Tips for a Better Donation Experience
7. Drink at least 12-to-24 ounces of water or a sports drink 30-to-60 minutes before your donation. Proper hydration helps ensure the procedure is well-tolerated and recovery is quicker.
8. Limit caffeinated beverages and milk on the day of your donation, as they reduce iron absorption and can elevate your pulse.

Great members. I enjoy going and giving plasma the employees are always friendly and learn your name so when you walk in they already know your name it’s always clean and I enjoy watching shows on the TV or listening to music I can not say enough good things because they are just great
Public multinational with billions in revenue can’t make a simple app. Miserable user experience—even worse than the semi-functioning blue icon version. This app (1) Logs out every time app is closed making regular access tedious (it doesn’t store the user email, nope, must type everything, every time.), and (2) users can’t see full date in scheduler (yet can see the snake case variable related to time zone—this it shows dev info no end user could care about about while hiding what counts!). Zero stars. Shame this dreck app is foisted upon us. This friction makes me wanna not donate.
Whats the deal. Was good , the facility and donations, staff here are great. However, since the August update. I have not been able to access my account at all. Can’t make an appointment. Can’t cancel an appointment. Can’t login. System does not recognize me. My local keeps telling to reset my password. Though I have told them on three occasions its not. I have changed my password three times in the last three weeks, including this week. I change the password and I get logged in once. Limited functionality, the i try to log in again and it doesn't recognize me. i don’t know what i’m suppose do. They never answer the phone, like ever! So Thats not a viable option. And i’m sure not going to keep doing what i have been doing doing. Drive down, no appointment till the following day. Drive home, go back the next day. There goes the little compensation we get. I’m sure this week it, will the same. Change you password. Hey how bout this. How bout I find another place to donate. Then i can you should answer your phones once in awhile!! Made an appointment for today via in person. Needed to cancel couldn’t cancel. No app and no answer!! Now i’ll get Email Saying sorry we missed you. Did you know you can download our app to make and cancel appointment. Yeah right!! Just absurd!!!!!
Good but needs to be better. Recently this app was supposedly updated to be better, how I ask? Instead of being able to make your next appointment 2 weeks out when you are on doing your kiosk for check in, you now have to wait for the following day to schedule. This is very inconvenient as it’s not on your mind and is easy to forget. It was so much better to be able to schedule when you were already on. This app keeps getting praised as having all the information you need, wrong, it would be great if it told you when your next sample would be taken and when your next physical was due. Yes, it’s convenient to check in, but they could make it so much better. Please actually make it so much better. I’ve been a donor for 9 years and I’m still waiting for this basic and easy to give info to be available to us on the website and now the app. Please give us that information.
Very Good App. I can’t find a way to edit my recent critical review so I’ll just review it again. I don’t know if a hot fix occurred or something but either way the change in UI to me is now neutral, so it’s back to being a five star app. Super easy to set up appointments and do the questionnaire conveniently.
Update is OK. I appreciate some of the additional functionalities that came with the recent update however, I’m unable to use the schedule an appointment feature. I click on it and it brings up just the month and year and all of the fields are buttons whatever supposed to be there are grayed out. I also miss being able to see on my home screen what my next available donation date is.
Started out great, but now…. When I first got signed up through the donor app, it was smooth and worked very well. Now it keeps saying it is taking too long to load so I cannot even open the app, even when connected to other Wi-Fi locations or just on mobile data. It’s a good idea, but it doesn’t allow for smooth scheduling. Also, if the phleb techs forget to chart something during my visit, it makes it so that I can’t reschedule through the app when it does work, that there’s a hold on the account. I was always taught if it’s not documented it’s not done - the same should work for a donation center, but that’s beside the point for this app.
plasma donation. I have had great experiences except the last few times that I was there when it seemed like an inexperienced technician was digging in my veins-resulting in scarred deeply bruised needle point marks on my arms and damage a spirit. I really would like to continue to do great things. This makes me feel wonderful inside that I’m giving, but I was a little discouraged.
Needs update. It started out fine, and was an improvement to the most recent internet browser appointment scheduler that required you to log in again after each appointment you set. But now I have to force close the app regularly due to errors. Also, the “express kiosk” within the app no longer works, but gives an authentication error. I have to open the “express kiosk” through safari in order to be able to log in and complete the questions.
