Sheltered Game Description & Overview

What is sheltered app? Sheltered is a post-apocalyptic disaster management game that gives a whole new meaning to the term “nuclear family”. Given a head-start over the billions lost in a nuclear holocaust, you must gather as many supplies as possible en route to the concrete underground shelter that will soon become your family home for the foreseeable dire future.

As the overwhelming despair of this new world surrounds you, how will you survive? Your approach to the countless moral choices you’ll be faced with on a daily basis, could be the difference between the lives of your family or their unfortunate end. Resources are scarce though, with barely enough to cling desperately to life for another day you’re already faced with a monumental choice. Who will you send to venture out into the vast unforgiving wasteland? Whilst exploration is a traumatic experience, the weapons you can craft from resources could tip the scales of life or death in your favour. Assaults from feral beasts and roaming factions are endlessly closing in, imminent and deadly risks surround you.
‘Violence is never the answer’… Maybe you once believed that, but combat may now be your only option for survival. As you and your family grow and progress, so do their skills, attributes and weaknesses. Ensure that they’re well equipped as you strategize, securing victory against those who threaten the survival of your family in tense turn based combat.

Very nice. I like the aspect of balancing water consumption, food regulation, as well as keeping machines functioning and upgrading them. It is however rather difficult to completely understand all of the aspects such as the purpose of some items as well as how certain stats such as charisma affect the game (although it is fairly obvious). You have to make decisions on what to take and what to leave, make the most out of a gas mask and keep each person happy. You may need to watch a video or two, maybe read a guide to an item you don’t get. Additionally, reading each item for an idea instead of having a tutorial to outline the basics is difficult. Otherwise, the game is very solid and is comparable to this war of mine or fallout shelter.

Great but.... I love this game because of the balance of food and water and how there is stress and trauma and you can really feel you are in a post-apocalyptic world. But, there are problems with some game mechanics. For example, after playing this for a month or two I still can’t figure out how to build a third floor (help me please). Overall, great game but needs fixes and a few more craft-able items to add variety.

Mislead. I thought, like most, this game was one to play, build and continue for long periods of time. Now I see it’s more like tunnel run.. or others like that.. just open app, select quick family and see how long you last. It’s not made to be a sustainable game like fallout shelter. This is why it’s hard to find stuff etc.

Not for the faint of heart. The game is cool. It’s somewhat more realistic than your average post-apocalyptic survival game. You don’t just pay $2 and get a shipment of gear, and your inhabitants don’t exactly take care of themselves. Even on easy mode, the game is ridiculously challenging, you have to send people out all the time, otherwise, your shelter is going to be a mess of bodies lying in their own filth and waiting for sweet departure. The game is honestly hard up to a fault. I (personally)can’t have fun unless I look online for guides. I wouldn’t recommend this to a casual gamer, or someone looking to have something like animal crossing that is just an escapist task you do every day. If you aren’t up for the challenge, be warned!

Like a contemporary Oregon Trail, but.... Awesome, lots of fun, addicting, but buggy as hell. I forgot to upgrade my air filter and people were suffocating; one woman ran to the surface where... she just stands there. I can’t tell her what to do, she won’t move an inch... Also, I got the warning that raiders would attack me soon; two weeks later: no raiders and I still can’t send people into the wasteland or craft things or recycle things or even access anyone. It’s a complete standstill. What. The. Crapola.

Can download. I’ve reset my phone and tried about 10 times and it keeps stoping at the same percent but when I go to the App Store it says it has not downloaded at ALL!!!!

Sheltered 2 on mobile??. Sooooo when’s sheltered 2 coming on mobile I have tons of hours on steam already just waiting for it to come out on here

Desktop is better. I was introduced to this game through the App store and enjoyed it on my iPad, but learned that the app is basically a buggy port of the original desktop version. I got the desktop version for my MacBook through Steam and it is infinitely better... I could never go back to playing this on iPad, not only are the controls buggy on iPad, but the desktop version offers more balanced gameplay, more equipment slots, and add-on scenarios that never made it to the app. Given that this game has such low hardware requirements, it is a shame that the developers never bothered to update the App version.

Recommendation. Please make it possible for feeding the pet an automatic action. Also please add “are you sure you want to _?” buttons, those are actually really convenient. I’ve been struggling for food and someone who could have had food came to my shelter to trade. I hit “no” by accident and couldn’t go back. I also hit “no” when I was asked to take a look at some items at a house.

4 Star And Gas Masks. I would give it a 5 star but how the gas mask is a one time use is dumb in it self. But how you cant craft them IS WORSE! How i am suppose to go out on expedtions?! If i send them out with no mask theyll die?! I really think this should be changed Thank you

I want to love it..... I want to love this game so much. It’s such a fun game and I’ve played for hours....but I think I have to give it up. The issue is that there are inventory bugs. What happens is: I’ll send my players on missions and carefully cultivate their treasures....until they get back to the shelter and the game just DELETES a random subset of the goods they collected. I thought I was missing something, so I googled the issue. There are threads from 2015 with my same issue, which obviously has not been fixed by now. It’s sad because this is a great game except for this issue.

