Awesome app, easy to use, and surprisingly FREE. I was fully expecting to have to pay to save my video or pay to get a watermark off, I was shocked when it was 100% free! I would absolutely pay for this app if there was a paid option to simply remove ads, not because the ads are annoying but because the developer deserves it.

Exactly what I needed. I shoot art nude photography and occasional video content especially behind the scenes timelapse. I needed a simple and easy way to blur nudity for social media and this app was simple, free, easy to use and accomplished what I needed. Highly recommend for quick blurring of video clips.

User friendly. First time using and it’s really easy to use. The only drawback is that I cannot move the blue strength bar, it’s at the top and when I’m trying to blur something in the top right, it’s a bit hard. Would be an improvement to be able to move the scroll bar around. Other than this - fantastic app. Ease of use, quick response time, no glitches so far. Very pleased!

Excellent Function. I needed to record a small video sequence that unfortunately included some personal details. In order to use the video, I needed a blur tool that allowed me to test the function without signing up for a trial or buying the product. This did it. I don’t care about ads being shown to me. If it helps the developer for their work, it’s fine, so long as it doesn’t interrupt my workflow. Great job! I particularly like that I can not only adjust the strength of the blur, but also the shape and length of time it is active.

So far so great!. I haven't used it a lot but so far so good - no complaints. I would like to rate it later once I have used it more. But there was a popup when I went to save which asked me to rate. If I change my mind for the 5 stars, I'll be back.

Easy to use, works great. I had been searching for an app that would let me quickly and easily blur portions of video. This one worked way better than any other I tried and made it simple to do multiple blurs in a timeline.

Decent App. This app is well made. It does not have a lot of functionality, although if your sole intention is to blur video then this is your best bet. It is much easier to blur stationary objects though. If you want to blur something else that moves a lot in the videos, it is very tedious. The app could make that process easier by having a ln automated blue for moving objects that can be tweaked manually to ensure full coverage. Outside of that, there are very few ads, it works as advertised, and is free. It doesn’t get better for a free app.

JUST WOW!. I have only made a few but so far this is 10/10! I was able to move and make the blur-circle bigger along with the video and it’s so simple and easy. This is very well made for a free app and I have no regrets downloading it. I would definitely recommend! Minimum adds and honestly, it’s probably the best free blur app i’ve downloaded! 😍😍

Video blur. Just needed to blur an object in a video and this software worked great and was easy to use. I was prompted to allow access to my photos/videos or select one. I opted to select one and played the video to where I needed to add the blur effect and with one tap it placed it on the video and I used the arrows to size it and saved it. Doesn’t get any easier than that

Revamped. Once you done your edits and go to save, most of the time it fails. I feel that if you have to reset your phone in order for the app to work appropriately, it should shaved your all your edits until you delete the video from the files in the app. But after it fails you have to restart all over even after spending more then 20 plus minutes at a time editing the video.

Rating. When I got this app, I needed it for a video and expected it to be meh- but it is AMAZING. It had a blurring tool AND a pile sting tool which are both incredibly helpful while editing. They are very easy to use and with video, you can glide the blur across the screen easily. Love this app. 100% rating.

i love this app!. it’s the best and the easiest to navigate when it comes to video blurring. i use it to blur my 18+ content and it does the job, is fast and simple, and best of all FREE. i think there may be in-app purchases for extra things but other than that the blurring features are completely free and easy to use.

Good app. No bate and switch , I needed something quick and simple to blur something in the video and this let you do it intuitively I didn’t read any documentation to watch any videos, took me about three minutes to blur some thing that was moving around the screen

Shockingly powerful. I post videos of development websites for non-owners to look at, but I want the URLs to be blurred. Unfortunately when taking mobile videos Apple has decided to move the domain area up and down as you scroll up and down. You can create key frames and maximize the viewable parts and still block the constantly moving URL. Just an amazing app!!!

Can’t believe this is free!. It’s very easy to use; easy to save your edited videos; and I especially like the flexibility of being able to change the size, shape, and location of the blurred area to track the movement during the video. Great app!

