Game is great, however…... The game itself is great, it kind of reminds me of Tetris with fitting blocks where they go best. However, the ads are completely inappropriate. They claim that the game is for 12+ years of age, but the ads are things like a man very sexually feeling up a woman while they are doing a workout, then her boyfriend shows up and violence begins, and it gets worse from there. Also, starting playing it is so frustrating because of the ads! I understand it’s a free game and it has to make money somehow. The frustrating part is that I like to listen to my podcasts while I play, but I can’t do that at the same time. If I have my podcast running and open the game, it automatically stops my podcast because of the ad sound, then when the game finally gets done with ads, if I go to restart my podcast, as soon as I go back to the game, it again pauses my podcast to start more ads with sound. SO FRUSTRATING!!!!

Once decent puzzle game may damage your IPad. I used to enjoy this game although the ads were annoying, but not too intrusive. Now, literally, based on a timer, there is a take over ad that is between 40-60 seconds every stinking minute! For one minute of play, there is often nearly a 50:50 ratio of ads. This is not including the ads that run continuously at the bottom of the frame. Even more concerning was that my IPad started to heat up after about 5 minutes of game time and stayed hot during play, only o cool down once the game was closed. This doesn’t happen with any other app- including streaming. The ad mechanism also messes with game play as the game starts to stall at times, which never used to happen. Delete this piece of trash if you value your device.

Newest update............ I have played this game since I was a freshman in high school; I am now a freshman in college. Anyone who knows me, has spent any time around me, KNOWS this is my favorite game. I play.... playED... it all the time. Literally my battery data shows over 50% of it is used on the app. However, in the last 5 days since the update, every time I open it and am met w an ad, I close it. Now most of the time a 5 second ad isn’t that big of a deal to me, and it hasn’t been any time I lose a game. BUT! Every time I open the app???? Even if I have only switched screens for 10 seconds??? Absolutely ridiculous, and I am a little heart broken. This was something I used to keep my anxiety low and keep me calm, but with the newest update including the insane amount of ads, it no longer is able to do that for me. Maybe after 4 years w countless hours spent on this app it’s time to give it a rest, no matter how much it pains me to do so. 3 stars as a courtesy for the years of 5 stars content I received, even though it now is barely a 1. Changed ad frequency. UPDATE: The programmers seemed to have listened to our complaints. I redownloaded the game and it seems to be back to the original game. Therefore I’m changing my rating to 5 stars. Thank you for listening. I have had this game on my phone for several years. It’s always been a fun, relaxing game to play. It’s free, and I was fine with the ads. They would play before a new game started/after a game ended. But, with this latest update, the ads interrupt the game play, multiple times. It’s frustrating and breaks my concentration. This is the reason for the 3 star rating. Prior to this “fix”, it was one of my favorite games.

Please fix your latest update because I lost all my coins and hammers.. I have this game installed on both my iPads. I updated the one ipad with your update and lost all my coins and hammers and my daily coins etc for playing. I will not update my second iPad until I get my 17,500 coins and 12 hammers returned to me. I love this game and play everyday, however right now I’m disgusted and ready to dump it. Please return our coins and hammers, they cost real money and it is frustrating. You had this happen when u updated in January and you gave us our coins back. Please do so again so I can keep your rating at 5 stars. You will see another review frozen my other iPad, the one I updated and thank goodness I didn’t update both iPads at the same time. Argh, please fix please fix.

Very challenging. What makes this game more challenging than similar games is that when you get now blocks to play they never give you ones that make easy plays. So you have to try to keep the board clear enough to be able to play any shaped blocks that can show up. It is addictive. I am constantly trying to beat my best score. My top score was over 14,000 when the game quit working. I had to trash it and download it again. Now I am starting over with my top score at around 2,000. I will be patient and persevere until I beat my old high score.

An overall good game. This is the perfect game to play when you‘re bored. It’s simple, yet addicting. It doesn’t take much skill to play, but it manages to be rewarding. Making matches and racking up points is satisfying and losing doesn’t matter much since you can always play again. The ads don’t bother me, since they’re all either a single image or a video you can skip after a few seconds, and there are no in-app purchases of any kind. Overall, this super chill game is worth the download.

Block Puzzle Woody Original. This game is okay. It’s not amazing and it’s not terrible… but it’s not outstanding. The ads are to much and they ruin the whole “calm and relaxing” feel this game is supposed to present. Another problem is how just when you are about to pass your score, it suddenly gives you prices that would NEVER and I mean NEVER be practical to get any points. Please fix these two things mainly and listen to others feedback. I am not trying to be rude, mean, etc. when I say this… but FIX THIS PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! Stop just saying you will do something and start DOING it! Thank you and have a good day.

Used to be a great game - now Ads make it unplayable. I have loved this game since before my first iPhone 3plus. For years it’s been quite fun & relaxing to play. Now, with the latest updates over the past year or so they’ve added so many ad breaks (an ad break about every 5-10 moves) that the gave is virtually unplayable! Many times the ad pops up just as you’re about to place a critical piece - and it causes you to misplace that piece and shortly lose the game as a result. It also frequently changes the pieces you have available when you come back from one of the insanely frequent (every 5 seconds of play another 5 second ad) with new pieces designed to make you fail. Another insidious part of the ad interrupted gameplay is that it breaks your concentration and the flow of the game draining all of the fun out of the game. I have loved playing this game so much better than other versions that if they gave one the option of paying a Ad Free Fee (almost without regard for the price), I’d most likely pay it, but since they don't I can no longer play it! This is pure evil! One final note…I so hate, Hate, HATE what ads have done to this game that I will NEVER buy, or even play any of the games, products, or aps advertised in this game. Those I had previously downloaded - I have deleted!!! Talk about counter productive…this app is now a product killer!!!

Opens your brain. The only bad thing about this game is that there is no "undo" button. It is fun, time wasting, brain bending, battery burning, and, as everyone says, addicting. I have played it so many times, I can't even count. My high score just now was 10,799. Looking back, I missed one spot that could have let me keep going. The trick is to constantly be clearing. I've tried to build and build to get huge clears, but that inevitably ends with me building myself into a corner and getting pieces that won't fit. If you don't want ads, just put your device in airplane mode.

NOT a random game. More like playing chess with a loaded board. There’s no money involved—the game is free—so how dare I complain, but it is clear the game is stacked against the player by design. If you build a certain pattern, it’s guaranteed you won’t get the pieces you need to complete the puzzle. You’ll absolutely get ‘random’ pieces that won’t fit and will end the game. Don’t know why, since you’re not winning anything except a score, but maybe the game maker / app developers designed it so you are forced to watch more ads before you can play again. It just feels negative when you play the game and know it’s not a random, fairly designed game.

Loaded against the user.. For a game such as this one would think it wasn’t rigged against the player. But I have literal hours upon hours testing this. I have gotten to within 3 squares of having the entire board filled on multiple occasions. Then the 9 square will pop up every time. I have tried numerous patterns and it doesn’t matter which pattern I try whenever I get within a few squares of filling the board the 9 square pops up but only if there are not enough consecutive squares open to accommodate the 9. I deleted the app and reloaded it but now right in the middle of the round the adds pop up and when I x off the add it resets the puzzle back to the open board thus negating the round I was working on. Sad part is I downloaded the game for therapy due to injuries. It has now become an infuriating game....

Relaxing. Update: They have started putting ads on before you play now. Three very lengthy ads. Apparently they don’t realize what time length is appropriate to hold your attention. You are turning your customers away. If I have to wait for more than 15 sec to play a game, I lose interest. Haven’t you studied marketing or advertising? You lose your customer if it’s too long. I’m giving you two weeks to change it ( I’m sure others are complaining), and if you don’t, your deleted. These ads are stressing. Prior Review: This game is relaxing and zen-like. Great for winding down, but still requires brain work.