Buggy, but massively addictive. I have effortlessly put over 40 hours into this game, with less friction than many big RPG titles. The gameplay is addictive and has such a huge variety of things to do, it just clicks perfectly with me. It’s very buggy, but no major catastrophes happened. There were more than a few hilarious surprises in store for me. Let’s just say, be sure your new recruits get out of the vault every once in a while! You don’t want them to get too stir crazy. I will say that once you get pretty stabilized and into a rhythm the game starts to get a bit tedious, because truly there is no ultimate goal other than to survive as long as you can. Once you get past day 200 or 250 you’ll probably get bored, but it takes quite a while to get to that point and I think the cost of this game is more than worth the many hours of entertainment it provides. The only caution I would give is that it can be pretty difficult at the beginning to get your shelter established. Be sure to focus on collecting water as much as you can in the beginning, and realize that you need to be pretty much constantly sending people out to gather supplies at the start. There are many excellent guides online to help you out if need be. Have fun!

Easily my favorite. No matter how many apps I try, I always come back to Sheltered. The pessimism of pushing to survive in a hopeless world is my JAM man. That said! Devs! I’d love for there to be a way to amp up difficulty once the game begins. Like, maybe with every new shelter you start, one of the adjustable settings shifts. I think it would add a lot more fun to the late game! Please take this into consideration, I love this app to bits.

Favourite mobile game. This game is great my favourite mobile game I have ever played. Now yes the price does bother me but I understand that they have to make money and with no in app-purchases makes it all skill based “ which I love”. My one issue is that showers sometimes glitch and they won’t take one I usually have to reset the day by backing out of the game and refreshing. Everything else is great and hope that they keep up the great work.

Needs an update. Great foundation for a game. Seems impossibly difficult in harder modes but you can eventually turn a corner where the game gets easy on any difficulty level. While I could still see myself enjoy8mg the game, without updates, there is nothing new to discover.

Very good game but there are serious glitches. I have enjoyed the game and have fun figuring out how things work. However, when two members of the family vanished into thin air after leaving for an expedition, I must tap out until the glitch has been fixed. It seems as if this is not a unique problem from reading other reviews.

Great but fix this glitch. The game is really fun and I was starting to get the hang of it until I sent out two of my family members on a mission. At that point the game glitches and the other member didn’t leave and just stood there, and I wasn’t able to use him. I thought I was fine but after 10 days no response from my other member so I just kept fast forwarding until I came to the conclusion that they were lost for good. So please fix this!!!

Great game except the combat. This is a very good game with great replay ability value. My only complaint is that the combat is too easy and there’s almost zero strategy involved. If they expanded on the combat part of the game even a little bit, the game would be a five star game for me.

Very fun but.... I’m seeing an issue that was present in the Steam version. I’ve sent a few members of my family and the dog on a mission. I then saved and exited the game when I came back in it shows the message “Locations Searched: 0” I then close that and look at the map. It doesn’t show the members there and I can’t recall them. They are more or less last at this point and not recoverable. I’m 163 days in and now have to start over again.

Cool concept but gets annoying quick. I just spent 15 game days searching for a single hinge to build a freezer so that my family could eat the deer that was stuck in a trap the whole time. Not a hinge in all the land. They all died. The deer seems to still be fine though. Why can’t you just make a fire and cook the animal you caught..or maybe eat the honey and ginger you find everywhere? Great look and concept, but broken logic and the rigid order you have to do things to survive for long make it more frustrating than fun for me.

Imagine Fallout Shelter without the micro-transactions. If you acknowledged Fallout Shelter was an absurd cash grab with micro-transactions and artificially bloated wait times, Sheltered is the game you actually wanted. Its super fun, with a high learning curve. Things that could make the game better: -Have a mechanism for quickly setting the number for how many items you want to move from one menu box to another. When it gets to high-volume trades, moving 50 items one-by-one gets irritating. -Add an automatic maintenance bot. Once you have all the tools and 5+ shelter inhabitants, the fear of something breaking down are more of an inconvenience than an actual threat to the shelter. At that stage, it makes sense to offload the responsibility to a bot, so the player can concentrate on missions. -Add a higher-stakes plot that the player can engage in once they’re locked and loaded with the best stuff. The current “Yay! You can start over!” is kind of lame. -Force the player to take the offensive once the defensive measures are adequate for steamrolling would-be raiders. -I got the impression from some of the character designs that people and creatures were mutating over time... which would be totally awesome if that was actually the case.

