Application Review. From State-of-Idaho. Have family/friends in Canon City. Non-incarcerated and professional LEO’s in that community. 🤭 (wanted to make that clear). So, I apply and when successful that’s where I go. I found the on-line process with your app excellent. Wouldn’t change a thing in my humble opinion. It just seems easier to apply in Colorado w/ the app than prior years. The whole process from start to finish for me was just great. The other positive issue were the local fish cops in that jurisdiction. Always were available even if not on shift and very helpful & positive people. I had an inside hook due to the people I know in CC but still they are a great people.

CPW app. This app is great I’ve had experience where I have been without my physical license etc. and the app has all l need. It’s very convenient you can purchase new license and update when you don’t have time to go to physical location etc.

Can’t handle secure passwords. I kept getting a “password required” error while trying to log into the app despite being able to log into the website with the same password. I changed my password to a shorter 10-character password and was able to log in. The app must be truncating or rejecting passwords with special characters or passwords of a certain length.

Disappointed. If you interrupt the account creation step because you have a profile with the same info detected then it should find the profile when you sign in. I used the right CIC number and password. Get the app straight

CPW App is Excellent. This is easy to use. We have no reason to carry the paper reservations anymore. Great job CPW!!

Log in. It’s kinda funny to me how Colorado is the only state not listed on the drop down menu while trying to log in. Lol I’d rather just carry the license I pay for since CPW can afford to run an app, but take away the CPW app so many people used and invest their money into things not important.

Great. Made a lot of stuff way better then the website. I wish you could submit applications and everything on the app

Quite useful. Despite being a product related to a government agency this app is fantastic. Usefully linked to relevant publications for reference and a great way to have a backup for most (but not all) hunting and fishing licenses.

Support????. I tried the app, can’t sign in and I don’t get responses with the forgotten password Tried to get app support and it takes me to their shop page which does not have anything related to support for the app that I could find Not worth the download

Ticket for easy state park admission. This app easily stores your state park passes for easy admission.

New CPW App. This would be great if it had integrated the ability to purchase your license without going to a browser and having to login. Otherwise, why isn’t it in the My Colorado app? Close but just not complete by the standard it was advertised as. Not a fan until it actually is a complete app.

Disabled Veteran. Filled out an application for lifetime combo small game and fishing license for disabled veterans. Waited a few days for the application to be processed… no response, no license. Called the central office. The ONLY person processing special applications is out on extended leave for greater than 4months. How is that an acceptable practice for an organization of that size? There’s not a single person in CPW that can verify VA status, Residency status, and Hunter education simultaneously? It takes all but a minute to open the application, verify the attached documents, and issue either a notice of rejection or a license. Do the job you are paid to do. Serve the tax payers (and veterans) that have served you. Do better. Be better.

Go back to the drawing board. Hey developers! It doesn’t recognize my pre-existing password. Totally useless if I can’t access it! I tried asking for new pswd based on I forgot my password. The system said it would send me a new one but never did. Totally useless!!!! You get an F!

Easy to use!. I am a nonresident and I find that this system is very easy to navigate!

Very intuitive. I appreciate the ease of use, and information provided by this app!

Hunt & fish. Nicely keep all my licenses in one place. Good resource!

Great App!. Great app! The only issue is that you can’t see your hunting licenses for big game. It excludes any license with a carcass tag. It would be nice to see those details.

See your draw, pay with a click!. Solid app, does everything you need, carries it for fast access. Next round: Highly recommend game tags be a picture to this app…date/time stamped, would reduce any multiple printed tags, keep everything digital, and make harvest rates much more accurate.

Tags. Can always get tags and like it saves history

Does recognize my existing account. I’m trying to login to the app with my existing account/CID # and it’s saying no profile is found. I’ve doubled checked my login credentials by signing into my account via the web portal and all works properly.

Not Secure - Weak Passwords Required. Not having to carry your license around and having it on your phone is great. Having to drop the complexity and security of your password in order to use the mobile app is completely unacceptable for a service that maintains sensitive personal and credit card info. Why on earth wasn’t this designed to ensure passwords used with the web-client would also be compatible with the mobile client. You may want to use a virtual credit card with CPW if possible; I wouldn’t trust your data to be safe here.

Great App. Great for buying pretty much everything outdoors instead of going somewhere to get licensing, passes, etc🎣

The Elk Hearder. Great App. Keeps track of all our hunting preference points and licenses of the present and past. It's great that you can pull up a hunting brochure on the go. The news feeds are excellent Great job and we appreciate the CPW team!

Great app. I really like the app. Especially helpful to manage everyone in the household. Would be great if you could also make park campground reservations

Same frustration as My Colorado. I want an app that I can show my drivers/fishing license to police/rangers without needing a physical license. Frustrated by My Colorado logging me out with every update and making me jump through numerous hoops when my known correct password was not recognized, I found this. It too makes you go through an extensive process to login. It recognized an existing account (My Colorado) and forced me down the same convoluted path as My Colorado but never sent an email with password reset instructions. Checked spam, junk, trash and all mail folders and nothing. Tried again verifying my email was correct. NOTHING. Clearly it’s the same database/developers as My Colorado which can’t be relied upon when needed. Uninstalling.

A must have. All you need for all your passes

Easy to use. This is a great resource to follow all my hunting tags and upcoming hunt information.

Barely useful. Spent too much time hoping to create an account… I finally called. The promised temporary password was never sent to my email. I learned that the user ID needed to be one of the number options rather than my email. Why? Recommendation was to use my very unmemorable CID #. I finally succeeded. Poorly done site. Once in, I found good ideas executed poorly. I wish that our income tax structure could change to where Tabor laws are gutted so we could have enough money to run state agencies well. May I live long enough to see it.

Wolf. The hot sulfur springs office never fails to be helpful and courteous. I left a recent comment on the wolf reintroduction but forgot part of it. I would suggest that reimbursement fund be established for ranchers that suffer losses of livestock and fund it by contributions from the voters that initiated the reintroduction. I would suspect they would be happy to donate. Tax payers, hunters and fishermen shouldn’t have to fund this but those supporters should. Thanks again and I trust CPW will navigate this sticky situation well.

Everything in one place. Really handy to have all my CPW info on one mobile app.

Good but…. Was stopped by a CPW officer while fishing near the Colorado state bridge and he would not accept the electronic fishing license on the app. I ended up finding my hard copy but shouldn’t have had to look in the first place. Other than that app is nice. Time to add electronic tags for hunting!

CPW APP. Glad i can just jump on the app and everything is easy to access

Great addition to having your tag anywhere you go.. This eliminates people that forget their wallet but not their phone to still have a tag with them. I even used this to buy tags:)

Convenient. I can hold a few licenses (nothing with a carcass tag obviously) in this app. It’s easy to download the brochures. And I can check my preference points.

Doesn’t work. I uploaded the app. Every time I try to open it it freezes up. What a piece of crap that my license fees are spent on.

Broken. I entered my name, etc and it found a wrong CID for me. How do I fix this?

Colorado not listed on sign in.. The only state not listed is colorado to sign in on the Colorado app. So I can’t sign in. Lol. But I could be missing something. So…