Need a blur app. Very easy to set up and get going. At the first attempt at saving it failed but it automatically took me to feedback and I got an email within minutes to restart my phone. After this it worked perfectly.

Does the job. Wish it could track faces/objects automatically instead of having to move the blur with the object, and wish I could select blur strength independently for each individual blur, but for what it is, it does the job in user friendly way for free with minimal ads.

User Friendly. Surprising intuitive and delivers on its functional purpose. Most apps play this game of fees and signing up and bonus features. This app is straight forward and helpful 💕❤️‍🔥 Blur whatever you want for however long you want and then put it all together.

Free & No Watermark. I’ve used this app to edit several videos throughout university. Submitting a video with a watermark on it is out of the question and spending money for a software to blur things out is tough with a college budget. This app is easy to use, free, and exports so easily!

Great Blur Effect App. I’ve tried a couple of other blur effect for videos apps, and this one hands down is the best!!! A lot easier to use, and when I sent an email to Alan (developer), he responded so quickly. I highly recommend this app!!! 🤩

Perfecto. I wanted to blur a specific part and this app worked just great and i like that i could change the shape of it, only thing is when i was adjusting the blur it made keyframes which showed when i was adjusting it but it worked fine in the end!

What’s the catch?. This is an amazing app! Everything you’d want it to be. My favorite part is how you can have the blur follow whoever or whatever you want it to. But I’ve been scorned one too many times with apps like this. What’s the catch? Am I only going to be able to do two or three and then my “free trial” is up and I have to pay $15 a month or something? If not, then a truly perfect app!

Very easy and user friendly!. This app is awesome, it is so easy to use the tools available and the quality of the video is maintained. I highly recoomend this app for any video bluring that result in looking like a professional service completed it.

Pretty incredible. As a teacher, I want to make sure my students aren’t recognizable when I share great things they’re doing on the internet. This app is soooo adjustable and easy to use, even when the camera moves around the room!

Honest opinion. I think this app is great, it’s very easy to blur out your face or others faces in videos you need. But, if you accidentally get rid of the tan on your phone, there is no way to save your progress. Just a second ago, I finished a video, and then the app kicked me out, I go back and there is none of my editing is there. So that’s very annoying. But other then that I think this app is great!

It’s a very good value. The app does everything that you want to, except save a work in progress. As at least one other person has mentioned, the UI can be tricky. It’s easy to hit the wrong button for extending a blur and having it move the entire blur. On my second day of using this, I found that I was extending blurs more accurately, than dragging accidentally. As a free program, it’s well worth the download effort. It does one thing and it does it very well and there should be more apps out there that provide the basic functionality like this app does that are free.

Exactly what you expect. Works as intended, helping users blur parts of videos. It's surprisingly easy to use and gives the user plenty of control on how they want to blur the video. Also, it's free. Don't waste your time/money anywhere else. Mac compatibility has all the important functions working, so no issues here.

The app does its job!. I always run into apps that say they do certain things and don’t but this app isn’t like that. I downloaded and immediately within 5 minutes I had my video blurred the exact way I wanted. Very satisfied and I have no complaints.

Exactly what I wanted. Quick, intuitive, no upselling, no watermark, no noticeable loss of video quality on export. One suggestion would be an “undo” button and an ability to zoom in to the timeline for more precise editing. But, I can’t complain, it’s free and wonderful!

Really nice. I need a quick and dirty solution and that’s what this is. Not a lot of other junk to get in the way and I like that. Would be nice if you could pinch and zoom into the video to work a little precisely or at the very least go full screen landscape. Otherwise thanks.

Works like a charm!. We have a foster child and we are not permitted to upload pictures or videos of her. Unfortunately a friend didn’t know this and recorded a birthday video with her clearly visible. We downloaded this app, dropped a blur over her and presto, perfect video in less that 60 seconds. You’re awesome!

