Endeavor. I downloaded this app about a month or so ago and I was going through a rough patch at the moment and had needed a pick-me up of some sorts and I had gone to my App Store and randomly decided to look for motivation here. Upon downloading this app I had seen a quote at the start of the app and immediately videos. As I watched and listened to the first one I was so pulled into what the man was saying that I had started this new revolution in my head. Since then I have signed on with the Navy and am training for SEAL. I've worked out countlessly and ran with an amazing speech and music in my ears. I love this app and recommend it to anyone that would care to have a fire ignite in themselves to do something greater. "The only easy day was yesterday." ~ Unknown.

Perfect for my morning commute. I needed some help to get my days right. There are days when you need someone to lift you up and help you get going, and listening to these videos have helped me do that. I signed up for the premium subscription and it’s definitely one of the best monthly investments I’ve made.

Priceless. Priceless, but I was frustrated that they didn’t have a monthly option (but rather force you pay to $100 up front for a yearly membership). I think it’s ridiculous that they don’t have a monthly payment option for lower. But this type of stuff is priceless in my book. Great app guys. Thanks

This is great!. This app caused me to actually follow through with my New Years goal of actually putting away all of my laundry after washing and drying, and that is a simple thing that I’ve wanted to get myself to do for a long time now, as silly as that might seem. But if it motivates me to do something as simple as this, what else can I be motivated to do? Study harder? Work harder to get a promotion? I’m really happy with this app so far, and I only gave 4 stars because I really wish there was more customization for people who decide to pay monthly for this app. It unlocks all the videos but I wish I could get notifications more than once a day for a motivation video or something like that. Otherwise this is a wonderful app and I would highly recommend to anyone going through rough times.

Mainly for dudes with dollars. This app is essentially useless unless you buy the pro version at a staggering one time payment of $96 instead of a more manageable $8 per month. Lots of content. Almost none of it accessible. The second star is for the refreshing multiracial inclusion. It also has a decidedly masculine vibe. The coloring is in blacks, dark blues and earth tones, and the photos are mainly of men. If you dig deeper, there are a few subcategories for the ladies. Under Lifestyle, you can find “Powerful Women,” and inside Fitness you can discover “Girl Power.” (cringe) If you’re a dude, you’re going to LOVE this app.

Have to be Pro. I loved this app for the random quotes I’d get but if I was given a quote and went to click on it, (to share with someone or just to see the full quote instead of viewing in my notifications) I get “Unlock this quote by getting Pro” or something along those lines. Why provide quotes that I’m not privy too and just not provide the “free” quotes? Smh. Deleted the app and going to try another app that has free options that I can actually view and not try to push “pro” quotes that I can’t use.

Bad business model. You are not a freemium app. There is no free content at all. And please don’t reply: “There’s free content on the discovery tab...bla bla bla” only 5 super short videos are not free content. It is better to say from the beginning that you are a paid or subscription base app and you’ll get less downloads but higher conversion rates. Or if you want to A/B test its fine but stop replying that you hace free content on the discovery tab because that’s a joke. I love the content you curate you just have to rethink the business model. I’ve been using the app since the first version so this review is to try to really help you.

Outstanding!. This is a perfect example of a necessary tool. Everyday we are surrounded by the-less-than-positive and while we cannot often change that we CAN dilute the noise pollution. If we are going to pay attention to what we put into our stomachs, then we ought to pay attention to what we allow into our ears. This app delivers the positive. It helps us remember that we all are created for excellence. It is an A+ tool to have at our disposal.

Timely support and well worth the money!!. I used to go to gym 6x a week and even ran to the gym there and home after my work out. I did this for years and if not that I was always working hard to keep my health up. Anyway life happened and a couple traumatic experiences later left me over weight, hopeless, depressed and overall unhappy. When I looked in the mirror I was lost and unrecognizable at least to myself. Anyway recently I made that choice to wake up and move. And music wasn’t doing it for me anymore. I needed words of substance not emptiness. I mean some music is inspiring but I needed something more, I needed accountability and inspiration from people I could relate to. So I tried this app. I gave it a shot and ended up purchasing it because it works. Sometimes I can’t believe that I got through a run. This app has helped me to overcome what was holding me back. Additionally I had issues with it not working recently and the support is excellent. Within 24 hours I received support and a solution to my fix. I had to delete the app and reinstall as they recommended. Well worth the motivation and growth to come. Thank you!