First Game I have ever been addicted too!. I love this game. I’ll find myself thinking about it and possible moves at just random times. If I have to wait in line or sit in a waiting room I am always occupied!! I never get tired of playing.... I find it’s more like......ohhh just one more game and I’ll stop. It’s never just one more. It’s a very simple game but it does require that you start “thinking” differently if you want to get a higher score. You will get to a point where you realize if you don’t try different things you will forever be trapped around the same score. So much fun!! Thank you!!

Enough with the ads!. I’ve had this game for many years (at least 4). The previous update where whenever you closed the app and went back and having to watch an ad or after you failed and had to start over. But now there’s ad breaks in the middle of a game? Multiple times? Are you kidding me? The latest time I placed 6 pieces before the second “ad break” came up. I get the developers want money and making deals with advertising companies. But ad breaks? Seriously? I use to recommend this game to everyone. I even got my friends and family to play it and we’d challenge each other to bear each others high score - mine is 25,280. Now I’m about ready to remove the app which I use to play everyday. Now because of the “ad break” I barely touch. I play until it forces the ad break and then I close it and don’t touch the app for hours and lose all interest in it. Glad the developers chose money over their consumers. I’m only giving it a 2 star because of my love I HAD for the game and the DAYS I spent playing this game. If it wasn’t for that it would be zero.

Extremely addictive but. Of course I give it five stars because it’s the most addictive thing I’ve ever played but the only problem is I originally thought that every round the pieces given to you must’ve had SOME way to fit so that you could move on yet I guess I was proven wrong since it will sometimes give me all the pieces and tell me I’m out of moves before I even put one down because the ones they gave do not fit. It’s very frustrating when I’m on a roll and then all of the sudden I’m forced to stop because the game itself does not give me the pieces that could even possibly help me move on.

Truly addictive. Lots of fun. Simplistic game that's allows you to challenge yourself. I downloaded a long time ago, and just opened the app to play today. So addictive I cannot put this game down. Sometimes I concentrate to beat my own score, but mostly just play for the enjoyment. Absolutely, love this simplistic game. I'm a Tetris fan but Tetris makes you frustrated with all the intense levels and speed the higher you go up. Wood puzzle is just fun and mesmerizing. Before you know it minutes and hours have past. Great for long flights or waiting in a Doctors office.

Woody Puzzle. This is a great game, but it stutters a lot. If you go out of it and come back—even after hitting the pause option, it breaks down to where you can’t move the blocks without dragging it. Then it stays small and does not fit into the blocks like it should. Often times, it will not put the blocks where you intended it to go (frustrating). This happens when you’re forcing the blocks to move because it gets stuck. It’s unfortunate because I think it’s going to be the difference between me continuing to play or not, I keep hoping every time I update my phone that this will be fixed, but this doesn’t seem to be the developer’s priority. Please help!

I love this game. I am writing this post to share the great news that this morning I more than doubled my previous high score and am now sitting on a proud 25,051! My biggest advice to anyone looking to boost their scores is “if you have a chance to clear a line...clear a line!” It is so easy to get distracted by the aesthetic of the game, it is very tempting to put pieces where they would fit so perfectly, but if doing that is not going to clear a line, it is not going to help your cause. This is probably the best game that has ever happened to me and I hope to grow my score so I am in the top 500 on the leader board (I am currently 1,496/2,288,030). I cannot recommend this game enough and good luck to you if you choose to download it!

yvonne_jay. I really like this game ! This is the original wood block game I started out with a couple years ago, then got attached to the rotating wooden puzzle version. I still like that quite a lot but have been coming back to this original version because I realize I can start doing better at this game by taking it slow and steady & if I re-think my strategies a little differently my scores are starting to go higher!! Thank you to the designers of this game!! On top of designing a great game, they don’t beat you over the head trying to get you to spend money !! I LOVE you guys for that......MUAH (big kiss!)💖🙋🏻😄

Love this game. I have downloaded lots of games to kill time but most games have all these commercials and Pop ups and try and get you to buy stuff and also a lot of games I tried to play to De- stress but they actually end up stressing me out because there’s a timer and they get harder and harder. I love this game because there’s no timer and I can just take my time and think. it relaxes me. we all have enough stress in our lives and our jobs. besides solitaire, this is the one game that really chills me out.

Ruined by excessive advertising. While the game itself is calming and fun, there is no option to pay for an ad-free experience. This means if you fail a round you *MUST* watch 2 minutes of ads before you’re allowed to play again. Sometimes, for good measure, it forces you watch two rounds of these ads. Worse, I’ve had a game interrupted by a sudden ad. I’ve emailed the developer to ask for a paid ad-free option, and of course their online submission immediately says there was a error. Naturally. I understand not everyone can or wants to pay for apps. I also understand ads provide an income for the developers. But offering a paid version, or even a monthly subscription would compensate for this. Please, please, PLEASE give us a way to stop the ads.

Lost my high score. I had to have my iPad wiped clean because I couldn't get my email. The lady at Apple assured me that I wouldn't lose anything because it was backed up at 2 a.m. in the morning. I have been playing my favorite game, this wood puzzle for over a year and loved it. I lost my high score record high of well over 5,000. Now I'm back to zero and am so upset that somehow it was not automatically backed up in iCloud. I love this game but starting over is frustrating. Is there any way you can retrieve my high score or instruct me on how to do it. By the way, what is the highest score ever achieved?

Ads ruined an excellent game. Since the last update, there are constant ads even during game play. Used to be able to play and only watch an ad at the end and a small ad at the bottom of the game board. Now you have to watch LONG ads when you open the app and during game play. Most ads are 15-30 seconds. If they were 5 second ads, it wouldn’t be bad but the ones that are playing are ridiculous. This used to be my go-to game for killing time. Not anymore.... Very disappointed. Update: the ads have gotten worse. Now they pop up while you are moving pieces, causing misplacement of pieces. Plus, the pop ups automatically open the App Store which is a bit concerning. An app shouldn’t be able to open another app without permission! Still very disappointed… Last update: UNINSTALLED

This is a great game that recently became unplayable. I’ve enjoyed this game for years. I have no problem with ads in between every game as I understand the purpose of them, but now that every game is constantly interrupted with “ad time” I immediately lose interest in playing. I hate to delete a game I’ve loved for so long but I’m about to. Maybe I’m hoping it’ll change back to just having ads in between the games. I will wait a little while, check back and see.

Uninstalled After 1-2 Years. So this game used to be good but has progressively gotten worse. I’m used to games having a ton of ads but there use to be a point where you could leave the app and come back later and resume your game straight from where you left but now every time you close or minimize the app window (for example taking a call or opening another app) you have to watch an ad. It gets quite annoying as most players (me included) play this game to pass time or while doing other activities. Next is the biggest issue and reason why I removed this app after having it for so long and that is the recent changes to the game itself. Up until a few weeks ago I could play quite a while and could reach at the VERY least 1000 points each game before pieces started to be harder to fit or given pieces didn’t fit whatsoever. As of now I can only barely reach 400 points before I’m given pieces that don’t fit. I thought maybe it was just my imagination but in over 50+ games over the span of a week the highest I’ve reached has been 800 points. I truly liked the game up until now but it’s no longer fun and good to play when I need a quick game to pass time. Maybe in the future I’ll try it out again if they change but as of now I’ll find another game.

Very Addictive!. Fun game. My sister introduced me to it. It’s my go to game to relax. Thank you, thank you for having the ads at the bottom instead of after every game! Some games go quite well, but some are over before I blink, so seeing the same ads 100 times a day was frustrating, but I’ve actually clicked a few at the bottom! Spoke too soon. The annoying ads are back! If I could X out ONCE it wouldn’t be so bad, but with most ads it’s TWICE, or sit and watch for 15 seconds until the second X pops up. 😕

Subtle. Like chess, this is a skill acquisition game dependent on the interplay of two, you and the computer. The puzzle requires you to figure out how to keep the board swept free of tiles. The computer will lead you to fill the board with tiles. The trick is to leave few or no holes as you stack the offered tiles, trusting that the computer will offer you the right combination to sweep. It will, but this is subtle. The annoying part is that the machine can turn, and offer only impossible tiles at some juncture when Al, the Gorithm, decides it’s time to end the game. Keep at it. I’ve broken 10,000, where I intended to stop and resume my life, but it is mesmerizing.

