down and bam a ad it’s either that or by anything you touch u have to pay for premium?? Like Ms girl whatt..

Ads, doesn’t work, ads, doesn’t work. Every time you touch the screen, it’s an ad and then it wants you to pay to connect more printers when you can’t even get it to the next one

Poor. Once installed and u start to select the thing's wanted to print it makes u pay for it which is stupid if it your printer and coming from your phone or computer

Don’t work. It could never connect to the printer, I scanned a document and it froze, I tried to scan a document from my email and it still froze, nothing could be done, but always ask for a review before using it, I hope I get my money back because it charges up front without knowing if it actually works, I bought it because I saw that it has very good comments and reviews lately.

Another selfish hog for money.. Monkey see monkey do with these organized thieves that rips us off by renting so they can hog the more. Never will I reward these thieves, for those who do they will only spread the greed to others like them for the worse.

Stopped Working. After using this for a year it stopped working! I can’t even open the app to pay for the subscription! Not good! The link does not work from the App Store when I click open it just disappears!

This is a big no for me. Why do we have to pay to use a printer app?? That should be free?? We have 2 printers and the other one isn’t a canon and we don’t have to install a app or pay money.. This is extremely frustrating

Subscription to use your printer. So I have the MG3520. A wireless printer that you can connect to your phone through this app. You need to buy their subscription in order to connect your printer to your phone. I’m not paying $60/year to use my own printer. Blasphemy!

Takes your money then tells you That No Dell Printers work w this app. No dell printers. You should mention that before u take peoples money. Please cancel my subscription and don’t say I didn’t do it in time bc here is my request to cancel

Ridiculously horrible.. You can do practically nothing without a stupid ads popping up there’s no way to properly evaluate the application without committing to purchase.

It’s a no from me. I had this app for all of 5 minutes. The constant pop up ads and screen trying to get you to pay for a subscription is ridiculous!!! Every time I clicked something when trying to resize and print something, AD! I immediately deleted the app.

Doesn’t work. Doesn’t work, and of course you cannot find that out till after you buy the program. If it cannot find the printer automatically then you’re screwed. No option for finding a LAN printer Save your money

Worthless. I kept getting diverted to this app which does nothing I care about. Charged $40 to my credit card and gives me no way to cancel. Waste of time!!! Would give zero stars if that were an option. 🤬

Have to pay to connect to app then still won’t connect. Had to pay to get past the screen to let you connect to a smartphone. Will not connect even after that. Support says to follow instructions in app. There are none.

It doesn’t work on my canon MG 25,22. It doesn’t work on my canon MG 2522 and I’m trying to get my money back or cancel this the subscription and they don’t make it easy. I’m gonna have to go to my bank and cancel this.

Scam. Can’t even use the app to make one print without 100 ads popping up you have to pay immediately no point in downloading

Warning!. Although this app is listed in Canon’s printer setup manuals, it will cost way more than it’s worth. Ignore this app and select the Canon PRINT app.

Ads galore. So many adds wouldn’t connect to my printer without having to buys a subscription. To use a template was another subscription cost. Waste of time and useless.

Half baked $-grab, ads all the time.. Ads. Ads everywhere, behind everything you click on. Every 10 seconds. Easily the only reason you need to not try this app, but I soldiered on only to be more disappointed. App is mostly half baked, the only complete thing being its aesthetics. It crashes, it doesn’t save or remember what you were doing. But before all that, the first thing you’re met with upon opening the app is the subscription offer… basically the only thing you can do practically without a subscription is print a photo or take a picture with the camera and then print that, all while getting an ad every 10 seconds, constantly diverting me from what I came to this app to do. It crashed twice before I got to the actual printing but it couldn’t find my printer. Maybe if I spent more time messing with it the app it might have found it, but my patience was all gone at this point. If you wanted to just print something from your phone/tablet’s files, subscription required. For such an essential feature, developer? Seriously? My search for a printer app continues. If you’re looking for one too, listen to all the bad reviews here, don’t give this app a download.

Disappointing. I purchased the premium version today and find that the program adds nothing to what I could already do with the IPrint-AirPrint function of the IPad. It will identify other printers on your wireless network but will only work if they have the AirPrint component. To make matters worse I am dealing with pop-up adds on the premium version. I think this is of little value and will be requesting a refund.

