Doesn’t Sync, EVER. Useless.. This app found my device once but wouldn’t connect to it. It is literally useless. Would give zero stars if I could. Don’t waste your time downloading it.

Will not pair to my iPhone. Useless app if it won’t pair. There is no way to contact app support either. I would give this a zero if I could.

Horrible app. This app is ineffective and hard to set up. It does not link to the apple fitness, and the number of steps on the treadmill are always higher than the app. The treadmill and desk are high quality and worth the price, but I expected the associated app would be of the same quality... it is not...

Potential but bit behind the times. App works okay, syncs good to my tr1200i. UI is good and provides good details. What is missing is the ability to sync the data to other health tracking apps. Hopefully the developer will add sync to Apple health and activity, this would allow the app to expand greatly since that ecosystem works across insurance health monitoring apps. I don’t think anything else in the app is needed beyond this.

Does not sync. The Bluetooth sync does not work making this app useless

Hot garbage. This doesn’t work at all because it won’t connect to the TR1200-DT treadmill via Bluetooth. Renders it pointless. The LifeSpan support email sent me a canned response of things to try and of course nothing worked. They admitted after my response that the app is “currently being worked on and does not run perfectly.” It simply doesn’t work. For as much as these treadmills cost - and they are fantastic treadmills - you would think they would be able to develop a working app. Absolutely unacceptable.

Overa terrible. Can you make an option to upload data without having to be connected via bluetooth? Can you also make it so the activity gets recorded as an exercise on apple health instead of just steps?

No syncing with iPhone or popular fitness apps??. There appears to be no way to sync the Lifespan treadmill with iPhone, Apple Health, MyFitnessPal, or any other popular fitness apps. This is a big fail.

Abysmal Functionality. The app is terribly antiquated which would be fine if it worked regularly, it doesn’t. Most often it won’t connect to the device even though there’s no issue with the Bluetooth in the device or my phone. Not to mention the fact after paying all this money for this treadmill desk it doesn’t whatsoever sink with apples activity app, nor is there Apple Watch app. I suspect it’s because there will be a vast difference in the step count or mileage. Your customers went about half a year or more with no app at all, the hopes were that the next would be better and it’s really not even an upgrade.

Dont Bother. They should take this app down and not be advertising it. Its garbage. Even the error codes are in a different language.

Please fix. Can you please fix the Bluetooth feature. If we spend all this money on a desk treadmill, we want to be able to accurately track our steps on other fitness devices like Apple Watch

Sync non-functional. They took down my review because I said the app is garbage. It’s still garbage.

This app is so bad I might return the treadmill. I expect apps like this to be garbage, but it can’t even do the bare minimum task of pulling data out if your treadmill and delivering it to Apple Health consistently. Completely ruined my entire experience of owning a Lifespan product.

Just use excel. Worst app I’ve ever seen - looks like a beginner project someone made and never went back to fix. Doesn’t adjust to screen size on standard Apple iOS, has image carousel for instructions like a PowerPoint. Bummer it’s useless - just track your miles independently

Won’t detect my TR5000. I have tried two different phones and the app will not detect my DT3 Retro console.

Bluetooth is not new. I have only been able to connect and sync my workout on time. The app doesn’t stay connected yet it shows it is connected.

Worst App Ever!!. I don’t know why I thought my experience would’ve been any different. App connected fine the first time. Used it for two weeks with no problem. Decided to hit the “set goal” button. Mistake!! The screen went white and couldn’t do anything about it. I had to delete and reinstall the app. Now the app won’t connect to treadmill. Great equipment but the worst app!

Useless garbage. Don’t bother, it’s total crap. Can’t pair my treadmill.

Pause may cause loss of data. I found out that if you pause it you may lose your workout information as it doesn’t sync the console to the app. There doesn’t appear to be any memory on the console either. If you pause too long you will lose all tracking. Best to stop it and just start a new workout.

Bad app with weird privacy. This is a bad app. It feels very poorly made. Why does it need location and WiFi password? It asks for Apple Health connection but your steps don’t sync to Apple Fitness. Hard to recommend Lifespan. $2000 for a treadmill and the app is never updated.

Bluetooth connection lasts <30 seconds. App briefly connects to my DT-3-BT then disconnects before I even start walking. What a waste. Lifespan hire some testers and some decent software engineers who take pride in their work. I think a high school kid could write an app better than this.