How does this app have a two star rating?!?. Not even going to sugarcoat it, this is arguably the worst app I’ve ever used in my ten years of owning an iPhone. It constantly logs me out and now it’s gotten so bad that it won’t allow me to log back in or use the reset password function. It’s so buggy and constantly crashes. It used to erase my appointments within the app after I made them as well so I was constantly having to work with the reception desk to make sure my appointments went through as scheduled.
Can’t log in. Just created an account through the website but we wanted to see more available times so tried logging into the app. The app wouldn’t allow it and doesn’t recognize my user info, regardless of the fact that I was able to even log out and back into the website. They need to fix this bug because apparently they’re requiring everyone to start only using the app after tomorrow.
The Donor Hub. This app is lacking The app for individuals should allow the person to know when they are up for review so that the donor can make prior arrangements for not having the donation money for that time period. It should also have a posting to let donors know that they can return to donate instead of having us have to call in to the center to find out if we can return to donate. It would be nice to know how many people we have helped with just our donations alone to give the donor something to feel happy about .
Bonus and pay. We used to get $80 for second donation, now reduced to $70. Your center used offer actual tv programs now that is gone. We used to be offered bonuses and now that is gone. Why all the changes? Have you taken into account the rate of inflation?? I have written to you before with no response so I assume this will fall on deaf ears.
Great Revamp - 1 Huge Miss. The revamped app looks great and is well organized. It provides a very smooth user experience. I think the huge miss was not including the donor’s compensation balance. It’s a pain to have to log in to a completely different app/website to see that information.
Cannot log in. Downloadd, entered email and pass , clicked bottom to sign in and all it does is display dots in a circle that bounce like it’s doing something. Tried with and without WiFi . Inside and out . Tried to reset password. Entered password and reset password button does nothing . Tried pressing other stuff on screen to see if anything would work. But which other links did, but nothing that would work to get into app . Going to just go to the center and hope k can get in to donate and not waste a trip and anymore of my time.
Slot times-. Hope we can get attended the time we make our appointments for since we have to sign up for a time. It Would be nice to get 5:30 appointments more often than not. This hour isn’t available very often. There are many many people who could use that availability.
Ain’t broke don’t fix it. Another example of an app that worked just fine that got updated and is now buggy. Seen some other reviews stating issues with logging in, scheduling appts, or completing the express kiosk questionnaire. All those features were easy on the old app. But here we are - I can’t schedule or change any appts. Keep getting a grey calendar that won’t load any time slots or any other buttons to press.
CAUTION! New Update clears your donor history. I updated to the new version today (July 22, 2024) as I encouraged to do by the various emails Grifols sent out, but I was extremely disappointed that my donation history and compensation history was deleted and cleared. Please Grifols, transfer my donation history to the new app. If this is important to you, avoid the update (Unfortunately the “contact us” submission page on Grifol’s website is broken and I wasn’t able to notify them directly of this problem.)
Completely Blank. I downloaded the app on my iPad and it shows a half blue half white screen with a drop tab option in the upper right hand corner showing me I can choose which language I prefer to use the app in but that’s the only thing on the screen, everything else is completely blank and seemingly nonexistent. I’ve waited for it to load multiple times as well as have restarted the app multiple times. Nothing I’ve done has yet has helped at all. It’s un-usable.
Best appointment app. I really thought it was going to be a hassle to make appointments or to reschedule and make donating More limited but that is not the case at all you can cancel same day no penalty, reschedule same day if needed , this appointment system might be a bit tricky for the older generation of people that really don’t like to use phones or tablets /computers most of those people can get younger family members to help out , and honestly it seems this system is just to help donors to get the screening done faster and the initial check in faster so that the facility won’t be swamped beyond capacity at higher volume Times ,the app helps people know when to come and not to forget their days by checking online honestly my family was fine with the old way but over all this is a better way of doing it for the majority of people, I mean coming in at 9 am and not knowing if you can get to donate and waiting until 3 pm was no fun I am sure for anyone, this takes all the guess work and added time out of it because sadly while this part-Time job is paid for the time you spend they don’t pay hourly it is a salary based Job so yes this app does really help everyone invest as little of their time as needed to get the job done and back on their way to living their lives !!!! A++++
Ruined something perfect.. This new update is causing more trouble than donating is worth. The scheduling is the absolute worst and is not efficient at all. The new update will not let you schedule out 2 weeks or modify any appointments. My times have been pushed o it farther and farther because scheduling is available and unavailable at random times. When this becomes inconvenient you lose business. I will no longer be a donor at grifols until this inconvenience is resolved.