Good and Bad. Good - Blur Video Mac makes it easy to add blur to faces in video - by hand, frame by frame. Bad - The blur does not automatically figure out to stay with a face moving through the video until I dragged the blur over the face in several spots, which can be rather painstaking process, particularly for a long video. Would prefer to put the blur over the face once and the app figure out to have the blur stay with the moving face throughout the video. Could be better - "Save" added the video to the photos app instead of saving to a location in the Finder. Not a bid deal - I will just have to remember to turn off wifi when saving and then immediately move the video to my hard drive and remove from Photos before turning wifi back on so that large videos do not automatically get added to the iCloud. Good - The rest of 4K videos remains unchanged after blur added, unlike some other censor apps that save (downgrade) 4k videos to 1080p.

Great!. Works really well for adding blurring or pixelation to specific areas in videos. Handles moving the blur around when the subject is moving very nicely. The only complaint I have is when you need to blur something at the very top of the screen, the UI gets in the way…. Otherwise it’s great!

Simple, Focused, and Great. I downloaded this app to share a screen recording with tech support that otherwise would show sensitive personal information. The Blur-Video app interface was simple and intuitive, allowing me to figure out how to use its features without having to “learn” anything new. I accomplished my editing quickly and easily. Very good at simple blurring tasks, and I’m sure others with more practice can get a lot more out of it. Thank you for a quality app needed in a pinch!

Great intuitive utility. Very happy with this app. I tried the developer’s background app first, but this is the tool I needed. The save to photos seemed much faster at high quality than some built in apps. Finally, I found the best phone / tablet software on the market for performing blurs without having to join a rando chat or posting app to make it work,!further risking our privacy to possibly sell or ransom our unblurred and blurred versions. Very satisfied worth an annual subscription if needed, thank you.!👍

Seems legit. Needed an app to edit some videos that have already been made. Was informed of this app and gave it shot. The first (and only video done at the time of writing this) was very easy to edit. The blur feature worked well and didn’t interfere with the content of the video. Definitely looking forward to using it some more.

Awesome App. Editing videos is super easy. For some reason it wouldn’t allow me to save them unless I freed up space on my phone, weird, because I can take tons more videos with the space I have. I did end up deleting unused and old apps no longer needed and it saved the videos with no issues. As a student teacher, confidentiality is critical and I needed these videos. Except for that, this is a great app.

Satisfying App!!!. Absolutely love this app! I'm very big on protecting my child especially from creeps on social media. I love the fact I can take a picture or video, use this app to blur it and it's still decent quality. It makes me feel a little better about sharing pictures now☺️

Privacy Concern. I downloaded this app and the very first thing that pops up with no option to skip is a message requesting access to my entire photo library “for the best experience possible”.. I deleted it immediately. This app should give the option to select which photos/videos you would like to use versus just giving it access to your entire library! I downloaded MovStash instead which allowed me to select which videos/photos I wanted to edit. Maybe this app does work well, but I’m not willing to risk my privacy.

i love this app !. I was trying to make a video and I didn’t want someone’s face coming out in it so I download this app and a bunch of others but the others weren’t working and they just did it come out the way that I wanted the video to come out, once I tried this one the video was perfect and I got the video how I wanted it and how I wanted it to look. so I really think this app is amazing and really convenient I love it <3!

Easier to use than other video blurring apps. I found this app to be a lot more intuitive than similar apps. The controls are easy, the UI is simple, and the timeline option for multiple blurs helps a lot. This app helps me stay safe on the Internet. Thank you, developers! ❤️

Ruined my life. I blame this app for the reason I lost my family. I got so frustrated because I anytime I would go to cut the end or beginning of a blur, the app would think I was trying to move the entire blur, moving and messing up a bunch of key frames that took me hours to meticulously place. I needed to blur my clips tho so I had to endure the struggle. This lead me to turn to booze. At first it was just a single coors light to ease the frustration as I edited my clips. But after time went on one turned to 2, 2 turned to 3. It wasn’t untill I got up to 12 brews a day untill I needed something stronger as this app had dung under my skin like a flesh burrowing scarab. So I became best friends with my good ol pal Jack. Daniel’s that is. I drank a handle a night just to get by. My wife couldn’t take it any more so she took the kids to go live with her parents. Now here I sit, completely obliterated on a Tuesday morning surrounded by a pile of un washed laundry smashing a novel of a review on a stupid video editing app. But hey, I get to eat pizza every night so who am I to complain🥲

