Works as described. Despite all bad reviews listed, it worked for me just as described. Using iPad Pro 9.7, with iOS 11.4. Either it’s been upgraded or I’m smarter than I ever thought in making it work. Less than 7 minutes by following instructions included in package. Keep up great work.

Honesty. Left my card in the laundry machine and the nice staff held it at the counter and searched me out to give it back…this action gave me a great feeling, just knowing that I’m surrounded by honest people while doing laundry at clean rite in Brooklyn on Flatlands Ave… Like to say Thanks to the Asst. Manager, Brandon and Leah for their time and Patience and ensuring that the card found its rightful owner😃… I really hated to bust another $20 to start the process all over… Thank you very much.

Scam to Erroneously Charge My Card. I inadvertently purchased this app, and immediately went to settings to cancel it, but my iPhone would NOT allow me to cancel the purchase, because it shows a ZERO charge. It advertises that it is purchased, with a 3 day trial, afterwards my card will be charged. In a separate review, another customer cited a similar experience, and 3 days later he was charged $30. So, to avoid the charge, I contacted Apple Support to help me cancel the purchase. After 40 minutes, Apple Support said they could not cancel the charge. Apple suspects that the developer will charge my card, NOT Apple. How can the developer charge my card, when the developer does NOT have my credit card info? Only Apple has my credit card! Or did Apple share my credit card, with the developer? That’s the only way the developer could directly charge my card! BottomLine Apple should be able to help me to resolve this... Apple is going to charge my card, NOT the developer. Apple needs to close the backdoor, so that this does not happen! Hopefully, our complaints will prompt Apple to stop these erroneous charges to our cards!

The Navabelle 5 in 1 Head Shaver & Groomer. I always wear my hair short ever since I retired from the USAF. When I decided to go bald I needed a shaver. This head shaver performs as advertised. I shave my head every 3-4 days because my hair does not grow that fast. I get a close shave. It is easy to clean. I have not tried the other attachments.

Scam Artist. I read some reviews started download/install which I saw double click peer button on IPhone 12 to in stall. Next I see a screen that I am enrolled in subscription service for $7.99 per month. Program hasn’t even installed yet and I hadn’t even had chance to open it. Needles to say, I deleted program immediately and IOS asked if I wished to cancel subscription which I did. It will be interesting to see if these shisters try to charge me for 1 month even though I never used program once I recommend not downloading this

Love it!🤩. This is the best scanning app ever! There is never any problems! The one thing I could ask for is less adds. Besides that I love this app. it gets all my stuff done and just a click of a button and a scan.

Scam!!. I uninstalled the free version app months ago, but uninstalled it because I never used it. But I just noticed last week a $7.99 charge on my credit card for the pro version. I never requested the pro version, and I haven’t even had the app on my phone for months. I cancelled the subscription (that I NEVER signed up for, and yes, I know how they try to sneak the subscription in—I didn’t accept it), but unfortunately they won’t refund me any charges. Steer clear of this unethical developer.

Auto charges. I would give this zero stars if it would let me because it’s very unclear that it automatically put you in a subscription when you try it for one scan. All of a sudden $7.99 appears on your account and you wonder what it’s for because you didn’t subscribe for anything. I would advise you not to use this app their billing and auto charging technique is unacceptable. They got their $7.99 For our one scan and there’s zero star rating! If they’re on Facebook they’ll get a rating there too.

Scan and go...that quick and easy!. Had a different app before and when getting my new phone I deleted several of my rarely used or inconvenient to use apps. Came across a reason to need my scan app and looked for a new one. Found this one, saw the rating, read the reviews, and took a chance by downloading and using. Wonderfully surprised and quite happy with it!

Beware!. This app will convert to subscription without you realizing it. It has been identified by Forbes as one of top grossing sneaky apps on the Apple Store. It converted without our knowledge to 7.99 per month subscription. It appears apps are only free until they start automatically billing you. Since this has been known by the likes of Forbes and others since 2018, the appearance is that Apple endorses this behavior. Also, take a good look at the reviews. The 5 star reviews aren’t even for this app. What a fraud! Beware!!!

The sleaziest app I have ever seen!!. This app is hands-down the most scammy and sleazy app that I have EVER seen in the App Store. I literally want to go wash my hands after having used it knowing that I’m going to cancel it immediately. First of all being so shady about the app not being free is one problem, but $7.99 for a QR scanning app is highway robbery and that’s how you know the people that make this app are scammers to the highest degree. Scammers with no shame charge 7.99 for a QR scanning app but scammers who are trying to come up with a way of paying their rent would charge $.99. Be assured you will find other QR scanning apps very very easily for no cost whatsoever in the App Store the disgust I have for this app is overwhelming.

