Crashes writing Hello World scripts. I have the pro version, and the app crashes constantly just typing basic scripts. It seems to randomly latch on to certain variable names and crash any time you type that variable name. The only way to temporarily fix the app is to restart your device. Haven’t gotten the app to work for more than 30 minutes consecutively.

Crashing. You can find lots of feedback online regarding Pyto crashing in many different ways. Right out of the gate, it crashed as I opened a file thru Working Copy (git), and immediately it lost knowledge about the 3~days trial and I had to accept the trial once again. A couple of files later it locked up, and I had to restart it. It now regularly crashes when a file is opened from Working Copy, sometimes the file is not opened in the Pyto editor, and sometimes Pyto crashes when executing a script. This is way too unstable for my (any?) use. And note, I don’t mind paying for the pro version, but an app, especially an editor, needs to be rock stable for practical uses, functionality is worth nothing in a constantly crashing app. Final comment: my iOS is fully up-to-date, was rebooted and I am using latest Pyto version. The app also crash in multiple ways. I don’t think this is a single minor bug fix, rather a fundamental problem that will require a ground up redesign of the app before it can stabilize.

Works as promised. Initially encountered error on iPad when I tried to run template programs. Restarting the app fixed the issue and now I am able to see charts etc.

Well done app!. One of the better apps for python. IT is a little more complicated to use than I would expect, so some videos on how to really use it would be awesome.

Love the app. Bugs happen. Where to report them?. I really like this app. I write Python for machine learning applications for a living and having this tool on my iPhone and iPad 4 mini has become a true delight. I've encountered a weird problem with loading csv files. I have many csv files for testing a program, which I load one at a time. Some load but most are viewed by Pyto as nonexistent. I've deleted and recreated them multiple times without success. Where do I report errors like this? Not to bring completion to the discussion but I've also been using Pythonista3. I'm disappointed that they have far less module and library support than Pyto but I have no issue loading csv files as I need to. Only saying I know it's not the files. Help :) The fact that Pyto seems more concerned about delivering comprehensive functionality makes me smile for sure. Keep it up :). I'll remain loyal !

instability. good app for coding but its really unstable, there are frequents crashes and you can even be locked out because the app repeatedly crashes upon opening, i rebooted and the problem was still there and i had to delete and reinstall, some parts of the app is also slow like dragging the console log up and down which takes forever. I bought this to learn python but its giving me a hard time.

Very good. Doesn’t offer quite the same or as many options as pythonista, and it’s a bit clunkier, but this supports local files much better. Also collects no data, so automatically 5 stars for that alone nowadays.

Annoying autocomplete. Overall I like the app. Really wish I could shut off the autocomplete. I spend so much time fixing the mess it creates. I just want one option to shut off the autocomplete, autoindent, autobraces, autoquotes, and anything else that the editor wants to type for me.

Works well when it works. The app does everything it is supposed to, but it constantly crashes due to "keyboard error". It happens probably every other time I run a script. Very annoying.

Excellent Pyto support. I had a few questions related to reading files and the developer responded within a day. This program is getting better with every update. Keep up the great work!

Works as intended again. Love this app I just wish it had more compatibility with some libraries but I won’t hold it against this app. Works perfect with most libraries

Thanks for the BIG Update!!!. Finally, you guys update the latest Python 3.10 version and you guys are the only “Python app” that have the latest version. Also, can you devs add machine learning and data science frameworks such Tensorflow, PyTorch, Theano, Keras, etc…. It would be great if you can more powerful functionality!!!

Package installation no longer works, project looks dead. This used to be a pretty good, if somewhat quirky python environment for iOS. Unfortunately, package installation no longer works, attempting to install any extra python packages just hangs. Looking at the github repo for this project I see the last commit was in July 2022. This is starting to look abandoned. I can’t recommend this to anyone atm. Would be happy to revise my review if/when a new version comes out.

I wish I could give it more.. Using it on my Mac has been so hit and miss. SIOmetimes I can open and run previous written programs, and then other times I open the same program and it is blank. There is no pattern to this. It is not a reliable app for the comp.

Great. I just bought the 9.99$ version and so far I have not had any problems, it ran everything. It’s totally worth it if you use your iPad a lot.

