Just about everything you could need. This app is everything I’ve ever wanted in a workout app. I first started working out a decade ago, and I remember searching the internet for a weekly plan and switching between a phone notepad, the exercise list, and a timer constantly. I’d regularly forget how many sets I had done, making my approach not very efficient. I was never really sure what weight I needed, how much time I needed to rest, and all of the other nitty gritty details. This app consolidates all of the above into one cohesive, well-designed UI that has truly streamlined my workout process. In a nutshell, working out has become more about lifting weights than the other “administrative” aspects. The only negative for me is the initial on boarding is really aggressive, especially for folks who haven’t worked out in a long time. I figure the algorithm will eventually realize I’m much weaker than it believes and will accommodate properly. I think that could take several weeks, however.

Excellent app. I used JEFIT for over 10 yrs. While it is a great app to track and for community. I am happy to have found FitnessAI. I’m excited by the demonstrating model that shows what muscles are being worked. The fact that, while my target muscle group for each day is the same, the app changes out an exercise randomly. I love it! Big plus for being able to enter what equipment I have, in my home gym. I really look forward to working out because I just enter my stats and settings and it does the rest. One other thing, thanks guys for the daily positive accountability during the weeks I was not working out. It wasn’t annoying, it was needed. 👍🏼 I recommend checking this app out. After looking it over and evaluating it, I signed up. Totally missed the 7 day trial. Didn’t matter though, once I started, I knew I made the right decision.

Workouts made easy!. I downloaded this app because I was new to the whole weight-lifting thing. This app has been such a necessity for my workouts. I’ve learned so much from the app about differnt exercises, proper form, and which exercises work which muscle groups. I recently lost about 70lbs on keto and cycling, and needed to begin weight training to build a nice physique. The workouts are tough, and challenge me everyday I get into the gym. I’m already seeing results, and couldn’t be happier with my progress, and where I’m going. If I was to recommend anything to the developers, it’s incorporate leg day more often(I’m on the whole body training program). Otherwise, with the app, so far I’ve lost about 15lbs weight training with the app, and diet ofc. Still got more to go, but I know if I stay committed to the program I’m going to be ripped in no time. Summer body is loadingggg>>> 😎 Also, as of 2021, I’ve added a cardio component on top my my strength training from the app, sure I’ll see more rapid fat loss in the next weeks. Definitely get this app if you are looking to have your own trainer without the expensive cost of one.

Just okay. I appreciate the concept and UI but this app is for beginners. For one, the exercise library is very limited, a lot of simple exercises aren’t a part of the program ( how does it not have incline barbell press??). I personally don’t think that incrementally increasing the weight on a limited number of weekly exercises is enough in the long term, your muscles need variety! The most frustrating thing about this app besides its limited exercises is the rep range limits it places on workouts. Say for instance the AI says you should do 8 reps at a certain weight but you’re able to push out 10—you’re not able to log anything past 8, so the AI doesn’t register that and won’t adjust the weight properly, instead you have to find a heavier weight until you fail at 8, that’s kind of stupid don’t you think? I also wish it sent you weekly recaps of your progress like the Bodybuilding app because that’s very motivating and the app already has all this data so why not do something useful with it? Hope the developers read this because I like this app and want it to improve!

Great app. As a cyclist, and busy medical professional, I was looking for a way to keep my limited free time for strength training as efficient as possible, and not have to carry around a notepad to record my weights and reps. This app does it all for you. I can do a routine in 40-50 minutes that used to take me 90. It tracks your progress and helps you safely increase intensity at a steady rate. The progress report you get with each workout is motivational because it shows you how you are progressing and keeps you coming back to the gym to improve. And everything I customizable, including your work-outs, rest times, reps, weights, sets, frequency, whether you are looking for strength training, increased muscle mass, or just fat burning and weight loss, this app seems infinitely tailorable to your needs. I’ve had two back surgeries and long term neuropathic disabilities as a result of the preceding spinal trauma, but this app makes it easy to eliminate any workout that my neurosurgeon doesn’t want me doing. In six weeks, I’ve gained 6 pounds in muscle and had a noticeable improvement in my climbing speeds on my bike. My strength has definitely improved throughout my body and my wife tells me daily that there’s been a noticeable improvement in my muscle tone and mass. Can’t wait to see what differences she notices in another 6 weeks!

Brilliant. A really great app. The fee for an annual subscription is well worth it. I am tired of fitness apps that claim to be free, but then require endless small payments over time. I appreciate the fact that this app has an outright charge for the full thing, and it does not lie about what it allows or provides with the subscription. I find the hardest part of working out to be picking the right exercises and changing weights /reps over time. This app is great because not only does it provide you with a workout any day that you would like it, but it allows you to customize your access to equipment, your style, and your goals without much trouble at all. When I am on vacation and still want a workout, I can just change the equipment to nothing, and it will recalibrate everything to purely calisthenics. I don’t ever really take the time to review apps, but this one has helped me so much that I genuinely felt inclined to support it. Good stuff!

Overall a solid app but needs a few additions. I’ve been using this app for almost a month now and for the most part I’m happy with it. I like not having to plan specific exercises and the rep count. The app takes care of that and gradually increases the difficulty of those workouts. I do think that the app needs a few things to keep up with the competition. First and most importantly you need to be able to substitute exercises during a workout. On leg day I wasn’t able to do 3 of the exercises it prescribed because my gym didn’t have those leg machines. The app should have a database of exercises (organized by muscle group) that can be subbed in. Second it would be great to have an optional rest timer that would be triggered when you complete a set. With these changes I would be willing to give the app 5 stars as its algorithm is better than any of the other workout apps I’ve tried.

Amazing App. I’ve been using this app now for a couple weeks and I LOVE it. I am a beginner in the gym and this app makes everything so easy. Once you put in your age, weight, height, fitness goals, and equipment available to you, the app does the rest of the work. It creates a personalized workout routine for each day based on the information you’ve put into the app. For someone who was always afraid to look dumb at the gym, the app always provides a visual of how to use the machinery or equipment which makes it super easy to follow along. Along with this, the app tracks your number of sets, reps, and weight level for each exercise and gradually increases this each week based on if you were able to complete the weight and sets from the prior week. I no longer need to think ahead and plan my workouts, the app does it all for me. If there are any workouts I do not like or the equipment is unavailable, you can simply switch out the workout for a comparable one to target the same area. I’m amazed by this app. It seriously is a virtual personal trainer. Five stars!!

Finally, I found it.. I’ve tried a number of the more popular workout apps, most have 80% of what I want in, but this one has 100%. Highlights of the app: - Easy to track reps and sets with scroll wheel. - Automatically adjusts based on how you’re working out. - Built in timer between sets (surprising how many apps DON’T have this). Even makes a sound when to begin the next set, so you can get ready under the weight and wait for the sound. - Show you even HOW to setup the barbell with plates, so you don’t have to sit there trying to count how much total weight you’re performing. - The overall feel of the app is very aesthetically pleasing. I didn’t think this would be something I cared about, but I now realize it is. Amazing app, thank you FitnessAI team for putting it together!

An excellent app!. This app has gotten me out of the Covid slump and gotten be back on track. I’ve seen great results in the 2 months (3 workouts a week) that I’ve been using it. Weight loss, muscle building, structure all improving. Now for the app. It’s excellent at keeping you organized. It helps you target areas each workout so you aren’t overlapping muscle groups. It lets you edit workouts based on equipment available and also provides alternatives. Hundreds of exercises to choose from. Set your weight and reps! Watch the model perform the move so you can see the mechanics of the body. Never feel like you dont know what you’re doing again. I always start with my 15min walk/ jog and review the days workout. I can move the exercises so that each muscle group gets a break between sets or exercises. It’s fantastic. My only complaint is in the UI once your workout has started. Sometimes I run out of time at the gym before my exercises are all complete. So I’ll try to edit out the last one but I always seem to “discard” the entire workout I’ve done for the day instead of just that one exercise. This needs to be addressed.

Learning as I grow💪🏼. Overall really great & informative! I have learned so much about weight lifting and now don't feel the need to bother other people to teach me the proper techniques😊 There's some bugs I would find here and there which made some workouts confusing...(i.e. starting weight for benchpress was 10 lbs🤷🏻‍♀️) But nevertheless nobody's perfect! Andrew and Jake are super quick to respond and really care about their users! So their customer service is pretty TOP NOTCH👌🏼 They respond within 12 hours (during business days; usually within the 3-4 hours after I send/provide my "feedback") Can't wait to not only feel (been at it for only 3 days and my body is screaming at me🥵) but SEE my results!💪🏼 Once that happens, y'all may have another annual subscriber😏 Thanks FitnessAI for making me not look like a complete noob at the gym😝

Game Changer. I was a bit skeptical about this app at first given how simple it is, but after giving it a try for the week trial, I was hooked. I love how it shows you the muscle groups you’re working and what the form should look like without any soundtrack, pep talks, or ads. Very straight forward, easy to follow and easy to customize. If there’s a move you can’t figure out or don't want to do, the app gives you 3-10 other options that work the same group of muscles. Or you can just remove it. Only thing I wish it had was the ability to create a circuit instead of having to do all the sets at once before moving on to the next move (maybe that’s intentional, or maybe there’s a way to customize that that I haven’t found yet). Either way, great app if you’re looking for something that guides you and builds with you over time without a lot of chatter.

AMAZING for men and women alike. This is the perfect strength training app for anyone from well-versed weightlifters to newbies worried about venturing into the weights section at the gym. As a young woman, getting into strength training can be intimidating, which is why I love that FitnessAI shows you exactly how much of each exercise to do, and how to do them properly. This way you don’t have to worry about your routine and can focus on your actual workout. It may sound crazy, but this AI is probably exactly what my routine needed, as someone who has been working out consistently but hit a plateau. The routine pushes you just enough so you’re always being challenged and getting stronger, but not beyond what it knows you’re capable of. It’s been about a month and I feel great already. I’m the strongest I’ve ever been and the fun and easy-to-use interface leaves me itching to go back to the gym as soon as I finish my workout. I’ve already told all my friends about the app and will continue to do so. Thanks, FitnessAI!