Completely Unworkable. Did Not Work a Single Time. Rarely do I write reviews and the few times I have they were all fairly positive reviews. Nevertheless this complete piece of garbage App drove me to pop my “bad review cherry”. The app is entirely worthless and I feel like I was ripped off even though it was free. I scanned about 8 different pieces of merchandise which were all relatively popular items and all I got out of it each time was a full screen advertisement which I was required to close in order to view the pricing information. Unfortunately all that appeared was a blank screen. Same thing happened over and over with each of the 8 attempts and then I deleted the app and moved on to this review.

Scam app. Downloaded to see a QR, but it activated the Pro version which was only 3 days. Does not give ability to deny purchase. Auto charges for it. What the hell is the trial then, I should be asked to click a “purchase” button after the fake trial. Now how to cancel when you don’t have iTunes.? Crap. Then having even to rate the app a 1 star when I want no stars. Giving a false 1 vote is ridiculous.

Can’t get rid of without support. I download this at my child’s project share where we needed a QR Reader to listen to a Podcast. It was chaotic at the event so I may have missed the warning that this was a paid app with automatic renewal, but I ended up having to have a long chat with Apple Support to get it cancelled. There were literally no options for doing so, only different increments of automatic renewals. In trying to figure out how to get out of this a friend found an article on shady developers that specifically highlighted this app. On top of the exorbitant fees I couldn’t cancel without outside help, the app didn’t even work when I needed it. I did end up being able to cancel the automatic renewal and get a refund, but it took more a couple of hours of frustration to do it.

This App is a Scam. I don’t even know how Apple allows these shady things on the App Store. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. I downloaded it without reading the reviews at first. Saw the bogus pay plans they were trying to sell me so I came here to read the reviews. Saw all the reviews about the fraudulent charges so I went looking in the app to cancel my “free trial.” Went looking for a way to cancel from the app and all it gave me was the option to contact them about my subscription and I told them to cancel. Here I am months later and my CC statements show “Apple iTunes” charges of 8.65 for the past 9 months. Apple failed hard with this app.

Bravo!. Thank you to the entire staff at the Franklin on Rittenhouse, A Boutique Hotel. Friendly, congenial, accommodating. Worthy of a 5 stars. Breakfast was out a sight, with Doug the mistrial coordinator of the fine continental breakfast. Dasha was thoughtful and kind, helping check us in. Paige and John are the quintessential management team of the front desk. The rooms were unique and clean. Well stocked with all the necessary items for the weary traveler. We found that all our needs were met and anticipated by the helpful staff.

Bill Harvey Inspections. Warren Sturges inspected my potential home. I met with him after he completed his rounds. There was so much that needed to be done and he explained everything to me. He was wonderful. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

Works perfectly. I was looking for a quick and painless download to get the instructions for something. The app found the page when the page wouldn’t open manually. The ads are annoying but not a deal breaker.

Free Version Bad. You thin it is a free app until you try to use it and the big red “Remove Ads” is splayed across your screen irritating you to the point you click on it and find out it is $9.99 per month. I back out, the obstructive “Remove Ads” is displayed again with no ability to X this irritating banner. Then I tried my first scan and a employment add shows up and you spend time figuring out how to get out of that. I did finally get to my website, but I am deleting this program after one use.

READ REVIEWS!. I downloaded this app before reading the reviews. Should’ve read them first! I did hit cancel when prompted, but still not sure if it worked. I sent an email through the app to confirm cancelation, but it conveniently says that they have no power or way to check subscriptions, and state that it has to be done through iTunes. I deleted the app already. I checked my subscriptions, and it’s not on my list. I guess I’ll find out once I check my bank account later.

Much better than the other top rated scanner. I needed a good QR scanner for my iPhone so I decided to download this and another QR scanner with a better rating. I tried the app with a better rating and when I scanner the barcode on the package that my new iPhone protection screen came in it told me that the item was a green Xbox! Then, I used this app to scan the barcode and it told me it was an iPhone protective screen cover. THAT PROVES THAT THIS APP IS BETTER!!!

Not bad but.... The app seems to work fine however it is covered in ads and a huge red banner (which is really intrusive) asking you to upgrade to remove ads. The catch is the “pro” version is $10 a month subscription. No way! Not for as little as I would use it. If it was a reasonable one-time buy of a couple bucks, then no problem, but not a $10 monthly subscription. That’s ridiculous! I really had high hopes for this one...

Do NOT download this app. Listen to the reviews or you will regret it! Wish I had read the reviews on this app before downloading. Says free trial for 3 days. I tried the app didn’t like it and deleted it the same day! Be sure you go into settings and remove from subscriptions. It automatically add itself to them. Just deleting the app won’t stop them from charging you. Went to see why I was charged $8.55 from iTunes. $7.99 a month is what it states, yet my bank account shows $8.55 for this app and have zero other subscriptions.