Seems to work great!. I seem to default to Pythonista but that usually is missing modules I need. So Pyto is here to the rescue! I just wish I could load photos without cropping them but it’s a small issue

Great app. I used to use Pythonista, but it seems support for that has been abandoned. Pyto on the other hand has updates all the time (it’s also open-source so I doubt it’ll ever go stale if it becomes popular enough). Pyto can still run all my old/Pythonista scripts just fine. It also has OpenCV which, admittedly, I haven’t used on my iOS devices yet, but what an awesome lib to have included! TL;DR: Great app. Lotsa updates. Great set of libraries. 5 stars

I like this app. i like to use it, i learn a lot (for me) about programming. But you ask, why 4? Because (or i don't understand something) when i want to stop program when its going, it dont stop. I click the square button, but it still square. Please, fix that, or explain how to stop

Wants me to Re-purchase. I purchased Pyto on June 18, 2019. It worked great until about a week ago when it refused to run because it said I had not purchased it. Supposedly this bug was fixed 9 months ago. The author states that a refund will be made if you purchase it a second time. I won't purchase a second time. How do I know I can trust the author to give me a refund when they can't (or won't) fix the bug? I am very disappointed.

Best way to learn Python and develop on the go. Excelente app, but the best part is that the developer is always responding to the users requests or comments, correcting issues and making improvements.

Disappointed heart break. I was really sold on this app and wanted it to work for me so bad. It has so much potential in the light of Pythonista. It’s a shame Pythonista has been left to die. I love that this app gives you access to all the PyPI modules. The world is your oyster, with a big BUT. The but is that although this app has a lot of potential it is extremely buggy. I tried working with it and kept reloading my script or force quitting the app and reloading it. It just gets old real quick and it becomes quite evident you can not rely on this app at all. I feel heartbroken, I will have to go back to Pythonista and hope one day this app get out of beta stage. I paid for the full app of PyTo. That will be my contribution and hope one day I can leave Pythonista for a polished version of PyTo. Cheers.

User unfriendly. I want to be able to edit files on my computer, AirDrop them to my iPad, edit them there, send them back. When I AirDrop a Python file over, it won’t let me edit it—I have to go through the pointless step of copying and pasting the text into a new document before it compiles. If there’s a bug, because I am not perfect, and I correct it, the compile button disappears. I haven’t figured out how to get it back and I think I have wasted enough time on this app.

Needs more frequent updates!. This app is top tier if it would support more common libraries. Pythonista is the only app that comes to this app. Has the best integration into shortcuts and runs smooth and fast. The dubugger looks native to iOS, 5 stars Once this app is updated to support more libraries.

Recent update was horrible. I have a script that takes a manual input which used to work perfectly - it runs smoothly and typing the input was just as easy as typing in the iOS Notes app. The recent update makes the typing experience horrible - the cursor works properly only on inputs written in alphabets. It also seems to take much longer to execute than before.

Very good with mobile. This app works really well with my iPad that I use for programming. Now I am able to program on the go!

Great, if it worked offline.. First of all, regarding the title, this app works well, but it has an odd habit of asking me to purchase it— again, even though I’ve already purchased it. I need to restore the purchase by going online, which is an issue on my ipad. Other than that, feels professional. It’s easy enough to navigate tabs (I just wish you could go up the file tree), and it lets you make projects— not just single files— and structure them. Feels almost like a desktop application! Since I have a bluetooth keyboard, works even better. The only problem I have, again, is the restore purchase issue which is annoying, especially since it happens every time I open the app. I will update this review if it’s fixed.

What happened?!. This used to be a great app. Now, if it runs scripts at all, it may run one—at most two—before the run button stops working and/or the console panel comes up blank. Sometimes closing the app and restarting helps—but only for one or two executions—and sometimes it doesn’t. My version is up to date. I have also removed and reinstalled with no improvement in performance.

Works well. Updated Review: When I first used the app, it would not run even the most simple script. A day later, there was an update, so I gave it a second try. I immediately saw the difference. When you first start the app, the interpreter starts up and tells you the version of python installed (the usual), something that did not happen the first time. I was able to run scripts using NumPy and pandas without any issues. The interface could still use some work though, other than that it is a great app. Initial Review: This app cannot even run a simple python script: print(‘does this even work?’), let alone be used with pandas or NumPy. Plus, the GUI is also very, very basic. Don’t waste your money.

