Not impressed Renpho. The latest app update has a bug which causes the program to shut down immediately after starting up. It is very sad that the app has not been much improved since it was first released. And now it won’t even run. Renpho, your bike and the app are great in concept but you are failing on execution. Get your house in order.

Upgraded five days ago - not working at all. So disappointed! Wish I wouldn’t have done the upgrade.

Sync issue. Doesn’t sync correctly with Apple Health and customer support isn’t responsive. Will be returning the bike. Steer clear.

Crashes. App crashes after I complete a workout. None of my stats are saved, just complete crash to Home Screen.

Verification code is in Chinese. I cannot read the email sent to my email address to get the verification code. It is in Chinese.

Great app for the Renpho bike. I love this app and I love the Renpho bike. I only wish I could upload the rides to Strava. The power based training are great and there are plenty of options depending on what your goals are

So Cool. The App connects directly to my RENPHO AI-Powered Bike + includes SO MANY free training classes, workout courses, scenic rides and more... I am now working on a customized exercise training course— This App is excellent for any level rider. Definitely recommend!

Good idea. The idea that you can get results in the app from your workout it’s great. But the app does not work. It Does not upload results. I have an iPhone 11

Iphone App froze when I start any training. It works in iPad but when I use my phone and start a training the app just froze without the 3.2.1 countdown as the iPad app did.

Frozen Workout. iPad version doesn’t seem to work. I hit quick ride but the screen freezes. Anyone know a work around?

Bug with sign up. Can’t complete signing up since tick boxes for User Agreement and Privacy Policy are not shown. Contacted app support and they keep insisting that the tick boxes should be there. Already said in email, sent a photo then sent a video all telling and showing the tick boxes don’t show. Really bad support for today’s standard. Figured out myself that tick boxes don’t show on my Iphone7 when DISPLAY ZOOM is set to ZOOMED. After setting this to STANDARD, the tick boxes appeared. This confirms the bug in this app since I don’t have this problem with other apps when DISPLAY ZOOM is set to ZOOMED. After getting the tick boxes to show, clicked Sign Up and got network error. Turned off wifi and switched to cellular data, got the same error after repeating the whole sign up process. Still no help at all from app support. I turned wifi back on and repeated the sign up process and just chose the first country that shows from the list and it worked. Deleted the account and will create it once app team fixes the issue of network error when choosing United States.

May 2022 Update Crashes App Rendering Useless. The most recent software update prevents the app from even opening. Frustrated and disappointed. It appears I will lose all my saved workout data and must now search for another app to use with the bike. Prior to this I would have given three stars, there was a few bugs but at least it would open and function consistently. Does the software team plan on fixing the app?

iPhone file iPad doesn’t work. iPhone version of the Ai Gym app seems to work fine, but the iPad version won’t work at all. The iPad app starts and connects to the bike just fine, but whenever I start any workout, the workout starts and then just sits there. No countdown and the workout never starts. The app seems to be frozen and the only way to get out is to kill the app and start it again. Too bad - I would like the bigger screen of my iPad.

Solid companion app to the Renpho bike. The best part of this app is that’s it’s absolutely free - no additional subscription required to unlock anything. Out of the box, the app includes downloadable workouts and trainer guided videos, which automatically adjust the bike's resistance to match the intended effort level. The user may also set time, distance or calories burned goals, or opt for open-ended free rides. At the moment (August 2021), it does not support automatic upload of activities to Strava and/or watch apps like Garmin Connect, Coros, etc., and no option to export a gpx file. Hopefully, these can be added in the near future, which would make this app 5 stars instead of 4.

Horrible App. App doesn’t do anything, it doesn’t load or connect .

Won’t let me create an account. The app won’t let me create an account. It keeps saying my password format is incorrect, but it meets the 6-16 characters requirement.

Not working after firmware update 3/30/22. Training show dark screen and nothing works.

Poor experience. First there was a login issue that it would not let me login with existing account so i had to use a different email just to bypass this error and then there was the app freezing as it constantly loads to upload a workout after completion… if you restart the app, your data/ workout will be completely lost and unrecorded. Would rather just use other apps at this point, pretty pointless to have an app linked but does not sync properly with their equipment

AI Gym will not display HR in Challenge mode. I think that AI is a nice app to get you started but I use HR monitoring to pace my rides and it will not display in Challenge mode. It pairs fine and displays in the other modes. The good news is that the bike links with my HR sensor and all the other cycling apps without any issues.

Uploading. I’m not able to upload my exercise results daily so I can’t keep an accurate log of my time distance calories and the rest. It works maybe once out of 4 tries. How can I fix this. I love the bike and the programs and would love to be able to log my successes.