App constantly glitches!. My app continues to not work.. it seems everytime I connect to a new WiFi, it disconnects my profile. It constantly is wanting me to pay the $95 a year subscription again! It’s really frustrating too because there’s not like an “account” so I have to try to find where the settings are and they are under favorites. Which constantly I have to “restore purchases” and it doesn’t always connect to the iTunes Store. Plus I noticed I wanted to share the items I’m seeing that are motivational and everyone I share them with it requires them to pay too. I’ve searched for things and have been limited by the results. I also noticed that a lot of the videos have professional actor clips in them, so I have to wonder if their library is that vast. I’m sure those professional actor videos came with royalties and I’d like some videos who are from professional speakers, not just actors in Hollywood.

About the app. I’ve had the app for awhile now and I must say it has helped me get to the grind. I have one issue but it isn’t a do or die. I believe the premium version shouldn’t be a feature as people are trying to make their lives better with motivation to do so. However, the premium only represents the want of money from the developers and like my self, I’m sure there are plenty of people that want to change their lives, not pay for another subscription that reminds them of their past. Other than that,I have no other complaints. I believe the speakers on this app are the best there are.

Just keep in your phone. Even if you don’t get to it everyday. The days you do get to it, it gives you everything you need to assess your priorities, your goals, hold yourself accountable to each of them, and create new goals and new priorities. On Sundays it gives you the best of the week and you can star the ones you love and listen to them again and again.

Very good, but I wish for a few more features. I have only had this app for about a week, but have worked it into my daily routine already and am thrilled to have found it. If I could add features I would add two. First, the ability to pick a video and set it as an alarm clock. Second, I would love to see more videos featuring female speakers. I just think I might be able to relate a little better seeing that I’m female myself.

Beautifully designed app. Consistently impressed with the content and range of topics - albeit all motivating and inspiring. Love the fact that most are under 5 min but some go to 30+. More often than not I shed a tear - or 40. Lol. But the ‘good tears’ if there’s such a thing. The interface is super clean, gorgeous, easy to operate, and most importantly does EXACTLY what it claims to do - get you going w your day or help you in your time of need. A must download for EVERYONE at ANY STAGE of life. Keeps you uplifted when you’re up - lifts you there when you’re not.

Sick of how you’re feeling?. Then download this app. 5 daily motivation videos with different themes that will help inspire and create a better you one day at a time. Think you don’t need this? You’re already good enough? Then you’re already failing. We can always be better. Always. Listen people, they are giving you a free tool to become a better person. Even if the videos sound silly, keep listening. Soon enough the videos words will eradicate that inner voice in your head stopping you from being the best!

Great but not personal. This app is premium with all the profesional design behind it - the music, UI, inspirational videos, the fine tune features. However, it does not let you make your own personal motivations and there is where it falls short. If that changed that this app would truly deserve 5 stars.

Motivation. I’m so impressed by this app. This truly helped myself and I know can always be useful for others to listen to while driving to work or on a lunch break. This is something you can share with family, friends or co-workers that suffer in silence and it sure can help so much just 4-5 mins a day to listen and watch the compilations of music/videos and short stories or quotes to get MOTIVATED and help MOTIVATE others with this app. Thanks so much for the time to write a review on the best app I have to get me through my days.

You need this!!. I downloaded this app about 2 months ago and I absolutely love it💕 This is honestly the best app I’ve ever downloaded. Awesome App but stopped working today. I’ve got a one year paid subscription and it was working great until yesterday. It’s no longer opening on my iPhone. I’ve deleted it several times and re-downloaded it and the app isn’t opening at all. I use this app daily and I’d like for the developers to assist with this problem.

Everyday motivation #1 app!!. I throw on my Headphones full blast and phase out to these videos. So powerful! Makes you want to reach for more! Life isn't about finding yourself, it's about creating yourself. I recommend this to everyone and encourage you to really live in the moment. Forget about everything negative, focus, and get your mind right!

So much for the free version…. I loved these quotes…read them each morning and often shared them with my teenage boys and husband. And then they stopped. I can see them daily on my Today View but if I click the quote to see it in the app, the screen is black. The icon bar appears at the bottom. I don’t really care about the music and video content, just the quotes. Click that icon and the quotes icon, screen stay black. If I click the star to see my favorites, it gives me three of them and says to subscribe to see the rest of them. I totally get paying for content in apps and think your price point is fine based on the amount of music/video content you offer but I’m not looking for all of that. I wanted the basics which according to the item description offers me hundreds of quotes. But my only access to them is a widget on my phone screen - can’t save them or mark them as a favorite to come back to. Again, cool with having a paid version but some transparency in what you get (or don’t) with the free version is warranted.

