Poorly Designed App. Most apps, even if poorly designed, improve somewhat with subsequent updates. Not so wth the Sole Fitness App. When I first got this app, I was able to sync basic workout info (distance, time and pace) from my Sole treadmill to my Fitbit account. Now, it no longer gives you the option to share to Fitbit or other fitness apps. This app is pretty much useless now.

Worst of the worst. This is one of the worst applications I have ever used. Nearly every single function does not work properly. It does not sync with my treadmill, I have issues updating the information on the application, and I also have a lot of trouble syncing it with Apple health or my fitness pal, which generally play really well with other health and fitness applications. In addition, I hate how it forces you into landscape mode. I prefer using my phone in portrait and almost every other application allows you to do either or, but not this one! Of course why would they offer even a single ounce of convenience in this piece of garbage application.

Successful HealthKit workaround. App itself isn’t very good as other reviews have stated. I have found a workaround to get data to apple health. Use both this app and the Sole+ app. This app gets the data from the treadmill to your profile and the Sole+ app gets it from your profile to HealthKit. You need to mess with settings to get it to not double count. Far from perfect. Hope this helps.

Worst App I’ve Used Functionally. This app is horrible, the interface is completely NOT user friendly. The treadmill requires the app to do just about anything beyond a basic manual workout and getting your input correct on here is terrible AT BEST. Sole should be ashamed they hired an app programmer with the skills of a pre-schooler to design this for them. One star only because that’s the lowest score you can give.

needs instruction manual. I love my sole elliptical but have been trying to figure out this app for over a year. Every now and then i lean about a feature by reading these reviews. Please write a user manual for the app - include it under the i. information on how to set up and use the app and it’s features. such as how to connect to fit bit and how to automatically connect when you work out.

Why won’t developer fix issues?. I have written reviews before and even contacted Sole directly. I continue to ask why the Sole apps were not developed to transfer workout data TO health apps such as My Fitness Pal or Apple Health. The only real response I got was from Sole saying the app does not transfer data from Sole to Garmin but Garmin data can be transferred to Sole. Not sure what good that does? So I continue to manually enter info from my treadmill into the health apps. Maybe the developer should fix that in an update. Of course it would be especially nice if Sole had 1 app instead of 2.

Won’t Connect. I have tried countless times to get this app to connect to my Sole SB900 bike. It shows the device name when I click the link icon, but when I select it and hit Connect it either fails with a message telling me to download Sole+ (which doesn’t work with the bike because it has no LCD display), or just silently fails after a short loading animation.

I like that it logs, but has issues. The good... The logging works great, and I like the dashboard. The bad.... substantial issues: The App only works in landscape mode. On iPhone 11 the edit profile page has no descriptions of the items and reconverts imperial to metric on save (only showing metric) At last usage the calorie counts were WAY off in manual mode, it looked like it was recording double the calories burned. I suspect someone goofed metric and imperial and is recording my weight in pounds as the same number in kilograms. Selecting levels in the custom workout mode is just confusing as there is no indication of speed. Worse, it locks the treadmill to a minimum and a maximum, so if you get it wrong, you have to trial and error to get it right. App doesn’t seem to export / share any data with Garmin Connect. No error, just nothing happens. The way it syncs to a live workout is just a bit odd, guessing it’s a safety feature, but it’s a back and forth of press start, press press confirm and repeat. I went to fast on pressing start/confirm once and I think it screwed up the workout. Might have been unrelated. I am giving it 2 stars as I do use it, but this really fees incomplete / unfinished.

Astonishingly poor HealthKit support. I write this more to solicit activity from the developers: I purchased a Sole machine for two reasons: tank-like construction and syncing with HealthKit. The former seems to be true, but the latter... 1. Unlike, say, the LifeFitness app, this app does not sync with HealthKit automatically. As in, after each exercise I have to go find the exercise on the calendar, tap the share button, and then tap the HealthKit button. 2. Assuming it appears, which it does not always 3. However, the HealthKit button is typically (and has been for days despite the recent update) unresponsive. I can tweet, but I can’t sync with HealthKit. 4. The one time I _was_ able to sync with HealthKit, the only data Sole provided was that exercise occurred. Nothing about heart rate or steps or anything. This is mind boggling. The rest of the hiccups and infelicities of the app I don’t mind—its lack of portrait mode, etc.—but seriously in 2019 good HealthKit integration is a must. I hope sole updates the HealthKit support.

Works Fine for me!. I downloaded it, created an account, and started using it. No problems. Not sure why so many others have a problem - maybe an earlier version of the app or the equipment? Gonna try Sole+ next.

Worst fitness link app I have EVER seen!. Complete and total garbage. I have an F80 treadmill. This app barely connects to the treadmill but completely shuts off the buttons to the treadmill once connected. I guess that would be ok if you could actually control the treadmill from the app but you can’t. The Garmin Connect feature just flat out doesn’t work. This app is essentially useless unless the screen on your treadmill doesn’t work. Do not buy this treadmill if you want to connect to any fitness apps

Worked ok and then.... First of all, if you have the app opened and connected, the machine won’t work by using the hardware buttons. So if you used it with the app, got in the shower, the next person using it would have to find you and ask you to disconnect. Then it just started randomly adding everyone’s workout onto the my user profile so now I have to accurate count of what I actually did myself. I wish it supported multiple users, sent data to apple health, and had better UI.

