TRULY ON TARGET. This wallpaper app has most likely been over looked due too the rating and as well the volume of ratings. Well big things come in small packages. FREE AND HARDLY ANY ADS AT ALL. Offers a tiny $ amount to remove ads. BRILIANT artwork AND ILLUSTRATION ART AS WELL AS categories and search variety and the lovely scenic art is incomparable to almost all wall paper apps except for one other. Easy to miniver in. Full screen access . Brilliant photo appeal . And lists the artist with capability to access and read interesting info on the artwork and the artist. This app has crashed only a few times after hours of perusing. No annoying pop ups to buy premium. AND, This app is not deceitful nor scandalous. The amount of artwork is over a good 1000 pics. Incredible and I recommend as I have used this app recently and deleted all but this and one other. I am a 20 yr. Apple iPhone owner and not a bot. My reviews are solid and without bias. You really should give this app a whirl. After all the reviews and my own experience with all wall papers apps in App Store for free, take my word. This is a class act app. ENJOY.

super awesome discovery!. I was casually looking for a phone background and stumbled on this app.. I was taken away by it's beautifully smooth UI and stunning photos - when I saw that it required a subscription I knew it was too good to be true, but then realizing that it's 5.49/yr made me really happy

GREAT COMMUNITY!. This app started off for me as a way to find cute wallpapers, but as time went on I realized how interested I was in personally becoming a photographer and started submitted some photos of mine. Now, I have over 1000 downloads which isn’t A LOT compared to others, but for me it’s a real big pat on the back and reassurance that my photos aren’t bad. The only thing I would suggest to the developers is if they could include a way for artists to see how many downloads each individual photo got rather than just which are trending. That would be really helpful! But overall BEST WALLPAPER/COMMUNITY APP!!

Useful!. I use this app mostly to create wallpapers. I create them for different screen size iPhones. But it only saves them to the screen size of my 6s Plus. Most I create are for the XS Max size. We need the option to save wallpapers in different sizes. Also, it's too difficult to find the free wallpapers. Too much pushing a subscription. Seems nearly all apps want you to pay them each month or year now. It was much better before subscriptions ruined the app store.

A wallpaper addict. I have an addiction for good wallpapers and this app has it all. You can download super high quality images with no compression, you can blur them (something I like to do to make the home screen a little less busy), you can make gradients if you want something different but with the same colors. The newly added wallpaper collections are gorgeous as well. I absolutely adore this app, a big thank you to the devs for putting in the work where it matters.

Won’t load over wifi. Why will the app not load on my iPhone 12 or my iPad Pro over wifi? My iPhone will load them if I switch to cellular data, but I do not have that option on my iPad. Please investigate this, as it is incredibly annoying. UPDATE: This app is still broken on iPads with no help from developers! Some wallpapers load, none will save. Works fine on my iPhone. PLEASE FIX.

What i want and not what I want. This app is good but I was expecting for something better because i search for app that have trasparent wallpaper if you don’t know what that mean go to google and search I want this wallpaper but there’s no wallpaper that Mach so pleas fix so I will give this a 5 star ok?

Doesn’t load. I loved the app so much that I bought the premium version. It was working great! But then after an update like half of the tabs and wallpapers won’t even load. I’ve updated the app multiple times now making sure it’s on the latest version. However it continues to not load around three fifths of the apps content. Very disappointing and frustrating.

It’s where I get my wallpapers!. What a wonderful app! I got tired of searching the web for wallpapers, only to find hit or miss results. This app does a great job pulling providing high-quality wallpapers. The ones in the $5/year “magazine” are incredible. And, I love the ability to create my own and add blurs, etc.

So worth it. This app is amazing I love it!!! I can never find the perfect wallpaper so I go get an app for it and then it has so many cuss words in it and inappropriate things in it but this app doesn’t it’s the best I totally recommend it it is so worth the money

Blurry result with latest update. I use this app all the time because I change lockscreens like crazy and it used to be perfect, but now it lowers the quality whenever I add a gradient mask and save the picture. Please fix it, because other than that Clarity is amazing.

