$11 WELL SPENT!. As a avid listener to the Breakout Finder podcasts as well as the RotoUnderworld podcast I’ve been eagerly anticipating the release to this app and wondering what it would be like and now that i have it along with the extra purchase options it has exceeded my expectations! You can look back in time to older draft years and compare current players and their scores to the upcoming rookie class which helps give you an idea of who is going to be a productive NFL player and who isn’t. Very affordable, informative, and hopefully beneficial to my dynasty teams success when drafting!

Exactly What Was Needed!. This came out at the perfect time before the NFL draft to get us all really for our Dynasty rookie drafts! All you morons complaining about the add-ones you have to pay for. That’s how all apps work AND they’re going to be constantly updating this app! Instead of making another app that you have to buy when they do big updates you have it all. App runs great, no mechanical issues. One thing I think might help is when you pull up a player maybe click on “Dynamic Score” and the other metrics and a blurb pops up saying what goes into that metric. Or maybe just an FAQ option that covers them. Would help those that aren’t as familiar and should lead them to your other podcasts and content. Good work gents!

Excellent App With Great Detail. This app is very easy to navigate. The interface is very helpful and the level of detail is superb. The app does an excellent job not only looking at breakout candidates for the 2020 WR class, but also at examining the history of WR breakout ratings going back to 2001. It’s player list is very deep, so you’ll have access to data for undrafted players who show up mid-season and become fantasy relevant. Whereas everyone else will be scrambling trying to ascertain how good that player is, this app fills in the gaps by giving you detail that no one else has. A must-buy for any fantasy football player, even in seasonal leagues.

Nickel and Dime. Not impressed that with the purchases required after having to already purchase the app. Not worth the cost when there is so many free sites out there.

These Players Have Broken Out Of The Game. I’m not sure if the app missed an update, but it was downloaded and worked fine, with updated information. I purchased ALL IN-APP UPGRADES. Then yesterday, the app is suggesting to me (and I have pictures) that Kenny Britt, Percy Harvin, Jordan Matthews, Hakeem Nicks, Jeremy Maclin, Demaryius Thomas, Andre Johnson & Larry Fitzgerald are ALL top 20 on the verge of “breaking out”. This was a massive waste of money.

Love Nate Liss but.... Downloaded on the strength of Nate Liss and I must say I am quite underwhelmed. Granted I bought after draft season, so my score could change after seeing how it does for the 2021 draft, but it appears to serve zero purpose in-season. Plus the program crashes ALL THE TIME. After spending close to $10 to get the app plus add-ons, program crashes, esp CONSISTENT program crashes shouldn’t still be an issue. Also clicking on a bunch of the old players from early classes just sends me to playerprofiler. Thanks? I could’ve done that without having to shell out $$$. The concept is good and it has the potential to be a 5-star app, but as it is right now, it’s not anywhere near close. This feels like a beta version of a beta version. That said, still love what you do Nate & Ryan.

I don’t understand it. Why do I want the breakout ratings for all the players that aren’t rookies? They are already in the NFL and have stats. Who cares about their college stuff? Wish I didn’t buy this lol

Disappointed in add-ons. I've been excited about this app for quite a while, listen to the podcast and have even been wearing a Breakout Finder hat. I was happy paying for the app to support Roto Underworld but the Breakout Finder is a limited tool by design (WRs only) why charge $5 for a useless version of it? Feels like a bait and switch. I feel like I paid $5 for a ticket to the Breakout Finder theme park and found out after being admitted I have to pay $2 to ride each of its three rides. Do I have the $6? Of course, but I'm put off by the cash grab, especially since diehards are the only ones seeking it out right now.

Dynasty Titles - Here I Come. This is amazing. Really hope my league mates don’t purchase this. Can’t wait to scoop all the diamonds in the rough and avoid the land mines in my rookie drafts!

