I can sleep again and rarely take my anxiety meds after starting my breathing routine.. I highly recommend Breathwrks! I signed up with Breathwrks to help with my anxiety disorder due to me having a panic attack that caused me to quickly develop insomnia and an anxiety disorder. It took me half the night to fall asleep and I take an anxiety medication twice a day or as needed which was getting to be way too often. I went online to search for an answer to help me with my problem and I found Breathwrk. I started the recommended sleep breathing routine when I went to bed and I fell asleep soon after my head laid on my pillow. I woke up the following morning fully rested. I’m now at the end of my free trial period and I fall asleep quickly each night without any tossing or turning. Also my anxiety seems to be under control. I’m already down to one anxiety pill a day. When I feel any anxiety I do a breathing exercise Instead of taking an anxiety pill. Hopefully I won’t need any anxiety meds soon! Also I have more energy after my first week of uninterrupted sleep. Again, I highly recommend Breathwrk! Good luck!

Thank you plz read. Thank you(please read) Hi I deal with a lot of stress and I am only on middle school. My sister drives me crazy. It is not like a normal sibling thing because my brothers don't do that to me and none of anyone I know has this bad of a sibling. My sister makes me feel like I'm going to have a bad panic or anxiety attack. My parents never see my side of the story. This app is very helpful and the first second I download it I felt better. The only thing I don't find amazing is the ranking. I understand it is a good addition to the app but sometimes I feel a bit of disagreement towards that because I feel like you should not be ranked from an app to help you feel better. But other than that it is a great app and anyone should love it. I would really enjoy a response because it would make me really happy that y'all saw my review because love this app and it help me so much.

I was deleted by the app- Breathwrk is no help. I changed carriers from AT&T to T-Mobile. When I tried to log back into this app, it told me that “user has been deleted“. I have since sent two emails to the developers and I have not received any kind of help. I have been without this app for almost 2 weeks already. I paid for a full year subscription. I’m only 4 months in to the year subscription and I’m not able to access the app. I feel like my emails are being dumped into this vast hole of emails that they don’t intend on responding to. This is very disappointing and upsetting. I have recommended this app to numerous people. It has help me with my anxiety and with my panic attacks, but this is ridiculous. I paid for this app and I can’t get any access to it because I was deleted by the app and no one can help me get back in.

Great app! But that notification sound needs a re-do. This app really helps a lot when I need to calm myself down. A+ on the layout and experience. The one thing that isn’t calming, however, is that notification sound, which is the very realistic and unsettling sound of someone deeply and sharply breathing. When I first heard it alone in my dimly lit room, trying to take a nap, it took me about a minute to realize that some unwelcome intruder was not lurking in my midst. I promptly put my baseball bat down and turned off your notifications. On its own, it isn’t a terrifying notification sound, but when you thought you were alone, it’s a proper jump scare. Please change it to anything else. Thx

it’s great BUT .... so i have only used the app a few times now, and so far i do like it. it’s simple, teaches about helpful breathing techniques and free, which is really awesome. how ever when choosing my lung capacity i choose small, but still the inhale part of the exercise is too long for me. i don’t have any breathing conditions so my lungs should be fine. what i think might be an issue is my over all size. i’m 5’1 and 110 pounds so my lungs probably aren’t as big as the average person? still if they tailored exercises to a woman’s body i think small lung capacity should have fit me. kinda makes me think they might have based the timing of how long to inhale for/exhale for based on an average male body which doesn’t fit my body even when i’m on a “small” setting.

Best Purchase of All Time. While this was accidentally purchased, it feels serendipitous & I realize was meant to be. This is the best purchase we have ever made, App or otherwise. Becoming a master of our own breathing is delightful & empowering in so many ways. Breath work is the most transformative & easily accessible practice possible. This app makes it so fun to explore play with breath work but also the science behind it. I’d love to know more about scholarships, and how gifting them may work. I think anyone curious about this can be gifted it, & with an “Appreciation Economy” the practitioners who have available resources will surely be more than happy to purchase this invaluable tool at the higher price point, helping the business end of the app remain successful. And still, I’d love sharing this with others, possibly with an option for them to donate later (? Once they realize it’s immense value?) Also, this app would be an AMAZING educational supplement to Yoga Teachers in training, or anyone in the health field really. Just a thought, you guys are likely already on it! Again, BRAVO & THANKS for this awesome and FUN app!!!

Amazing. This app makes me so calm and when I have MCAS like Tomorrow this app will definitely help me be calm and if you have a panic attack or have stress you can go on calming and pick the one that’s happening to you for example I was just so stressed not that long ago and I came on this app and took the calm breathing test and it helped a lot and if you have TikTok you can go to link and put this app on the link so that others have a chance to be calm and release some stress cause it’s good to think of others as well and this is why I give the app 5 stars because it’s amazing by the looks and help it can give you and others!

GREAT APP. Just to let you know I’m a 10 year old girl and starting middle school in a few months. My mom is a therapist and works with a lot of people with anxiety and knows a lot about it. I get really anxious at times and when I have anxiety attacks my mom helps me breathe. I live a few blocks away from my school now when I switch schools I’m going to be like 10 blocks away. And I know in middle school I’m going to be very stressed out especially knowing that when my sister went to this middle school she was up really late doing homework and I’m not gonna have my mom there help me breathe. So I downloaded this app to help me practice breathing if I ever have anxiety during school. It’s a great app and I’m starting a routine of doing the sleep sessions for five minutes. It really works and made me tired after doing it!! If you have anxiety I really recommend getting this app!!without the subscription they have calm, sleep ,awake , and recharge. Because of his kid friendly as well!! Great app 😁😁😁

Amazing app, small suggestion. I’ll preface this by saying that I absolutely love this app & actively recommend it to anyone and everyone. Proper breathing definitely can have a positive effect on just about everybody’s daily life. This being said, I would love some more customizability. One of my primary, daily uses for this app is before and while at the gym. I would love to see a “mute” option or something of the sort so that I can go through a breathing exercise while keeping my music on and staying in the zone. In addition, instead of 3 length options I would love to see more of a drag-to-desired-length option, where you choose the amount of breaths/rounds you want to do. If either of these are implemented in the future I’ll be beyond happy! Love the app, and definitely will continue recommending it to friends and family.

Well researched exercises!. I’ve used this app ever since it was new, and in development. It is full of useful breathing exercises that are applicable to many areas of life. Just as important, it is built of a team of people who seem dedicated to improving not only the quality of the app, but also the efficacy of these useful exercises. I’m one of the people who has had a chance to speak with a member of the Breathwrk team, and although I cannot say much in this regard, I think the app is going in a very good direction. There have been some issues as they’ve been updating the app to include pro membership, but the team is very quick to try to resolve these problems. They are very dedicated to the success of the app, and it’s effects on people’s lives. These exercises really work, and at the very least I recommend them to people I know... even though I get some funny looks when I tell them about the concept. I recommend giving it a shot, or at least looking into breathing exercises and what they can do.

Overpriced. I love this app, I’ve used this almost everyday since I first discovered this app. It really has helped me when I needed a break from the world. But I cant say the same now. The price is utterly ridiculous for a monthly subscription, I’m on a fixed income and i just cannot afford something like this anymore. The $10/month price tag is just unjustified at this point and the sad part is— all of my favorite experiences are locked BEHIND the paywall! Especially the ‘migraine’ exercise which helps with managing my migraine attacks. You’d think something as debilitating as migraines are that thousands of people suffer here in this country could at least be a free resource. But no, they really be greedy imo. I know they have this buy one get one thing and they usually do giveaways but unfortunately since I was subscribed to them in the past I’m pretty much unable to get the discount. Oh well, it’s been a good 3 years but I really cannot afford this anymore.

10/10 recommend. I love this app! After consistently using this for a couple weeks, my breath hold doubled. It’s so easy to use and I use it ALL the time. I use it when I wake up to help wake me up, on my breaks at work to re-energize me, and before sleeping. Using it before bed has been particularly life changing, I’m able to fall asleep much faster and stay asleep the whole night. Something REALLY cool is that Im a chronic mouth breather and it caused me to snore and drool. Since using this app, I’ve noticed it’s easier to breathe through my nose and my roommates commented that I’m snoring less. Im not very good at mediation because of my adhd but this app has small breathing sessions you can do; They help ground me and calm my brain. In addition, by consistently using it, my focus and breathing has improved.

Excited for further development. I just recently subscribed, and I’m so happy I did. This is the first app of its kind that doesn’t feel phony or overly pretentious to me. The visuals and vibrations help keep me centered and focused. I also love hearing about the science behind why breath work is beneficial to our mind & body. I’m really excited to keep learning and using these techniques in my day-to-day life. However, I decided to hop over here and write a review because I feel slightly discouraged after not being able to do a lesson on focus due to my deviated septum. I understand that there are some techniques I simply just won’t be able to practice because of restricted airflow in my left nostril, but I would love to see more accommodations and lessons geared towards those of us out there with nasal obstructions or sinus issues. The app is still amazing though, and I look forward to further development!

Breathwrk review. I really enjoyed the app, I have been testing it out this past week for one of my classes. I would use the calming one the most when I was feeling more anxiety and it definitely helped calm my breathing down, that was my favorite one. I also gave all of the free breathing exercises a try. A few of them such as the winding down and calm down one were basically the same exercises so I didn’t understand why they had them both. Other than that they were great ways to help calm down my anxiety. Often times, when you are feeling overwhelmed or worked up just getting control of your breathing can help relax all of your nerves, heart rate, and all other sensory’s. In class we did a similar breathing exercise to the calm down one and my teacher asked how we felt and many students reported feeling relaxed. Why this is, is because deep breathing activates our parasympathetic system, which is part of our nervous system (not the one that activates fight or flight) and when we do the deep breathing exercises it sends signals to that part of the brain to let it know you’re safe/okay and there is no need to activate the fight or flight response and gets more oxygen to the parasympathetic system instead or the sympathetic system (fight or flight response area in our brain) so our body knows to remain calm. It is a very good way to help calm one’s anxiety down.

