Add next/prev frame buttons. If there were buttons to jump forward/backward one frame at a time the UI/UX would be massively upgraded. Great app overall though! Just a little feature light at the moment

Really great. The app is pretty intuitive and the features are great. Sometimes it’s a little hard to see but I think that’s my fault. Can’t believe this is so easy compared to the computer. Definitely worth it

Very unforgiving. I use this to track disc golf disks. It is extremely difficult to correct or undo mistakes without starting all over again. Many times the tracking will overextend where it is marked. What should just take a few minutes takes about 15 to 20 minutes because I have to start over and over again. Very frustrating app to use. iPhone screen is simply too small to be able to edit and track a disk well. The resolution is also not very good so that picture is not clear at all. I wish this were available for Mac OS with a larger screen and a mouse or trackpad It would be much easier. The auto track feature has never worked at all. Be sure and keep your video segments very short or this app will actually cut your video short.

Can’t even save first free video.. Went thru and traced my shot, only to get thru the render process and be told that if I wanted to save the video I have to upgrade to a $30 or $40 paid subscription and it says I get one free save video every 10 days but I wasn’t even able to save my first video using only the basic features. Looks like I’ll be trying something else for my shot tracing.

Great tracer app!. I love tracing my shots with this app! I haven’t used the auto tracer much as I’d rather do it manually, but overall a great app! Only flaw I’ve noticed is it does crash sometime, but it always saves my work and opens right where I left off.

This app is dope for disc golf. I use it nonstop whenever I make videos of me playing. There should be a setting where you can “erase” the line so you can show when the disc goes behind a tree. Sometimes the app heats up my phone when I start making a ton of videos. Sometimes it will also crash if it making a bunch one after another. It also thinks that I’m tracing a golf ball and yes I’m selecting the correct trace for disc golf, it still just thinks it’s a golf ball. Could use some improvement on that but outside of that it’s the ideal app. Still a fire app.

Feel like a pro. When I first starting using this app I had very high expectations and it met every single one of them. This app makes every throw feel like the coolest throw ever when you can highlight the flight path.

Best Tracer I’ve Used. I’ve tested multiple tracers and this is by far the easiest to use. I manually draw the curves for the tracer and it’s so simple. The hang time and acceleration match a golf shot very well! Great app!

Crashes all the time. Had it over a year. Used to work well. Updates are odd. Makes it more difficult to trace and it crashes almost every time now. Even deleted and downloaded again. Same problem

THE ABSOLUTE BEST!. If you are in the market of posting your disc golf throws on social media, do not do so without this app! Any throw can be traced within seconds to make your content look incredible, with ease! And with the implementation of auto-tracking, it’s become even easier! Quit making your audience guess where a disc goes or zoom into your post to see the result. This app is the absolute best and a complete no-brainer for any disc golfer or the like on social media!

Great app. Just got it last night and it’s so fun definitely going to be using it a lot I definitely feel the price point it great and I will be take way more videos of me and my friends now that we can take the line

Simply the best app for tracing shots. Absolute worth the money if you’re sharing disc golf content. With any app, I’ve run into a few bugs but the folks at Ace trace stand out. Any time I’ve submitted a bug report I get a timely response from an actual person and they work it out as quickly as they can. Beyond that, the user interface is about as easy as it could be.

My Favorite Tracing App!!!. This is such a luxury to have, to be able to use this app and trace my throws and change the color and to add the distance as well. It all adds up to make some really cool looking videos!!! Highly recommend to anyone who plays disc golf, and wants to improve their game as well!

Unfortunately had to change my review to negative. I had canceled my subscription a while back and I guess they raised the prices since then. I recall paying maybe $15 for a year. Now I created a video and in order to save it I had to get a subscription. I thought oh $3/month isn’t bad and bought it not realizing it was charged annually. So that was annoying but whatever my bad for not reading it. But now I can’t even use the same effects that worked on the first video on subsequent ones because I got the silver package. Well why did the first video work? Pretty slimy and I would like my money back. Wouldn’t mind paying for gold if charged monthly so make that an option and stop trying to trick people

Expensive - Have to wait 35 days to test it. Downloaded the app to test and see how well it works. Was surprised to find out on the free version you get 1 free video to analyze every 35 days, then you have to be on a paid version. The paid version is either $30 for 6 months or $40 for a year. So I have pay $30, $40 or wait 35 days before I can even see if the app works as they say or not.

