Barometer Plus - Altimeter App Description & Overview

What is barometer plus - altimeter app? Barometer Plus app measures air pressure and altitude using your device's built-in barometric pressure sensor.
Because air pressure changes usually indicate a weather change, you can use this app to monitor and predict short-term weather variations.
People suffering from migraine, headaches, or joint pain can monitor how barometric pressure impacts their mood.
Fishermen can monitor the atmospheric pressure for right-time fishing.

FEATURES:
• The app contains a barometer and altimeter with a personalization graphic in classic analog style. It also displays the current temperature and humidity.
• Display barometric pressure (sensor value) or mean sea level pressure (MSLP - value used in weather forecast services or stations).
• Units support for pressure: mb, inHg, kPa, atm, Torr, psi, hPa, mmHg. Units for altitude: meter, feet.
• Calibrate the barometer using altitude/location from the GPS. Calibrate the altimeter using the nearest airport information/METAR, or manually enter the QNH of the nearest airport. Offset sensor output value.
• Measure the height (building/mountain/hiked/climbed) using the "Relative Altitude" feature (can be enabled in the app's Settings).
• Notification about pressure change. "Notification custom rule" for you to define how and when the app sends notifications.
Notify when air pressure changes indicate that extreme or worse weather may occur.
• "Pressure Tracking" and "History Graph" require "Background App Refresh" or "Always Location Service" with "Exact update interval" (paid feature) enabled.
• "My Area" allows you to define your frequent stay places, and the app tracks air pressure with location data.
• Export history to CSV format and Today widget (paid features).
• This app is the digital version compared with an aneroid or mercury barometer and can be adjusted to MSLP with additional features.

CUSTOMIZABLE:
You can change your barometer/altimeter appearance with:
• Seven different housing colors.
• Black, white or blue disk background.
• Four different app backgrounds.
• Three different types of needles.
• Marker needle for easily monitor.
• Dark or light Today widget theme.

NOTES:
• App only works on devices with a barometer sensor, such as iPhone 6/6s/7/8/X/11/12/13 (including Plus models), iPad Mini 4/Air 2/Pro, or later.
• Weather icons on the dial: This only shows the air pressure trend like in an analog barometer.
• Each time your device reboots, open the app for tracking with the "Exact update interval" feature work.
• You may take the phone/tablet far away from computers, cables, and other magnetic sources to get accurate results.

Gives me a heads up as pain levels increase. I love the app. It helps be aware when barometric pressure will affect my “remanufactured” joints.” Please considered a custom tone to go with notifications, also choice of a longer notification — maybe six or eight hours. Great work.

Satisfying. Using the pressures for fish feeding times so far working as aspected.

Accuracy. Not accurate at all!

Data export to CSV could be easier to manipulate. Two issues could be improved. 1. Time and date could be separated by commas for easier manipulation in Excel. Ordering first to last would also be nice. 2. If you turn off acquisition (by closing the app) for a while then on resumption, the built in chart continues in even steps without a any gap or large step and does not strictly plot against an X-axis of time. Once imported to Excel, the difference is clear.

Aweful App Too Many Ads. Absolute garbage money grubbing app it shows way too many unskippable ads. avoid this app at all costs

STOP SHOWING ADDS!!. I have paid for this app in the past as I use it for work, just so I don’t have to deal with adds… now it constantly interrupts me during pump tests with adds and I am almost ready to uninstall it

Suggestion. A lot of people claim that their joints ache or levels of chronic pain and fatigue are affected by barometric pressure. So, I got this ap to start keeping track. It works fine, I guess, I know nothing about barometric pressure. I sure would like to see this or a new ap include a way of tracking pain levels w barometric changes. I’m currently using a note pad on my phon to keep records of barometer readings and pain, which works fine, but thinking it might be really great to have an ap that tells me when I might expect to feel like crap, or to at least remind me that the reason I am waking up, feeling like crap is due to atmospheric changes and not because I’m falling apart.

So. Many. Ads.. The ads eat up your data and your time.

Don't appreciate the porn included with this app. I just deleted the app from my device after noticing nude photos of women at the bottom of the screen recently. Disgusting!

Confusing. I was very disappointed that not only couldn’t I get the app to work but when I opened it I kept getting annoying ads.

Beware of rated X ads. I was showing the current pressure amount and an pictures in an add showed rated X photos. Private parts and all. I can’t believe they would show such ads. So beware of this app and don’t let your kids use this app!!

