I can hear it. Living in northeast and north Portland, lots to hear, loving New York, Brooklyn, it makes my day exciting as my mind travels and as I listen. Don't have to be on CNN all day. Your scanner is my favorite. This old lady loves it. Today Delta Park is the focus. Thank you.

Overrun with full screen ads every 2 minutes.. Awful!

Awesome app. I enjoy this app because if something is going on with my neighborhood. Or if they is a medical call for one of my neighbors. It helps me so I can get over there and check on them.

Doesn’t work on my phone won’t give $15 refund. Downloaded Jordan Edwards scanner and through an ad to get audio recordings of incident I was led to radio reference to make an account and upgrade to $15 subscription for 180 days of premium. It doesn’t work and has ads. So I downloaded this app and logged in with my “premium” subscription info and it does t work. I asked for a refund and they won’t give my money back. Thanks. A bunch.

Disappointed. I researched and found that this was supposed to be the “best” police scanner app for iOS. Well not in two (2) experiences with it. For $40 year/$10 month, I expect the app to work consistently. Unfortunately this app did not work well either time. I gave it two (2) stars because when it did work, the quality was great. I hate that I had to cancel my subscription again and it will be for the last time.

Overloaded with adds. If you love spam, go ahead and download. While it’s interesting listening to police calls the advertising in this app took over my phone about five times in three minutes where I had to try to figure out what part of the screen to touch to stop it. After that I closed the app and deleted it as quickly as I could. (also even though the app is free this app keeps asking for you to sign into iTunes - don’t do it)!

How much I enjoy listening to all of the different kind of calls. I really enjoy hearing all of the different call and all of the different kind of bad calls. 😎😁😎👍

Sound. The volume on the scanner end needs turned up my volume and the volume on this app is at the max and barely can hear it even holding it to my ear.

Favorites. When you save the channel to favorites, and you get off of the scanner and turn it off and then come back to it later and turn it back on and press play in favorites. It wasn’t it doesn’t play favorites. It doesn’t do nothing. You have to go back and find it every time through the channel I don’t think it’s worth $40 a year if I could give zero stars

Scanner that works!. Most apps don’t do as they say w out you having to buy this or that, but this scanner app actually works!! There is no catch, no ads every 30 seconds, and you can listen to any county in any state. I’m amazed! Well done!

I have a question..... This app is so good.... but there is one odd thing that i only knew it just now. This app name is Police Scanner + but after downloading the app, it shows scanner+. I had the old one called Police scanner. It shows the same “ Police Scanner”. Am I being hacked or what is this??

Sometimes works sometimes doesn’t. Sometimes the words are clear and I can understand what people are saying. Sometimes it’s garbled and I cannot make out what is being said. I tried another scanner that’s online versus this app and it’s clear to hear the words. This tells me the app has issues.

Alaska. Why is there no police or fire scanner in Alaska where I live only the airport and it not the same bc I wanna know what going on bc we have 17 cops out and it did not say anything about they

Police officers on duty. This is a good one. I listen to kind of keep an ear out for some areas . 😊 anyway, if you’d like to listen to an app that keeps you a bit more aware this is good. Also good for watching areas for your parents grandparents etc, people you care for 😊 there are good officers 😎 trust me. I know this from work and personal life as well.

Feedback. This app would be significantly better if it came free with no ads. The ads interrupt my broadcast constantly and it gets annoying fast.

Great app, one problem. I have used this app for several weeks. My scanning channel did go dead. I found out volunteers do the scanning, and one stopped. But, after a week or so they were back. One very annoying problem, every time I launch the app I am asked for my Apple ID password, every time. I thought it was an upgrade to my Apple iPhone 8 Plus but was not the case. Deleted and reinstalled app no change. I even changed my password, no luck. Hope this bug is fixed quickly.

My ability to help others. I’m a retired firefighter and ambulance member knowing what’s going on in my area is important as I would be able to help others close to me. This app gives me the ability to help others quickly then back off when others arrive, the voices are clearly heard so information is understood

Decent app marred by a ton of ads. I’ve had a few scanner apps on my phone for a while now and with everything going on with the protesting around the country I wanted to listen again. I tried this as it’s the first one I found on my phone. Immediately greeted with an add without an x to close it. Waited about 2 minutes and it never popped up. When it does work it’s okay but switching channels gives similar ads and ruins the experience. 5-0 radio is much better. They have ads but they’re at the bottom and unobtrusive. Deleted this app and sticking with 5-0 radio.

Beware - No way to cancel auto subscription. I downloaded this app to check it out with the trial. And I was going to cancel to make sure I didn’t start getting billed $4.99 a month. It’s been two months now they’ve charged me and there is no way to cancel the subscription not through the Apple ID not through the site not through the app it’s a scam!

