Infested with ads. Try another app, this one has a massive amount of ads including ones that pop up in the middle of you playing a video.

Works well but few bugs!. Works great for playing local videos in PiP mode. Couple bugs though, for videos playing in PiP, some settings like the audio boosting just don’t work (even though they work when the video is fullscreen. Also, menu colors don’t change even when set. Little bit more polish and the app would be perfect!

Stuck on an Infinite AD. There is now a forever loop of a white-screen AD that tells you to download their paid version of the app. Every time you press play on a video, it brings you to this 5-Second ad. And every time you dismiss it, it doesn’t then play the video, but brings you back to the video file’s information. I used to love this app, but the invasive ads are now too preposterous; so much that you can no longer use the app. I am uninstalling immediately and they have lost a future prospective paying customer in me.

Everything is good except..... Hi, I was planning to buy the premium version, honestly speaking I almost bought it but I was facing issues like when playing a music video if I minimise the player then for a split second it paused and then it resume playing and again when I return to the app it does the same thing. Sometimes videos been paused or showing loading though the files are saved locally. These issues are very much irritating. Waiting to hear from you.

In less than 3 minutes: Download, tried to open file…. then got smothered with idiotic, loud games and trash and then dumped directly into the App Store. So of course, it was immediately deleted.

Buying the upgrade gets you nothing. Purchased the upgrade, was billed twice, still get ads in the app. What a scam!

Would like to try the app before purchasing Plus but can’t even link my google drive. Whenever I try linking up with my drive account it just says that the app is blocked, I don’t know what the deal is and from what I see there’s nothing I can really do.

Truly the Best!. Hands down to the best free media player. Other free apps will make your life miserable if need to input subtitles. Adds are annoying as hail as they pop up anywhere. But even if you get adds in this app, it comes and goes completely. Plus you get many features as well! I’m truly amazed nplayer lite. Thanks for having our backs!

Good. It would be perfect if you could add the option to show/hide the subtitles with a gesture of your fingers.

Ads annoying. I want version 3.8.2 back. because it was best ever version of nplayer lite, because it was ad free version with no bugs.

Sleezy 18+ ads makes me avoid this developer. I was going to consider supporting this app and developer, but after being bombarded by sleezy 18+ adult content ads, that was what pushed me over to other media developers. Hey developer, you know that people under 18+ use your app and potentially family members. Perhaps monitor your ads in app and block adult content.

Needs Better UI Design and ATV version. An amazing media player. Do you plan to make a modern the UI ? And also please bring the player to ATV, thanks.

Added Ads. The old version just had a constant ad at the bottom of the screen that I still clicked way too often. Now they're everywhere, and downloading multiple files at once crashes because it tries to load another ad.

Add Clip cutter feature. Nplayer is really great app but it would be greater if you could add “clip cutter” feature too where we can cut the favorite or needed part of the video and save it for the later....

Not working probably. It’s not working and I can’t stream any video to my tv it’s just ad with every move asking to buy the paid app with full features it supposed to be with the full features and limited abilities to test the connectivity to network and Wi-Fi and the devices attached to it to show how good streaming the media.

Audio problem.. For the love of god fix the audio problem when you speed up the video it has been over a year!!!

Deleted. This app is extremely intrusive, always trying to force the user to upgrade.

really disappointed!! (user for over 4 years). i’ve been using this app for over 3-4 years with different devices , mostly the “direct URL” section recently they added an ad which would play the exact same second u play ur movie with an ANNOYING noise and u can only close the ad if u close ur movie too! so basically u either have to watch ur movie with the sound of the ad or u should delete this app :)

The BEST hands down!. I have tried every Media Player in the App Store, & this is the BEST one! And it's FREE. It allows me to access my music stored in my iCloud, so I can play it without having to pay for Apple Music & I don't have to download it to my phone. When I have some extra money I will gladly pay for the premium version! Thanks Developer's! Y'all did great!