Options. Options Needs more options with out upgrades.

Review. Decent app .

Accurate. Like it, difference is minimal compared Apple weather

It's OK. Nice graphic when you first open it, but it oversimplifies the concept of barometric pressure's impact on weather. Whether it's raining or not has more to do with the trend rather than the actual barometric pressure value. Just because barometric pressure is low doesn't mean it is raining. The timeframe options for the graphics are silly because they only change how far back you can look at barometric pressure data. The graphs should compress the data selected into the same size graphic, one that fits on the screen.

Using for Tracking Arthritic Pain. My mom has severe arthritis and I downloaded this app to try to get a handle on her pain fluctuations. One thing I really like about this app is that readings are shown on a scale from high to low pressure. I don’t know anything about reading barometric pressure so this scale is really informative ( highs and lows). I’ve used other apps before and I like this one much better because it gives you some context.

Only for pilots. If you just want a Barometer, this is not for you. The user interface wastes space on altitude, which is a visual that never changes and remains constant if you don't go up in airplanes. The user interface is meh. In particular, the history graph is pretty much unreadable - filling the slow change of barometric pressure underneath the graph with blue makes what could be seen easily if it were just a line, hard to read.

Good intentions. This app seems to work well enough for what it does. As previously stated, it seems to be a bit off, but your iPhone isn’t a barometer, so as long as you have the offset corrections set it’s good enough. My problem lies in the background app refresh. What I really want to see from this app is the graph of past barometer data so I can track migraines. Unfortunately, for this to work, I have a flashing blue bar across the top of my phone screen constantly that says “Barometer Plus is Actively Using Your Location”, even though it should only be updating every hour. The flashing blue bar is enough to make me close the app, rendering the pressure history useless. The developer response solution is not an option as “never” and “while using the app” are the only options regarding location

It stops tracking. Normally its fine, but it randomly stops tracking. For some reason it has nothing recorded all this week. What a pain, in the midst of national arctic snowstorms!

Barometer performance. Last week I suddenly got fed up about not seeing the actual barometric gauge that I remember from my youth. This one serves my purposes perfectly. I just wanted the facts. Nothing fancy. After reading the other reviewers comments about headaches, arthritis, etc. I became enlightened with the value of having a barometer in your life. So glad I found this entertaining app that gives me “just the facts”.

Nosey App. The app is now demanding I turn on the “fitness” portion of my phone. I don’t want that crud on- it’s no one’s business if I leave the phone on the counter or carry it around.

Barometer. Love the app I just wish it would show if the pressure is going to be going up or down

Useful. This is a useful app. I use it to track my asthma and blood pressure. I like the Graph that you have but I would like to see you change this to where it’s more of a line graph and not all filled in at the bottom so that it can be printed and not waste lotta ink. I would like to print it and hand it to my doctor on a monthly basis along with my blood pressure readings that would be my suggestion for improving it.

Doesn’t Work For Me. I was cleaning up my App Library when I noticed Barometer Plus sitting there. I had totally forgotten about it because since I downloaded and configured it a while ago, I don’t recall ever getting a notification of a pressure drop or increase set to my parameters, and all I see when I try to view the graph is a single plot point. It’s a shame because I have a condition that is affected by changes in barometric pressure, and this is exactly the type of tool that could help. I’m running the paid version on iOS 16. Here’s hoping the developer squashes this bug, I would really love to try this app out at its full potential.

Awesome. Easy to use and very concise. I can’t recommend it enough!

Too many add. Every time I look at something different in the app I get an add. I am going to dump it. An add here and there fine but this is constant!!

Why do I see ads now?. I just upgraded my iPhone from an X to a new 15. When I open Barometer Plus on my new iPhone I see ads, I do not see ads on my X when looking side by side. Thoughts?

AWESOME!!!. I use it for Turkey hunting!!!

Get to know it. As a professional avalanche forecaster snd fly fishing guide, I’m constantly watching the weather. I got this app as a quick reference to monitor pressure trends. After learning about all it can do, I’ve discovered it’s a powerful app. Exporting pressure data into spreadsheets and graphing is super helpful. It’s easy to read and looks great on the iPad. I’d recommend studying up barometric pressure then revisit this app and take some time to get to know it. As far as accuracy, I’ve compared it with actual NWS surface pressure charts along with other instruments. When set properly, it’s as accurate as any other instruments I check and use, including my pocket altimeter. Great app!

