Does not function as advertised.. This app, when I tested it, rang through on two different phones or failed to connect. As a matter of fact the only thing that did work was the deduction of credits. I now have three credits. Each call, failed or not, ring through or not deducts a credit. Five credits cost a buck. I paid two dollars for this app. What a joke, just a total cash-grab.

One of my favorite apps!. Very nice app for those who have business running... The service works better than phone carries!!! I do recommended!!!!

Works Intermittently. This works for about 80% of the calls. About 20% of my calls ended up with the the other line picking up. Worse — the calls that people picked up cost credits. For a paid app, this was disappointing.

Doesn’t display my number when calling someone.. I want to give this a better review. Even after verifying my Number it still does not display on other’s phone. Used 4 credits, trying various solutions. Sent email to customer service. Nothing but crickets.

A great alt to Slydial with a feature Slydial doesn't have. This app is similar to Slydial, but it supports every type of number, including pre-paid numbers, which Slydial does not.

TRASH!!!!!. I recently paid for this app and when I made my first call, the person answered. I reached out to support for assistance but still no resolution. I got an email from them asking if I was dialing from a landline and the answer was no. I was asked what carrier I was using so I told them..and I have yet to hear why I paid for complete nothingness. Uninstalling immediately. What a disappointment.

Absolutely love it. Their support and customer service are very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and like I said, if they could just make it a little easier, like by having a direct phone number, that would be great.

Indispensable. I still love this app and service. It's been crucial for my daily business. I enjoy the new app and find it stable and functional. Looking forward to further updates and improvements.

Waste of money!!. Really disappointed with this app. I purchased this app after returning from vacation to 13 voicemails on my work line. I thought this app would be great to call people back and give a quick response rather than having to chat with 13 different people. The first call was great, straight to voicemail. However, the second and third calls someone answered the phone. Not only did it waste credits for a call that did not go straight to voicemail the fourth call wouldn’t let me leave a voicemail. It cut me off mid voicemail and kept asking me to re record and start recording where I left off. Total waste of money. I’m glad I decided to try the app before purchasing a bunch of credits.

I think the app is cool. Only thing about it, I think the in app credits purchase is unnecessary, seems like a way just to make money off customers for no reason. I test it out in mobile calls and the phone does ring! Not long but it’s notifying other person. I think it could use a prerecorded VM feature. I like the design and idea but it needs some tweaking in my opinion.

Love it. The app has worked great for me, I got it about two weeks ago, and had seen the mix of good and bad reviews, and figured I would take a gamble. I have not used it much, but in each case it has put me straight through to the persons voicemail, and I could leave a message acting like I am sorry I didn't reach you today, but why don't I leave a message,.....

Awesome app. Ahead of its time. It's a great app takes care of a lot more than you think. And the format is simple. I'd would recommend at least downloading it and giving it a try for a few weeks at the least.

“WhatCall” is a piece of garbage!. I noticed there’s only five reviews on this app. All five reviews gave it “five stars.” I imagine those stars cane from the owners/developers of the app. I can tell you THIS IS THE WORST APP I’VE EVER BOUGHT! I really wanted to leave my brother an important message but I really didn’t have the time or desire to get into a discussion with him. I just wanted to leave a quick two minute message and be done with my day. So I bought, “WhatCall.” I called my brother. It went directly to his voicemail and I began to leave my message. A few seconds into leaving my message, my brother picks up the phone and says, “Hey Dave, it’s about time you called, I’ve been waiting for your message.” Then of course I had to speak with him. When my brother picked the phone up he mentioned, “that was really weird, the phone didn’t ring but my phone vibrated and lite-up.” So no, his phone didn’t ring but it did everything else so he would answer. Sounds like these kids over at, “WhatCall” have a long way to go as their app DOES NOT WORK! I’m sure they thought, “we’ll develop an app and sell it for a dollar and all we need to do is sell a million of them and we’ll be millionaires!” Sorry guys- it doesn’t work that way!!!

Absolutely effective. I've never rated an app before. I'm going out of my way. This was a great app to begin with. With the new upgrade, it's phenomenal. I HIGHLY recommend it!!

Paid for the app and they’re asking to pay for each call. What a click and switch. Very bad way to do business. I pad for the app and when it’s is talked I find that I only get to make 2 calls and will have to pay $4.99 for additional calls. This business practice should be banned by Apple. If you paid for the app that should be it. Or make the app free and then ask the user to pay for each call. Deleting this app now. What a big mistake to have paid for it.

I really like this app. really enjoy using the app. it's the best app I've used. I especially like that it's constant being updated and improved.

Accessible to customers. App is fantastic, if there is a problem, or you desire to change, update something, it is easy to reach them.