The Streaming App i needed!. i use this app as a bridge for all my media servers to stream tv shows & movies on my phone, i also love the chromecast option as i have 3 on each tv in my home. nplayer is worth every penny.

Infested with ads. Don’t download this. The ads are extremely invasive in this one, with multiple full-screen ads before and after playing a video, ads in the file listings, ads while playing a video. They’re so invasive that I don’t even care how the software works and am uninstalling immediately. A “lite” version is fine, but if they’re so invasive that I can’t even comfortably try it out to evaluate if I want to buy the full version, it’s worthless in my book.

Good but bugged on audio boost. The audio boost function has no effect on audio in general settings. If I try to boost audio during playback, it says “please disable quicktine mode” and I clicked disable, but it didn’t disable. And there is no setting to turn off quicktime mode

Ads make it unusable. They are long, inappropriate, and the close button is so small you will accidentally be taken to the App Store to download an app you don’t want.

Crash report. It used to be great app and I was use it for saving musics those i recieved from other applications but as I updated it , it crashes as soon as I open☹️ please fix it ! I have 2gb data on it!!! I have SE

Auto crashes in 11.2.2. After updating my iOS I am having this problem.

Used to be good. I used to play 2GB video files using this app, but now everytime I tried to play one, it only managed to load for a couple of seconds before it crashed to home screen. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Wanted to see if I wanted premium. I wanted to test the app to see if I wanted to pay for premium because I think it’s a small price to pay for a developer to recieve compensation on a usedule app. I never got to test the app because the ads are rediculous and wasted so much time I couldn’t see how the app functioned. I write this just before deleting the app forever. Seriously, throtthle those ads back enough that people can atleast see if your app has the features they want. For real tho if you want to watch three ads you can’t “really” skip everytime you try and watch a video, this app os for you, otherwise, if you value your time, go ahead look for the next one.

Too many ads. I don’t like to rate an app poorly because of bad ads on the lite version, but this one has way too many loud, obnoxious video ads to be able to evaluate it properly. It seems like every time I would click anything another loud video and would pop up. I don’t mind paying $10 for the premium app but I’d like to see how well it works first. This light version does not give a good example.

Inferior by a decade. In general Apple apps are far inferior to samsung, but this one is like going back in time 10 years. The UI is for people with tini tiny fingers, and I'm a female! There are dozens of great video players on samsung for free....and apple gives almost no options it's really quite rediculous.

The Lite version seems useless. As best I can tell, this is just a spam advertisement vehicle! I installed the Lite version because I wanted to try it, and had seen glowing praise. The short is, it’s difficult to navigate, and mostly doesn’t do anything except display annoying ads that won’t go away, and keep repeating! I’ve contacted technical support, but haven’t yet received any response. All I wanted is a player that will play all music files in a folder or set of folders on an external SSD. This won’t play any at all!

All ads, all the time. Infinite (and really bad) advertisements. No X to close the ad, even when you wait through the long countdown. Seems to be quicker than other cloud players at accessing cloud folders but I can’t say for sure, since the ads have taken over all control. The paid version is reasonably priced but since I can’t test it, I’m deleting this free one and will look for a better option.

Plays MKV with PIP. You’ll get semi-porn ads between videos, but it’s a free solution to a common problem so if you can deal with that it’s not a deal-breaker.

Move previous/next subtitle section. İ love the function that I can drag the subtitle right/left and it move to previous/next subtitle section. But this function doesn’t work properly: i can move to next subtitle section as much as i want but i can move to previous subtitle section only one time. Can you fix this?

Having trouble with save to camera roll. After I updated to brandnew ios, and updated for the recent version of app, it keeps crashed whenever I try to “save to camera roll”. I hope this problem can be solved for the upcoming updates.

Free version - Glutted with Annoying Ads. Worked for a while. Right now I’m just about to dump it. At this point I would say “Don’t waste your time”.