Game well done). The game is super fun and engaging, also could be somewhat challenging at first, requires you to learn it on your own, as the in-game tutorial is short and covers very little. So play carefully, attentively and plan your actions in advance, as there are some randomness in events. But, when you learn its specifics, it becomes very entertaining and with quite a few fun turns. Minor issue: in general storage view, its UI scroll element is missing and not working (iPone7plus).

Saving issues. I enjoy the game but saving seems random? I can’t find a button, and the auto save (however that happens) seems random and long. It’s frustrating to leave the game and come back to find that you lost the last three expeditions you did. When does this save? How does it save? And can you make it better? Cause I lost a couple hours of game play and that makes you not want to play.

Unable to build 3rd floor. I tried sending this into support but the website kept giving me an error so I couldn’t. The game is great, however now I am a bit stuck because I can’t expand my shelter to the third lower level. The gameplay won’t allow me to place the ladder on the third lower level. I have tried in multiple positions with no success. Any advice?

Fun Game!. Downloaded it yesterday and already have 10+ hours into it. Only problem is one of the members of my shelter died in bed, however, I couldn’t remove the corpse. So I had the bed deconstructed and the body disappeared. Only problem is the rest of the members of the shelter are complaining about the corpse. This is the only bug I’ve encountered so far. Overall a great game!

Needs an Update!!!!!. I love this game, but It needs updates!! I recently started playing on PC, and I like that version because it gives you a trash bin outside incase you can’t fit everything in your shelter. Why doesn’t mobile have anything like that, or at lest give us the option to make a bin. We need more things to do and make! How about being able to raid other shelters and not just be raided. The kids should be able to grow up and have kids of there own so we’re not just taking in random people. Mobile gamers need updates to not just PC!

Couldn’t stop playing. This game is a lot of fun. So fun it kept me up late several nights in a row.. I literally couldn’t stop playing it, until it gave me no choice. I tried this game on hardcore and have had a few good runs, the problem is that every time I get going I have random bugs come in and ruin it, the last one I was playing I got to day 60 and sent out some scavenger parties just for them to never return, while my last person was “under attack”by enemies that didn’t show up for days and was stuck with no air unable to perform any actions whatsoever. Go work for EA if you’re just going to charge people for games that you never plan on finishing.

Buggy. Game has breaking bugs. When you google the bugs, the devs say they are looking into the bugs. Then you look at the date. Three years ago for the pc version. Bugs still exist now. Bugs that will ruin your fun. I had two people go to sleep and wake up and instantly die. For no reason. No fun. Do not reward these awful devs with your money. Regret purchase.

Great, but.... I like this game quite a bit, but I feel that it is too difficult. It took me a long time to discover how to use things and I still don't think I'm doing things right. I was really confused and I think there should be a more thorough tutorial. I also happen to always die of starvation since it is so difficult to find food. Not to mention that all of the pets die quickly since I don't have enough rations to share. Even on easy, rain is sometimes rare and I can't go and explore so I can solve the issue on starvation. Good game, but I think it should be a bit easier on easy.

[update-fixed!] Bug - can’t save. I was playing this about a month ago and everything was working well. The save gear icon was in the upper left corner on my iPhone X. I picked the game up again today, moved to the second map, and now there is a display for character’s status in the upper left, covering the gear icon. I cannot save any progress! Please fix! Thanks [update-shortly after my review complaining of a save problem, the game has been fixed! Dunno if it was in response to my specific review, but great responsiveness to addressing issues either way!]

Challenging & Fun. This is a game that has been out for a while, and because of that, it comes with no ads, micro-transactions, or anything that makes the game easier. It makes the game purely skill-based, which is something I strive to look for. These older games were made before the “wave of the ads” came in, and that’s why I strongly suggest this game rather than other more modern games of similar style.

Honestly the game I’ve been waiting for a long time. Since I bought this game on Steam I knew I need it in my new iPad Pro to play everywhere. So when I saw Sheltered on my iPad AppStore I was so excited to play it on my way to the office or school. Love this game!

Love this game, please read devs. Hello, I’ve been playing this game for weeks, awesome time killer and I enjoy doing different runs with characters, my only wish is that there would be at least one last update to add an auto fix mechanic to have a shelter member run repairs in between caring for their food and water etc. needs, other than that this game is phenomenal. Big thanks to the devs for this one.

I would like this game more if. Small bugs like characters who stop working were addressed. The UI elements were revisited for the iPad. There should be no need for users to scroll through to see the last two items. This is lazy UI design carried over from the iPhone screen format. The camera zoomed smoothly instead of snapping. It were given the polish it deserves.