Problem loading images. Love this app. Use it on desktop every day. Recently I have had issues with my images loading on mobile though. All I can see is grey holder images. Couldn’t find an email address to contact so thought I would leave a review in the hopes a Dev sees it.

Best Wallpaper App Hands Down. This the cleanest, most functional wallpaper app I’ve ever used. Most wallpaper apps have either great photos and poor organization or great organization and limited pictures. This one has both. Beautiful, intuitive, and reliable.

One start off for wrong preview when wallpaper is bright. in which case the iOS will use dark home screen font but the app is not able to generate a preview with the dark font.

Amazing!. I love this app! Both my home and lock screen were found from it. The only odd thing is that some of the pictures cost money...? I just screen shot it and crop it haha

Awesome. Thanks to the developer for bring such awesome app! It makes more easily to deal with wallpaper, in a word, it’s amazing. I don’t like to write reviews, after i have used Clarity for two months, I hope to recommend to others, hope you guys would love it if you need to make a wallpaper.

Mediocre. Would love to give it a higher rating but unfortunately it isn't all that impressive even after paying the small fee, as soon as you open the app it takes forever to upload and show the wallpapers, what they curate often isn't impressive at all, and their isn't a way to automatically apply the wallpaper right from the interface of the app, instead it makes you download it. I would steer clear of this app.

Superb. I’m a self-proclaimed wallpaper snob and this is by far one of the best wallpaper apps I’ve ever used. It has so many images and they are organized by category which makes matching your Home Screen and Lock Screen easy. I’ve always obsessed about these two matching so this is an important feature for me. Another great thing about this app is the price. As of December 3rd, 2020 it costs only $4.99 a year to unlock all of the features of this app. I highly recommend it!

Amazing 😉. Truly well done app. I have used so many different wallpaper apps. Very impressive. The low annual price strikes the right balance also.

Seems nice. The functionality seems nice just thought its a little deceiving because it’s labeled “create” your own wallpaper but that’s a paid service. Which I don’t mind but why label it that then let you download it for free to find out that to create one you need the paid version.

Go Clarity!!!. I just downloaded this yesterday and now I just CANNOT stop changing my wallpaper!! A lot of them are free and they’re beautiful!! If you want wallpapers that are abstract and and just really pretty, YOU NEED THIS!! Most of it is free, but I wish I could get the premium version because it’s soo cool!! One of the unique things about this app is that you can change it’s icon!! There are some really nice ones for premium, but the free version is almost just as good!! Also, there are literally no ads. I swear. There aren’t any ads, which is just awesome!! I hope that whoever made this upgrades the app so that there’s more free stuff. LOVE THIS APP!!!!

Ok, that’s alot, but I think it’s appropriate considering this app brings alot. Alot of the best in artwork by the best of the talented, creative, and sharing people who bring it. Advise. The overall user experience is great so far, particularly it’s easily to solve the problem that time is blocked. I have a question if it would add new function that recommend good wallpaper, actually, I have a few friends have the same thoughts, thanks hope it will be better.

Love the app but sadly can’t upgrade to pro!!!!. The app is wonderful the wallpapers resolution and quality are the best on all the apps I have used but the only problem with the app is I can’t upgrade to the pro version Error ( Cannot connect to iTunes Store)

Really nice. Great interface, great variety, and a constant stream of new content. I had always hoped Vellum would start releasing new packs more frequently and would broaden the styles of images they provide. Maybe they will one day. If you want a very specific style drip fed to you, Vellum is great, but Clarity absolutely crushes it if you want more.

AMAZING. This app is the best app if your looking for wallpaper it’s free yeah some wall paper cost money but this app has any wallpaper you would ever want AND they add new wallpapers EVERYDAY if you don’t download the app your missing out on so much!

Amazing. I 100% recommend this app. Although a lot of images of pro and cannot be downloaded, the free ones are just as amazing. I definitely think this app and Pinterest are the only apps you should ever use to find a good wallpaper for your device. I love this and have had it for a little while now.