Great app great dev. Pyto works great. I’ve had it for a year or two I think so this rating is long over due. Beautiful interface, works offline, just get it. Check out the others devs work

Spectacular. This an absolute must have for coders on the go. I am incredibly impressed with how many packages come built into the application. I’m sure you already have plans to do this, but if you could add nltk and maybe tensorflow in the future that would be awesome. Keep up the great work! I will be using this a ton 👌😏

Awesome, but have question. Totally worth the 10 bucks, but question: can I open/read other files on this mobile app? I tried: open(“6.py”, “r”) But open didn’t highlight in another color.

Good python interpreter with up to date, python 3.8.. I choose Pyto over the pythonista, yet I found out the bug that, If you use short cut ‘CMD + D’ in consecutively for twice, the app crashes (turn itself off, kicking me out to the home screen). Plz fix this bug.

That three day trial got me hooked. I have to say, hands down, the best python coding app on iOS. I used the three day free trial because I had a sudden urge to learn python and it got me hooked. I know coding is easier on the computer, but when I’m trying to multi-task it’s really nice to be able to attend an online coding class and just follow along on my phone! Great app, and I highly recommend getting it!

THE BEST. I do a lot of web development and hate carrying my big laptop with me so this makes everything easier now that I only need my iPhone and maybe my iPad making this the best alternative to vscode on IOS

Pay once, use for life. Yes, it isn't free but it lets you use it for 3 days before you decide Works great with shortcuts and widgets Don't hate the app for being paid, the dev deserves the money

Great app although small issues. Tried to print something and it is not even able to do that. Furthermore It keeps asking me to purchase the app again when i already paid. It pressed restore but its still not compiling anything. After a restart everything is working. Strange how that occured

Need better user experience design. The user experience is a bit confusing and not that clear. I like the functionality though but needs some time too figure out where to do what and what is available and what is not. I bought this as part of the package, the price is good but the user experience needs re-thinking.

Version 11.8 is completely broken. I just updated. Now I can’t open any existing files from any location. The REPL spits a dozen error messages when I tap on the expression entry field. Running a one-line Hello World script takes many seconds to compile and then spits a dozen unrelated errors about Matplotlib. How did this get past testing before you released?? Pythonista does not have these kinds of quality problems. Their releases are solid. Every time.

PLEASE ADD SELENIUM MODULE SUPPORT!!!. THIS APP IS 🔥🔥🔥 I love the app, the IDE is better than most desktop applications — and over the course of only a few months they have added some fantastic modules - the developer is excellent and the support for this app is unmatched. I only wish that they added: * Selenium Support. (I think all it needs is a WebDriver) * A support Discord for users of the app. (this would make the app’s support great (realtime)) * An autofill feature (like PyCharm) These are only mere suggestions and would make this app become the best it can be, but again I want to reiterate that this app is AWESOME and THE best currently available for IOS. Carson

Excellent App for on the go developers.. I have been using this app for a few months now and it makes my job much easier. Best app I’ve used for developing on the go.

Super Buggy. This app is super buggy and crashes every time I run it. And I can’t seem to get any of the visualization libraries to render to the screen. I like the concept and it would be totally worth the $10 if I could get things to work right but I think there needs to be some more work done on it before charging that much.

Pre-Sale Question. Hi, I would love to give the app 5 stars but I have a pre-sale question. The trial period was only for 3 days. First, thank you for a trial period, but for working people, 14 days should be a minimum. I download the app last Sunday. I had a very busy week. I never had a chance to try it until this weekend. I never got to evaluate it. I went to the app website but their was no support or contact us page. I thought I’d try asking the question here. I use Pythonista. I love it. But, it’s limited. I’m working on a project that involves Django. Pythonista dosn’t natively support Django. I have to install stash. Which does work. But is quite buggy. Does Pyto allow for Django development?

Django console. It’s an interesting app and fun to play with. One thing I noticed is a lack of documentation, but I may not be understanding the bigger picture. Also the server console doesn’t show anything until I exit and re-enter.

Great app overall. This is a pretty good app for automations and such. However, it would be nice if there was a way to create an image from html and display as a widget. It would get rid of a massive learning curve and allow for better widget customization. I don’t know the limits on this or even begin imagining how this could be implemented, but it’s just an idea.