Needs work. This game is awesome and is very fun, I believe that it needs to be updates a little more frequently to keep more interest in the game. What made me give it 2 stars was the bugs... I was doing great in the game when suddenly my party that I sent out disappeared. I restarted the game and they eventually returned but my horse didn’t, nor the loot they gained from the expedition. My people are glitched with their gas masks stuck. Extremely frustrating I made it to day 86 just to have that happen. I’ve had this problem twice in a row now. NEEDS WORK. Fun game, needs work.

Help 😂. I love the game but maybe add more to do after you upgrade everything and make it take the full screen on the 11pro max and below because it uses 3/4 of my screen so it’s hard to play

Title needs update. Thoroughly enjoyed playing through this gem of a game. I’ve bought it for PlayStation as well as smartphone. Even purchased it for pc. What I noticed on pc is that the pc variant actually receives updates whereas PS4 and smartphone do not seem to have the added content and scenarios. Why? Please keep adding content.

Great Game. Personally, I think this game is great. Although it gets a little boring after around 300 days, it’s a very fun and addicting game. There are a lot of 8 year olds in the comments/reviews saying ‘oH mY uNcLe mAdE cAll oF dUtY aNd tHiS iS tRaSh’ but for anyone with an IQ above room temperature, this is a pretty fun game. Now, this game is also pretty hard. I’ve had at least two families die because I couldn’t find a freaking hinge to make a freezer to harvest a deer, but overall it’s a great game.

Title. Is such a great game and so fun to play. It’s addicting and a great experience but one downside is that there are a lot of commands and things to learn on how to play the game and the tutorial doesn’t cover much on all the ways to play the game

YOU CAN’T FINISH!! Do **NOT** buy! 🤬. They haven’t coded a way to fuel the camper! Whyyyyyy?!? I have all the parts after hours and hours of playing. I can check the camper but there’s no option to add fuel. I have PLENTY of fuel (like over 50 full cans) but can’t transfer them over to the camper. There’s no option to open storage and transfer the fuel that way. How did an error like this “slip” through QA? Did the maker decide that it didn’t matter because they wanted to publish the game quickly to get money and they dismissed players’ dissatisfaction? Is there any plans to add the ability to actually use the vehicle for which players put so many hours searching for parts?

Could be so good if the controls weren’t so bad.. By five minutes after the tutorial ended I was yelling at my screen “where’s the workbench! Stop telling me to use the workbench; I’m trying to find the stupid thing!” The tutorial starts out well, then it seems like they got tired of making it and stopped before giving you half the basic info you need to play the game.

love this game but can’t sync on other phones. I got a new phone and want to move all records from old phone to the new one but it failed through Game Center. I am so upset about it. Any one have some problem with me? I really like this game, want to keep playing on my new phone.

Like it no love it. It’s just great it has A great atmosphere and it’s just also great game I have multiple suggestions like creative cakewalk mode which is basically an easier then easy.

This game is amazing but .... I’ve had to start over twice ... I made it to 167 days on my first run and 13 days in my second before this bug or glitch happened ... but my expedition party disappeared after opening up my game ... I’m really trying to enjoy this game but it is heavily losing any immersion I’ve placed if the family members I put time into growing suddenly disappear before returning back home ... fix this please.... seriously ....... Almost a month later and still nothing ? I returned to this game ... foolishly ... the SAME EXACT issue happened again ... my expedition party disappeared as if they were never there ... can I have my money back ? I don’t understand how you guys have a whole new dlc for pc etc but couldnt Work the kinks for mobile ? Why release a glitchy product ? I really want to enjoy this on the go without needing my switch

Great but.... The game is great so far, but I have to give it four stars at the moment because of two things. First, I wish the zoom was more fluid. I can zoom in and out only by a single tick. I’d love to be able to frame the screen view to the depth I want; like Fallout Shelter. Second, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE and iPhoneX compatibility.

Controls Abysmal. Simplified controls don’t work well. Clicking repeatedly on toons and does not recognize. Have to click items repeatedly at times to select. Finding controls extremely frustrating and marring the game experience. Rearranging... set an item in place, it keeps moving. Or, set another item an the previous item starts moving. Give toon directions, click on item for maintenance, previous toon forgoes instructions and goes to that local. Controls need tweaking badly. Basic tutorial minimal, trial and error. Still can’t place trip wires nor traps. No explanation, not intuitive minimal issue so far). Look like it can be a fun game when controls fixed. iPad Pro user, so not a small screen.

Infuriating game-ruining bug. I’m playing along happily, then I save and close the game. If I have a party out exploring when I save the game, about 60% of the time when I reload the game, they have disappeared and never come back. They aren’t dying, they’re simply erased. This has happened in six of my families so far. The game itself is pretty fun and challenging. I’d like to see some expansion of resources/craftables, maybe some variations on opponents and quests, etcetera, but the family-breaking bug ruins everything.