The Best Wallpaper App. I’ve tried tons of different wallpaper apps and websites, and Clarity gives you the highest resolution wallpapers for anything you need such as iPads, iPhones, or desktop. It’s hard to find wallpapers that look good on IPad in portrait AND landscape mode, but this app does it perfectly.

I miss the Featured section after this past update.. I love the quality of work in these wallpapers, but really appreciate the creativity that was in the free Featured section. I’m hoping you can bring it back. 5 stars if you do.

No Desktop (iPad) wallpapers.. I cannot live without this app on my iPhone. I’m always changing my wallpaper with the various magazines available for choosing with tasteful selections but when it comes to the desktop options I can’t even search for what I’m looking for and the updated wallpapers are little to nothing. I hope you guys aren’t forgetting your iPad/desktop fans 😭

I love this app and the majority of the images are beautiful. However, it won't load at all. I've uninstalled and reinstalled. I restarted my phone. Nothing. And the website won't come up in a phone, but partially comes up on a desktop. I can't even login. No way to contact anyone. I'll give it a few more days..

Great App. I loved this app, I spent months trying to find something as reliable as this app has been for me. I was finally happy and satisfied, but that is no longer the case. The problem is with this recent update that made the entire app a paid service. I was considering becoming a paid customer but not after this move. Very disappointed with this poorly made decision. No thanks.

Great support!!. I wrote a review expressing frustration at not being able to change my email address and the developer responded and is changing it for me. Admittedly it would be nice if you could do that in the app but I’m satisfied because of the efficient support. Thank you! 👏

Not worth it. My biggest gripe with this app is that you have to pay for it and then pay again in app for a “pro” version... Traditionally when you pay for something you don't have to pay again for a pro version. It should already be the pro version. They of course don’t indicate this. I wish I could get a refund but I doubt that’ll happen so save your money and download one of the hundred other apps that do the same thing but for free. Oh no...a couple ads.

connection is absolutely horrible.. every single app i have connects fine. i have 5G and never have problems connecting to any application, server, network, never. but i can't connect to this app. "server error. please try again " literally 6 - 7 times in a row. even after i reset my network settings, soft reset, hard reset, typical power off & on and everything in between. it's sad because the wallpapers are dope. but the developer obviously doesn't care about something more important than the content which is the connection that allows people to see the content. unbelievable intellect. id give it a 0 out of 5 if i were allowed to.

Only useful if you want to make your creations public. I enjoy making a Wallpapers for personal goals and reminders. I don’t wanna share them with the world and there seems to be no option for this. You can’t even make us desktop to save without sharing it. I wish I’d known that before I paid 😞

Great library of photos!. This is one of my favorite apps. When I get bored of my lock screen, there is always some new and interesting picture available. The curated magazine section is awesome. When a new addition comes out, it just makes sense to change my screen up. Lots of great pictures. Lots of fun.

Wow. Just wow. Love this app, absolutely no ads(a plus for me) and love the wallpapers it offers. I saved a bunch and now have a photo shuffle of all of my favs!! Thanks guys!!! Great app, by far the best wallpaper app out there.

Loved for a long time.. Ive been using clarity for a long long time. Probably the first app I actually subscribed to cause its so great. Lets cut to the chase if you love great looking original wallpaper then you will love clarity. It’s easy to use. Has tons of wallpapers but it also has a built in wallpaper maker! So you can take any photo you want and add frames, blurring effects, gradient with what ever color you want. You can also post it for others to use. It’s just a great app and i highly recommend it and with the new 5.0 version it added desktop wallpaper too! Enjoy!

Useful. It’s not easy to make a photo to be a good wallpaper before I used this product, it’s pretty easy to handle, so I think it’s a helpful tool to those who like change their wallpaper, just like me. Thanks ,good luck to your company!

Updated Terms, no English???. Apparently the terms and conditions have changed, and even the page for ENGLISH terms and conditions is in another language (Chinese?). Obviously I will not be accepting these terms if I can’t read them, and will likely end my paid subscription because this seems very suspicious.