Encountered a non-blocking bug but support has been responsive. UPDATE: I am still dealing with a bug that appears to be an edge case. The bug is annoying but not a blocker. Breathwrk support has been very responsive, understanding, and helpful. I will update this review again after the bug is hopefully resolved and I can completely use the app. Is saving a new or edited habit a locked paid option? When trying to do either, I have a big, black “Save” button at the bottom of the screen but tapping it does nothing. I am trying this app before purchasing a subscription and deleted one of my daily habits and now I can’t get it back. My iOS is updated and I have the most current version of the app installed.

Anxiety helper. Great app with the guided and timed breathing exercises and the reminders for sleeping, waking, calming, and recharging breaks to breathe throughout the day. Anxiety is something that so many people struggle with and the gentle reminders to just pause what you’re doing and to just breathe is such an incredible asset to have. We learned a similar breathing pattern in my psychology class that I use regularly to remember that something’s are out of my control and I need to stop and relax. We learned in my psychology class that most times our anxiety spirals out of proportion and I feel as of this is a great tool to use to combat those feelings before they get too strong. Anxiety varies greatly depending on the person and we all have different things that cause us to feel anxious but I feel as if this app is a great tool for all because it’s so broad and helpful to many different situations.

Why didn’t I know about this sooner. They literally have a breathing rhythm for every situation one might find themselves in stressed they got that worried got that too can’t sleep or do you need to focus guess what they got that too broski having ADHD it can be hard to focus or even staying present in the moment or situation at that time this app has help me not only control myself but has given me the ability to adapt it has given me the tools needed to stay laser focused to remain calm and to have a clear mind with a few minutes and some simple controlled breathing I become different and things become clear it’s so simple it’s advanced

Give Us a Chance. I've had Breathwrk for a good while now and think highly enough of it that I bought the premium version. It is so worth it, as I like to do longer meditations to work on the flow of breath. It's helped me literally take in & release oxygen greater than I've ever known how to breathe Lol. When I feel the vibrations of the inhale it soothes me. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because of the daily streaks. I am a neurodivergent, busy mompreneur. I'd be more apt to use it daily if the developers gamified or incentivized how we can keep the streak run if we miss a day or so. Please consider allowing us 2-3 available days to freeze our streaks so we won't lose it altogether. We could pay for a streak freeze through earned rewards, (premium like myself), or cash. I then become disappointed in myself but understand life happening when I go back to the app the next time. The disappointment visually to be back at 0 days after missing one sometimes will keep me away from the app. To always start over vs. pause is unreasonable to me; it'll cause me to have further anxiety (a need to breathe). Please look out for the neurodivergent/ADHD/autistic folks of the world who are naturally more forgetful and busier minded than typical.

Amazing!. This really helped my overall I love this app and whoever made it. I have adhd and I get nervous going into class at school I’ll make sure to listen to these more often again thank you so much also. I would have gave it 5 stars but you have to pay to get breathing exercises for stomach aches etc? I would recommend maybe making like stuff to unlock more stuff to use and better things not like the breathing exercises but like I said. Overall this is a wonderful and great app for me and other people that have breathing problems like asthma etc thank you for taking ur time to read this and sorry this sentence is so long but thanks one again for making this app have a good day!.

Amazing app!. I love this app! It’s so useful, especially for those with anxiety and depression. I use this app every day to recover from my chronically disabling anxiety and major depressive disorder. I wake up and use this and every time I use this app I feel hope that this is rewiring my brain and my body for a healthier mind and physical state. My favorite free breaths on this app are ‘calm’ ‘panic button’ and ‘uplift’. My favorite premium breath is the ‘euphoria’ breath, it boosts my mood and makes me feel more energetic. I love the recent update that shows you the place where we are supposed to breathe from being added into the video so that I don’t have to keep double checking every time I do a new breath. I’m glad I found this app. Don’t let the low amount of downloads on this app fool you into thinking this is a low quality app. This app is high quality and criminally underrated, I would recommend this to everyone. Thank you to the person who made this app, God bless you. ❤️

Skeptical at first but this app TRULY WORKS!!!. Breathing exercises have been what I’ve needed the most for most of my adult life. I never thought it could really help (like every therapist told me!). I’ve been suffering this year with severe depression, anxiety and Complex PTSD. When I had my worst panic attack earlier this year, I was in my car and couldn’t breathe (along with all the other classic symptoms). I remember thinking that I just needed guided breath work that I had learned in PHP. I tried to Google but couldn’t think straight. It was awful and terrifying. No one I asked knew of any resources for moments like these. But I finally found one. And it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for! I’ve only had it less than a week, but IT IS AMAZING!! IT REALLY WORKS! They have so many different moods and situations to choose from depending on what you need at the time. AND, you can schedule the short breathing sessions for whatever days and times you choose- MY FAVORITE FEATURE! I purchased the yearly subscription after the free trial and it’s one of my best purchases ever!! GET THIS APP. RIGHT. NOW.

Great app! Keeping me on track. Love the design of this app. It’s the first breath work app that has actually been keeping me using it regularly. I like the descriptions of the different types of breathing exercises, as well as the option to choose different amounts of time, so it never feels like a big commitment if you are busy. The preset schedules provide easy templates that you can further customize to meet your own needs and schedule. I find myself looking forward to my next breathing session, with the notifications keeping me on track. Yes it’s a subscription, but it’s such a small amount per month on the annual plan for your mental and physical health. Would love to see the ability to create my own exercises, but super happy so far.

Small, annoying glitches. I paid for the app for 1 year. I used it almost daily for breathing before bedtime with my kids. They loved the calm and bedtime options and I loved that the breaths were short enough to incorporate into a bedtime routine. However, there were a ton of small, annoying issues that never improved. (I sent an email and never received a response.) The sound effects don’t line up with the image, the ball doesn’t follow the line, the breathing cue doesn’t match the ball or the music- it varies depending on the breath (and some work perfect every time). Every time we used the wind down breath activity on the home page, the app crashed when we finished. For an app that should be relaxing, it was annoying. Also, there didn’t seem to be anything new added for casual users. The kid breaths were great but very limited. I am just not sure what my $40 (bought it on Black Friday 2022) went toward. I did not purchase it again this year.

Love the app but can be improved. Edit: i signed up for a free 7 day trial for the paid version but all the features are still locked, even after reinstalling the app. First of all: I use the app daily as it supports me strongly on my health journey. But: I find that I prefer the “old” visualizations better (circle following a line or circle growing small and bigger) instead of those newer visualizations (text in front of a moving landscape) of the daily classes. Why? You can’t see how long you are supposed to breathe in and out, so you are always guessing the first time around and you can’t anticipate what happens next with those newer visualizations. If you could at least add a seconds timer which counts backwards under the breathe in and breathe out line, that would help. And I find that the moving landscape back and forth stresses me out, but I am not sure if that’s just taste. Besides: keep up the good work!

Good app. I use this every night before bed for some breathing exercises and occasionally at other times for specific needs. I like how each exercise is explained in detail and somewhat customizable. I don’t like that none of the exercises become progressively harder, even though you do them often and regardless of whatever level the app tells you you’ve unlocked. Meaning that the effects aren’t as beneficial as they once were when you started and they’ve become too easy. If this function isn’t added in the future I probably won’t renew my subscription.

GET THE APP!. I’m 10 years old and have a little anxiety. I got this app because of that reason. I have a super hard time trying to sleep at night but since I’ve been using this app I have been getting to sleep SO much faster! But this app doesn’t just help with sleep, it also has a HUGE variety of things to help you with. Like, energizing, anxiety, stress, and health improvement. (They really work) You can also be helped improved with different habits like meditation, yoga ect. The best part about this app is that it is FREE!! So you can get helped without worrying about paying all the time. So please get this app and give it a try!! Thank you!😊 🙏🏻 😇

Generally Decent. I really enjoy this app but there are certain aspects that could be improved. I tend to get frustrated with instructor breathing as the count tends to be off and I’ll be mid-breath cycle and they restart a breath cycle as if I was supposed to be holding my breath for an extra ten seconds while they talked. If there were a visualization like the app uses for the standard breaths, that would be helpful but might not be worth putting instruction over it since it tends to go off the rails (the two I’m thinking of are sleep, guided by Davi Brown, and Breathing for joy guided by Ace). There are some with instructors that are just fine but it can be a gamble so I try to avoid them. The wake up, calm down, and wind down functions are also novel but would love a preview of what breaths are coming so there’s an expectation of when to change, especially with wind down when I don’t want to be watching my phone for cues as I breathe in bed. The vibrate during wind down is so faint, too, that it can be tough to follow with eyes closed. I use this app at least once a day but hope there are some tweaks to improve.

Love it. Hello there I just wanted to say that this app helps me so much I’m in high school I’m 15 and I go through a lot of stress and I have serious anxiety that I work with every day and it’s so tough to relax when I don’t know how to control it this helps me so much and it’s just amazing you should totally download it also it gives you opportunities to start new habits of like meditating and then it said it lets you set goals for yourself which I think is very helpful when I was little I think first grade I was put into small classes because I have a learning disability which makes me learn like slower than other people and I’ve had so much anxiety from that because people used to make fun of me and I still am in those classes and I really made so much friends in those classes that are not in those classes anymore and that are still in those classes I just definitely recommend you getting this up it really really helped me so much improve on how to help my anxiety and it’s just so helpful so five stars

Breathwrk Review. I found this app to helpful with monitoring my breathing, which is something I have been working on throughout my life. Although breathing may seem like a simple task, it can be more difficult to accomplish. In my PSY 250 class in the beginning of our semester, we discussed and practiced a breathing technique. I found the form of breathing we practiced in class to be very beneficial because it allowed me to feel at peace and to be very calm. It also gave me a sense of feeling in control of myself. The breathing technique we practiced included counting breathes of inhales and exhales. And making a hum noise when we exhale. This technique may seem odd, but it was especially helpful for me since I have anxiety. I liked this app because it allowed me to track the time of day I did my breathing exercises and sent reminders on my phone to breathe. I was able to practice the breathing technique I learned in class on this app. I feel much more confident in my ability to breathe, in order to feel a sense of peace and control.