Breakout Finder is AMAZING. I hate to leave a positive review for my league mates to see, but this is honestly the best Fantasy Football app on the web, hands down

Dynasty degenerate gold. With this and the dynasty dominator, I am pumped for this season. For all you dynasty degenerates, it is worth every cent.

Well worth the price..... For those complaining about the price, and/or the add on purchases... Go upstairs, clean the kitchen, and see if your mom will give you an extra $5. The amount of research, number crunching, statistical modeling, and app development is WELL WORTH $5/11 Great job guys. The app is stunning. Next year when the new rookies come in, I'll be ready and eager to purchase the update 👍

Money pit. First, you pay to get the app. Then you have to pay $2/feature to open up the other features advertised in the preview tiles in a way they look like they are included. The basic info is much of the same info you get with the Dominator app. The “breakout” feature is only for newer WRs and gives you virtually no context unless you pay the $6 more for the extra 3 features. Seriously, people? This is pretty much a complete scam.

Not upfront about additional metrics for sale. $4.99 to purchase. I did not expect to have to purchase add-ons (like the 2023 rookies) in order to effectively use the app. As I looked into it there were several more additional metrics available to buy. Kind of like buying a chessboard and only getting every other piece. App was not upfront about additional costs.

My first review ever.... After your rant on the show, I decided to go out of my way to write my first review on any app ever. I’m that lazy. I wanted to say, I do agree with you. I also WANT to support small business, and I WANT them to produce tools and data for me time use in the future. The only way to do that, is to charge. And I assumed there would be additional add ons, and I verified that in description. I did give only 4 stars though, because I have two pieces of feedback. 1: I think you should have a “buy all” package at a slight discount. A dollar cheaper or something. I actually wasted time looking for that. But whatever. I think you’d find it beneficial to your bottom line too :). In fact you should bundle both apps if possible. 2: I wish the help/descriptions were easier to get to. Maybe on a force push on the metrics give you a description of exactly what they mean and how to interpret. Or something. I know eventually I’ll have them memorized. Still would be nice, because I’m forgetful.

Bet on the upside!. Find those late round stashes with a chance to pop. Athleticism matters!!!

Half the content you thought you bought. Dynamic Score Teammate Score Level of Competition These are the core pieces of BoF and they are not included in the app you’re purchasing here. Each costs extra in-app ($6 total), and it doesn’t feel like a useful tool without these.

2021 rookies not included in initial price. Love the guys that made this but the app leaves a lot to be desired. The presentation on the app page does not make it clear that each of the proprietary metrics require an additional purchase. Not the end of the world because proprietary metrics with no context are not something I’m interested in anyway. However, I bought the app in the off-season only to find out that 2021 rookies cost an additional $5. Old 2020 rookie data is not worth $5 after they have played an entire season and I would not have purchased had I known this. I know lots of time and effort has been put into this but it honestly feels a bit like a beta and the current cost structure ain’t it.

Thank you. For savaging all the weak dicks without $6 on your show. Those are the same guys writing 1 star Yelp reviews for fast food restaurants because the “service was abhorrent!”. This isn’t McDouble, this makes you better than your opponents and winning is winning.

I can actually read. Unlike some of the bozos reviewing this app I can actually read and can afford to spend $10. I love the app it’s clean, easy to use and most of all insightful! I loved it so much I immediately purchased the Dynasty Dominator app (which I also highly recommend). Take my money for the add-ons it’s well worth it. Enjoy the content keep up the great work. I will make sure to set aside and save $5 for 2021.

Pretty awful. It costs $5 and only lists rookie WRs, and only provides a breakout score. Everything else costs more money. It’s also sized for a phone, not a tablet.

Worth the wait. All you have to do is buy the App and take a look back at the top Breakout rated WR’s over the past 2 years. It speaks for itself. Can’t wait to see the boys get back into the lab and come up with ratings for RB’s and QB’s!

