Disappointed. I’ve been using this app for a while and while I don’t post things, I comment, offer advice and have also made connections. Earlier, I received an email stating my account was removed by the host with no reason attached as to why my account was removed.

Very helpful app. I found this app through a Facebook page. Very informative and very helpful when you are just learning.

NOT A FREE APP. Listed as free but when I open the app I can not get past the opening page without a form of payment.

I’m not paying for a subscription when I can’t even open the app. I can’t even get past the first page after you sign in it says you have to pay for some type of subscription I’m not doing that but it won’t even let me push cancel there’s no cancel button or x

Better than Facebook groups.. I’ve only had the app for a short time, but the online presence is super positive and welcoming. Compared to many Facebook groups? Worth the subscription.

Confused?. It let me on without paying the subscription… then it brought me all the way back like I hadn’t made an account and says I have to buy it to even open it up, even though it let me press a “not now” button before.

Love the app as much as the Facebook group. I found spells,herbs,stones & oils witchcraft 101 on Facebook. When I learned they had an app in the store I bought the year. It’s well worth it. There’s a lot of posts, information and things to learn on this app. I am very happy I found it!

Pay before even seeing the rest of the app?. I really wanted to try this app and next thing I know I create an account, and it says I can pay for an ad-free experience. I logged out and closed the app to try and get off the screen and nothing worked I couldn’t use the app without paying so I decided to not pay and just delete the app. If you offer an ad-free experience I feel there should be the option to use the app with adds. I’ve seen other reviews saying this from a year ago and there has been no response or change to the app.

Updates. Hey! I love this app, but someone mentioned making the app more personalization accessible to our profiles as well as making the messaging system better to where we can send stuff in pics to our friends. I thought it was a good idea and maybe wanted to mention it to the creators of the app. (:

Subscription. Paid for a year subscription a couple months ago and now I’m locked out until I pay for another month

Account removed after buying year’s subscription. I had not not posted anything and got removed after buying subscription. The email told me to make a new account. If I make a new account and have to pay subscription to see any posts that means I pay every time I login if they remove my account for no reason. Have sent email to find out why but I want a refund. This is a scam.

Great app!. I had some issues at first getting the app to allow me to create an account. I’m not sure what that was about, but I was finally able to make one. I’m enjoying scrolling through and seeing people like me! Like with most forms of social media, you still have to be careful with information people pass on. Overall, a great way to connect with other witches! ✨

All you need in one place. This is such a great app for beginners like myself, it has everything from spell work to oils! It’s such a great community as well that it excites me to watch and be apart of it expanding!

Subscription Only/No Free Features. You can only use the app if you subscribe for $2/mo. There aren’t any basic features you can use for free. As soon as you sign up, you’re prompted to subscribe. The prompt continues to show up even after reopening the app.

Seriously. I downloaded this app and made a profile MONTHS ago! And it was completely free. No .99 cent monthly subscription or anything. I found it VERY helpful while learning my craft and made pen pals etc but I log on today and it tells me now I have to have a subscription? Even though it’s under a $1 a month, I can’t afford that nor would I pay for social media. Very sad to see the one witchy social media go…

Greatest app ever. This is the best app ever even better than Facebook. I am finding all kinds of things already and learning so much more. I am also meeting the nicest people ever who are true and real. I am so very happy and really enjoy it. I highly recommend this app to any witches that are looking to connect and share information with real people.

Can’t use without subscription. It won’t let you get past the option to subscribe for no add without paying for it. The only other options are to logout or delete your account. Disappointed

Great for witches/warlocks of all mastery. This app is like the Facebook for the magic world. I’ve learned so much and connected with so many people ❤️

Content Locked Behind A Paywall. I downloaded this app and registered for an account and got a page that said that I needed to subscribe for $1.99 a month in order to “access ad-free content in the app” but unfortunately it doesn’t seem as though there’s any option to enjoy the app for free WITH ads. There isn’t any option to close out of that screen and I’ve even tried hard closing the app and logging out and going back in and I’m still not able to access anything without agreeing to be charged monthly. I wanted to use this app because I joined the corresponding Facebook group and it seemed like a cool resource but it looks like I won’t be using this app after all.

Stop The Manual Subscription. Honestly the point of the subscription as written on the app is to be ad free, but because it forces you to buy the subscription that means the app isn’t actually using ads to begin with. The terminology just looks pleasing but is actually lying to you since there isn’t actually any option to use the app with ads. This dishonesty makes me question the apps creators. They don’t seem like very trustworthy people if they have to spin a yarn right off the bat like that. Doesn’t make me feel comfortable giving them any of my info. Please be careful if you’re buying from them.

Facebook, for Witches. I’ve been enjoying the app for about three days now. While it could be improved by separate feeds for each individual, I do understand why the Admins went the route of mandatory group feeds and it hasn’t detracted from my experience (thus the rating). My additional suggestion would be to allow users to create additional groups, or to at least provide a “general” group for everyday happenings of a more mundane variety for selfies, daily updates, and similar content. However I am really enjoying the exclusively witchy content that is being shared! I will be a long-time subscriber.

Paywall before I even see the app?. I can understand a subscription don’t get me wrong, but at least offer like a 1-3 day trial so people can get a feel for it first. I’ve had several apps of this nature and haven’t liked all of them, so I don’t wanna waste the money if I can’t even get a taste of what there is to offer. I get it, it’s only 2 bucks but it’s the principle of it. From previous reviews people have made comments like it’s dull, or lackluster. If I have a mandatory sub, it should offer something other free social with platforms don’t. I may be back with an ad option or a free sub to see for myself, but deleted it so fast.