Very good!. I am in college and in my psychology class we talk about how breathing exercises can help reduce stress. The reason breathing exercises are said to reduce stress is because they activate the body’s relaxation response. The deep breathing increases oxygen flow to the brain, which improves focus and tension. Aside from helping manage stress I've learned from my mom that using breathing exercises help reduce anxiety and help her during anxiety attacks. I remember her saying how it helps ground her or gives her something else to focus on. I could see that as in the moments of practice I'm only focusing on breathing and nothing else. I used this app for the last week because I have been experiencing a lot of stress myself and I would have to say that it does help a lot. Doing it multiple times a day really helps me relax and focus on what I’m doing instead of freaking out over it. The music that plays while you inhale and exhale also is a good touch because slow music like that is very calming. It was interesting to do something like this because I never have been consistent with it and now that I have I can tell that it actually is very helpful. The most I’ve done for breathing exercises is the ones we practice in class, from now on I will be using this app all the time.

Great app for quick meditations, but needs a few improvements:. The app is great way to combat panic attacks, or what I call “spiraling thoughts.” A lot of the exercises can be utilized for free, and it’s very easy and engaging. However, the app could be better. 1) As of right now, there are only a handful of voice guided exercises. Once more voice-guided exercises are available, I’ll subscribe. 2) I wish there was more extensive data on how many minutes/breathes you’ve completed. A lot of meditation apps keep charts and graphs of your progress and activity, but this app just tells you how many breathes/minutes you’ve done in total.

Well that’s different. I did not try the paid version. I tested two different free ones. One seemed ok so I tried the calm one while in a anxiety attack that was leading to panic. I’m not sure where they got the idea that breathing in and out fast was going to calm anyone. During the 4 minutes it changed the breathing technique several times. Almost seemed as if on purpose to confuse the body and mind. After the season I still felt jittery but overall confused. Not calm. Then we’ll maybe calm. It did seem to break my thought process which often times doesn’t happen with deep breathing. The other one I tried was their stress series. That one seemed pretty good and almost convinced me to buy the full version. Thankfully I tested out more. I’ve been doing breathing exercises for years due to anxiety and panic. Typically I use the mindfulness on my watch or the calm app. I wanted to try something different as having choices is nice. I’m still not sure if this is for me. The quick breathing felt odd and as if at times it was increasing the feelings I was looking to calm. I am grateful they give users an opportunity to try things before buying. So many apps do not allow such access or they give a free trial trying to lock everyone in to a plan.

Faithful for this app. I didn’t think this app would help with anything when I first got it but it has gotten me through breathing when I was hiking it helped me wake up when I was to tired to get up for school it has helped me sleep when I had a lot on my mind and it has kept me calm when I’ve had panic attacks and stress. I am great full this app is a thing, the app did a better job than a person would and I plan on keeping it. I highly recommend if you stress easy or panic or have trouble catching breath. It has many different types of breath work and different ways to practice your breathing.

Just breathe. I really like this app it’s easy to work and understand and it give u lots of different options of different breathing techniques and relaxation methods such as reduce anxiety, get energized, improve sleeping patterns, increase focus, etc. this app and these methods r beneficial because they help u control ones anxiety, decreases ur heart rate, reduces stress, irritability, fatigue, and helps u with concentration. These exercises r simple and easy to do most of them consist of listening to the directions spoken to u by a calming gentle voice and inhaling and exhaling when told to do so for a specific period of time I would recommend this app if u r struggling with anxiety and have a high stress level.

I like this app except for one major thing. I really like this app except for one thing that has been bothering me for years: there’s no way for users to manually set their day so the counter automatically determines when your day starts and when it stops. This is very frustrating when you are trying to get a certain streak number. In addition, I don’t think that it is right that we don’t have the opportunity to turn off the streak counter. Sometimes that distract me and gives me anxiety, which defeats the purpose of this app! This app should not give me anxiety while also, trying to help me take it away. I also suggest that the music in the guided meditations was available for the non-guided meditations. I would love the continuous music and the breathing cues without the talking.

Beneficial. This app made it very easy to relax and reset. I could work on my breathing at any time of day and there were so many different variations that targeted specific things. Breathing techniques are very important because they allow us to fully relax and relieve tension. It allows us to be able to just be in the moment and not have to focus on other things that are going on. It calms us down and slows our breathing. Breathing techniques can help us reset and refocus and this app did a good job of helping me to do this. I specifically liked the calm one and the sleep because they tell you the exact number of seconds you should be inhaling and exhaling which made the process easier for me. I was able to focus on my breathing which calmed me down and it was able to relieve some of my stress.

Love although not appreciating the new update since it didn’t keep my previous info. What a helpful app. The alleviate and calm breathings are my favorite! I have a terrible tendency to hold my breath which I’m sure is part of whyI love this appmy blood pressure is too high. I shared theses breaths with some family members the next day after we had gotten into a yucky fight. All four of us breathed together using these two breaths (you can talk even the most cynical into doing something for 1 min 20 seconds) and then they were happy to continue for the 1 min. I wish it was available for huawei for my mom I look forward to to buying the whole app soon. In the in between time, I am happy to be able to breathe better. Updated sept 9 I’m still amazed, greatly enjoying and utilizing this healing breath app and would love to purchase it. It helps me with my multiple sclerosis quite a lot, unfortunately it’s this same multiple sclerosis that keeps me from being able to afford the $69. 99 yearly price tag since I can no longer work. I’m glad at least to have access to the free app version. Thank you 🙏🏼

Finally things fixed... Version 7.25 spoken too soon, sound still doesn’t work when starting session.. —->Version 7.20 finally stuff below fixed. Also correct adding to total breaths seem work now, so far if I did 60 in Energize it was adding nothing or handful at the end. I’m glad of fixes, unfortunately for many weeks I had to cope with all of it and my feedback was ignored, and that is not right.. ——> This is for latest 7.15 and basically still not fixed: sound out-of-sync with visual for Stimulate, Sleep.. For example Sleep which is 4 inhale-7 hold-8 exhale and I pick 2:32 duration and about half time on inhale sound visual already shows hold counting. Energize , Dream, Calm often no sound when started, have to pause, go to Sound and tap it off/on and resume to get sound working. The stuff above may work first time if you completely close app. I’m paying for it but I feel like I should be getting my money back while app do not work as it supposed to. I have been voicing the same issues for last 3 updates and I’m slowly giving up. It’s rarely you see good app with such bad execution.

This works great. When I was in school we would do these breath exercises and I never liked them because I always felt so silly and never saw a use for them I then saw this app on social media and decided to try it and boy did it work I was feeling very stressed and upset about how the school year is ending and it was getting bad and within 5 or so minutes I was calmed this isn’t saying that it will make you forget your problems but it helps you deal with them and it does so very well that is why I am giving this app five stars because not only does it work I don’t feel silly it’s more personal this way it’s just you sorta like meditation anyway if you have made it to the end of this long review I hope if you need it you will try it because you should always try something before you turn it down (unless it’s murder or something) 😉👌👍🏼😅

Absolutely love!!. i have bad anxiety & panic attacks. i’m 11 years old and i use this to help calm me down, fall asleep, or just to give myself a friendly reminder that i’m ok! i rate this 5 stars because you don’t have to pay for it, it really helps (me personally), it can be used for many things such as, calming, sleeping, waking up, and many more!! this is great for people like me who are trying to become a better you (i have bad insecurities) and that’s something i’m working on. you don’t have to be perfect all the time and i honestly want to spread this message. your beautiful just the way you are no matter your sexuality/nor gender. this app can help with that stuff. bullying, abuse anything because it makes you take deep breath’s which calms you down. i just want everyone to know that god loves you no matter what. no matter if you don’t believe him he is there just say a prayer if you need everything will be ok! i want everyone reading this to have a awesome day… your loved!

Making a difference in my life. I have been dabbling in conscious breathing for a couple years now and while I have always known how important it is, I have not found a great way to get control of it. I have tried Wim Hof and a couple other 'yogi's' and have picked up a thing or two from each of them, none took me to the next level. I feel like this app is taking me to the next level and in reality excited about it. The only thing I wish they would do is have more guided courses. I loved the intro course and really wish they had some more. I would even pay for sessions with a coach so I hope they add something like that in the future.

It gives me a healthy way to calm down. As a teenager I find i still have issues when dealing with my emotions. More specifically, when my mom would sit me down to look through jobs or college ideas I’d become overly upset. Even though I knew I was being over-reactional, I couldn’t find a healthy way to calm down. At least until I downloaded Breathwrk! When I feel mad or like crying at someone or something I’m able to remove myself from the situation and take a second to breathe. It helps put my head back in the game to tackle difficult situations and if anyone has problems like this as well, I highly recommend at least trying this app!

What’s with every app requiring subscriptions. Originally I gave this app one star because I couldn’t actually use it. It would crash every time I tried to open it. Now, everything seems to be working and I have been using it for the past couple of days. I love the concept of the app that it is just focused on breath work. I have tried meditation, but could never get into it. However, what is up with almost every app offering a subscription? I have had IPhones since they first came out and have only paid for three apps total which were all one time fees. At least the free version of this app is still great, but I don’t think the paid version is worth it. There doesn’t seem to be that many added features with the subscription.

