Figure out what style fits you best!. I was wig shopping online and wanted to see if there was an app where I could virtually try some styles on! This is great because it has a variety of styles black women wuod typically wear, which other apps do not have! Love that for them and us.

Excellent App for Young Kids!. My daughter is into hair and how she looks now so this is an excellent app for young black girls to explore different hair styles. My daughter and her friends really enjoy this app and gives them confidence in finding out new hairstyles that represent their culture

Love it. Love the app, saved me from making a mistake and trying something new that I wouldn’t have probably tried before.

Just downloaded. I’ve been looking forever for an app that has natural hair options and very happy with the app so far.

Playtime. This app is fun to play with but I couldn't possibly make a change in hair style by just using this app. Not to mention I would prefer more realistic options in the graphics of the app

A dream. I was looking for an app to try on a loc style I’m thinking about, and i was starting to get discouraged. I found this app, again as it turns out, and not only did they have the style I’m getting, but the ombré used in the app matches what I’m getting perfectly. I’m having a blast looking for what style I want to try next! Thank you, creators.

It’s helpful, but can improve. Some of the hair styles include ears and/or hair that should tuck behind the ear, but can’t due to the program. It makes it hard to try certain styles, particularly short ones. When I was browsing for free there weren’t any ads. After I bought 3 extensions to the app the ads were coming so quickly it became quite annoying. I like that there are braid and lox styles. I’d like more curly and natural hairstyles.

Finally an app with African American hairstyles!. If your debating on your next hairstyle this could be the app for you. Not many options if you don’t pay for the additional styles but I think it’s worth it. Some of the options look a little shiny like synthetic hair but you can adjust the color, hue, etc. So far I’m enjoying this app!

Trying new styles. This app allows African American women to see how a style looks before spending tons of money and not like it. Thank you to the creator.

Cute app!. I appreciate that they made an app for black women, cause all these others apps don’t have any options for us! But there could still be a lot of improvements, I dont know what length to wig to get and was trying to use this to help me decide but it’s not really accurate😅, this is more for just playing around🤣

Hairstyles. I like this app because you are able to play around with different hair colors and styles. I want to try different hairstyles and I want to make sure what looks right on me so, that’s why I decided to download this app.

Black Hair Styles. I really loves the various hairstyles to choose from. Many I thought of trying but didn’t want to chance it with my own hair. This app is a great option for that. Check it out.

Glad to have an app for black women!. I’ve wanted to try these try on apps for a while, and I’m glad to run across one for black women! Wish there were more ways to customize. Make sure your selfie is far enough, otherwise the wigs will block your face.

Easy app. Got the app because my daughter and I are looking for hairstyles for natural kinky hair. We wanted to see fun options before heading to the salon. Would like it if there was a grid to use to fit your face to the scale when taking your picture. Cool app.

I found you!. Today I came across an awesome APP that I came across, you mean I can try different hair styles, not to mention new hair color before running to the salon! Who doesn’t appreciate that! I love it!

Yay ! Hairstyles for my hair type. Fun to use ! Nice seeing myself with different styles before making an investment in the real thing. But a bit glitchy and unclear for me at times. In general though I do like the app and it was the only one I saw with Black centered hairstyles.

Enjoyable and time consumer. I just downloaded this app and I have already tried different hairstyles on here. They look funny, because some of these styles I have wore and I look nothing like the picture 😂😂😂😂. If you want to laugh and see what styles fit your head this is a great app as well👍🏽.

Realistic !. Great app with several different looks. I thought the hair was going to look cartoony like other apps but this one gives you realistic results ! I know what would look good on me now !

It’s a 4 star because. The app Is great but I really think the hairstyles that are free could be better and there is a white character as a model on a black app for braids and I think that is kind of racist and she looks like she’s from japan. Again a great app but kind of racist.

I’ve been looking for an app with black hairstyles. There are lots of options to choose from. Make sure your selfie isn’t too close, otherwise you’ll have issues “trying on” and maneuvering the different styles. If there was a way to adjust the uploaded photo, I would’ve given five stars.

THE ONLY BLACK HAIRSTYLE APP. I was looking for a black hairstyle stimulator app. This was the only one . I must say I’m impressed with many styles and colors. It’s not spot on but fun to play with and give you a general idea of what u would kinda look like in the style u play with.

Excited to find this app!. After trying multiple apps to sample hairstyles that didn’t match my hair type, i’m so glad I found this app that has variety options of what my hair actually looks like. Black and beautiful!

Just What I Need. This is the perfect app for black women. I was stunned when I seen it. I just knew I was gonna be disappointed but nope, some smart person thought about me!!

Disappointed!!!!. This app does NOT work properly. Adds are constantly interrupting the process. I cannot go “back” when I want to try something new; I have to start the process over again. Unlike the “white” app that I checked out, this one makes me fit and shape the style on my model head. With the “white” app, the style automatically fits. As I expected, the black app doesn’t work and this app appears to be the only app for black folk that is available.