Decent pet simulator. It’s enjoyable for a little while, but it gets repetitive fairly quick. There’s just not enough content. You’ll get repeated dialogues constantly, such as the little journal that updates periodically. It just keeps updating with the same couple canned entries over and over! Eventually it becomes very slow paced and you’re just stuck grinding for some pointless upgrades. Very little challenge on normal mode, almost nothing poses any threat once you get your food and water sorted. It’s ok but I’m glad I didn’t pay full price

☑️✅. Hey developer very great game just wanted to say hope there’s updates and new things coming soon been playing for 3 years now

Storage. Great game in every way, would gladly pay more for games like these. Only bug I’ve found has to do with storage. There is no down arrow to look thru the inventory. I’m also not able to rearrange my inventory in the storage. I’m only up to the small crate and hoping this self fixes with the medium crate.

Great but there’s a bug. Where the guy character got stuck forever when he was about to go out to the house. Usually when it got interrupted. Created a few saves and they’re all like that.

Love this game. Well worth the purchase. I have spent a lot of time on this game, and it is one that will keep you coming back. Found Issues: - sometimes the expedition map is ridiculously slow to navigate around - keeps telling me I’m at full storage capacity, despite the fact I have ample room in both fridges and crates. This seems to only be cosmetic, rather than affect game play (I still get the items... it just causes me to panic, lol) - have to keep furniture and items ‘green’ when rearranging shelter, otherwise moved item stays ‘red’, even with a floor to itself. ***No game breaking issues; these are easily worked around*** What I’d LOVE: - Character interaction - Generations - More. Seriously it’s a cool game.

More options. This is a very in-depth game, an interesting challenge and frustratingly fun but I’ve noticed that some options in character creation and map generation are a bit limited.

Great game. It’s an amazing game however even on easy mode I find it impossible to get food can anyone help me out with this?

Amazing!!!! 👍👍👍. When I watched some YouTuber’s Play this game (On PC) I thought that this game was amazing, that was like a year ago-ish. And a few days ago found it then almost fainted, then I bought it straight away and was amazed with everything else it was exactly like the PC version. So if this is anyone’s first time seeing this it is so amazing, if you like post-apocalyptic games like this

Great game but....... This game is so much fun but there was the ending that bugged me I wish you could make a endless mode.

Great game. I have this game on steam. And I play it non stop. Glad it has come to mobile

Good but needs some work. I gotta say, its great! But its a little rough around the edges, id hope theirs going to be future updates that iron out some things but over all so far. Its great would definitely recommend.

Hope there’s an update or sequel. I really like this game for to many reason, I hope there’s an update or a sequel to fix and improve parts of this game

Pretty good, however one big bug... The game does an amazing job at putting you into a dystopian setting and has great combat/expedition mechanics. However there’s one huge problem with the caravan. I returner home with the last part required to repair it and fit it. Shortly after i got raided (the raiders got no where near taking anything, they both got filled with lead) and cleaned up the base after what happened. Since nothing was taken I was able to go on an expedition with the rv as planned. So i map it out and set off. After finding one location i save the game and exit but when i come back the characters I chose along with the items i gave them and the rv have dissapeared and won’t come back? The charatcers did after five days with an error message popping up as they return but the rv and the items are still missing? Keep in mind this was around day 180

Needs an update for newer phones. Huge black borders around the game.. Don’t let the trailer deceive you, it uses more screen space than the actual game does, the game for some reason has large borders on each side and borders at the top and bottom of the screen. It may be uses about 75% of screen space, this is unacceptable. I’m tired of developers not updating their games for newer phones, it not only looks terrible, but makes it difficult to read the text, and it makes it difficult to click on the in-game icons and items. I’m going to be asking for a refund for this one.

Good fun, very good value. Great atmosphere and mechanics, fallout vibes. Could use a little polish and would like to see more major story elements rather than go here get that quests. Spent many hours with this game, good fun.

Good but.... I really enjoyed this game, easy setting really isn’t easy, and I find getting food a little hard even with meat you have to have a freezer which I kind of get.. a better tutorial to start word be awesome and when you save the game for it to actually save at the spot you saved not pushed back ...

Nice game but it could be better. This game has been hooked on me for the past two weeks, I love it. I love the idea of finding something that could have literally anything inside, but. I wish there was a sandbox, no not for people to cheat at the game but for people who are new and who want to get better at the game by playing it with no restrictions. (resources, needs, etc.) it could provide a better way to get used to how everything works.

Small text. Text in the game are a bit too small on mobile to read

Try this game out. This game is really fun and it draws you in. Super underrated, this game should be 100x more popular

Disappointed. I wish there was a free trial for this game (hopefully I hadn’t just missed it), but it isn’t good to play on a tiny device like an iPod. I don’t recommend that. Icons are small, game is basically maintenance of characters hygiene and space. Babysitting characters on my iPod isn’t what I wanted. I wouldn’t have purchase this if I had tried it first. Maybe it would be better on an iPad.