Good Exercises, Poor UI. The breathing exercises are great and the visualizations and instructions are good, but the app is over-complicated. There are too many additional screens that pop up after finishing an exercise, the “now” page feels overwhelming with an exercise sort of shoved in your face that auto plays, I avoid that tab completely. The schedule is nice, but after my phone has been on airplane mode and I click an exercise it often brings me to the “Subscribe” page, where I have to either close down the app or click the plan I already have, only to be told I already have it, then the app begins functioning again. Also some instructions for exercises are above the visualizations and some are hidden in the info section and a couple of the primary circular visualizations wont show. The ability to turn off vibration mode for the exercises (which drains phone battery rapidly) should be in the settings tab for all exercises, so I don’t have to manually shut it off for every individual exercise. App UI was better a year ago. Not sure what they are trying to do, it could be so much simpler and more functional. I want to love this app. Literally remove the excess and it’s 5 stars. This is a breath app, keep it simple.

Pricey (UPDATED). Update March 30th, 2022: The developers contacted me on this comment and directed me to fill out a form for a scholarship. When they said “Buy One, Give One”, they meant it. I can tell you, if you can’t afford Breathwrk, they will absolutely do their best to help you. I received a scholarship from them directly in around one day. Since then I’ve been using a multitude of their premium breathing exercises, and I’ve fallen in love. Breathwrk is helping me daily now, and I regret nothing. If you like this app and you can, please do pay for this app and support them. It helps people like me who can’t afford it, and it helps them keep their program alive. I’m a kid whose dissociation and anxiety severely impacts their ability to live and perform in things, and breathing through things is one of the only things I’ve ever found that works. I appreciate what Breathwrk has done for me to no end. OLD REVIEW: I would love to pay for a pro account, I really would, but I honestly cannot afford the price given. This app would be a nigh-indispensable tool to help me deal with dissociation, and it sometimes does, but with so many timers locked behind a paywall, I find it difficult to justify paying such a high price. It’s more like it’s the price of convenience more than the price of content. I really do love this app, I love the way it looks, the way it works, and it helps me more than the developers would ever know. I wish I could use it more.

Effective and elegant app. I’ve never written an app review but I had to for this app!! I found it on Tiktok and got interested enough to check it out. I love that the exercises are short (the ones I’ve done are a couple mins) so it doesn’t feel like a time commitment. It’s simple and it makes me feel so good to do them. I love the vibrate feature so I can do the exercise with my eyes closed. Also love how it keeps track of streaks/total breaths. The Habits feature is great & also love the different “pre-set” daily habit options - makes it easy to set up a routine throughout the day without doing all the picking myself. Overall great app, really helpful for mental health and relaxation, wonderful features and sleek & friendly UI! Also reasonable price for the year long subscription - I will be subscribing!

Amazing, but…. The work and time put into the app is shown for sure. It has time set schedules, classes, different breathing exercises for different purposes, and a lot more. The only problem is the subscription. I would definitely consider getting it if I could but there’s just no way. I’ve been running and working out a lot to prepare for Marine Basic Training, and i’ve always had problems with my breathing while running. The app definitely can help with stress, calming down, and relief without having to pay for it. I would recommend downloading it because it may be exactly what you’re looking for, but for me personally, what i need Id have to pay for.

review. I really enjoy this app!! It’s a great way to take time out of the day to calm down and take a few minutes for yourself to reset. I really enjoyed that it creates a personally schedule for you and guides you through it. It also gives you notifications so you don’t forget!!! Another feature I really liked about this app is that you can do challenges to better your sleep or have more energy. Breathing exercises can be beneficial because stress is a big part of everyone’s lives and abdominal breathing helps to control the nervous system and brings the body back to homeostasis. It also help to slow the heart rate if one of feeling anxious or have anxiety about something. Breathing helps the body and mind to feel calm and tackle the issue at hand. This is a great app, highly recommended!!!

Thank you for making fixes. Update to the update: app seems to be fixed for the time being… thank you Breathwrk! Update: latest version of Breathwrk is super disappointing, especially as a paid subscriber. The Calm breaths (1, 3 and 6 minutes) aren’t synced correctly, which is very frustrating and feels stressful. There are similar problems with other breaths. Please resolve these issues ASAP, Breathwrk team!!! It’s been months with no resolution, no communication, or transparency about what’s going on. I used to be the biggest Breathwrk enthusiast and champion (see my first review below), but now I’m just frustrated and disappointed. Original review: Before Breathwrk I struggled with anxiety, heart palpitations, back and neck tension… so many physical and mental symptoms of stress. I have tried everything short of meds to manage stress and anxiety - therapy, MBSR courses, meditation, exercise, journaling, yoga, etc etc - and those tools are all so helpful, but I was still struggling to control my breath during moments of stress. Cue Breathwrk - magic sorcery for stress! My favorite is Calm, the 4 in, 6 out timing keeps me chilled out throughout my work week. I love the soothing sounds and visuals, it’s like a spa for my mind. Seriously one of the best apps ever invented - THANK YOU to the wonderful people who developed this app!!!

Amazing and calming ✨. I’ve been having a lot of anxiety lately and when I saw this app I ignored it, finally I decided to download it because my stress was getting worse. As soon as I downloaded I was myself my stress went down to its lowest. Also you can set up a schedule for dial detoxes and pick what days you want, it’s like an alarm for breathing and de-stressing. Also once you’ve done a breathing activity you can pick if you would like vibrations, music, or shapes. Which is so helpful, when you’re done with an activity it tells you you’ve gotten to a new level and you can share to your friend or family to share your level. I highly recommend this app for people who struggle with anxiety or stress, everything’s going to be ok and you’re not alone ily 🤍🤍🌟

Really good app!. i always use this app for helping me sleep. i can never fall asleep and i’m awake for hours trying to sleep. BUT THEN! i found this app, i fall asleep within 5 min after it finishes. FEATURES: •voice- it was a bit hard for me to find the voice at first but i eventually found it and i forgot

Honestly it’s amazing. So I just downloaded it and tried it the next minute I’m already addicted to doin these 😅

It really works!. I did a couple of minutes of breath work to help me focus and boy did it really help me. Looks like I’ll be using this app for a while.

Great app.. Love the push notification reminder to do this work!

Interesting. I have only been using the (free version) program for 2 days. I find it easy to navigate use. Breathing exercises are shot, instructions are good and science behind them is explained. I am still exploring it.

Awesome app!!. This app is user friendly and has a bunch of different and useful breath exercises at your fingertips. I’ve recently just started using it and I pick it up every night before bed to wind down. I’m currently practicing some of the morning exercises. The only thing I would prefer if the exercises were guided by voice rather than vibration. Other than that I highly recommend.

Free and amazing. I struggle with anxiety and have tried many apps such as headspace and calm but to use them you have to pay. This app helps me to calm down my anxiety at night or during the day. I like that I can choose to focus on anxiety or sleep or focus etc

Love it. Fantastic app with loads of free stuff. I paid for upgrade and glad I did. looking forward to more voiceovers please team!

None of these methods work??. I've downloaded this app 10 minutes ago and firstly I tried the sleeping one and it hadn't of done much, second I did the calming one for my heart rate but that caused me stress?

Access to breath work exercises. Yeah, I can agree, this app has amazing exercises for people suffering with many conditions. Personally, I like them too, but the lack of exercises that I can access can affect me in a way. Pretty much most of the exercises require ‘breathwrk’ pro and I can’t make online purchases. I also don’t want to pay for something I barely use. I suffer from anxiety, adhd and shortness of breath, and episodes that are associated with those issues don’t happen regularly. So I could only use this app when I need it.

Breathwrk is amazing!. Breathwrk has really helped me de stress, get energised, sleep, and calm down. If you’re looking for a app that helps you do all of those things breathwrk is the perfect app for it. I know this sounds cliche but if I could give this app 6 stars I would.

In and Out. Not so hard right?? Well get into these breathworks and make every one count❤️

Small sessions, big gains.. I’ve been using the win hof app for about 2 years now, and I’ve always found it too strong, I had to tone down the number of breathes just to get through a session. I find this app great because the “energize” session is very similar to the win hof app but less intense which makes it easier for me to do. And I get better results. Also, I am doing the wind down, sleep and calm sessions which bring me back to grounded feeling and allows me to get on with whatever I am doing whether it’s trying to go to sleep, or focus on work. Great app, loving it so far 👌

Amazing. I got this app because I saw it on TikTok. And I thought it would be a good idea to see What it would be like so I downloaded it And I saw they had ones for ANXIETY wich I was like wow this should help me Because I have pretty bad anxiety It has since I got it I have used it for me To sleep faster and better And when ever I have an anxiety attack I use it an sit helps You need this app especially if you have anxiety

Sloppy and hard to follow. I’ve tried six different sessions. Instructors talk non-stop, talk too quickly, count too many things and count too fast. Constant, fast chatter is not conducive to relaxation. They also mis-pronounce basic terminology (eg the word is ‘autoNOMic’) and don’t allow for breathing exercises to be completed slowly and mindfully. Noisy, busy, amateurish. I’m a qualified meditation teacher and I won’t be using this any more. Try the free weekly subscription before you spend money. Very disappointing.

Wonderful app and the team are so helpful. So I had some issues with the app a few weeks ago and Layla reached out to me to assist, not only is the app wonderful, it’s helped me immensely with anxiety, panic and sleep but the team are kind and friendly, they are still helping to fix the streak count but that’s minor compared to the issues they looked at and are rectifying, I am grateful for this app and it’s been with every penny. Thank you so much.

Berry calming and helpful. I like this app because it can calm you or energize you I also find that it helps with anxiety 🤩😻🥰

Don’t knock it til you try it!. I tried this today for the first time and honestly you have to try it!!! It really works in energising you, calming you, anything you want. Give it ago. The app itself is put together really well and easy as to use.

Great techniques for calming mood and anxiety. Helps with anxiety and relaxing your state. I would recommend to anyone who is stressed, needs to unwind, or is suffering from anxiety.