Make my own wallpaper. Yes, it can, I am enjoy in taking photographers to record my life, It will drive me crazy if I use the same wallpaper in the same time, I change my wallpaper almost 2 or 3 days to use my own photo, just like food , good view. Clarity is very useful, three functions are easily to use, by the way ,I think this APP’s UI is also amazing. Thanks.

Excellent. The app has a very beautiful UI and I love that you don't have to choose a subscription if you don't want to. Plus, it makes it easier to costomise your phone!

They have updated their subscription price. Update: They have updated their subscription price to $5.49 a year, which is a lot more reasonable to me than the some $3 a month they were asking. I paid that amount without hesitation and I am very pleased so far. I do truly enjoy using this app and find lots of great wallpaper’s I can’t find anywhere else. Are you crazy? You make a great app, with lots of great wallpaper and then all of a sudden you want to make people pay for it! If had know that, I would rather never have downloaded your app. There is no way I will do a subscription to download wallpapers. If you had one time price, I could maybe go for that, but No, you want me to subscribe!? You can go dunk your head in a barrel full of apples and try to bite one off for yourself.

App doesn’t even work for me half the time. When I go on the app half of the time it’s says their is an error loading or the screen is just white and it doesn’t load at all and I check back later that day and it’s working, and then sometimes it doesn’t work and I check back in a couple days and it works, this happens to me all the time and it’s annoying and it’s the only app I have that does this.

Don’t like it. my game keeps crashing a lot whenever I want a wallpaper. I’m the kind of person that just can’t really wait 2 minutes for an app to load and see if it youre actually gonna like it. No, okay then another 2 minutes spent doing nothing. I personally have downloaded like 3 other wallpaper apps and they seem to be working vv good! So it’s not my internet or anything. I also get very confused when im in the first page the apps open and I just don’t understand why someone would want to edit a photo in a wallpaper app. I don’t. When I first opened it I though I might’ve downloaded another app but i didn’t. So overall I find it very confusing, and slow. Don’t like it, just wanted to leave a rewiew in here.

Fine Tuning to Perfection; Achieved!. Fantastic app so far! The Mask and Blur features work perfectly and beautifully. My only critique is with the Gradient feature. When I tap or slide either the hue or saturation when editing, the color loses its light/dark aspect and reverts to its true value on the hue slider. There is no slider to adjust it back. ----- Edit v1.1: The x and y-axis snapping is an excellent addition to Gradient! However, the faded colors still transition to the actual hues when editing... I cannot get greys or pastel pinks unless I randomize again. Hope a solution is coming soon! ----- Edit v1.2: Gradients are now perfect, and for those wondering the pro version is worth the extra $2. Thank you to the dev team for listening to the reviews!

So good. On this app you can get lots of cool wallpapers, some examples of them are; animals, plants, aesthetic, stars and lots more! If you don’t have the premium, than you can’t get most of the pictures, but I know a way to fix that. Just take a screenshot of the picture and then crop it and save it to photos.

Great App. Wasn’t planing on buying the full version as I prefer not to do subscriptions, but I love this app! So I did, and it’s good value! It’s great for anyone who likes to change their wallpapers often and look at cool images for inspiration…👍

Great app but slow. The app is amazing, the content is great. The only downside is that the app is super slow, loading the content takes ages. Otherwise great app, I paid the subscription, it is totally worth it.

mid. It's a great idea and there are some great images. But everything is locked behind a subscription, so why not just make it a paid app? Made me annoyed so I just got rid of it lol.

Possibly the best Wallpaper app in existence.. This app combines a few features that most apps simply do not. High quality (actually high quality) images. Nothing worse than a wallpaper with JPEG compression artifacts. And wallpaper tools, like custom gradients and adding blur to images. And to the reviewers complaining about $6.99/year. Give me a break. Please. How do you expect great apps to exist without support from its users. Yes, you can use google to find wallpaper, but an app like this makes that task 100% more user friendly and enjoyable. Thank you.