SCAM! DO NOT DOWNLOAD. I have no idea how this company has been charging me 2.99 for several months now, sometimes 2 and 3 times in one month. I wasn’t initially able to see the charge in my account manager then finally saw it had been charging me for months. I may have used this app once, like the one time I downloaded it because I needed a barcode reader. Now I get to fight with the company to try and get about 100 worth of charges back. Why would anyone authorize getting charged for this when there are tons of other barcode scanners that are free! TOTAL FRAUD

How do I undo this app?. I did not agree to buy this app and cannot get out of it! Ridiculous way to do business! It’s a ZERO rating as one star is one star to many. And it forces you to rate it anyway....grr. It wanted a nickname under 30 letters and rejected 26 letters.

Prices May Vary. Bought this once for work, used it once, then deleted it. Somehow, it continued to charge me for the following 6 months, twice a month for varying amounts each (fluctuating between $6-$13 dollars) I finally called iTunes and they said it was the same app (this one) that AUTOMATICALLY enrolled me into a subscription after a one-week free trial. There was no communication whatsoever about the subscription process and how it worked, as I only needed it in the one instance. And the fees for the subscription apparently vary week to week. TLDR: DO NOT purchase this app. I honestly do not know if it’s legitimate. It literally stole about $70 from me over the course of 6 months.

Finding the right couch for the job!. Derek , my R&F sales rep, did a great job helping me find the right furniture for my room! He even had a tape measure to double check that the couch I wanted would fit through my front door. He measured the floor model for me right in the showroom. He was very knowledgeable and had a great personality.

This app is a rip off. Strongly recommend not using it. Got the pro version downloaded and installed. Ok it said it’s a subscription. Figured yearly no problem. Then it did not work. I contacts them. Left messages and no replies. I informed them I’m am removing the app and wanted a refund all within a week of installing it. No replies. Then today I get bills. For renewal $3.99 for renewal every 7 days. Had to call the App Store techs and that are currently trying to get me a refund. Beware of this product. It is a complete rip off.

Beware the auto-subscription scam. I downloaded this app which created a subscription for $7.99 per month. That is a ridiculously expensive fee for an occasional-use utility. I tried it, found it slow and unreliable and cancelled the subscription. Hours later, the bill for showed up. I’ve tried asking for a refund but have not received one. Apple App Store response was it was not eligible for a refund. This is a scummy way to do business. Hopefully enough people will 1-star this thing so others don’t get tricked the same way I did.

Great App. Works great, the best part you don't have to push any buttons to snap a photo of the barcode just center the barcode inside the corners on the screen and the app automatically snaps the photo and you get the information from the barcode. I would highly recommend this app.

Developer takes advantage of you. Downloaded this “FREE” app to use it for 10seconds immediately deleted it and didn’t think anything of it. A couple of days later I view my credit card activity and see I was charged over $30. Apparently I was auto-enrolled into a subscription. The developer makes it so that by pressing “continue” on the app after first downloading it enrolls you in a subscription. I downloaded the app again to cancel the subscription and there is an “X” in the top right of the screen upon starting up the app that is essentially the same color as the background so you cannot see it. The other option is “Continue” which you can’t miss and would click just to get to the actual app but that would mean subscribing. DON’T download.

This app rips your money off. Recently I’ve downloaded this app, because I thought it is a free one. During setting it up it asks to agree with terms and conditions, but also they add an information about monthly payment. The app developers are aimed at your carelessness to withdraw 7.99 usd every month. After I found out it, I deleted the app, but after 1 month I was still charged for the app. Please be cautious! App developers, it is not right that to do like this! You should inform so everyone can easily see that this app is not free!

Able to scan Target gift cards. I purchased a number of Target gift cards of different values and this application was able to read the barcode and tell me at least the card number so I can look at my receipt and see the value of the card I purchased.

Scam. I downloaded this app not realizing it cost $7.99 a month. I didn’t use it and deleted it immediately but see another post saying they were still charged for it. I went to the support page and tried to send them a message explaining what had happened but it wants me to choose a reason from a drop-down list, but when I tap on the arrow to try and bring up the list of reasons nothing happens and it won’t let me send my message without a reason. This is a total scam.

My husband beautiful walk-in shower. I would like to thank Mark Schumacher and his coworker for putting in my husband walk-in shower. It only toke them two days to complete the project. They were very professional, clean and efficient. We couldn’t be more pleased and excited, to the point that, that’s all I’ve done was show off our new bathroom. Not free, confusing interface tricking you into being charged. This app gives you a big blue “Continue” button when you open it which automatically enters you into a subscription for which you will be charged. You have to hit a small pale X to not enter into payment. The designers of the app should make the choice to use the free version or upgrade to a paid version more transparent, and there should be a way to cancel the subscription within the app of course. There’s also no option to get a customer service number or email to ask about charges. Also iTunes should make it easier to unsubscribe.