Great app for all stages of the gym. I never write reviews but after today I had to. I got this app to give me an idea of proper form of how to do a certain work out. It gives you an AI example of how to move on each workout. Gives you automatic routines for leg day ect and you can adjust them to add more exercises or lessen it. The reason I got on this page to write a review was because like all apps, they bombard your emails with reminders and what not. I thought they were all bots and automatic replies. I got broken up with after a 10 year relationship with this girl and wanted to laugh since I haven’t been on the app or gym the last two weeks and the email reminder came in not to give up. I replied saying it’s hard to get out of bed and I’ll be back soon. Domenic (head coach at fitness AI) replied back saying “ Hey Chris! That sounds really challenging, breakups can be a difficult time. Take your time and do what's best for you 💪” They didn’t have to respond but the fact that the emails aren’t necessarily bots made me like this app even more. Highly recommend this app to everyone from new to returning gym members. Even has options for at home workouts. Happy grindin n gaining gym buffs 💪💪

Solid app.. Normally I would have given this a 4 star rating. Because they still have room and features to grow. But this app breaks down different workouts great! As a beginner has helped me out a ton! The more the guys are rolling out the better. Now where this gets the extra star to make it a 5 star app. Is the coaching and customer service! If you needed someone extra to nag that you’ve taken off so many days they do message you! But what I love about the reminder message is they offer help with workout plans, they really cater to you. These guys really cater to you. I haven’t asked for much. But they have gone above and beyond and that’s the wow factor hear that I haven’t received anywhere else! Great team! Love the app. Love seeing what I’m focusing on. And love it shows me on the calendar what days I go. Can’t wait to see how they continue to add on.

Love it, but I got a note.. The app is amazing! I love that it’s very informative, and works with my Apple Watch ( my watch actually tracks the workout from Fitness AI as a workout). I do , however, have a suggestion. Sometimes, I like to choose what exercises to do and I want to be able to preview those before adding it to the plan. Currently, for me to view the movement of the specific exercise, I have to add it to the plan or start a workout. ALSO- some bugs still do exist. Whenever I put my phone to sleep, the app disappears - I always need to open it again and again. And on my Apple Watch it sometimes forgets to measure my HR, or I can’t log a set on my watch. Other than that, the app is amazing! PS. I really really wish you added a nutrition plan section - what to eat and what not to eat based on a goal. For example, I want to burn fat while maintaining my weight and I want to have that info within an app that already knows my strengths and can suggest proper foods or receipts.

Amazing app.! HELPED ALOT!!!. So I got this app because I have goals that I want to achieve but wasn’t sure how to. I was doing some basic workouts that I thought was good but wasn’t seeing much of a difference. So my fist week I took this app and started in the gym. At fist I was like I can’t do this but then I adjusted weights and was good to go. What I love about this is that I can choose how long of a workout I have time for. And I don’t look clueless standing in the gym wondering what to do next or feeling like a didn’t workout long enough. This is amazing for beginners and regulars. The way it mixes things up so you are working your muscles out in different ways and preventing muscle memory is amazing. I am excited to see results with this. I can already feel the difference in my confidence and form with this app. Thank you!!!

I LOVE this app.. The idea of this app was incredibly tempting to me. It’s simple to use and lays everything out in front of you. The app allows you to focus on the task at hand while you're at the gym. I noticed my strength increasing and my workouts are much quicker. I initially had an issue with changing my membership and realized I was unable to. I raised this concern in a former review. I was surprised to see the CEO of the app had reached out to me within the same day, emailed me and resolved the issue. It’s refreshing to see this kind of initiative from a developer and I am excited to be using this app for the next several years to come! I’m already noticing a huge increase in my workout productivity and strength. Coming from a typical skeptic when it comes to health/fitness apps, give this app a shot!

Great app - one major improvement considerations. Overall fantastic app that is easy, simple, effective, and priced right…HOWEVER, I’d like to point out some flaws. First and foremost, the app consistently crashes when I’m trying to select an alternative exercise, not sure if this has only been affecting me (I didn’t read much into other reviews) but it’s frustrating. Furthermore, I constantly workout in different locations (one location only has smith machines) and it’s frustrating to scroll through all the exercises to find a smith machine replacement of a barbell exercise (for example)…a search function for replacement exercises would be a massive upgrade and I’m no developer but I feel this could be a relatively simple and effective update. Overall, I highly recommend the app and I’m just nit picking but to me this feature would be key and would continue my commitment to this workout app among the sea of them out there. I’m in my mid 20’s and focusing on my career, it’s nice to have an app guide me through my workouts and save me valuable time in my day to day life.

Good! But some things to work on.. I love this app! But some of the problems on my part that I need to work on is learning how the algorithm works. They way I do my work out is, for example. I’m doing bench press, the way I do it is I do 4 sets in total with reps of 10,8,6,4. The AI gets confused when I put in different weights for different sets. So if I’m doing a set of 10 reps, I would start off with 155. And then go on to 185 for a set of 8 reps and then 205 for a set of 6 reps and then finally a set of 225 of 4 reps. Now the algorithm thinks that I should be doing a set of 4 with 7 reps in total and starting out at 205. I’ll be honest😂 there is no way I can do that. It’s probably my fault. That this is happening. But it’s kinda frustrating. But this app has so much potential, thanks to the people who work hard on this app. Especially the coders. Hopefully you are getting a workout in too.

Solid app that simplifies progressive overload and programming. As a former personal trainer, I appreciate the simplicity of the app. I am in a totally different career now with multiple time commitments and it’s no longer a priority for me to create extremely detailed plans. With this app, I have the aforementioned in the palm of my hands. I would give the app 5* if it had the following features: 1 - consolidated workout stats and charts (eg see weight lifted by muscle group overtime for a view of volume, or theoretical 1rm overtime for squat) - i understand there’s AI involved, but I don’t think that means we shouldn’t be able to see key metrics like volume / 1RM overtime 2 - ability to click into exercises WHILE NOT CURRENTLY IN WORKOUT to see key stats (1rm, volume, etc) 3 - ability to browse exercises in database and add custom exercises 4 - ability to add warm up sets / warm up routine. Obviously warm up sets add volume (hence impact recovery / muscle building) but the app doesn’t take into account or let you add warm up sets. 5 - timer buttons - sometimes the timer restarts or if you click a set accidentally it restarts the timer. Would like this to be fixed / buttons added for +/- 10 secs or something to tweak the rest 6 - visual heat map display of volume to muscle or % of 1rm to muscle group over the last X training days (eg a human muscle statue with muscle groups colored based on above)

Update. Started out great but after several months and even becoming a beta tester and sending numerous requests, this app is just OK. The exercises are good but when asked to add any exercises at all, something as simple as dumbbell kickbacks, I got “no promises” response. Also, the lack of the ability to add notes to the exercises is a huge thumbs down. Often times certain machines are not available and we make do with what we have and the resistance or weights can be completely different- notes would solve that in my opinion. Requests to add a notes section were met again with “no promises”. I want to love the app and gladly handed over my money, but I have to move on to FitBod as they have a significantly larger exercise database and the ability to add notes to exercises. If FItnessAI fixes these issues, I’d come back. For now I have to say bye.

This is the most adaptive fitness app on the market. Home fitness is important to me, but it can be expensive, so I don’t have EVERY weight or machine available. Over the past six years, I have tried nearly a dozen workout applications, and every one of them has a cookie-cutter program with cookie-cutter equipment, most of which I don’t own. FitnessAI is by far the best fitness application I’ve used. It’s completely customizable, from the equipment I have available to the duration of my workouts. This app has allowed me to get over this plateau by pushing me and showing me the exercises I need with my equipment. My home gym isn’t tiny by any means, but it isn’t a professional gym; Fitness AI caters to my goals with the equipment I have available and adapts to challenge me on my fitness journey.

Good workouts!. I’m using the app for “Calorie Burning”, because I want to build lean muscle while, more importantly, burning my beer drinking fat. I really like this app! I don’t have to do research to figure out what exercises I’m going to do which is great, because I’ve done exercises that I wouldn’t have done otherwise which ended up being great moves! I really like the fact that you can edit the workouts to fit your needs. I have a minor injury, and some moves are really painful right now. No problem! I can simply click “edit” and the app gives you 7-10 replacement options that work the same muscle group. I love that the exercises change, so my chest/triceps/ab workout is different every time which helps to avoid the monotony of working out and avoiding a platue.

Nice, but sadly limited. (But fixable, I think/hope). First of all, I’ve been using this app (5 or 6 times per week for about 2 months) and I find enjoyment from it. I like being surprised with new exercises for the day when I arrive at the gym. It’s almost like meeting with a personal trainer. However, my problem with this app is it’s limited number of exercise machines, etc. My gym has many different machines than this app has in it’s selection section. Since I’ve been visiting my gym for a couple of years I feel like FitnessAI is forcing me to retire some of the machines that, in the past, I’ve been extremely happy with. Now, I know it would be unreasonable for me to expect FitnessAI to list every exercise machine ever invented (especially with animations of how to preform the exercises). But, I’m sad there isn’t a blank template for the user to add his/her gym’s own machines and/or equipment (I really like my Gorila Bar when I workout from home). This app would definitely deserve five stars if this significant shortcoming were addressed in a future update.

Decent App!. To start off, I must say that I have used multiple workout apps and many of them are not worth a penny and actually waste time during the workout for you to input your info. This app is pretty good which changes your workout and adjusts to your progress daily which is excellent and keeps my interest. The routine maker actually is very accurate on adjusting to your exercises, weights, and reps. I do think the developers could make this app a bit better if it could integrate the pulse monitoring and calorie counter better with the Apple Watch. Right now I use this app for my routine, and the Apple Watch workout watch app to register my pulse and calories. Additionally, I hope in the future that the developers allow for timed exercises, not just reps. Overall a very good app, that hopefully in the future will only get better.

Different in a bad way. The workouts seem segmented. When I’m at the gym it is part of a session. In the app it just feels broken up between two groups of muscles and cardio. I’m not sure why you wouldn’t put them all together since that’s what I am doing at the gym. When you’re on the cardio timer you can’t use anything else in the app. Sometimes I like to use that time to see what I’m going to do for the next hour. There are a lot of workouts missing compared to other apps. And the google/YouTube search for more info on existing workouts never really produces the right results. I’m not sure of what AI is in place here. It always seems like a formula like this: If you met the goal reps last time, they will increase difficulty. If you didn’t, the app will keep it the same or lower slightly. I was using FitBod for a year and might go back. This is much slower to change a workout or substitute something. Especially when I have to keep adding workouts that are missing. A gym session doesn’t feel cohesive. There isn’t an option to do a circuit training.

Taking my workout to a new level. I can’t denier was having some reservations after trying other applications to log my workout routine. I can honestly state after using app for four weeks that AIFitness has over exceeded my expectations in some many areas. Easy to use app, very intuitive lay out, love how algorithm keep you progressing and adjusting base on performance. I have never been so satisfy and excited about workout progress and visible results. Also I need to recognize professionalism and dedication of AIFitness customer service. I have a couple of issues that were address immediately and satisfying solutions were provided. Great job! Love how the algorithm take the guess out of how to keep progressing in your workout

Needs improvement. I have been using this app for several month. The technology is great, but compared competitors, there still needs to be improvement. Pros: I like the display and theme of the app. I think it’s professional and like the animated person showing how to do the exercise. I also like the written directions and tips for improvement area. I think the app does a good job and progressing weight and explaining why to lower or increase weight/reps. I also like the easy option to find alternative exercises. I like the chat feature and they response pretty quickly. Cons: There needs to be more exercises add. There are lot of basic exercises missing. For example, Russian twists and dumbbell Bulgarian split squats. It would be nice to have a customizing option to make up for unique exercises or equipment gyms have. One thing that I thought was interesting was the their is no glute muscle group option. I did reach out on the chat and my response was that “all leg and lower body exercises workout your glutes.” While this is true, people want to do a glute focused workouts. Additionally, other competitors have options where you can pick accessory muscle groups to workout such as calves, neck, abductors, etc. Also, the ability to add warm ups and cool downs is frequent feature I’ve seen.

