Collects data. The App Store page says that this app does not collect data but the very first time you open it you are greeted with a standard privacy policy discussing the collection of data, which I would be fine with if not for the part where they said they didn’t collect data. Lying is a bad way to start any relationship business or otherwise.

Needs update / crashes / won’t load. Hey Wang, please can you fix the bugs on this otherwise useable app? Please!! It now constantly crashes and refuses to load. I am not on Facebook so this is my only method of contacting you? I just need this app to work :/ iPhone 7 iOS 13.2. Thanks

Terrible app. Terrible app, most features do not work unless all you want to do is print. Took my 3 dollars and doesn’t do anything.

It’s ok but,. This app doesn’t really “teach” you the coding language. You will have to buy an external book to learn coding while using this app. Also it doesn’t tell you what the features are when you buy the unlock features...

Can’t open on my iPad. Why will this not work on my IPad

Disappointed. I first downloaded the app with the hopes I could practice my coding on the go. My first problem was when I would add In-code comments. The app would freeze and completely close. I thought okay, maybe I’m pushing the basic version of the app to much. I purchase the add-on features. There is no difference. It was the worse $6 I have ever spend. There is nothing I can do and I would honestly appreciate if the developers gave me my money back. The lag on this app is insane and it doesn’t always follow through with standard indentation.

Not so good after all. When I first got this app, the app seemed good. I also thought it was good! But then, I found out that it can only calculate! Not make animations images, or music! This app was not so good after all....

Paid for the app, now they want a subscription. Glad other IDE’s have popped up since this app’s monopoly began. Seriously asking me to subscribe every single time I run a file? It’s pathetic

Needs more features. Thing number one thing that we NEED is to delete files, I end up with loads of files that I can’t delete. If you can’t do this then please try to make it appear in the files app, this would help loads. Next, I want to know what the in-app purchase gets you. If it doesn’t say then I won’t get it and I doubt many others will to. Last, I noticed that if I type “raise (any error)” it won’t generate an error, this also happens if I type “print(hi)” and “hi” isn’t defined. Please add these features and remove these bugs.

Unstable. Simply put the app is unstable and crashes multiple times in a row rendering it unusable.

Not for IPad. I have this interpreter on my phone and it worked okay. It’s not as good as pycharm on computer but it worked. Now I tried using an iPad Air 4th gen with the apple magic keyboard and it doesn’t allow me to use it to type. When it is fixed I will reevaluate this review.

Changes not disclosed. This latest update removes the ability to us numpy (and other libraries) without first paying the subscription fee. This isn’t documented in the change notes. I understand the reasoning, but disclosing the fact the you lose features would have been appreciated.

I don’t want to get the 1 year subscription. Other than that it’s good.

This is a scam. It doesn’t let you access old codes and scams you when it asks you to pay 3 dollars in order to unlock all functions. Don’t buy this app, better if you just use a computer.

Crashes. It’s a great app in general but for some reason this one ASCII text to binary program that I wrote kept making it crash.

Do not buy ANY apps from Wang Lingling. You can’t even use something as basic as numpy without him wanting to charge for it. Sheesh! Useless app.

Failed to install and run pandas or pathlib. Hey python without pandas is useless! Refund my money

Pay for What. Pay to unlock all functions? That is stratosphericly vague. People have a right to know what they are paying for if you want their money. How do I even know if “BeautifulSoup” or “Pandas” is importable?

Pay for modules. You can’t use modules unless you have the subscription. Not recommended

Crashes too much. The app is nice, it tells you errors when they happen, and you can run scripts. However, after a script is a certain length, after you try to type parameters for a function, it crashes. I haven’t been able to write more than 20 without this problem. As you write more, the app just becomes more and more unstable. I tried pasting from notes to get past the functions problem, but it still crashed after trying that for a few times

Does not work.. I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 12.4.0. When I try to run this app I see a dark splash screen then the app quits.