So far so great!. Had a video I needed to create for a product review campaign of which a minor is in. Wanted to conceal the child’s identity while keeping as much of the quality to showcase the product as possible. Easy to learn how to do, saved instantly and is perfect! This is the first project I’ve created with this app. As of this moment I definitely recommend! 👏🏾👏👏🏼

Powerful tool. It took me a couple of tries to get the hang of the key frames but the slight learning curve is well worth it. Given the app’s support for adjustable blur length and for multiple blurs, it’s hard to imagine ways to significantly improve the process. My only wish is the ability to export a video with its original quality intact. I will primarily use this to prepare clips for use in another editor and I regret the fact that Blur Video exports will be different from other originals.

Low barrier to entry. I was able to download the app and blur a video within five minutes with some trial and error. If anything, the quickest little tutorial may have helped; I didn’t know I could only drag the cursor by holding 2 fingers to the screen. Still quick!

This app is amazing and does exactly intended. Honestly not much else to say. I was looking for an app that can blur my face on certain videos, all to maintain privacy. Wow! I’m really impressed with what a free app can do! I think what I’m most impressed about is the app’s tracking system on its blur. Once you move the cursor/blur symbol around to where you want it, it does a great job on keeping up with moving objects/ and people in the video. Would definitely recommend!

Blue background app. The reason I downloaded this app today was because I needed something to blur out a license plate and I didn’t want it to be exposed, and this app did very well and. Thanks for that, will use this app again when needed one of my new favorite apps

Great for video. Tracking blur over motion is easy peasy with this app. Where other apps have you dragging the blur object with your finger, the app lets you set the start and end points of a given vector, and will automatically move the blur across that direct path. Easy to make deviations as well for those edge cases.

Awesome video blurring app!. Exactly what I was looking for, so simple to use and much better at blurring or pixelating than other apps out there. Only point I can say is if we can have the option to rotate the blur/pixel but apart from that nothing to nitpick.

Does what it says on the box easily and without fuss.. His is a good app - does what it says on the box: allows you to select and blue or pixelate areas of videos allowing use of them on Twitter or other spicy sites. The app is no fuss, doesn’t watermark your videos (if you pay a small fe and doesn’t seem to send your camera roll to some Nigerian scamlord. Good app. Five stars.

Intuitive and exactly what I needed. This is the fourth app I used to complete a short video project. Miles in front to apply a blur and manage/adjust the edit. Truely impressed.

Super useful. Free.. This app is perfect for people who value privacy but don’t want to spend a load of money of editing software. Blurring/Pixelating feature is simple, app is easy to navigate and free. I used the app to blur people and car number plates in videos and the app works perfectly for both. Only thing thing I would change is the ability to zoom into a video to be able to blur something more precisely.

Amazing 🤩. Does what it does. I was making an unboxing video and sadly got my face into a bit of it. I downloaded Blur-Video, and BAM! I pixelated my face and we couldn’t even see my face! We could only tell my hair is black. Thank you sm Blur-Video, you helped me a lot. :) I didn’t need to use it but we also got to animate the blur to our face so if we are moving we can still blur our face! I use CapCut to edit but if you want to blur something out you have to use a sticker, and the sticker doesn’t match the lighting that I don’t like. There’s also a feature where you can blur it but it blurs the entire thing. I want to blur my face only. This helps so much, thank you Blur-Video. Easy to blur objects in a video. It doesn’t auto detect the object to pin the blur, but you can easily drag it through the video.

Use this for work all the time. So easy to use and export. Doesn’t reduce quality. Best video blur app I’ve used and I’ve tried many. No adds (like the flood of them on other similar apps). The blur can be isolated and not the whole video. Like for example a face. Or juice jug. If your into juice. And use key frames to have the blur follow the subject. I’d give it a 14/10. Don’t hesitate or waste time looking further. Install this yesterday.

This app is great and all but it’s lacking one thing…. I love this all but it would be so much better if there was a feather tool so the edges of the blurs aren’t so sharp.