Superior to FitBod. I tried this and FitBod, which seems like the main competitor. This is much better. It tells you when it’s calibrating for you and also when it has changed your weights. It also compares you to others who are similar to you so you can know where you stand. The ux design is intuitive, too, and they have a live human trainer available to message if you have questions! FitBod is clunky (I kept pressing the wrong buttons to make adjustments), doesn’t tell you what it’s doing, and I also think their library is full of useless workouts (I wanted to gain weight and it kept giving me easy weightless exercises). I pair this with Apple fitness or my local gym for cardio and voila, I have a great workout.

Buyer beware of the charges. I downloaded and used this app for two weeks. It’s a good app. However I immediately changed my settings in my apple subscription to be charged 12$ monthly as that is affordable for me. The app tells you that the change won’t go into effect until the following year because it has already charged you 75$ for the yearly subscription. This app needs to update and allow users to chose their payment plan prior to charging them. This app has put my account in the negative twice and froze my card due to suspicious activity. Even my bank found it alarming that I would be charged that much for an app all up front. I won’t be able to continue using this app until that issue is resolved. I know this may sound silly but I don’t even pay more than 10$ for my gym every month I can’t afford this app.

Not as custom as advertised. I love the idea of the app. I pay for it, but I’ll most likely stop eventually. It’s nice because it has many exercises, and great demonstrations on how to do them and what body part/muscle they target. The reason I pay for the app though is it is supposed to pick workouts for me. I enter what I want to train for the day, it surprises me with the workout of the day. However, you can only choose certain muscle groups together. For example, if I want to train chest and shoulders together, it won’t randomize a workout for those two together. It defaults back to chest and triceps. You cannot customize the body parts and get a workout in return. If you want a workout of the day chosen for you, you must follow the body parts they have selected. You can search body parts and put your own workout together, but that’s not really worth $4 a week. You can use google and put together your own exercises. The display is awesome, but I’ll give it 3 stars until they fix it and I can actually choose my own body parts.

Tech support fails. I first encountered Jake to another app developed through the same company called Fitness Tracker Customer support and an app support has completely fallen off and the only way to contact Jake is through the Twitter account which he keeps referring you somewhere else I wanted to discontinue that app before starting this one to make sure that my annual fee was no longer coming out That was a brick wall so I went ahead and waited until Sunday so that I could start my seven day trial with plenty of time to play with the app I was sent an email to purchase it at a discounted annual rate unfortunately the email would not link to the app and I could never open it can’t tell you the countless emails back-and-forth with customer support it was like I was talking to a brick wall not understanding the issue couldn’t even open the app Unfortunately I was never even able to download or open the app to give it a try which I was really looking forward to I’m so disappointed I literally spent hours trying to communicate with him and Dominic at Fitness AI support what a waste of my time

A pretty app that takes the brainpower out of designing workouts. This app makes it easy to stick to a workout routine because it does all the work for you, and it will only offer exercises that you can ACTUALLY do with the equipment you have, which is really neat. So far I’ve found the AI is pretty good at encouraging progressive overload (though it does push a little hard on some exercises and can misinterpret completing all your sets as that workout being “too easy”). You have some, but not complete, flexibility in the specific exercises you do. I would recommend this app for people with a little bit of workout experience (complete newbies won’t know if a workout is too ambitious or not), but could imagine that expert weightlifters might be annoyed by how prescriptive the workouts are. I’m personally really enjoying using it, and it’s really helped me stick to my workout goals!

Fitness AI is good but room for improvement.. I have used a number of fitness apps and keep coming back to Fitness AI. For my budget and schedule, it works the best because I’m able to consistently work out with a program that has been selected to for me based on my needs and desires and do so based on my varying schedule. What they need to work on is allowing the user to move back-and-forth from one exercise to another more easily. The way it seems to be designed is more for just doing one exercise 4x over and then moving onto the next exercise. I like doing sets of exercises rather than waiting to move onto the next exercise. Also, they could do a better job of communicating why they’re recommending certain exercise programs. Education is such a big part of a workout program and while the pictures of each exercise are good, more information would be helpful and appreciated.

Fitness AI is great to stay motivated!. I randomly came across an ad for Fitness AI at the right time. I was getting bored with putting together new workouts. If nothing else, Fitness AI has kept me motivated to workout everyday. I look forward to completing each workout, submitting and finding out what my next workout will be. I am now two months in with workouts and it has been great. Let Fitness AI do the work for you in building your workout. My only suggestion would be to understand your own strength and adjust the weights that you know you can do for the first eight workout trial so you can get the benefit immediately. The app will set your weight pretty low, but it can be easily adjusted. After a severe low back injury I have been able to get into squats and deadlifts again by following the pace of this AI!

This app helped me immensely. A little bit pricey in my opinion but completely worth it. I used to work out regularly a long time ago and I would be constantly studying splits and exercises trying to find out what I should be doing, which worked somewhat but was annoying. I recently started getting back into the gym but had no interest in going through the workout planning, and so I started looking at apps that would plan for me. I tried multiple but the others were planning workouts that I really did not enjoy at all, not that they were hard but they just kind of sucked. Then came this app. This app makes plans for you, telling you exactly what to be doing and how long to rest, and I always leave the gym exhausted but feeling like I got in a great workout. This app is great, and it has helped me in the gym immensely.

Enjoy working out at home with this app.. Great workout tool to have. The app takes you through 4 workout so adjust and tailor a workout based on your weight, goals, and the weight and reps you can complete. I would leave a 5 star rating, but I only have dumbbells at home. So I have to either delete certain lifts or try and find a substitute lift for the same muscle groups. Good news is, I was told by one of the online coaches (who you can message anytime and they reply within 20 minutes, depending on the time of day, of course), that they are working on making more dumbbell workouts and exercises for people in the same boat as I am in. Try it out, what do you have to lose? *****************UPDATE****************** I love the workouts, and how it increases weight and reps for you. Would still to see options of selecting home or gym workouts. Also, would like to select the equipment I have at home, like dumbbells only, incline, decline bench, and resistance bands. Then have more lifts tailored to my personal equipment.

Best workout app!. I was using another workout app for about a year. I decided to make a switch because it wasn’t running as smoothly as I was hoping for. FitessAI has been working out much better. Pick the equipment you are training on and the app gives you a workout on exercises pertaining to your equipment. It’s like having a coach right beside you. The app knows when to add weight or reps and also knows when to decrease weight or reps according to your personal performance. The app runs very smoothly and has several types of training you can choose from or you can customize your own workouts. It’s the best decision I made to switch now I can continue my training knowing I will advance and continue to advance in my results Thanks FitnessAI for making such a great app for weightlifters. Dave

(Almost) As close to perfect as it gets. Great app, by far the best fitness/strength training app i’ve found thus far. This app gives you the benefits of hiring a personal trainer (motivation, exercise diversity and the ability to customize workouts relative to your goals, experience & measurements), without the hefty price tag often associated with personal training. Only two areas that are stopping this from being a 5 star review is the Apple Watch syncing is TERRIBLE and I’d like the ability to customize a super-set workout. As someone who never works out without their Apple Watch, not being able to use it to effectively log my workouts while working out is a huge pain, and I would love to see the developers fix this issue. Once resolved I think this app will be well worth the $50 spent and a 5 star review.

Easy to use for busy people. I’ve seen just a few negative reviews especially on Instagram where it seems everyone is a certified fitness expert. I, for one, am completely satisfied with this app. I’m no Mr. Olympia bit I have some experience with fitness. I’m also a busy person so this app is very handy as it’s does most of my planning when it comes to workout plans. I use it to supplement my workout routines. Mornings are my cardio/functional fitness time and evenings are my weightlifting times and is when I use FitnessAI. I like having the plan already laid out for me so that I can use evenings for decompressing and clearing my head in the gym. If you’re a busy person and don’t have the patience or time to plan and make a workout tracker then try this app. No, you won’t instantly go to fitness model status but that crap isn’t real anyway. What is real is putting in a hard workout, having a plan, tracking your progress, and being consistent. Thus, FitnessAI.

Solid workout app. It’s been said before, the best workout regimen is the one you stick to. This is easy and motivating to stick to. Initially, I found the small number of exercises frustrating, I was used to muscle confusion etc. but the developers explained their algorithm and I bought into it. Each muscle group features a large, compound exercise to start, so you’re getting a lot of the smaller muscles in the group right there. The focus of the ai is ensuring progressive overload and it does that well. As for developer responsiveness, I talk to Jake at least once a week via chat and had never known him prior to being a subscriber. I can’t say I have that much interaction with any other developer nor have I seen someone so focused on tailoring his or her app for so many use cases. I wholeheartedly recommend.

Streamlined my workouts. After a 10 year hiatus from working out I decided to get serious about my health. I joined a gym and started my journey of gaining muscle and losing fat. After about 6 weeks I started to see some improvement, but not as fast as I would like. Also, I am limited on my knowledge of what exercises are best to hit all the muscles in the body. I started to look at different apps when I came across FitnessAI. I decided to try the 7 day free trial and man, am I impressed. It’s only been 3 days, but I can already tell this is going to help fast track my progress. I’m excited to see where this journey will take me. I don’t ever write reviews, but I felt that this is such a great product that I wanted to share so hopefully I help someone like myself.

THE ONE. I have tried sooooo many fitness apps, and after 4 years, I think I have found that one that will make a difference. To give some context, I am a 21 year old male that is 140 pounds and I am looking to gain weight by building muscle. After only a month of using this app I am already noticing a difference, and people around me are too. This is such an incredibly rewarding tool. With most apps I would not follow through for multiple reasons: - complicated workouts - no results - incredibly difficult programs for my body type/beginner ability - programs that are too easy - cardio focused - terrible UI. FitnessAI solves ALL of the above problems with an easy to understand, body type focused workout that is displayed on a world class UI. Will update this review as I make more progress. The biggest thing with this app is to stick to a routine and work out every week! I workout 6 times a week currently but this may not stay the same! Update: watch support added! Please add calendar view widget to see active/inactive workout days Thank you developers Jack Update 2: up to 152lb, but according to my Fitbit scale my body fat percentage is around the same meaning I have gained 10lb of muscle Update 3: !Feature request! Apple Watch working without the need of a nearby iPhone please :)

Great app but a few flaws. So I really like this app. I have been using it for 6 months and made a lot of progress. However, since the release of the beta version there have been a few flaws. The beta version doesn’t seem to save your workout exercises and also it mixes up your routine versus the normal version. The normal version had the same routine that you set up each day. The beta version for me skips back and biceps. I have to go in and edit the routine AND exercises just to get my normal routine back. Then it goes into learning instead of increasing your reps or weight based on previous workouts. Another flaw is the help option on this app. There seems to be only 3 people you can message on the help tab when you have an issue. I have waited over 2 weeks for a reply from ANY other those 3 people. If you have an app with this many users, you should expand your help and support section, read your messages more, and reply in a timely manner.

