Grateful for this app!. This app is best-in-class for turning Live photos into videos. I’d been using another app since my 2 year old was born and it involved a lot more scrolling/swiping and a lot less customization options. Now it’s super simple to make a daily “clip reel” for our memory app that the grandparents are addicted to :) Love that you can combine movies, Live photos, and stills. You can tell a lot of care goes into the updates as they come. Keep up the awesome work!

quality. i honestly really like this app, i’ve never came across another that transforms my live phots into videos and that is the biggest plus to me. cool interface and very easy to maneuver. there was something weird happening with uploading my own music from my library, but there is a good selection of music available. all in all, this is a go to for at least cutting and pasting different videos together, 10/10 would bang

Fantastic App. I just downloaded this an hour ago and can tell you I really love it. I needed to clean up a lot of older pictures off my iPhone and yet the backups I’ve made onto other clouds (not iCloud) do not provide the same option I get with live photos so I downloaded this and saved a set to a 30 second video. It worked like a charm with about 10 live photos. It does save it with a watermark on the free version which I don’t mind since I was trying it out. I immediately ordered the premium version and it’s well worth for $5. Was able to combine live photos with stills and a video for wonderful 4+ minute video. So worth it! Thank you Becky! Well done!

Update. I love this app but the new update won’t load.

Almost exactly what I wanted. It’s very easy to grab a couple Live Photo’s and pop then in and press play. It looks great. What I’d like is that it automatically makes each Live Photo flow into the next one as if it’s one single flowing video all perfectly lined up. In other words, there is no repeat or overlap from several photos taken in quick succession. Since that may take time to implement I’d like the trim features to be more robust. First, when I’m trimming I should see a live preview as I slide the left and right bar. Second, I need to know how it’s going to flow into the next clip. I want to be able to line them up into a seamless video but I don’t know what exact point of the next video I need to line up with. I can go back and forth to each video and trial and error but it takes a while and can be frustrating. If this feature can be accomplished I’d really enjoy this app. I love love photos and the thing I always wish I had was the ability to smash them together into a seamless video (for Live Photo’s take in quick or somewhat quick succession).

So much potential yet frustrating. It has so much potential. It is so easy and intuitive to use but it crashes all the time!! It even crashes my phone and males it turn off. And as there is no way to save I have to start over and over. I have been trying to complete a project for hours starting over and over again. It is so frustrating!

So useful!. This app makes video and photo composition a simple task! I highly recommend giving this a try!

Most def has potential. Most definitely have potential! Working on workflow with my iPad, crashed a couple of times and tried to recover, then the third time it crashed, no more recover, so I lost it all. I love your idea, just need to have transitions in sound and videos. Nice if this could make music adjustments like fading, music and voice and sound level adjustments, film splitting, and other essential editing tools. I love how you tried to make it simple, but need at least this more. I would be very supportive of your cause and be willing to even pay a little more as long as these features get added. But please, no subscriptions! I hate this idea and leave as soon as I see subscriptions! Most definitely good luck and will revisit this app again later. Cheers!

CRAAAAAAASSSSH. Spent 15 minutes perfecting a video to music and lyrics, trimming, adding etc...BOOM. Dumb app crashes. All lost. How ticked off am I? Nope. Not recommending. So upset.

Create a video with live photos and control sounds!. Great app, so easy to use, does everything I'd want, while keeping it simple enough where I can create something quickly! The best thing is that I can mute the sound from the photos and add my own music or use theirs. An awesome feature because I find myself saying the dumbest things while taking live photos, or they just have terrible snippets of my laugh... And I like how I can choose any number from each day, and order, and easily trim them individually. The perfect app.

Isn’t working - I got it to work.. For a paid app, does not work for me. I can not save anything. Edit-Deleted and re-downloaded. And it works like it’s supposed to. It’s nice to be able to do something with my live videos.

Meh. Paid for premium to export more than 30 second videos. Almost 30 photos I uploaded had issues showing, videos were having problems with changing the part I wanted to highlight. Audio worked great but beyond that, I found this to be a headache to use. Free apps offer the same functions with less hassle and didn’t have issues uploading my photos for a 3 minute movie I was making.