Doesn’t give you all the data. Was upset I paid a good bit for the app only to have more paywalls (like $1.99) for each of the Dynamic Score, Teammate Score and Dynamic Level. I like the company, but this was kinda not cool. At least be up front in saying what is and isn’t unlocked with the purchase... I’d change my review if the in app stuff is unlocked. Love the podcast and patreon, but was disappointed by the holding back of stats.

Love App BUT...Needs All Positions to get 5 Stars. Loving the app so far! A little disappointed that I can only look at WRs but I assume other positions are on the way?? This will be a 5 star app once all positions are added. Happy you went the extra mile for a clean and custom design. This was the tipping point for me making the purchase. Good app. In app purchases not necessary. $5 is plenty for the app. The in app $1.99 purchase each for the three other aspects in unnecessary. Should have been included in app.

Great tools. I used to listen to every podcast religiously but alas have gotten too busy to continue that pace. I primarily use this app and the PlayerProfiler website to make all my dynasty decisions and just won my second title in 3 years. Great tools available if you use them correctly.

THE WAIT IS OVER. As advertised. This app is really going to help me take the leap into dynasty this year. Also the most granular in app purchase to buy only what you want, but the sicko die hards know they’re gonna want it all.

Surprise. Great product. Love the guys behind it. As another reviewer noted you do not have instant access to all “metrics” which are additional purchases ($1.99 ea). Otherwise it’s exactly what was expected in terms of content available to use or buy.

Good app. I bought it. And I bought an add on. I will use the metrics to make draft decisions. Yep

5 stars for the data. 1 star for the app. The advanced metrics and data that goes into providing the scores is cutting edge but the way the app is formatted leave much to be desired. There’s a lot of redundancies that seem to provide the same information. The three tools provided on the app are “Breakout Gauge,” “Prospect Comparison,” and “Metrics Database.” Each tool functions as a way to give the same information just in a different view. I find myself only looking at the metrics database.

UX/UI is Great. After listening to your podcast, I decided to show support and invest in the app. I find navigating the app is very user friendly and the data information is useful in researching new rookies, compared to past prospects. I have the 1.02 in my rookie draft this year and am looking forward to applying what data I have access to in the Breakout Finder to make a better informed decision on my pick.

Dynasty Assistant. Anyone playing Dynasty Football leagues has wondered whether they’re making a good deal when making trades or when drafting rookies. This is the tool to use that helps you make those assessments. Get it. You won’t be sorry.

Love the App. Love the content and easy to use platform. Look forward to seeing the updates. Only issue is maybe a little more explanation of the different categories and why it’s important for evaluating prospects. Keep up the good work!

The worst kind of bait and switch. Clearly the app says in-app purchases exist. I’m good with that. What I’m not good with is that the pictures and previews imply the statistics are all included in the app price. Paying for *additional* info is fine - paying for what you’ve implied I’m already getting is nonsense. I don’t care how slick the app is, I’m pretty annoyed that I paid for 70% of what I was presented. Don’t nickel and dime me.

Deceiving. Sorry, I never write reviews, but this bothers me. So, in order to get the cool stuff on the app, I need to spend an additional 13 dollars for the full package including the breakout for the 2022 rookies? What does the 5 dollars actually get me that I can’t get on Dominator and Player Profiler (which I loved by the way). Is there a way to get a refund?

Good content, but have to pay for all features. The content is good. But having to pay an additional $8 to unlock all some extras metrics is unfortunate after charging $7 for the app. The initial content is good enough and I won’t be paying for the extras.

Seems to be a unfortunate theme with rotounderworld apps. Can’t say enough good things about breakout finder and rotounderworld as a whole. I’m a podfather patron and also purchase the all in package on rotounderworld and hopefully soon to be breakout finder patron. However it is unfortunate that we have to purchase 3 more things in order to unlock the full potential of the app. I get it’s only $2.79 per upgrade but I’d rather it just pay one flat rate for the entire app. Maybe in the future patrons could potentially get a discount.

Don’t waist your money, no value here. I got suckered into buying all of the in app purchases expecting for the value to be just around the next pay wall... It is not.