Andrew Campbell’s review. I think it’s a wonderful app. Not many adds but could cut down a little. But very clear voices any county state you need! And will play when you home out your phone or lock it very great.

It’s really a great app to know what’s going on in law enforcement!. Excellent just excellent! I was searching for a app that would tell me what’s happens in the law enforcement radio and other emergency radio! I listen to the law and fire and ems radio that is near me and it tells me what is going on over there! I recommend people to use this app it will really help! Just one thing that you can do better in this app is add more country police fire and ems radios, it would make this app much better! Thank you for making this app!

Constant Ads. When you’re trying to load a scanner channel, it plays long, loud advertising that last 1-3 minutes. You’ll definitely miss the radio traffic for things occurring around you.

Use when traveling. I use this app when I’m traveling- just to get a vibe. I’ve used as a paranoid mom- to scan the cities my boys lived in- went to college etc. I know- it maybe a little Wierd- but moms worry!

Love it!!!!. I love this app. My dad is a cop and I didn’t rly understand like what he did but I now know most of the cop codes and now I understand what he does better. I highly recommend this app is awesome!!!!

It’s good but…….. While the scanner itself is good and I have char no real problems with it, however I take issue with the forced watching of a game advertisement that takes over your phone and forces you to completely watch the advertising and then spend up to five minutes trying to close out the forced interaction game commercial. Seriously if the developers of this app want a subscription only then I strongly suggest that they get rid of the free version ( well… not free ) because I don’t know about anyone else but advertising games that strongly encourage you and even force you to make in app purchases, marks the developer of this app as completely shady, sketchy and flat out dodgy.

Great App. I’ve had the app for about 3 years and it has worked fabulously. I’m in NJ and was looking for a scanner like I used in the 70’s. But this is better. I started listening when there were fires in New South Whales Australia. But then protests in the summer of 2020 really came to life in real time. Global reach and quality audio. Highly recommend.

so cool. As a firefighter in training, I love using this app. It’s easy to use and has great quality!! Some people leave reviews complaining about the ads, but I personally don’t think there is an over abundance of them, and even when one does come up it is only 3 seconds before you can skip it. It’s worth it because the app is free to use. Aaaand the apps only play when you open the app. So if you listen to the scanner in the background like most people do, there’s no issue.

Love it. I accidentally hit “no” when a box popped up asking if I love the app. I definitely do love it though. I’m currently in school for Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement, so anything Police related, I geek out over it! I purposely have it running in the background almost all day. This has been one of the better police scanner apps that I’ve found. Some people say the adds are really annoying but I honestly haven’t had an issue with them and I typically get REALLY annoyed with adds on apps. If you’re looking for a good Police scanner app, this is it. Good luck.

Beware. Impossible to contact to stop subscription. Buyer beware. Slipping in a five dollar a month recurring “subscription” may not seem like much but when you attempt to cancel you can’t get in touch with these guys. Someone somewhere is hauling in $60 per year from who knows how many people. Gave to go through PayPal to cancel this auto recurring payment. App is mediocre at best with limited cities available. Avoid.

The best free police scanner. There was something going down in my town so I wanted to download a police scanner I had downloaded this one and one that I paid money for the one I bought doesn’t work at all and this one works perfect.

Standard listening and Obsevation.. This is a great way to support Law enforcement. I’m not as good as the next review I’m better. I’m educational and informal. This app has ways to communicate. Great start!

This App Is a Scam. Free 3 day trial offer is a trap. I clicked to see where the 3 day trial offer would take me, planning to cancel my interest if the app asked for a credit card or other payment. The app evidently charged my account without so much as an opportunity to stop the process. I will work on getting it undone but thought you might want to know. Would give app zero stars if it was possible.

Good app Ad problem sometimes. Sometimes When I use the app I get these double ads where the stream isn’t playing so I press play and it goes to another ad. Anytime I navigate somewhere. Also it Ashley’s asks for my iCloud account password. Good app otherwise

Notifications. It would be 5 stars except there is no way that I can see of getting notifications of events that are happening like some of the others. Otherwise I like it.

Scanner App Take Away. In today’s world the scanner app is nearly a must have for situational awareness and real-time info to help keep your family safe. Before downloading and listening to the app, I was unaware of the criminal activities in what used to be a “Mayberry like” area to live!

