A new faith is born and you are chosen to spread it.
Humanity will always find a reason to hate you. You need to use your words and miracles and improve your faith in order to spread it to the entire world. You must speak to people without gaining much hatred, visit cities and right wrongs with miracles.

You will meet hundreds of people and stories on your journey, starting either from Egypt, Jerusalem, or Rome and will get one of the twenty endings as you try to spread your faith.

You can upgrade your religion to reach more people and improve yourself to perform miracles or cause calamities.

Difficult To Understand. The concept of the game is interesting and the art style is nice. I can tell a lot of work was put into this. However, it relies heavily on understanding questions and answers. The developer is clearly not a native English speaker because a lot of the questions don’t make sense, and their outcomes don’t make sense. This makes it very difficult to play, especially in the later stages, because you can’t understand crucial questions or their repercussions.

Religion as a disease. Pro is that there seems to be a good number of options to develop, con is that it is clearly based on Christ, so your messiah has to conform to that. Start in either Jerusalem, Egypt or Rome, heal the sick, etc. what if I want to be something evil or altogether different?

It’s fun but too difficult. Fun game... but difficult to win even if playing on a easy level... questions and the results are very confusing.... if you agree women are not as good as men, you will end with negative effects on women’s rights and grow a lot of hatred... if you try to free slaves... people will hates you............

Soon becomes repetitive. It was really fun in the beginning, but the narrative soon becomes very repetitive. I only played through the Jerusalem once and it took 31 region, with little variation from region to region later on. I don’t think I want to play through it again given how boring it is to actually play through it once.

Concept is good but just one issue. Overall the execution of the game is superb. However one thing that bothers me is how a religion must decide what’s right a wrong. That’s something that the government has decided for a religion, throughout history, in order for society to be more well behaved and work according to their conditions. But what about Buddhism??? Buddhism more accurately defines what happiness is. It works on the mental health of people and doesn’t construct society like Christianity for example. Buddhism doesn’t say that stealing is wrong. That rule is left for the government to take care of. This element of religion is something I think should be considered and implemented into the game somehow. Otherwise it’s a fantastic concept.

Very good, small problems. The game is very good. Though it does get repetitive at times it is still a quality game with fun powers. The worst part is that people can be hypocritical. One will support slavery and the very next will hate it. The worst thing by far is that there seems to be a glitch. I had a massive religion, on my way to convincing the world, however, I got to one region, and I went through 6 areas. Before this I was averaging 6,000 believers per area, when I got here though, I could get no more than 99 per area. I died dispute the fact that I shouldn’t have due to the unfortunate case that the game glitched and didn’t allow me to progress I should’ve been able to. Though I am still mad about it my point stands. Good game but please fix this. It need to be fixed otherwise world conversion will never be possible.

Interesting but not enjoyable to play. The title and the content of the game is definitely interesting. I thought this is something similar to Plague Inc., but turns out this is more like making choices, that will impact the results of the game. The game allows you make decisions on certain religious practices and political opinions. But same questions will come up repeatedly, since you already know what is the right answer, this is kind of tedious. The choice making is rather taking an exam, you have to answer it “correctly “ in order to move forward. Rather than choice making results in deferent endings or approaches.

Decent So Far. I have not played much to be honest. It sounds and looks so far like a great premise with good promise. I will say so far it is a reasonable price for the game. Graphics are what you would expect. Audio isn’t too varied so far and pretty generic. Gameplay could have some more features. Tutorial is very basic but it compliments the game. Haven’t found many bugs but that could change. Overall it feels to have a ton of promise, but so far does not live up to the potential at all.

About 10 minutes in. So far the game is fun. As others have said I’d like to see more added. I also do not know if the world is based on our own including population or whether you can be put into any location.

Interesting premise with Tinder-esque Gameplay. From what I can tell you basically just swipe right or left in an effort to convince people to follow your religion, whether you lie about your faith or not, the goal is to grow the numbers. So far, it’s been pretty fun with a few interesting choices.