Good App. This app works well, the only thing I hope for is a whole UI upgrade. It looks kind of old school on an iPhone 6 plus. That's the only thing I would like to see is a whole new design.

Great. Love this app and how you didn't have to manually enter in the phone number you want to leave the voicemail for. I can just go into contacts. Best app ever!

Worked like a dream!. I had to call a business and the front desk guy is always so rude so I dreaded having to talk to him. I used WhatCall to leave a voicemail and it worked amazingly well! I dialed the number, it went straight to their voicemail and I left my message and went on with my day. I’ve been looking for something like this and I’m happy to have it!! Awesome app!! A+!!

Terrible app. They don’t tell you in the description, but after you purchase the app, you have to purchase “credits” in order to use the app. I had 5 credits, and it diddnt even go to the persons’ voicemail that I was trying to call. It diddnt ring or anything either, it was just quiet, and then the guy answered the phone and I had to talk to him. Terrible app.

Wow! I love this!!. This app does exactly what it says. This is so incredibly handy!! At first I was frustrated because I thought it was a pay one time for the app and thats it kind of thing. I had to get over it and pay for some credits to make my calls. It is so worth it.

No better VM app anywhere!. This is the best voicemail app out there, I have had it for about months and I have never had any issues! Keep up the great work!

Well worth the investment. I've had this service for a few weeks now, and in addition to being very useful for myself it's amazing

99 cents and more. I just purchased and tried to use this service. The vm cut me off and then continued to say it couldn’t take the message. I had no idea that I would have to continue to purchase credits to use this service and my one of 3 is now gone with probably a missed call and no message left. Disappointing to say the least.

This app doesn’t work.. I tried calling someone who I really didn’t want to talk to, nonetheless, it Rang like a regular call and the person picked up. There I was stuck in a conversation with the person I did not want to get into a conversation with. Thanks a lot you morons! In too of it all, they deduct a credit from your account that you’re required to purchase even though it didn’t go to voicemail.

Only one call worked. Thought for $.99 I would give it a try. Literally only one call let me leave a message :(. Also only gives you three credits to start and then you have to buy more which I hadn’t realized, so not really sure if the service is worth the bother. At the end of the day just suffer through making the call.

Deceptive. They charge you to purchase this app but no place in the description do they give the full story namely they will continue to charge you to use it. You only learn that after you purchase the app. In addition it seems buggy and fails often. They also want to get access to your contacts likely so they can sell the numbers of your friends and relatives to telemarketing companies. Stay away from this thing Don’t waste your money.

Good work. I have had a lot of success with whatcall. I use Whatcall all the time to reach my clients when I am short on time and this is so much easier.

Buyer beware. Did not realize that this app requires in app purchases of credits to be able to use (that’s my fault). They do a really good job at hiding the fact that there is in app purchases. My problem is I had to buy the app just to download the content then have to pay for credits. Either make the app free and charge ppl for credits or charge ppl a premium upfront. Being blind sided by in app charges is total BS, click bait at best. You got my dollar but I’ll be deleting and not using again.

It worked for me. I am glad I didn’t read reviews before installing. It worked well for me. No issues. The only problem is for is the need to buy credits, there could be a monthly fee or something.

Lifesaver!. I cannot count the number of times I have called someone I wished wouldn't pick up so that I could leave a voice mail rather than actually speak or deal with the person. This app takes care of those problems. Love it!

Excellent service. It's a no brainer so don't think about and just get it. Been using it on and off for years based on employment.

Waste of a dollar. So my first call while dialing completely silent, and then it asked to have access to my microphone. By the time I hit yes, it went straight to what I was assuming voicemail without any warning. During my second call, the person was able to pick up because it was a landline. So I suppose it could work for some, just did not work for me.

Wow. Best app out there! Simply amazing. This is something new. I love the way is set up very easy to use. I love it and you will too. I would recommended to everyone.

App is Dead. This application previously worked well for me when I needed to leave someone a quick voicemail. It has not worked for nearly 6 months. I followed every walk through tip sheet I can find but nothing works. I go to place a call and it never rings for me. The worst thing is that I have already paid for credits that are just sitting there.

Still have to buy credits?? Forced notifications. This app is a complete scam. After buying the app you get 6 “credits” to make calls. Then you have to buy more?! What a rip off. The app forces you to enable push notifications in order to use it. The notifications ordeal is nonsense as verifying your number is a manual process using sms. Reporting to apple for this reason this app is absolute garbage.

Good app. Overall a good app. There are times when the call does not go to voicemail and actually rings and the other party will answer but that seems fixed in this version - great job

Just update it. When I using the app on option dial from contact it doesn't work. Otherwise it's great and I have using for months as well.