Very limited capabilities. I purchased a new printer and wanted to connect to it but the app only recognizes my old printer that I still use. It diesnt seem to have the capability to connect to more than one printer

Bought lifetime membership. I bought a lifetime membership some years ago now it’s asking me to go premium. How many times do I have to pay for this program? I can’t use it anymore. I’m not paying for it again. Update I got an email from Apple saying that the seller wanted to resolve my issue. They informed me to email them which I did twice, and still no reply not hard to believe with all the bad reviews on their website.

I cancelled my subscription.. I cancelled my subscription because the program didn’t work with my printer. The program didn’t recognize my printer even after several attempts.

Stupid Teaserware. No way I’m going to sign up for a trial. Just let people try it for an hour or two to make sure they can even communicate with their printer and print some thing. It’s too much trouble to sign up and then find out that the app doesn’t even work and then try to figure out how to cancel the subscription. A lot of developers do the stupid stuff.

Works occasionally. I’ve used HP printers in the past and decided to replace my old one with the new HP 6000 series. It’s been nothing but problems ever since. I hold my breath every time I try to print something. About 50% of the time it doesn’t print.

Can’t get the scanner to work. Very difficult directions.. The printer was fairly easy to set up but the scanner is another story. I sent the last Epson printer back because it wouldn’t scan. I called helpdesk three times and they couldn’t help me either. I don’t know how this will end up but so far it’s a nightmare to hook up the scanner.

Terrible!. You have to pay to print to a printer you already paid for? In what world does that make sense? That’s like paying to use a computer I already own!

No usb support. Disappointed to find that this doesn’t support printing over usb from an iPad Pro

Why does this cost money. Should have been explained that there is an additional charge for printing from your phone.

What ???. I was looking for an air print app . I should have asked someone I knew and trusted but took a chance and signed up but I could not figure out how to work it so I cancelled this app immediately - never even used it. Now I have a charge on my credit card for a whole year’s service and a threat that if I do not get on line and cancel this by a certain date a year from now I will be charged again ! I thought this was a true apple product I could trust !!! Have I been scammed like I think I have been ?!?!

Bad app. Every other printer app I use the picture prints as soon as a click print this one doesn’t even try to connect with the printer they take your money like a scam

No help when you need them. My printer has been off-line for two weeks. HP likes to keep reminding me that it’s off-line and to go back online, but no one’s willing to Help me get it back online

Worked great until it didn’t. I just started using this app with my Canon Selphy CP1300 printer and it connected over my Wi-Fi and printed great until suddenly it just abruptly disappeared after I selected Print. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app. I tried closing down and restarting the printer, the iPhone and the iPad. I replaced the printer cartridge in case it was out of ink. I tried reaching out through the “Contact Us” message option but it wouldn’t send. Everything else on my network is working just fine. Not a good experience so far….

Very disappointed. Look forward to a tank ink, printer, but this one is virtually never willing to print anything we want from either computer and especially from phones. Looking to throw it away and find something that actually works.

Scam. Would not work or connect with the printer and 30 minutes later I canceled the subscription. However they are trying to charge me $99 for the entire year despite I never used the service. Reported this scam to my bank for refund. Gone are the days you could buy a printer and have it set up in minutes. These days they install all these hidden purchases so you are constantly paying and the unit is the size of a microwave. This app is a joke and a ripoff and so is the Canon printer.

Love those Canon printers. Always work, and when you need help Canon has the best tech support people in the IT world. They always know what yo do. Have a great attitude yo give customers the support needed to MAKE IT WORK

Dissatisfied completely. Should never have agreed to this very unnecessary and faulty app subscription! After many many many attempts at both wireless and, invests tethered connection, this app actually PREVENTED functionality!! Once I stopped allowing the service to participate, the tethered connection simply printed with no problems! This subscription full-screen pop-up should NOT be allowed, and certainly not interfere with the purpose it touts providing!! SHAME ON APPLE for allowing this trash to interfere in such a simple and basic service!!

Cannot connect to the internet. I cannot get my printer to connect to the internet. I never had this problem before I have a new modem from bell, Homehub 2000

This is a paid app. The description mentions a “premium subscription”, but this is misleading. The app does not work AT ALL without a subscription.
