Convenient and Useful. I have used this app twice for passport pictures and had no problems. Love using it, you just have to pic up your pic and not don’t have to deal with any camera issues.

Didn’t work Wasted my time. First of all I thought they would impose you on a white background. Who has white back drops around their house. Fortunately I have a solid white door. We tried different lighting, flash no flash. It kept saying it wasn’t white, and there where shadows. Now I have to get ready again in the morning and go to an actual place to get it done. Total waste of time!

Photo. Those of us that follow the step by step procedure, won’t have any problems. I had to take a couple different photos before I had the green to go for print. Very, very easy!!

Doesn’t Work. Don’t waste your time downloading this app after all the work getting your picture taken Walgreens was not able to download the uploaded picture. I finally had to get another picture taken at the store and discard the picture taken through the app. All the other features a great on this app but hopefully they will fix this one glitch QUICKLY and I’d love to try it again. Looking forward to the newer version

Worked from the other side of the world!. This worked for me. Advice: do not try selfie mode, your arms are not long enough. Go outside, not in direct sunlight, but use the flash to fill in. Must have a white background.

Wonderful. It’s so great to be able to take ad many pics as you want until you get a good one that doesn’t make you look like a criminal lol!

Easy to use. With a 24-hour Walgreens close by it was super easy for me to download the app, have someone shoot a pic of me using the instructions, find and forward it to the correct store and then pick it up the next day.

Used to be great; now useless. I’ve used this app a number of times for passport and visa photos. This time, I’ve tried no fewer than six times to order the photos from Walgreens. The app says the order is accepted, but within ten minutes I receive an email from Walgreens that the order has been cancelled. Because the app offers no way to download the photos and print them elsewhere, it is now useless.

Bombs out when sending to Walgreens. Tools a couple photos to renew passports for my wife and me, and every time I try printing I get an email from the selected Walgreens that the order was cancelled and couldn’t be printed. I tried at least 4 different Walgreens locations over three different days. Always the same failure. The photos taken by the app aren’t in your library and are hidden somewhere I couldn’t find so I can’t get them printed elsewhere. Pretty useless if you can’t get your pictures.

CAUTION! Forces you to pay $15 at Walgreens. This isn’t one of those apps that helps you print passport photos for $0.10 in a 4x6. ALSO it doesn’t let you export the photos in any way except sending them online to Walgreens. One pro: The face analytics are nice in ensuring you have a good photo Why use an app at home that then costs you the same $$ as going into a store and having them take the photos?

Great in theory. I decided to use this app because I use Walgreens for all my photo printing and didn’t want to risk having my face mask off in the store during covid to take a picture. Took my photo at home, it was accepted as compliant through the app, got to the store to pick up my order and was told that it’s unusable because the staff was unable to access or edit the photo. Ended up having to take it in the store which is exactly what I didn’t want to do.

Good experience. The app is pretty easy to understand and helps you take what I think are good and compliant photos. They came out just fine at the local Walgreens and the price is fair. Using this app sure beats trying to get a photo right in store. As long as the authorities accept these photos, this app gets five stars from me.

Kept rejecting photos.. Took pictures in front of a white wall and photo was rejected because the background was not white. I hung a bright white sheet on the wall and once again , the photo was rejected because background was not white. Tried several times all rejected because background was not white. So frustrating!

Good & bad. It's nice to take your own pic & make sure it looks nice. The bad is that you can't enlarge the pic to get a better view and a cam remote doesn't work, so you almost need another person to take the pic. Also, after submitting the pic to Walgreens there is no email notification. Made me uncomfortable until I went to Walgreens later and they did confirm a printout.

5 stars. Super convenient!! Able to get a decent pic taken, sent to WALGREENS and picked up in under an hour. About the same price as having your picture taken there, but at least you get to see it and do it over if you look hideous. Well done!!

WARNING FRADULENT. Not associated with Walgreens don't let the logo on the loading screen fool you. This app will submit your photo to a Walgreens store, but the Walgreens stores have been instructed to tear up the photos and not sell them. You will not be able to get your photos, so don’t waste your time. If you are lucky, you can take a passport photo right there in the Walgreens. The Walgreens store manager said that this is a well-known issue that has been escalated to Walgreens corporate.

