Good information on oils, needs a reference for symptoms. Live the detail of the oils. Would be my go to app for oils, if I could look up the use of oils by symptom.

Unsafe usage recommendations. This app has some helpful basic information on individual essential oils, but the usage recommendations are unsafe. For example, milk will not properly dilute essential oils in the bath, nor is it safe to add lemon oil to your water as water does not dissolve oils. Therapeutic room sprays- especially if you will also be spraying yourself- should be made using a proper solvent (such as 100 proof or greater alcohol or polysorbate 80) and a preservative to avoid growth of bacteria or mild. This app perpetuates so much of the unsafe usage recommendations that are readily available through Pinterest and MLMs. I consider myself fairly well educated in this area as I am an aromatherapy student and I have studied many reputable Aromatherapy textbooks including Tisserand & Young’s Safety book.

Not worth the money. I purchased this app because I really, really want a good app both to use as a reference guide for essential oils as well as to have a way to keep track of my own oil collection. I chose this one based on the number of positive reviews and the fact that it didn’t appear to be owned by a single EO brand that was looking to sell their own products. Now that I have paid for it and downloaded it, I see that it was not worth the price. It does not include many oils which I myself own or am interested in and it does not have an option to add oils. There are very few blend recommendations and the search options are clumsy to use and require you to wade through the entire oil descriptions. The point of an app is easier ability to get straight to what I am looking for but if I have to dig this much I might as well just be on a free website. There is very little included in the app that isn’t basic information available on any EO website or reference book. The way the app tries to force you to send them emails is also annoying. The app developers claim that they are aspiring to be the best EO reference out there and perhaps they could achieve their goal if they continue to build the oil database and improve the search features but for now it is not worth the price.

Glad for phone app. I use and study EO’s. I take notes on EO’s in another format and would like to add my notes into the note section of this app using my phone camera and photos. Can you please add an option to transfer photo data, so I don’t need to retype the important information I want to add to the “notes” option. Otherwise, I live this app. Thanks for your help.

Have email or text option. Good app however would be nice to export recipes via text email etc

Easy to use. I like being able to have access to eo information on my phone. This app is worth it , so far no problems.

This is a perfect app. Extremely complete guide about essential oils. You can also bookmark your favorite oils and write notes. Great!

A little disappointed. I like the information on this app but I guess I was under the misconception that it would have information on doTerra Essential oils. Like info on "Breath" or "On Guard". Or at least recommend quality Essential Oil products.

An App that’s not just for doTerra or Young Living. Even though when you try and email support, it shows that it’s a doTerra rep or somebody. There are a few apps very similar, even with the same name and design, however, those app refer to having info on doTerra and Young Living. So, I believe I got the right app for all Essential Oil lovers and not navigated toward doTerra and Young Living. I chose the “Essential Oils Reference” app that had “medical” right below it. Some have “health & fitness,etc...” Happy with this particular App!!!! Thank you!!!!!

Disappointed. I paid money for this app based on the reviews. It lists oils to use for ailments, then it gives you a few recipes. The problem is, there are always multiple oils in each recipe that are not listed. So, after painstakingly collecting the 6 or 7 oils listed over several months because, let's be honest, oils are not cheap, only to find that you don't have all the ingredients after all, and you even have some that are on the list, but not in any of the recipes. I haven't read one yet that this doesn't apply to. Don't waste your money on this app, unless things like that don't bother you, or you have plenty of money to waste.

Appalled. I cannot believe the poor and dangerous advise this app gives with a complete disregard for standard safety with EOs! I was looking for an app to obtain quick info on EOs when away from quality book access and this is not the app for that! Nothing in the description states that this is a DoTerra app. Completely misleading!

Best EO App out There!. This is the must have app for anyone that uses essential oils. Its laid out beautifullly, easy to navigate and so informative. Outstanding!

Incredible!. I'm new to oils and I find this app to be easy to navigate and truly knowledgeable. Probably one of my top 5 favorite apps on my phone.

THIS APP HAS NO CONTENT!!!. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement! The only page in this app is the cover page, which is set up to be the directory. When I tried to open the five different sections, the pages were nothing but blank lines. This app is a scam!

Helpful!. Not only are these high quality essential oils, but their app helps with the application of those oils in your everyday life, for use in your first aid cabinet, and for use on the chronic aches and pains. Prevention and relief, in an encyclopedic format with the ability to bookmark your favorites.