Do not download. This is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you download, you will be charged for a subscription. This tricks you into a subscription and is morally and ethically WRONG!!!!!! It makes it extremely difficult to “cancel” a subscription once it’s made even if it’s an accident. I canceled this right after I downloaded it to try and I STILL got charged! This is EXTREMELY bad for APPLE to have for purchase. It gives them a very bad name and I will share this information about this app to everyone that I know. Do not even think about using this app…all they want is your money!!!!!!!

Enrolled in automatic renewal. First off, the app didn’t do what I needed it to. Second off and more importantly, they enrolled me in an auto renewal $5/week premium package. Who would pay 5/wk for this crappy app. I deleted the app same day of course but found out a month later I had been charged $20+ over that time. Apple thankfully refunded me but I’m disappointed in this apps ethics. Apple should also have a function when deleting an app that has an active subscription to prompt user if they want to keep said subscription.

How to cancel this stupid app. Open the Settings app. Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.* Tap the subscription that you want to manage. Don't see the subscription that you're looking for? Choose a different subscription option, or tap Cancel Subscription. If you don’t see Cancel Subscription, the subscription is already canceled and won't renew. *If you don't see "Subscriptions" in the Settings app, tap "iTunes & App Store" instead. Tap your Apple ID (which is usually your email address), then tap View Apple ID. Sign in, scroll down to Subscriptions, then tap Subscriptions.

Be aware! Trick subscriptions!. Downloaded app and don’t remember any screen asking to approve an annual membership fee of $30. Was charged $30 to my credit card linked to Apple. Realized 4 days later when I saw an unknown charge on my card and went into subscriptions in Apple. I cancelled the subscription right away, and it shows I have paid through next year. There is no listed grace period and it does not allow you to change to the 1 week subscription for $2.99 either. I am reporting it to my credit card company to try to deny the charge. Wish me luck.

Tricks you into subscribing to Premium. I’m now on the line with Apple trying to get 20x$2.99 back. Over $50 for 20 weeks of charges from this App without the App even showing I’m in premium. That’s why I thought I was OK when I looked in the app even though while using my home button to get out of a wrong screen in the application it authorized the purchase of it. What a mess and yes it’s the application’s fault but everyone funnels through Apple to sort it out. I’m very, very frustrated now. I need a native app to read QR codes. Help!

Great machine. Took a little bit to properly learn to use the machine but once I did it’s great. Able to keep veggies out of the garden fresh for much longer. Able to buy meat in bulk, divide, seal, and freeze. Would recommend for the price.

Total scam!. I figured out how to stop it by just making a fake Apple Card and downloading it and going to settings to delete my subscription so I don’t get charged and if there charging your normal card and you already deleted it and it still charges you. You could make a Apple Card with no money and download it and then delete the subscription your welcome and don’t ever trade your phone to some dumb scam it’s literally pointless but make sure you follow the steps your welcome

Untrustworthy. I did not specifically look for this app, it’s with in a lottery app. I tried to get rid of it immediately but you cannot. It doesn’t even honor the free trial period as it lists it. I figured this out when I was trying to figure out how to cancel this subscription I do not want (within the supposed free trial period) . The developer app itself tells you to go to your I Tunes subscriptions to cancel but when you open it up there is no option to cancel. This is Consumer Fraud. Any upstanding software developer has clear instructions on how to cancel a subscription.

Do not download- it will charge your account without your consent.. This App offers a Pro version which automatically renews weekly for $3.99. I don’t recall signing up for the Pro version or authorizing a weekly renewal charge when I downloaded the App. It was only after noticing the charges on my card that I realized the App was taking my money. It is obviously nefarious behavior on the part of the App provider because they offer multiple rate plans (only discovered after I realized I was being charged) but it defaults to the the more expensive weekly renewal. I would not recommend this App.

Charges unknown. I had to download app to install my camera, i had NO idea it was going to cost me $30, untilthe charge Came out of my acct!! One time use cost that much! It did not give me the option of a cost , which most apps do not!! Very deceiving !!!! This is bad to charge ppls acct with them not knowing!

Watch out — hidden charges!. As another reviewer points out, the first time you use this app, the developer very subtlety slips past you an auto-renewal agreement, whereby you’re immediately charged after the “trial” period ends. Fortunately I read such a review, then went straight into my settings and, sure enough, I’d been enrolled without realizing it. The developer plays innocent in their replies to this criticism, but rest assured, they know exactly what they’re doing! There are many other options out there that won’t try to “trick” you.