Good start. Hasnt been updated for a year. Wish this was really supported more! Videos on how to make apple watch apps / ipad apps / mac desktop apps. The list could be endless. any chance a new version is coming out with better tutorials?

Excellent Python IDE. This is currently the best choice if you want an up-to-date Python and the latest libraries on your iPad. This app is Open Source from a talented young programmer. It’s unlikely it gets abandoned like the other Python IDE. Well done.

Impressive. Prior to finding Pyto, I would often plug a Raspberry Pi into my iPad or resort to SSHing into a remote machine for Python3 development. I tried some other “on-iPad” Python solutions, but they all felt kludgey or were missing key Libraries I needed like Pillow, or numpy. What really won me over though, was the developer’s approach to creating this app and some of his others. Development is very open. You can visit the project’s GitHub page to learn more or potentially even contribute packages or bug-fixes. Well done!

Looks Like a Great App. Just did the 3-Day Trial and from a few initial tests looks well worth the $9.99. For anyone familiar with Python, this is far superior to any of the calculator or math apps available. Appears to be limited to the IDLE shell as the default, which is acceptable, but will try installing iPython for a greatly improved experience.

Showing your project 🤔. So I installed this excited to program a game and there was absolutely a horrible UI with crashes and most of all - No live view. This software is not good for game development and if its not supposed to be used for game development please tell me so im not wasting my time.

Nope. Better read.. No reply from Dev. The free trial part you have to do to even see the app has no way to cancel and the “contact” button doesn’t work and there are no shortcuts keys above the normal keyboard almost impossible to use. I had to get Apple support involved and they’re watching charges for me so they can refund when this hits. Do not download unless you want me to say I told you so.

Crashes repetitively. The app was repetitively crashing when performing a while loop. I also found that indenting was hard to do due to the lack of a complimentary “indent left” button.

⭐️ Great App ⭐️. This is the best python app I have ever seen, would really recommend this for someone coding in python!

Cannot install 3rd party packages. whenever i got to install PyPi packages it freezes, or at least the ones I want to use. in particular "numbers-parser" It doesn't even say what is happening it just hangs and you have to restart the application.

Amazing for developers. I’m a big developer with python and this amazing IDLE is just so useful for beginners on iOS platform thank you developer. But if you could make this free it would be great

Did not update frequently, not enough features. Did not update frequently, not enough 3rd party python packages!

Wonderful. This is the best app that I have so far in terms of productivity :D

Great app. Best app ever, allow you to test out code on the go.... Great fro learning python

How to manual download packages? I want to install tkinter but it doesn’t work in PyPI. As titled

Crashes on iPad Pro. App is unusable. Repeatedly crashes when trying to use the PyPi interface.

Great app but has a couple of issues.. Loves to crash often, but otherwise it works AMAZINGLY well. Easily the best and most versatile iOS Python IDE, and supports almost every PyPi package. Couldn't recommend more over any other, would give 5 stars if it didn't crash so much.

Pros and Cons with this one but it’s good. Works well for some projects and some other projects it doesn’t (mainly due to certain libraries) as oppose doing it on a MacBook where you are do some more better. The app itself is visually appealing. I do love I can use shortcuts with this because I love my shortcuts and now I do some awesome things.

Unusable UI. Access to a reasonable suite of packages is not helpful when the editor is useless and the ap crashes constantly.

Avoid. Very suspicious network connections and analytics reports coming from this app. The apps developer also openly has (rather poorly concealed) connections and shared code with known hackers on GitHub

No longer works. This app used to work well, and made it easy to customise shortcuts. Now not even a hello world or the examples provided in app will run. Disappointing to have paid for this and now the app is unmaintained.

Great but editor is buggy. The app works great: contains pretty all of the most popular packages (numpy, scipy, pandas, etc). But please fix the editor interface! When I am editing the code, the bottom of the code editor does not rise to above the keyboard interface, hence I cannot see the bottom of the editor when the keyboard is up. I am using iPhone 6s. Please fix ASAP! (25/08/2020)

OpenCV WORKS!. Was wondering if this was possible, and amazingly enough it actually is. Fantastic app, runs super smoothly despite a somewhat old phone (iPhone 6), and great to have iCloud Drive integration and offline storage options. Would love to see a dark mode for the whole app instead of just the editor, to reduce the eye strain when I’m using this at night (seems to be implemented for iOS 13, but not iOS 12). Have had a couple of crashing issues when typing quickly, but not sure if that’s autocompletion being overworked or my phone just not dealing with the memory load or something. Can’t wait to explore this more, particularly the user I/O side of things to see what’s available!