New update is very bad I wish I could go back.. New update is a much worse product. I have to sign into the app every time I open it which was not the case before, this also includes signing in for the pre check up. This makes the app much less streamlined and is just tedious. Scheduling appointments also are worse now, you use to be able to open the app and see all your appointments now it only show the most recent appointment. The app doesn't even allow me to see all the appointments I have currently. Also you used to be able to schedule your appointments two weeks ahead and that no longer seems the case. The old app was very simple and convenient, and it didn't waste your time. This is a clear example on trying to fix what wasn't broken.
Good but could be better. Making appointments and rescheduling is very easy. Being able to answer the questions before arriving is very convenient. However, it would be great if our vitals were available to track overtime.
My time at the plasma center. I really enjoy coming to the Plasma center when you come through the door there’s a friendly atmosphere the employees and staff are very nice and very cooperative. I get help with questions I may have. and I always leave in a better mood than I came in. Thank you so much Michaela Colson.
Best worker. I think that it’s the best facility that I’ve been to and I’ve been to two in my life time and I think that Crystal, the girl that works to a little out of this is the best is the best her smiles are the best and her demeanor is the best I think she should get an award for the best employee of the month .
Friendly Facilitie. The facility is clean and organized. The front staff is working hard to ensure all donors are safe and checked through the system to donate plasma. The technicians in the back are working diligently to ensure all donors receive the proper care for their time in donations of plasma. I have been well taken care of my time in the facility. Thanks to all care workers in this nice facility.
Amazing Company. This is my first time coming to this facility. Everyone takes the time to greet and welcome you. All my questions and concerns are answered and addressed. I walk out with a smile and looking forward to my next visit. Great staff and team work! I would like to give a shout out to Tina. She is always so kind and wears a smile that makes me smile. Thanks for everyone’s support!
Frustrated. I like how easy it is to schedule, my issues are the log in. I want the same biometric option to log in with saved credentials BECAUSE the lock out period is 30 minutes. If I’m trying to log in right before my appointment to complete the questionnaire and happen to type my password wrong not only can’t I donate at the time of the my appointment but I can’t log in to change the appointment either! Kinda ridiculous. Not sure what is so protected in the app that the security parameters are what they are.
Employees. Anytime I have visited this location, I have always been greeted, & informed on what to do. The staff is really nice & caring. I did have 1 issue with an employee sticking me wrong twice.. but she was taken care of by another employee. He helped fix the situation & my arm felt a lot better. As the days went on, my arm bruised really really bad. It looked like someone grabbed my arm, & twisted it all the way around. The bruises was black and purple. But, I do know this happens, so I wasn’t mad at her. I just hope she is getting more training before getting back in the field
Use Donor Hub Appointment App. Rather than calling and,often times not getting an answer as immediately as we expect as customers/donors, it’s so easy to use and gives us infinitely more options to control our calendars. I’ve been using it for three years.

Every single employee I’ve encountered have always treated INE with high respect and honor them for this . Way to go Grifols Biomat in Victoria Tx .
App needs work. When I first started using this app it worked perfectly fine, but now the app takes along time to load and when trying to complete the kiosk questions the app does not load the questions forcing me to answer the questions on a desktop computer.
Easy, straight forward. Majority of the reviews are negative if you don’t know your way around technology. Simple app, easy process. If after the first donation it doesn’t change, it has to do with the donating place, not the app.
Five years worth of donations erased. I’ve been donating plasma since the summer of 2019. I’ve been through so many ups and downs with Grifols. I’m very upset because they are just now introducing a rewards system. I’m very happy about that but my five years worth of donations are completely gone and I have to start from square one, and I think it’s unfair that I have five years worth of donations and I’m pretty sure with all of my donations. I would’ve got a lot of rewards it honestly makes me not want to donate plasma anymore. They always find some way to make it unfair for the customer. Also, their payments are not high and it seems like a waste of time at times.