Once loved this game, but…. I have played this game for years. I loved it. It’s a game that relaxes me and I can play it if I’m waiting for an appointment or riding in a vehicle. I could put it down right away when I got to where I was going or my appointment started without worrying about losing my place. There were ads when you completed the puzzle, which is to be expected of most games. Unfortunately, in a recent update the ads now interrupts your play often and doesn’t wait until your done with the puzzle. It’s so frequent that I’ve deleted this game and am trying to find a replacement. It’s quite jarring. If they get rid of this offensive intrusion, I will reconsider and put it back on my phone. I wish they hadn’t ruined it.

Too many ads!. I used to play this game and loved that there were few ads between games. I recently downloaded the game again after not having played for a while and am blown away with the number of ads played. There are multiple ads between games and every time I open the app a new ad plays (for example, if I open a text message and return to the app, there is a new ad almost every time I open it.) While I love playing this game, I am getting frustrated with the number of ads (which wasn’t the case previously) to the point that I do not want to continue playing.

“Ad’s Time!” ?? 😒. As soon as I open the app there is ads up the wa-zoo. They give you an ad when you first open the app, every time you have to start a new game, and in the middle of when you’re playing the screen says “ads time” like are you serious rn?? I’m just trying to play my favorite game that never gave me random ads, this game was different! It was a good game before these ads… now you’re just like the rest. Please!! Stop doing so many ads! I get it, we all need to make some extra money but, think about the people to play your game… we’re not happy to play anymore..

Ads killed gaming for good. I played this game last year (free version) a lot and had to delete it because I wasn’t focusing on work. I downloaded it again during holiday break and have tried to play it. The amount of ads for the free version is absolutely ridiculous. Ads interrupt the game, if you close the game to quick answer a phone call or text and revert back to the game within seconds, you have to watch an ad. If your phone screen times out while playing you have to watch another ad. Sorry, but I have to delete this. The company has let the ads ruin a very simple game to get lost in.

Game is rigged. I play this game almost every night. After weeks of suspicion, my thought was right. This game autopopulates random pieces and sometimes there’s no way to win a puzzle with the pieces it gives you. I used to think that I had to think hard in order to get it right to move on to my next pieces, but when I once had three new pieces populate and then the game automatically say “no more moves” without me even getting a chance to place a single block, I knew it as rigged. It’s not so much of a puzzle at that point—more of you being lucky if you have enough space for the next random three pieces it’ll give you, without having to do any heavy thinking of calculating which space would be best.

Ads are ridiculous!. I have had this game on my phone to several years. Was a fun, simple time killer. It keeps your mind engaged and is actually relaxing. The only problem with this game is that the ads have gotten completely out of control. When I first got the game there were no ads. Next you would get ads if you lost and wanted to restart a new game. No big deal. Then it became ads when you opened AND when you lost and wanted to restart a new game. Now it is simply ridiculous, you have t watch ads when you open the game, when you lose and have to restart, and now RANDOMLY WHILE YOU ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME!!! Completely infuriating! You literally spend more time watching ads than you do actually playing the game. Sad to say I will be removing this game from my phone. Not worth the trouble anymore.

Fun game but.... Fun game, really is. Been playing for years now. Somewhat recently they changed the advertisement system. Anytime you leave and come back you get an advertisement. Having a text conversation? Every time you go to reply you’ll come back to an advertisement. I listen to podcasts while playing this a lot and this will be the system play podcast, open woody, get ad, ad stops podcast and changes what’s playing, podcast won’t start back, exit app to start podcast again, come back, get ad, which stops podcast again. The only thing that breaks it is some of the advertisements don’t stop my podcast (or music.) Again, been playing for years but like most apps these days the advertisements ruin it. I deleted the app. How many ads had I watched before this just because I enjoyed the game enough? Back when the ads only played after you finally lost? Well, more than the 0 I will be watching going forward.

I *LOVE* this game, BUT…. This app is one of my two favorite go-to’s for relaxing and passing the time or calming myself from anxiety attacks or rough days. The game itself is great. But the ads are out of control. It was bad enough that an ad would pop up every single time you minimize the app and come back to it, but tonight for the first time I was in the middle of playing and all of a sudden I had this little thing pop up that said “ad break” or “ad time” (something like that) followed by an ad mid-game. This is basically unplayable for me now, it’s just too frustrating. I went in search of an ad-free version to buy but they require monthly/yearly subscriptions to REMAIN ad-free. PLEASE just make an ad free version where you purchase it once and done!

Love the game. I love the game, I spend hours playing it, especially when I am on long boring conference call, or just to kill time waiting around. The only complaint I have is, I listen to podcasts and the app for a radio station. The problem is between each game when I get the adds, don't mind them but hate how it stops my connection to the radio or stops the podcast and I have to open those apps back up and restart the radio or podcast. Very annoying thing to have to deal with.

What ever you do, DO NOT RATE THIS GAME!. You know I really love this game tried all sorts of different ones trying to find a good one and I thought I had it with this one but then I made a mistake I put five stars on it and then in the very next game, the algorithm changed to where I couldn’t possibly win it and commercial started at least two for every game which really doesn’t seem like that big a deal but 60 seconds of commercial for a crappy game that you’re lucky if it lasts for three screens is absolutely worthless. By actual count I got 7L shapes in a row I mean three Ls seven times. I really feel like I was fortunate to get that far without Losing. To get seven Ls in a row like that it’s impossible to win because L only fit so many times. So there’s really something wrong with the game.

IT IS JUST AN “OK” GAME :/. I would give it a higher rating if it was fun and not frustrating! I only play to pass time when waiting on life or such in other games. There is no incentive to play and it seems like they try to make it impossible to ever do really good on the game! Others seem to enjoy so I guess that is good, but when I play I will be doing really good then it gives you 3 of the same shape which seems to always cut my game short and just makes me frustrated. I was talking about it to my boyfriend and my son so they tried it because they wanted to beat my score, but they too ended up frustrated and didn’t enjoy it! It isn’t horrible, but just not really fun at all! They both quit altogether, but I have given more chances then I should have!

It's Really Good. Who knew that a game with just one level, and no storyline, could be so captivating? It's been seven months -- daily play -- and I'm still infatuated with this game. Almost no apps can do that. Sometimes I play to relax, without concern for the score. And sometimes I strategize and play the odds. Either way, there is tremendous satisfaction watching those little blocks melt off the board. September, 2017; Five months of daily play, and it's still fun. Many puzzle games have levels that get progressively more difficult, until I get to the point where it's just not fun anymore, and I stop playing. Wooden Block Puzzle has just one level. It is always the same... never gets harder to play. But it never gets boring, and has actually become more fun the longer I play, because the possibilities are endless, and the challenge is built-in. You can try to beat your own high score... or not. Very well-crafted by some genius developer. Thanks, Dev. Previous Review: Fun, relaxing, kinda zen. I'm enjoying it.

Are You Serious With This Update?! These Ads?!. I’ve had this app for probably 6 or 7 years. It’s the best game on the App Store, it’s the only game I’ve had on my phone longer than a week. One of the BIGGEST benefits of this app is there are barely any ads, unless you lose, unlike every other game on the App Store where there’s an ad every 30 seconds. NOW I update my app and every time I open Wood Block Puzzle there’s a full minute of ads??? If I switch to another app, to send a text message for example, and come back 10 seconds later, there’s a full minute of ads????? Are you guys serious?? You ruined the best thing you had going for you. FIX THE ISSUE. That is absolutely absurd. It’s now worse than all those other apps that play an ad every once in a while. I can’t believe you ruined your app. FIX IT. FIX IT. FIX IT.