Good but one thing. On iphone XR the border are all black and this is ugly but the game is great

5. Really fun game if you’re into post apocalyptic worlds , gives off a little bit of a fallout shelter vibe but it stands on its own. Definitely one to check it out , I started playing it and didn’t realize the time lol

Great game. This is honestly one of my favourite games I have ever played mobile. It is awesome and fun, I already recommended it to my friends. If you are looking for a game worth your money, this is it.

Superb. Wonderfully challenging and fun!

Fun… until the bugs come out to play.. Game is addictive, however after a while NPCs and your characters will become frozen and you can’t select them again. I’ve tried restarting the game but to no avail. Please fix this devs, as I’d like to see a good paid game like this polished for all players to enjoy. Thanks.

I love this game. Can you make it available for older platforms and can you add more chances of food find

Regret buying 👎🏻. Played three times threw now and keep running out of food... wish there was a better tutorial on trading with others and scavenging!

Can’t craft items on iohone7. Can’t craft gas masks. I’m using IPhone 7 Is there a fix for the bug?

Great but.... Really great game, very big fan. Just one thing, add multiplayer, it would make the game a lot more interesting for sure

Good game. Really fun game to play if you are bored. But food is almost impossible to find and my family is almost always starving. But all in all this is a good game for it’s price.

Love it. Only two stars cuz I can’t build into the third level of the base. Please help and I’ll Chan’s this to a fixed star.

Developers should be ashamed for this garbage.. What a retarded game.

More UPDATE. Please add season circle in to the game and more stuff

Fun, but. This is fun! But one question: have you added Stasis and Surrounded mode?

I’m in love. I started playing this game at 9:47 pm on a Friday and once I looked up from my tablet, the sun was pouring through my windows.

Please add sandbox mode. The game is good but they should add a sandbox mode which means that you won’t need items to craft, upgrade or need food, water and gas

Great idea, frustrating controls. This game lies somewhere between the “tap-to-solve-crisis” cartoonishness of Fallout Shelter and the “search for sticks before you can make a fire, or animals will eat your food while you sleep” detail of Day R. Which sounds great, but falls flat due to control and UI issues. The shelter itself becomes like those “hunt-the-pixel” adventure games where it takes you longer to find the exact bit of scenery you have to tap to feed the dog than to actually feed the dog. Similarly, it takes constant tapping to figure out what bits of the shelter need maintenance, which characters need what care, and which are getting critical. But the most frustrating aspect is the inventory system of Minecraft style “slots” where a single nail takes up one slot, same as 5 canisters of gasoline. (Makes sense-right? Day R’s “weight” system was immensely better!) As a result of this system, you get stuck in trading and scavenging (and even “coming home”) situations where you spend more time figuring out how to stack your stuff than doing the actual exploration. Have you heard of this great invention called “the ground” where you can “put down” stuff and come back for it later? Similarly, the idea of family members having time to just sort of stand there is weird. While Day R perfectly nails the immense percentage of time needed to gather, prepare and preserve food (especially for a family of 4!), this game sort of glosses over that aspect and makes it about Minecraft-style tool tinkering instead. Please release a free trial version so people can find this out without paying money.

Bad. It’s Jumpy and freezes ALOT to the point it’s unplayable…

Nice. It’s fun but some more customizable settings would help because some of my stats are off screen

Needs more instruction. I watched a friend play this game and looked amazing, but when I went to play it it was basically impossible to figure out what to do. The “walkthrough” on this game is awful. You will need to spend hours going and watching videos and guides to understand how to play. Waste of money and time.

I’m 113 in the game. Respect me✊

Needs updated. The display is small on my IPhone X Your better off just playing on pc so you can see

Wish there was more. I love the game, but there is not enough in it. Once you reach a certain level it gets boring. Wish you could have more floors, with elevators and with air ducts. Also, you should be able to get a pet even if you don’t have one or yours dies. And they should add more special items.

Screen optimization!!. Need screen optimization for iPhone 12 Pro Max. Please!

iPhone X support. The game seems fun, but the black frame around the screen is pretty annoying. It would be awesome if the game supported it.

Game to vanish off my phone like my expeditions. 50 days in and half the family and the dog vanish. Another game, because I am a fool for thinking that was a fluke, and hours in — half the family and dog never make it back. Now the game is going to vanish off of my phone before I get suckered into wasting more time. Lame bugs ruin a good game.

Please add controller support in a future update.. Great game and love the mechanics just wish my fingers didn’t have to clog the screen.