Admin. I have reset my password and can’t access it says account is disabled

Future Updates?. The idea of a witchy social media app is fantastic and I’m glad I found it. Off the bat, I’d like to mention the mandatory subscription you have to have in order to use the app. Luckily it’s very cheap and I understand the developers need to make money somehow. After that though, the app seems a little dull but the people I’ve interacted with have been very pleasant. I’m giving 5 stars because it seems like a newer app and I HOPE to see more in the future of the overall layout and way the app works. Like maybe allowing people profiles to have a bio section, a background photo and a better newsfeed layout. Add more diverse groups or a better area to just post random things instead of it needing to be in a specific group. If I want to just post a cute photo of my altar or what’s making me feel witchy at the moment, it’s hard to decide what group to post it. Overall I think it’s a great start and I really hope to see more from the app in the future!

Read the info first- sub required. I missed the bit in the info where a sub is required to view anything. I mean - no qualms about subs I guess, to each their own, but as a solitary who is only into herbalism and not finding a coven, I’d rather stick to the plethora of free information online. Blessed be everyone~

Slow start but great group.. It takes a couple of minutes to get onto the app, to post anything and to check notifications. Otherwise I enjoy the community and the sharing of information.

Wonderful Community. This app has a wonderful community of amazing witches. It’s very organized and feel very safe. There’s rarely if ever a time that anyone will say anything negative or judge you. It’s a learning zone full of witches from all different back grounds and levels of experience. And the admins are so involved! I love it!

help. i just downloaded this app, i was very excited, but after i got done making my account it brought me to this screen where it tells you about the monthly subscription, i don’t know if it’s just me and im too dumb to figure out how to get off this screen, or if i have to buy the subscription in order to use the app?? There’s no X button or a way to get out of this subscription screen, please help!! Or make a more obvious way for me to get out so i can actually use the app!!

Amazing. Not only is the app easy to use but the creator is AMAZING!! Everything is laid out perfectly for you to navigate. It’s nice to be able to connect with others with the same path as you. The Witchcraft 101 community is talented, educational and it feels like home.

Horrible app.. This app was so good before! As a baby witch, it gave me so much info and a chance to connect with other witches. And now there’s a paywall. Shameful. I’m not willing to pay for an app that was once free. Enjoy your money, greedy pest.

Pay wall. Are you kidding? What started off as a free to connect to other wiccans is now barred behind a pay wall/monthly subscription fee. No thank you. the interface was rather basic anyways. Uninstalling.

Amazing and helpful!. I found this app when starting my witchy journey and it has been so helpful! I’ve been using all the tools given in the app to help learn about everything and building my grimoire plus I have been able to connect with other witches in my area! Definitely get this app!

This app is witchin’. I’m new to the craft and this app is so great. It’s wonderful for searching and having a community on hand!

It’s helpful but it crashes on me a lot. I love the different groups on here. There is a lot of information to help grow your craft and find new things you may not have thought of to tweak and modify to fit to yourself. I just have issues with it crashing on me or loading slow.

Pay wall. When you say there is a subscription to access the whole app, what you really mean to say is you can’t even get IN to see what your paying for. While the monthly fee is only $1.99, I try not to spend my money frivolously and buying something without even getting to see what I’m buying is irresponsible. Reading through other reviews there are many who feel the same way. Why not at least offer a free trial so people can at least see what the app has to offer before agreeing to a monthly subscription? Just seems a waste to offer a community for witches but throw a pay wall in their face after creating their account.

Very disappointed as a Vendor. I joined the community and it was freaking awesome! I own my own witchy business and thought being a vendor here would be great. I joined up and paid for the pro vendor package. 2-3 days went by and I hadn’t even received a email verification but they had pulled the money from my account. I had to email them and notify them. Still took me over a week to get a badge. I was NEVER added to the either marketplace or added to Facebook group for exposure that I paid for. I had to email multiple times and never got a response. It made me sad because I loved this app and the community and I had grown into a nice influence and big part of it. I finally broke down after they had charged me AGAIN.. i finally emailed yet again and I had to contact my legal team to get ahold of theirs for a refund for both payments after never receiving all that’s mentioned. Heartbroken I quit supporting the app and I miss it. They refunded me very quickly without any explanation but i would’ve much rather had them just add me to the marketplace so I could’ve stay apart of the community.. 0/10 recommend. 😭

No Trial before Monthly Payments. I had no idea this wasn’t a free social media app until signing up. Even though that sucks… I’d definitely still be interested to see what it has to offer… if I knew what it was before I bought it! This should have a free week long trial, but I’m immediately met with a pay wall. I’m disappointed because I was interested, I just don’t want to pay for something unknown.

Scammish... There is nothing without a subscription, so unless you plan on subscribing without seeing a preview of what content is available it’s a waste of a download.

Seems like a scam to me. Not only does it ask you to pay $1.99 / month to use the app but it also won’t let you delete your account without weird notifications, followed by it asking you to enter your password in all caps (why?! Nowhere I’ve ever seen asks you to enter a password in all caps to delete it.) Might not be a big deal but definitely seems like a scam to me. You download the app, allowing it to gain access to your device as well as accepting their terms and agreements (that we hardly ever read over ahead of time) only to create a username and password and get hit with a paywall you can’t opt out of. I’d give no stars if I could.