Essential Oils Ap. New in the Essential Oil field and really have a lot to learn. This Ap is so helpful, whenever I have a question or concern, it is nice to know I have someplace I can go to find answers. I would recommend you find a DoTERRA source for working with animals as there are good sources who recommend DoTERRA Oils. That’s the only part I would edit so far.

This app has it all!!. Every question you have ever had about essential oils is covered in here. I'm not new to essential oils and I almost didn't get this app because I thought it was superficial. I was wrong. It covers from basics to little details. Every essential oil user should have this app

Excellent resource. I have a few different essential oil Apps I use for reference. This App has quickly become my “go to,” and the best resource for in-depth yet easy to understand information on my numerous oils. I also like it because I find oil information here that’s missing from the other Apps. For example, I was just trying to locate details on the use of Tumeric essential oil and none of my other Apps even had Tumeric listed. I’m studying to become certified as an aromatherapist so it’s critical I have multiple resources to refer to on some of the less well known oils. Most Apps seem to only focus on the most common ones so I’m grateful to have this resource available.

Love this app. I am new to using essential oils and love the flexibility of finding essential oils to use for specific ailments and use it almost daily. A must have for any essential oil user.

DoTerra app. I love the use of the app, but disappointed at some questionable advice. There is really no regulation regarding essential oils, nor an independent body that certifies the quality of oils. When I tried to reach support, it said Support: Subject: doTerra oils - Support. For me, an indicator that the person behind the app works for doTerra, even if only as an independent sales rep. Feeling cheated, because in a review she stated that this is not a DoTerra app. Only three stars for that.

Not worth $. Other apps for $2.99 $0.99 and FREE have the same or more info! Annoyed I purchased because “top rated”. Pinterest has a lot more info & easier to find! Ridiculous.

Great simple to use. I am really liking this app. Everything is so organized and simple to find and use. There is a lot of information that is very useful.

Very little information. This app has WAY too little information to charge this premium!! It would be acceptable if it was free but there is not enough info on ailments to compare with other essential oil apps

Just the basics. It does give a detailed description of many essential oils. But, that is something that can be found quickly on the internet. There are also many ailments included, but only a few essential oils that can treat them and only 1 recipe per ailment per type of application. Often the recipes include essential oils that aren’t listed as treatment oils. Another thing that would be so helpful would be to have specific classifications, such as: calming, energy, antibacterial, antiseptic,...and then a list of essential oils with that property. Overall I am greatly disappointed.

Essential oil app. Overall nice design. It would be helpful to include the reflex charts of hands, feet and ears in the topical uses area. It would also be helpful to separate the “blends well with” details from the rest of the description. The search is a bit slow and lagging.

Helpful. I'm new to using essential oils so this app was very helpful the only thing is the recipes did confuse me at first so maybe a little rewording would help with that.

Exactly the same as Doterra oils app!. A bit disappointing to see it is exactly the same as Doterra app although interface and content is portrayed to be different. You only realise this after buying. A tad sneaky, I think.

What the actual F***. So I’m not sure where the great rating and 1K reviews come from, because this app is HORRIBLE!!!!! I literally thought I’d downloaded the wrong app because this app does not fit it’s description AT ALL. literally be a better use of money by burning it for it’s therapeutic qualities than using this app

No longer useful. This used to have an ailments page you could search by what you need it for. Now you have to read through every oil and blend and there is very little info now on what it’s good for. I deleted it.

Awesome app. So easy to use and so much great information!!! As a new doTERRA user this app provides so much useful information about the oils or what oil to use for your ailments.

Inconsistent search facility. Searches - if there is no exact there is no "not found" message or any indication if the search is actually working. Also searches are hit and miss. Type in "dry" nothing happens. Type "dry skin" and it shows Dry Skin. Type "burn" and it shows many ailments not specific to a burn but likely have the word "burn" in the discussion. Inconsistent.

Good for a free App. . .. I like everything about it, add more content, pictures and make it available to download a PDF so I can share this in class or something. I would be willing to pay for this

So convenient, use it daily. It would be great to have different options for titles other than Recipe 1, 2 etc. You have to read every recipe before you know if it is topical, inhaled, or consumed etc. More detail on the uses of the essential oil would also be great. It lists the oils that are good for the ailment, yet the recipes use several oils that are not listed! On the list of oils, it would be great if the most common or retail accessible one could be noted somehow.

Handy Resource. I am new to using oils to treat common ailments. This app is a handy resource for that purpose.