Depression then death. On the very easiest level you will never last longer than 3 weeks it’s almost impossible to make a shower and if you do it doesn’t work. And everyone dies After 4 tries i was so fed up and depressed. No fun at all!!!!!!!!!

Nice Game ..But. The game plays fairly well, but seems too busy at times. The controls don’t always work well - I couldn’t bury a pet because the option showed once and then wouldn’t show again. The words mention recycling parts, but no item to do so. I’ve been playing easy mode for a while now. Can’t get beyond day 15 without all or most players starving. If there’s a steady supply of food somewhere, I haven’t found it. There are plenty of resources, but not food., plenty of traders, but not food, etc. I like the concept. Balancing player traits doesn’t amount to much without a food supply. ***** Seems only fair to say that I did get past day 15. We need water to go places, traps if we get stuck at home. But harvesting needs a freezer, that we can’t build without parts, etc. Get the parts by using the radio to bring traders, etc. The only drawback now seems that the game seems to go on forever, and eleven people in a shelter at once seems too much to manage. But if we dismiss recruits they wil damage our stuff, etc. The interfaces overlap so that people and items block each other. ******* Some parts of this game are not player friendly. Players stand in front of each other, so we can’t just tap them. On the trail, and at the shelter, players ask to join but the game doesn’t check to see if the shelter is already at max. So if we say yes, players suffocate. But if we say no at the shelter recruits damage our stuff. Likewise, if we dismiss a weak player to get a strong player, the player dismissed damages our stuff. When we open storage, the scroll fearure doesn’t work, so we can’t see all our stored items. A constant need to accept transmissions from expeditions is just a waste of time; adds simply nothing to the game.

Fun, but illogical.. This game is fun! I enjoy playing it, even though it doesn’t make sense. And it DOES NOT make sense. Here’s a list of how: 1. Why can’t I pre-arm and line up my shelter dwellers when an attacker is incoming? Why do I only get to use one character at a time, even if I have a whole group of people and a whole arsenal of weapons? Also, once that character gets hurt, why can’t I switch to another character to fight the next invader? Why must I use up my people until they die? 2. Why is it that my shelter dwellers can get smarter from reading the same book over and over again, and create a recycling center out of raw materials, but can’t craft their own springs, hinges, pipes, etc? 3. Since most combat takes place on missions, why can’t I use adrenaline during those fights? 4. Why does the pet cat starve to death even though it’s killing rats, unless you have a freezer, in which case the rats are deposited into the freezer, and you can feed the cat rat meat *from the freezer* that the cat has caught originally? Like, why can’t Guybrush (my shelter cat) eat his own rats as he catches them? (Same with the snake. Why does the snake starve to death even though it’s killing rats?) 5. Why are there no store-bought antiemetics in this world, even though there are lots of other drugs? 6. Edited to add: when I take my family to a new shelter, there is an icon in the upper left corner showing their stats. This icon covers he pause/ save icon, so I now can’t access the pause/save function. Can you fix this?

Good game! But... It’s a good game but sometimes some of the objects like the shower bugs out and the game thinks that it’s being used when it’s not, other than that great game!

Add more Content!. This is a GREAT game that can be even greater!!

Needs Update. Y’all need to update this game.

Might be good someday. The tutorial doesn’t really do a good job of telling you how to play. Hopefully the devs will improve this game soon.

No tutorial on how to move people. “Tap on an item to select it.” Doesn’t work. Can’t move people. Needs a more basic tutorial or it’s broken. Wasted $$.

Lag in offline game is a new one for me. Game always, I mean always lag at the start of the day if you fast forward it. Every day without a doubt it lags cannot stop . Sometimes I miss the traders or broadcast.

Update. This would be an absolutely fantastic game if you guys updated it regularly

Fun stuff. Not bad at all.

Ok. It could be more fair it’s like everyone dies in your family why couldn’t u make we’re the kids grow up and have baby’s I mean it make sense

I wanted to enjoy it.... I really wanted to enjoy this game. I liked the basic premise and flavor. However I kept encountering a lot of situations which left me feeling lukewarm. The touch interface doesn’t seem very optimal, as I frequently struggled to correctly tap onto my target within the shelter. I was often left frustrated as I sent my survivors moving around the shelter instead of acting on my intended target. And rearranging the shelter feels like a chore, with it being very easy to drag unintended items out of place. This plus a lack of any sort of “snap” system makes it difficult to get items in place without wasting space. I also felt that trying to keep all of my survivors doing something productive ( beyond consuming resources ) to be very tedious. I would have loved being able to automate survivors to seek out a task they could perform, such as repairing items or utilizing training items. A lack of certain macro-management tools was also a downer. There is no single list to show a summary of survivors and their statuses. Finally a lot of interactions lacked real flavor. All of the “quests” I encountered are short and predictable. Traders could only ever seem to care about lights, toys, books, and the idea that there might be vehicle parts out there. There also appeared to be no long-term consequences to choosing to fight or not in terms of forming potential relationships with factions. All in all, I wouldn’t look to this game to be the most fulfilling experience you ever had.