Straight garbage. I paid over $2000 for a treadmill I don’t even have a functional app. What an embarrassment to the company.

Nope.. Pretty disappointing for how expensive this treadmill is. Very glitchy and the sync with Apple Health is way off. Would be easier to track my steps in an Excel doc than keep trying to use this.

Worst app I have ever seen. It’s total garbage. Does not work.

Lacks ability to sync data to Apple Health app. The app is begging for the ability to sync the data to Apple Health to make this useful.

Don’t buy the treadmill if you want to track steps or workout. App doesn’t even connect via Bluetooth to treadmill desk.

Can’t delete. Useless

It doesn’t work. Ever

Very buggy. This app is pretty buggy bug I was able to figure out what not to do to keep it pretty reliable in recording your walking data. However since iOS 15.5 it will sometimes just say it is saving data but then record nothing. Ie it shows nothing for the session in the history and does not show up in the apple health app. It is very random when this happens, sometimes it works and sometimes not. Very buggy. Please hire someone to fix this app as the treadmill itself is great, the app is terrible.

Not working. I’m using an iPhone 11 and when I try to add the device it does nothing. Not even spin. No way to get my workouts synced.

Has a ways to go. I recently purchased a Lifespan 5500i treadmill and have been using the app for a couple of weeks. It is quite basic and leaves me wishing it provided a lot more information. Once you figure out how to sync data (make sure you turn on the Bluetooth speaker button on the treadmill before you start your workout), you get daily and weekly totals of steps, calories, time on treadmill, distance, average heart rate and maximum speed. Problem is other key data that shows on the treadmill is left off the app such as average pace per mile and highest heartbeat. I wish monthly totals were shown, too, as well as graphs of the data. I have had a few problems with the data provided. My maximum speed has shown as 0 mph on each workout so far. For one workout only average heart rate zone showed up on the app with all the data showing as 0 %. It does not show up on any of my other workout days. Such inconsistencies and the lack of more substantial data is why I give it just three stars.

Needs improvement. Won’t stay connected to the treadmill so it makes it difficult to sync activity

Useless app. It does not do anything. Resets treadmill stats when connecting. Disconnects randomly. Transfers data to app one out of ten times, maybe.

Terrible app. It seems that if you pause a walk on the treadmill, the only way to continue and have the app record is to disconnect the app from the treadmill and reconnect it. No way of determining while connected if the treadmill walking is being recorded until you end the walk, then as often as not you discover the walk was not recorded.

Works Well Enough. I use the app exclusively to transfer and input steps from the Lifespan treadmill to Apple Health. For that purpose, it works well enough. The app connects to the control unit via Bluetooth and syncs any steps it hasn’t recorded yet. It makes sure to only record new steps and doesn’t double count. The only concern I have with the app is that sometimes the control unit thinks the app is still connected. When this occurs, the app is unable to connect via Bluetooth. I try to sync steps whenever I take a break from walking, but due to this intermittent issue I have had times where I was unable to sync some of the steps I had taken. The past reviews mostly say this app doesn’t work, but that isn’t true in my case. I’m using iOS 16 with an iPhone 14.

Stats are not in sync. It is so barebones, it is not even funny! But at least the existing functionality should work but it is only kinda works, sync with my treadmill happens haphazardly, there is no way to update it manually as in good apps by tapping some button to get in sync if it didn’t automatically. I would expect AppleHealth integration from treadmill that costs almost $2,000. Very disappointing.

Will not connect to app. Bluetooth connection will not work to even use app. When I reached out to support, the only response was that the app was flawed.

Turn on the fax machine we are ready to roll. My 6th grader can create an app better. You can easily tell this is a foreign developer because the English and spelling “make no good scence”. The Bluetooth connects but won’t count the steps..

Unreliable and poorly done interface. I like my treadmill desk, but the quality of this app is unacceptable as a feature for a $2000 piece of equipment. It’s unreliable and often doesn’t register major step count progress— for example, sometimes if I’ve walked 10k steps and connect to Bluetooth, it restarts the treadmill erasing my step count and doesn’t record the steps on the app. Also, the interface is terrible and was clearly put together by a non-native English speaker and just plugged into a generic app rather than one tailored to Lifespan/this piece of equipment. Again this is unacceptable for a $2000 piece of equipment.