Unusual Network Activity and Background Activity. Even when the Pyto app is not open and not being used is has a lot of background activity and network traffic - including to Hong Kong - and I’m in Australia. What’s the go with that Pyto?

Good but issues. This is a great platform to write code on an iPad, and use in shortcuts. Terrible at crashing, and loses code often. Will often lose large chunks of code just by switching between apps. Not great for a paid app.

It’s useless without paying. I trust that it’s an awesome app however using it without paying for the full version is basically a waste of storage. You cant tun python scripts without buying it - so it’s just a text editor with generic syntax highlighting unless you pay

Crashes every 30 seconds. Every time i try to edit my code or write new code, about 20 seconds in it’ll shut down and quit. And i have to re open and it wont have anything saved. It’s crashed 7 times on me in the past 15 minutes. This needs to be fixed please. Otherwise great app.

Y u do dis?. I’m not giving you my credit card number. You’re app is just gonna charge me a “cancellation fee” or something after day 3 and the only way to stop you from taking my money is to cut my cards up and move to Cambodia

fun. This is nice, a good complement to Pythonista. What I wish : • the auto-completion is not always reliable, sometimes it suggests what I defined above, sometimes not • I downloaded Python Libraries from Pyto but Pyto does not seem to see them... • this command crashes and this makes me sad : from sklearn import datasets digits = datasets.load_digits() • selecting text does not work 90% of the time. I click a first time. I click a second time. The "select" button appears. I click the select button. Nothing happens. I try again. Nothing. Again. Nothing. And it starts to rain and the wind pushes empty garbage bags in the street. I try once more at an other place. It works. Yes. But I know that in 10 minutes it won't. • dealing with CSV files? How do I import them?

Misleading. It actually costs money to use, they slap a 3 day trial on you

Incredibly Useful. Amazing App

Perfect, very very perfect for those who are learning python.. Just please continue supporting it for your own sake and not for us. So that you won’t be tempted to add some sort of a subscription feature. Also, can you add some shortcuts on top of the keyboard. Having to type () and and some other symbols are really tedious on a mobile keyboard.

Watch out the 3 day trial. I was expecting the three days trial to be free until I unexpectedly receive an 16,09 $ bill. Had to get reimbursed. Would not recommend

Great for learners. I’m learning python for data science, and used Pythonista for the basics until I needed things like pandas and seaborn. This app lets me install these packages and more, which allows me to practice coding on the go.

Not free. It is download free, but you have to pay when you open the app.

Hmmm. Don’t let us try for free

Best python IDE for iOS. This app is amazing for what it offers, it has pretty much everything you need to code semi-complex python projects on the go. The Pyto UI module is very useful for small projects when writing a native app would be overkill. One thing I wish was there is the ability to turn off word wrap though

Terminal not showing. Downloaded this and pay for full access but terminal is not working. Hope dev can fix this.

New Paywall. It was great until a paywall was introduced. Now it’s entirely unusable without a subscription.

Bloatware Scam Crap Gargabe - REQUIRES CREDIT CARD. “Free app” that needs payment to function. Useless.

Latest update improves things. Less crashes now Nice for a product with good potential

Trash. This app is a waste of space. You cannot do anything without buying anything!

Paid only. Paid only app now. Disappointing.

After I updated. The top menu disappears when I open a script. Can't run or change between files.

Pay to use fake reviews. This app is pay to use. And is boosted with fake reviews. Instead of subscribing to the developer just use an online free python cli (there are many just google). Happy coding!

This aint it chief. You're probably looking for a way to use Python locally on an iPad. This is not the app for you. The UI is confusing as hell and I can't figure out how to run a REPL without using Shortcuts. That would be fine if there was any documentation, but there is almost nothing. The app is not built with iOS-style permissions in mind, and I find it difficult to know where my work is being saved. I would recommend a few apps instead of this one, depending on what you want. If you need on-device Python, use Juno and work in a Jupyter notebook. If you need a terminal with Python, use a-Shell and have fun working around iPadOS's restrictions. If you want to actually get work done on an iPad, I'd recommend using Tailscale and Blink Shell to remote into a different computer and work on the command line. It's way more work to set up, but it's actually designed to function and it's battle-tested. Whatever you do, this is not the app for you unless you just want to mess around. Don't even try to do your job in this, you'll just hate yourself.