I like the way, how you can apply blur by zoom in/out on the timeline and quickly moving along the timeline. very intuitive and easy to do. nice slider to change grateful Blur and pixelation big no go: edited video is getting bigger, so file size is very enormous prevention successful saving; After unsuccessful safe, it said, go to settings and decrease quality, however, to get to settings, you need to exit from video edit, and you lose all your work. if you accidentally close application, it doesn’t preserve the current state(like iMovie); Can you add a automatic blindfold?

Most easily editable and accurately blurred. Tried multiple apps to blur faces but they either blurred too much broadly or blurred inconsistently. This app allows you to edit the blurring of moving targets easily

Surprisingly quick and easy. Took a minute to figure out how to move the blur with a video but it was quick and easy.

Life saving. I love the app, simple to use, but would be nice to have a slow-motion playback option so you could control the blur by second a lot easier. Otherwise, no complaints and only good things to say about it.

Best app for blurring people or objects in video. I recommend this out to everyone, lots of my friends have used it. I frequently post video that needs to have faces blurred for peoples protection. This app is intuitive and easy to use and very fast.

Bluring a student out of a video. I love the way I can adjust the blur ! I have a student that can be in the video and it makes it easy for me to blur her out ! She always seems to be in the view of videos .

So far so Good. Hopefully the app is just as compatible with an iPad. But with the iPhone it’s pretty simple and easy to meister navigate. The ads are annoying, but they seem to only pop up when you’re reopening the app or saving a video

Worked exactly for what I needed. I had to blur three seconds of an almost three minute video and this worked amazingly.

Trying and error/ works great/time consuming. Takes a little trying and error to get the hang of it but works great. I highly recommend. It is time consuming and need complete focus to do a great job.

Like how the app works. The app has been working exactly how I needed it to. To blur out my address in a video. Took some time to get used it it but I’m glad I stuck with it because it hasn’t costed a monthly fee like most apps

Pretty great app. It does what it needs to do, is super easy to use, and is free and not obnoxious with ads. Biggest problem is there is a piece of the user interface (blur strength) that overlaps the video most of the time and it gets in the way. Still, would highly recommend the app.

Great for novices. Really intuitive app. I could figure it out pretty quickly. I encountered no glitches or bugs. I find a lot of these apps will short circuit and crash often but this one is reliable.

Overall does it’s job. The circle and rectangle blur is a very useful feature, but if there was some camera tracking to make it lock onto a certain thing like in a video it would be so much easier to blur.

Awesome App for Videos. Straightforward and easy to use. Just make sure your video isn’t too long or else you’ll need to cut it down. My 6 min video kept failing to save until I cut it into 3 smaller ones. Aside from that, I love the app! Great quality, def recommend 👍🏻

easy to use & actually works. it’s super easy to use and actually works, the option between blur and pixelated is nice as well the only reason i gave it 4 stars and not 5 is bc i wish there was a better way to get the blur/pixel to stay on a specific spot throughout a video instead of dragging the video practically frame by frame and then keyframing that spot so throughout a video it appears as it is stuck to that spot other then that i would’ve given it 5 stars

Just what I needed. I had license plates in my videos and needed an app that allowed me to blur multiple moving parts and this allowed me to do it without 20 adds and makes it so easy.

Good!. Takes a little getting used to, but very good!! I wish you could just use the blue like a sticker and keep it over a moving object, but this works just as well.

Perfect!!!. My only gripe is the Strength toggle setting, it’s in the way when the item I want to blur out is at the very top (middle). Also, the strength volume could be more blurred. Other than that. This app is everything I need!

Clutch app. This app has so far been Uber reliable and that’s hard to find. As long as they keep it fast with no bugs, with privacy and encryption in mind and free I will sing its praises and use it until Lord Zedd comes back!

Best free blur tool app. Exactly what it says it does and free. You don’t sit there and edit and hit save only to find out you have to pay to proceed. For that reason alone I’m actually rating this app. 5 stars.

Amazingly Easy on MacBook w/ M1 Chip. So quick, so easy to blur faces and objects in videos. It would be nice if there was the ability to move frame-by-frame, but still sooooo much easier than the online methods for doing the same in iMovie.