Easy Passport Photo Process. This app is great. I was able to take a passport photo with my iPhone and pick up copies the following day. The Wallgreen’s I used would have had it ready the same day, however, they ran out of proper photo paper. The quality of the photos were perfect and the price was fair. It was a very simple process & convenient to choose a local Wallgreens. I highly recommend this app.

Perfect Passport Photos Every Time. I have worked with passports for many years and passport photos are easily one of the hardest things to get wrong. With all the requirements that the government has on passport pictures it is hard to keep track when taking passport pictures. This app is easy to maneuver and with the ability to check the picture for mistakes for you it is virtually impossible to take a picture that will get rejected. This app will save you time and money!

Easy Peasy. I enjoyed using this app and I’m surprised others had a hard time with it! I had to retake my photo only once because of user error. After that I took a few more just to have options and got it printed and picked up in just a couple hours. I wish the rest of the passport process was this easy!

If you always look awful in passport photos. Then this app will save you!!! I had my passport pic taken by Walgreens and it’s so depressing when their lighting makes you look 10 years older. With this app you can look good in your passport pic. Yay!

Best Passport Photo App EVER for iPhone. This app makes taking a passport photo EASY & FAST.. I had my passport application rejected because my photos did not meet the government's specific requirements. This app makes it so easy to take the perfect passport photo using biometrics. The best part is you print the photos at Walgreens! My photos were ready in 10 minutes! Actually used it a few times well worth the price and knowing it will be accepted. I had to adjust the brightness prior to taking the photo to create a compliant photo. This worked out for us no issues on the fees or the application.

False photo acceptance!!. The photo taken using this app said it passed all compliance checks. Photo must be sent to Walgreens to be printed, ($15) which defeats my purpose for getting the app. Nevertheless I sent it to the nearest Walgreens over 30 miles away. Get there the next day to pick it up and the clerk tells me that the photo IS NOT compliant!!!! The clerk advised against using any app for a passport photo because the State Dept has such strict guidelines. Use at your own risk.

Convenient. The app worked well and convenient to use. It gave us all green but the Walgreens associate said he needed to touch up the shadowing some. Great that he did that. My only complaint is the price. $18 for me doing all the work is expensive. Should give a discount as it is less work and time for Walgreens.

Dark , single color clothes. We worked through 12 pictures before we realized that a dark , one color top is best . Once we figured that out , it worked well . We could have just had the photo made at the developer , but it was good to do this at home .

EXCELLENT APP. I was so thrilled to find this app in preparing to renew my daughter’s passport. Being able to take the pic at home using the guidelines in app and see quickly that it meets the requirements for the State Department, then firing it off to the nearest Walgreen’s for printing was a BREEZE!

Passport renew approved!! It works!. I had this app for a few years. I knew I had to renew my passport soon but I kept procrastinating. I can finally confirm that this app works!!! I just received an email from the US Dept of State that my application has been “Approved”. The app is super simple to use and they help guide you, but of course it’s not perfect so you still have to use your own judgment in selecting a clear photo with good lighting. I advise you to read the photo tips provided on the app or go to the state’s official site. Your head must be sized between 1”-1.4” in a 2”x2”. Do not use in selfie mode (front facing cam) because images aren’t clear. I suggest using tripod or selfie stick if you are taking it on your own. I used it on my iPhone SE so you can see you don’t need the fanciest phone for it.

Quick easy. I followed all instructions-easy to use ! I had taken picture in the morning and had photos printed in my hand at noon!!

Convenient!. Good app! Definitely took a bit of fiddling until I was able to get the right brightness, no shadows, and clear white background. Once I figured I can adjust the brightness on the app that helped and every photo after was compliant. Super convenient app during covid times, I can fill out the passport renew application and attach the photo, all without having to wait in long lines! I would definitely recommend this app and will use this again.

Doesn’t work the way it should. Photo app is very particular about getting your photo right which is great, however it saves the photo only to this app, which is still fine, but once you send the photo to a Walgreens store your order is canceled and you receive an email. Sending it again resulted in receiving the same email, and again, and then to another store… once that one was canceled, I called the store and was told that the passport photo printers at all Walgreens are down, something to do with software perhaps? I don’t know, but it resulted in serious irritation. Just go to FedEx, it took all of 15 minutes.