Helps me manage my vertigo!. The barometer plus helps me to track barometric pressure changes to prepare for possible bad vertigo days with adjusting medications and diet restrictions. The only thing I would change is making the dates at the bottom the little bigger to make them readable without my reader glasses!

But this app. I made a bad review, stating that app didn’t work. It was MY fault. I was using an app that cleared out the history each time it ran. To the developer, I am sorry for my previous review. BUY THIS APP!

Pain Forecast. With 2 forms of arthritis and roving pain I started noticing the pain level changes with the weather...i finally figured out it’s tied to the barometric pressure. 30+ seems to be the point of less pain…while the farther below 30 it gets the greater the pain. This app has let me track my pain levels to help me with pain management.

Works ok, but better apps available to track barometric pressure for headaches, etc.. There are better apps track barometric pressure for headaches, etc. this tracks current relative barometric pressure, whereas apps like WeatherX track upcoming changes in pressure. If you want to track when you need to prepare for a shift, download something like WeatherX. If you want to track current pressure, this app is sufficient. I also note that the two apps do not show the same pressure. Hard to know which is more accurate.

History Graph. The history graph records the wrong readings when the barometer is not on completely open to the front of the list of things you have open. Other then that I truly love the app.

Helpful with health. I am super sensitive to changes in pressure. This really helps me track why my breathing and mood are off in the mountains. I like how it tracks the history and charts it. I am also a weather nut so this gives me some great insight as I track forecasts.

So helpful. I get migraines due to the pressure changes. I have confirmed this with this app and another that I use to log them. Now I have data to take to the doctor - I am not crazy! What a relief. Lol. I paid for the full features today so I can save the data etc to show him! I definitely would recommend this app.

Mrs Diane Wright. I didn’t order plus and l don’t want it.

Testing this out. The past couple weeks in my area we’ve had major changes in the weather with a couple tornado warnings here and there, & maybe it’s just a coincidence, but each time there was a tornado warning I would experience severe dizziness and shaking followed by a major head and body ache, so I’m using this app to track the barometric pressure & trying to see if when it hits a certain low, if that’s when I get my “episodes” for lack of a better term. Hoping to figure my condition out a little bit with this app.

Absolutely worth purchasing the Platinum Edition. As a sufferer of frequent migraines, I was desperate for a good app after the one I’d been using went kaput. I tried several apps and finally settled on Barometer Plus after reading the User Guide and personalizing the settings to meet my needs. Right now it logs the barometric pressure hourly—to avoid draining the battery AND keep a record I can review—plus it’s set to notify me when the pressure changes rapidly. If you want/need an app with lots of customization options, I’d definitely recommend spending the $2.99 for the Platinum Edition so you can really tailor the app to suit your needs… just be sure to read the User Guide!

Tornados. I’ve noticed on the app it shows symbols like storm clouds etc... but the most important that it doesn’t have is a symbol of a tornado!!! Most people don’t understand on how to read the pressure drops so I think it is a great app but to help people to understand that they are in immediate Danger of a Tornado then a Tornado Symbol needs to be added accordingly at the right pressure number indicator.....

LOVE this app!. I’ve been looking for a reliable barometer where I could track the changes. All other weather apps I have only gave me the pressure for that one moment, and I certainly do not have time to chart all the changes. For people who get pressure related migraines or other types of headaches due to pressure changes, having this information readily available from the graph is extremely helpful! Now I can track when the headaches occur, and will be able to help predict and prevent them in the future. Thank you to the developer for this well thought-out wonderful app!

Fitness tracker enable. I loved this app until it tells me I have to have fitness tracker on for it to work like it did before. I will likely delete the App soon if I can’t find a workaround. Maybe it was from updating IOS as well and it’s on their end. However, I don’t dig it. AT ALL!!!

Lowered my rating. Aside from my first evaluation being that the weather icons are the opposite of what is actually accurate, the developers reply I got was wordy and poorly written. The developer didn’t seem to understand my point. When the barometric pressure is above 30 it’s more likely cloudy or poorer weather and when it’s below 30 it’s less pressure so it’s generally fair weather. It’s not at all what it shows on the screen. Also it sounds like the info they get is based off the local airport (for my location) even though it’s a good hour from where I’m actually at. I’m going to delete it and defiantly don’t recommend.