Worst app i’ve ever used. Probably the worst and most inconvenient app i’ve ever used. Forces you to have a PW on your entire phone just to use the app, logs you out of the app every single time, doesn’t integrate well with iphones saved passwords autofill feature. I’ve used this app for over a year now and always hated it, however they keep making changes that just make it worse. Devs, remove the mandatory phone PW and let us stay logged in when we close the app.
Love the staff!!. I haven't met anyone at this Grifols location that wasn't friendly! I love the honesty when I ask questions and it's fun to watch how they all cut up with each other.... you can tell they enjoy where they work!
App worked fine, until it was required to be used. Then it crashed.. The title says it all. It’s too bad I had to give it a star to rate it. It’s completely useless. I called the “help “ line. No help at all, and they were oblivious to the problem with the crashed app. There is no update for it in the App Store either. I went to the Grifols website, and went to the “contact us” section. What a surprise! That’s broken also! I can’t even report the problem to them other than by phone, which gives me no confidence that this effort is even going to get to the right people to fix the problems I am experiencing. My app has face recognition, and that works, but then nothing else happens but a blue screen. I was told that I can make appointments by phone until the app is fixed, but I know for a fact my center won’t let me make any appointments by phone, “because you’re supposed to use the app.” Nice start to a new era, Grifols. I’m interested in seeing where the shipwreck goes from here.
A disaster. I tried the new v2.0 app on my iPhone and new iPad, could not get it to work on either platform. On iPhone SE, once I was able to figure out how to make an appointment (still not sure how I got there. Clicks are very laggy.), the pop up to select a date displays all text in a single vertical line. The times available are not shown, let alone choosable. On the iPad it’s easier to choose a date, but again times are not shown. When you hit the Next button, you’re chided for not selecting a time! I hope the fix this by 7/12 when you -have- to use it to make an appointment.
Won’t log in. For some reason it logged me out which is frustrating enough, but when I try to log back in it just sits there spinning, my WiFi is 1.2 GBPS so I know it’s not my internet connection but it won’t work. Then I thought well maybe if I reset the password it’ll let me login in the process I tried to do that and then I put in my email and the reset password buttons broke. I can sit there and tap it all day and it doesn’t even show that it’s being tapped and I’ve tried logging in on the website too and this is the same exact thing.
Staff. They are awesome, always make you feel comfortable, and are professional and friendly enough to make the experience much easier for the donor. Several I would point out, but they and y’all know who they are, that have an excellent manner with every and any donor. That should take them places in the medical field.
Used to be great, now it’s trash. The older versions of this app had everything done in app now you get pushed to an external browser. On top of that recently I’ve had to login manually every time before Face ID would log me in. The only way Face ID works in the app now is if you login manually then logout then back in with Face ID, completely useless cause once you’re logged out for a few hours the same issue presents itself.
Three Complaints. 1) cannot make appointment in app, have to go to another website for that. 2) Next available date to donate. Somewhere on this app; it should show the next date available to donate. (Searched everywhere for this on the app), hopefully I am just missing it. 3) Appointments should not be able to be made on a date prior to eligible date. Just drove 40 minutes to make a donation and couldn’t because I’m a day early; AFTER I made an online appointment yesterday.
Awful since the recent update. Since the update I have had so many problems logging in and having to reset my password. Every time there’s a problem. When I try to reset my password through the app I get no email link but on the website it works fine. Definitely has problems. Never had problems like this until this last week and the update. Extremely frustrating and inconvenient. Can’t really use it right now. You should probably test the updates thoroughly before rolling out live..
App is not working right. I have the latest version for IOS. I can select a date but when it goes to the screen to be able to select a time it just sits and spins and doesn’t allow me to select a time. What can I do to fix it?
Very Thankful. I’m going to explain how my Grifols pretty much saved my life I was deferred for 8 weeks but worth it for the information they found a pretty big blood clot in my arm and it was headed most likely straight to my heart so thanks Tanar & Katie for helping me escape death again! I’ll be back soon to donate or to be warned and sent on my way
App appointment doesn’t equate to actual donation time. As much as I appreciate the effort & the idea of booking an appointment ahead of time via the app, the issue is that 90% of the time when I booked a donation day & time when I arrive at the site, I’m typically not donating for another 30+ minutes. I think this is due because the site is under staffed; especially for the folks doing the screening process. The app itself seems pretty straightforward and easy to use, but my bigger point is that booking an appointment doesn’t equate to the relative time for the actual donation itself.