Disappointed!. This was my favorite game. I get the fact the pop up ads are the funding behind the game. I also realize I’m one person out of thousands and my deleting the game won’t affect the millions of dollars pouring in… that darned almighty dollar! I can’t even play the game anymore on account of the tremendous amount of ads that consume it! 30 seconds of play, then pop up. 2 minutes of trying to clear the ad. 30 seconds of play and you guessed it, pop up ad! It’s no longer a game. It’s a ton of ads with a quick, really short pop up game attached somewhere in the middle of all that. If you’ve managed to read this far, thank you for listening! It is appreciated!!! Thank you for the ride, I thoroughly enjoyed it! My addiction has been treated!!!

Great game but too many ads with recent updates!. I’ve been playing this game for YEARS on multiple devices, it’s always my go to game. Here recently there’s been so many ads it’s ridiculous. Ads as soon as you open up the game, while playing the game, after running out of space for blocks, and while trying to navigate the home menu. Pretty disappointing, I did consider paying for no ads but it’s a subscription based ad free experience. I’m personally trying to avoid subscription based things unless I absolutely need them. Maybe one day but for now this is a goodbye unfortunately.

Mandatory theme change? Really?. So today, January 4th, I opened the Puzzle to see that a theme change is available. I can see through the cover screen that it’s a Christmas theme. I love Christmas. Always enjoy it. But, again, IT’S JANUARY 4TH. I don’t want the Christmas theme. But there is apparently no way to NOT select this “available” theme!! Maybe an explanation of the word “available” is in order?! Available does not mean mandatory. Available means you. An choose it, or decline it. It’s just available to you. The game that I used to play for stress relief is now causing me to write a frustrated review. Not because it matters all that much. I just really hate it when my phone or any app thereon, tells me I HAVE to choose something I don’t want to. Like a Christmas theme in January!! I really could care less about changing the theme of my supposed stress relieving game. So now I’m relieving my stress by ranting into the ether and deleting this game so I can install something else that’s “available.” Jiminy Christmas!!

Lol @ the Christmas rant. I spend wayyyy too long on this game trying beat my score and numb my existentialism BUT I love it. Also, if someone’s reading this, I highly recommend you read the review about the Christmas theme cause 1. If you know, you know 2. It’s the only reason why I’m reviewing this cause I can’t respond to it with the comment and it made my NIGHT. Also, if you’re new to this game, you’ve now been warned of its addictive quality. Pro tip: it’s all a mind game, the moment you think “oh I got this,” I promise, you’ll fail. Never look at your score, focus on one line at time (not the entire board of getting bonus’ (slow and steady really does win the race). Peace out, a-town down.

Addictive, addicted, help! 😉. I'm up to 8483!! Not sure if I'll ever get there again to beat my high score. I love this game. I like that I can stop anywhere I want without having to save, remember my entire board or completing the game (especially when I start making careless moves out of haste) and can come back when I have a clearer head and more time to continue. I also enjoy taking risks just to see if my intuition was right for the next pieces coming. I think it's helped me to look more carefully at what's in front of me, (not to always go with the obvious) to prepare for what might be coming and to try to be ready for anything. Thanks for a great game that though it's not rocket science, (thanks again 😉) it still makes one think. (Spatial reasoning)

The most addictive.....omg.... I've never come across a game that was so simple yet so addictive... you don't need levels, or to turn the pieces , an undo etc. that would make it too much like Tetris and defeat the purpose of just playing to see how far you can go ..over and over. It only takes 1 piece to ruin the whole thing, and so that's kind of the whole point of continuing. An undo button would take away so much of the addictiveness and excitement/frustration. I mean, if you wanted to add playable variations to keep the app fresh and exciting, there's a possibility but don't change the one basic concept, ever! Thanks

Awful Update. Update: The excessive ads have stopped & the game is back to the game I enjoy! Thank you for taking our complaints seriously & giving us back the game we love!! I have had this app for years (probably close to a decade), and loved it. It’s a fun and easy game to pass the time. However, this new update is frustrating. I despise the very random “ad break” in the middle of the game. It always makes me think I hit the ad banner at the bottom. I understand and respect the ads after there are no more remaining moves, but to put it in the middle of play is unnecessary. Furthermore, the frequency in which this “ad break” pops up is issue #2. If there must be ads in the midst of the game at least do so sparingly. *Update: I timed the frequency of the ad pop up, and it occurred once a minute. One 5 second ad break every 60-ish seconds!

Fun to play, but you have to accept. That the game WILL cheat. You assume that the block shapes it gives you are randomized; they are not. When the program wants you to watch a commercial, long repeated sets of large right-angles will cripple you. Similarly, see how consistently a nine-square pops up immediately after you run out of room to place one. Need just one more vertical or horizontal to complete four or five rows you’ve carefully assembled? Sorry, it’s time for a long string of angles, until you’re out. It really is fun though. I play to see how far I can get before the game’s non-randomness knocks me out. Made it past 6000 so far.

Brain stimulator. I just started playing yesterday, but so for it has really peaked my interest. Keep it up👍🏻. So now I've been playing close to a month. I just can't get enough. Very addicting and brain challenging😍 It just keeps getting better and better😀 Like I said, it just keeps getting better and better. The only thing that would make it better is if the time of day showed at the top of page so I don't get in trouble when playing at work😀 Wow! Addictive personality. Love this game. Too much. It’s so addictive that I play it all the time. It’s calming. The only downside is when you leave the app to check a message etc when you re open you get another add. Wish there was a paid version to remove the adds.

Wooden block puzzle game. Once you start you can stop, I agree with the point of “being set up to lose” to some extent, although every now and then it gets me further. Although I suppose almost all games are now set up to non-win threshold in order to play and finally buy another one.

Challenging and addictive. Although it may not seem so at first, you'll quickly see that it is a game of strategy and forward planning, staying ready for the next combination Wood Puzzle throws your way. Be prepared for a curveball, just when you think you have it mastered.

Battery in IPad affected by ads.. As soon as the advertisements were reintroduced, the battery power of my IPad became very negatively affected again. Dangerous to the life of my IPad. I don’t even have to be playing for long for the battery to go low. Before they put on the constant ads I loved this game. Then the ads came and I became concerned for the battery life of my IPad. Then they stopped and my battery lasted easily. The ads are back, and my battery power is seriously affected. I haven’t been playing all that much today and the battery is so low. I will probably have to delete,this game to save my IPad as a usable tool. Very sad. Just saying. I think I hold the world record score for this game. Sad. If I could purchase this game so that I could play without ads, I would.

It's GREAT!. This is really great and everyone should get Wood Puzzle. It is a great pass time and even if you don't have Internet, it still works! Though I do have a little problem… I can't get on the leaderboard. It is just not opening! Other than that, everything is great, though that little part could improve.

Fun Game. It’s a great game to make you think you need to concentrate. Perhaps you could make a take back last move button as I often accidentally place cubes when trying a position. Also offer ad free. I’d pay a few dollars for these changes. Well worth downloading though.

Best way to pass time. I thought initially that this game would be like all the others. I was very pleased to discover that it requires some thinking to get a high score and so far it hasn’t asked me to buy anything else.

Addictive but ads are SO irritating. I love the concept of this game and could play for hours but the intrusive ads make it impossible. Look, I know we have to pay for this stuff somehow, so how about creating a paid version that is ad free? I'd happily buy it. The ads are designed to be near impossible to make disappear, with the delete button in different places each time, and the banner ads across the bottom are triggered too easily, taking you to a website. Mr or Ms Developer, you're being just plain greedy. I'll more than likely delete it soon which will be a great pity as it's heaps of fun.