Want to love it!. Definitely one of the best strength training apps I’ve tried - so many are purely aimed at cardio. Love the clean design and simplicity of Fitness AI. After using it for 3+ years, there are just a few remaining kinks I’m really hoping can get worked out: – The Apple Watch companion app is such a great idea in theory, but it’s hardly ever properly in sync with the iPhone app. The rest timer, exercises, and sets/reps frequently get out of sync during a workout, meaning if you tap to record a set on your watch, sometimes it gets logged to the completely wrong exercise which is super annoying. Fitness focus mode also only turns on successfully sometimes when starting workouts. – There are a few really common gym machines that still aren’t included in the options when selecting exercises (torso rotation and tricep push down machines are top of my wishlist!), and there doesn’t seem to be any option to add custom exercises either. It would be great to have all my workout data in the same app when I want to do these exercises. – This option might’ve been moved, but I can’t seem to find the option any more to turn off daily workout notifications without disabling push notifications altogether. Could’ve sworn this used to exist. Hoping these issues can get worked out and make this app even better!

Absolutely perfect!!. This App is EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for!! I’ve tried quite a few apps to help me workout at home and none compare to Fitness Al! This app is simple to use and VERY user friendly! I LOVE that it automatically lays out specific muscle groups to work each day. I don’t have to plan out everything. I just adjust the weight and exercise to my liking. I also LOVE that it gives the percentage of muscles worked. It’s important to know what muscles I’m working and the effort I’m putting in. The visual effects of the example demonstration are VERY nice. It makes it easy to copy and perform each exercise correctly. After all your sets are complete there is a rest period that counts down for you automatically and I’ve found this feature so helpful in recovery. Thanks to fitness Al I look forward to working out each day. It’s gotten me out of my lazy habits. Fitness Al is great if you like circuit training!! I’m so SO glad I stumbled onto this app and it’s worth the investment.

Great app. I’ve worked out for years, haven't been super consistent and struggled to maintain my own workout routine. I had a buddy who i worked out with who was basically my personal trainer but we parted ways in the military and unfortunately, I fell off. Ive tried personal trainers and developing my own workout routine but I never stay on pace. This app creates the routines for you and builds on the exercises. This was actually an idea I had a while ago but didnt have the know-how to do it. I also love the fact that someone checks in on you when you fall off the bandwagon for a few days. A few suggestions if I may: - implement supersets and drop sets on occasion. Both of these exercises are great to burn out thos muscle fibers. - have the ability to tack on an extra exercise (at random) without forcing me to choose which exercise to go for. I wanted to do one more thing after the end of my workout this week but wasnt sure so I let it go. - eventually have a nutrition tracker or partner with one as an app because the nutrition side of working out is just as if not more important than the workouts Overall a great app and I’ve already recommended it to a couple of people. Keep up the good work Mr. Mor

Like a personal trainer but you don’t need to make conversation with anyone. This app is awesome! I wanted to start more strength training but didn’t want to pay for a personal trainer.. but I also wanted to make sure I was doing exercises with proper form. This app is awesome because it gives you detailed instructions of how to do each exercise, key things to focus on and look out for, and a visual example of the exercises you’re doing that goes while you are supposed to go so you can constantly watch. It builds a balanced workout for you and will increase weights appropriately for your fitness goals so that you are constantly getting stronger. And they have great an exercises that really get ya. I love not needing to think about and plan out my own workout- I just show up to the gym and do what the app tells me to and I have noticed great results after 4 weeks of using this (I started feeling results the first week after 4 workouts, and seeing results the second week after 8 workouts in total- I also had been working out before this app, just doing my own unbalanced workout, so it’s not like I wasn’t in any shape at all before this app!). I am in no way affiliated with this app but am just that enthusiastic about it. I can’t share it with enough people!

Great adaptive workout app. I’ve been using this several weeks now, and I am really taking to it. The app tends to overestimate my strength for initial exercises but it’s trivial to dial it in, after which it gradually helps nudge you forward by increasing weight and/or rep counts. There is a good variety of exercises with decent instructions and helpful animated poses. The built in gym equipment configuration is easy to use and results in exercises that can be done at home with the equipment you have at hand. Minor feedback is that I don’t have 4x 45lbs plates so it would be a useful improvement to be able to specify how many plate sets I have of each weight. The app gives daily motivational tips via email, and the “next routine” works really well to keep you entertained. The statistics section give useful insight in your progress as well as help give you a sense of how you stack up; double motivation. Finally, the ability to get in touch with the dev team is second to none: i tried it twice and had gotten a response from a knowledgeable human within minutes - fantastic experience. Will definitely recommend!

A PT in your pocket. Fitness AI isn’t just a great way to track your workouts. It intuitively maps your progress and adjusts your recommended reps, weight and sets. Easy to use, clean UI and great customer support. Cannot recommend it enough.

Great app!. So far seems very intuitive, customisable and the customer support is fantastic. Recommend!

Simplicity makes this app great to use. The simplicity and ease of use means more lifting time rather than trying to figure out how to use an app. It’s a good platform as a start for novices not wanting to be overwhelmed.

SCAM. I used this app for a while, and it did work. I had to cancel due to corona. When i went to resubscribe i was immediately charged a monthly payment, and was given nothing in return! If you want to lose money for no reason, subscribe to this app. I would not recommend at all.

Great motivation. Enjoying the app and the fact that it adjusts the workouts over time. It’s like having a PT without paying for it.

Wonderful. Beautiful interface, it’s seems like it’s a lot of love behind! Please add the Watch support to take this great app to the next level!

Good app with great features for beginners. Great for those starting up and need consistency.. The exercises the app offers are really suited for those that just want a guide to follow without having to think of muscle groups to work on. I’m sure a lot of beginners will appreciate this and those that do not have time to plan a session themselves. Jake is a very friendly person and very helpful. He’s been improving the app quite a lot and would recommend downloading the app and giving it a go if you want to start lifting and need some direction

Great for independent gym goers. I love this app, really makes the gym more enjoyable and efficient. I really wish there was a apple watch input compatibility. The reminders via watch are ok but for a subscription service I would expect something a bit more user friendly. Only bad point though everything else about the app is good

Pretty Impressed. Best gym app I’ve come across. Love the short timers which keep me focused and efficient, also the way reps are recorded so I don’t feel the need to ruin my form towards the end of a set just to get the reps. No shame in not making the reps as you know the algorithm will work out what’s ideal next workout and you’ll still be building size and strength.

Way overpriced. Fairly basic app, same as many out there. Yet, you are charging $150 a year for this? There are lifetime app unlocks for apps such as Strong and Hevy that offer the same. One year vs permanent? I think you are over reaching on this one

FitnessAI. Great easy to use app. Upgraded and paid for full version. Needs some tweaks and improvements. Developers are available and appear to take on suggestions, but I haven’t seen them applied yet.

Review. I am loving this app. It works so well. Lots of alternatives, you can repeat workouts and build your rhythm. Sweaty selfies are a reward. Highly recommended

Beautiful app!. Excellent app for an incredibly well illustrated, planned and targeted training programme. I can feed in my equipment inventory, enter my planned days per week and the application does a great job of working out my regimen, all while incrementally making it intense as I progress. Highly recommended.

Review. Great app . I love how easy it easy to use and the variety of workouts it gives . I definitely recommend for beginners who want to learn in the gym

Great!. Works well. Awesome I don't have to think about it. Progression is nice. Customisation for available equipment is really helpful.

Best gym app I’ve used. This app is without doubt the best PT in your pocket. Can’t rate it highly enough 👌🏼👌🏼

Best Fitness App!. I have been wary of fitness apps that promise you they’ll show you how to train better, only to download them and find out that they literally are just picture (or moving graphics) of the exercises you COULD be doing to target x muscle group leaving you to do all the guess work. If you want more the. You have to pay for what the same thing? Because the free app only shows a dozen of the ‘common’ exercises to get you going? Not this App. Yes it has moving graphics, but they are detailed and matched with the AI are targeted FOR you. You can cycle between shoulders and chest, legs and core with a range or cardio thrown in for good measure. All weighted to you. Could t be simpler. You enter in your stats and off you go. Only have 30 min in the gym? Choose the short or medium exercises or the long. Can’t do the weight it recommends, scale it back. Weight to easy, dial that puppy up! This is the first App I have paid the 1 year membership for. Forget the rest. Buy this you won’t regret it!

Cracking App. Have been using FitnessAI for some time now. Recommend to all. AI keeps the challenge increasing and keeps me accountable and continually progressing.

Great simple weights program and progress tracker. Tracking of weights lifted and reps, frequency of workouts and progress. I didn’t do this before using this app, as it was a pain. Just this has made a huge difference to my motivation and progress. Great workouts without paying PT for a program. Would love to see this app expand outside of body building to aerobic, HIT and flexibility fitness too

Great app. Easy to use, lots of options, practical, tracks progress and much more. Highly recommend

Fitness AI. Great app for tracking and recording your progress with training. Also great for beginners with not knowing how or where to start.

Great variety for workout sessions. Easy to use and has a lot of workout options. This app can set you up with a plan or you can make your own.

Two weeks in. I’m two weeks into my training with the app and I’m starting to see improvement in my both my strength and endurance. I would definitely recommend this app.

Better than a PT?. Never left a review before, but this app seriously deserves some praise. Definitely the most useful and intelligent workout app I’ve come across. No more need to manually track my own weights, sets, reps, workout routines etc. This app is nearly as good as having a private PT by your side every session. Perhaps it’s better... at least the app doesn’t interrupt your sesh by talking the whole time!

Fitness AI. This app helps you build your body and it insanly incredible. 5 start for this one

Great App!. It’s like having a personal trainer with out paying for one! Small improvements in UX can be made... but overall very good app!

Great App. It is affordable and really helps you track your progression. Highly recommend

So far so good. Great app. Easy to use. Simple yet effective UI. It’d be even better if it has a dedicated “watch” app. More varieties of weight exercises could also be included

Great fitness app. Probably the best fitness app I’ve come across so far. Highly recommend it.

Amazing!. This app is awesome, love how it tailors workouts to each person and adjusts future workouts based on performance in previous ones. Makes going to the gym easy, only flaw is that there is no option to input which gym equipment you have available to use, makes it hard to complete some workouts if you don’t have the equipment available. If a feature could be implemented where exercises are chosen for your workout based on the equipment you have, that would make the app perfect!