WISH I FOUND IT SOONER. Honestly, this is such a great app and worth the subscription once you start using it to share videos! Just started using it and it’s so easy to understand how to use and just adds another level of detail to your social posts or anything else. So far haven’t found any flaws or improvements, I would suggest but I’ll update if I do!

Would Pay Up Front. The app is great. I like the way it works; it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I would pay upwards of $10-$20 up front for the app, but instead it is subscription-based which may end up preventing the devs from getting any $ from me. They explain on their site their reasons for being subscription-based, but it doesn’t sway me to set up a recurring subscription service.

Decent app. Crashes quite a bit. User controls should be easier to manage. Ball tracking could be more accurate. Manually tracking can be good but you have to invest along while to get the accuracy correct.

So angry. The only thing I don’t like about this app is that I just learned how to do follow flights on my computer. This app does it approximately 45 minutes faster than I ever could on my computer. So fast and easy to use and great results.

It’s ok. Does the job well enough but you only get to save like 1 video a month lol and you can’t just pay for a month you have to buy by 6 or 12 lol look at the loser response from developer. No I don’t appreciate the one free video that doesn’t give me enough of an idea of how accurate the app is. Plus doesn’t address the fact that you can’t even buy for less than 6 months at a time. DO NOT USE. This is my first review I’ve ever left and it is absolutely worth it. This app is a piece of ****. I used the free version once it worked semi okay then because I’m in need of a shot tracer app I decided alright it can’t be worse then the one I’m already using so I paid for it. ROOKIE MISTAKE ITS HORRIBLE after paying for it the app worked one time and now I can’t make any tracers on it so they literally took 30 dollars out of my account and now useless. Horrible horrible horrible DO NOT USE THIS APP

Better than I would’ve imagined. It takes a second to get used to manipulating the tracer, but once you get the hang of it you can make a nice line for you flight and plot as many points as you need to get the shape right. You can even get a sense of your swing path for disc golf with the right clip. Worthy

Fantastic. I purchased the gold membership for a golf channel I'm starting called LouisvilleGolfClub and this tracer app is phenomenal. It like augments the tracer into the video, it's so amazing I can't understand how it works but it's so simple I don't have to!

No real free version. Works well. Made a quick video to test it out but when I tried to save it a message popped up informing me that I need to subscribe to save videos. I would have continued using the app if they offered even a basic version with a prominent, unremovable watermark. I would have probably ended up paying for a subscription just to be able to use all the bells and whistles like special effects and distance tracking and auto tracking etc etc.

GREAT APP OVERALL. This app is great for disc golf content creators that want to take their content to the next level. Easy to use app and provides a great easy to follow flight path. 5 stars for sure, the subscription is super worth it.

Happy when it works, frustrated when it doesn’t. If the conditions are perfect and you have your camera at the right angle with the ball captured by the camera the way the app wants, it works great. Pretty tough to use for drives as the camera loses track of the ball, but it works well for Par 3 holes.

Not great. If this is what AI is capable of… I’m not impressed. This App took a great 270 yard drive right down the middle and made it look like a worm burner😕 Yeah I could manipulate the shot to make it look amazing, but that kinda defeats the purpose.

Using for Baseball Flights. Pretty darn good. Please work out how to better zoom and pan in manual mode to set points. Very clumsy in present version trying to track a long ball path. Need ability to pinch/zoom/pan at every ball flight location to smoothly show the ball path. Also, definitely better flight curve holding the video steady in one shot without any camera movement. However, app description implies originally video can have motion (pan/zoom) snd still capture ball path. Doesn’t seem that way though because I’m struggling to not have weird and eratic flight paths when using footage that originally has pan/zoom.