Game great but huge amount of spam is ridiculous. I love the game & have a score of over 30,000 BUT whenever I accidentally brush the bottom of the screen one of the endless ads open on safari. The issue is not the ads but the dozens of spam emails that swamp my inbox from being sent to those sites is overwhelming.....& everyone of the spam sells dubious/illegal products from Russian models to weight loss pills. It takes weeks for unsubscribe to work. The game is great but I no longer play it as the result of enjoying the game is completely unacceptable

Addictive! Skilful! Time waster!. My 1 hour 15 minute train trip to work goes very quick when immersed in this game trying to beat my high score! I have literally missed my stop in the city thinking the trip was far too quick to be my stop already! By the time I realised what station I was at, the doors were closing. I had to get off the train at the next stop and go back! A great time-waster in a good way!

They've lost me. I have been addicted to this app for years, but the outrageously frequent ads (I'm talking every few minutes) that have been introduced are so infuriating that I stop playing in disgust. Plus you cannot close the ads but get automatically sent to the App Store. They've lost me. At least it has cured me of wasting all those hours playing this game, I suppose!

Good game but app needs work. Game provides hours of entertainment. Great for when on the train or bus. But the app has a few glitches and needs some work. On the rare occasion the pieces stop moving and decide they want to be placed where you don’t want them. Also sometimes the piece will jump from where you place it to somewhere else. As well as the odd notifications when you open the app with two cancel options. If those were fixed the app would be perfect.

Too Many Repetitive Ads. I’ve been playing Woody Origin for several years so it was hard to delete the app when the time came. In the past 6 months something changed and ads started appearing literally within every 1- 1.5 minutes. I have no objection to ads because I understand the need for revenue, however these became so frequent and disruptive during a game, that I could no longer play without getting frustrated and annoyed. Considering I was playing this game for pure relaxation, there became no point anymore. I can’t afford to pay to get rid of the ads so I sadly said goodbye to Woody Origin forever.

So many ads - very unhappy. I want to start out by saying I LOVE this game. Over the years I’ve had it I’ve spent a lot of time on it. Wooden Block Puzzle Game. Changed lap tops.....forgot to download for a while. Wondered why my games were a bit dull. Then I saw it again. Happily re started... I am now a fan all over again. Boy,—- one has to watch those cheeky blocks, if I am close to the full screen, it only takes a slight lapse in concentration before I become trapped by a large block. Great fun, infuriating loss, super challenge. Welcome back to my laptop.

Great game!. And no problem on iPad. Stable app and saves scores as you go. Haven't seen a leader board however. I see some players think the game is rigged to make you lose. It's true that when the board is getting full you do seem to continually get difficult new pieces. However this adds to the challenge and needs a very careful approach to minimise risk. I have now exceeded 100,000 score, so it is possible.

Addictive!!! & then it freezes!. Explain on how can most points be scored. Please add a 'T' shape. Annoying adverts & takes quite a while to reload the game. If not paused, then the game freezes & a restart means losing all the points earned before moving away to another function on the phone. I have experienced this to the extent that I had to delete the app & lose all my previously scored 12,336 points.

Ridiculous amount of advertisements. I have been using this app for a few years now and it never had advertisements. The ads were introduced however long ago- a few months(?) and it is now BEYOND ridiculous. Instead of ads appearing after losing a round, they now pop up every 2-3 minutes DURING the game. I understand the need to generate revenue and ads are the easiest means of doing so but it has come at a cost. I barely use the app now and would not recommend it unless the ads are reduced to appearing in between rounds or at the bottom of the screen, as they had been. Only one star, sorry.

Wooden puzzle very addictive. Great game always trying to beat my last score , makes you think , so good for the OLD brain. Also very frustrating at times, as the right blocks don't ever seem to come up when you want them , I suppose that's what makes the game so fascinating and makes you keep on trying. Thankyou

Challenging. I love this game, very relaxing & addictive - trying to beat my own score. What’s the highest points that anyone has achieved. My daughter is up to 11,107 right now, yet I’m still trying to get over 3,000.

GAME IS RIGGED. Whilst this is a fairly good Tetris type game with a twist, it is clearly programmed to make you lose. It took me a couple of hours of gameplay before I finally worked it out. As the game progresses it gets considerably more difficult to play because it consistently gives you shapes that you can’t fit on the game board. Unless you leave enough open spaces to fit virtually every possible shape combination that may come up next then the game seems to deliberately deliver shapes that you cannot possibly use consequently resulting in ‘Game Over’. The original Tetris even in the extremely difficult levels still gives you a bit of a chance unlike this game but perhaps that is its purpose. Only the developer can tell us.

Looks simple enough but quite challenging. This is my second go to game behind Township. This is my filler that doesn't require anything of me. You can leave and come back to it. It took some time to develop strategies but now I love trying to beat my PB. Highly recommend it.

Good chill game. Enjoying this game a lot to chill and wind down for some head space. If you can tolerate ads it’s really not too bad. The ads aren’t unbearably long all the time and you have the option to skip majority of them after a few seconds. I wouldn’t subscribe for this app to remove ads, that’s a bit far fetched in my opinion; my preference would be a one off purchase at a reasonable cost considering conversion rates ($AUD). Otherwise great app, am genuinely enjoying it and do recommend it. If the game was to be upgraded I would like to see the addition of ‘Z’ and ‘T’ blocks as well as a menu option to have the choice of 2 styles of game, how it is now as well as a version where you can rotate the blocks (without a subscription or ad based rotates).

Great brain game. Just love this game but could we have something to change the colour scheme of the board and tiles please. Also, a way to avoid the adverts after every round....which is a pain in the you-know-what! Happy to pay a small amount to avoid the ads. Cheers ! VM

Awful awful update. I’ve loved this game for years and didn’t mind that it would show an ad at the end of a game. However new changes now not only force you to watch an ad when you open the app to play a game (annoying), it now will also interrupt you mid-play to show ads (super annoying)! Extremely disappointing, am playing it a lot less as a result. Avoid this one, find a different block puzzle where the developers are less greedy for ad revenue at the expense of ruining the user experience.

The house cheats?. How does the house configure each group of three? Does it deliberately try to prevent a “run”, or is each group of three a random selection? I think the house cheats. It knows where I place the blocks and is programmed to disrupt me.

Updates make it worse. I had been enjoying hours of mindless fun on this game over the last few months until the latest upgrade. Now the pieces stick all the time and often won’t land on the board or drop in the wrong place if you can get them to move, ads pop up and won’t close and the game has lost all of its enjoyability.

Favourite Game Ever!. This is my favourite game! Have been playing for 3 years now and have hooked many of friends into this game! I highly recommended this game if you want a bit of challenge. Only complaint is that there are many many many ads! After every game you receive a 30 second ad and it gets extremely annoying

Should be able to rotate the blocks. I find this game fun and a good passtime but I feel like it would be even better and more of a goal would be helped if you could rotate the blocks it would also help when blocks get all piled up and you have no choice but to place it somewhere and waste a really good score. Other than that it's a great game!

Massive increase in ads since update. Latest update punishes you for playing with loud obnoxious ads every single time you open it. They were bad enough when they were just between each game, but now if you even switch between apps for a moment you will be greeted by another ad. Ever time. I have had this game since it was new and played it daily, but this is the final straw. I’m deleting it. Do not get this game, the ads are worse than on any other. And as for paying $4.99 a month to go ad free, seriously? I have streaming services that charge that and give me thousands of programs to watch for my money. I’m not paying it for one game!

Top game. Excellent brain training game, my 10 year old loves it... not much adds , however I gave only 4 star because I think it would have been better if you could change the shape of the blocks to fit in some tight areas and game should be over if you fill right up to the top with no space for any more.. but other wise very good game..