Good, but….. This is a great premise and I have spent a decent amount of time playing & hope to play lots more. Really, spend the money, you’ll be happy. That being said, there are some really frustrating things. For example, when a regions hate is getting high, why can’t I just, ya know, leave? Also, while my religion is spreading around without me, why am I not getting any faith points? Why is everything so expensive?! Could there be an improvement/ability that shows you which answer aligns with the people’s happiness most OR that shows what is aligning with your commandments? Also, why are there only negative affects? What about the good things (like people being more charitable because of my preaching)? And above all - why the heck do I keep dying so soon? I’m playing on easy and I’m not made it past region 8ish. Like, what the heck?

Unique game concept; perfect for tablets/phones. Not many games would tackle something like starting your own religion (at least, not without softening the blow with something akin to cartoon animations). It’s refreshing to play an app that uses morality as a game mechanic, but never lets things get too heavy.

Pretty good. Game is fun, a little repetitive with some choices. Also what I find increasingly annoying, is that when you die, you have to start all over again. You should be able to save a game at a certain point and restart from there or restart from last checkpoint?

Needs optimization. The app kinda reminds me of reigns which has a smoother swipe system other then that it's pretty in depth and worth $2 as long as the developers can add small big fixes and perhaps new abilities then it's a pretty good game

Not all consequences make sense.. Getting the effects half the time doesn’t make sense to what words you choose. It’ll randomly throw something on your about racial issues when the choice you made was about food or money. And a few of the dialogue options don’t make sense given context. Definitely needs a good refresh update but a really fun title, all in all! It’s fun trying to decide weather to be good, evil or somewhere in the middle.

Really fun so far. I was prompted to rate the game a little too early to say for certain what I think. They did offer a pretty awesome in game reward for leaving a review so that was awesome. Easy to understand thus far and a really cool concept in general.

It’s more swiping than strategy. I thought I’d be able to make up the rules of my religion as I go. From problematic to utopian dream! But this game is more like “answer with what you think the game wants you to answer” The powers aren’t very useful and you level up at the same rate each play through so there’s not much variety in terms of how to spend your points.I got bored by play through #3. The game reminds me a very early version of pandemic.

It’s different. I’ve never played a game like this one before but so far it’s really interesting. I think that for the price and with the guarantee that there won’t be in-app purchasing in the future it’s a true bargain. I honest can’t wait to see what the future brings because so far it has an amazing foundation.

Suggestions. I have a suggestion to make a more diverse messiah and religion, this game only allows you to make somewhat good choices I think there should be more of a war and dictator kind of options a religion that’s about hate! It would just spice things up

Accidentally bought but definitely worth it. I didn’t realize it was $1.99 when I bought it, but I am not disappointed. For sure a fun game and will continue to play it.

So far so good!. It’s a bit early in the process to share for sure yet, but I’m enjoying the game so far. I could see a future where it eventually gets a bit repetitive? But I think I should get enough gameplay to justify the price.

Fun game!. Overall I very much enjoy the concept and implementation of this game. The mechanics are straightforward and the difficulty level is high enough to keep it interesting. The only problem I've run into is that some choices seem to have an opposite effect to the choice I've made. For example, I just played a game where choosing to tell people it was wrong for the judicial system to involve money somehow gave me an effect where people place too much emphasis on money. I've had the same thing happen with prejudice towards women happening after I made choices to support women and negative effects to believers' health after I told them to not eat harmful foods. If this could be fixed I would have zero complaints!