Don’t download, aren’t even following Apples policy’s.. After a recent update apps are supposed to let you opt out of them tracking you. If you refuse, the pop up just keeps popping up and won’t let you use the app.

All wallpapers locked behind a subscription. It’s really pointless that the wallpapers are locked behind a subscription. I’d rather see ads then pay for a subscription to a wallpaper app.

Rip-off. Initial update was wonderful, but what do you do? You decided to re-update requiring all wallpapers to be unlocked. Where are the free ones? I’m definitely uninstalling.

Nothing is free. I get having in app purchases but there are zero free options. No way to really decide if the app is worth it for you. Maybe good for a business but certainly not worth downloading for an individual.

Great, but you cant do much without the premium subscription. The app is great, but almost every wallpaper requires the premium subscription. You also need a subscription to save an edited image.

Not working. I have been paying for this app and loved it. Recently, it stopped working. It won’t let me sign in and says cannot connect to the server. I have tried everything that I know of to get it to work

Issa. This is a really great wallpaper app but it needs more wallpapers and change the theme of the app.

IPhone Only. Description indicates iPad compatibility. Sure it runs, but only in portrait format and only with dismal image quality and a crude UI. Developer should disclose that it is essentially an iPhone app and Apple should not promote such inadaquecy with its pretty marketing. Save your $0.99 to donate to the needy.

Issue with saving images.. For modifying wallpaper the app looks great. Unfortunately having an issue where the saved image is showing up blank in the photo library. No obvious support option on the developers website.

Not worthy. All the nice pics you have to buy like right now I looking for a blush pink background but all them you have to buy and I was just trying to match my phone case with a background but I have to pay for that😩😫

Great app. Personally I think the latest update took a step backwards. The free wallpapers now aren’t right up front and simple to access, hopefully that can comeback. Also overall the app seems to be slower

Mediocre quality photos. Is it me or the wallpapers are not really HD? Stupidly bought the “magazine” thinking that if I bought it would give full HD resolution wallpapers. Granted no where does it state that they are HD, but in 2019 I would more or less consider it a standard to be HD. Maybe I’m missing something here? Or I don’t know how to use the app properly?

I LOVE this app but... I can’t even use it anymore. I just get this “can not connect to server” error. I had my brother download it on his phone and he got the same thing. It’s been over 2 weeks. I’m paying for their service too... what’s going on with this??

Ugh. You can’t even make your own wall paper, it asks for money to actually download the backgrounds!! How dumb is that!!! But they tried and hope they change this in the future

Cropped Image. Downloaded on my iPhone X yesterday after reading the reviews. Tried to create wallpaper but the saved image in gallery is either cropped or fully blank. Sometimes the image is distorted as well.

Ruins pictures. I am trying to use the blur function and when it exports the photo it inexplicably cuts half of the photo off so it cannot be used as a wallpaper. I have reinstalled the app and that made no difference.

Something doesn’t seem right. Lots of photos of sexy women, intimate couples and basic love (all heterosexual). Nothing with regards to same-sex couples, Pride, rainbow flags or anything gay or LGBTQ at all. The “Clarity” here, it seems, is that the app designer simply forgot or intentionally left the LGBTQ community out. I deleted the app.

WOW!!!. Beautiful photos of just about everything!!

Problems with blur. Downloaded the app. Clarity worked great but blur only saves a very small cropped image that will not work. Went to developers site to contact support but no option available. Bought the app because it was highlighted in the App Store as being able to create the perfect wallpaper. Disappointed.

Error can’t load. Please fix these bugs it’s annoying it always says can’t reload opens to blank screen every time I open and doesn’t load

Low Resolution Walls. The new UI is amazing but still the wallpapers are not that crisp. It needs to have higher quality. Please consider making it an option in the settings to switch between high, medium and low resolutions when downloading.

Saved wallpers are gone. I saved bunch of great wallpapers and one day I want to use one of them and now they are all gone. I tried to search again and save again, but apparently save button does't do it's job. My saved wallpapers are still gone

Great but slow loading. A lot of beautiful free wallpapers. Apps loads really slow at start. I’m wondering if paying for premium would improve that.