Love the concept, just seems a little unbalanced.... I’ve always loved post-apocalyptic themed games and this one could have a lot of potential to make it on to the indie pc scene. But to start, the tutorial is less than helpful. It introduces you to basic movement and interaction processes, but once you get past that you’re pretty much left on you own to figure stuff out and honestly, it could just be me, but I got kind of lost in what to do next. And this is where I feel it becomes unbalanced... So the necessities are food, water, and hygienic functions. You start with a small supply of food, and water. So you start an expedition to find more food. 2 different families I’ve played at this point and 8 expeditions between them, and I’ve only found 5 cans of food. So, I built a snare trap, because that’s the only thing my feeble little mind can build. I caught a rabbit. I go to harvest it and I can’t because I don’t have anywhere to to store the meat and leather. So I go to build some storage, and with no direction it seems as though the only place to store the meat is in a freezer. But that’s the tier 2 which I can’t access because I haven’t upgraded my work bench. So I go on more expeditions to try and find crap to upgrade my workbench, and I can’t, or I don’t have enough room in my storage at the shelter to keep it because of all the nonsense I started with. So I die of starvation. The drops on easy, aren’t any better. I just die slower. I’ll keep playing I see if it’s just my luck. But as for now, this is my review.

Update. This game has been out for awhile, time to update it and add some new features. I can only speedrun a full Freezer of meat so many times

Overly ambitious for a phone. Too much happening with this game and almost zero explanation of how to do anything. It’s entirely too Much detail for a phone and just accessing items is a drag. It has potential but I would have much rather seen a more last last of us user interface. Just a swing and a miss

Please fix. I didn’t have a problem with this before but now all of a sudden my game keeps crashing, please fix

Four years out and still no update. How do you sell a product and than abandon it? I get this isn’t the PC port but you can’t even update to fix the aspect ratio? Lazy developers. Don’t buy anything from them.

Very fun, almost as much as pc, but.... Huge bug. When ever I return to shelter with supplies, food disappears from my scavage, any help how to fix this MAJOR issue? Otherwise fantastic!

Too much micromanagement. Like the game and will keep playing but whyyyy do I have to do things like feed the dog and make residents go to the toilet? There should be a setting that automates that. (Maybe there is. I am a new player)

Terrible mobile interface. I enjoy the desktop version but very little has been done to optimize the UI for tablets. The controls are cramped and hard to use, data is in awkward places, and it’s obvious this was a low-effort port. Very disappointed.

Glitches. Honestly, this game is amazing. I play it a lot, and from the time I have played it, I have to report some glitches. I hope you take these into consideration. 1. I usually play and just close out of the game and i go back on and it usually works. But sometimes it reset the game, and that’s fine but when I... let’s say I Set up and exposition and I close the game and it resets, sometimes it doesn’t save so I’m back to make it again. It honestly not a big deal, but try to fix it. 2. This one is a little annoying, so I built a luxury shower and it had been used for a while. But once it has been used for a while, it doesn’t give the option to take a shower, it’s like it didn’t even exist, this happened everytime I deconstructed and built it. This happened to a few other thing but this is the one that happened most often 3. This one caused me to delete one of my games that had 200+ Days. So when I do the close game and re open it while it’s on an expedition (This usually only happens when I take the camper van) I close the game, it resets and I open the game file, then I came up to the exposition not even there anymore, it says on the map there is a expedition, but the green marker is at the shelter, and you can’t see the path you made, you can still recall it, but no one will come back. It is very annoying. If you hope you guys take the time to read my post. It might have some writing error since I was in a hurry. I thank you for making such an amazing game, and take the time and effort to make it better Sincerely, Lucas

Game would be really neat. If it worked.. I have an iPhone XS Max and this game just doesn’t load right. Constantly freezes and can barely work through the tutorial. Hope they fix it in an update.

LOVE IT. This game reminds me a lot like this war of mine. It’s really good. Also I swear I do feel bad when the pets died and I have to use it for food. 😢

Gets repetitive mid-game. You guys should add more Items and weapons into the game like a katana

very underrated. what a gem. quality game

Love this game. It great

It’s buggy. The Game runs good but it’s really buggy and hard to get the family to move and objects are hard to move.

Don’t bother. Tutorial is pointless. Touch controls are iffy...at best. Graphics (even for 8 bit) are too blurry. It doesn’t feel like a finished game at all, and I’ve tried several times to get into it. At least I bought it for $2 and won’t be upset. Just disappointed.

Nice. Very good game

Update for iPhone X. The small screen ratio on the app makes it annoying to use on the iPhone X.