Not compatible with phone. See the title. The treadmill doesn’t connect with the phone. Useless app.

OK app, unintuitive Bluetooth sync. The app works OK overall. Connects to the treadmill control unit via Bluetooth mostly reliably, and syncs steps with the Health app. The Health app doesn’t seem to count treadmill steps towards daily goals, so one might still get prompted to walk more even after hours on the treadmill, but I don’t believe this is a problem with the LifeSpan app. The Bluetooth sync UI is unintuitive though. This app detects that the treadmill control unit is in Bluetooth mode, and gives a visual cue, but it won’t actually transfer any data until one touches the Bluetooth logo on the screen. There are no hints that the Bluetooth logo is a UI control, and since the app has already responded to the treadmill, one is inclined to think that data is being exchanged. This took a while to figure out.

This app is genuinely awful.. This app is terrible and many steps backwards from the prior version. Aside from the cumbersome setup, many of the instructions are not in English and can’t be changed to English. Also, units of measure are inconsistent so you constantly have to calculate between metric and imperial when entering data. Finally, you have to have an account to work with the app, but the account is different that your lifespan account. There’s no indication of this as you try to repeatedly log in with your lifespan account. This app is a rough beta at best. The app that used to pair with the treadmill before is vastly superior. It was simple and worked. Update: it’s been months since my review and the app still does not work. I’ve contacted support numerous times and the company seems unmotivated to either fix this app or return the old app that worked perfectly. I wish I could return this treadmill and get a competitor product. This company is unfazed by their low quality and user feedback.

Can’t sync. I press the Bluetooth button on my treadmill panel and the all sees it...but it doesn’t seem to sync anything. Have spent 30 minutes trying to figure it out and am beyond frustrated.

Pairing with TR800-DT3. The app doesn’t work. Bluetooth initially pairs but fails to consistently update progress. Basically it’s a waste of storage space. The treadmill itself is great for the price but the app as a selling point is misleading as it is trash.

Cant sync treadmill to iphone. 😩. Bluetooth light flashes on treadmill, but iPhone can’t see it, app can’t see it.

Doesn’t show incline. I love this treadmill and have used it every day since I got it 2 months ago. I walk at an incline of 10 and speed of 6, and track my progress through the app. The screen of the tread shows how many km I ascend by the end of a workout, but the app doesn’t collect that info! Huge gap for me. Hence app only gets 3 stars. Tread is great tho, 5 stars all the way.

Half English half Chinese. App is very out of date. Constantly loses sync with treadmill. Whomever designed the app needs to actually use it as during setup the instructions are in English but prompts and errors are in Chinese. Between this and their poor hardware I understand why this company’s quality control went down hill after moving overseas.

They don’t test their product. Not functional, don’t always save your workouts, lose Bluetooth connection. They absolutely don’t invest in software in 2023, and it’s a a shame for the price of their product. Don’t recommend Lifespan at all.

Doesn’t allow you to put a password. Can’t use this app as the word “PASSWORD” is in the way not allowing the keyboard to work. Too bad as the LifeSpan treadmill is great. Update on October 17 2021: Nothing has changed and as you’ve noticed— nobody has commented or reached out.

What the HECK! THIS APP SUCKS.. I go and walk 2000 steps with the app open and connected and …. Doesn’t sync!!! What the heck? This is basic stuff. Get the data from the $500 console you made me pay for to my app! Why?

Nearly worthless. I’m enjoying my treadmill so far, but the app is nearly worthless. It’s unreliable, often missing whole hour-long sessions and offering no feedback. You can’t even change the settings to KM, even though you can set your preferred units in the app. They just don’t do anything with that information.

Don’t bother. App and Omni hub are terrible at syncing up, app will sometimes miss an entire walk, other times will “sync to apple health” but send over 60% of the steps you actually did The Omni hub should have a MEMORY that syncs up with the app. An activity syncing to your phone should not be reliant on the Bluetooth connection having been active when you stopped the activity. This app was likely created by the lowest bidder and not someone who has actually tried using it

I’d give it ZERO stars if it allowed me to.. Useless app. Plain and simple, incompetent and hopeless.