Compensation Link. Plasma Centers tell donors to check app for compensation information. Except when you go to the compensation location in the app, even exactly on the button that says “Donors Handbook: Compensation Information” it takes you to a page titled “Plasma Donation Process and Duration: A Comprehensive Guide for Plasma Donors” and nowhere is there mentioned anything about compensation. Unclear communication with customers shows untrustworthiness in a business.
I am so sick of wasting my time at this place. And first and make it impossible to be a walk-in if you have a job. So trying to do with the appointment through the app, it keeps saying my information is incorrect and that I have to call them. Problem: they say they are too understaffed to have anyone answer the phones. By your used to be able to sit in the waiting room but now they make you stand. The last time I made it to the front of the line I still had to wait over 20 minutes and they weren’t even busy.
Horrible update. Before the current update, when you logged on to complete the express kiosk, you could schedule your two week appointment. Now, not only do you have to sign in every time, before it would keep you signed in, it holds onto your current appointment the entire day, even AFTER you donate, making it impossible to schedule two weeks out. Had I known about this issue, I wouldn’t have updated it. Fix it or bring back the old version!!
Great app and place to donate. I’ve donated before and now with the app. The app makes the scheduling so convenient. It reminds you when you can downstream again and allows you to put your donations in you phone calendar so you don’t forget.

Doesn't work for Canadian donors. It literally doesn't allow you to use letters for your postal code, and it only gives you 5 characters 💀. And the braindead devs won't listen to the reviewers.
Do not download if you live in Canada!!. To finish creating your account on the app you have to enter a zip code (your postal code) but when you try to actually put in the zip code you’ll find that it can’t register letters. The app does not recognize Canadian postal codes to the point you can’t even put in a letter. You can also try signing in through your donor ID but if you do the app will immediately crash.
Canadians. This app does not work for Canadian donors.
Help. Won’t let me enter a Canadian postal code so I cannot select My center

Notifications. I currently have 4 red notifications on the app icon on my iPhone and have no way of viewing what those notifications are. When I’m in the app there isn’t a place for you to view any notifications that you may have.
So far, so good. Easy to use application if you follow directions. Whitney at the front desk sorted out an issue I had, and the app is is very resourceful. Am a new donar, and so far the facility and staff are accommodating, as well as efficient.
Frustrated. Very frustrated with this new app login. It constantly asks me to login in (even when my user name and password and Face ID are saved)! Then it tells me I can’t log in since I had too many attempts. I must have reset my password 6 times!
Amazing Staff. I’m in the medical field and understand the purpose and importance of being a donor. I’ve dedicated my life to help others in ALL ways. The staff are caring and friendly.
Appointment and App. I wish there was a way to fill out Kiosk info on app. I don’t like that there are no other options for donating only appts. If I have the time then I want to be able to stop by on my own time. Also, if I get a day deferral then I can’t make an appointment for the next day.
Can’t schedule an appointment. I keep logging in to the old app, which worked fine before, and it now leads me to the new app. The new app does not have a single date available from now until July. Going to go to another center since this app has become useless.
Different days. We should be able to go on what ever day we want instead of the days we pick the first week the next week I would love to go on different days.
Doesn’t update. I got an email after making my first appointment online that I could fill out paperwork in the app and save time at my appointment. That wasn’t true. Once I was at my appointment It didn’t update with my donor number, I had to type it manually and it didn’t update after I finished the donation. I waited a day and still no update, so I couldn’t even make a follow up appointment in the app. Total waste
New update is terrible!. The old app, although a little buggy, in general worked great. Why fix something that’s not broken? This new app is very annoying and not nearly as convenient as the old app. I loved the Calendar feature of the old app, how I could clearly see if I had four donations scheduled or not. This new app is not like that. Plus it logs me out when not in use.
21st century convenience. Grifols website is so convenient, always easily accessible and saves so much time. Thank you webmaster!
Great place to donate. I love this place. The staff is amazing and I’m getting to know most of them here. I haven’t had an issues here.