Stopped sending data after updated. This was working well enough until the most recent update. Now it is recording data but no longer syncing with the health app. I tried to manually send the data and although health is an option it does nothing when I press it.

Love the treadmill hate the app. I bought a sole 80 and love the machine!! The app os absolutely horrible. If you link it to the machine, you can no longer program the machine from the panel only the app. The problem is that the app does not allow you to set up workouts like you can on the panel. So the app limits the treadmills capability!! The other is that the treadmill only syncs with this app!! As much as I love the treadmill, and I am no expert; If you are looking for a treadmill to sync to your phone and track workouts, find another one.

Not as awful as the other reviews. In general the app does a good job displaying the workout data, and a good job recording it. It is also a good way to select and set up the workout parameters. And I have not had any stability issues on my iPad. There are a few places I would like improvement: 1) you cannot adjust the incline when designing a custom workout 2) the app seems unable to save a user defined workout making the entire process of having 2 user slots pointless and a pain to even bother. If they figured that out I would say the app was even better than the machine itself. My machine is the sole E25 v2

No issues. This apps works perfectly fine for me. I’m actually impressed of how seamlessly it links up with my F63. It doesn’t even have a delay between the times shown on the actual screen of my F63 and my phone. I think there are some great features with this app. Could there be more? Sure, but I still don’t have any complaints for the app itself as of now.

Can’t login after first day. I loved this app, but after the first day it doesn’t let me login. The phone number on their site only gets dishonest sales pitches. It is a good app but it seems it is set up only to gather phone numbers for spam purposes. There seems to be no way to get help with the app, like why sign in information is rejected nor how to fix it. Sole has a great reputation but this app is destroying it.

Terrible. Landscape mode only. Not intuitive. It connects to the treadmill and basically displays what is on the screen already. I connected it to my Garmin account expecting it to upload my workout. Nope. I click synchronize. Nope. Nothing. I was hoping this app would work to keep track of my treadmill activities on my Garmin and Strava accounts, but this needs a lot of work.

Does exactly what it’s supposed to, and no more.. For me, the app connects first time, every time. Storing the data to MapMyFitness was a little confusing at first. Tech support got me the answer. You have to select the workout from the list, not from the calendar Even if you drill down to the individual workout on the calendar, it won’t work. It has to be from the list. I run the app on my iPad, so landscape only is no issue, though I would agree it’s a bad (lack of) feature. The display shows slightly different info than the display on my elliptical, and you have a few screens to select from. Plus it adds touch. The app does what it’s supposed to do. It doesn’t have a lot of features, but it’s not meant to.

Why Bother. This app makes the machines rank at the lowest in exercise equipment. The Sole brand is a great product that I would advise anyone to purchase. The machines and customer service are rock solid but this app has to go. After 3 hours and two phone call to customer service, I finally was able to register the app and connect it to my Elliptical machine. It still was limited in what was displayed and inaccurate with what the machine displayed. Either get rid of the app or spend more time in development on getting its features to work. Why bother with frustrating your clients on trying to register the equipment and monitor your progress.

Glimmer of hope squashed. It has potential. But right now, it’s not worth using. The only benefit i see today is that my calories are based on my weight and height i enter into the app. If i just jump on and go, Sole doesn’t ask for my weight and height so the calories are off. Why is that so hard to ask for each workout including just pushing start?

SOLE F63 treadmill Bluetooth works!. I had no problem syncing to our F63 SOLE treadmill. It was easy to connect using Facebook sign in. I selected a fat burning work within the app and it started on the treadmill. Simple and clear instructions. Calendar day, week, month, year, and total to date exercise data is saved and app accessible. I’m very pleased!

Terrible. What exactly do I dislike about the app? Once I open it I cannot close it. The only way I can is to turn off my iPhone X completely and restart it. It will only load in landscape. It does not connect to any of my Apple products in spite of that being advertised. I called and was actually told that they were trying to figure out how to do it. Figure it out first - then make the claim. I like the treadmill but I had paid extra to get one with iOS connectivity. That claim was fraudulent. And the app adds zero to the experience - in fact much less than zero. Would I buy the brand again? Probably not because of the above issues. Update: I can’t believe they haven’t fixed this yet! Get a couple of high school kids and they could do a much better job of designing a functional app (maybe even younger kids)!

Milage X10?. The app seems to be working ok. I want to be able to keep track of my daily workouts, but the milage recorded is multiplied by 10. I tried going to app support here in the app store but it just takes me to the parent company website and there is no app support to be found. Can you fix this?

Terrible App. This is one of the worst apps I have ever encountered, so much that I feel compelled to write this review. While I’ve had some fairly large problems with the treadmill (squeaking, rattling, random slowdown), it has been stable but the app just makes the experience even worse. I was hoping for a good integration to share health data with some of my other apps but that doesn’t work. The app itself doesn’t seamlessly sync with the treadmill. Additionally, when it would connect, you get limited views and workouts similar to the display panel on the treadmill itself. This offers no insights, only letting you control very minimal aspects of the workout. I see no point in even using the app. The connection, once made via Bluetooth would allow you to play music through the pathetic speakers provided by the Sole treadmill (F85). Unfortunately you can’t hear anything against the noise of the treadmill. Perhaps the mode aberrant issue is when connecting the app, the treadmill seems to work at half speed. So says your running at 7.5mph but in actuality it slows to a fast walk -4mph. Finally, the treadmill doesn’t share data with any other app, only this one which locks you into using approximations. Very-very disappointing. Since clearly the company doesn’t show any care for its customers through proper investment, i would not recommend this app nor the equipment that pairs with it.