Have a lot of ads. After a time getting better, it comes with a lot of ads. Ads in it makes you crazy. It comes again and again.

Annoying. Just sits there trying to force an ad and failing to even do that. If you want to encourage someone to buy the pro version don’t make the free version annoying.

V3.8.0 now displays multiple ads whenever you exit a video. Forcing you to wait seconds and close 2 ads every time, super annoying especially when you’re navigating your folders to look for something. I understand this only happens on the free version, but if you make it so unusable then people are not going to stay with you long enough to evaluate it before committing money to it, and it feels like you’re trying to force people to get the paid version.

Subtitle. Please fix the font size issues, it’s so tiny and there is option to adjust to make it viewable.

Does not support playing multiple folders. I’ve looked through just about every app there is for this feature, and sadly it is absent here as well. I’m sure this app is fine for any other purpose, but if you ever want to stream more than one album at a time, good luck finding any app that will let you simply play a folder and sub folders, or even simply add two folders of tracks to one playlist, because there are literally none it seems.

Too many ads. Way too many ads now

Mostly Ada. This app plays more ads than my own content. Ads are louder than content, impossible to skip or turn off. Use this app if you have a passion for watching ads. 😵‍💫

Works ok. The app is only ok, but the ad placement makes this app very inconvenient to use. I don’t mind ads on free apps but at least make it more user friendly.

Cannot download. Cannot download from local Upnp/Dlna service. When can fix it?

Crash. Oct 16 2016 (iPad Air 2, iOS 9.3.3) App extreme slow to load directories (Mobilelite G2). Once it finally does, app crashes soon as try play simple mp3 audio or even a super small mp4 video file (less than 10mb!). Hit play, watch app spin a few moments, and instant crash. Every time. Sorry Devs. If the lite version can't handle the simplest access and file playback, certainly can't chance investing in the nPlayer full version. (If you have it in your app library, BuzzPlayer app blows this one out of the water. Super fast to load directory, even with thumbnails for videos, very fast to stream, very powerful features. Unfortunately it seems to have disappeared from North American appstores, but the .ipa is available online if you search for it. I keep testing all the new video apps but none of them seem to come close to comparing to Buzz Player, nPlayer app included.)

I cannot open music files.. When I tried to listen to music, immediately left this app by force so I cannot play all music after the upgrade version.

Best player but ads cause crashing. The interface is great — has all the options you need and then some. More robust than VLC for sure. My main gripe with the app is that it constantly crashes from trying to load ads. My iPhone has Safari blocked (for productivity purposes) so when I close a video, an ad tries to play but crashes right away. I upgraded to the paid app to get rid of ads but developers should look into crashes.

Needs improvement.. Hey, I am a fan of the app. Appreciate your work. The A-B loop buttons are not responsive. The loop buttons and video timeline also disappear too quickly. Press the A of the to decide the start, but then the video timeline disappears, or if it doesn’t the B still does not respond to a single tap. It is like there’s a tap-to-wake on, but it’s not even asleep or whatever. I would gladly rate the app at 5 stars if the responsiveness of the video playback functionality buttons was snappy & maybe more intuitive. Here are some suggestions also: My personal preference is for the playback position to be modified by fingers on the frame of the video. It feels easier than using the tip of the finger on a playback bar in my opinion, and the left right movement have a lot of space to dictate sensitivity. It would be amazing to also have sliders on either side of the loop buttons to fine adjust them. Another incredible feature I haven’t seen implemented for looping would be to have the ability to set the sensitivity of the A-B loop button so that it would move more slowly in order to get exact positions. If there were arrow buttons to move the A-B loop, and each press could represent ____ amount of time (e.g. 200 milliseconds, 2 seconds). I haven’t found a player that has yet made looping into a snappy and intuitive experience. It seems like given the power of looping for learning things like dance or accents or cooking— it could be a very popular app. Thanks for your hard work and this great application. I look forward to what you do next.