Doesn’t Work as Advertised. I’ve tried this over a dozen times now and, more times than not, the person I leave the message for calls me back while I’m leaving the message. I decided to try it on my wife’s phone while I had both our phones in my hand and her phone rang once then went to voicemail. Tried it a second and third time and the same thing happened. I miss the Straight2VM app!

I love it!. The app does have great issues. But the service as a whole rules the world. Hehe, my world at least. I use this as my exclusive communication method. It offers so much! I love it!

Doesn't work. I wasted 2 credits testing this app to see if it actually worked. It didn't. I placed a call to my son's cell phone and it didn't go to his voicemail. It didn't call his phone at all. I burned up to credits trying to get it to work. UPDATE: Customer service is excellent. The issue was explained and my account was credited.

Brilliant. Ever want to call your boss, but you pray they don't answer? Or anyone for that matter? Well this app takes away the worrying!!! :) I had this app when I had an iPhone. Its just one more way technology is improving communication

It was great until I needed help.. I have no problem paying for an app. It has worked well when I needed it. However I verified my phone number one time and wanted to switch back to it being “unverified” or say “unknown” when I am leaving a message. I contacted support and they initially responded quickly and said they could unverify it, just send them the phone number. I did. And waited. And waited. And emailed again. And waited. And emailed again. No response what so ever.

Worked as described. I just used this app & it worked PERFECTLY. As expected. As described. I don’t know what that wacko review on the home page is about. It doesn’t even make a lick of sense! Apple should remove THAT review!!!

Doesn't Work. The buyer receives 6 "credits" with purchase, intended for 1 call per credit. Unfortunately, these are quickly used up attempting to get this thing to work. I called several people from my contacts list, and got only dead air - no ringing sound, no recording - each time. I "left a message", but they received neither a message nor even an indicator that there was a voicemail. Don't waste your money.

Charges you for credits to make calls. Very misleading. I purchased this with the idea that I would not have to make in-app purchases. The app charges you to make additional calls after the three "free" credits (not even free).

Not what the description says. The missed call does not show your number as the phone number that called. It shows Unknown with an asterisk. Would not have paid for this app had I known that’s what would show up. Why would anyone want that?

Worked once, didn’t work twice.... The first call I made to test it worked as it should. The second call I made to actually use it as intended, the person I was trying not to talk to answered their phone! It never went to their voicemail.

Downhill. This app used to work great, though hasn’t worked for at least a year and no response from any of the support contacts. I have credits I paid for that don’t work.

Has doubled my sales. This is a great app. I leaves me soo much extra time in the day .Support is superb and they have heard the feedback.

Doesn’t work. I needed to use this app to make one call. I called the number and it didn’t make any noise , but it said it was calling? And then I waited for the voicemail but the person picked up. Soo doesn’t work at all and very awkward

Doesn’t work. I’m in Houston, Texas. Did the verification process. Three times I called my son, the call did not go through. There was no indication as to why it failed. $2 bucks wasted in my opinion.

Be Aware of the Charges. The price you pay is for a yearly subscription and 3 calls ONLY. You need to pay again for calls even though you’re paying a $30 yearly subscription fee.

Doesn’t work. Tested it out on my boyfriend. Both times the calls went directly to voicemail but then he called me back immediately asking why I called him twice. Another time it didn’t even go to voicemail but once again, the person knew I’d called. Waste of money

They forget to mention you pay per call. Don’t waste your money on this app they charge you $1 per 5 calls you make. AFTER YOU ALREADY PAID FOR THE APP. There are apps just like this that are free and have no “1 credit per call & but more credits” system. Thanks but no thanks

What's not to like?. Instead of hoping you get their vm, you do for sure! I use it almost daily and its very inexpensive. Worth every dime.

Hidden fees to use - only one “free” call included. I downloaded the app and used it for the 1st time and thought it was great. I went today to make my 2nd call and was told I needed to “add credits”. Funny, I didn’t see anything on the app description saying that you had to pay for calls. This is so misleading.

to clarify. He answered, so I hung up, and that’s when I began receiving the follow-up threats from him. I never would have called him if I didn’t have faith in all the rave reviews. iPhone 7+, up to date, doesn’t work. Get better developers, yo. It’s in your name.

Works great. I have an iphone7 and it works perfectly. I don't know what I would do without whatcall! It's a life safer.

This app does not work. I downloaded the app and made the call from the app. The person answered the phone just as if I had called them! 😡 That was after attempting 2 other failed calls! I never got a voicemail box. I will delete this app.

Fantastic!!. I just got this, and really love this VM app. I get questions all the time from friends about it too!! So far so good.