Crashes often. Like the idea of the app and the layout but it crashed and deleted multiple projects that I had spent a long time working on

Don’t Buy. Cannot get past the selection page without the app crashing. Just when I think I’ve finished, it crashes and takes my work with it.

It just works...like that. Upgraded to full app. It just works without any learning curve. Very intuitive. Nice selection of graphics and music—not too many (you won’t waste time sorting through a gazillion) but enough to cover your needs. Fun and fast. This is how a great app should function. Clean arrangement of controls and neat graphics.

Great App Idea, needs a little…. Really great app. Wonderful conceptZ While it has been crashing for me, regularly, I am able to get things done, eventually. Would be really great if you can select the portion of the audio track in app, so you could use a section from the middle of a song.

Perfect utility to make fun videos with Live Photos. Simple intuitive editing fun. I have made so many delightful videos with this app that I would have never made if I had to stop and use something more complicated. Just the right amount of editing power.

Automatic conversion and sorting. It would be nice if the app had a background automatic conversion and sorting feature for Live Photo’s that preserved the metadata somehow or overwrote it based on what it picked up from the existing media and then placed them all into an album. Or folder in the files app.

Nice App Easy Has Potential. So this is easy to use but I feel it might need instructions? I purchased this app but for the life of me I cannot trim, rotate, apply filters or anything? I’m assuming when I downloaded it I got the current version but I don’t know as that information is not in the app not that I can find anyway. Update: I uninstalled then reinstalled it and now it is working as it should, for the most part. Not sure what went with first install? One of the issues I’ve had is it crashing when I try to create a slideshow with 30 plus images. It’s trying to download from iCloud for a few minutes then it crashes. I haven’t tried adding say 10 images at a time to see if it works but I suppose that might help. Despite it crashing with many images I was happy to pay for it as you are not limited to “x” number of images. It’s also very nice you can add music from your library. Wish I had a bit more control over that part. Overall, I feel it’s worth the price and can’t wait to see what comes with future updates.

Keeps getting better. Got this app a few weeks back. It's been cool to see new features and polish trickle in. I like the title cards. I use this to make Animoji compilations for my kids. They're obsessed with them. At the end of every video they say "again again again again!"

crash. I really loved it but I made a whole video and I tried to add another video clip and it crashed ): then I tried again and it crashed. neither video saved

Could be easier. So I just finished making a movie and I don’t know how to save it. I didn’t see a save,next, or a done button and u have to pay in order to save it?

Easy and very well done app. This is a concept that’s being tried in a few places but this is the best I’ve seen it so far. The basic app is still great but after using it, I think you’ll want to upgrade to premium. I rarely do that but it’s inexpensive and well worth it. This app is SUPER user friendly! Can’t say enough good things... go play and have fun:)

Doesn’t do what it advertises. I got this mainly so I could trim all my live photos where I move the phone away too soon. Unfortunately, the trim feature only works when adding one video to another. Essentially all this app does is add music and NOTHING else! While that’s handy, I’m not interested in creating music videos. A complete waste of my money!

Great with Live Photos. This is a simple and brilliant way to make good use of Live Photos. Now shocked that Apple did not think of this. But glad that an inventive dev thought of it. Nicely done, Becky.

Easy to use video merging!. I love using this app to merge Live Photos of my son.

WASTE OF MONEY! app keeps crashing. So i downloaded this app yesterday and even paid for the full services but literally when i was about to finish the entire app crashed! I closed the app and started it up again it gave me the option to recover my last project so i opted for that and after 5 mins of loading it finished and it wouldn’t even let me edit it. So i gave up on that video and decided to edit a new one but now it won’t let me edit anything at all not even when i try editing small videos. Complete waste of money, don’t bother purchasing

Perfect for stitching Live Photos into a movie. Couldn’t be easier. Select your sequence of photos, and you’re done! Great app that does exactly what you want and does it super well. Make sure to unlock premium to remove the watermark and support this great developer.

No working for serious work. Once I exported 1:06 long video. I decided to pay $3.99. Then, I tried several times to export a video that is about 16 minutes long. The App failed. I am using iPhone 11 Pro Max.