Repetitive, forced and incredibly boring. The game plays almost nothing like plague inc. I don’t know why people compare it to it. It’s a decision game where you must guess what will get you more popularity. The game forces you to defend things you’ve never said or done but it acts as if you are making a new religion. You also go through a predetermined list of regions which are simply named Region. It doesn’t matter how many people you converted because the game sets your total believer count. It tries to add challenge but it just feels forced(like randomly slapping a negative effect on you). And it’s terribly repetitive. People will ask you the same questions dozens of times. As long as it doesn’t kill you, it doesn’t truly matter what you answer as your religion is defined by the devs and not you. The premise sounds fun. The game is awful

Decent. A fun game. Didn’t make it too far in yet but it’s worth maybe $1 so far but I’m assuming it gets better. I love the fact that they DON’T have micro transactions though. It’s so hard to find a game that doesn’t anymore

Really Great!. This is such a fun game! A little challenging at times, but very good! It’s honest in what it promises and delivers, and even though you have to pay a few dollars for it, it’s completely worth it! If you like games like Pandemic or Plague Inc. the game play is the same, only far more positive than a game about killing. This game is about helping and saving, so you feel good doing it lol! But also, even for the non religious, it’s a fun and exciting little pass time that can really rally inner emotions about right and wrong, and gives you a chance to sort of build the world you always wanted while taking a few difference avenues to get there! Cant wait to see whatever else it has in store! Give it a chance, and it won’t disappoint!

Fun game Great idea I think future versions will only get better. This is a great idea game is done fairly well and I believe that future version of the game will allow them to roll out new features that aside I would recommend that they had a way for you to appoint your apostles to I have a system other than just faced points that allow you to do you things like write your own things or select from a list of affects or whatever so that you can create your own holy book and that you can create your own Commandments or choose the Commandments that you want to

Review is a bit early.... I could only give four stars so far, because the review came after about 10 minutes of playing lol!! the game is super fun, so cool to learn that it’s all done by just one person, so that’s awesome! I love these sorts of games, so for me it’s really really fun! i hope there are some updates that include new options for my religion and things like that!! amazing work !

The darn intro cinematic. The game is fun, and obviously built somewhat like plague Inc, but it has its own charms and shouldn’t just be looked at for where the inspiration comes from but from the experience the game gives. Personally I don’t like playing on easy mode much, so I’m trying the game on hard mode right off the bat. Not dying is hard, but fun. Would tell a man he cannot have another wife just because he believes in my religion again.

I like this game.. I feel like this game can help us better understand some of the problems some that leaders have sometimes faced. As in sometimes we can’t persuade everybody to be happy you know if they’re dead.

Makes little sense. The game doesn’t do much to let you customize your religion. No matter your choices, your religion is just Christianity, Judaism, Islam, or some mix of the 3. Everything is a glorified yes/no question which you are always punished for with little benefit. The game is structured around avoiding negative effects which makes the game very monotonous, especially since the premise is cool. Many of the decisions you make give you debuffs that are contrary to the choice you make, like telling people they should be generous and then receiving a debuff that says your religion values money too much. Basically, the game wants you to accrue followers, but the best way to do that is to persuade people while also talking to them as little as possible, so the point of the game is to not play the game.

So fun!. I love this game! I love the style and the variety in it! My only suggestions are 1. It took my like 30 seconds to figure out how to answer a person’s questions, so maybe a textual explanation would be better? 2. It would be cool if you could have some more permanent customization options about your religion other than just the questions you answer. Like if you could actually craft your commandments specifically or something like that. Other than that, such a fun game!

It’s cool, seems kinda not finished?. I like it so far, though some things just don’t fully seem to work. I don’t understand how miracles work, and I also think you can’t “customize” enough. Just kinda doin stuff from other religions. So far to convince regions is just yes no questions, which also isn’t the most fun but I do overall like the game, just thought the criticisms are needed.

Haven’t gotten too far into the game yet. So far the games pretty good. One gripe I have with it is that it will pause your music if any sound byte is played. Turning off sound in settings stopped the pausing, but I do miss having both on like my other games. Very minor bump in my experience so far🤙🏽

So far so good. I only just started, but I actually like the game so far and I think it’s worth the two dollars. There is a lot to do and not too much repetitiveness. In total this game is worth the money and you’ll have a lot of fun with it.