Bit the bullet and went for it. And it was fine. Smooth. No more procrastination.

Easy to use. I tried a few other app and had trouble, even printed them out with terrible results. We found the best lighting in our bathroom and only needed two tries to get it right. We took the photos and had them printed at Walgreens within 20 minutes. The photos came out great!

Don’t bother not worth time or frustration.. Thought this would be easy. Did everything pretty quickly and sent to my local Walgreens- friend went to pick up for me and they were not there. Tried again. Email confirmation (not in app error) said they could not process. Now I have to go in store to get photo taken. No one to help- no way to push image from app. Not worth the time

Nice app. Easy way to do passport photo. Only down side is photo difficult to see because it is so small. Ended up have to print two. The ability to zoom on the photo or see a larger version would award it a five.

Like a Champ. Downloaded the app, took the photo on my phone, went to my chosen Walgreens and picked up my perfectly sized passport photos. The clerk first said their camera was inop and therefore couldn’t provide a passport photo, until I said I had sent it to the store via the app, to which he replied “oh, that’s a horse of a different color” 🤣

Awesome.. This is a great option for those in a hurry. Once you take a picture the app then checks/validates the photo for MANY factors that would invalidate the photo, like a white background, proper lighting, white/hot spots, framing, etc. Pick up at the local Walgreens was a breeze. The only minor complaint is that the photos are a bit pricey ($15 for two 2”x2” photos), but there is good value in the convenience of doing it yourself and getting the photos quickly. The app itself is very good IMO.

Decent app. Decent app with relatively easy to follow prompts to take a passport photo. Be advised though, you have to email the photo taken to Walgreens for them to print at a cost of near $15. Once the photo is taken through the app, you cannot save it to your phone. It stays accessible only within the app, only to be used by Walgreens. If you plan on having them print your photo and don’t mind the cost, it’s an easy to use app that walks you through the process.

Very Easy and Convenient. I was able to use this by myself in front of a mirror. Because the selfie mode is not allowed, I took pics of myself in front of my bathroom mirror. It took a few attempts before I got everything right, but it’s because lighting and background color and cast shadows had to comply with US standards.👍🏼

Finally!!! Simple and fast. Love this app, it made my wife’s life so much easier printing our kids passport photos. They do not behave in the store but she was able to easily accomplish this at home. So Walgreens is leveraging technology for this purpose - more pharmacies should do this if they were on top of their game!

Great App. I attempted to utilize for or five apps to no avail. None of the pictures would be accepted. I used Walgreens Passport App and right away I had the perfect passport picture.

Just go in person. I gave this 2 stars instead of one because it was easy to use, but I would recommend not wasting your time and just going in person. There’s a big checklist of requirements for passport photos and this app had them all, except that it didn’t do the best job verifying them. It took a couple tries and we finally got all the boxes checked, only to show up to Walgreens and have them tell me that they needed to be redone because the parameters were wrong. The reason we did the app was because my wife isn’t able to go in person before our appointment for our passports, but now we have to figure out something else. I would definitely recommend saving the time and effort by just going in person.

Easy and Convenient.. Technology rocks. The days of hunting for an office/shipping store that does passport photos and waiting in line while Aunt Bertha agonizes over whether it’s worth the extra 3 cents to upgrade to Saturday delivery or not are long gone. This was 3 steps: Download the app. Snap the photo. Pick up and pay at the photo counter at Walgreens. Including the 10 photos, hair adjustments and changing shirts three times to find one that best matched my eyes, the whole deal from start to finish took 15 min. Seriously.

Eventually i got all checks.. I had to buy a huge white corrugated plastic sheet at lowes for the background. My dad is in a nursing home. We took the photo with him laying down in the bed and the sheet behind his head. I had to move the bed to eliminate the shadow.

Don’t Waste Your Time. I was hoping to save money by printing photos myself for our family of six. I expected that this app would ensure the pictures met standards and that I’d have to print them through Walgreens for a few dollars each. It was easy to get the pictures done, but then they actually want to charge you more for remote printing than they charge to have the photos taken in person. It makes no sense. If you’re thinking about downloading this app, save yourself the time and money and just have them take the pictures in person.