WHERE IS NIGHT MODE??. Look honestly this is a great app but since it’s blinding myself at night I can’t rate it more than 3 stars. Please have a night mode in settings

Amazing but please stop updating. Just wanted to first say how much I love this app - it’s so nice and effective and it always helps me so much when I am feeling stressed or anxious. However, could you please stop updating it and changing the layout of the main page. I feel like it is different every time I go on the app and I never know what to expect. When I downloaded it (mid 2021 I think), it was perfect - simple and minimalistic layout and just a very calming app to be on. But now it feels like the app is trying to be more than what it is originally made for - simple breathing exercises.

Fixed issue with accessing Pro material. The support team responded to emails and solved issue with my Pro account. I love the app, I use it every morning and night and the variety of exercises, guides and science behind it all is great. Thoroughly recommend, happy breathing!

Favourite app. I love this app and upgraded so that I could access all the sessions. However, it seems to have some issues downloading content for the longer sessions. I’ve upgraded my internet and it hasn’t helped so I’m not sure what’s going on there.

Positive start. Looking forward to seeing what intensity you dial it up to. As a Breathwork and pranayama teacher the very brief instructions for Nadi shodana for a novice could be very confusing. I would also recommend you add on an invitation to place hands on belly or ribs for beginners to get more embodied with a simple belly breath - the surprising number of rigid chest breathers or paradoxical breathers in particular could be easily disheartened with the unfamiliarity of simultaneously relaxing their body and activating their diaphragm without something like this. Can we have a dark mode? ( inverse colors) I don’t enjoy the bright screens. Will post further reviews with progress

So simple to use. It’s such a simple, easy app to use. This means I am much more likely to stick with it and use it regularly!

Teaches me both the how and the WHY of breathing. I sleep better. I feel healthier. I am fitter. My running has improved. So many benefits which I’m only just starting to experience. The perfect companion for the book Breath by James Nestor. Life changing!

Incredible.. I haven’t been asked for money which is refreshing. And the app is beautifully designed and functions as you would expect. Really well done.

Excellent tool for stress & anxiety. I’m not one to review apps, but this one deserves it. As someone training to be a psychologist I definitely know the utility of breathing exercises, however it can be hard to self direct this when particularly stressed or anxious. This app is such a simple but useful tool to keep on your phone. The ability to focus on a basic graphic while doing breath work is great! The graphics are calming and easy to follow. And the ability to set reminders is an incredibly useful feature. I will absolutely continue to use this myself and recommend to clients in the future. Amazing work Breathwrk team!!

Exercises still locked after paying for a monthly subscription??. I’ve just purchased your subscription for a month and most of the breathing exercises are still locked. A message appears saying url session failed? The money has been taken out of my bank account so I am not happy!!

Incredible app. This is one of the best apps that has come into my life full stop. The interface is gorgeous, and the way it gamifies breathing is genius!

Aaaahmazing breath work app so far !. Aaahmazing ! It helps me everyday gives me more energy in the morning !

Just one minor suggestion!. I love the simplicity of this app and actually far more relaxing to use than for sheer virtue of simplicity. HOWEVER, the voice recording that kicks in at the end of every exercise - sounds like a man exhaling loudly - is really creepy and jolts you out of this really sleepy state. It’s completely unnecessary - please cut it as it’s really off putting! Otherwise, love it ;)

Fantastic, effective, easy to use. App is easy to navigate, breathing exercises are simple to follow and very effective. Don’t be deceived by the fact this app is currently free! It is worth paying for. I will be purchasing premium features when they come online. Thank you for developing such a great tool for mindful breathing Breathwrk Inc!

Rip Off. Started using this app and had access to everything. Then all of a sudden I have to pay to access 2/3 of its features. What kind of rort is this? There was no mention that there was a timer attached to my access. No mention that it was a trail. I want my full access restored!

THIS IS THE BEST APP EVER!!. This has helped me so much fix sleep schedule and everything! In the morning I would wake up and do this in the evening and at night. I love this app so much! It’s very good for everything and all your sleep needs!!

It’s great and does what it says it should. Would recommend for anyone

Your breathing exercises has improved my health tremendously.. Thank you for letting me do these breathing exercises I not only love it, it has helped me relax, I’m sleeping better at night. Thank you

Simple and easy. Thank you for this wonderful app. I love the visualisations that I can watch to follow the breath work so easy and I love the sound that I can flow if I want to close my eyes and do it. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for this amassing app, it’s truly wonderful, thank you

Amazing. Helps with so many of my anxiety attacks and even just to help me sleep on harder nights

Love this app.. This app is absolutely amazing, it has also already helped my GAD (generalised anxiety disorder) a lot. Thank you! I’m not sure if this is already in the app, but could you make something to build free-diving stamina? I’m currently using this before a psychology appointment, it really helped. Thanks!

Amazing tool!. Really impressed w/ this application. I’ve been using breathwork as a tool for a few years and I can say this is an amazing application. Clear and concise and easy to use... thanks!!

Another breath work?. Overall great app, although I think that there should be a breath work that helps if you feel sick

Only thing missing is Dark mode. This is a great app. It’s helped me so much with anxiety. I love the monkey! There are two ways to improve it though. 1. Allow support for dark mode. 2. Fix some of the UI design in the new habits part. I can’t read all the info on my screen.

AMAZING. i love this app, i like the level up idea and how you can choose you emote for breathing in and out, the only thing i would change/add would be a hold part in the breathing exercise so it would be like, inhale, hold, exhale. 🤩

Calm. Breathwrk really helps me relax and make me fall asleep instantly after using the sleep activity would highly recommend.

The remote control to my nervous system.. Breathwrk is so easy to use and intuitive! The best thing is the exercises work almost instantly. I have recommended the app to so many of my friends!

Awesome for anxiety. I have struggled with anxiety for a while and this app has really helped me. The quarantine has really upped my social anxiety but the breathing techniques used on the app are very helpful.

Won’t cancel my subscription. I signed up to a subscription through their site (not Apple) as they had a special going. I have tried to cancel my subscription using their website instructions and sending an email to them with no response in over 4 weeks. I got charged for another full year despite contacting them 2 weeks in advance. Wouldn’t normally leave a review because of this but they have not returned any of my emails.

100% Recommend if you need to relive stress. I love this app not only because it calms me before I go to sleep, but also it’s helped a lot it’s my breathing problems. So thank you so much Breatwork Inc.

100% worth it!. I suffer from anxiety and I hadn’t had a panic attack in a long time. But alas, I woke up on the brink of one, so I typed “breathing app” into the store and this was the first one that came up so I downloaded it. And I am SO glad I did! The inhale and exhale with the vibration, made me get my breathing under control and I couldn’t describe how relieved I was. If you’re someone that suffers from regular panic attacks, I highly suggest having this on your phone! 10/10!

handy app but notifications don’t work?. Breathing exercises are handy but for some reason I don’t get notifications when its time for an exercise? Notifications are enabled in both app and my phone settings. Too bad, as I feel like having an active reminder to actually take a breathing break is half the battle.

paying. for the stress relief and other stuff i need,i have to pay,im still a child and have no money ,plus it's unnecessary, why pay for something i need on an app that helps with it??

Not a great customer experience. I tried to contact them as described in their communications but no one has gotten back to me

Premium ruined it.. Premium ruined it.

Breathework. It’s a really effective app I would totally recommend it. It helps with sleep, calming down, waking up, etc it’s one of my favourite apps.

Mrs. Hüngry. I ❤️ this app! It has literally saved my life.

App for Apple Watch?. Beautiful app, but why you don’t have the app for the watch too? Could be very useful! Hope it will come sooner or later.

Breathwrk. This has been helping with my anxiety and stress and school. BEST app ever !!

Highly recommend. Great app with tons of free options for breathing exercises.

Can’t open. It seems like a really cool app, but I can’t get it to open. Every time I try it just freezes and then crashes.

Dose this app help with…. Dose this app help with anxiety? Because ive been suffering from anxiety maybe the past month and its not going well.

Amazing app!. Life changing for me, really helps me relax, great job on this app wow!

Not great. Bad ux design , everything costs money now

Too pricey. The app is nice but i just think it’s a shame how you need to pay to 95% of the features. There’s only about 3 free breathing exercices. It would be nice if there were more free features please. I’m just a student trying to get myself together.

This app really works immediately!. Never realized that I was living my life always in a state of high tension - new feelings of calm and peace is extraordinary - my life feels better

So data heavy!. I don’t understand why, but this app (which I used to use on occasion only) was taking up 4 GB of storage. I tried checking the settings for a way to clear my cache or something but no. Just decided to delete because it’s not worth being the single highest storage user of my phone above iOS itself

beware, unscrupulous vender. Latest version is full of critical bugs that make the app unusable Also beware of purchasing subscriptions outside the app store. i am unable to see when the subscription period is and I am unable to prevent this app from charging my card in the future as there is no cancel functionality if you purchase outside the store. I would avoid purchasing this app outside the app store unless you want to chase these venders down to avoid potentially endless charges.

Love the app but.... I love this app and use it everyday but there's been an issue recently where the streak is not updating. My streak stopped at 173 days when I haven't missed a day. It keeps resetting to day 1 when I continue to use it daily.

Disappointing. I tried the 1 week trial and found the app to be quite useful. Tons of different breathing and exercises backed by great science. The app is great. So once the trial was over I decided to continue with the subscription. The payment was processed but now I can’t access the premium exercises. I don’t know if this is a glitch or what but I reached out by email 3 times and never heard back. App is great, customer service could definitely improve. I requested a refund.

Good app. Use it everyday.. The app is good. I really use it every day to get myself in gear. The app has a few issues as far as ease of use, but it’s a small issue once you find the breaths you want to use and can apply with a scheduling system. Give it a try.

Love it, use it everyday.. Awesome!!

Its great!. I love how it says whats your gender and it includes transgender and non binary and all that its so relaxing too! Its all i’ve needed i’m so glad i got the ad its one of the best apps i have!!!!