Good but it needs some work still. Something about the game just doesn’t feel complete you can’t see your total believer count till after you die you can only see the believers from the last region that’s really frustrating and takes away the only real progress you would be able to get it also gets extremely repetitive and needs about 50 new dialogue options. I really feel like the believer count needs to be fixed that is very bothersome that you can only see believers one region at a time

Review. It's cool. I dunno. I didn't really play it so much before it asked me to do this and I didn't know if it'd ever ask me again. It's alright. Plague-esque gameplay is a lot more dynamic than most games. Like, it definitely FEELS like PlagueInc but it sets itself aside as a different game.

This game is fun. I was hesitant to try this game after seeing I had to pay for because of other companies I wasted my money on but this game is solid. I am enjoying this game and I look forward to seeing new game modes and maybe new religions.

Surprised and disappointed by the game.. I was very surprised by the quality of this app. Not in a good way however. The choices are about as basic as they come, being all yes or no style choices, and you really have no freedom to shape or create a religion as advertised as the game will shoehorn you into one of 3 preset religions. The translation is awkward and it’s noticeable that the game was not made in English and the translation was not done by a native speaker. Upgrades are boring and as you play you are punished for choices at random. You are never rewards for a choice. The reward is nothing bad happened (this time). I expected more than just a yes or no question game but maybe that’s my fault for expecting more from a top 5 app on the charts…

Haven’t played enough to properly rate, but.... It asked me to rate early on in the game. A little unhappy with that since I haven’t gotten enough time to judge the game long term, but so far it has been REALLY fun. So, I will say if you like the idea and you are looking through the reviews to know if you’d like it. You most likely will. It is a great strategy game almost reminiscent of reigns, but with a skill tree and an extra layer where you have to manage how much places hate you or you won’t make it.

Great game!!!. When I bought the game I thought it was going to be like a knock off of Plague Inc however this game is Unique and very fun. I definitely do enjoy this game a lot😁 great way to pass time while I’m on my break at work.

Pretty good!. At first I was like: “So I’m just starting a religion..?” But then, after I started playing I realized that this game is actually pretty fun! It reminds me of Plague Inc. seeing as you pick a difficulty and name, you upgrade your religion, and then you try to spread to the rest of the world while haters try to destroy it. The only difference (besides topic) is that you actually get to interact with the world, as instead of just creating a messiah, you ARE the messiah! Anyways, you should download this game because it’s pretty fun.

Great game. Would be great if there was a tutorial. To show you what is best to start off with. Is there a difference in the villages you choose to talk to. What each ability does and how worth it is to get early or wait on it.

New spin on gaming. I was expecting this game to play like Plague,Inc. although they are not entirely the same, even down to the mechanics, you could say that they are distant cousins to one another. So far, I’m enjoying the game. I was almost dissuaded due to having to pay for the game, but I’m glad I did. I do like the question prompts the characters have to ask. I like the complete freedom the customization of my religion has to offer in game. That being said, I would like more diversity within the game, I don’t like that the game is based off three major religions, it should allow the fully customization of how you want your faith and religion to play out, if your faith believes in mono or poly theism. What if a holy war broke out in your faith how would you respond. Music and effects are nice. Character noises are repetitive and get old quick. Wish there was more animation in the background, something more animated and vibrant, more detail. What if there were updates and news like plague that say what’s going on in a region or city etc. That being said, I do overall enjoy the game, it still needs work yes but it is enjoyable to play! I’d give it a 7/10

Nice game. Just started it and it’s addictive. Have gone a few minutes with being killed a few times and have gone far in others. Don’t see it to be predictable

It’s okay, though frustrating. It seems like unless you have a 100% chance at success, attempts to persuade masses will fail. It’s also not so much about what you preach, but just converting as much people as possible which I’m not a huge fan of.