Excellent app, despite poor documentation. It has ads. It's difficult to understand some of the features... But it does exactly what it needs to do. Nothing fancy or distracting, Well done. PS. I really REALLY wish I could contact someone to clarify some features:

Basic. Barometric pressure with some other data. If that’s what you need, it does the job.

Too small for easy viewing. All of the text is too small for easy viewing, especially the altimeter, and there is no setting to adjust this. It is totally unusable if you were wanting the data with a quick glance, or if you were wanting to follow the changes as you are driving. The data is so tiny I have to really squint and still can’t make out all of the numbers, and there isn’t even a way to zoom in, so I am stuck with the tiny text. We need a way to enlarge the text, or an option to just choose a digital display with larger text (without the gauge image). Also, it would be nice to be able to switch the main gauge view between altimeter and barometer, instead of always having the barometer on top. I cannot rate the function of the app, since it is unusable due to the tiny interface text. So while I wish I could give more stars, I cannot fairly do so with the text view making the app mostly unusable for me.

Apple 12. Works great

To bad it. To bad the advertising became so aggressive to the point it was very hard to turn off to see the reading of the barometer. I tried to watch the advertising to see if it would help but another ad would start again and not able to delete it. I realize some advertising is needed to help support the app but ad after ad was just to much. This ruined the good to poor experience of the app itself. Sorry to say I decided to delete it and use another app. Thanks

Iphone 13 plus max. For any one who knows how to use this and knows what is and how it was put together to be flexible, convenient and Howard looking, it's a diamond in the rough . Just rt, and what we need. Thanks goodness 👌🏽🙏🏼

Very important app!!. I have an illness that gets worse with barometric changes. When it gets low, it gets really bad. Flying is hard because of the low cabin pressure. I able to watch it and prepare for the drops. I used it on the plane and it showed what I was feeling. It totally verified what I’ve been saying for years. I’m sharing this app with friends who suffer from my illness. All I can say is THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

Thanks. On time all the time good service

Altitude. Thanks for such a great little app! Works fine and has helped solve a couple of friendly issues

Good barometer. Clear and easy to read, all I need. Thanks.

Barometer app. Good app, except for the times it throws up unwanted ads.

Accurate and easy. This one does the job and works well with good accuracy

Barometer plus. Can’t use it too many adds what a waste of time don’t waste yours

No. Installed. Barraged with add. Deleted. Don’t bother.

Excellent Barometer App. Easy to use and accurate. I like the adjustable needle to mark the Barometric data and then you can see if it went up or down.

Easy to use. My old one fell off the wall and broke Hey this one works and is the real deal why bother with the old stuff

Great app simple to use and gives accurate results. Highly recommended accurate and easy to read well done to developers thanks Les C

Rubbish app. Got pillaged by adds immediately to the point where app functionality was basically non existent. Highly do not recommend

Good app. Shows all I want

MickH. The barometer continually reads in the 930-960hPa range. As there are no cyclones current and the weather report states current barometer is 1025hPa I’m not sure that this app is at all useful.

Watson. Have not had this for long and have checked the info from other sources, and can recommend this app.

Not accurate in my area. Showing 1009 but the official weather bureau are saying it’s 1021. Weekend said 1011 but bureau saying 1029. Not happy, and I paid to remove ads… unfortunately.

Good barometer app. This is a good barometer app with a nice simple interface - FEATURE REQUEST - I’d love to have the ability to get notified when the barometer hits certain levels. It’d be great if I could configure the app to send a screen notification when the barometer hits 1020 hPa. Adding that functionality would turn this app from a good app to a GREAT app as none of the barometer apps I’ve looked at have this feature. This is something I’d be prepared to pay for. It would be excellent for fishing.

Parramatta and fishing. Thanks for this I like to look at it before fishing. Give me an idea what is going on

Simple and accurate. This is a simple app for its intended use and the best I have found. Most others I’ve tried have shown incorrect data. This one does not.

Not compatible iOS 10 on iPads. Barometer sensors no longer recognised by all barometer apps on iPads with baro sensors please fix.Life depends on it!!

Barometer plus. This is quite a good app

Barometer. Works well, very handy .

Genuinely useful. My wife gets headaches brought on by changes to barometric pressure. Didn’t believe it at first but it’s true. Your app is the best. Thanks.

Good app just wished all features worked. Me and my father have the app. He has a older phone and his history graph works. Shows all the information. I have uninstalled the app, closed and reopened the app. The history graph only shows a single blue dot. Kinda frustrating.