More effective than anxiety meds. Never thought I would say those words or rate an app. This is a great one. There are days when I’m suffocating with anxiety, overwhelmed with life & just get stuck. These videos change my mindset & always lift my spirits. I listen to some of them over & over. Highly recommend.

Wow!. I've never actually written a review for an app before, so it says something that this is my first. I got this app when I felt very unmotivated and frustrated at my lack of motivation and I'm very glad I did. The daily videos are great for pumping you up and reminding you that you can get through what you're going through. Would recommend for anyone who ever feels incapable for any reason. Excellent app!

Potentially Life Changing. I love this app. It really gets me fired up for a morning workout. Having motivating videos curated each day takes away all the hassle and time of finding them yourself, they're already at your fingertips. Additionally, you can save the ones that speak to you the most and watch them when you really need it. Can't thank you guys enough for this app!

Is your rhetoric guy home sick today?. I have thoroughly enjoyed Motivate. The videos are so impactful that I’ve started watching the daily videos first thing every day. However, two videos were posted today (“Sink or Swim” and “Loving over Loneliness”...not certain that second title is correct) that I can only describe as disappointing. Amidst a body of motivational videos, the language of the two mentioned above is shaming and closed-minded. It is not motivational, much less correct, to insist that the only “cure” for loneliness is God. There is nothing inspiring or helpful about telling someone in an abusive relationship, whether it’s their first or hundredth, that they asked for it. Motivate works when the videos avoid sweeping generalizations...any language, really, that could ostracize part of your audience.

Good videos, but some language. I listened to some good videos until one came up with pretty strong language, which was definitely not expected seeing as the app is rated for 12+. I had to hurry and shut it off so that everyone else in my house wouldn’t have to hear it all. I like the app and the idea, but unfortunately had to delete it for that reason. If I hear that they screen the videos or make a setting for only videos with clean language, I will download it again.

Please don’t stop. Messaging, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, email...Category: Apps people use everyday. Wait. There’s another that SHOULD be on this list! Motivate! With an interface that allows you to absorb the messages through audio and video, you can get a thought-provoking lift during a break at work or, put your favorite on replay as you prepare to slay your own personal dragon. Great app!

Did you Guys change this app??. They use to give you 5 free videos a day, not it all says pro??? Is this new or an error. I just shared this app with a close friend who’s been through a lot and I bragged about it so heavy because it had the video that were free. Now we can’t find this option anymore?

The End to Depression. My mom gave this to me while I was feeling self conscious about my eating and my weight, I thought that this was just one of those things where it tells you to make friends and sit in a circle and share feelings. But it isn't that, it gives great motivational speeches, reasons to push yourself, that there is indeed light at the end of the tunnel, that your life does have purpose.

A Cheap Prozac. I downloaded this app 2 weeks ago to see if it could help in anyway. I have been job hunting for 2 months with no offers, stay at home mom who’s cabin fever depression is taking over, and broke as a joke it’s sickening. I started listening to it while showering and it really pumped me up to do more than wallow in my misery. I started working out every morning and still continuing to look for jobs with enthusiasm rather than pessimism. I’m more positive and try to reach out to my family members to better themselves. This app is truly worth it and I’m so thankful it’s free in the App Store!

Absolutely Phenomenal. I literally wish every single person had this app. This is EXACTLY the kind of motivation every person needs in their life. It’s a perfect way to start my day. I love that I can save the videos and add them to my favorites and even more so lock my iPhone so I can listen while I workout without having to keep the app up!!!!! LOVE IT.

Doesn’t work 50% of the time. Doesn’t work 50% of the time, I have a paid membership and when I try to open something it wants me to sign up for a membership plan. They’re so focused on getting money they can’t bother to correct the script to allow someone who is paying to see their content. Rebooting doesn’t work. It’s obviously a server/script problem. If it doesn’t get corrected soon I’m cancelling. I am so thankful I didn’t sign up for the year membership!