Solid App. This app works fine. You do have to go through a particular order to get it to sync with your machine or else it doesn’t work. It syncs well with my Garmin chest strap. It keeps a record of your workouts and that’s all I need.

Ugh! What a waste!. Spent $1600 on the Sole F80 with the key reasoning it had Bluetooth integration and and app for tracking our progress. Yes, the app works with iPhone, but it doesn’t integrate to Health or work with the Apple Watch. The 1980’s style LCD display is so rudimentary they should be embarrassed and as others have commented, the speakers belong on a child’s $20 play toy, not an expensive piece of exercise equipment. Top that off with HORRIFIC customer service. The treadmill is almost silent when running, until you step in the deck where the noise is ridiculous. The unit was supposed to be lubricated from the factory, clearly not. After applying a coat of silicone it’s quieter, but still louder than others I’ve used in hotel gyms. I recommend neither the app or the treadmill. This one may be going back.

Request for more flexibility. It would be nice if the sole app would allow the user to configure intervals more easily with less restriction on the treadmills If the sole app would prompt the user an interval for run time and a interval for walk time with an option to repeat any number of times that would be useful. For example to create a beginner interval: Enter run interval time: 00:15 (15 second run interval) Enter walk interval time: 00:45 (45 second walk interval) Repeat number of run/wal intervals: 029 (creating 29 paired run intervals of 15s with 45s walk intervals)

Simple program but does send workout to Apple health app. Pros: excellent treadmill program and simple app design to get workout’s completed. Allows users to enter personal information to have better workouts. Cons: app does not send workout info to your apple Health. So when it comes to tracking you have to take unnecessary time to enter it in manually. Overall the program need to integrate with apple fitness and health apps to better personalize and aid fitness goals.

Horrible.. This app barely enables a mere remote view of your workout. There is no way to sync workouts to your MapMyRun app, or to Apple. The horizontal-only view is not ideal and honestly is a total waste of space in your device. Folks need to come up with a real app that lets you program your workout, sync it with real workout apps and it should also let you switch to other apps like your music without disconnecting.

Updated Review. Thankfully the developer FINALLY added Apple Health synching capabilities however if you have the app paired up with the elliptical and you are inactive for more than a few minutes after manually PAUSING your workout it completely deletes your workout and doesn’t even save your progress which is stupid. Also, you can only sync workout durations to Apple Health and not calories. Include the ability to sync calories!!

Futile and worthless. The sole reason (see what I did there?) this App should exist is to move workout data to commonly used tracking apps. This app makes moving the data exceedingly difficult with a single obscure “happy path” to make it work (Caledar>list view>share button>pick your app). When you FINALLY figure out how to move the data all that happens is it tells the app of your choice that a workout occurred and for how long. No steps, no calories, no distance, no heart monitor data. As someone who makes a living in tech, this App is offensive to both users and developers. Everyone involved with this should feel shame. Sole’s app developer failed to recognize the issue they needed to solve and accordingly Sole has failed at respecting their users. It stinks, it’s putrid, and it fails miserably at the one thing it should do.

Calories shown is not correct. When you use your treadmill without connecting through this app the calorie displayed is different than the calories displayed when you connect your treadmill with this app. Example:When I run on Sole 63 by connecting through the this app at end of 45 mins it shows me that I burned almost 781 calories. When I run without connecting through this apps then the calorie display shows me 390. I don’t understand the difference here .

New sole f80 user. It worked for me with iOS 14.4. I’m a new Sole F80 owner and was a little worried at the reviews. But so far the app has worked for me on my iPhone running iOS 14.4. (1) make sure workouts are set to transfer. Go go settings / privacy. / Sole - check allow Sole to write workout data (2) after doing a sole fitness workout. Click calendar in the sole app, then List, and then view one of your workouts. In the upper right there is a send button next to the “En” (English). Click that and you’ll get the option to transfer to Apple health and other apps. The Sole app correctly transferred the workout as “other” with time, distance, and heart rate (I have a Apple Watch which is where it may have gotten the heart rate ). Calories are shown as 0 though. I also recorded the workout using Apple Fitness on my Watch. This captured time, distance, heart rate, cadence, average pace and calories. The watch is estimating my distance and is off by 11%. So I need to calibrate that (it’s on the Apple website). I’ll continue to use both and eventually settle on one or the other so I don’t double-count the workout. An enhancement would be to classify it as an “indoor run”.

Never Works. And I mean never. When I first got my Sole F80, the app connected with the treadmill, then disconnected itself and never connected again. I emailed Sole, but all they could advise was to unplug the treadmill and start over. Did that. Didn’t help. I’ve deleted the app, reinstalled it, deleted and reinstalled it after an update, tried to connect it to every compatible device I own—nothing. It reads them, but refuses to connect. It won’t even read the treadmill the app was written for, so what exactly is the point of having a Bluetooth compatible machine? This app is one big fail. I love the treadmill otherwise, but do not buy a Sole machine because it has Bluetooth, because the app doesn’t work. Ever.