In-app Purchases NOT for Family Members!!!. In-app purchases cannot be used for family members makes the app a big ripoff and is not in compliance with Apple’s policies and is nothing but a cash grab! Do NOT purchase!!!

Barometer plus. Love that even works without data

Excellent. I use this app to help me identify what's causing a sinus headache, usually the high or low-pressure systems are the culprit and having a easy to read lay out helps.

Baromètre. Fonctionne très bien

Très bien. Fait la job !

Bad bug. If location services not on goes into loop and can't close app. Bad design

Not sure. I somehow thought it would help explain the weather system better. It really only tells me the weather now, no forecast

Barometer. A free app that does exactly what it is intended for.

Review. App works great. Very accurate. Well done developers!

Does not work well. I am not able to get any history graphs. Just a single dot no matter how many days history option/selection I look at. Recently, this app does not update anymore; it stops half way through the update and remains frozen. Not good.

Merci!!!. Je l’utilise plusieurs fois par jour ! Bravo 👏

Great for migraine sufferers. I get migraines frequently and most of the time they are related to pressure changes in my area. The history graph and notification settings allow me to predict upcoming drastic changes and plan accordingly (take preventative measures etc). Definitely worth the cost! Thank you!

Barometer. Fun to use to predict weather. Accurately follows 2 aneroid barometers.

Great barometer. Gives you a good idea of pressure patterns very critical to monitoring Wether.

Bobby. Works great. Fairly accurate.

Works fine, iOS new privacy stuff was blocking it.. Kinks have been worked out.

History data. Wish there was a way to get history before we got the app. As a comparison it would be nice

Barometer. Great little app

Horrible Adware. Full screen, musical ads. Deleted this app immediately. Didn't even have enough time to look through all the settings, too bad.

Great functionality, UX is wanting. Great functionality, even in the free version. The barometer display and user interface would both benefit from a design update. I use it in remote areas where there is no internet so I haven’t noticed the ads on the free version.

Mystery of air pressure. This is a really good app and a whole lot cheaper than buying one! Love watching the pressure increases and decreases and associated weather. 2 improvements, the marker needle is a little funky setting it is reversed, you move your finger to right it goes left so I would have the needle follow finger movement an graphing is great to observe trends and patterns I would include different graphing options, bar, line etc. Otherwise great app and fascinating!

Voila!. Simple, minime,écoénergique( piles) 97.9 % a sa précision .. fort probable les réseaux et regions Conseil fait vos mise à jour et tout sera scoobydoobedo 😉😁

Great app!. I suggest you to give an option to change the scale in the graphic screen, like zoom in.

It works. Simple interface to read barometric pressure. Pointer needle on the dial face. Graphing ability shows trends. Reads pressure accurately when compared to nearby airport reporting. Ads are mildly intrusive but hey, it’s otherwise free to use. I like it.

Accurate, simple and cheap. What more could you want? Does exactly as expected and just a couple of bucks to upgrade to ad free.

Meter. Made. Great app, easy to use, well thought out

Too many ads. I’m all for developers making money and I’ll happily pay for a good app. The sheer tidal wave of ad volume on this app makes it unusable unless you buy the full version. Kinda hard to get a feel for if I want it when all you see is ads. Sorry. Moved on you something else.

Inaccurate. Inaccurate. Not able to set reference.

Duh. If no internet, then i'm told i don't have a barometric sensor. Otherwise, no error message. Does this make sense? Not that useful when travelling!

Fun app. Like the altitude sensor as well, the wife watched it as we drove down the road, dropped 50m to the end of the street! (Approx 160ft) that’s why we have studded tires in the winter! Nice to set the reference and see how fast pressure is changing, and how fast.

Could be better..... Zoom and graph is terrible. Doesnt update in the background so I have to open it all the time. Almost good but not quite.

Reasonably accurate app. This app does everything it claims. The graph and data functions come in handy for tracking the variables in air pressure. The gauge is easy to read and understand in all measures (such as KPA ). The inches function correlates with the Government of Canada Weather website www.weather.gc.ca making it relatively simple to cross check the weather reports.

Source of Comfort. Working on a contract in the remote community of Nain, Labrador, NL Canada, I find the barometer lessens the isolation. A comforting tool that allows me to keep a close eye on the weather, and it’s all at my fingertips.

NAUI1. Love it, straight forward and it works as advertised! like the ability to change up the displays.