Add numpy, please. That’s all I’m asking. Other than the missing numpy it works for me.

No for loops. Loops are a big part of python and this app won’t run them!

Garbage and Subscription. Totally not worth paying a yearly subscription. What happen to pay once for an app?

Random crashes. It crashes whenever I type a parenthesis.

Reopened and found random files. Hadn’t used it in a while but redownloaded the app to test out some things and found some new files. FYI I don’t know how to read Chinese characters and one of the python files had an input function with Chinese characters.

Excellent. The app runs great. The only issue is the lack of error messages. It sometimes takes me forever to figure out what the error is, and also makes it hard to test codes when you can’t figure out what parts aren’t working. I really would like to see feedback the same as the desktop version.

Starts off well then…. Starts off well, then starts to display an upgrade screen every time you try to run something.

Terrible app. This app has many bugs on older phones (I use it on an iPhone 6s), like how we cannot even run input commands and to my understanding there is a very small or no module library at all. I’m guessing that the app is just neglected and that these bugs will never get fixed. There are not many features, as I can’t do simple things like deleting files, and the interface is extremely badly made.

Crash the APP. When we write a particular program, APP crashes itself. Frustrating. Also, have a problem with input function.

Good Start, but no support website. This python ide seems like a good start, but after trying the hello world script and you want to know more about the capabilities, there is no place to go. The ‘App Support’ link on Apple’s App Store for the python3ide take you to a broken facebook link. There isn’t even a list of supported modules/packages anyplace nor any way to find out as far as I can tell.

Numpy module. I import the numpy module but when i run it it doesn't give any error. But it doesn't work either

No support... Wasted my money buying this.. There’s no help at all to move forward.. For example, if you want to install packages like Pandas, no way to go ahead

Not great for anyone. I am a novice at coding, but when I tried to do a simple open web browser command it crashed.

Why would I need you if you are a toy!!!. There are so many libraries lock! Pretty useless app. Why would I pay for a toy app? It’s not about money, it’s about attitude. The user interface is not friendly. It’s chaotic. I don’t think I should pay that amount of money for such a unstable and ugly app.

Compatibility? What was even given with unlock?. Input function isn’t working or not compatible with older iphones. No prompts for input, screen just stays white. Saw nothing of value after taking my $3 for the “unlock” feature. One word: garbage. Plenty of better apps out there.

Move images and files into folder?. I really enjoy this app I just wish I could move files into my created folders it would really help out a lot!

Python version upgrade to 3.10. Would probably benefit in many AI applications that use OpenSSL 1.1.1 +

Force Close. iPhone 11 on iOS 13.6. I uploaded a school project I did for my introduction to scripting class (IT-140) and it ran fine until I noticed I forgot to add punctuation to one of my print lines. As I went to edit it, the app forced closed. It force closes instantly any time I try to move my cursor somewhere to edit a line. 1 star until it’s fixed.

Fun toy but don’t pay to unlock. I got to admit this app is the perfect time sink when you want to play with some basic algorithm programming but can’t pull out your laptop. I can say it is better than playing a game on my phone when I am captive with few options. I did pay the 3$ to unlock ‘more functions’ and it did nothing.

Disappointing. I downloaded the app hoping I could practice, I even paid the 2.99, the app just sits there like a lump of coal. Biggest waste of time, money and memory.

Good when it’s not crashing. Crashes constantly and I have no idea why. Couldn’t even make it through an intro to python tutorial.

It’s good.. It’s pretty good, but I would like to see the errors in my program if there is one, right now I can’t tell what’s wrong with my program Becuase I don’t know what’s wrong, I would really like to see error logs so I can debug my program.

Not completely satisfied. Program runs when it wants to and not when you need it to.

Under ok. This app is fine if you just wan to write the code and than save it. Otherwise if you are looking to actually run the program than say goodbye, because it will NOT work.

The app crashes when using Regular Expressions. If I type: re.findall() or any other function after re. The app crashes. Otherwise it’s a good app.