Worth the coin. This has been a super helpful app to keep me on point with my weight loss and training.

So far so good. Three workouts into the trial and the workouts have been great. Looking forward to new features and unlocking the AI.

It might be good but .... The free “preview” mode gives you about 3 seconds before it pops up a dialogue asking you to subscribe. I’m not sure about others, but 3 seconds isn’t really enough for me to get an idea of what the app is all about. They do offer a free trial, but the “preview” mode is not what it suggests. Also, according to one of the reviews, it seems that the AI feature isn’t available during the trial. How can you trial an AI based app (that is its selling point), if you don’t have access to that feature during the trial?

HANDSDOWN THE BEST FITNESS APP FOR WEIGHTLIFTERS!. I’ve always tried a bunch of different apps to find one that works for me (an avid weight lifter). Finally after finding this app, my search can stop. There’s nothing else out there like this app and I can recommend it enough to anyone who’s wanting to lift more, perform better, track your sessions, keep you accountable and even get past any weight goals that your struggling to break through at!

Unsatisfactory. The app does not work without a subscription. It allows 1 week “trial” period, but the “AI” functionality needs at least 8 workouts to engage. Furthermore, the app currently offers a special *weekly* price for the *annual* subscription, but does not immediate tell what will be the overall cost for the whole year. Feels almost like scam. The UI is not exceptionally convenient. I had started a workout, completed a few exercises and occasionally slides down the panel. The workout automatically completed, and there’s no obvious way to restart it or amend the results. The UI also seems to assume that I do exercise one after another, while I prefer to do sets in rounds.

It’s a very good app. This app has helped me focus a lot on my fitness during lockdowns and my free time it is a great help!

Game Changer.. I have been using this app for over a year and it has been Truly a game changer for me !

Revolutionary. Truly personalised approach, honestly liked it, with this, all one needs is the will to go to the gym, rest is taken care by the app. Support is super good too. Go for it.

My review on FitnessAI. Very convenient and love how it shows you the right form and function for each exercise. Works fantastic for beginners!

Best App On the Market!!. In the beginning I was quite skeptical, like most apps you download, you are led by the company to believe you are receiving this amazing service, misled by false pictures and having to pay for anything in the app. NOT THIS APP. I am so glad I downloaded this application, it shows you every exercise in your workout, what muscle groups, allows you to customise multiple options for the workout, when you think about it too probably saves you a tonne of money due to the fact you have access to support teams that are so helpful. Very impressed, you will be too, Kind regards, Happy User.

Good. If you’ve hit a wall with your workouts, this app opens up a new world of exercises and tracking.

Great app love it. One update request… Choosing metric in the settings doesn’t change the choices for dumbbells in the “gym” section. I have metric (kg) dumbbells but the selection is in pounds (lbs) just converted to dumbbells. This means there’s no 25kg or 30kg options

Good place to start.. App itself is very simple to use, very well laid out, clean and simple. The routine seems very well rounded, definitely geared to someone just starting out who may not know where to begin (like me). Definitely worth the money.

One of the best fitness apps. I’ve only used the app for a few days, and I’m already blown away with how smart great it is. It makes tracking sets and weights a breeze and takes the guess work out. The adaptive AI is a brilliant function and keeps me motivated and on my game.

Love this app!!. Makes tracking workouts and progress so easy. I find it to be addictive going every day and watching my stats improve over time. There are a couple popular exercises I’ve noticed are missing (e.g. pull ups, tricep dips, weighted crunches). But I don’t think that’s a major issue since the app has you working every muscle group anyway. One thing I’d like to see is more stats to track relating to cardio. Such as speed, incline/decline, resistance. That would be cool. Otherwise fantastic app. I love it.

Excellent. Very efficient work outs, so no wasted time in the gym. The app has an intuitive interface very easy to use.

Absolute lifestyle changer. Have been using this app for a few weeks now and not only am I seeing results, I am feeling the best shape I have in a long while.

Best Workout app I’ve tried. I’ll start by saying that I’ve never left an app review before, so this says something. I’ve used every single workout app I could find. I stuck to Strong for a long time because it is easy to use and very user friendly, however, Fitness AI does the same workout tracking while also automatically setting, calibrating and updating workouts specifically for you. It’s basically your own little personal trainer, that comes with you to every workout. This means there is no need to look at previous workouts to decide which weight to pick (app does it for you), no worries about struggling to finish a set (if you fail to hit the rep count, the app adjusts for next time), and no worries about picking a weight that was too easy either. Rest timers are great (I loved them in Strong, and I love them now) between sets, though it lacks one between exercises. The App developers are super responsive and extremely friendly and helpful. My only real issue is that Apple Watch compatibility is very needed so that you can log sets with a simple tap without having to pick up your phone, unlock it and then click done... every... single... set (especially since I prefer to workout without my phone). This would make this already incredible app near perfect.

My AI personal trainer. Great app- has made me self sufficient heading in to the gym, with how-to guidance on every exercise and options to replace any of the suggested if I’m not feeling confident on the set. Tracks and pushes you harder each session, very motivating!

Amazing. It doesn’t matter if you are a seasoned gym goer or not, this app adds constant variety. And if you have been doing gym as long as I have (30 years) you know that is one of the biggest mistakes, not adding variety and shaking it up. This app is very simple but it hits that variety sweet spot. (I was reluctant to make the purchase, given my experience but I am so glad that I did)

Too expensive. There’s not a rolling update worth of $120 per year. It just divides a week into bicep, tricep, leg days, and comes up with some pretty routine workouts. You can download a iMuscle and get much more variations of workout for a small fixed price. AI is just a gimmick and there’s nothing smart this app can do.

Great app. Really enjoying the movements suggested. Wish it had a progress graphing feature

Smoke and Mirrors. I got suckered into paying for this for the year after a promising free trial. I’m an experienced weight lighter and wanted to try something new. Jokes on me, after the AI “learns” you. You get put on a rotation of the same workouts every three days, with varying difficulty depending on how you did the last time. I can promise you this will cause you to plateau quick and increase the risk of injury regardless of experience. They have 5-6 different workouts for each group and that is it. “We are working on more stuff” Was what I got when I challenged them. Okay cool, then why the eff was I charged for this if I’m a beta tester? Plain and simple, it’s a scam that’s meant to hook you in the trial. They even offer a 30% discount if you cancel during trial just to reinforce the scam. Kicking myself for getting suckered into this.

Good for beginners but. Idk how to make my own routine bc I’m new at the gym so this app helps BUT it doesn’t have Lb only KG so... if I’m paying $80 for an app maybe it should have CANADIAN options. Also wish there were more settings. But overall it’s good

Fitness Al. I’m really liking my Fitness Al App . Enjoy having my workouts preplanned, really easy to Log.

Joe97boston. Awesome

Review. System is great if your American. The weights are only in KG which is really frustrating takes me away from the workout to do the conversions. Dumb

great app. it’s a great app and all but i don’t like u have to pay

So many better options for less or free. This is truly a basic linear tracker for a very limited program. It lacks what FitBod and Volt (for example) have in their apps: No ability for app to build program based on your goals. This has really just one option. Volt has sport specific programs using periodization for example. No ability to select equipment you have access to. It assumes full gym. This is really terrible. This app is so far behind on this part. At Home shouldn’t just be body weight. In FitBod they have over 50 pieces of gear you can select. If you’re paying for an app and you can’t select equipment, you’re getting poor value. I got the free trial then cancelled. I tried it again and somehow it charged me for the year. That’s annoying for sure but what’s worse is I paid 50% less for FitBod for an app that is 100% better. Buyer beware. This is a simplistic app worth $4.99 one time as it lags it’s competitors in every way.

Excellent motivator. The automatic difficulty upgrades have kept pushing me to do better, and the occasional change in exercise type within a workout has kept the workouts from becoming stale/over-predictable.

So far so good. Works as expected, need a bit more time with it to give a more detailed review.

great app. love the app, works well with Apple Watch too !

Review. Great workouts. Love how they switched to a home workout beta for covid. Awesome work

Perfect for beginners. For beginners this app is great source of knowledge about exercise and best part is scheduled. I definitely recommend this app

Easy to use app.. Don’t have to think about my training routine. Easy to adjust (reps/weight/exercise) if needed. Just need to add warm ups and stretching for 5 star review.

Five of Five. They are excellent and practical exercises, and I benefited a lot from them, I advise everyone to participate. Try them for the first three days for free, and you will notice the difference.

Ease of use. I’ve used it a few weeks and i enjoy it so far. Its fairly comprehensive and easy to use. Id like cardio tracking added. Location specific equipment tracking is nice.

Great app. Pretty easy app to use and very helpful to track improvements

Very, very close to 5 star. Let me make this clear, this is a great app. For context, I’m a 16 year old varsity basketball player and I realized that I needed to gain muscle mass. I had some previous resistance training experience, however I certainly needed guidance if I wanted my workouts to be productive. That’s when fitness AI helped out. The app is minimalistic, user-friendly, adaptive to what equipment you own and very descriptive. The workout animations are detailed and the written directions are clear and simple. Furthermore, the AI actually works and responds to user input by giving more or less reps or weights. So your probably thinking “if this kid says the app is so good then why is it 4 stars?” Answer is simple: it doesn’t accommodate for workouts that are done outside the app. What I mean by that is if an individual had a rather strenuous lower body plyometric workout, there isn’t an option to substitute that workout for the app’s leg workout. And I can’t just skip a workout, if the app tells me I’m doing legs, then I’m doing legs whether I like it or not. While the feature of choosing what muscle groups an individual works out is part of the AI, I would personally appreciate a way to substitute workouts. Fortunately this issue is relatively unique to my circumstances, but if the devs could fix it then this would be a 5 star app. So if you want to workout with weights, get this app, it’s well worth it. It ain’t easy, but the general health and mental health benefits of workout out are priceless

Unfair. There charging way to much there making millions off of the app when they would still make a lot of money If they dropped the price they are just here for the money

I love it!. It’s always adapting and I really love it. It makes track practice 10x easier especially not being able to hit the gym. Big up!

Nice training apps. This training apps is almost complet! Maybe miss some exercises, but the main core is here. Great explication on every exercise . Tracking is perfect, all your charge follow what you enter last time. Maybe it’s hard to understand the app, but when you understand, it’s easy!

Great workouts. Really been enjoying, loads of different variations also,it’s been amazing so far.