Charged $45 for pro version but I never signed up. I used this app for the first time in ages on Friday just gone, and I’ve just received an invoice from Apple thanking me for my payment/upgrade to the pro version. Funny thing is, I didn’t sign up to the pro version. I don’t want it. And I’ve never had much use for the free version anyway. I have had the app for years and maybe used it three times. Who would pay $45 for something they hardly ever use? I demand a refund immediately.

Scans Well. The app seems to want to find an item in its database- I only wanted to scan a barcode to verify the data encoded so the lookup was a bit annoying

Inaccurate. Scans so quickly that it misses dots and finds the wrong sites.

Trash. Got it to try and scan an apple sticker because i was bored, which is also why i’m writing this review. Didn’t work at all, not sure if i’m just dumb and don’t know how to use it though. Also what the heck is the other review for this app haha. Anyways wouldn’t recommend it.

This absolutely sucked.. When I first opened the app it immediately asked me to sign up to the pro feature. When I were trying to get the image it gave me a http instead of the image. When I tried to get the image it only lead me to 404 error. It didn’t give me the image. Waste of time don’t bother buying it.

Deceiving theft. I downloaded this free app and then noticed a charge on my credit card! I contacted Apple and they said it was a charge for an auto renewal subscription. This was never mentioned to me and I was never asked to confirm a payment of any kind. This is a scam in the hope that people either won’t notice the charge or won’t bother disputing the $5.99.

Perfect app. I was using other apps to scan a barcode and finally I found this app and it worked and I saw what I wanted.

Waaaay too many ads - just use Google lol. Just use Google app. Free and easy. This was great but waaaayyyyy to many ads. Upgraded in hope that basic respect for user had been realised but got hit with even more and longer ads!!! Delete this and just using Google app. Much quicker and easier.

100% quick access. This QR reader operates easily and faultlessly. Highly recommended!

Payment. Why do I have to pay for it?

Search a fxxxx abb it will steal your money. This app show like Free but after few weeks later they send invoice if you received and found you are luck BC still have time and protect ur money. First down load and few weeks later the app automatically renew and steal ur money. Be careful

SCAM app. Don’t download this app. It is free to download initially but you will then be charged $7.49 within 3 days if you don’t unsubscribe your subscription through your Apple ID as there is no function to edit your account settings in the app to turn off the auto renewal.

Not working. As soon as I got into the app, straight away the 3-day trial pops up, and I didn’t really want it as I only wanted to scan one thing. I tried tapping on the little x at the top, but it would not let me get out of trial pop up. I shut down the app and re-opened it, but it still didn’t close down trial pop up. I never even got to scan the thing I wanted to.

Easy to use. Great app... get straight into copying barcodes.. its simple... its free and works scanning your interested bar codes... so no hassels means, that i got no doubts...👍🏻

Beware $$$$. This app (advertised as free) as a monthly cost which it automatically starts after a few weeks, even if you decline and/or delete the app. And it is a weekly debit which easily runs into hundreds of dollars a year. There are QR reader apps that are free and do a great job.

What a piece of ……. Screams very loud at you with music and ads as soon as you turn it on and then freezes for a minute before you can cancel it. Or maybe the author just hates people. Couldn’t even read any codes I tried. Constant ads. Seriously bad and I had to share way to much info for it to work. Do not get this.

Super easy super quick. Excellent nice and quick scan have to be spot on the mark though ☺️ doesn’t give you a chance to line up bit tricky after some wines 😅

Too many advertisements and push you to premium. Too many ads blocks you and pushes you to try and get the premium for 13 bucks a month, too expensive if you don’t scan codes frequently, dissapointed

Poor App. had downloaded the app, however, wouldn’t let me scan any barcodes? Deleted it and re-downloaded it just too see if that would change anything. It had not. Poor app, defeats the purpose of a having barcode scanner really. Would look at other apps.

An Ideal QR Scanner. Easy to use in good light or bad. The downloads was instantaneous and I could fault it. Definitely deserves 5 stars.

Good little scanner. Works well, very fast scans, ads not too intrusive. Expensive to get rid of ads. Would be better if it had an 'open in Safari' option.

I love it. I love this app I play pretend library and it actually shows the book name and a picture of it.

Not useful. No way to manually tell it to scan a particular area that may contain a number of barcodes. It tried to do a product lookup when all I want is to scan and copy to clipboard. Very expensive and full of ads. Not worth it.

Wrong dates. I only got the app to be able to scan for COVID-19 check in. The scanner is easy to use, however the date was incorrect on both occasions that I used it (the date on the app was the day before I was actually at the locations)...which of course, completely defeats the purpose of checking in for covid tracking. The app also pushed me to subscribe for $13 a month (as in, I could t use it the second time until I subscribed), and I had to go into my subscriptions to cancel it

Most intrusive ads ever. It's seriously the worst I've seen. You can't even scan or see the result because of so many adds taking the whole screen over. Used it once, couldn't read the resulting website, deleted it.