You got me - “Now includes more words!”. Updated 4/07/2020 At the risk of digging a deeper hole, I’m going to be more specific in my feedback. If you scroll all the way to the to the bottom of the breakout finder app page, then click another link, you’ll find options for in-app upgrades. So, if you know where to look, and you're aware you that you SHOULD look, it’s easy to learn about the additional app costs. I’ve purchased app’s like this before. For instance, I downloaded another app from the same developer, Dynasty Dominator. I later purchased in-app upgrade to unlock some additional SF data, as well as renewed an annual subscription to get access to the 2020 new rookie data. I have no problem with this business model, both as an existing customer, and as a business professional. In addition, I take personal responsibility for not finding the information myself, regarding the additional app subscription costs. This is a classic example of buyer beware. That’s my mistake. I should have read every page of the app before my purchase, rather than rely on the developers description alone. I accept that. My original feedback, though, was that you were not forthcoming, or were unclear, in your original descriptions of the app, and what data was included in the original purchase price, when you described it in your podcast. No mention of in-app upgrades or additional data with other purchase options. Just go download it, and pay your $5, and you’ll have this data. It’s incredible. What a deal. This is all true. All of the different data sets are available, they are just not INCLUDED in the purchase price. The way that you described and sold the product was unnecessarily unclear. Because it was unclear, this led to customer confusion, and some wrong assumptions. Some customers made a purchase, and then were surprised by the additional costs. Surprises in cost make people unhappy. Unhappy people leave unhappy reviews. This has nothing to do with your business model, or the intelligence of your buyers. It’s about how you described the product and the impression you left about what was included in the app purchase. When you trust someone you don’t go looking for the fine print. There’s no way to know if this was intentional or an accident. But when it happens, it feels like a gotcha moment, and you’ll get references to bait and switch. Could customers have figured this out on there own? Yes. Is it their own fault for not verifying your statements before purchasing the app? Yes Is it good business practice to blame the customer for being confused, when you were unclear, and could have prevented the confusion in the first place? No I understand the entertainment value of calling me out on your podcast for leaving a review. That’s fine, because that’s your persona. The a$$hole who takes every personal slight as fodder for an extended rant. But all you have to do is clarify your product offer. Be upfront about what is in the base product, and what’s available as an upgrade. Eliminate the reason for unhappy reviews, and the unhappy reviews will simply go away. The End ... Been looking forward to this. Disappointed in the bait and switch. The app discussion on various platforms makes absolutely no mention that the initial purchase only unlocks a limited set of data. Just be upfront about it. Charge more and tell me what’s included. Then I can make a rational purchase decision. I wish I could get a refund so that I’m not supporting this business model. Again, I like the information. I was willing to pay for it. I appreciate the effort that went into it. New update with running backs. After buying the app after hearing running backs would be added I was looking forward to giving this app a chance. Really enjoy Nate and his boys and wanted to support all the hard work I know they put in. But man all the extra charges after the initial buy in are kindve annoying. Especially when I don’t fully get the rating system they’re basing these percentages on. How useful are those indicators really? I get making informed opinions and I appreciate most of the advice and insight just seems like breakout finder is a clone of the dominator app PlayerProfiler.com has (especially the player comparison feature) I find myself wondering why doesn’t PlayerProfiler and breakout finder just merge all together seems like a lot of crossover and features to where I would just think it’d be best for both just to merge efforts. Overall love the direction of the app and still enjoy using what it offers but I’m left wanting more.

More expensive than meets the eye. I’ve only had this for barely a week so the jury is out on how helpful the App/info will be. But 4.99 for the base app, then another 4.99 for the rookie class and then 1.99 each for the 4 additional metrics you need that doesn’t come with the base app, plus the sales tax, grand total was $19.02. I could get some of the same info from the Player Profiler Dynasty Dominator app that I had already paid for. I can’t see me paying for this again next year. -imho