In Game Ads. While the game is addictive, the recent influx of ads every few seconds, (whilst actually in the middle of playing a move), is super frustrating. While I don’t mind, and even expect, ads between games, the in game ads, which are up to 45 seconds long, are ridiculous. I will not be paying this game much longer if it continues. Contacting “help” is impossible … I have tried many, many times!

Terrible. I have played this game for years & really enjoy playing. recently the game developers added its add time. Every 3-4 minutes there is a pop up add. It makes the game frustrating to play. Amazing game!. I love this game and play it almost everyday! Although I love it so much I have a little problem, whenever I can't place anymore blocks and the music that plays when it's over the music glitches and the game crashes. I hope this can be fixes so I don't need to reopen the game every time I would like to restart! Once this is fixed I would be glad to change 3 into 5 stars! <3

Change unlimited play feature. Great game but I would prefer a game limit like Candy Crush because you then have to be patient and wait for the next reload. When you can keep playing you become careless and lose concentration.

Sneaky ad play. After everyone complained about how ridiculously frequent the ads had become, the developers wound that back - BUT now the ads have been designed in a way that you can no longer click a cross to shut them down, you HAVE to go into the app or further to be able to turn off the ad to play. I’ve played this game now for about four years and it has always been that you watch the ad and then click a cross to get out of an ad after watching it… but this is no more! I should not HAVE to go into an app to keep playing the game of the app I have taken the time to download and play. I doubt I’ll be playing much until this is changed. I can imagine the motive behind this shift is that the developers get money if people click on the app to get it, but requiring players to do this against their will is just one step to far in my view. Really disappointing.

Deleting now. So bad since upgrade.. Every time I play the game I get an ad, which is fine, but if I go out of app to look at a text and then go back to game, I get another ad. And to make matters worse, the ads are often impossible to exit. When you press the little x it sends you to the App Store. Some ads blast music and noise at you. It’s awful now. Deleting.

I’d pay for an ad-free version. That doesn’t seem to be an option though. After each puzzle I get an ad and sometimes have to shut down the game to get rid of it. That’s the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars. I love it; it’s mentally challenging once you start playing for the really high scores. But I get sick of seeing the same ad over and over after each round.

Great to improve spatial skills. Good way to pass time and relax. Will improve all spatial skill sets over time. Only needs a small tweak to earn five stars. Happy as and free. Such a great way to just relax and let your mind run free.

It’s great but ads are making the game lag big time. Love the game, my boys like playing it too but the stupid Uber ad is annoying as hell and keeps making the game lag, after a while I give up and it’s getting to the point where I’m going to delete it if it keeps lagging! Frustrating but fun.. The game itself is fun and challenging... But seriously, what is it with all the ads? I am almost at the point of deleting the game because of all the ads. I understand that it’s a free game and you have to pay for it somehow, but how about offering an ad free version as well!!

Addictive fun. I really enjoy the challenges in this game. It’s great fun and hard to put down. I’m disappointed that the thousands of coins I had accumulated have today just disappeared. And the coins from today’s bonus didn’t register either. Glad I didn’t spend any real money.

I like it. This game is very addictive, I haven’t put my phone down yet to take a break. But if there were levels to beat were you have to recreate an image or something along those lines then I’d definitely would recommend this game to everyone

You can only place a couple blocks before an ad plays, making purchasing the paid version necessary if you want to keep playing. Unfortunately, I will be looking for a new app after about 5+ years of using this app.

Best so far. I love this game - it is seemingly simple, deceptively difficult, and completely absorbing. My only criticism is that it would be nice if the game kept track of say, your top 10 scores instead of only your highest score, as well as showing how your score compares with other players. I hit upwards of 7800 once, and it would be nice if I had a record (instead of my faulty memory) of how close I have come to that again, and how that compares with other players.

Block drop meditation. This meditation game is an absolute reset. The people who know that I play this game make comments like I play a game that I can never win. I have stepped up the game to know that I won when I know I’m about to lose. This is due diligence winning this game keeps me on top of my game. I broke my high score by almost 1000 more points this morning. I don’t know I’m going to have a good day!

Disappointing. The basic idea is great. But I find the game pointless and frustrating over time. The first time I played I reached I nice score only to find out the game would fight me every single play after that. Sometimes it feels rigged, where a long strings of the same bars going in the same direction, or other time L shapes would come in arrow making it impossible to play any thing interesting. It doesn't feel random. Sometimes it feels as if the game intentionally brings out the opposite shapes. In many ways the old tetris was superior in that one can rely on skills a little more than on chance, which feels suspicious. Too bad because the base game is good and entertaining...

Drives Me Crazy. At first I didn't like that weren't any instructions or "rules of engagement" but I did easily figure it out. It makes me nuts but I love the challenge and continue to keep trying to beat my last score. I like the sound effects too. And, even though I'm not crazy about the dang ads, it's what makes this game FREE so I can tolerate it. Kind of wish the screen rotated but for the most part I will continue to enjoy and play this crazy Wood Puzzle Game.

Impossible. I have played this game for at least two years. After an update it became impossible to score over 6,000 and my high score is much higher than that. But for some reason, the game almost always ends with the three choices being unusable. Who decided that giving blocks that are unusable was a good idea? I would rate this game higher if it wasn’t for the last update. It was fun and challenging, very rarely ending with all choices being impossible. At least make it possible to play the pieces (or at least one or two of them) if we are good enough to see where to fit them. Then we beat ourselves. Right now the game is stupid and frustrating. Let me know when you’ve fixed it.

Insane(ly) fun game. This is not a game which tests your skill; it's a game that tests your sanity. When I started playing, my score went from consistently low to a very high score. Then back to low where it stayed for so long that I started talking to the game. It was obviously anticipating my moves, just messing with me, daring me to get out of my slump. Then out of nowhere, I got my highest score ever. The victory was short-lived as I realized "the game" had let me win out of pity. I showed it ... I deleted it from my phone. But not for long. RATZ!! Hooked again.

Woody Block Puzzle Fun. I love this puzzle game! It challenges your mind and is simple but also complex! When playing the game my mind is so involved that even a few minutes of play brings about pleasure complexity, and desire too win! Sometimes it is hard to put down but every puzzle play has challenged my mind and adds a sense of complete and enjoyment! My only issue is I have a hard time putting the game down! Used to be my favorite app. I used to LOVE this app. Calming before bed, fun way to pass time, I even had friends download it and we’d play seeing who could get the highest score. Now it’s not nearly as fun. I can’t even play an entire game without multiple ads interrupting my game (which as weird as it may sound screws up the thought process)… it used to be there was only an ad after I lost or closed out to app for over an hour or so but not it’s like every 3 minutes. I understand apps have ads but this got out of control and it’s worth it anymore.

Creative game, BUT!!!. The first time I touched this game, I felt it’s an addictive game. But the more I play, the worse I feel about it, because it happens that you build all time well and system gives you 3 blocks you definitely don’t want and no way you can continue. It’s like when the game wants you alive, you can play forever; when it doesn’t want you to play, you can die in a sudden! The suggestion I give to developers is: show 3 blocks which will show up in the next around. The showing in advance enables players to make a fully preparation and makes the game more reasonable.

Review of this game.. I enjoy playing this game because I have to make different shaped blocks fit together in to a grid. I freaking love grids. For real. It would be wonderful to live in a grid of streets and buildings. 90degrees-rows & columns is the life for me “hey honey, I’m gonna go around the corner for a pack of candy cigarettes or some more bubble juice for my bubble pipe.” So when I say this, she knows I’m going around a beautiful 90 degree corner. So this game is as enjoyable as an Archers of loaf album.