Scam. Do not install it. I needed an app to scan a barcode. I installed this “free” app and after a few days I was charged 10 dollars for MONTHLY subscription. I tried to cancel it but nothing happened, so I had to contact support to get rid of the app. Would someone pay for a barcode scanner $10 per month? Ridiculous!

Deserves no stars. As soon as you download they want $40 MONTHLY!! and your forced to put your creditcard info in, there’s tons of shady ads on there. NOT WORTH IT!!! This app is disgusting and it’s full of fraud! All 5 star reviews are definitely from their scam community.

Pop up ad scams via this app. I used this qr scanner app to pay for parking. A generic payment form came up in my browser. But instead of paying for the parking it was a third party scam site/company called topline entertainment that immediately charged my credit card and doesn’t let you contact them or dispute the charge. Obviously I will never use this we scanner again.

Watch out!! Automatic annual subscription. It’s a beautiful looking app, but very sneaky how it signs you up automatically for an annual subscription. Going into the options section of the app makes it look like you aren’t signed up yet which is extra devious in my opinion. To cancel your annual subscription, you have to delete the app and “manage subscription” before deleting - make sure to hit the “cancel subscription” link, if an annual subscription is not what you were intending to have.

Nope. Opens a subscription pop up immediately, accidentally purchased a $39 annual subscription without even a chance to read what it said. Cancelled immediately, but trust is lost. Super shady, will use a less tricky option.

Fraud. The App Store should do better than allow this junk to be at the no.1 position for "qr scanner". This app first wants to scam you into signing up for a paid program. After that I scanned a barcode. It uploaded the photo who-knows-where and then I got a 500 Internal Server Error from an asp page. First of all, there is no need to upload the photo anywhere. The iPhone is quite capable of reading a barcode on its own. So I think the photo was meant to be uploaded so my private data would be illegally sold. I have immediately deleted the app from my phone but it still feels like it was infected. Apple needs to ban this app right now!

I am deleting this app. It does not take you to the manufacturer of thr product, but assumes you want to buy it giving you advertising about it. On top of that they give you other unrelated ads. They get money for all the ads they show, but why show someone subscribe to have more junk?

I live in Victoria, and enjoy all the AFs there but love stopping @ this Anytime Fitness when staying for a night or rolling thru town up to Courtenay to visit Fam. Just Awful. Downloaded this to scan a barcode on my lawn mower if you can believe it, to take me directly to the manual. trouble is, once you use the very easy to operate scan, wherever you get to, it’s impossible to see the web address let alone copy it, or download the PDF it took me to. So, if I want to read the manual, I have to navigate around all the ads, and squint to see it because the app doesn’t work well as a pdf reader (no pinch zoom). Deleted immediately.

Review. Had a little problem getting cap adapter to seal well and a little problem getting the on button to stay on. Once I worked those out it worked great. Also going to tell my neighbor as he wants the same convenience. Thanks

Scammer alert!!. I downloaded the free version, which came through my iTunes payment history, correctly as free, then the premium version popped up that I DID NOT ORDER, and then was charged $7.99 three days later. I had other free readers that I deleted since I never used them. STAY AWAY!! They may tell you there is an iTunes page to cancel your subscription but it DOESN’T WORK!! HOW ARE THESE PEOPLE STILL ON iTUNES?!?! This is dishonest and criminal, even for India and Pakistan.

Scam. As someone already pointed out. It charges your Apple account a fee every month without you knowing till you see a charge (for me of 7.99) and when trying to track it down I found out the app had auto billed through my Apple account without my knowledge. It’s in the pages of terms of service. This should be on the store as monthly subscription. Not free and the price hidden in the terms of service. This is such a scam and Apple should be ashamed.

The worst. Seriously.. I hate this app, tried to use a feature and a window popped up saying it was a premium feature and that I had to use my thumb to purchase it right away, I was trying to exit the app at the same time so my thumb was on my home screen and it had me purchase it right there. I cancelled but I was still charged for it and it does not give a refund. Worst app ever. Worst app experience ever. Uninstalling.

Yes!!! You should install this. I did not know this app would actually work. But it did. I made a barcode for my email and my phone number and it is so easy to use. I love this app and you will too.

Watch your bank account!. This app was disappointing to me as I was never able to find the origin or price of any items I tried. “Unable to locate product” every time I tried scanning a barcode. I deleted the app as it was no use to me. Then 3 months later, I found that the app had been charging me $3.24 every week for the last 3 months and I had no idea. Way to take advantage of users. Unbelievable! Do not bother downloading.

