Doesn’t work at all!!. Doesn’t work. It freezes on the camera and does nothing after that. No directions or assistance at all. I am deleting it. Waste of time!

Does the job. Simple to use and can read the federal vaccine QR codes as well. The level of privacy intrusion is less than being asked for identification when ordering alcohol. You cannot see a person's address the way a bartender can see it on your driver's license.

Great technology for restaurants and COVID safety measures. Reliable app for the verification of Canadian government issued vaccine cards. Fully secured reader.

Camera App?. Is BC government able to hire a capable iOS dev to make this app work?

Older QR codes don’t scan properly. The app is incredibly simplistic, and doesn’t give any other information beyond: verified (if it is). If the QR code is invalid it gives no reason why, and QR codes need to be generated relatively recently for the app to work properly. There is a SMART app which can provide more information about vaccinations if needed.

BAD APP. No instructions. No controls. I’m a high functioning computer user and if I can’t make it work easily it’s pretty much crap. How difficult can it be to scan a couple of documents?

Bad. Keeps crashing

This is for restaurant employees. I recommend that you add a page in the app that describes what the app does, and then a button to allow you to go back and forth to the scanner. I saw someone talking about it online and thought this was how we translated our card into a QR code - I didn’t read the app description before downloading it (and it looks like most people who wrote reviews didn’t either).

An other bugging up from the government, once again good job. Always buggy, unsecured just like most other apps from the government and government initiatives simply dosent work

Garbage. Stupid app doesn’t recognize my double Pfizer jab vaccination done in another country (Turkey), even though it has an EU-approved WR code.

Doesn't work. The app never works, tried everything. The BC government took an L on this one smh.

Works fine!. Downloaded the app and it scanned the first three QR code’s I scanned perfectly.

Crashing and stuck on screen. Who ever built this app needs to debug it immediately. It’s causing constant crashing and camera stuck on when attempting to scan QR code. Fix now!!! Avoid until fixed. It’s also causing my iPhone to reboot.

Can’t scan a screenshot from the same device. There isn’t an option to upload a screenshot. Your only choice is to print a physical copy and then scan the code.

No instructions!!. This app launches my camera scanning by default and DOES NOT instruct on WHAT it expects me to scan!!

Clean simple functioning technology. When you first open it it configures with your camera and then it is a clean and very basic QR reader that pulls up confirmation of vaccination for a specific individual. That’s it. That’s all. No buzzers. No bells. It does the trick.

How does app work. Just Downloaded this app not sure how it works

Get your facts right. Y’all realize that this is use to verify OTHER peoples vaccinations so they can enter stores not to create your own vaccine passport

Easy. Google BC Vaccination passport which you follow the link to the government website scroll through enter your personal health number and the date easy instructions and you can download it on your phone. I have an iPhone

Why?. Basically all this app seems to do is read and decipher a QR code - repeating the information on the device or document in front of the camera. It does this even in airplane mode - so what back end verification (if any) is taking place? It also leaves the camera running, with no way to exit the app without force closing it

Missing ease of use. Why did you make this app but could not make a good solution for people to save their pass?

Perfect. Fast and smooth

Anti-Vaxxers hate this app. It’s a functional, if rudimentary app. All it does it check the QR code and display someone’s vaccination status. For those complaining it doesn’t let you store your vaccination information, that’s not its purpose and there’s a much better way to do that: add it to your built-in Apple wallet via the Health app. It’s the same place you can store your credit cards for Apple Pay, library cards, movie tickets, etc.

Lacking features. This app does what it says it does, but there is no point for the average person to download. Dev, please add the ability to store your own QR code within the app.

Dumb. Trudopes Chinese style social credit system well on the way

Unethical. Discriminatory, unethical and probably illegal.

Minimally functional. Adequately performs the basic function of reading a BC QR code, checking the digital signature that prevents counterfeiting, and displaying the owner’s name and COVID vaccination status. Works entirely offline. Does not work with other province’s QR codes, which would be very useful.

Easy to use. Easy-to-use implementation of the SMART health card standard, allowing verification of the vaccine status without display of unnecessary personal information from the digitally signed QR-code.

Waste of time. Just another way for people to be discriminated against

17+ huh. Why is this rated 17+ …

Out of Province Vaccinations. Should someone be fully vaccinated in say Ontario and working in BC, their QR is not read by this scanner.

It should let you know when they’re 19+. When we scan the QR code, it should let us know if we are also required to verify ID.

Intrusive. Pointless, minimal

Good but needs improvement. Should have the option of uploading the saved QR code from photo gallery.

Camera BG usage. This app causes background usage of your camera constantly, if you go into the battery utilization it’s insane, something is really bugged with this app, avoid until they fix it.

Same app for all provinces. Im a resident of BC but got my shots in Qc the provinces should all be working on the same platform so you can read a qr code from another province. Oh yeah that makes sense right! Can’t they regulate the apps all for one and one for all.. We are all from Canada eh

Easy to forge for common names, doesn’t display DOB. Why does this app not display the Date of Birth information already encoded into the SMART QR code. Verification of the name should include checking this, because unimmunized persons with duplicated names are already using this weakness to present forged codes.

Did work but not now.. Worked with first, second shot and then also worked with first booster. Does not work with 4th shot aka booster #2 please update this app October 7, 2022
