Basically just a filter, not useful at all.. Don’t waste your time, it’s basically just a filter that lets you adjust contrast but doesn't really find the veins well unless your skin is paper thin which at that point, you wouldn't even need this app’s supposed functionality.

Paywall. This app is not free. You can’t use it without a subscription.

Great App 100%. All these reviews are more than a year old so I thought I’ll give my thoughts, just installed this app and I saw my veins and this is the part that made me trust the app, I have a vein that runs down my arm and forearm at first I thought it was just a straight vein, but I discovered it has 2 branches of vein, the straight vein being the trunk, I thought that the trunk didn’t runoff anywhere and was just a straight vein and then I started looking closer to where the app said it was and then I saw them by paying really close attention, keep in mind the branches where way lighter than the trunk, my veins do not bulge at all so I just rely on seeing the green lines I usually see under my skin. I recommend this app 100% Useful for when you need it, not sure when you’ll need it though, if your a nurse your taught how to find a vein without any equipment.

This app really works!. If I could post a picture on here I would! All these bad reviews are clearly not using common sense! All you do is aim it at your subject and slide the bar at the bottom until you can see a vein! It doesn’t have to be dark! Maybe their phones are just too old to look right. I am using the iPhone X pro or whatever and it works perfectly!

Useless. It’s a scam

Poor function and no instructions. This app saw a little bit of my veins, but missed nearly all the superficial veins. It’s not worth purchasing, especially to help with small or hidden veins.

Just a filter. Nothing on vein seek, phones just don’t have the capacity to do what a 3,000$ machine does.

Awesome. I’m a physician and will occasionally need to do a blood draw or help insert an IV overnight etc. This app is great! It has allowed me find veins that I otherwise couldn’t get on my own. Some kind of imaging processing allows you to visualize veins you can’t see with the naked eye. Be aware this is a subscription based app. I’ve already used this on a couple patients though and so far this seems well worth the small price!!

This app works great. I’m very experienced at starting IVs.This app is just a helpful tool for the difficult sticks. I don’t agree with any of the negative reviews. I give 5 stars and that’s coming from a 20 year Paramedic.

Crap. This only shows veins that I can already visually see already so therefore would need help finding. Very disappointed!

Horrible. No instructions. I don’t see the point of it and I need my money back.

Disappointed. While it does show some veins, it also shows clutter that looks like veins. Apparently, it just uses your existing camera, but processes the image, using contrast and color. It would be interesting to see what you’d get just using an IR camera, but that would mean buying hardware. If you’re trying to find a vein to stick a needle into, I think you’d be disappointed.

Scam. Why stating at the App Store “Free” if you need to pay to even try using it after you download it? Delete!

No instructions no menu. It prompted for a subscription for a trial but I had to go looking on my Apple subscription menu to find a place to cancel the trial. There was absolutely no menu and nothing explained what anything did.

Super Helpful. I often have to place IV’s both outside and inside the hospital, the portability of being on my phone really helps me when I’m in a tight pinch outside the hospital with less support.

Doesn’t work. Don’t try it, it won’t work

Does it’s job!. The app does contrast the less palpable/visual veins well enough to get ideas for extra targets on patients who are hard sticks. Recommend as another tool in the toolbox.

SCAM! DOES NOT WORK!. This doesn’t work. Don’t bother with any of the instructions or tips. It doesn’t show you any veins that aren’t already blatantly obvious to the human eye. Seriously. I’m concerned about the medical professionals on here that are convinced it does work…

Useless and hard to cancel subscription. Tried this in a completely dark room like another reviewer suggested and it’s still useless. The positive reviews have to be fake because this doesn’t show you more than what you can see with your own eyes. Also even though there’s a 3 day trial period, there’s no instructions whatsoever on how to cancel. I had to send a message on their website asking how to do it. Don’t bother wasting even $0.99 on this.

How do you use this. This app has absolutely no instructions, which it desperately needs. If there was some sort of description on how to get the best results I feel it would actually be helpful. But without any sort of instructions or description on how to get the best results it’s pretty much a waste of money.

This app is crap. This is not like anything I can use for work…. I was so stupid to spend a dollar on this crap If your can see the vein then using the app, you can now see it in red light yes what a piece of work this is Don’t waist your dollar

Great app - USE IN THE DARK. This app doesn’t deserve the rating it has, it’s an incredible tool - IF you use it in a completely dark room with the flashlight on. The results are completely night and day.

Works good. Visualizes veins that are not too deep well. I do notice that if the patient has hairy arms the hair really stands out and masks the veins somewhat. I can adjust the slider to make the hair less visible but it also makes the veins less visible. Is there a website that explains how to use this app correctly or that has tips on how to use it more efficiently?

No veins. Either I have no veins or this doesn’t work or there is something I am seriously missing. A waste of money for me.