Good workout. Great App and it’s helped me with my trainings and kept it down to 1hr with cardio on the timer. My only advise is to allow for training days in a week and adjust program for all body parts say for 3 day work week if you are busy with work. Anyways I’m Happy with it and reasonable priced. Cheers Darren

No refund applicable. They took a amount of money in my bank account, when i ask for a refund they said that i need to ask Applestore for a refund cause they can’t make it. So i did it, we took 1 hour and a half to figure it out how and why they took the money, anyway... long story short, until today i haven’t got a message from them. Well... but their app is alright

Decent app. It’s ok not bad but could use some improvement for such an expensive subscription. I wouldn’t use it if it hadn’t automatically charged me so be careful when downloading it

You don’t need AI to tell you this. It’s a well done app but needs work to make it less annoying to use. No audio instructions as to what’s next, highly annoying to take your phone out to log every set. With enough work, it’ll be handy for sure. If you don’t mind 20 of these services sucking $250 out of your wallet every month, go ahead. But not for me. Again, subscription models are ruining the marketplace with every random app thinking they’re providing so much value. You’re not. Sorry. It’s worth $10-20 at once. Like it used to be. You don’t need pay $12 a month for some “AI” to tell you to progressively increase the load or increase reps. It’s basic. You gotta learn and understand that regardless. Can you count? Do you have bodybuilding.com’s app for free routines? Good. You don’t need this app then.

Great progress. Weight in lbs now, great workouts and am feeling good progress after a long plateau period. That being said, they do need to add more variety in workouts. It’s great to change it up every workout like they do, but after 2 of each day (2 days of push, for example) the workouts are the same as last week. More variety please!

Great app. Great app works with you help you strive to get active!!🤟

Great Weight Lifting App. This app is great! Lots of exercices variations from week to week. It adapts the reps and weights to help you continue pushing yourself, grow stronger and get bigger!

Good app. Helps me log my reps and weights

WARNING - Credit card charge!. I started a free trial and cancelled in my Subscriptions area of my Apple ID. But nevertheless I received a charge from this developer on my credit card! They have now refunded this. Do stay vigilant though.

So much variety. I was getting in a workout rut and this app gave me so many new ways to use the little bit of workout gear I have. Fantastic!

Must try !. Its one of the best one I have used so far

Very happy. The app is amazing !!!! Really working for me 💪🏼

Not sure if worth the money. No pounds (lbs)

Great app. Good service as well. Would recommend it.

Great app. Great app, my only wish is that I could customize or add new exercises

Good stuff ✊🏽. It’s easy to follow along, and it has put me onto to try new and fun ways of exercising. I’ve told a couple buddies about this app. Real dope stuff guys good job!

Pretty good. I personally like the fact that I don’t have to progressively overload and I just let the app do it for me

Great automated workouts.. Having it all planned out what I’m gonna do for each workout is great! Request: - Add bear crawls, wood choppers, KB swings

Pretty good app. Keeps me on task and plenty of options for exercises.

Was lost at the gym before this app!. I’m used to be intimidated by the gym. It’s full of jacked guys huffing and puffing. To go in there as a total newbie is very nerve wrecking. I never knew what to do at the gym. I was never consistent until I discovered this app. It motivates me to see my stats. Plans out my workout, and tells me everything that I need to do at the gym. It’s a life changer for me. I’m able to maintain consistency since for the first time with this app I see progress. I would recommend it to anyone. Money well spent. I just follow it blindly and I’m seeing measurable progress.

Parfait !!!. Cette Application est tout simplement géniale. -Elle s’adapte à vos forces et faiblesses. -Elle s’adapte à vos équipements. Et si vous êtes honnête avec elle, les résultats sont incroyablement rapides. Elle vaut vraiment le prix payé.

Great app. Routines that just works for me!

😊👍. I real enjoy my workout my arms n chest like yo start my shoulder 😊😊

Review Jan 2022. The app it’s self and the staff that help out with any questions are great but could use cardio training and also the app is missing some exercises I’m sure in time this will be the best app in 2022

Really good and useful, very informative.. Been really enjoying the app so far and it’s helped me out a lot

girlieee445. I think it’s a nice app for fitness & work out but I think it would be cooler if it was free!

This app sucks. First i start a subscription and it wont even let me go past the introduction. Every time when i’m trying to do the beginning steps it kicks me out of the app I cant do anything.

Beginner. The app is great. There needs to be a better way to assess where people are based on the level they have chosen. I chose beginner because I haven’t worked out in quite some time. The weight that is chosen for me per workout is well beyond where a beginner should start from. Additional questions maybe should be added so that the chosen weight is more customized to the person. History of working out, history of being an athlete, history of working out. Maybe add a tool where when someone first starts give them a list of workouts over a broad spectrum of workouts in the app. Ask them to try and complete the list based on their max on down to their comfort level. This should help determine where they are ready to begin.

New workout routines.. I have been going to the gym for over 30 years. 2 years ago I had a reality check. My brother suddenly pas away my individual body metrics were out of control. I knew I had to change The trend. I started with diet lost 32 lbs in over 6mos. Some muscle mostly fat. My metrics are now under control. I have done different kinds of workout to build strength and size. I was looking for something different, a workout that will now help to tone and strengthen. These workouts at FitnessAl are specific to each body part and really don’t take that long to complete. But I feel it. It’s something different everyday. Can’t wait for my next workout. Thanks FitnessAl

Definitely needs to retool it’s format.. Let me get this straight; I have to workout with the app 8 times before I get to experience this so-called “AI feature” but the free trial only lasts a week? So I’m supposed to workout twice a day the first week then to make a proper decision on whether or not to pay? No thanks? Also, no rest timer between sets? That’s a basic feature of any workout app. Finally, it offers little in the way of customization. For instance, it doesn’t allow you to replace one exercise with another (eg. what if I don’t have a cable row machine?) or alter the length of the workout. We need an app rehab reality show, like we have a bar rehab show, where an expert comes in and helps app developers to fix themselves and tears them apart for pumping out crap on the App Store just to try and turn a quick buck. That was a quick DELETE!

Intermediate user-definitely recommend. I’ve always been an intermediate gym goer. usually I found myself plateauing because I always did some of variation of the same few workouts I knew and liked. This app is great. It takes all the effort out of planning your workouts. It’s always giving you a variety of workouts but makes sure you’re overall workout routine isn’t skipping any groups. It also takes into account what equipment you have when planning your workout. Definitely worth the cost. I’ve had a 1-1 personal trainer before and this is almost as good but 1 year of the app only costs as much as 1-2 sessions with an actual trainer.

Love it (from the girl who’s tried them all). I’ve tried so many fitness apps on a quest for the right one, and this is BY FAR my favorite. I worked out more in this last year than I ever have before and was on a mission to find an app that made workouts “easy” in the sense it told me what to do and got my whole bod trained. I love strength training but I found other apps redundant, dislike video workouts, or the app did not work my whole body like I wanted. This app is truly perfect for my goals... I am so motivated, I’m sore in the best way ;), and I can tailor to match my equipment. I bought a weight bench just to be able to diversify more. Would love to see TRX workouts added in the future!

BEST app for working out. This app is really something! I’ve been on this for a month now and am very impressed. The app gives you a routine to follow and automatically makes it easier or harder as you use it each day. It has you do weird combinations of sets and reps at times, like 4 sets of 9. That isn’t something I would ever do on my own but it seems to be working because I’m ALREADY benching 10lbs more than I was a month ago. Basically, by making it harder ever so slightly every time you work out it builds you a strength. So far I’ve been getting a ton of compliments on how I’ve been looking which feels really nice. Have already recommended it to a few friends. Def worth a shot 👍🏼

A Must Have App that Keeps You Fit!. I workout at home and was on the hunt to find a fitness app that would utilize the majority of the equipment I have in my home gym. Also I needed that app to spit out workouts for me every week and self adjust based on my progress. MAN!!!! am I glad I found this GEM! There are so many different routines to pick to build your workout schedule (I do the 3 day classic) and there are a lot of other cool features that will keep you looking forward to that next workout. I’ve tried other workout apps in the past but this one is truly worth the $$$. My suggestion is to try it out and see for yourself.

Makes Working Out Addictive Again. From what I understand, the app employs an algorithm to formulate your daily workout for maximum results. Though I am sometimes a bit wary of the workouts proposed, i definitely value the way it pushes me to lift more weight than i would normally, and how it motivates me to keep going. (gotta love pressing those blue circles.) they have made vast improvements since the launch version. I love the level of commitment and personal attention the developer shows. the app is expensive, but for me, it has been worth the price. After nine months of working out 3 times/wk with AI, people have noticed a difference, and i am feeling stronger and looking better than i have in decades.

Promising, but needs some polishing.. I’ve been using Volt Athletic’s app for a while and saw an ad for this, so I wanted to take a gander and see if it would fit my goals better. It looks like it really could, but needs some fine tuning (I only toyed around with the first day, back/biceps, so that’s all I can speak for). 1. Very limited ability to substitute exercises. Any serious gym goer will tell you that pull ups are one of the best measures of upper body strength, and there’s no option to sub it in. Sure, you can make a custom exercise, but someone who’s new wouldn’t know any better. 2. I wasn’t able to reorder my exercises. I wanted to add deadlifts to my back day (maybe it’s in leg day, I don’t know). That was simple enough, but I like to do deadlifts when I’m fresh and it didn’t look like reordering was an option. 3. Maybe in the future, add an option to input 1RM into the program and have it build from there. It said it would take 8 workouts for it to learn my body; and for a beginner, that’s great, but I already know mine. 4. Maybe make different templates and allow advanced users to utilize them (5x5, etc). I don’t find Push-Pull-Lower to be enjoyable, but loved doing other rep schemes. (I’m aware there are other 5x5 apps, for the record.) These are just a few thoughts. With a few tweaks and a new color scheme, it’ll be great!

Excellent source for the beginner to intermediate. FitnessAI works well to explain how to do each exercise and which muscle groups it is working. The app is strait forward whether you’re using the original version or stepping up your game to use the Beta version. I’ve been using it for several months and have experienced the growth I was wanting. The advent of the Beta version leads me to believe that the main designers of the app are listening to its users and are updating and bettering the functionality for its users. This is all a buyer can ask for regarding design. The price point for service is on par with other similar apps. I have suggested this app to friends and coworkers.

I’ve tried several apps and I definitely choose FitnessAI!. I was looking for an app that would help me have my gym routines and achieve my goals. I have tried several and I definitely choose FitnessAI to be my forever trainer! The app is easy to use, the videos of the exercises are detailed, I loved the routine they put together for me and what I like the most is that they offer me the possibility of helping me change my routines when I need it, so that I don't Be monotonous and keep moving forward. So yes, it is an app that will be my ally forever! In addition, the service is amazing, if I have any questions they answer me by chat almost immediately and they also check you out and keep you motivated. Thanks FitnessAI!

Great App. So far I’m loving the app. The only thing I would change is the ability to INCREASE the amount of reps per set. It would be especially helpful when first starting out to get your weights dialed in. It wants to start everything at 5 reps and work up. But let’s say you start a set at 185 and then have no problem doing 10 reps. The next time that exercise rotated through in a couple days, it could increase the weight and drop to 8 reps instead of moving up to 6 reps and maintain weight. I know you can increase the weight for the sets. But it is still annoying to have to work through those 5 and 6 rep sets just to get to 10. I also have no idea what the increase reps option does in the menu because I have tried it and saw no change.