Review of reviews:. To address all the complaints, realize most are old reviews. Also, be able to tell the unrealistic rating system to a functional app that works very well with my sole E25. 1. The app connects easily to the elliptical every time. 2. The app tracks more info than the panel shows including rpm and graphs. 3. The app is simple to use with a lot of areas to cover to track your progress. - I get no errors, no disconnects, no loss of exercise data, no issues after near ten uses. I use the heart rate monitor along with the app and play Bluetooth music all seemly through the device and even FaceTimed my gf while riding. So as far as I am concerned that if there are legitimate complaints I’d like to see their constructive criticism vs angry at the world review. App works as described. (((Request))) I would love if they fleshed out the graphs to track independent data and entire data especially heart rate based on time and dates with ability to see more specific progress. Reason for it is my average heart rate is not my min and max nor my target heart rate data. As a therapist there is a tremendous amount of unused potential in the graphs. Hope you continue to grow this app as I am an everyday user.

Does what it needs to do nothing more. The sole fitness equipment is fantastic. I just purchased an elliptical. It is built so well that’s it could survive a nuclear strike. The app, however, is nothing special. It does link to the machine via BT, which is good. Also tracks exercise on a rudimentary level. However, when you realize what can be done with a great app (peloton and Nordic track), it really seems like Sole is missing an opportunity to really leap to the front of the pack.

Worst app on the planet. It does not save workouts in the calendar as stated, does not sync with Apple Watch/iPhone, or the Health app. And it does not sync with the apps it claims to sync with. When you click on the app to share (Facebook, Safari, Mail) it just opens the app with zero data transferred. I bought a Polar HRM to see if that could sync and bridge the gap to my Health app, and it will sync to the app but not with the correct data, like mileage. The Polar HRM says zero miles ran, even though the Sole treadmill read my heart rate from Polar, the information did not go back to Polar. I want to track ACCURATE health data in one place and this Sole app makes that impossible. You can turn on the treadmill with the app, but pushing the big green button on the machine in front of you is easier. I love the treadmill but this app is a joke. And after all of these terrible reviews, they still haven’t fixed it.

Worked The First Time. Just got a Sole E25 elliptical and was not looking forward to loud beeping my way through height, weight and all the other inputs to get a program going. So I downloaded this program and in the first try it connected and sync’d which allowed me to get right into my workout. So far, so good. I’m fine with landscape mode for the workout but would like to review data in portrait mode. I will post an update in a month.

Limited functionality. It’s bad enough that the actual Sole treadmills don’t show distance to two decimal places (can’t do 1/4 repeats or accurate 5k times without switching the display to metric every time) but there really isn’t an excuse for not giving the option on the app. I’ve given up getting a firmware update for the treadmill monitor but it would be nice to at least have this function on the app.

Disappointing and useless. It’s baffling to me that a company that makes such a good treadmill can be proud of such a garbage app. This app is worse than useless: it actively impedes your training. It’s really hard to track my training properly when the app routinely just wipes all data without warning midway through a workout. I don’t care about smart trainers or custom workouts or coaches. I’m fine changing speed and slope manually. All I want is to record my workout with heart rate and be able to export it to TrainingPeaks. It’s 2021. This should not be a difficult request for a $2000+ machine.

Decent but needs work. The app is nice but lacks crucial features. 1) no where on the treadmill or the app can we see the 3rd digit when running. Any avid runner needs to see the second decimal place (hundredth of a mile). For example, 5.45 miles.... yours will only show 5.4 and 5.5 and 5.6 etc. I called customer support and they said they are tired of asking without success. Just add the third digit and your customers would be so happy. 2) It would be nice to see the display replicated on the treadmill screen. I have a beautiful screen on my treadmill and this teeny app with more data on my phone seems backwards.

The worst. Hate the tread and the app won’t connect. Where is customer service? I look at the tread and think “why would they not include a 6 mph button?” And “why don’t they have tenths increments”. Yeah I knew it when I bought it and thought I would be ok without those, but frankly now I’m wondering what the engineers were thinking? Do they actually run? The app completely pisses me off. My husband has connectivity but I don’t. Why why why?!? So unhappy.

Worst software but an excellent treadmill. As far as the treadmill itself, one of the best and sturdiest on the market in a friendly budget price point…but the app is a dumpster fire!! Please offer some college students some $$ and they will improve it 10-fold. Can’t connect to my F-85 and Jerod wanting me to use the other Sole+ app which is also a mess! For a professional fitness company, excellence is in the product but not the software!

Meh.. It does indeed only have a landscape mode. I’m also having the problem that other reviews mention—the treadmill goes at about half the suggested program speed when being controlled by the app, which can be crazy slow (0.9mph, anyone?). App shows the exact same info as the treadmill screen, so that’s pretty pointless. I stopped using it because of the speed problem so I don’t know if it communicates with the Health app, but I’d rather just put manual workouts into Strava. The treadmill is supposed to be ~premium~ so it’s not great to have an app that I don’t want to use as its only option, but whatever.

Works for me. So far, the app has been working just fine. No problem connecting to the machine (E25). Big bright display that gives me three viewing options. I really like it! The one thing I can’t figure out is how to modify a user profile after it’s been created. I made my first profile when I received the machine. Incline 1 and resistance 1. I’m wanting to modify those setting now but can’t seem to find a way. I know I could create a new user but am afraid I will loose all previous data (workouts)!