Need More like this. Sad this the only app I can find with our type of hair. But also just tells me we’re that much more rare, unique, powerful, royal, and the world just suppressing it all and hating. But thanks!

Mid. This app isn’t the worst but isn’t the best. They only have a few choices that are free and they don’t look as realistic when on your head. The styles look good but when on your head it’s hard to tell how you really look. Your hair also gets in the way so there should be a tool where you can erase ur hair or remove it. But other than that I love how you have a variety of black styles (wish they were all free) to choose from. Most apps don’t have black hair styles featured and only show styles that people with straight hair or thin curly hair can do.

Finally, a hairstyle try-on app for black women!. I tried another app yesterday to see what a short curly hair cut would look like on me and there was literally only one Afro centric curly style available. You’ll have to maneuver a bit to get the hairstyles to line up nicely but overall it’s a decent app.

Review. Just got asked to write a review to get other styles unlocked. Even though it’s only a few minutes.. it’s a decent app which I could delete my real hair from the pic. Other than that it’s fine for now.

So far so good!. I’ve been looking for an app for Black hairstyles for quite some time. This one has really helped to make the adjustment from relaxed natural hair by showing me protective hairstyles as I transition to natural.

Best try out dreadlocks app!!. This app was exactly what I am looking for!! I just wanted to see dreadlocks and have options this app gives you 10 times more free options from the rip then others! Try it you won’t be disappointed!

Great app. This app is nice to test out black hair styles before you actually get them done! Only one I’ve found. So glad it exists!

Frustrated. I’m frustrated with the fact that while the app gives you an opportunity to take a picture, however the picture is the wrong size for the “try-on” hair designs. There needs to be a frame for the photo portion to know the exact size needed and all hair try-on sets should match this standard size.

Lots of fun!. Enjoying trying on and seeing what I look like with all these different options for MY hair type! Especially appreciate the options for color changes. Would like it better if I could fit the hair more to my face shape & size.

Great app. I appreciate this app for having black hairstyles and many options at that! This is the only one I could find. It’s easy to use, just would like to remove current hairstyle in original photo.

Super Cute for Black-girl friendly hairstyles. I had been searching for one of these try-on Apps that included hairstyles that tend to work for me: braids, afros, twist-outs, wash n go - they got it! It is fun trying new things out and shows me what to try next IRL

Cool App. Great app for ethnic styles. The app runs smoothly and hairstyles fit nicely around face. There are also options to color hair. Cool app if you want to try out a style without taking the plunge.

Very Helpful!. This is a very useful app to see how different styles will look on you. It takes some experimenting to adjust the hairstyles and adjust them to your face and head but the results are pretty helpful

Love it. Exceptional!! I love the options and ability to use all hairstyles regardless of my inability to understand technology like I should. It’s also doesn’t matter that I’m not black which is awesome cuz I’ve been wanting braids so bad lately!

My opinion. Awesome app was skeptical at first, cause alit would say free but when you look it’s asking you for money , this app did not do that to me, go and check for your self you would love it

Great App. Love being able to take a look at myself in these hairstyles. Some of them actually look really good. The only problem is the hairline is really off and we are natural hairline. Otherwise I really like this app!

Not very good. The app is pretty easy to use but it seriously needs to be fixed. The developer must not have checked to make sure the styles all work correctly. The last update was a year ago. I regret that I just purchased the extra styles. Some of them work but for many of the styles, I select one style but it loads a different one to my photo. Disappointing.

Does the job. Quick way to reference a potential new style.

Black Girl Magic. Great app to try out new styles and the only one I found that has Black hairstyles!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I just wish the app would allow you to erase your own hair first then add a new style. I’m looking for a really short style, so when I try them out they never fully cover my real hair so I can’t get a good feel for the style. This is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.

Reasonable. Not a great variety of freebies. A little confusing to use at first. Otherwise fun. Colour options hopeless - uses a rainbow spectrum instead of a real life hair colour spectrum.

Cool app!. Pretty easy to use. A few annoying pop ups. But I was able to find a few variations of the style I was looking to try, fit them to my face, and take a pretty decent pic.

Good concept. I love the opportunity to get a visual idea of hairstyles before committing. Pretty straightforward, just need to get the knack of resizing and customizing the wigs. But sure beats randomly buying these pricy bundles and wigs on a whim😮‍💨

I like it!. They give you a good range for the free hairstyles. I am still trying to figure out how to change the hair color from brown/ black to blonde. Overall it’s a pretty good app.

Easy. This app is very unique and easy to use. I have tried all sorts of hairstyles. I’m happy I found an app that allows me to try hairstyles that are specific to my culture.

Photo size. It takes too much effort to get the correct size of photo for the hairstyle isn’t worth the time and the hairstyles don’t look real. It would be fun for young girls it’s like playing with paper dolls. I didn’t mean to sound so harsh but I applaud ur efforts believe it or not and I hope u do try to make the changes I suggested.