A passport photo you will like!. Super easy to use. Compliance checks are really accurate and shows what is needed to pass government requirements. I took a few different photos to pick the one I like the most. If I have to look at my passport photo for ten years, I want to like it... and it works really well. Printed in 10 mins at my Walgreens for the same price as going there but my photo is one I actually like.

DOES NOT WORK. The app accepted the photos but they still did not meet requirements. Kids smiling, the exposure from Walgreens was awful on printing and the background was too dark and one had red eye. This was after the app accepted the pictures and we never received a call from Walgreens that they were unacceptable. I had to pay the extra $15 per kid at the post office to have the photos retaken anyway. Save your time and sanity. Just make an appointment at the post office and get your pictures taken there. They cost the SAME $15 whether you take them yourself or not. Having Walgreens print them is not cheaper and saves you nothing. Their photo quality is terrible even on our Digital vacation pictures.

Exporting pictures not possible - otherwise ok. Understand that Walgreens want to make sure we don’t print the pictures ourselves or go elsewhere, but we should have the ability to export photos for our own use. The app is very strict (stricter than actual passport requirements), but works ok and picking up photos at the store was efficient.

Super cool app!. I truly appreciate this very much. I was in a crunch to have to get my passport expedited at the same time of being at work and I was able to take passport pictures with this app and pick the pictures up when I got off work. This was a very very convenient and if I have to use it again I am definitely going to do so!

Cool idea, just doesn’t work. All the requirements scans are neat but sending to Walgreens doesn’t work and there’s no option to export the photo. Just go to Walgreens, they’ll take your picture and print it within a couple minutes.

Doesn’t work. Took multiple images and tried multiple times to send the photos to Walgreens and each time the order got cancelled. Even at different locations. Used another app to get the job done.

Amazing app.... In this Covid times, I’m worried to take my little one out for a passport photo. Got to know about this app. It’s amazing!!! We took the photograph at home and ordered the prints directly to Walgreens through this app. The prints came out very well. Hope they get accepted.

Terrible. There’s an obvious color difference between the picture you took with the app and the picture Walgreens received. It got so much darker and was in much lower resolution. You may got a picture that fit all the requirements for passport photo on your phone, but the print out photo is still so much off.

Kind of pointless. I loved the idea of a passport photo app and I was excited to get a photo that the app said was perfect. I ordered the prints and thought what a great idea this app was ... until Walgreens called a few minutes later and said that the photo was unacceptable and that I would need to come in and have my picture taken, so what was the point?

Why am I paying $15. I thought the purpose of this app was to print your passport photos cheaper as you are taking the photo yourself! So I do not understand why you still have to pay $15 to print the photo I think that is quite ridiculous!

My passport photo was rejected. I had my photo approved on the app as “perfect”. I then purchased my photos through the app and paid $15. My passport has been rejected due to the photo not meeting the requirements. Walgreens, please make this right. Thank you.

My experience. My photos were approved on the app. When the Kings highway store gets them the workers are oblivious questioning what I used to take the photo. Walgreens please train your staff it’s annoying.

Waste of time. Took two pictures with the app of two separate persons in two different locations. App said both met the passport criteria. Went to Walgreens to pick them up and was told they did NOT meet the criteria. Clearly the app does not evaluate properly. Would give it a zero if I could.

Just as expensive as passport office. Only option is to print at Walgreens for full price of $15. Why run around to a Walgreens and passport office when you can get the photo at the passport office for the same price and save a trip?

DO NOT USE THIS APP. Walgreens confirmed that the photos we took through the Walgreens passport photo app complied with US passport requirements. The US passport acceptance facility said they did not. We paid $40 to Walgreens for 2 pics and then had to pay again for 2 pics at the passport facility. Waste of time and money!

Walgreens won’t allow you to use these photos. I took a nice photo with this app & sent it over to Walgreens and they printed it. Then someone from the store called and said that they weren’t allowed to sell me a passport photo that didn’t take in the store. Why does this app exist if Walgreens won’t allow you to purchase the picture you took?

Scam. Captures the picture within the app and does not allow you to make cheeper prints. I know “passport print app” has a singular purpose implied in the app but basically it is a scam that is used to corner you into using Walgreens to print your photo for the cheep price of $15...