Very disappointing. My wife just got an E35 elliptical and she was very excited that it had the Bluetooth connectivity and the ability to share with mapmyrun and other apps. The problem is that the Sole app doesn’t have that ability and I noticed that it never asks permission to access the HealthKit app or any other apps when it installs. This is a major flaw and false advertising. Please correct this and add the ability to access the other fitness apps.

Should be embarrassed. My Sole elliptical is amazing, the app to track my workouts is ridiculous in its awfulness. How can you make such a great product and not be able to make an easy to use app for tracking??? There’s no way to keep track of what you’re doing unless you’ll like to take a picture of your screen every day or use paper and pencil ….

Total garbage app and that’s an insult to garbage.. Agree with all other negative reviews. This Sole app is the biggest piece of trash app I’ve ever downloaded. And this is after many deletions and reinstalls, plus Sole tech support “assistance.” It would not surprise me if this app developer is just using this app as a ruse to access your personal data. I can’t otherwise imagine a reputable company offering this app to the public.

UI and functions are lacking. Dear SOLE, Please update your software. Your treadmill is great, but the app provides almost no functionality at all. There is so much potential in the connectivity between the treadmill and a device, and all it really does is show the same view as the treadmill and (sort of) show history in a non-user-friendly way. Thanks for your consideration.

Not connecting. The sole app won’t connect to Garmin despite it being an option. The heart rate monitor won’t connect to anything despite changing the batteries. I don’t have the option to see what other apps I can use along side the sole fitness app. Disappointing for a newbie

App crashes. This app has never been robust and I had very few successful sessions where my info was saved or recorded to HealthKit. Since the last two versions it just crashes! After connecting, threadmill beeps and as soon as I entered time and sync, it crashes.

Disappointing. I love our Sole Fitness treadmill but both the firmware on the treadmill and this app are very disappointing. They could be fantastic with a little development and I live in hope that the developers rethink what these could be.

Sole fitness app. Just bought an R92 Sole Recumbent bike. App works fine with Bluetooth connect. I had similar problems mentioned in other reviews but they disappeared when, after I had connected to my Ipad, I pressed the "stop" button on the R92 console. It's screen changed to "connected" and the dashboard reappeared on my IPad. Everything worked perfectly including saving a record of my workout.

Basically useless. Please make this app useable or remove it. I fully understand the 1 star reviews. Too bad you can't do zero stars. I'm unable to get past the first intial step of user profile.

Disconnects and loses workout data often. I bought an E95 elliptical hoping to get Bluetooth connectivity and integration with my Apple watch series 3. I could accept that the app only replicated the Sole console on the iPhone XR without using the heart rate calculation from the Apple Watch for calories, but the constant Bluetooth disconnections and resulting loss of data make this app (almost) useless. Hopefully, future revisions will improve this app such that it can show the Heart Rate from the watch directly in the Sole Fitness App without having to look at my watch.

Absolutely useless!. Wont save profile data at all, I add my info and it’s just forgotten when you press save. Also can’t keep connection to F80 treadmill for more than 30seconds which makes this app completely pointless.

Average Watts is not updating. The App is alright except the average watts are not updating correctly when I end my workout on the Sole R92 Exercise Bike. ie. I could be averaging 282 watts for the whole hour and at the end of the workout it says Avg Watts - 7. Also would love metrics like Max RPM, Max Watts, Max BPM, ETC.

Useless app. Well it connects with the R92. But don’t trust any of the data it provides you. And when Sole says it connects with Apple Health or Fitbit THEY ARE FLAT OUT LYING on their website. It does nothing of the kind. Use this app to start an exercise routine. That’s all. The developer should be absolutely ashamed for releasing this excuse for an integrated application. Having said that. The exercise equipment itself is first rate. Pity it is let down by this PoS.

Profile info won’t save. When I try to save my profile in the app, it won’t let me enter a password and won’t save my details. Why have the app then? I use it so it’s faster for me to get started working out. It’s a nuisance having to go through entering my weight, etc every time. Please fix this.

Not able to register as user. I downloaded the Sole Fitness App but not able to register myself as user. I have bought Sole F85 to enjoy the Bluetooth faculty, which is through App only. I am disappointed. Please advise on this

Doesn’t sync with HealthKit, no app support. After months of having to manually sync with HealthKit it finally starting “working” when I installed Strava. Lasted two workouts, then stopped syncing altogether. Now I can only “post” to Strava which appears as a message with no data whatsoever. The data does not appear in HealthKit either. Looked on Sole’s website but all the support links are for mechanical, ordering, etc - no mention of the app.

Useless. Why go through all the trouble of developing this app if all it does is set up your workout and act as a mirror to he treadmills display? I mean, you have all the data from the exercise session in the app and you don’t even share it with the health app, or give the user any options to share this information with the various health and fitness tracking apps. As a former software developer, I’m completely at a loss for the logic behind this insane decision that completely neutered this app from actually being useful.