Peoples hate and love. This game seems pretty good so far. My only complaint is that the people’s love for you and their hate for you aren’t separate. I would think that you’re not equally angering people as you are convincing others. It doesn’t seem to make sense.

Rules Unclear. The game is very good, but miracles seem to be an integral part of the strategy. This doesnt initially appear to be an issue, but then you need to perform miracles in order to avoid hate, and by then, it still hasnt been explained how to perform mircales or win the chance to perform miracles. Solid game but it needs a pop-up explanation like plague inc since this is clearly developed in the same style

GAME NO LONGER WORKS. I used to really enjoy this game! Went to play again, and you can no longer make any selections when you start a game and meet individuals. Without and choices given, you cannot proceed at all into the game. Very disappointing that there's not even a place on the developer site to submit these claims. Especially disappointing that you pay for this game and the developers are not even responsible enough to maintain the game.

Not My Cup of Tea. I thought this game would be more like the Plague Inc. game, but it felt a little bit like micro-managing and linear with swiping left and right on people’s questions which felt like a lose-lose. Maybe I’m just too dumb. I really like the concept of the game. It just wasn’t what I expected, and I’m probably overly picky with games. The game is reasonably priced and the art style is really cool, so it’s worth a try. Also, it sounds like the developer is continuing to add content which I look forward to revisiting in the future.

So far, very fun. So far, the game is pretty good. I enjoy that it costs just a little for the fact that it gets rid of needing to see ads or purchase stuff within the game. I look forward to where the game goes.

A little hard, a lotta fun.. This game’s learning curve is a little sharp but I think with some minor changes these problems could be ironed out

Takes a little bit to figure out. Overall a fun game and in a few minutes I had figured out the gameplay

Fun, but frustrating at first. The game is seemingly impossible at first, I ran through 7-8 game ending death scenarios in my first region. Once you focus and start making smarter choices, a lot of fun options open up!

Seems to be a decent game. I am only posting a review in hopes of a reward. This game seems to be fairly good but I have not played long enough to make a solid judgement.

Fun!. Definitely an interesting take on the Plague Inc. type games! Something I look forward to spending some free time playing!

Super interesting game. It’s very unique and I thought maybe it would be like Plague Inc but it’s though process, style and game mechanics are different. It’s so interesting. I think it’s a great game and worth the money to buy it.

Challenging Gameplay. I honestly love this game. I have even beaten it yet because it is just the kind of challenge I want in a strategy game.

Good game and mechanics but feels poorly optimized. Runs a little slow or stutters even after restarting phone and updating things.

Seems legit. Seems like it’ll be a good game, but I don’t actually know because it asked me to rate the game so early in the game to unlock an ability. 🤣

Interesting. Interesting concept, maybe add a feature that allows us to choose what region we start in.(For the players who just want to feel all powerful add cheats)

Question. I love the idea of the game but my question is if you plan to translate the game into Spanish or other languages and if so, when will it be available

It’s fun!. It’s fun at the start, but having to remind people repeatedly of how you feel on certain issues gets a tad repetitive.

Great game!. It reminds me of the game I think called pandemic but way more fun because your in control of the choices. Very great buy.

Not bad. Very interesting concept and seemingly very playable, I look forward to playing it longer.

Surprising find. I stumbled across this game looking for something to kill time. Still figuring out some of the mechanics but so far it’s pretty fun, I enjoy the questions and abilities aspect.

Good game when you’re bored. Not too many glitches that I’ve noticed, something to do in long car rides. Reminds me of the old plague games I used to play

great. It takes a bit to get used to, but i can already tell this is going to be such an awesome game!!

Ability. Doing this for ability

Highly recommended. Messiahs is sort of like a combination of two of my favorite mobile games, Reigns and Plague Inc. Add on a gorgeous art style and a killer score, and you’ve got an excellent offering here.

It’s Okay. I think its somewhat too unpredictable the amount of people who believed and whether your choices are good/bad. Still a little confused regarding the eye. I don’t know I haven’t been playing for long, but it asked about review.