Glorified Exercise Tracker. Especially since version 5.7, this app has felt like a glorified exercise tracker. The workouts have become completely predictable- if you complete your set, rest for the minimum amount of time you set; if you don’t, add some time. If you make your reach the upper end of your rep range, increase the next weight next time, etc. I’m curious to what exactly the “AI” portion of the app is doing, because it really doesn’t seem like anything. There’s not even a need for me to renew my subscription as I can anticipate with confidence what the app will suggest I do. With that said, if you don’t care about the effectiveness of the AI, then this app does serve as an excellent sidekick to your workout. Great way to track progress without looking like you’re from the stone ages with a notebook and pencil.

Great Functionality Overall/Good for Beginners. I really enjoy this app and I think it is one of the best ways to learn how to workout. Some issues I find are that sometimes the app resets while it’s still open and won’t save your last set. Not a huge issue but would make the app better. Another minor issue I find is that when you make a custom workout, sometimes it will revert back to the default. Other than that, I think the $3.99/week would be better justified if the workouts were changed up rather than just increasing weight/reps/sets. For me to keep paying for this app once I become more experienced is to have either: A) more content or, B) offer a lower price.

Read before downloading. People who need that push, that motivation but can’t seem to get it anywhere else because. Here it is, and the best part of it is that it’s in the palm of your hand, you work your own schedule and very effective to those who are just beginning or even to the experienced. I’m leaving this review because before getting the app I read a couple of bad reviews on people that didn’t even give the app a chance!.. which is really unfair to the app and to everyone else putting in their hard work + time into making this app genuine. This is not a scam app, not foreign. It’s very genuine and you can tell that a lot of work was put into the app, real recognize real. 👍

Great Training app. After using many fitness/training apps I have to say that this app is by far one of the best. Great list of exercises, alternative exercises, totally helps me log and track my progress and allows me to program my workouts with lots of options. It would be great if there was a duration feature other than reps for some exercises like Plank, rowing machines and other cardio equipment ect., for warmups, working towards goals and regular workouts. I especially like that the app increases weight and reps based on prior workouts. I use this app just about every time I’m in the gym. Definitely worth it!

I like it, but.... The best aspect of this app is that it’s like having a trainer next to you during your workouts telling you what to do daily/weekly, and how long to rest. This is incredibly helpful to prevent lingering and loafing around at the gym, which I’m guilty of... That being said, there’s no “AI” involved here. That’s purely marketing. The workouts are pretty good, but I have some issues with them. 1) They don’t incorporate supersets; 2) They’re not designed by a physical therapist, as they suggest exercises that are clearly not smart to perform if you care about functional strength and not injuring yourself; 3) It’s predictable (you’ll notice after a few weeks that the only changes it makes is with number of reps then a slight increase in weight). Is it worth paying for to get started? Yes. Is it worth the price they’re asking per month? No.

Fitness AI Meets High Expectations. Great App!. I’ve truly enjoyed using the Fitness AI app. I’ve been using it for just over a month now and have consistently gone to the gym five days a week. This app is highly intuitive and I actually feel like I’m enjoying my workouts. I don’t have to think about which exercise to do or at what weight. I work in engineering and after a long day of making very strategically detailed decisions it’s lovely being able to go to the gym and not have to think as critically about my workout routine. If you don’t want what is recommended by the AI, it’s highly customizable. I look forward to seeing Fitness AI develop capability with my Apple Watch as I’m almost always wearing during workouts. Aside from that feature, it’s an amazing app as it stands.

Fitness AI is the real deal.. Fitness AI is great! I have always been pretty active when it comes to working out and staying in shape. I’m an active duty service member and also an MMA fighter. Working out is huge thing in my day to day life: However, I’ve always struggled on what I’m going to do in the gym or sometimes not sure on what to do next. Fitness AI keeps me on track and really sets a plan for my self. I really enjoy the variety of workouts this app has. I’m pleased and use this app everyday and just from the short tome I’ve used the app I’ve seen so much improvement in muscle tone just because of how many exercises there are and how they hit such a wide variety of muscle group.

Highly recommend!. I love this app. Completely changed my daily workout and has made things so easy for building muscle, exercises, daily muscle group focus etc. I really appreciate the app showing you exactly how to do the exercise and which muscles it works on. I also love the substitutions it offers if I do not have the proper equipment. It made a big difference in my results, it tracks my progress and it takes the thinking out of what to do each day. I just pull up the app and it has my workout ready! I love it. I look forward to it because it has simplified my planning, it times by sets, I can adjust things if I want to and I see a positive difference with my results. Great app!

Great so far. Have been using this for about a month now and so far so good! I have been training for years now and have a background in health and fitness but wanted to give this a try. After all, it can get cumbersome designing your own splits and workouts (nobody likes manually tracking reps, sets, weight %). So I thought, let’s remove all the manual work and give the AI a shot. Needless to say, I have actually been sore after a lot of my workouts the following day! Which is always a great feeling bc u kno it’s working as intended. Time will tell if the dreaded wall comes with the programs but hopefully the AI algorithms help prevent that plateau.

Worth a try. I’m a paying customer and will continue to do so. It’s a great concept and has proven to be incredibly helpful in tracking my progress as well as making my selection of workouts super easy. Its downfall comes down to lack of exercises. While there are plenty of barbell, machine and dumbbell workouts, there is a big gap in other areas such as kettlebells. As of this writing there are only 3 kettlebell workouts available. Kettlebell workouts have blown up in popularity since the start of the pandemic because of their small size and versatility, which is crucial in a home gym setup. The staff is quick to respond to questions and requests. I personally would say that their service is worth the money, but the value will only increase as time goes on. If you’re tight on cash and are disciplined in your workouts, you may not need this. If you wait a year or two as the product improves, it will be worth cutting out the mind space that tracking workouts take. I personally will increase my reviews rating when I see a larger set of options for kettlebells.

Could be better. I will admit that I find the app useful and very helpful. It guides you as much as you let it and it has a nice interface. However, none of this is why I gave it three stars. I gave it three stars because it is very misleading with certain information. For instance, in the app store under in-app purchases, it shows multiple subscription options. In the app itself, it only shows the weekly subscription option. In the subscription page of my account ID page, it only shows the weekly subscription option. What is the point of listing the app with multiple subscription options but only having one available?

Great app but could be even better. I’ve been using this app for at least 2 months and I have to say it is amazingly easy to use. I love how it tracks all my numbers and provides examples of workouts. The only complaint I have is that it does not have enough free weight workouts, especially for legs. I recently switched gyms and my new one does not have any machines. I have the app for a year so I would like to continue using it, but I’m very limited in my workout because so many of the features workouts rely on machines. Being able to toggle out of machine workouts altogether would make the app close to perfect! Also, a superset option would be an amazing feature, especially for the last section of each workout.

Great App - small additions will go a long way. This app is simple and easy to use, unlike the majority of the top rated workout apps that require you to type stuff in during a session (stupid in my opinion). The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is due to the lack of flexibility on rep counts (maybe I want to do more than the prescribed 10 but can’t put it in), the lack of Apple Watch integration (no app - really all it would need to do is show cool down timer and how many sets/reps per workout on the watch), and MOST importantly - no heart rate integration!! Other than that, I agree it needs an increase in number of workouts but frankly, I’m not a body builder (like the majority of people) and this app hits the mark beautifully. Genuinely simple and easy. Leave feeling sore every time (which is a good thing).

Great Integration with Apple Watch but Don’t run the “Workout” App with this.. I love FitnessAl's integration into the Apple Watch but it keeps interfering with my "Workout" app. I'm intending to use this app at the same time with the “Workout” app on the Watch. As someone who wants to use this app to track my workout pace and rests and NOT use it to record my Workout data (Active/Rest Calories etc), I ran into a major issue. Every time I log a set on FitnessAl, it ends my workout on my "Workout" app, causing me to lose the data that I want. This app is great but I will not continue if it interferes with my "Workout" data. Please let me know if there’s a way to fix this issue. 🙏

Great app. Great app. Been using it for approx 3 weeks now and I enjoy the variety in the workouts, the ability to customize how many times per week you’re expecting to workout, and the wide range of alternatives for each muscle group. The app also increases your workout difficulty week over week, and you can easily edit the amount of reps or weight you plan on lifting that day. I think it’s certainly worth the money for a yearly subscription. If I had one suggestion, I would include a way to log cardio workouts as well (treadmill, stair stepper, bike, walk/run) so that a user could capture those workouts and calorie burns as well.

Great App for people looking to gain strength and track workouts. I can’t say enough about this app. It’s a phenomenal app and great for tracking my workouts. I love the rest timer in between sets and the fact that I can change out exercises during each day. It’s such an easy app to use and the layout is fantastic. Also, the customer service is possibly one of the best things. They answered all of my questions and were completely understanding. I would recommend this app to anyone who wants to be legit with their exercises and add strength. Those who fail to plan are planning to fail! This app makes it so that you plan and look to succeed in the gym

Worth it!. Really love this app! If you are looking for a way to have a program set for you and be able to hit some goals, this app has it all. It suggests exercises, sets and reps, but is flexible enough to let you change/edit all or any of it. Super easy set and rest tracking as well. The user interface is super intuitive and I’m sure anyone can figure out most settings. I love l the flexible settings as well. The customer service is so amazing! They send tips and tricks very often and ask for your feedback and actually respond when you have feedback or a question. Highly recommend the app!

Get this app if you are looking to strengthen safely over time. Great progress.. I love the progressive overload calculations- has me lifting more weight progressively over time than I ever have before. Awesome to be able to see your progress and not have to crunch any of your own numbers. This app has me constantly improving. Similarly with the number crunching- I love how it tells you how to set up your barbell- I just know I need a 45, 25, and 2.5 plates per side- no math needed. I’ve recommended this app to my boyfriend and anyone I know who is trying to improve in the gym and doesn’t want to do all the number crunching. This app has me spending Less time on the calculator and more weightlifting.

Personal trainer in app form. The value of FitnessAI is unparalleled. Personal trainer in an app. You input the equipment you have at your disposal, tell it what kind of exercises you enjoy, input a few metric details, and from then on you have a tailored exercise regimen across however many days per week or minutes per day you have available for working out. It’s outstanding. Been using this for a few months and I am very pleased at how balanced it is by muscle group and how easy it is to use. Truly, this is a personal trainer with step by step instructions and personalized workouts, at literally a very small fraction of the cost. Cannot come more highly recommended from me.