Incorrect level recorded for User 1 and 2. I reported this a couple of times and it still has not been corrected. The level set in the user profile was 7 and level 6 was recorded in the app. This app requires more work. Expensive exercise equipment spoiled by poor app programming

Garbage. Other than being able to program my machine it does nothing it says it can do. I still can’t sync with my Fitbit and I just randomly lost 5 months of data. I bought this machine for some of these capabilities. Very disappointed.

Disappointing app. For as great as the treadmill is, the app sucks. Cant do heart rate workouts from the app, even though it says you can and even though the heart rate monitor works in manual mode. As soon as you try do a heart rate workout it says to please connect chest strap, even if it is already synched. It drops it. If this could be fixed, the app would be good enough for what I need it for. Please fix. I'd love to be able to have the treadmill speed up/slow down based on hr.

Iwatch. Doesn’t support iwatch!!!!!

How did Apple even authorize this to be here??. Just got my E35 today. Love it. Thank god they are not in the app business. Couldn’t even register. It doesn’t accept November as a birthday month, it asks for lbs on a gender field, once I entered all info it asked for it again and even though I was ready to have at it a second time it just gave me a blank page.

Fix your App. Kinda ridiculous you have incredible fitness equipment yet this app is horrible, please fix it, I spent a lot of money on my F65 treadmill, I’d like to be able to use its features

Has never worked properly.... Have had this app for over a year and it has never worked properly with the E98 elliptical. Problems include Bluetooth connectivity issues, loss of training data, and inability to recall personal settings. Just when it looks like one issue is fixed, the next update messes it up once more. This is what one can expect when an R&D department has a $50.00 annual budget.

Absolute Garbage!. The app will sync to my treadmill but that’s about it... This app will NOT share data with HealthKit or Fitbit or anything- there are no icons or options to do so! When I click the share button (box with up arrow), I see the Facebook & Twitter icons & a More icon. More is nothing but sharing a screenshot from your phone (or iPad) of your workout & sending/saving to a folder, Dropbox, Messages, email, etc. I download this app on my iPad too, but same as my phone, I only see Facebook & Twitter - I do not see what the screenshot shows for this app description for iPad. Compete garbage & useless app as many others have stated! Apparently devs have no desire to fix it either..

Useless app. Cannot sync data from iPhone to iPad or vice versa. Your workout is only recorded on the device you used. iPhone version is horizontal display only. You can’t set a desired speed from the app for your treadmill, the default is 5 mph maximum for all programs and you have to change it manually on the equipment. Basically, it is a fancy way to start the treadmill, and even then you have to use the machine buttons to actually start the machine. 0 stars, I will be deleting the app. I gave it 1 star only because you must give a rating in order to send the review.

Improved. It used to fail to connect to my F80. Now it has no such problem. I love the fact that it has Apple HealthKit integration. However I would I like to see this app write my Burned Calories in to HealthKit and even more information rather than just workout minutes.

Useless app. Waste so much time try to connect my e95s elliptical. Useless information display No syn workout data I give zero stars I don’t get why company waste time to produce useless apps I can not send as zero star, so you see 1 star

Application inutile. Exactement la meme chose que sur mon appareil fitness... sa sert absolument a rien cette app. Ils essai de nous vendre un appareil plus cher du a cette app mais elle est vraiment inutile

Needs a lot of work. First things first - App does not allow you to run in portrait mode. We are forced to use it in landscape at all times. This is not convenient at all. Next I have connectivity issues with my F85 treadmill. It will initially connect but as I am browsing through the app menus the “Disconnected” message appears forcing me to frequently reconnect to my Bluetooth session. You also don’t have the option to stream your music to your treadmill. Would have been nice to add that feature but it appears the Bluetooth connections are only good for syncing workouts and your training sessions. I see potential but this definitely needs work! Fitness hardware - top notch - app for the hardware = not so much.

Garbage is being polite. I just want to smash every device that I use to log onto the elliptical, then I breath and realize it’s the GARBAGE app not my devices. So sad to have to deal with this crap every time I work out.

Useless. Just got the treadmill... excited to use the app with my F85. Doesn’t connect for more then a second. Totally disappointed. Deleted the app already!

Disconnects And Crashes. With my Sole F85 treadmill and iPhone XS the Bluetooth drops and the app crashes immediately when trying to use. Very frustrating.

Data lost. I was logged into the app in my old phone and everything was “saved”. When I got my new phone I was already logged in but none of the data was there. What’s the point of logging in if the information isn’t saved and can’t be used on a different device?

Missing functions, no app support. My app is missing the upload icon on the calendar which is supposed to be how you connect to Fitbit. App support link just takes you to a website with no contact info. Over $2k for a treadmill and simple functionality doesn’t work.

Horrible. I wish I never bought a Sole. One of the biggest reasons I chose this treadmill was the app integration. The app doesn’t work at all. At first it let me log workouts but wouldn’t export the info to my other apps. I deleted and redownloaded it and now I can’t even log in. Gah!!!!!

Don’t bother. I agree with the others, this app is totally useless.. It freezes up every time I get on it. I haven’t even been able to fully enter my information.. Not only does the app freeze but I can’t even close the app to get out of it!! Don’t bother 👎🏻

Junk, Junk , Junk. This app is junk I wish I can give it no star . It crashes after a few second and will not sync with the Sole F63 . Don’t waste your time downloading this app at all .