Sprung. So I downloaded this game because I have a son with ADHD and it seems to help him. I downloaded to his phone and seen the enjoyment he gets from playing it so I downloaded it to my phone and I'm just as joyful and entertained as he is. So every device now has this app and everyone in the house plays and competes with each other to see who gets the highest score. Yes the ads are truly annoying but overall the game is addicting

Updates not working. I have faithfully updated this game In hopes you would have figured out what makes the game freeze and then reset itself to zero. Maybe you should add the question - do you really want to reset score. If no, it remembers and then let's you start another game with out losing your score. If yes, then it should reset the score to zero as if it has never been played. I love the game but this freezing and wiping your score out leaves a lot to be desired. Avid player, Bonnie B

Way too many ads. Update March 2023: I’ve reduced this to two stars because the ads have gotten even crazier. Ads now pop up MIDGAME. Never had an experience like that I’ve played this game every single day for four years. It’s getting hard to justify keeping this game because of how many ads there are now. I understand an ad in between games but there shouldn’t be an ad every time I leave in the middle of a game and come back to finish it. A year ago I would’ve given this game five stars,But due to the amount of ads I can only give it three.

I loved this game before… edit to today as back to loving this game. I loved this game before they started putting up ads every minute. Before the ads would pop up after you lost the game or if you left mid game and returned. Now they have ads every minute, I won”t be playing this any more. Edit: changed my review back to 5 stars as they have gotten rid of the ads while playing the game. This is one of the best games I play!

AMAZING!. I just got this game and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! I don’t usually write reviews but I just liked this game so much I decided to. I love this game sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!! The only down side to the game is that it is so addictive. Before I knew it 6 hours had game by and it felt like 20 minutes. Totally worth it thought. And right after I got this game people saw me playing it and got it and now they love it too!! The Best wood block game!. This is the third game I’ve downloaded that is similar to others. This is by-far the best in this category. The other puzzles were very poorly put together; they would freeze up; very hard to win; and were so small they would quit in a couple minutes. This puzzle is just the opposite. I love it and am completely hooked. Give it a try, you won’t be sorry!

Bad Developer Decisions. When Ads Time showed up a little while ago everyone became really frustrated and angry with the blatant greed that consumed the developers. Then, Ads Time went away for a couple of weeks. We thought, oh joy! They care about what players are actually feeling and are listening. NOPE! Ads time is back. You are greedy and it is disgusting how you’ve destroyed our faith in you. I think it is time some regulations are imposed on game apps for how many, how often, and of what quality. Enough is enough. Pay for no adds? Not this game, not at a yearly fee, and NOT at the outrageous price you charge!

Barely any playtime. I know how important ads are to the developers, and I’m ok with having ad breaks. However, the latest updates have given me barely any playtime before ads are played. I’ve played this games for a while now, but have found myself playing it less these days. I’ve found the exact same games in other apps with much less app breaks. Update: the update is great, barely any ads so the game is enjoyable

Ads are too constant and reset games. I love this game and find it oddly addicting even though it’s so simple. However, I have a difficult time playing it now because the ads are so constant. I used to only get an ad in between games which was fine. Now though, I get to move about 6-9 pieces before I get an “ad break”. Very annoying that I barely can make any moves. Half the time, my board and score are completely reset to zero when the ad ends. I don’t know if I will be able to stand playing this game unless those are removed. Very disappointing.

Perfect game. No making you feel bad you try to beat only your own game. No pressure leave in the middle to do something else and return to it when you get back. They remind you every once in a while to play because it a good brain exerciser but that is it. The only problem is the ad after each game but it only for 5 seconds. But you can’t find away to get rid of them. Watch your time, you will lose track of it.

Ads are now ridiculous. This game has been fun. The ad level used to be reasonable for the level of game it is. A simple banner at the bottom. That was great. Then they added a full screen ad after each loss/reset. Then two. Even then it was still tolerable. But now the banner ads are flashy, the full screen ads are annoying, and they have added yet another ad on the reset screen itself. The developer has gotten greedy and it’s too much. Overboard. The only reason it gets 2 stars is that it’s essentially a pretty good game. Otherwise it would be a ZERO. Please reduce the ads.

Okok. I'll stop for a minute and write A review. This game fits into my life like the pieces themselves. Any nook or cranny of time I have open, I play the game. Fits in perfectly. Wipes out anxiety, boredom. The multi-tasker that is always there for you requiring lots of thought if you want, almost no thought at all if you don't. My high score is over 10,000 but I don't know how to find the rankings and assume I'm a piker. Can someone tell me how to find how I rate? If we can all just stop playing for a minute...

Needs some work. When I first downloaded this app, all was good and it was addictive. I enjoyed playing even though it is cumbersome with the adds between games or when you pause & exit. I don’t know if there was an update but this is now the 3rd time I’ve had to delete the app (and loose my high scores) because it freezes when I try to open it. The adds at the bottom run fine, but the screen to play on never opens. Will try one more time, but if this happens again, I will look for other games.

Wooden Block Puzzle Game. This game is really challenging and the best part is it isn’t one of those games that you have to keep spending money.. After I’ve spent more than enough I end up deleting the game. This game makes you try to think ahead but even than the highest I’ve achieved is 1372 so I just have to keep trying to go higher. I doubt that there is a definite high score and it is so addicting that I have a very hard time getting any necessary things done.

Too many ads. I adore this game and have been playing almost daily for weeks. Unfortunately, because there is a commercial after every single game ( and some games only last a few seconds), I've had to turn off cellular data access for this app and also disconnect from my Wi-Fi l, while playing so I don't have to deal with so many ads. I have no problem watching a few adds because they help to you the games' developers earn many for working on them. Other than the commercials, it's a fun game that keeps my hands busy, while taking very little it my mind.

The ads are absolutely ridiculous. I have played this game for about 8 years now and I’ve never had such a problem with ads. Instead of putting them after each game the interrupt you after about 15 block placements. I play a lot of mobile games so I’m used to being spammed with ads but honestly this ruins the game. And instead of paying 2.99 one time to get rid of ads it’s now a subscription /: this is the only games I’ve ever review bc I’m so angry and disappointed. You can even place a block without an ad coming up. Super disappointed and I hope they change it back soon.

Ads have ruined the experience. I have played this for years as a stress buster. The increase in ads in recent weeks have made me play it less and less. It was annoying to have an ad every time I switched screens instead of just in between games. But today it is interrupting the game in the middle of play for more ads. You are losing a long time player. I won’t watch that many ads to play for free. And won’t pay that much for ad-free. Find a happy medium or you will be losing a lot of users.

I may be crazy!. So, I downloaded this app a month ago because I wanted a road trip app. Well it became more that that this app is so addicting I wrote this review. 1. I never ever do that 2. I will be driving down the road and I see how things go together like these blocks and then it makes me want to play this game then I'm playing it all day as I get a chance. I even play this game at work in between patients. But this game is super awesome and keeps my brain going: thank you!

Ads are INSANE. This app was so amazing and one of my most favorite ways to calm down, but the amount of ads has gotten INSANE. It used to be ONE relatively short ad in between games (which wasn’t too bad), then it was ONE LONG ad before you even got to play your first game accompanied by the same short ads in between (it was annoying, but not so much that I didn’t stop playing), and now you have ONE LONG AD in the beginning MORE LONG ADS in between each game, BUT ALSO you have LONG ADS every 15-30 seconds or every so many plays (I haven’t fully figured it out yet) inside of EACH GAME. It is impossible to play and even more impossible to enjoy. So bummed.

Warning!! This game is highly addictive!. I love this game!! My husband had it on his phone and said I should give it a try. Since I love any puzzle kind of game I figured why not? I had his phone for the rest of the evening!! Eventually downloading the app in my own phone. I have played this every day since and multiple times a day 🤫😊. The only complaint I have is that there is no option to pay to get rid of the ads. That’s only because I don’t want to wait to continue my play 😂

Addictive. I’ve downloaded and deleted this app so many times I’ve lost count. It’s a love hate relationship. And that’s just because I end up ‘relaxing’ with it so much I might lose track of time. No. Correct that. I definitely lose track of time. If you prefer staring at your phone and playing a mindless game to talking to people around you or reading a book you might enjoy this one.