Pay to Use. The app is impossible to use if you can’t afford to pay for Pro. I downloaded to help with anxiety and pain management and I can’t even open any of the exercises because I can’t afford it.

Excellent- Need Apple Watch Version. Excellent app to learn breathing techniques. Uses vibration very effectively to indicate when to inhale, exhale etc. However an Apple Watch version would be more effective. Also, I would prefer the Inhale, Exhale, Hold durations to be customizable.

Turn vibration off. I can’t the the vibration off during breath exercises. It really distracts me and I can’t relax.

Billing. Can someone please contact me there’s no email address I’ve left two messages it’s about billing and I’m not able to get a hold of anyone there’s no email address here.

Dark mode. Love the app! I’ve got two things I’d love to see added! If there was a dark mode setting (for all user) that would be amazing. The vibrations added to the breath really helps keep on tempo while having your eyes closed but if there was vibrations on the exhale as well that wouldn’t be the worst thing. I also have a problem of my phone screen auto locking half way through a session which interrupts my breathing. Not sure if that’s user error or the app that needs changing though. :) all and all I’m happy I found the app!

Great app. I love this app it’s so calming and helpful. I wish that we didn’t have to pay. Even though that’s how they make money it’s just a lot or annoying. I don’t want to have to pay but it is a great app I just wish some things could be changed or some things could be cheaper

Pretty good. It’s a great app but the premium is a little expensive for an app that tells you how to breathe. Other than that it’s pretty good!

Still locked after I paid. I’ve emailed you guys with no response. I have paid for this and it is still locked. Where do I contact you to resolve this

Amazing app. Downloaded this app for my depression and anxiety and this is game changer makes me so calm and helps me out a lot

Not the best app. I’m 10 and I have this app for my anxiety and stress and when I got up today it told me to GET THE F**K UP!!! in those exact letters and words I do not recommend this app

A winner. Works for me every time Found it through the James Nestor book ‘Breath’.

Paid and no access to content. Paid for the premium content and never got access to it. Sent emails and no one got back to me. Horrible costumer service

Love it - so easy. So easy to follow I really love this app

WONDERFUL. This app is the best app ever, it helps me sleep, wake up, calm down and other. I completely recommend. The only thing is that you need to pay to access some breathing. But it’s fine.

Game changer!!!. Amazing for focus and stress. Use it mainly for sports as well

I love it!. Super easy to use and calms me down a bunch! The only downside I have is that you have to purchase exercises. I have constant nausea and I downloaded this app to help only to find out you need to pay, other than that it’s a great resource!

I can’t afford premium. I really like the app, it helps wake me up and get to sleep, it’s great for someone like me with bad anxiety. But I can’t afford to get premium and it’s disappointing that I need to pay to access other lessons. Other than that, it’s a good app, don’t let this get in your way of using the free version. Love you devs, great app overall

Love this app :). This app is great. I use it for when I’m stressed or mad and it really helps!

Don’t get it. They have a session that is described as 4 seconds in and 6 seconds out. But they then coach you at 4 sec in 4 sec out. It would be a somewhat useful app if it were even accurate. I mean if you can count you don’t need this program.

Love but expensive. Hi just wanted to say thank you for an app that works! It definitely helps me when I have trouble sleeping. The one thing I find is that you have to pay for almost everything which I understand but it can make it difficult to do the challenges. I think it would be an even better experience if the essential class such as the ones for health were free. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Lost access to classes due to premium. This app used to be very helpful, for free I had access to just enough to help me feel better on a daily basis. But because of premium, I no longer have access to some of the help I used to be able to use for free. For example, some classes used to be free and be very helpful, but as of recently they've all become part of the premium package. Saddly I'll have to resort to different help since this app leaves me nothing to work with.

I love this app but LOWER THE PRICE!!!. I would've given this app 5 stars, but just recently they made 'Energize', one of the formerly free exercises exclusive to premium. This has disturbed me, not because it necessarily makes the app completely innacessible just yet, but it displays a sign that it is beginning to head down that path. 'Energize' was one of my most frequently used exercises, so I did consider buying premium, but I saw that it was wayy too overpriced for an app I'd assume most people would use for 5 minutes a day. I really like this app, and I don't want it to get to the point where it is so inaccessible that I have no choice but to uninstall it.

It’s great! Just have one issue... Now, this is the 2nd time I am reviewing this app, just so you know. This app is amazing, and it makes me feel so relaxed. I got it to help go to sleep. Now, you might be asking, if it’s so good, why did you only put it four stars? Well, in my opinion, it’s actually a 4.8 or above. The reason I only put a four, is simple. It’s because when you don’t have premium, you can’t do the majority of the app. This app is great, don’t get me wrong! But, for the sleeping section, which I use the most, right now, there are only 2 exercises for sleep. “Unwind” and “sleep”. Now, yes, those are nice, and they help me get to sleep, but, I feel like you should add a bit more than just 2. This is just my personal opinion, so if you don’t get it, I totally understand. Other than that issue, that’s my only complaint. This app is great for young people, like kids and teenagers. It has helped me get to sleep multiple times! Again, other than that one issue, don’t change a single thing! Thank you for making this app!

idfk. it’s actually good like it helps me calm down wake up and sleep mainly sleep and calm down tho and the classes are actually cool

Not many classes. Been a user for several months, lack of updated classes is disappointing. Ill likely cancel premium soon due to lack of new content, very repetitive.

AMAZING!. Helped me so much. i have breathing problems and it helped me so much. 100/100 reccomend.

App Glitches. Every time I use the app and finish a session it glitches out and I have to restart the app. Otherwise it’s a cool concept with some neat exercises. Too bad I probably won’t use it much more if it keeps up with the issues.

Excellent content, but wld change gamefication. Breathwrk deserves a 5/5 review, and think these changes would do it for me: 1- A more austere, just the exercises experience of the app 2- Goal oriented progressive programs, similar to a training routine at the gym. The main attraction, the breathing techniques are great. I don’t have long Covid, but came to breathing work after hearing about the hope it was giving people with LC. If it was not for the strength of the content, my rating would be 2 out of 5. For me, personally, the gamefying of the app does nothing for me. The badges, the pop-ups at the end of an exercise, the streaks, advertising that John 1000s of KM away is also using the app. . . I find these features cloying and can’t skip them fast enough. I probably don’t use the app as much because these features. Second wish: I would be interest in more progressive goal based programs, similar to what you might find at the gym. For example, a program that is intended to develop x overf 6 weeks. Maybe these programs are there, andI have not found them yet. However, the app seems a bit too self directed. This might sound like I am talking out of both sides of my mouth, but to me, the current approach is disorganized and is based on “rewards” that bug me. The other is more organized, and something I can select b/c ot pertains to a performance goal that is of interest to me.

Denied access to most features after paying. I never leave reviews for apps, but after downloading and paying for the subscription I tried to access the ‘locked’ features and it kept telling me I needed to upgrade after I ALREADY DID. It might be a glitch with the app, but it was honestly a rip off and I only had access to a couple basic features. I emailed the company to see why that was happening and they didn’t get back to me for over a week, and I wasn’t able to get a refund. So my suggestion is don’t pay for this because you won’t actually be able to use it. Unless they fix whatever is wrong with it.

Awesome Mental Health App. I’ve been looking for over a year to find an app like this one. Compared to other popular services such as Calm, headspace and breathable this one is different. It focuses on breath work, which the apps mentioned above barely approach. I just started using this app today and it has been an exhale of relief. The great thing about it is the layout of the app, easy to find exercises and categories for all types of stress. Some of them are even a little challenging. Thanks for creating this app. Wish it were cheaper.

Updates are great!. I love all the new updates! I love that the instructions are at the top of each one and how easy it is to switch between the circle and the line. My only “complaint” is with the timer. It’s an awesome update, since I use the timer on my phone anyway, but it’s a little hard to scroll to the specific time I want. It takes effort to get to the exact time I want that I wish wasn’t there. It’s almost a little too sensitive. Also, I don’t love the dark background with the white text. It’s a little harder to read. Other than that, great job!

No watch support makes it unusable imo. I was excited to use this app, but it's basically unusable. Most times (like at night or during work) opening my phone is a hassle or too overt (if in a meeting) thus I end up skipping the breathes. Eg, as a winddown before sleep, the last thing I want is to open your app with it's white background as it loads... If it could just be on the watch it'd be so much simpler. Plus the notifications are basically useless and vague. They don't remember about the specific breathe I have scheduled, they're just generic platitudes. And while it's cute to read, "are you breathing", I'd much prefer to know what breathe I have scheduled that I need to be doing.

Just what I was looking for. For months I was looking for a simple meditation app with no frills or woo woo bs. I tried them all, (headspace, calm, oak) but found that they were a lot of fluff. I felt pressure to develop a meditation practice but all I really wanted was a way to pause and connect to my breath. Then I discovered Breathwrk and it was almost exactly what I was looking for. I love the short sessions (1-3 minutes) because they let me quickly take a break and get back to what I wanted to do. I’ve been using the app for a few months and it’s become a daily habit (400 breaths and counting). If you’re anything like me I definitely recommend it.

Slow and limited in current form. Conceptually this is a great app. In practice it needs development work. It has to download content each time you do an exercise, even if the exercise is a minute long. It won’t load if it doesn’t have connectivity, so it doesn’t work in natural places you want to use it, like a plane. Also doesn’t give any option to turn off vibration, so using at night in bed is nearly impossible too unless you want to wake up your partner. Lots of easy, practical fixes here that would make it a whole lot better.