Worse app ever. It’s really unbelievable how you would spend any money developing this app. It’s just awful totally glitchy, freezes up, not intuitive and leaves the user with no other benefit than what the machine already provides. Spend some money and have some experts do something which would mean leaving whoever developed or for you.

Waste of time.... Don’t even bother with this app. It provides no functionality over and above that which is provided by the treadmill - other than a very rudimentary and incredibly hard to use log feature - and it does not integrate with other apps (e.g. Garmin Connect) despite the manufacturers claims...

Useless. Must power down the F63 to get the bluetooth to connect each time. Then must disconnect Bluetooth to use any treadmill panel program functions. Love the Sole treadmill mechanically, but the Sole software and this app are useless. Run in manual mode mostly without the app.

Cannot even get registered. App will not register my information, logged in as ‘guest’ and saw some of the issues the other reviewers have mentioned. Will not be using the app in future. Just got the F63 set up yesterday and took first run today, all seemed okay, hoping the machine is built better than their app.

Bluetooth seemed like a gimmick in retrospect. This is sad. I bought this machine about a year ago and was impressed it had Bluetooth connectivity. However it really is not functional. I originally thought “ok, well it will get better with time” but it hasn’t. What is strange is they seem to make updates to the app but really no major updates.

Does not work. This app is supposed to send my workout data to Apple Health and there is no option for it. One is the reasons I bought this treadmill was for that very function. May have to return it if this can’t get resolved.

No issues with elliptical. I have no issues with this app connecting or staying connected to my Sole E35 elliptical. The only thing I noticed is the MET data is way off.

Awful. I really want to say that it has the basic features I need, but this app doesn't cut it. I would like to run then sync the stats to my phone. That's all. However this app requires you to only run for the pre-programmed time you selected. At this point the only hope it that they open source it and allow someone else to build on it.

How do I give less than 1 star?. Assembled new Sole F80 treadmill today. The treadmill works fine....but this review is about their APP. Horrible! Seems like something from a middle school IT hobby club. Very unprofessional design. For the life of me I can’t get it to synch with my Fitbit. Horrible app.

E25 elliptical. It looks like it would have great functions if it worked. The app does not see my new BT enabled elliptical. I know the BT on the machine is good because I can connect to my phone and listen to music via the BT speakers on the machine. I verified my BT was on and I was well within 15 ft of the machine per instructions. Please look into this as it would be fantastic to be able to actually use this app.

Trouble shooting. I just downloaded this app to use with my treadmill at home. When creating the account, the app won’t let you put in the correct birthdate instead it lets you pick the current date only . Please fix it Thank you

Horrible app. Can’t even give it a star. What a joke. Make a new app to connect and track workouts with Sole exercise equipment. HORRIBLE, completely worthless, should make people think twice before buying Sole equipment.

Useless. 126 one star reviews can’t be wrong. Make that 127. This app will not work for me. Just tried to contact customer support and the link took me to their webpage where it had stuff for sale and no customer support.

Privacy issues. I didn’t have high hopes given the other reviews, but figured I would give it a shot. Until the app for my treadmill asked for access to location services. So you want to know where I keep my treadmill and where I go any time I have my phone with me? No reason for it. I am appalled you would even ask.

Weak. While I really enjoy our Sole E55, he support App is pretty weak. Does not provide a lot of options, ability to customize programs well, and seems to have errors in data provided. I believe, as in many cases, the App is a 3rd party provider.

Read the terms before you hit accept.. “The effectiveness of the terms and conditions is governed by the relevant laws of the Republic of China. In the event of any dispute in connection with the terms and conditions, both the Company and the user agree that Taiwan Changhua District Court shall be the jurisdictional court of the first instance.” Only got that far. Now deleting the app.

What’s The Purpose?. I guess I really don’t understand the purpose of this app? How does it benefit the user as opposed to using the physical dashboard on the treadmill itself? The app is far too cumbersome (when it actually works) and offers far fewer features than what you have on the dashboard right in front of you. I’m at a loss...

Very glitchy and unintuitive interface and function. The interface is hard to figure out how to navigate. Basically just the same information as the machine’s display on your phone. Connects to Apple health but only logs time of workout in my experience which isn’t very useful. Should log all metrics like speed, distance, incline, calories.

Beware - Identity theft risk. There is something fraudulent happening with this app. They will do a hard pull on your credit without your authorization. Do not download this app under any circumstances.

Horrible. Bluetooth Never connects and send inaccurate information..it locates every piece of Bluetooth equipment you have except for workout equipment.. totally useless and waste of time beyond frustrating deserves zero stars

Fraudulent Claims. On their official website and in the manual Sole claims that they have Fitbit and iHealth syncing capabilities. This is a blatant lie. There is no way to forward the data to these other apps. This is one of the main reasons I chose to buy their E35 elliptical. It’s outrageous and fraudulent. Fix your app or stop making false claims.

Worst app ever. This app is horrible. I bought this stupid treadmill over the others ONLY because of the supposed integration with Apple Health. It doesn’t give me the ability to write to Health App as it says it will. I follow the instructions to share with Apple Health and the option doesn’t display. Only works in landscape mode. Horrible UI, Horrible UX, Horrible ALTOGETHER

Horrible. This is the worst app ever. It doesn’t capture your workout half the time, doesn’t sync with blue Roth the other half. Doesn’t sync with any other app. It’s totally useless. Honestly they should just delete it instead of pretending it works. If I could give it zero stars I would.