Just garbage. To spare you the download, most code just doesn’t work, even their examples don’t work, bad app and a scam considering you are told paying 4 dollars will unlock functions.

Very helpful but there’s a few things that could be changed. I love the app so much since I can work on codes anywhere, however there are a few things that need work. A. The app crashes a lot, it doesn’t usually get in my way since I can easily just turn it back on and it loads up instantly with the work saved but it’s an inconvenience sometimes B. It would be great if it told you where the errors are so I don’t need to look through 100 lines of code to find a small mistake Other than that the app is great and makes using Python much more convenient.

App becomes unusable at random.... The app will sometimes randomly crash while writing code, and any attempt to open that program or change the code impossible to do before it crashes. I’ve had to delete and reinstall this app about 5 times now because fo this issue, and many programs have been lost because of. Also, because. No error messages are displayed, debugging is incredibly difficult. Say if I wanted to run this code: print(“Hello World) The program would output nothing and give no error message, and I would have to manually find that myself. This is a particular issue in long programs, where a single line like this halts the whole program. This app reads all the code at once before it runs from what I gather, not on a line-by-line basis like most other IDE’s. This means that the whole program doesn’t work, not just everything after the error. In conclusion, the app needs to be fixed so that random crashes won’t occur, and error messages need to be added, or at least some way of knowing where your error is. Something as simple as highlighting the line with the issue is enough.

Coding?. When I was trying to code something it was working fine but after a while it didn’t show up. This is a app for not coding a lot of things. If you want to code something more than 2 lines don’t download this app.

Want to rate it higher. This app has the user interface nailed.it is perfect and so much better than the alternatives. However, it has three major flaws. First, you have no idea what features get unlocked for $3. Second, there are no error messages. If the script can’t ru, it just doesn’t run. Finally, there’s no list of what libraries work, and some basics (urllib) appear to be unsupported. This is a great way to play around with very basic python scripts, but get too far past the basics and you’ll want another app.

Extremely Buggy. I need to close out of a file after running pygame to make edits, and for some reason the app keeps crashing when adding to a certain line of code for some reason. Also remove the payments please, kinda dumb.

The worst update ever. This app is amazing in my view, but the recent update just ruin it, because the features that sometimes very useful got deleted from this update, first was the check mark feature that appeared on your keyboard while you started typing your code, that feature was really useful for those who use phone devices. Second feature was json reading, ever since this update got released, I can’t even read any json files like before. My suggestions would bringing back these two features, beside, some idea about the next versions I would suggest is letting user abled to edit json files or any other files directly like Computer Sources Codes app

Just 2 problems. I found this app very good but it won’t let you import functions and it won’t have a self code editor but I don’t think 2 problems should give it a bad rating but if you make these changes it will delightful

闪退. 我用Python二IDE还挺好的，但是三IDE一直都闪退，搞得我很纳闷，新版不应该比旧版好吗？不过总体来说，我很喜欢二IDE

It’s good but can be better. Love the app just would love a syntax error or something to tell me when my code doesn’t work instead of just getting a blank page and not being able to write it’s frustrating if it’s your first time using the app

Is this an App or an Ad?. The IDE is great and I like the fact that I can import my own functions. However, every time I press the run button, a screen pops up asking for money. Is this an App or an Ad? Also, when I run a program, half the screen is lost to the code. Is there a way to just see the output with nothing else on the screen?

Doesn’t Work Propperly. The app runs programs fine but keeps closing out on me when I try to write code on the app. App also needs a way to delete files. Half of the time it won’t even let me run my program a just gives me a blank screen. Would not recommend downloading.

I love it!. Recently I started to try and learn Python and this is really helping me write code and learn a lot about coding! I think it’s a good app to learn and code! Five stars!

Unstable. App loves to crash if the code you type gets more complex than a few lines. Does not display any traceback errors making debugging a nightmare.