Great for a Brain Girl. I am one of those nerds if you look at me you would never know I am one and I love this game . I although just like Tetris wish you could change the orientation of the blocks . It kinda seems unfair that I can't do that lol. Once you get so high they slam you with the big pieces more and more so is it truly random. But I lovee the game a true mind puzzle game . No tricks to get you to buy things after the first round. Nothing really spamy.

Deceptively Simple. I enjoy this game because although it is easy enough in concept for a child to enjoy playing, it challenges adults just as much. When I play, I am only competing against my own prior best score. And it is often amazing how quickly I lose! The game seems extremely simple until you find yourself blocking yourself into an impossible situation before scoring even five hundred points!

love. v addictive. less ads would be nice. so i would play it on my mom’s phone and then i finally just decided to download it on my own phone— well then a friend would watch me play it and contradict my moves so he finally downloaded it — then his sister downloaded it — then the 3rd friend out of our group felt left out and would watch us play it so she downloaded it too. now in our gc it’s an inside joke and we’ll text each other during class things like “geometry class? more like wood puzzle.” basically, i turned all of my friends onto this game. ur welcome wood puzzle. it’s v simple but also crazy addictive. i think it’s the og version of the game?? if it’s not it’s fine. i forgive u wood puzzle. i like this version better. howeverrrr,, the ads r v annoying. do love this game thoughhh🤠

Serenity. This game has changed my life and really given me such calmness if I’m stressed I play a couple of screens and immediately I’m better it is my go to for a relaxing time out . it is a challenge at times trying not to run out of moves! lol some how I lost a very high scored game and had to start over but that’s another challenge !!❤️💙💜🖤💚♥️👍🏽👋🏽🙏🏽👍🏽👍🏽keeps me out of trouble and now I’ve gotten my young grand children hooked as well 😃 9,7, 6 &2 3 yr olds!!

Sound on ads overrides/turns off other audio programs. So tired of ads with sound turning off other audio programs (podcasts) while playing the game. Plus, when the program sound has been turned off then it should turn off sound of ads. Understand in free mode that I can’t fast forward through the visual but sound should be regulated by user through settings. Example: Tried to play at night and an ad blasted in at the end of a hand and woke up my husband. Took me having to look for the speaker on the screen to mute, then back out of game to home screen to make sure sound was turned off, it was. Then went to play again, and it happened again! Each time it also turned off my podcast I was listening to so had to exit out of game, go to the podcast and restart, then back to the game and restart it only to have it happen again. Really. Painful in the middle of the night. Please fix this.

Do The Developers Care About Their Reviews?. Your high ratings and your income are about to drop dramatically if you don’t get rid of all the ads! This has been my favorite game on my phone for 3-4 years. I would’ve given it 4-5 stars like so many others clearly have. But today I’m giving it 1 star because “Ad Time” is popping up about every minute. After months of increasingly longer ads, and then reopening the app ads after just switching screens for a minute, this is the last straw. At least give users an option to pay to not see ads. You’re going to lose players and downloads.

Highly Addictive, BUT.... It is really hard to walk away from this game!!! My husband gets annoyed that I'm always playing on it. It's very addictive and challenging, and I love a great challenge!! The downside is that once you get to a point where you're stuck, you rarely get any pieces you need. It's like the game is working AGAINST you. At first, you think you're being challenged by the random pieces that are being spit out. Then, you get to a certain point in the game, and it decides that it's about time for you to lose. What??? I'm sorry, but that's not challenging. That's downright trickery on the developer's part.

Overheating iPhone 13. I’ve had this game on my iPhones for years. Loved the ability to remove ads forever and just play and zone out. The latest update from June, 2022 however is buggy and the game began overheating my battery. Playing for even 5 mins and I could feel my phone getting hot. I discovered this from trial and error restarts and finally uninstalled the game, played other games and had no battery problems. However when I reinstalled it I no longer had an ad free game. So if you uninstall and reinstall from the cloud you have to purchase ads free all over again? Hoping the issues can be fixed.

Five stars to one BACK to FIVE STARS. Enjoying very much, always a challenge, that was five stars. But now one star and game deleted. Update iPad ios12 I get a message that I am on a players board and I have never wanted to play on a public board. My information is private and I will miss this app, but no option was to not be public. My apologies, I had to do an iPad reset and it turned Game Center on. I have turned it off and once again I am playing privately. Sorry for the confusion.

Ads 😡. Like many of these recent reviews, I have played this game for years. This game got me through my divorce, when I was chain smoking, listening to true crime podcasts and playing this. Now years later, in a happy and healthy relationship, and a non smoker, I still enjoy playing this game to clear my mind. Recently the ads have gotten out of control. Lots of ads before you can even play a round, and lately “ad break”pops up where it interrupts your game play. I’m so bummed to delete this app. And the ads don’t work. I couldn’t name a single one of them and by principle, I wouldn’t support them anyway.

Love the game. Too many ads. Turn off volume on ads!!. I love playing the game but I don’t play it as much because there are two ads between every game and you have to watch both for so many seconds before you can exit out. Also, something that is very annoying is that I have the volume silenced under settings and the ads come on full blast. It makes me turn off the game and not even play it anymore. They need to fix that, because it’s annoying and it stops me from playing

update. If all you want to do is watch ads that this is the app for you. It actually used to be a halfway decent app and you could play the game without 9000 ads popping up. Whatever they did to ‘upgrade’, it is horrible. I literally timed the amount of game time you had between ads and it was between two minutes and three seconds in two minutes and 18 seconds. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! UPDATE they reduced the ads to a reasonable amount so I have updated my rating to reflect the change

Fun, fun, hours of mind engaging fun. This is a great game to keep your mind sharp by fitting the best placement for advancement of the blocks to make room for new ones. If your space fills up you loose. No in app purchases to frustrate you and cost you. No high speed choices needed; just careful timely thought out moves. Love this game! I can play for hours and learn how to get better with each game. I encourage you to play. Did I mention this is my favorite game right now?

Too many ads. I have been playing this game for a while and it is great. It’s relaxing yet challenging at times. The only reason it lost a star is that every time there is an update, more ads seem to appear. I understand the developers make their money this way but there is a limit one can stand. Not to mention some of the ads make it difficult to X out or have the double X out to get out of the add and back in the game. I would be happy to pay for an add free version as seriously this game is the best block game out there!

Taking a break. I’m taking a break from playing this game because there are now too many ads. I was understanding when a new ad popped up every time I went out of the game and came back in, but now that there are ads mid game play, I’m going to wait a month to see if the developers pick up on all the negative reviews they are about to receive and change the number of ads back to what it was. I’m only giving this game a 2-star because I used to love it. It would be one star with all the ads if it weren’t for that.

Too many ads now!!! Coding has been rigged!. I’ve had this game for a very long time and have played it almost daily. It appears that the programming has changed such that losses occur more frequently. This means users are required to see more advertising more often. And...the ads last longer and require double x’ing out to close them. I used to be able to play for hours before losing and now it’s hard to play for more than 20 minutes. I don’t think it’s my skill level that has changed. I’m about to call it quits on this if things don’t change soon. And yes, there will another review before I delete this one.

Played for years. I have played this game for several years. Have always loved it. Recently I paid for the no ads option. After a month or two, it slowed down. And I am wondering…is this because you are collecting data? The game is great when it works. It’s become very jerky…hard to control. Not sure what the problem would be.

Annoying Ads and sounds!. Love this addictive game, but HATE the annoying ads and loud sounds that can’t be turned off completely! How can people play these games in doctors offices, or other places where other people are, when the sounds are blasting? The developer finally responded and said I could pay a monthly of annual fee to get no ads! That is ridiculous, when. There are so many other games that just charge a few bucks to upgrade to no ads version. Certainly never a recurring charge!