Protocol for account issue not followed whatsoever.. Not following protocol concerning my accountMy device was stolen on 18 JuneI’m not sure if they’re going to refund the money I requested a refund because they charged have never been made due to the fact that my phone had been stolen reported stolen and I got an email confirmation that those payments were not going to be taken from my account so I am hoping they do the right thing and issue a refund they canceled it but I don’t see the refund this is my problem I received messages that my account would not be able to have a charges including crude on it and what happened it appears is that they were supposed to freeze my Apple Pay and all debit cards that are linked but when I subscription came through for 490. My Phone was supposed to be shut off I reported it stolen and they were his payments for not going to be made with my card until I was able to get a resolution I got my new phone in for five days later and here is a charge for the 490. I requested a refund. It’s a mystery my account was looked at. My subscription was cancelled but I have yet to be issued the refund pause this cost me addition consequences. We first webull deposit was rejected due to the error which has lasting effects personally. I’m not very happy

Keeps charging me. This app will run free trials from time to time. And I only ever sign up (and immediately same time go cancel the subscription) to see if anyone is in the chat that may have info on a breaking story I’m listening to. For starters, each chat comment is days/WEEKS apart. Do not pay for the chat feature. It’s useless. No one is in there. Ever. But besides that, even tho I cancel, I am charged EVERY single time even tho I cancel the subscription immediately before the trial runs out. I have had to get a refund like 3-4x. I doubt they’ll refund me this time. Even tho I recorded the screen offering a trial and recorded me canceling same day. Other than that, it’s a great app. But don’t take my money under pretense of free trials. That’s dirty.

Too many ads!. So, this is a great app! I found out of a robbery down the street and a car crash on my way to school, but there are just too many ads. Whenever the app closes, and I get back on, a sign in thing pops up, and once I close that, an ad comes up and plays over the radio. Then I miss an important part of the story and I do something else. Could you fix this? Thank you!

Turnpikes and tailpipes. Their we were… knew deep in uncle Tommy’s cabin. It was hotter than that Olympic gold medal winner, the one who got a sex change. Sirens were everywhere lights flashing techno music loud and glow sticks being thrown around like night flares. My sidekick keestered the raidio and we had no communication from any direction. The smart one of our party piped out her 1992 edition cell phone and downloaded this app. It saved the day, and i wouldn’t use any other scanner if someone paid me to. - Ricky Martin

No sound. I just paid for the subscription for this thinking that might fix the sound. It did not. I still have no sound, so this is looking like a waste of money. If they can fix this problem then the app is really cool and works good. I guess we will see how this turned out. I’ll wrote back later and let everyone know how they handle problems and if they are going to fix them

Unfortunately my local PD encrypted all information pertaining to my actual location so I hope they cancel and refund my subscription I was just billed for because I used the trial once then completely forgot about it. Can’t cancel trial. I started a 3 day trial and now that my trial is almost up, I can’t find anywhere on the app where to cancel the trial. I’ve sent an email with of course no response! For some reason, I’m pretty sure that my email will be answered once it’s too late and they already billed me for a membership that I’ve been trying to cancel for a day and a half! Very disappointed. Very unprofessional.

Don’t recommend. I would not recommend any subscriptions from this developer. I was charged for a subscription that I didn’t sign up for nor do I have any interest in signing up for and the company is refusing to issue a refund.

Save your money. For 4.99 you will get the same exact scanner feeds as the free one. Only good thing was no more advertisements. Chat keeps crashing too. Never been able to use it. It’s worth .99 MAYBE but not 4.99. Too expensive when it doesn’t work. Don’t make the same mistake I did

Don’t waste your time!. There were absolutely no settings or options, Just a start and stop scanner. While scanning if it locates more than one all of those will be standing at the exact same time talking over one another and you cannot hear a thing! I am deleting this app!

Very good app. Have no complaints at all it is the first time I used this and it a lot better than the scanner app

Missing Feeds. App says if you pay then you’ll get access to more feeds, but nowhere does it list which additional feeds you’ll get. I’m not going to sink money into something if I’m not even sure whether I’ll finally be able to hear my local PD on it or not.

App scam. These scammers charged me a 1 year subscription automatically instead of one month for trying their app out and they’re email won’t allow you to contact them, it’s just a button on the app that doesn’t work . I will be disputing this.

A user no more. App was ok as far as scanners go, but ad popped up and could not get it to close and now stuck with an unknown virus scanner on my phone and now when I open the scanner my screen turns white. Moving in to another scanner done with this one

The importance of radio. Using this app taught me one thing: man was meant to use radio for terrestrial operations. It better than satellite or digital for many reasons. On iPhone, it’s both.

Took my money. I agreed to do a free trial for a few days the same night i became aware that the station wasn’t actually reporting the correct city although listed as such so I cancelled it with in an hour they changed my card days later and there is no contact information beware don’t patronize

1 trial; 4.99 after. Found this app after putting “free police scanner” in my search. It came up; I downloaded. THEN comes the pop up that says one week free and 4.99 a month after that. I am pretty new to the Apple world and am not pleased with the App Store. At least Google Play Store listed prices up front. SMH. Shame on you, Apple!