AUTO SUBSCRIPTION. I downloaded the app for free but as soon as I opened it I was informed that after one week free there was a $2.99/week fee so I promptly deleted the app thinking that it would not enroll me. However, upon reviewing my bank statement I saw two charges and found that I had been auto enrolled in the subscription even though I hadn’t even used the app and had it for no more than 5 minutes!! Currently on hold with Apple to dispute this, but what a pain >:(

Never wrote a review. I’ve been a faithful iPhone user since it came out. This is the worst application I’ve ever encountered. It doesn’t work with your camera. I used a pic from my library to try it(gave it access) and it forwarded me to download another app instead of giving me any info on what I scanned. I’m now worried that my phone is compromised. I can’t even believe Apple approved this garbage. Avoid! Zero stars should be a thing.

You can just do it on your camera. Use your camera it has that feature and don't watch Ads with it

A+++ to Brightwater. I moved to Brightwater about 6 weeks ago & it’s the best life decision I’ve ever made. My home is beautiful, all the residents are friendly, social & really welcoming! And the Brightwater staff (with no exception) are kind, helpful, talented and friendly!

Scam!. This app did work the one and only time I used it. Haven’t even opened it since. In fact, I got rid of the iPhone X the next day (that’s a whole other list of design flaws). Now I have found that they have been charging me for the most expensive subscription they have at $4.99 weekly! I never signed up for anything. Apple is refunding the charges for me. It appears I’m not the only one that this is happening to. I wouldn’t recommend this app to anyone!

Better than most free scanners. I previously tried a couple other scanners, but deleted them after discovering they were extremely limited. This one actually has worked on every scan I tried thus far.

Scam. 20 min to unsubscribe!. This app said it was free but when it was finishing the download I saw a payment screen flash by. I didn’t tap on anything to “upgrade.” It took me 20 minutes to figure out how to unsubscribe. For those scammed like me, download the app, go into settings, go into subscription info and click on cancel trial. This unticks whichever plan they put you on. Then I deleted the app. I’ll be watching my account for these charges. Hope this helps someone.

How to cancel if needed. It seems to be a good app but if to Not Get charged you have to go to the profile of the app under SUBSCRIPTIONS and scroll down to the package you want because it will automatically put you on the $9.99 SUB. OR scroll down to CANCEL in red letters. Click on that.

Don't download. They will take your money so be careful when downloading! I downloaded this app for a little didn't like and then deleted it didn't think to much about it until today when I saw my bank account they have been taking my money $7.49 every month for 3 months! I don't remember clicking on any subscribe bottom that's why I didn't worry about having to cancel a subscription! So be careful!!!

Works well, has auto-play advertising.. Scanner works great, but auto-play ads with sound are disruptive. Wish sound would be muted by default with the option to enable, but doesn’t seem to be possible. Can’t beat the price though!

BEWARE OF “PRO SUBSCRIPTION”. I downloaded this free app to quickly scan something and then be done with it. Somehow during the one day I used the app I unknowingly subscribed to the “Pro version” which has been charging me $4.99/week!!! Absolute BS, since when I open the app it does not show that I have a the Pro Version, but instead it does give me the option to subscribe, which further proves that it’s a scam, because why would I need that if I had already subscribed? Do not download this.

Difficulty canceling subscription I did not want. I ignored a review that said this would happen and I regret it. I downloaded and tried to use the free version and got charged for what appears to be an annual subscription and now have tremendous difficulty canceling it and making sure I don’t get charged, take the advice of others, do not download this product. Apple should not allow it to be downloaded in a way that takes advantage have Apple users.

WARNING they automatically put you on WEEKLY subscriptions. Not only did it NOT work but the jerks call it “free” preying on the fact that not everyone scrolls all the way down to see that you will automatically be subscribed WEEKLY to the app. So I deleted the app..... because it DID NOT WORK and just found out I got charged for a weekly subscription (conveniently, deleting an app doesn’t negate automatic subscriptions) ... even though I had NO IDEA I had an automatic subscription! Hate it, don’t get it.

Why I like it. I like it because when point it at a barcode it instantly scans the barcode and then tells you what it is and how much money it is and what it was before.

There should not be a charge for the scanner I’ve had it free for years and now all at once it’s just gone and I found out the reason why it’s gone is because there’s a charge for it that’s wrong you should not do that to somebody i’ve had this QR scanner for years and now there’s a charge for it that’s wrong it should be no charge what it should be free thank you

Rick W. I got an immediate response when I use the barcode and it was very efficient. The only negative I see is that I have to pay in order to not receive advertising. You should be paying me for receiving it, In my opinion. Over all, I like the app even though asked me to read it with only one use.