Griflo staff. Sometimes you have to wait a little longer but the staff does a great job at taking care of you! I love this place!!!
Convenient app. Great for scheduling your appointment and getting your questionnaire done beforehand. It’s nice to see your appointment history also.

Waiting for new app to be fixed. Several bugs in updated app. In addition to what people have already reported here, I am no longer able to sync my appointments with my calendar automatically. It keeps saying there is an error and no other directions to fix it.
Love this app!. Since I’ve started using the app, I personally have not had any issues. Makes setting an appt a breeze!
Useless. Having donated plasma with other companies- their apps are far superior and actually useful to their donors! On this app you CANNOT make appointments, check card balance, nor can you see when next available donation is possible. What is the actual point of this app? Time to make some major updates and actually make this app worth even installing!
Reliable. It’s reliable. The Home Screen UI could use a bit more tidying up but it gets the job done! Test answers and feedback are all accessible.
The donor hub. The donor hub has been easy to use for setting up donation appointments and helping with getting things done in order to check in to help speed up the time of donation
Good App Overall. Like this app, but please make a way to check my money on the card (since i go to ATM and wanna know how much is on there right after in the car)! THANKS TECH PEOPLE :)

Donor hub App. It’s great and easy to use also very reliable. It’s an easy tool to get you plugged right into excellent customer service and great hospitality….
Very confused. I can’t create an account cause I need a registration number but it doesn’t tell me how I am supposed to get one, the website is broken and won’t let me do anything without getting a random “security breach” for clicking on anything So how exactly am I supposed to donate when your website doesn’t work and you leave out details for account creation?
Hate the password. I super super hate that you have to have a password on your phone in order to use the app. If that weren’t a thing, the app has been fine so far.
As easy as 1.2.3.. This really makes things easier for everyone. Especially the wonderful people who help us donate.

Cannot schedule appointments through app. It recently updated and since the update I cannot schedule appointments through the app. When I click on the day I want the schedule it will just have the loading circle up forever and will never load that day’s appointment times. Extremely frustrating

Good app with bad mechanic. App is fine. The major issue is it requires you to have a password on your phone. I don’t use a password so I have to continuously turn it on and off when I use the app. An extremely annoying feature. I mean cmon is anyone really scared someone is going to steal their phone and go into their Grifols account and schedule an appointment?! Give me a break.
Coo. Yay. Still glitchy. But less as the updates come in.... Would love some kind of add on that reflects payment alerts and the amount of the donation....
This app has the potential to be convenient and useful. This app has the potential to be convenient and useful except when running on my iOS system, it likes to glitch and not load and it doesn’t like to switch to do the virtual system to answer my questions on Safari. I always have to switch switch and have it load and chromeor a different browser
Logs me out constantly. When it works it works great, but every once in a while the app will log me out without letting me log back in no matter what I do to troubleshoot the issue. And then I can’t sign up for appts or keep track of my donating; it’s very inconvenient
Inaccurate Data. I opened the app to schedule an appointment and it said the next date for me to be able to donate was today. So, I schedule an appointment, walk in and turns out I can’t donate because the lab results from my last donation hadn’t arrived yet. Seems like the app only accounts for time between dates instead of whether you can actually donate or not.
Staff are real people not robots. All staff checking to see if you ok and making sure you feel comfortable as possible while you got a needle in your arm
Plasma. A great place to contribute to the well being of other’s. All staff are friendly, and pleasant in interaction with clients. Do for other’s and you’ll definitely feel good, and gain something in return.
Express Kiosk. App Never allows me to sign into Express Kiosk. When I sign in through the App, the page just continues to circle. If I get onto the site through Google, I can access Express Kiosk without any difficulties. Not sure what the problem is and why I cannot access it through the app.

Stopped working. I was able to use the app with no problems until recently. Now it won’t let me log in. It just spins and doesn’t go anywhere. When I try to reset my password, it doesn’t let me do that either. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no change.
Login failed. Multiple attempts to log in with the same information as the previous app and website with no luck. Tried to reset my password and it said that my account is locked for too many failed attempts even though i was submitting the correct information :/
4 stars (my opinion). Yes there is a compensation for saving lives! The destination is HERE, you’ll be welcomed by the friendliest humans in Casa Grande. My opinion is irrelevant however I am standing by what I post.