Love this app. What’s great about this app is that you can fine tune it in order to get the most accurate readings. I’ve used different weather apps and info from a nearby major airport to set it up and also had to fine tune the ASL and it’s now very accurate.

Baromètre. Facile pour l’ajustement de l’altitude Je l’utilise régulièrement

Great. Works perfect

Annoying ads. Unsolicited ads pop up constantly making it difficult to use or enjoy an otherwise good app

Mr Rain. Seems to work well no issues so far

Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!

It is FREE. The app is free and gives me the information I need. What more can ask for.

Excellent. Exceeded my expectations. Check it several times daily. Especially appreciate the History, and History Graph. Keep up the great work.

Was great. What happened about 6 months ago?. The round face gives a reading. Then I used to switch to the graph set for past 30 days. It was all fine until about six months ago. Now all I get it what looks like 2-3 days graphic which is pointless to me. I’m going to find another app since this is now useless.

Does not work out in the boonies. I am 9 miles from a small local airport and 50 miles from an international airport. Every time I open the app I am told I am too far from an airport to have accurate readings.

Snap shot.. A quick and easy reference for current temperature, and barometric pressure which I previously never paid attention to. Elevation reading great when driving tru mountains or Salton Sea…

Finally a barometer that works!. Pleased thus far. the cloud locations on the dial face are very broad. @ 29.8 trending down means rain. Would suggest the next clockwise cloud from the 11 o’clock cloud indicate rain. Custom design features are nice! Would recommend this app!

Keeps a historical log of barometric changes. Since I suffer from migraines and have felt there is likely a weather cause to my particular migraine episodes, I bought this app to keep track of wide swings in barometric pressure changes. This app does this job well and we shall see if weather changes parallel my migraines.

Low pressure Lover🤪. Being a nutty lover of fog, humidity, low pressure and just plain cloudy stormy weather, I absolutely LOVE your app! Once I see I’ve got my kind of weather, I know I can get right out the door and go somewhere and enjoy!😆

Works good wish it worked with the Apple Watch. I like the graphs and the indicators that show what the weather could be out side. Now if only it worked with the Apple Watch. That would be amazing.

Way off. Doesn’t work at all. It was over 300 units off on a consistent basis, and it seems that the feature to correct that error is a premium feature. I need a reliable barometer to track my migraines and this isn’t it. I do appreciate all of the free customization options.

I use to help predict my migraines. I noticed that I often get migraines in the winter when we have storms come through in Norther California. This has been a great tool for me to check the barometric pressure, looking for big dips which can trigger my migraines.

Love it. It’s amazing. It would be most better if it can be calibrated based in an external source to increase the accuracy of the pressure sensor.

Apple Watch compatibility. Great app and have been using to calibrate oxygen sensors in Lake Titicaca Bolivia at an elevation of 3800m. I do wish it supported Apple Watch as it would make it a complete solution.

Barely a meter reader. Unless your checking it every 15 minutes to an hour of every day you won't get an accurate if at all idea of the change in pressure. I have migraines based off of the pressure change and this doesn't do anything to actually see the change. Rather, "here's the pressure is it lower or higher than yesterday who knows."

Setting change. Previously rated this app low bc I didn’t think it was working. Change one of the settings and seems to be fine now. Sorry for the user error! 😉

Thank you for fixing an issue for graphs.. I love the graphs thanks for fixing the issue

The best. Love it, I get headaches on a reg. Basic and this helps me understand why I believe! I am just beginning to look into why and it’s opening new doors for my recovery.🙏👍🏻

Excellent and Accurate. Very clear and concise information. Quickly see what you need without a bunch of distractions.

My weather search has ended!. This App is the perfect, functioning help for me! I’m outdoors quite a bit and it’s great to have this app’s help in predicting the weather. My search has ended for a great weather assistant!

Nice graphics and results. I use this app to track pressure changes for info for fishing. SUGGESTION to users, if you want a degree of accuracy correlate app results to local weather to determine if “offset” is necessary. My phone wasn’t too accurate BUT after offset entry it has been spot on!

Not reliable. Unfortunately this app is no longer accurate. I have another app that is. I compare them to the national weather service for accuracy.

Broken?. I used to use this app constantly due to migraines and joint pain but ever since I moved to iPhone14 it won’t track or keep the correct readings. I’ve purchase the full version and it still doesn’t work correctly. I wish the developer would fix because this was the best way to track fluctuation and predict my pain levels.