Please fix :( — NEVERMIND. EDIT: it is fixed thank you so so so much!! Used to be my favorite app. I would go to sleep playing my mindless games on my phone and do the Sleep breathing. The breathing with the visual stimulation of a random game would help me fall asleep. Since all these new updates, I will start my breathing, go into a new app, the sound will play for one breath (inhale and exhale), and then stop. It only works when I am active in the Breathwrk app, but when I exit, it stops. Please fix this, my breathing and mindfulness used to be so good but now I can’t do it anymore :(

great for adhd, ocd, anxiety, and working!. I have ADHD and anxiety, i was feeling like i had so much energy and couldn’t focus, which made me anxious that I wouldn’t get work done. i was panicking and about to break down - i needed support quick so i grabbed my phone, opened breathwrk and pressed panic button. It gave me a choice from about 1 min, 3 mins, and 6 mins - i chose 3 minutes so it wouldn’t be too long. I tried it and it was surprisingly helpful! :-) Another reason i like this is app is bc you can schedule times to breathe for different days! There are so many different types to pick from, i guarantee you, you’ll find something to help with your situation 💕 Good luck!

really expensive. i love breathwrk. i started using it yesterday afternoon and i can already see a huge difference in my behavior and my appearance! i had dark circles which i thought were genetic (ive had them all my life) but it turns out i wasnt having a good enough sleep. i used breathwrk before bed and the next morning, my dark circles were heavily reduced. i also used it when i had a panic attack this morning and it helped calm me down. i would absolutely LOVE to get premium but im younger and my parents cant afford to spend that money for me. so i love the app, would love to get the subscription, but it’s too expensive. thank you!

Sometimes Hard to Follow - Needs visual cues. I generally like the app and particularly like doing the longer exercises however the instructors are often hard to follow and/or don't stay in time with their own exercise. It would be super helpful to have a visual cue as I've seen on some other breathwork apps. It would also be helpful for the instructors when going form one pattern to the next to describe the pattern timing...however they tend to just go into it and leave you to figure it out. The 10m endurance session from Bryan thst I just did is a good example. It was an otherwise good session but could be improved with the above suggestions. ✌️

Very useful app, I like it so far!. I like that even though I may not be ready to purchase the yearly subscription, there is still a lot of programs and exercises available to me. This app is actually useful as a free app. There are too many similar apps that have the majority of what they offer locked and completely unusable; unless you want to pay for a subscription without knowing if the app is helpful to you or if it will be a waste of money! With this Breathwrk app I can really get to know the app and find out if I can benefit from their programs before committing to the subscription fee.

really helps me with my panic and anxiety attacks. this app is great. i was in the middle of a panic attack and none of my relievers were working so I looked up some breathing techniques. i download the app and used the calm feature and it made me feel so much better. i do wish they had some more options and topics than the four , but overall i am really enjoying the app. we’re in a pandemic, it’s okay to feel things. i always thought i was weird having issues but it’s normal. this app really is a great tool 🤍

I love this app. This app is extremely simple. It is easy to start breathing when you open the app by just clicking on whether your want to feel calm, sleepy, awake, or recharged. This leads you to a simple graphic to watch while you inhale and exhale with an accompanying harmonica sound and vibrations. This makes it easy to close your eyes but still keep with the breaths. I love the simplicity and accessibility. I definitely feel more grounded after using this for the last couple of months.

My journey. I have always struggled with mental health. I used to have mental breakdowns, I didn't know what to do it just kept getting worse and worse. Then I downloaded this app to see if it would help as a last resort. It has really helped me. Whenever I feel like I'm gonna have a mental breakdown I just open the app and it helps me get through it by controlling my breathing as a distraction. My friends and family have even commented on how much less anxious I have been. I recommend using it if you have bad panic attacks.

Great Tool for Improving Quality of Breath!. I have built up a terrible habit of taking shallow breaths due to anxiety. This app is the most simplistic and helpful tool to help me retrain my breathing. I love the variety of breathing techniques that are offered and the accompanying visuals + audio help keep me focused during my sessions. It’s also motivating to see my progress stats grow everyday. After using this app for a week I’ve been noticing an increase in awareness of my breath and have been able to better correct my shallow breathing when I notice it.

Gets the job done!. I’ve been using this app for a while now. It’s great for nights your struggling with sleep or moments that anxiety may get the best of you. I’ve recommended to a couple friends and they seem to enjoy it as well! There aren’t ad walls but a lot of the unique breaths are only for premium users, which can get annoying. There are plenty breaths for those like me, that don’t deem it useful enough to pay for premium. Very personalized, with useful questions about your lung capacity and such. It helps if you know your limits too.

Suggestions and TikTok advertising. Suggestions for breathing classes with random peoples faces, as well as exercises I don’t want to add to my routine, and advertisements for TikTok are not what I paid for. They really devalue the calm feeling I used to get when going into the app. Please fix this Breathwrk developers. Edit - I want to add that over all I do love the app. I would definitely recommend it, and have! My issue is with the app feeling like a social media site with updates that include suggestions, (a tik tok banner), and breathing exercises with peoples faces on them. People tire me… Breathwrk has a lot of potential to be the calming, refreshing, yet energizing app experience that matches their exercises.

Update: Visual “blips” are gone!. Fixed the issue! So happy! —— There’s a weird “blip” on the progress bar for the breathing exercises. The little ball glides smoothly over the track for most of each cycle during a session, but then there’s a little visual hiccup that constantly reappears. It’s like it skips forward and then back. I know I’m being nit-picky, but for a paid app, it’s that kind of UX stuff that gets in the way of what really could be a perfect app. Other than that, I do appreciate the overall design, experience, and variety of exercises.

Magic. I was about to get on anxiety meds due to when my brother recommended this, so I decided I’d try it first. I never needed to get on the meds because it made such a significant difference in my anxiety. I also believe anecdotally it helped me manage my blood pressure while pregnant because in my first pregnancy my BP was always something we were a little concerned about, and it had started to creep up again during my second pregnancy until I started Breathwrk at which point it was always immaculate. This is based on doing the Calm exercise twice a day for 6 minutes each time.

Stuck on certain pages. Okay so this is an amazing app and I love that includes the science behind everything. I downloaded it because I have anxiety and I am a very anxious person. The breathing truly does help and all my only issue is that; every time I get a notification it takes me to the app and I do the exercise but after I am done i cant get out of the “start exercise” page. I can’t go to the home screen or to set a new reminder. I even do the exercise two times and I i’m still stuck on the start page. I would love to use the entire app and not just one screen :(

really love it. This app is very good. I go to it every time I feel anxious and it helps a lot with the breathing techniques and recommended to put the notifications I don’t with most apps but do it even when you don’t feel nervous to prevent feeling nervous throughout the day. This doesn’t have anything to do with the app but this could help also with anxiety try bath and body works sleep or stress Collection. I have the lotion it’s amazing also the body wash before bed is so relaxing the pillow spray helps fall asleep fast .

Best thing I’ve discovered. I don’t know how I came across this app but I’m so glad I did. I’ve been struggling with anxiety for a while now and the breathing exercises In this app definitely helps me calm down especially if I feel like I’m going to get a panic attack. I really recommend this app to anyone who feels like they just need a break to calm down and take a breath. Life can be so hard and stressful and overwhelming that it takes a toll on your mind and body. Doing these exercises has definitely made me feel better. 100% recommend. Thanks for those who created this app. Don’t know what I’d do without it.

Amazing🤩. Whenever I need to be calmed I use the calming but I just wish that you didn’t have to buy anything like to upgrade for the deep relaxation although you do have to buy some things I like it because whenever I have a hard time sleeping I just use the sleeping one and I go to bed earlier usually I would go to sleep later and stay in bed in the morning but now I wake up earlier and go to bed earlier. This app deserves a five star review⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

BreathWrk. Hello, i’ve seen many reviews about BreathWrk and i’ve been wanting to download it myself to see what it’s all about. I really like it so far, but it seems to me that it’s way more expensive then I thought it would be. I felt like this would benefit me for my everyday life and change the way I feel about myself. I could never afford it if i would use this everyday. I would recommend getting BreakWrk if you are interested in a GOOD loyalty breathing app. Thank you for making an app like this for the people who desperately need it.

Wonderful but…. This app is so wonderful! It has definitely improved my sleep and ability to calm down in stressful situations. But…the reminder notification sounds like a man exhaling. It gave me a jolt the first couple of times because I thought, for a split second, that there was a man in my house and I was about to be murdered. This morning it scared me again while I was reading in bed, so I came here to write this! Probably not the best noise for stressed out, jittery, anxious people. I turned the sound notifications off for now.

I cannot recommend this app enough. I started using this app to sleep at night as a method to wind down. I didn’t think it would be that effective. I normally do the 5 minute breathing before bed and I can never finish the session because I end up falling asleep before. It’s even as effective on the days that I am not sleepy or I am feeling very anxious. I really cannot recommend this app enough. It only takes 5 minutes to get the benefits. I have the free version and I can definitely tell you that you won’t regret it.

This app is special ☺️. This app is so amazing!☺️ I’m only a middle schooler but lately I have been stressed.😔 With this app, I just go to an empty room, and turn on the app! The music is so calming in the “Calm” One, lol.😅 My advise is to close your eyes and focus on breathing! 😮‍💨 You should also look into Lavender things because that helps stress too, as well as taking cold showers! 😄 Love this app it’s helped me so much!!! ☺️ I even got premium for a year free- and it’s so amazing! Premium allows you to do so much more- and- I just have no words for it- 😅 it’s so amazing!

Close but not great. It’s a very good app but since I pay for the app I should be able to use all of it but there are so many different breathing exercises it would be great to set my favorites as habits on setting habits doesn’t work. I reached out to the developer but no one at breathwk has responded. So a faulty app and terrible customer support. Then they contact you saying they responded via email and I should check my spam. If their mail is going to my spam they need to check their email service! FYI, no email in spam and issue still persists. Thanks anyway. I’ll find a better app. As long as I’m paying for the app, I better find one that works.