Addicting. Playing after a while becomes addicting. very fun

Not Plague Inc.. Love this game! I thought it would be very similar to Plague Inc., but with religion instead of diseases. It’s more of Plague mixed with Dictator, which gives it a whole new twist. Highly recommend for strategy-lovers!

Fun and easy. The game is fun, and the tutorial was really easy to understand. It might look like Plague inc, but it’s a pretty cool spin on it. Definitely worth the price.

Good strategy game. I appreciate the art style and the user interface. The game provides a fun experience while you convert the unbelievers. Good times, would support uprisings in kingdoms again.

Fun Game to Pass the Time. It’s a bit difficult to learn but once you get the hang of things, this is pretty entertaining and somewhat thought provoking.

Great So Far!. I’ve only played this game for a little bit, but so far this game is amazing.

Great game. Just got it, but it has been interesting so far. A bit like Plague Inc. where you use points to evolve your virus/bacteria etc.(religion in this case).

Brilliant concept. I really love the look and feel of it. Definitely worth it

Solid game. After 30 minutes of playing I think it’s a pretty solid game

Early On. Following an early in-game request for review, here’s my immediate thoughts: I just started playing, so I don’t feel I’ve gotten a full impression of the game yet, but it has potential! Fun concept! Feels like a cross between Democratic Socialism Simulator and Plague, ironically.

Well worth the price. This game has a lot to offer for such a low price. The mechanics are easy to learn but hard to master, and watching the progress on the world map as your religion grows is very satisfying.

Lovely game. There are a few grammatical errors but other than that the concept is really interesting

Seems like a great idea. Just been playing a little bit but I haven’t put it down yet good start

Pretty interesting so far. Worth a try, it's just 2 bucks

Fun Game. If you like the pandemic style games this one is right up your alley.. Trying to answer the questions right and some of the responses they want are questionable though...

I want to make miracles happen. I am being the ability to make miracles by giving this review. The game is interesting so far though I haven’t gotten very far into it. I do wish it was made a bit better: cleaner graphics, smoother gameplay, etc.

Rather fun take on the reigns gamestyle. It’s a game where you swipe left or right to make different decisions with different ramifications. This one is well made and it fits the messiah theme really well!

I. It’s a pretty good game. It’s interactive and Kris you on your toes. I think as time goes on and the developers make more upgrades, this game could be really good.

Decent time filler. It’s a fun game to pick up and set down at will for when you have those moments you want to play but can’t devote to constantly playing in game events

Interesting. Was not sure about this but is actually fun to play and your choices matter over time

First time playing. Was a little skeptical at first when downloading but once I play it wasn’t that bad it I’m still learning about the game but it’s quite fun so far

One option to rule them all.. I have played around 10 rounds and I can let you all know that you must memorize the “right” options. The right option switches every time you encounter the same question. There is no building your “own” religion. You follow the exact path the dev wants.

Concept is great I can’t figure out the controls. The game has a amazing concept but I just can’t figure out how to talk to people they say something and nothing happens

Got it just because. Seems like a fun entertaining game so far, only been playing for like 10 minutes.

So far so great!. Only played for about 20 minutes so far but it is really keeping my attention. Great game!

Love this game. I’m a long time gamer and this game is one of my all time favorites just the depth and amount of thoughtful insights and tough moral choices alone are the best for me this is really an Adult Game. Epic

Great game!. This game isn’t what I expected but I am very much enjoying it. I don’t usually like decision making game but this one makes it very interesting and rewarding!

Great Concept. This game is fun and very well thought out! I’m enjoying the joys and consequences of being a messiah. Cant wait for the updates.

Great game. Definitely something different. However, the intuitive take of the developers to create such a progressive game is truly time spent well on this app.

Very Interesting and Educational. Worth the purchase. A lot of content and super interesting. Some things truly make you question your ethics... or you can have down right fun with it! Your choice!