Waste of Time. App behaves fine on the user’s end. But the photo order gets immediately canceled by Walgreens. Per Walgreens’ employee, the order gets canceled because there is no photo URL attached.

Passport app. The app worked just thought $15 plus tax was a little on the high side, but it worked and it was ready within the hour.

Walgreens did not know anything about this app. I used this app and when I went to pick them up at Walgreens they didn’t know what I was talking about. The have never worked with this app and stated that they only do passport photos in house.

Impossible to take an acceptable photo. Functionality is great but every single photo I took was denied as having “too many shadows” or “background not white” no matter what we did. So we just gave up and are going in person.

Doesn’t print to Walgreens. Tried it twice. All it did was generate emails from Walgreens stating that my order had been canceled for an unspecified reason.

Unable to export the photos. The app is great at taking photos but it does not allow exporting them from the application. The only way to get the photos is to print them using their own services.

Good app but prevents user from getting a digital copy of the photo.. I want to be able to download a digital copy of the photo but there is no option for doing that.

Misleading. Took the photo with no issues at home. Compliance check stated that the pictures were good to go and compliant. I get to the store and the phot printer in the store prints out the pictures and states that the pictures are not compliant. Big miss with this app here !!

Two Strikes for Walgreens! Waste of Time!. We took photos of all three of us using this app. All three photos said they were fine. Sent them in, Walgreens calls to say they’re non-compliant. All of them. Last time we did photos IN THE STORE and after waiting for two hours in line, passport people told us they were cropped wrong. NEVER AGAIN

Walgreens System Auto-Cancels These Photos!. I submitted 2 passport photos from this app to Walgreens, and they were auto-cancelled by the system for both. The system stated “There was no image attached”. This is a very frustrating and irritating waste of time!

Bad app. I used this app, easy to use. Uploaded the acceptable photo to Walgreens, and was told it was accepted. Got and email an hour later that it was rejected. Tried three times, same result.

Good Lord, white do they need the background?. I finally got a new pure white sheet out of the package, and I literally used 6 lights plus my iPhone 11 Pro flash. It STILL said the background was not white. Adjusting the contrast did not help. I guess I will need to wait for the next snow. Better yet, CVS has an app.

Don’t use!. Awful app! Thought the automatic compliance check would be helpful, but despite “achieving” compliance on 4 photos—twice—none of the photos actually complied. First, Walgreens called to say the ones I’d ordered wouldn’t work. Redid them, got the all clear. Then, the post office rejected them. Waste of time and money. App makes promises it can’t keep!

Don’t bother. Spent half an hour trying to take a photo that would, according to the app, pass muster. Sent it Walgreens for printing only to be told at the store that the photo wouldn’t be accepted for a passport, and that they don’t accept photos submitted online for passport use anyway.

Perfect passport photo. This is a great time saver. Took my passport photo and uploaded to Walgreens in less than 5 minutes. So easy to use. Definitely a time saver.

Doesn’t allow you to save your photos. This app forces you to pay Walgreens through them and it doesn’t allow you to save your photos. It does the job, but I could’ve saved 50% off by purchasing directly on Walgreens website

Passport photo. This app made the process so simple . I walked into Walgreens, and I walked out in 8 minutes with my photos. Pretty sweet!

Horrible!!. Worst app I’ve ever used - I was told my photo was compliant on the app, and then Walgreens told me they couldn’t print it because it wasn’t compliant. I was only told I could take my photo AT Walgreens by the second location I went to.

Walgreens won’t print these for some reason. Easy to take the pic and it looked great. Quickly sent directly to Walgreens which immediately called me and informed me they can’t print any photos not taken in the store? Totally defeats the convenience of the app

Rejected. I took the photo and the app approved it. I sent it to my local Walgreens. The store called me to say they cannot accept photos sent to them. The photo must be taken in the store by them. What then is the point of the Walgreens passport photo app? Useless.

Not great. The app is supposed to not accept a photo if it doesn’t meet the passport criteria. I took the photo, it was ok’d and paid for it but the passport official could not accept it because the background and positioning wasn’t consistent with the requirements. So I paid for it and ended up just having to take one at the agency anyways.