Can’t access the app without having to pay. Who pays for something you can do completely for free on a computer

Great app. Pyto is helping to open up the iPad to serious computing. The more I use it the more I like its design. Easy to install pure python modules like sympy. I hope everything will be kept up to date and if possible scipy would be nice. Thanks! Also could you make your comment toggle work for a multi-line selection? And could it deal with ‘# ‘ instead of or as well as ‘#’?

Cant cancel the 3 day trial. Hack!!! Impossible to cancel no where on the app store neither the app

Sus 🧐. Need to pay, just let us do our job! No one wants 3 day trial

Good in general, but a critical functionality missing. It’s pretty good in general, However, the Pyto folder does not accept common external file types such as .CSV and .TXT which means you cannot read or write external file using Python. The ability to read external file is critical for fundamental data science and scientific computation. I really want to love this app but the missing ability makes it hard to recommend if you want to perform meaningful real life work.

I tried it and it’s great. However I wished there was a free version of this

Can’t launch. Too buggy to be a release.. I can’t believe this is a production version. It launched once and that was it. I’ve not been able to get it to run ever since. Conceptually this is a good app but until the developer fixes its issues I will not be using it or changing my review.

DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY. You have to pay a subscription service to use this app. Dumbest thing in the world. Doesn’t even work half the time. Super glitchy. Stay away. 90% of the free IDE’s for your phone are just as good if not better. Stay away.

Terrible. It makes you pay to use it just make the app cost money why cant yall understand how to think dont play this

It’d be great if it didn’t crash all the time. latest version of everything on iPhone 11 Pro. Crashes randomly and constantly, still find it useful as a python learner, but frustrating

Crashes. On iPhone 12 mini. Crashes during coding. In IDE console, click settings on bottom right, freezes, crashes.

Great App. This is a great app. I’d give it 5 stars if i could run Django. It’s so close to what i need.

Wish i could give lower than 1 star. This app is not learner friendly and buy it only if you have some experience in this language. Some of the functionality fails for no reason and hard even to debug the function. At least provide free version so we can try before making a purchase

Less of a IDE and more of just a text editor. Doesn’t really auto fill text or anything just lets you type

Running Libraries. I have tried running examples from matplotlib and numpy libraries but it doesn’t seem to work for me! Can I get some help regarding this! I have bought the whole application

Importing homemade modules. Hello, I enjoy the app so far. It definitely has a ton of included libraries. I am having issues attempting to import from homemade modules for some reason. When running something like: from modules import occurance_module With the modules directory located ./modules the program fails with a ModuleNotFound Exception. Is there a fix for this I am missing?? Thank you very much!

Only 1 complaint. How do i turn line wrap off???? Please reply. Thanks :)

Upgraded and Deleted Entire Script. Within 15 minutes of upgrading to the full version, I started experiencing bugs and frequent crashes. All of a sudden, the script that I had been working for days on was completely deleted and is now blank.

Overall great but…matplotlib kills it. The new improvements are really awesome. The only thing is, matplotlib crashes the app with a Sigbrt error which makes visualization impossible without installing other libraries.

Crashes constantly. I'll make a slight change like deleting 3 characters and the app will stop working. When I go to run nothing happens and I have to close the app and open to test any change made.

Choosing this over Pythonista. This app is great so far, version of python up to date and run most python modules. Great job and good Docs. In all honesty some room for improvement on the UI

Great Python app, BUT…. Is it possible to create/use external sequential files, OR to use SQLite? I will appreciate your help!

Excellent support. The user interface and the documentation is rather inferior but under the hood the engine rocks. Developer support is unprecedented - a reported issue was corrected in a day.

Purchase popup. Constant nag to purchase, can’t even see if I want to buy the app. Seems promising otherwise.

REPL: NameError: name '_' is not defined. I downloaded this because python is my favorite calculator, but this REPL implementation doesn't allow you to use '_' to reference the last result.