Don’t download it doesn’t work. This app is terrible . I was able to scan 2 times and it didnt even find the item (a book). There is a very annoying Remove Ads red button that doesnt go away and when you click it it takes you to the $9.99 option . Its blasted with ads after and before every scan. Total waste of time. This is super cool. I’m in 5th grade but it’s summer so soon I’ll be in 6th so at Barnes and Nobles I got a math book and it had a scanner on it I used the QR scanner and it helped me understand all the math problems thanks to the QR scanner I’ll go into 6th grade with a fresh mind thanks a lot for your time and attention bye for now!

Takes money without permission. I wish I could rate this app 0 stars. It’s so annoying because it keeps saying “buy premium!” I say no. But it constantly crashes and gives ads the second I scan and it never lets me scan it. It says “ buy premium for ad-free experience of a lifetime”. I click no again. So then I just delete the app. A few weeks later, 300$ WAS TAKEN OUT OF MY CREDIT CARD!! This app is a scam and I do not recommend it.

IT WILL CHARGE YOU. DO NOT DOWNLOAD! It says it a “free” app.. I downloaded it while I was in Home Depot trying to do a price check on something that I didn’t see a price for, this app said free and it worked good. Then about a week later I had a charge on my debit card for $8.52 !!!! I called Apple and they told me I had a subscription with them, I NEVER AGREED OR SIGNED UP FOR THAT! It’s a scam and they will take your money without you even realizing it! I put in my request for a refund and deleted the app.

Be more patient than I was. Didn’t realize it was doing it’s thing but it took a bit to open a doc and didn’t have an icon to show it was working so I kept repeating process and just about ready to ditch it

Shady app. I don’t think that APPS like this should be aloud on the apple platform because I read where a person was charger a $30 fee for a subscription after the person deleted it 10 seconds later . Why is apple allowing developer and their apps to take peoples hard earn money and still while we’ll all trying to get through a pandemic that has us occupied with more important things.

Great place. This was our first time here, traveling through Kansas, the waitress Tanneka was very helpful and helping us decide what to choose. She was friendly, and even surprised us, with a sample tasting of the pineapple and strawberry dole.

One Time Use Only. I downloaded this scanner to at a Fireworks Store to see the demos for the item I was interested in buying, and it worked one time in the store. I bought a few items and got home (where WiFi available) and tried to use it and all I get is a pop-up advertising for a “Premium QR Scanner”?.?.? Shut down the app and tried again, and nothing. Useless after one use.

Beware! There’s a charge for this app!!!. I just had to contact Apple support to get a refund for $7.99 which this app had charged my card without my knowledge. Had I not noticed it now, the app would continue to charge a monthly fee!

Do not download!!. I downloaded the app and immediately got a email from apple that I signed up for a year subscription for $30. If you don’t read the fine prints when you download this app. It gives you 3 days for free then it automatically signs you up for a yearly subscription. Good thing I noticed it before they charge me. It was also really annoying to cancel (you have to click into your phone settings instead of directly on the app).

Don’t download. Does not work and charges fees. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!! The description does not clearly state that the “free” app is actually a 3 day trial, which if you do not cancel, it automatically subscribes you to a weekly $4.99 subscription. The description only ever states that you can upgrade to the premium 9.99 account. Besides the scam subscription, the app never even worked after trying to scan multiple QR codes from various sources and not one of them working.

Love this app!!. This app is useful in more than 10 ways in my daily life! I use it for my filters in my house I use it for my dog food I use it for studying materials through my Air Force PME’s!!! My son and my husband use it as well!!

Do not download this software. I accidentally downloaded this app and immediately got notification that this company charged my account. This company cheated the customer during download process without clearly confirming with the customer for the charge. This is the unacceptable business process. I really did not like it and strongly felt I got robbed from this company. Without second thought, I immediately deleted this app and requested refund.

This is a subscription. This is a subscription, not a one time purchase or free app with ads. I don’t know why someone would need this and as far as I could tell it did nothing special and did not work as seamlessly as others. Granted I did not wait around to play with it after getting Apples notice I had subscribed to something. Stay away from this unless you know you need it for some reason.

Fraudulent billing practice. Do not download app as they will start charging you for the pro version at 2.99 or 3.99 per week. You will get no notice of these charges. While you can get a refund once you find out about the charges, I am sure this an intentional practice on the part of tiny lab. They are banking on a large percentage of people not going through the trouble of contesting 10-30 dollars of weekly charges.

Deceptive App. First thing it shows when opening the app is a list of features, as you'd see whenever an app has been updated. Except that this is to trick you into purchasing the premium version, since it doesn't tell you that you're not launching the app, but rather purchasing the premium version. Once you get pass that tricky opening screen, when you scan a barcode, it takes you to an Ad. Useless piece of app!