Meh. Silly how “save” actually downloads the preview (with mock time and screen edges). The wallpapers themselves are alright. Most seem a little lifeless. There are a few good ones. Could improve with time.

Can’t get the app to download or show wallpapers. I use to love this app and now in my new iPhone 12 I can’t get about 3 quarters of the content. Very disappointed would appreciate any help to figure out a fix

Low resolution output. Currently the put put it quite low resolution. I am a artist and create art for backgrounds frequently. To be clear I am not talking about the blur just the final saved image’s resolution. This app looked like it could streamline some of the finishing process but the results are less than expected. Hope there is update to correct the issue.

Fairy tale. Like most things that looked good as demonstrated by the App Store, but then turned n difficult to achieve result you want! Perhaps it’s my original? Or maybe it’s my skill level, (or lack of it?)? Either way I can’t really say for sure, but also either way the results ares crap! Guess I wasn’t much help after all, was I? Well a girl can try an anyway. Sorry

Love the app, iPad support would be a plus. Clarity is my go to app for making iPhone wallpapers especially since the iPhone X is supported. It would be great to see the app extended as a universal app to also support the iPad.

NOT an iPad app, regardless of what it says under Compatibility. Rather than maintain the aspect ratio of the source image or query the device for its screen dimensions, this app is hard-coded to produce portrait-oriented iPhone images. I can’t believe that this app recommended by App Store curators when it whiffs on iOS design standards like this.

Forced to pay. Idk what happened to the older version but now basically every wallpaper is on a subscription magazine so you are forced to pay for any half decent wallpaper. And the very few scattered free ones are bad quality. There are much better wallpaper apps on the App Store that don’t charge and have great quality pics. You lost me Clarity.

Just subscribed but unable to get the wallpapers. Wallpapers are beautiful so I paid for the subscription but am unable to download any of them. Went to the website to see if I could contact the developer but couldn’t find anything helpful. Please help or if you can’t, refund the purchase. Thanks

It’s dope. This app is everything the description says, plus more! It’s made my weekly wallpaper searching seamless. There are so many cool things on here.! I dig it.

Doesn’t work well. It doesn’t let you scroll up and down to make your picture longer. This is nothing like I thought it would be. Very disappointed.

Use to be awesome. Use to be and awesome app! But for months now. Even after the update... whenever a photo is saved it’s cut off, misplaced, or some other weird graphical bug. 😕😣😖

Awesome Wallpapers. I’m an OCD wallpaper changer. Literally I may change my wallpaper 4 x in a day depending on mood. This is THE ONLY ! App that has beautiful hi-res wallpapers updated daily that are stunning. A definite must download. Thx guys

Bloated, Crashes. What started out as a cool app has sadly wound up like so many apps that began with a good idea, then turned into obtrusive, bloated junk as the developer grows desperate to monetize and milk it for every last nickel. Now it crashes when I try to do the most basic blur of one of my camera roll photos. I’m looking for an alternative.

Whoa. I have this on my iPhone and iPad, super awesome wallpaper app. Way better then lots of others out there

It’s a paywall app, anything you click requires payment. It a very obnoxious app. I bought the blur feature when they first started. It has now morphed into a paywall app where they don’t have a back button when you accidentally click on a feature you didn’t want to.

Used to love this app. Recently it seems as though there was an update and now I’m no longer able to use the app. I used this app daily to change my wallpapers and now I can’t use it anymore. Please fix it and I will change my rating!

Recently stopped working. I get as far as choosing the photo I want to use from my library and after it just shows a brief loading circle and does nothing. Every single time now.

Not working. I paid for the app and was able to use it once. After that every time I open the app it’s saying "something error happened". I uninstalled and reinstalled it too but it’s the same. Please provide a solution for this

Pretty good...... Disappointed that there aren’t more photos of Chicago. There are only two I can find: one of the Chicago tribune building, which is awesome, and one of the TRUMP (gag) building. Is this app pro trump? Because it kinda seems like it.......