FitnessAI is perfection!. I’m a top personal trainer in Los Angeles for the last 10 years. Being able to provide my clients and network FitnessAI for their independent training is a game changer! The exceptional programs based on detailed data per client are world class. FitnessAI provides elite guidance and support in real-time with each exercise throughout every session. There is nothing left out in this app that an elite trainer gives their client. I love it. Most of all, this app keeps the session moving with minimal need for tracking by always using one touch recording during the training. This is my go to for everyone to get in shape! I’m looking forward to expanding my business because of this resource 100%.

Love this app! It’s my daily motivation. Honestly this app works! I’ve built a plan and every week it challenges me with increase in strength or reps or suggest a new workout to prevent me from plateauing! My wife saw me using it as she recently got back into fitness after giving birth to our child. She now leaves me alone from building her regime lol but she also comes back super pumped and raving how it was her best workout yet! Trust me utilize these tools that are incorporated it will work! I love the Apple watch app makes it far easier to track my workout instead of unlocking my phone or noting it down in my book! Oh yea the sweaty selfie is my motivation to never look how I did day 1!

Would Love An Edit Option. I’ve had this app maybe a month! I love the ease of being told what to do, how many reps, and how much weight. I turned on the additional reps option because I personally can’t add too much weight to certain exercises. I like how it gives you a monthly outlook of what days you worked out to really see how often you’re working out. The one thing I REALLY wish would be edited is exactly that - you can’t edit previous workouts!! For example, when you’re tracking a workout, the exercises appear to be swiped up to an additional screen. However if you accidentally swipe down on the screen, it concludes your workout and there is no way to go back and edit or complete your workout. This had led FitnessAI to think I wasn’t able to finish my sets which alters my progression in the app. If this could be changed, it’d be the perfect app!

Great for busy professionals!. Overall I really like this concept. It takes the thinking/planning out of the workout and allows you to get in and out fast. I no longer have to remember what I lifted last time, keep track of my sets or plan a workout. It’s mindless and I can appreciate that with all the other things we need to manage. I’ve been using for a month and a half and sticking to it really works. I am starting to get a little bored w the same three workouts and wish it also included abdominal workouts. And maybe down the road, if there was a way to confirm your finished set by accepting a push notification instead of having to open the app each time would be helpful.

Best progressive overload app I’ve come across. Decent app! I use it each time I go to the gym. Only thing I don’t like is it frequently drops on my Apple Watch and I have to go back in my apps and pull it back up. I’ve also been recently experiencing the rest timer ending without it notifying me on my watch. I also wish I could finish my workout from my watch. Really I only have complaints about the Watch version. I love the way the app automatically progresses my exercises without me having to put any thought into it. I would like to see more exercises added to the library like RDL’s, Single Leg RDL’s, Barbell Hip Thrusts, etc… if they’re there I can’t seem to find them 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Impressive!. I’ve tried a handful of apps where fitness is concerned and will say, hands down, this is by far my favorite. It’s like having personal trainer right there in the gym with me every morning. I don’t have to think about what muscle groups to focus on because the plan is already made for me. I do t have to track when to increase my difficulty because it does it for me. Lastly, I love the tutorial for each new task. There were many I was hesitant to try because I wasn’t sure what the proper form looked like and didn’t want to injure myself. You make this so easy for me and I appreciate it!

Best workout app there is. Definitely one of the best apps for working out. It’s really good if you’re new to working out and I really like how it’s very easy to follow and it pushes you to do your best and increase your performance. I love that it gives me everything I need to do such as the workout itself, the amount of reps and weight I need to do and then it’ll adjust each time you do that workout afterwards. You can also customize your workouts and change it up if you don’t have a certain machine or you just don’t feel comfortable doing a certain exercise. Overall 100% one of the best apps I’ve ever gotten.

Great addition to my workouts. I was getting tired of my workout routine when I stumbled across this app. It’s been a great addition to my rotation. I love the wide variety of exercises it has and the way it keeps progressing to help you reach your goals. But at the same time you always have the option to customize to fit your needs. I also really like the ability to chat with a coach. At first I thought it might be a kind of auto-response robo-chat, but it’s not! My one critique is I would have appreciated a kind of tutorial to walk through the app, particularly when you’re doing a workout. I had no idea how much info was available, like instructions on how to do the exercise, bc I just never scrolled down.

Best Workout App I've Ever Used. This app is EXACTLY what I needed! I've always focused on cardio and was never able to get into strength training because I didn't know where to start but this app has changed my life! It literally does the thinking for you BUT you're still in control if weight training comes easy to you. You plug in your information and your workout preferences and your workout is created. And they couldn't have made it any easier to track your weight used and reps so you can see your progress. I'm not gonna lie I was worried about the price and I almost passed this up but I decided to give the free trial a shot and I fell in love with the app!!! I don't usually leave reviews but I felt this app definitely deserved 5 stars!!!

Sketchy support.. feels like a scam. Don’t get me wrong, I really like this app and would love to continue using it. But when it comes to different subscription options, it feels like a scam. The App Store lists all the options but they’re nowhere to be found when signing up. You either pay for an entire year, or get nothing. I contacted support and they sent me instructions to change the subscription. Again, no options to change it anywhere on their website or in the app. Even during the free trial. I want this app but don’t want to pay over $100 at once for a year. I don’t know, it seems like false advertising so they can get as much money as possible with little to no support.

Excellent workout APP. My son told me to download this app because he is enjoying every minute of this work out so I did. I am 56 years old and let me tell you I love the workouts on this program allows me to adjust the weights for me to use and as the weeks go by I increase it at my own pace. I know I have no doubt that by the end of mySubscription I will see a huge difference on my bodyAnd will reach my goals.I recommend this work out for any age group. Thanks to my son I’m glad that I did download it bc I LOVE IT!A personal trainer is very expensive I’ve been there. This app not only gives you the workouts that you are looking for but has a great Supportive team standing by to answer any questions that you may have.

Forget Fitbod and bodbot!. This app is by far more realistic to my goals. I’ve tried other apps like Fitbod and bodbot, but they don’t match FitnessAI. If your looking for more of a muscle building or “bodybuilding” type program this is much better than the other apps. FitnessAI actually give you the option on the percentage rate you would like to rotate exercises in the routine Fitbod constantly changes your exercises which makes it a little difficult to make gains. Fitbod also places iso exercises in low rep high weight areas like lateral raise which will more than likely annihilate your shoulders in a bad way. FitnessAI has a much better structure to there programs. I’m lovin this app!!!

This works for me- beautifully.. I’ve tried a few apps but for over a month I’ve used this one consistently in conjunction with a food/calorie tracking app. This really works! I am a former college athlete that has stagnated for decades due to my crazy work schedule (all shifts) and sedentary job. I’m also the type that does best with someone like a DI or coach pushing me. This app basically does that- without the yelling. Lol I would caution anyone trying it out to lower starting weights to half or even less as the defaults were set to a VERY high weight; however, once you get into the routine and set the weights to where you can accomplish all the sets and reps, the program WILL start increasing the difficulty gradually. Combined with smart eating, I have lost over 25# in a relatively short time and I have yet to plateau. My resting heart rate has also decreased by an average of 10 beats/min even though I was already in the “healthy” range. Most gyms no longer have charts or filing cabinets so the added advantage is that the program remembers your weights and, at the same time, demonstrates PROPER technique. Stay safe all and keep at it!

Does NOT support family sharing!. A really cool app that I use every workout. I’m new to the gym and this app really helps me with planning and executing my workouts and also tracking! I liked it so much that I went ahead and got their annual membership for about $50 a year. One of the things that I do not like is that they falsely advertise on the App Store that the app supports family sharing. That was one of the reasons the subscription was worth it to me as I my family members wanted to use this app too but couldn’t pay $50-$100 each (depending on what deal the app offered). So that was definitely a bummer as I am trying to convince my siblings to use this app. So keep that in mind. Otherwise a great and insightful app especially for a beginner!

Needs work. I’m a little torn on this rating because my complaints are niche, but fairly severe. I’ll start with the positives. The UI/UX are slick. Logging is simple and creating new exercises is trivial. The progressive load logic is actually pretty great despite my skepticism. Now the cons. Though you can adjust any particular recommended workout to include or swap muscle groups or exercises, it seems the algorithm is programmed around a four day muscle group split, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to change that so that it generates recommendations in a preferred rotation of muscle groups. The other one is how sessions are logged is problematic if you’re someone who works out close to midnight. Sets are logged at the time they are recorded, which makes sense. But unfortunately sessions end up getting split, so it’ll show a session or workout as incomplete if you happen to start before midnight, and finish after. I don’t know what kind of impact this has on their algorithm or recording (I suspect there is none, actually) but it’s pretty jarring and even a little discouraging that you don’t get to see your workout “complete” All this said, their support is very responsive and I do hope they fix this because it’s stopping what is otherwise a great logging app from becoming my goto.

Great tool to make progress. Use to randomly jump on equipment and do 3 reps of 10 on whatever. With the app I am now going in with purpose and leaving the gym feeling accomplished and beginning to see changes after using three weeks. My wife is also using and she too is showing positive changes. This is a great app to learn new workouts while providing alternative work outs if not ready to doing a specific work out. My wish for the app is to graph trends on amount of weight lifting over time as I feel on some muscles I am progressing faster than others. It’s a game changer for my wife and I and could not see going to the gym without it

Love the versatility. I really like that it tells you how much you should be lifting along with the stats of the average weight other people are doing. It really gives you a sense of where you are at, which other apps don’t provide. Also it is super easy to tailor your workout if you don’t like an exercise or if the weight is too much and the app learns from it. Lastly, I like the built in timer between sets. All of the along with the instructions and video on how to do an exercise, it really dummy proofs lifting for beginners and has a huge variety of exercises for those who have lifted for a while and want to mix things up.

Great for beginner on up. I have always been a cardio person, never really lifted weights but know that it’s something I should be doing so about a month ago I downloaded a few different weightlifting apps and decided to try each of them. This is the third app that I’ve tried and love it! The others were good but this one is easier to follow, shows each move, gives a suggested weight, let’s you choose an alternative if needed and is just great for tracking making it (in my opinion)the better of the three. Having been totally new to the weight area of the gym this app helps me feel more confident in knowing what to do.

It’s ok but could be great. When I first got this app I thought it was awesome, but after a while I've realized how much is missing here. A lot of the workouts are confusing when it comes to reps / each side. A lot of the workouts that you think a rep should count after left and right side have been used, but only some of them say, example; “10 reps each side”… some editing needs to be done. Another feature that needs to be added is a custom part. There’s many workouts that are not on here. I think you should be actively adding more workouts here to make people at least think this place is fresh. For example; “this weeks new workouts, or hot workouts (x) people are using”…. There should be a submission section and users would feel like they are part of a growing app. I enjoy the app and it’s helped me set goals/ keep track/ learn routines, but (like many others are stating), I’m having to not do workouts that I know - but aren’t on here to keep my progress. Hope this review gets noticed would like to keep using after a little over a year, but if the app is dead in the water I won’t be renewing.