Great app, but can it export in 60fps?. Love the concept of this app. Trying to learn how to do this with other software would’ve been a nightmare and the app is very easy to use. Being the stickler I am, I record my videos in 60fps and after exporting the video I traced with the app I found the video to have exported in less than 60fps, presumably 30. Hopefully this is an easy addition to implement, as this is the only thing I believe that is holding this app from having nothing but 5 star reviews. Even with 30fps export I will gladly subscribe to the app’s premium plan. Big thank you to the creators :)

Can’t render videos - yet, I have a gold subscription through the App Store.. Hey ace trace - I went out and played a round with a friend today and decided to record some videos for tracing. When I went to render a video I edited. It said I need gold in order to render the video. But when I check my subscription in the App Store it says I have gold. What gives?

Awesome app. Usually these apps will either come with some in app, purchases or anything like that but if you just get the app itself now additional things, it does exactly what it says it’s going to do it’s easy to use and I think for anybody who’s going to be in a put together their own real or just look at some stuff for fieldwork this is perfect

Almost Great for Golf!!!. I was using this app for about a day before the latest update released. I get how with disc golf it’s probably really easy to tag a couple spots without the “+” and get a good trace. I was trying this out for golf (didn’t realize until after that it wasn’t it’s intent) and it was working pretty well, but the removal of the “+” made finding the ball really hard and frustrating. I honestly think this could be a great multi purpose app for Golf Shot Tracing as well. There aren’t any with good reviews and I bet you would get a lot of traction there. The “video bundle” section is confusing and makes me not want to pay right away, $1 per video is crazy for the lower tier. But the subscription (gold) model makes a ton of sense, I would just have that or make it the default when you go to pay.

Good end results… Crashes a lot. Just started using this app for golf and it has the desired outcomes though it frequently crashes and for some reason it saves thumbnails in my gallery as all black…

Easy and beautiful. Takes just a few minutes to track an entire hole. Videos turn out great!

Needs Tweak to Make Golf Perfect. This app has potential to be perfect. If they can rework the way you manually track a golf ball, this thing will be flawless. Currently there is a start, finish and two points to create an arch. The issue with this is, if your ball goes high in the frame, it’s impossible to create and arc due to the top editing points going too high. If they could merge the disc golf and golf manual tracker this would solve any issues. Have a start point, an end point, followed by you manually tracking the ball to the peak, then down as far as possible. That might solve the confusing acceleration tool also. The auto track function is cool but needs an enhancement where you can pause and relocate the tracker in case of divots, birds, tee, or anything else that may enter frame. I hope with a subscription based service, the team can continue with updates and upgrades. I have zero issue paying $25 for an entire season of golf and unlimited videos. Everyone else complaining about that should probably find a new hobby.

Premiere quality without the cost. This app is amazing. I want to make videos to see how my discs fly when I test new ones but don’t want to pay for expensive software! This does exactly that! Super easy to use and at a fraction of the cost, I would say it’s better than the higher end versions!

Solid start. It’s a sweet app and it’s so fun to make your own “follow flights”. My only complaint is the rendering ability some flight are simply longer than others and so longish videos over 15 seconds have some rendering time issues but over all this app sweet. Can’t wait to see it improve with updates!

Unfortunate!!. I used to be a big fan of this app. I’ve used it and posted many videos on my social media from it. I recently updated my subscription to silver and paid over $30 but they no longer allow you to save videos to your phone (which was not stated). I’ve reached out to support multiple times to get my money back and have been ignored. Find another tracing app

Best Follow Flight App for Disc Golf. Love this app for the follow flight in disc golf. Auto tracking has had major improvement but still needs work. Ability to handle 4K videos better would be great. Just a few continuous improvement things and this app will certainly be 5 stars!!!