I own this app. I bought this app on my iPad (works great) and I downloaded it on my iPhone but it wants me to repurchase even though it’s the same apple account….. and it already says I purchased the full version….

Pandas ftw. UX needs refinement. A customized dev focused keyboard like other IDEs would help a lot. Overall, good functionality, and great features (Pandas!). Looking forward to seeing where development of this app leads.

Can’t Use. So, on a computer, Python is free, yet on a tablet, which is more convenient, you have to pay? That’s just redundant. Python isn’t worth it. It’s not worth Any stars.

Paid for the full app in 2019 and it is asking me to buy again. Paid for the full app in 2019 and it is asking me to buy again

keep asking to purchase the app. the purchase is already in process and the app still asking to purchase… I can’t open the app unless I paid again…

VIRUS ALERT. I used this app and some of the depreciates they use are not stable. There are vulnerabilities that have and are being exploited. Beware of the 3rd party modules. Even the ones that come pre-installed.

Paywall. App could be good, I haven’t used it because after I downloaded it I was instantly greeted with a pay wall.

Very Buggy. Crashes constantly on iPhone 12.

Nitr0h. You might as well just make the app cost money instead of preventing me from even opening it until I pay.

Not full python implementation. I got an error when calling a class from a class, the inner class’s __init__ was not fired to initialize the inner class, resulting in an object error. Other aspects of the app are great.

Terrible. I open the app just to not be able to use it because you have to pay????? Why not just advertise it so then people know before downloading people nowadays are so brain dead

Installed the app on trial basis. I installed this on a trial basis two days ago. Did not like it and uninstalled. I could not find a place to cancel the trial. I guess I just have to hope they won’t charge me.

No true free option. Allows three days of use then you have to pay or the app becomes useless.

Can’t install packages, console stays blank when I try. I need to use pandas to read an excel file and I cannot because it is missing a dependency. I cannot install the dependency (xlrd) because the console stays blank when I try to install it.

Trying it out. Would really like to see altair module on here!

Subscription. it is not possible to understand your application how to cancel the subscription! How to do it ?!

Money. Tbh i dont know what to rate this on because why do you have to pay money just to use the app, i know another app thats free.

Can’t write a text/ cvs file !!!!!!. App works great but one disadvantage is the fact that you can not write a text/ cvs file. Very inconvenient

.. It does everything PyCharm does for me on my desktop. Truly makes the iPad a laptop replacement.

No access to microphone.. I wanted to detect loud noise. But unfortunately there is no access to iOS microphones.

3 day trial scam. They give you the choice to select 3-day trial but the purchase will not show up on the phone so that you can’t cancel it before the trial ends so they end up charging you without the option to ever cancel!!! Stay away

Because I have. I think the only thing that is

Keep crashing. The app keep crashing even though I’m running the latest version of IOS and reinstalled the app. It’s happening every second or third time that I execute a program. Quite disappointed with this purchase.

Yea I’m curious if I’m able to download packages for the terminal.. I can’t find anything online that allows support for adding a package and not having basics like wget is pretty annoying. I see that you have a list of built ins but no way to add? Why?

Paid the $10 now I’m going to ask for a refund. It’s a piece of junk If the app was free then sure but to have the nerve to charge for something that crashes running the simplest script is ridiculous!!

Question. Hey i installed this app today but i wanted to ask if we can use pyautogui here and of so how can i enable it

You have to either pay immediately or pay 3 days later. You have to either pay immediately or pay 3 days later… Dude, you call it free? What a joke!

So far, so good.. I bought the lite version. This is because i really don't need the extra libraries. I love plain Python and love working with it.

How do I do things?. I wouldn’t be surprised if this were a fantastically capable program, but there is not even the most rudimentary documentation about what the individual programs do or how I use Pyto to create and run scripts.

App will not restore. I bought the full features app. However I ran into issues where importing Pandas would continually fail. I deleted and attempted to reinstall the app. However I can not restore the app and am stuck on the Welcome to a Pyto page and cannot use the app.

Pyto - Python 3 App Customer Service, Editor Notes:

Fixed an issue showing the purchase screen for people who have purchased Pyto when it was paid upfront. This was caused by the revocation of a certificate bundle within the app itself. If you have purchased it again as an In App Purchase, please request a refund to the App Store (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204084), this was not intended and I am very sorry for the inconvenience.