Does not work!. I was very excited about this bike, but the bike and app do not find each other, rendering both useless. When I go to “pair device “ the bike does not show up, I have tried restarting and reinstalling everything and nothing works. My phone is iPhone 13pro, so maybe the app is too old? Thinking about returning the bike if there is no tech support that could help me get it going. Very disappointed as I like the bike itself, there’s just no way to track the ride or do anything.

It’s ok. Some silly bugs though - for instance, I regularly see a weekly report: “Finished 4 day(s) this week 80%” - while simultaneously showing that 5 days were finished actually.

You are Forewarned, The app doesn’t load correctly. The video courses will not load, I've tried this many many times, and nothing! The app is located inside the Renpho app, then look for bike so you can’t find it by just looking for AI Gym in App Store👎👎👎 This app is a biggest disappointment with this bike, and doesn’t synch with Apple Watch either!

Update disaster. Wanted to ride my Renpho bike in order to get my heart rate up. Got a message suggesting I update my app. After update nothing works, and bike won’t pair with my iPad. Got my heart rate up alright, but in a bad way! I am so frustrated that I deleted the app, and bike is off to a new home.

Updated firmware and app not reading bike data. Since updating via the app , I can no longer use any of the app exercise programs!!! 😫

Great but needs improvement. It’s a great app all round. It’s free it works. However, the two things that need improvement are: 1. Automatic sync to apple health, strava etc. 2. Keep downloaded courses on phone after updates. It’s such a slow and annoying thing to do every update. I keep updating hoping Renpho will address these major issues. 3. It would be nice to update the classes every now and then.

Really good after the last revision. The app works flawlessly after the last revision, I cannot ask for more for a free app !

Bad. Useless app. Expensive bike. All I can do is ride in manual mode and use my Apple Watch to measure my workouts.

Works on iPad mini but not iPhone. As a free app, AI gym has amazing features. Not fair to compare it to subscription based app, the app can provide different kind of trainings to motivate the rider. It’s working fine on my older iPad mini, but the video only shows on the left side on my iPhone screen. Pretty sure it’s an app issue as the dashboard including speedometer is showing correctly full acreen

Middle star due to poor translation to English. Without looking too hard, I’ve found several instances of poor translation that cause irritation. For example, the phrase for positive coaching feedback is not “keep up!”.

Works fine. Pros: Free workouts - no in-app purchase need. It does have variety of workouts from video course, power course and virtual map challenges. I also love the after workout report and challenges. The auto resistance works great too. Cons: - I noticed sync delays which kills the fun when doing virtual challenges and power course. - I can use my apple watch which is great, however, the heart rate zones seems unrealistic. Wish they use the max heart rate data from user’s smart watch or make it customizable Overall, I’m very happy about it. I hope it can be integrated with sports app such as Strava

App seems to have a major glitch. I used this app for months, just did the upgrade that popped up, now nothing works. Bike connects no problem but no exercises under the discovery tab and when you press the discovery tab it knocked you right out of the app. Anyone else having this issue?

App update is terrible. There was an update on the app, and ever since I’m unable to do anything. I’m about to get my money back if this isn’t fixed.

Wish it could be a bit better. Lots of good things. As a free companion app for the Renpho bike I guess it’s ok. Would be great if it integrated with Strava or Garmin connect. Has a few dead ends so if you go to a page there is no exit and you need to close and reboot app. Those should be easily fixed.

Nothing works since update. Used to be a great app - I used the workout courses and tracking regularly. Nothing works since the update. I can get as far as selecting a course (or free cycle or anything else) and then it freezes on a grey screen. Disappointed.

Free workouts. Nice ok app. After using this app for a couple of days I wish I connect bike to Garmin watch via Bluetooth so stats could be downloaded to Garmin Connect. I noticed only Power and Cadence stats were available and no sign of speed Max Avg etc since I have to manually enter my stats to Garmin. Seems that speed should be one of the basic stats this app should be recording.

Was good until firmware update. Now the free cycle never starts - frozen screen. Challenges - frozen screen. Im sure its just a bug but sucks right now.

Great included app with some adjustments needed. All the programs with this app are included with the RenphoAI bike, which is great. No subscription fees like the other brands. However one thing i noticed is that whenever I complete a target exercises training session, the app would close and the session would not record. Would love to see a fix for this, but overall it does not affect my exercise! Looking forward to more great updates and products from Renpho!

Petit souci !. Parfois l’application à la fin d’un programme ne télécharge pas les données. Il faut éteindre le téléphone,retourner à l’appli et télécharger les données. Une fois sur deux le décompte des calories est le double de ce qui est prévu

Update - reset Bluetooth after firmware update. I sent a review after my AI Gym stopped working after a firmware update. Renpho answered the call within a day or two with instructions on how to reset my connection and get things going again- together with a direct email if this didn’t do the trick. It did, and I’m delighted to be reconnected on my Renpho bike with AI Gym on my iPad. Thanks, Renpho!