Not worth the $40 a year in its current state. Golf every week at least once and practice on the range. The AI tracer has not once made a good line for me. Manual it will work, but the ability to place the landing point and then shape the curve makes for a buggy and frustrating experience. I think I’ve made maybe 5 videos in the year of paying for this, the other times I said forget it and abandoned the video. Cool concept, but has a way to go before I’d justifying paying for premium

Super expensive it better be good. You get roped in with the free download but it’s a tease you can’t use the app unless you purchase for ….40$!!!…. it seems to work well you better not fail me or I will make it my mission to get this app to zero stars

Preview looks great but not the same after it’s saved. I don’t understand why this happens but the preview tracking line speed is perfect but after saving the video and going to watch it the tracking line starts to speed up when it’s coming back down. Looks unrealistic when it’s tracking it coming back down to the ground.

Cool app! Subscription is a huge turn off. App is very easy to use and does exactly what you want. Looks cool! However, As others have said I was ready to pay $10 or so for it, but it’s only available for a subscription which is crazy expensive ($40 a year are you insane?) for something that has one single function. Will keep an eye on it to see if it changes but for now Ill take my one free one.

Amazing app, great for golf & disc golf.. Absolutely amazing tool, which is offered for a spectacular price, I use it to share shots between friends in online communities that enjoy golf & disc golf, but it could easily be used for content creation as well or teaching even! Great when it works. I’ve had this app a couple of years now and overall it’s worked well for me… until recently. I thought the problem might have been my older phone but I got it upgraded to the newest model and the app has the same problems for me. The automatic disc tracker hasn’t ever worked for me which is fine because I don’t mind doing it manually. What I do mind is how often the app crashes while I’m using it and how some videos simply will not render after over 20 minutes of loading for a 14 second video. If all of the app worked smoothly and the features were a bit better fine tuned and the app stopped crashing every 2 minutes I’d happily buy the yearly subscription again but the value simply isn’t there for the new price point considering how the app has been consistently buggy for me.

Incredible. I believe this one of the best shot tracer apps out there. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting to make golf content from their phone.

Love it.. I’ve only tried using the Auto Trace a couple of times so far. It works great, tracing the ball flight perfectly. 4 Stars only because I haven’t used it enough yet.

Could be successful if they lower their price for service.. Tracking is alright most of the time. I used the one free trial that you can save to your phone, I just think way too expensive for the product, if they decreased the price down from $100 dollars a year and let users have more trials then could be more successful, I would like to further explore this app and use it for videos and vlogs but just too expensive, would recommend if service/product was cheaper.

Need a pinch option and less pop up for rating. Love the app needs some work, such as if a shot is so high I need to pinch the video out and struggle with that and it stuffs up the line. So a pinch zoom option would be awesome. Also the fact it asks for a rating every second you want to edit is very annoying so that’s why I’ve left a lower rating as I’m trying to edit a few videos and it’s frustrating.

No live tracking. It only works when you add a video...meaning it's useless for on the course.

Too expensive. Neat idea, but since the work is being done on device it's not worth the subscription price. If it was a one time price I'd consider it, but the yearly subscription price is too expensive.

Worked at first.. This app worked well to begin with, and now when I select a video to apply a tracer to it won’t leave the tracer select screen.

Free app but not free to use. Doesn’t work unless you buy the subscription. Absolute ripoff these guys are charging 50 bucks a year for this. Spent like 30 mins getting my tracer exactly how I wanted just to find out I can’t even save it to camera roll, let alone screen record it. Very Misleading, would be nice if there was a disclaimer BEFORE you start tracing your golf ball for 30 mins.

A must for disc golf!. Amazing app…. If you take videos of disc golfing this is a must to have in your phone. It allows you to see your flight pattern and improve your game because of it. I highly recommend this!

Miles ahead of shot tracer. It allows manual changing of the line. So easy to use and worth the subscription.

Poor display. App doesn’t fit the screen size properly. Can’t see the buttons around the edge. Poor design, not made for all phones.