Barometer app. I downloaded 3 different barometer apps to test them out and this one reads different from the other 2 constantly so really I don’t know which ones are right but since the other 2 read the same I’m just gonna go with this one is wrong

Accurate. Checked against known data for my area, this app is surprisingly accurate.

Enjoying Barometer Plus. If you enjoy tracking changes in the atmosphere on your time, you are going to like this app.

Good app. It’s a good app. However, the settings doesn’t have an option to calibrate it. The iPhone internal barometer is about 0.3 to 0.5 mmHg off when it’s compared with a NIST barometer. Therefore, a calibration option will make the app more precise.

Good app. I tried several barometer apps to track the pressure and like this one the best as it sends notifications. It’s nice to know when the pressure is low ahead of bad weather. I get migraines and neck pain from even a slight drop.

Great app!. My wife suffers from headaches when the weather changes. This app helps us know what she might expect as conditions change. I find it accurate and very useful if you like to know weather data.

Incredible app, very useful and accurate for my work!!. I climb cell phone towers for a living so on aplite this is a must for checking on the weather in the area and moving into the area. Always accurate and this app has never failed me!!

Pretty good. Just wish it had future tracks because I like to use this to bass fish.

So far, so good. Humidity is important to me, especially with a record of past barometric activity. This app does what super-expensive weather recorders do, at an app price. A few instructions would help, but generally a great product that suits my needs at a surprisingly low price.

No forecast. Maybe I’m missing it but I was looking for a website that shows the present barometric pressure and also the forecast (maybe 5 days advance). This website just shows the present.

GREAT. I bought this expecting it to be ok but it actually works amazingly. After doing some set up in the settings it worked so well. Helped me out a bunch.

Graph opp. I've only had this app for a short time and it seems to be accurate. I like the graph that shows the reading in the last 12 hours or by the one or two days.

Doesn’t track all the time. Every time when I travel to another state it stops tracking. Can that be switching airplane mode off and on? Why doesn’t the app resume the tracking after the phone is back on?

Inconsistent. Once it is calibrated for a given pressure, it will be accurate for that pressure. If barometric pressure changes, the readings are no longer even close to being accurate. I like the appearance, it it’s unfortunate that I can’t get accurate readings. I’ve tried on different devices. I have different apps that are much more consistent and accurate.

Excellent tool for migraine trigger. Drops in barometric pressure trigger migraines for me. So this app is great for tracking that. I like the history function for giving me a good snapshot of where the pressure ( and my migraines) has been.

Great app for fishermen. I love this app and use it regularly to plan my fishing but I wish it also indicated if the pressure was steady, rising or falling as well.

Billy S. Works great for what I use it for setting up a total station doing layout

Great app. This app delivers more than what I expected or wanted. The only area that has a problem is the lower dial, where the indicator shows altitude. While the text below shows 194 feet above sea level ( confirmed by another app “Altitude “) the indicator is in the area of -120 feet.

Saved my marriage!!!. Fantastic. Everything you could want. I use it in my daily weather report.

Ads Are Here!. I've had this app for years without any complaint, until today. Today is when they put ads in this app. If you click the history icon, that's where you'll see the ads. Boooooo!

Great tool. As accurate as the barometer on the wall. I also like the history feature for fishing.

Needs Work. When first opened it seems to be accurate, but when refreshed it seems to be low. It has a lot of potential to be very helpful for folk with prosthetics as pressure changes can be an indication of oncoming pain, so I really hope he sticks with it.

Works fine. The barometer plus is consistently accurate with my field barometer and relatively accurate with altitude. This barometer app is just that, a barometer on your phone, so don’t go overly scientific in its application. For serious mountaineering a dedicated barometer/altimeter is the safest option, however, the barometer plus app does the job especially offline.

Needs some work. Still showing reading for last december???

Easy to use. Simple, direct, powerful. I love the graph showing history.

Review. My paid version on this app does not work as well as a different free app because you can not set the marker easily. You should be able to set it by pressing a button so it would match current pressure so you could observe future change.

So so. From the description, I thought I was going to be able to see pressure trends over time, but it only seems to record a measurement when you open the app. This makes it much less valuable than I had hoped. I had anticipated it would take a r adding once every couple of hours or other user imposed time setting. Alas that is not the case.

Poor Trending. The trend always defaults back to a 12 hour span. Even when selecting a longer period it will still only show 12 hours until you expand the view. Also, the reference needle on the meter is very hard to move.