This app serves little purpose and has a poor interface. This app poorly connects to the treadmill and there is no visible option to export the data or sync it to other systems like Apple Health. The interface is pretty terrible and clunky. I don't actually see the purpose of this app.

Lacking some table stakes functionality. I can synchronize to my f80 with no problem. Data sharing with Apple health kit exists but it is very manual and doesn’t share all the data you’d expect it to (like calories burned). This feels rather lazy. Very bare bones app, which is a disappointing contrast to the excellent treadmill.

Export feature disappeared. Looks good, but fails to offer what is promised. Would be better if I could also turn off the equipment display, but that is not an app ability. Without export and with equipment display on, this app has no meaning.

Useless. It get disconnected all the time. To have it useful i should be able to tap on one of many users, see my workout history, adjust and customize the workout so the next time the treadmill recognize me and my workout. Hope this will help

Misleading. The display in the store indicated that your workout would pair with the Apple health app. This is not so. Treadmill will not sync with app. Additionally, the Bluetooth function connects to the built in speakers but they are the worse. Don’t buy this brand or model get something else. Very disappointed in this purchase.

What A Terrible App. One of the reasons I was persuaded to the F63 treadmill was for the purpose of Bluetooth connectivity and the fact an app was available. The app is a total waste of time. The fact it only opens in horizontal view is ridiculous. It is not easy to follow and I cannot even connect to Apple health to track my workouts. Highly disappointed. Zero stars.

Not even close. Will not talk to Apple Health, so for me pretty much useless addition to my new SOLE f-63 treadmill. Last year I bought Schwinn recumbent bike and Schwinn’s app is easy to use and talks to Apple Health. Too bad Schwinn app doesn’t talk to Sole treadmill. I like f-63 treadmill, hate the app. Tried it and deleted it the same day! Don’t waste your time, app is worthless!

App still doesn’t save user profile. I updated the app to the latest ver (which was supposed to fix the user data not being saved), updated my iPad to the latest version and it still doesn’t save user profile. Thus the app is junk! Let me know if you ever fix or replace the app.

Don’t bother. This is literally the worst app ever created. It’s horrible. It adds zero value to anything and can only bring frustration by messing with your controls and not recording half of what you do. I gave it a fair shot for nearly a month but I’m deleting now. Useless.

Update deleted historical data. Was very disappointed to see that all of my workout history was deleted by new update. Also agree with other users that if workout is manually paused, entire workout deleted without saving. App design 101?

App/bluetooth connection terrible. Love my F80 treadmill, but very disappointed with the app and blue tooth connection. I have to keep the Sole app open in order for it to track my session. And half the time the blue tooth does not show up on the treadmill. Also it will not connect or merge my data from my Sole to my other app’s including apple health app or MyFitness App. Please fix, loving the treadmill, hating the app!!

I agree, useless. The app basically will only display what’s on the console in front of you. So, what advantage does the app provide? It claims to sync with other fitness apps but, as you can see by countless other reviews, it does not. If I had to pay for the app I would sue for false advertising.

Horrible, doesn’t work. One of the worst apps I have ever used. App syncs with treadmill but then I can’t modify the workout speed or incline, treadmill doesn’t respond to app or manual input and just freezes. Complete garbage, I am going to return the treadmill...this lack of functionality could have slid by in the early 2000’s but not now

Horrible app. Curious. Do any of the devs who wrote this actually use it? It’s not possible because this app doesn’t stay connected to anything to actually work. I’ll connect it to my E35 (which I love) hit sync and nothing. Back to the beginning. Choose device, sync nothing. Fail.

Worthless. At one point I could actually sign in, record my exercise and have it save to my iPhone. Now I can’t even sign in. I have tried everything from resetting password, to trying as a guest and starting all new. Nothing works and if I can’t even log in, then the app is useless.

Sole App. App continues to be dysfunctional as other reviewers are stating. All of a sudden all my workouts are gone, none saved in the app! Does not sync to MapMyFitness as advertised. No way to delete Workouts? Or I haven’t found it yet. Difficult to use.

Why can’t this just work?. All I want it to do is transfer data from the treadmill to my phone. The ONE time it sort of worked it only transferred the time of workout, no distance or anything else. I don’t even know why the treadmill has Bluetooth if you can’t make this work.

App is terrible. I bought a Sole elliptical, partially because it advertises to have an app that will sync to Fitbit. This was false advertising. The app doesn’t show any display settings. It does not sync to anything. The interface is generally terrible. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Problem app unusable. I cannot use this app with my Sole elliptical because it continuously changes the level setting on the elliptical. I confirmed that by deleting the app. After the app was gone the problem was gone. Save yourself some trouble and don’t use this app

Get a new app for the sole treadmill. I’ve had my sole F80 treadmill for over a year and I’ve never been able to use this app with it. Every time I connect the app to the treadmill with Bluetooth it connects and then disconnects. I know it’s not my treadmill because my iPhone will connect to it fine. Fix this app or just delete it!!!

Mileage in history is wrong. After you’re done with a session on the E55, the mileage shown in the history is 10x more that what it shows on the screen when your session ended. Simple programming error, move the decimal point!

Can’t register account. I try to register but no matter how many times I hit the done button it doesn’t work