Great App. The app costs a yearly subscription but I use it to make recreational YouTube videos. I specifically use the app to add tracers and it takes me about 10-15 minutes to trace 6 shots aka one hole of 3 golfers. So far this is the easiest way I have found to add tracers etc.

Easy peasy. This app is great, I don’t use it often and only use it for disc golf but it does everything I want it too besides throw the shot for me.

Can’t even test without buying. The app will let you put together a single video but you can’t save the video without. Using a subscription. How do it know if I even like it if I can’t save a video. At least a week trial would be nice to see if I want to spend my hard earned money on a silly app that I don’t need.

Great app for tracing shots no matter what you do. I use this app for social media to trace my disc golf shots, but not matter what you do you can add some spice to your edits with ace trace!

Love it! Here are my suggestions. First this is an amazing app. Intuitive, easy to use and good results. Obviously using camera trackers like those in editing software like After Effects, Mocha Pro, etc… give more professiyresults, but this app kills it for what it does! Great job! For improvements, I would say give users the option to trim, cut, and add minor effects, add audio track or commentary in some kind of timeline toolbar. Otherwise, excellent work! -Nick

Innacurate. I’ve been taking videos of my buddies hit golf balls and Ace Trace has only worked once when using it. The line goes in the total opposite direction than where the ball actually went. I would recommend using an app called SmootheSwing instead. This app deserves 2 stars.

Seems to work but locked behind $$ paywall. Wish there was a trial or free with watermark usage for this app. The price seems too steep for something I’m not sure would fully work for all my shots as it’s primarily me setting my own start and finish lines rather than tracking.

Awesome and Easy. Seriously easy and well put together! It would be cool to add a feature that highlights or marks the disc golf basket so you can see where the disc is heading.

Very cool. Very cool app, easy to use. Not a fan of a subscription style funding. Rather pay one price. Subscription seems more fitting something that is consistently offering new features or info on a regular basis.

Crashing. Man since when does this app cost this much and what’s the point of the original gold plan literally none of the features were available without upgrading

Never works. Using the AI, half the time the ball doesn’t render- and when it does, it’s never accurate. Haven’t had a video with the landing point correctly. You shouldn’t have to do so much manual stuff on it (which never works) even after the AI is supposed to track it for you

Track with Ai is horrible. The app has really done downhill in the last year. The Track with Ai feature never works and it asks me to manually trace which is so much more work, what’s the point of paying for the app at that point.

Love. This app is so much fun. Let’s you feel like you’re really good at disc golf. A negative distance would be hilarious. I hit the first tree and landed behind the teepad. Goodness.

Cool app but the paywall is way too extreme for such a mediocre app. Can’t even use the app and download videos from it without paying at least $20. Not gong to pay $20 for something I’m going to use that’s just alright quality. Won’t let you screen record either.

Golf shots. This app blows for golf shots. It is extremely annoying to create an arc for golf shots. Anytime you move the arc, the landing point of the shot moves. You should be able to pick the start point and end point, then create an arc from there.

Love the follow flight. Super fast and easy does a great job. Excited to see the automatic version update and how well it works

Terrible app. The app itself works fine but I have to pay just to save my video with the stupid water mark on there. This should be free and all you did was put a line where my ball went. You don’t need $40 a year for that. I’d maybe pay $5 for something so basic and the AI tracking it just trash.

Easy to Use. Whether tracing an S-shot in disc golf, or a beautiful chip shot in ball golf, the adjustable curve is amazing, and very customizable in size and color as well.

This is great. It’s amazing to be able to do this on my own with limited video editing experience. Only thing is I wish it didn’t downsize my 4K GoPro footage! Other than that it’s great.

You need to get this app. If you are a golf player and you like to trace your golf ball this is the right app to use it tracks the yards and also it is accurate to trace your golf ball

Way over priced.. For the cost of a 6 month subscription I would have expected much better app. The cost of a 6 month subscription should buy the app permanently. Will not renew or recommend this until the price significantly drops.

Golf beta. Golf beta preview is ok. I do want to see some changes on user friendly. You have to trace the ball yourself. I though the app did that?