This app has saved me!. This app has been a complete lifesaver for me in so many instances. It has saved me from countless panic attacks, given me energy, taken me out of depressive episodes, and much more. After 28 years of life, I finally know how to breathe properly thanks to this app. I never knew how influential breathing could be. I love how they incorporate the science behind the breaths, holds, and sighs. I’ve learned so many new things that have impacted my health tremendously. I can’t thank the developers enough. Please never stop creating new breaths and courses! I look forward to trying new ones every day :)

What happened??. I loved this app for the first few days. I would do the Sleep breathing pattern and it would put me to sleep. I liked putting it on for 5 minutes and then just listening to the inhale and exhale tones and following along without watching the screen and by the end of 5 minutes I would be drifting off. Suddenly on day 4 the app started making a binging noise and an exhale sound every minute that I’m on the app. So it bings 5 times during my sleep routine, waking me sharply out of my peaceful drifting off to sleep. Or I can turn the sound off and watch the screen which is not as effective for getting sleepy. Very annoying. Can this be fixed I hope?

Seems great but lacks basic features. I have been liking the exercises and I think they will really improve my life. I like that you can add exercises to a weekly schedule, but why in the world is there no way to actually view that schedule? I can only ever see what is planned for today. I cannot edit schedules for other days once exercises are set. This makes it impossible to set up a weekly schedule… the only way to do it is to set it up for the day on each day. My days vary greatly due to my work schedule so being able to view and edit a weekly schedule is paramount for my usage of this app. If this schedule viewer gets added, I would give this 5 stars and purchase it. But as is, it’s a PITA to use.

Superb application!. Thank you to Breathwrk and all its developers! My kids and I enjoy many meditation applications however yours is so unique and extremely helpful for regulating the the central nervous system. I absolutely love the ability to choose different pranayama methods based on what your body is needing. As well as the simplicity of the application, calming music, and vibration, and reminders throughout the day. Thank you for bringing deep breathing to the masses in a beautiful application with such ease of use! The little monkey is super cute too!

Leader Board?. Maybe I’m reading it wrong but the leader board never changes. I went for three or four weeks where I was breathing with the app for over 70 minutes a day, 7 days a week and I never got on the weekly or monthly board. That said I love this app. I love being able to spend self care time daily. The visuals are terrific. Knowing when I am to nose breathe or mouth breathe helps me breathe better. Thank you for this. Still curious about the leader boards though.

Update made things harder for me. At first I thought the update would just add new features which was fine, I just liked the breathing exercises, but they also took away the longer breathing exercises and now only have the short ones which I don’t find very helpful to have to just start them over again and again so I can do a longer exercise. Especially when i’m doing the sleep one! I think the update is cool, and I understand they need money from somewhere but I’m disappointed how things within the app are now.

Great but needs a watch app. I love this app! The exercises are much more approachable than meditation and have been very helpful. A few critiques - 1. I would really really love a watch app. With other apps, I can have them vibrating on my wrist, helping me breathe during a meeting or in public. 2. I would like to see content added more regularly. Some of the exercises are also the exact same. I think there are a couple of sleep exercises that are the same thing under two different names. But by and large, I really like the app and will continue to subscribe!

Amazing app. I just downloaded this app after a long, stressful day. I read an article about how breathing exercises help with stress and sleeping problems. This app works wonders as I’m sure any other breath exercise apps would, however this app is not only cute/aesthetically pleasing it is very well organized and helpful. I love this app. 10/10 recommend using this after a stressful day or situation or before you go to bed and after you wake up. It truly did help me.😁

Ruined the app for existing users. This app was actually great. It’s simple and convenient. The balance breath is a powerful meditation. My issue is that with an unassuming update they have now taken away most of the functionality and put it behind a paywall. This is pretty messed up, I’m fine paying for features but add features to pay for, don’t take them away and require payment for what you are used too like your the mafia. Worst of all, this app is not at all worth $6 a month. I can simply make a recording of a sound that loops over for 5 minutes and get the same exact value - just with less convenience. This app is mostly a mp3 that anyone could make if they took the time. It’s a shame. I was recommending this app to everyone and now I’m going to uninstall.

Perfect app for stress relief. I have been playing basketball for a while now and every time that any sort of trouts would come up I would get stressed and anxious about how I will play and if I will make the team. It got to the point where my anxiety for games and tryouts was starting to hinder my playing. I began to try and work it won’t myself with consuming more water and taking Drexel breaths before the game but nothing would work well enough. Then I found this app and the exercises that it gives you have calmed me right down and is a great help before games.

Money Hungry App. Okay, this app was great with great breathing exercises, fun courses and it was very calming, and very fun to create a profile and chose a photo, but, I was doing a challenge and I was on the last day to complete the challenge but as I try to complete the last day it says I have to pay for the “upgrade” to finish the lesson! So I had to lose all my progress and was not able to try again without paying money. This app would be GREAT if I didn’t have to pay for so much. But it is still beneficial, I am just disappointed because I had to work hard to get to that point. Thank you for reading all the way through. Have a nice day :).

Wonderful Help. Deep breathing is something I’ve been recommended to do for years to help with insomnia. But I’ve been reluctant due to my skepticism in it benefits as well as how difficult it feels when I do it. When my insomnia reached new heights of awful, I decided to try it but thought that there must be an app to help me. So as I have been very prayerful about it this time around, God led me to this app. It really made it so much easier with its guidance. I’m going to stick with it this time and use this app. Praise The Lord for this app!

It is a good app for a breath workout. This app is surprisingly a very good app. It helps me calm down and go to sleep. The notifications are loud though. One time it scared me so bad like I was just watching my phone and then it just came. (Well this only happens if you put your notifications on). But overall I have no problem with this app. That’s the reason I give it a 3. I know your probably thinking why’d you put 3 stars over one little problem. Well, I’m a very very weird person (in a good way) I am picky, I don’t know I’m kind of like my mom. Anyway, I just think it gets 3 stars. So yeah, this app is good for 3 stars! Proud of this app! It’s very good for stressing out people! (Remember to spread kindness and follow God’s word).

Latest version still super buggy. I love this app and would normally give it a 5-star review. However, the current version is super buggy! The latest update actually feels like it made the bugs worse, not better. Sometimes breaths pause in the middle for no reason at all. Other times when I want to do 3 sets of a breath it stops after 2 sets and thinks I’m done. Also, sometimes when I change the length or number of sets in a breath, that makes the sound guidance to mute!! PLEASE FIX THESE BUGS. I definitely rely on Breathwrk for helping me manage anxiety and boost my mental health. Once the bugs are fixed, I will change my review to 5 Stars. Right now it’s just super frustrating.

Well done!. This app is amazing, and perfect for any breathing exercises. I found this app off of tiktok and omg it works so well!! This is a very short review, but everything is very well researched and spot on! One thing though, you guys should add a night mode, so it always isn't so bright! The light and dark mode settings can also be compatible with your phones! A certain setting to change that in the settings menu on the app. But overall, this app is amazing and I told agree on getting it!

Buggy update. I love this app for breathing through anxiety. 41 weeks pregnant and using it every day now to prepare for labor. Also recommended it to my father in law after a heart attack and it was very helpful to him getting sleep in the hospital and became part of his routine which is awesome. Unfortunately the new update today is causing buggy issues - it suddenly is freezing after each breath, lots of pop up notifications that would be helpful if not during the active timed breath work. Hoping these are smoothed out soon!

Times are too short. Great app. I do really like it and it works well. I have one complaint that, if fixed, would make this 5-stars. The lengths are too short, even on paid. The exercises have a recommended length but you often can’t do the recommended length without starting again. For instance, “Awake” recommends 3-minutes+. However, your options for Awake are 40-seconds, 1:20, or 2-minutes... You can’t even go for the recommended time without finishing and starting again. Kinda hurts the experience for me. I just wish they had longer versions of all the exercises in general... But at the very least, make the recommended time one of the time options...

Just cause an app is free does not mean it’s free. I downloaded this app over four years ago, and I loved every part of it. I would always use it constantly throughout the day. These days every time I go on the app it seems more and more of the breathing patterns join the premium subscription based plan. Very sad. It’s kinda crazy how you can charge someone for teaching them basic breathing skills that we should have had in or own education system. If it wasn’t so expensive I would buy the lifetime, but $200 is just a lot these days. And it’s not like these times are worse than the Great Depression *wink *wink

Breathwrk is awesome. I love breathwrk because it relaxes me it makes me fall asleep and it makes me have a good day. I use this app every day because it makes me relieve my stress and not worrying about anything. If you do not have breathwrk I say you should get it. I told my friends about it and they loved it. You haven’t got into any fights and any stress. My family has this up to and they like it my dad gets mad easily so I told him this app and he got way much more better. I absolutely love breathwrk.

So much potential…. I love the breathing expertises available in this app. I do them daily and the daily streak keeps me motivated. That is why I am BEYOND frustrated that my current streak has been reset due to a glitch in the app THREE times since using it and the support not only does not fix my current streak, they don’t even respond! I considered purchasing the paid version, but will not due to this repeated glitch of resetting the streak and also because customer service/support is so unresponsive. This review should be a 5 star based on the potential of this app, but it is a 2 star due to glitches and poor, unresponsive support.

Really lovely app!. I love all the different types of breathing exercises available, and there is a wide variety. It is also extremely customizable. You can choose the duration of the breath, and different graphics to watch as you breath, however they’ve made it easy with small vibrations and timed relaxing tones if you wish to close your eyes during. I also appreciate the tabs on each breath that go into detail about biologically what the breath is doing, stimulating the sympathetic or parasympathetic nervous systems, and tips to maximize the outcome. It has brought me a lot of peace!

Great app. As someone who has panic attacks a lot and get stressed out very easy this app has saved my life. Now I’m not saying that it will overall stop your panic attacks right at the start but it helps calm you down. I didn’t pay for the full thing but you still get a lot with just the free thing. There’s a amazing schedule that fits certain breathes with your time and place now if your a very busy person Erwin you may not have the time to sit down and start breathing but I highly recommend at least doing one exercise before bed and when you wake up. Highly recommend