Crashes and poor UI. The app crashes constantly when working on my 2 clip, 20 second project on an iPhone X. If it can’t handle such a simple task, I don’t expect it can do any real editing. On top of that, trying to trim a video is impossible. If you move the trimmer too close to the beginning of the track or the playback header, it resets itself.

Honest Opinion. I’m sorry, but I really didn’t like this app. I’ve tried over hundreds of apps, and this is by far one of the worst ones. I hate apps that make you get a subscription. Like, why can I only make 30 second videos? I know your trying to make a profit, but don’t say that an app is free and then make me pay for it. Anyway, I really hope you guys make a good choice and make it so that you don’t need a subscription.

Finally a Pano-to-Video App that Works!. I’ve been trying several other apps that work without having to share to a social media app. I needed to convert some work videos and this one is simple and easy to use.

Disappointed. I bought the premium as it seemed the perfect app for me. Seemed easy and has nice tools, but it closes itself before I can complete it. Keeps losing all my work and has become a waste of my time. Not recommended.

Love the app, couple suggestions. Two things I would love to see in this app: 1. A framing size that matches the Apple Watch screen ratio - so that I can make threads with apple watch screenshots 2. A setting that allows me to specify en-masse a “per photo time” so for instance if my thread is just a collection of still photos, and I only want each photo to be displayed for, say, .5 seconds, it would be great to be able to do this. I am doing a project where I take a screenshot of my watch every day and am going to turn it into a year long timelapse where each screenshot only shows up for a couple frames. Your app is close to being able to do this! Thank you :)

Snapthread. There were no instructions. After selecting the videos I wanted to record I thought it was downloading but am getting no feedback and there is no video that I can find. Am so disappointed.

I love it. There are a ton of photos that I would other wise never look at again that I can now instantly turn into great little movies. It’s amazing for baby pictures. :)

Crashes. It crashes constantly with all the previous works gone.

The Best of It’s Kind. There are only two apps on the App Store that effectively stitch together Live Photo’s that are any good, and this is one of them. This app also can remove audio from the video during export, which is something the other app doesn’t offer.

Crashes !!! Omg so frustrating !!. I just bought this app a few minutes ago. Been working on trimming a 6 minute video to a 35 second one. It lets me but when I add another video, the app just crashes!! Arrrggg . I’ve been trying for the past 20 minutes and keeps on doing it. Pls pls send me my refund. It is so frustrating !! Grrrr.

good fun. I picked this app to animate panorama photos to post on Facebook, as panning video clips. What it does it does automatically and well. I find it works best if you adjust the duration to 10 secs and the layout to square. It’s a shame you can’t set a few more parameters, for example to do vertical as well as horizontal shots and to control what dimensions are treated as panoramas, but it does work very well for images that fit its expected parameters.

Love it!. I get so much use out of Snapthread, especially for sending Live Photos of my baby to relatives without iPhones, and sharing the funny bits that Live Photos capture that you might otherwise miss. I also love the feature where you can stitch several Live Photos into a video, including the sound.

Great simple Live Photo to IG Stories app!!. Totaly love the app I did not know exist. Easy to use, intuitive and fun. Great handling of Live Photos it feels like 60 fps. If only the app can capture Panorama and scrolling with speed control for Stories format!

Perfect for montages. Live Photos capture so much more than a single frame and I wanted an easy tool for video creation. Using snapthread for my baby’s first year montage was a great alternative to regular editing tools and a huge time saver.

Easy to use and perfect for making memories. I love this app. For me it’s the perfect way to save and summarize anything. Whether it be a trip or a day spent with friends, having all your favourite photos in new place, with the option to overlay with music and even titles is the best. I share my little videos with people and they love them too. Becky, if you see this, I have a question about the music. When I try to add music from my phone, rather than the music available in the app, I cannot see all of my music. Is that a copyright issue or is that a glitch?

Was looking for a way to merge several Live Photos into one video and this app did it instantly without a hitch. Fabulous! Can choose 4:3 or 16:9 landscape or portrait formats, and even includes several background music tracks of different styles to choose from if you want some background music. No need for instructions even it's so wonderfully put together. Beautifully intuitive. Just click and go.