App is nice , content okay. I don’t get those who complain about the app costing money. This is someone’s business and that’s how the world works if it was a socialist society with everything free no one would need a motivational video, they would just be okay not been motivated as long as they can live with the same luxuries as those motivated. However I believe it is irrational for this to cost almost what Netflix costs, I assume that if you charged $20 per year you would be making much more money. The design of the app is nice and organized , really well done. I don’t feel that just having a narrator screaming commands makes a video motivational. Insights and ways to view things differently or stories of people who succeeded after challenges are motivating. There few very good videos others are just people screaming commands in a tone that at times sounds even angry. I accidentally upgraded as my screen was open on the upgrade screen and somehow my iPhone allowed the purchase so I allowed my self the month as a trial , if I google for a motivational video I am more likely to find what I like (and waste time finding it) I just discovered the music section , is a small selection of good motivational music tracks.

Amazing app with a great purpose. This app truly is amazing and I recommend it to everyone. The price point is very steep however... hopefully it’ll come down a bit but for anyone who is looking for some motivation delivered on a great platform in a very well designed app, this is great for you. Also the customer service is definitely on point!

Love this app, it will change your day!. I’ve never taken the time to write a review on anything ever but this is app is so good I felt obligated. I watch these videos every morning as I eat cereal and drive to work and they are fantastic. They are both motivating and intriguing and get me in the right mindset to attack my day. Quality Content Aggregator. I enjoy the quality of motivational content this app collects for me. I open it up each day and there are 3-4 new, high production quality videos ready for me to watch. I usually watch one and then move on to personal development audio, but that one video from this app helps kick start my drive and ambition for the day.

Was Once A Great App. I’ve had this app downloaded for at least two years now, and absolutely loved it when I first started using it. Back then, all of the content was completely free. I ended up getting through my rough patch and stopped using it for a while. Fast forward to this morning, when I decided to start using it again, and I was outraged to see that nearly every video is now behind a paywall of $99/yr to watch. No announcement. And after reading many of the other reviews here, the developer responses have been very canned, always beating around the bush and never directly answering why the 5 videos a day are now all Motivate Pro. After two years, it’s time to clean it off my phone.

Seriously Amazing app!!!!. I am forever grateful to the creaters of this app! It’s changed my life, really , sometimes all you need is motivation and this app not only motivates me but its help me stay fearless through some of the most challenging times I’ve experienced yet in my life. Apps are not free. This app is very powerful and very motivational. The only problem I have with this app is that you have to pay to watch the videos. I just got the app and I really needed this and wanted this but I was very disappointed when I saw that you had to pay. It would be really nice if you put the videos for free because i would like to see them and not have to pay for them. I’m very upset about this but I hope you would change that for people like me who don’t want to pay. But I know the videos are good and I really want to watch them!

Wonderful!!. This is just really a great app! I've been quietly wanting something just like this to pop up into my life! And now here it is and it's perfect! The Daily Videos may seem short you at first, but you will quickly come to appreciate the fact that you won't have to sift through so much stuff beforehand. Was awesome until it became greedy. Great app until they started charging!. I loved all the videos on this app and is great at getting me motivated. However, now they charge $120 for the year to watch any of the videos. I understand needing to charge something but $120 is quite excessive. Or you can pay $15/month for 5 videos a day. I pay the same for Spotify and its ALL the music i could want and includes a lot of the same stuff i can get on Motivate. You've lost my vote Motivate...

No freemium. I think paid apps is fine but they make it seem like you’ll get 5 free videos each day - but you don’t. All the videos they send me are “pro” videos which means you have to pay. Unless you pay you can’t see anything. Use to be one of my fave apps

Can’t pay for pro. I really like the idea of this app and all but you have to upgrade for that, meaning you will have to pay. I can’t pay cause I don’t have enough money for this. I’m a person who goes through a lot of stuff and this app Is definitely something I should be looking at, but I can’t do that unless you guys put more videos out that are not pro

Best mentors. I learn more from these super accomplished people then I do from being in class. I feel like I can accomplish anything after a 30 minute session. I also noticed when I'm running in the gym I usually go longer when these awesome clips are playing.

Changes. It used to be great. It had all the free videos available upfront, and the option to watch pro videos. Now I have to search for the free videos and there aren’t many of them anymore.

Great App!!!. This is a great app and my everyday motivation. I love listening to it everyday when driving to work and going back home! It's great to have. I wish I can find it on Google Play as I'll be changing to the new galaxy S9 but it appears it's only on iPhone. Thanks. Will miss it when I switch to Samsung.

Was my favorite App. I absolutely love this app listened to it daily, shared it with a ton of people until I had to replace my iPhone. I had software issues so I could not restore from a backup...downloaded my favorite app only to find out it would cost me 100 bucks to get back the love. Bummed. The app is worth 20 bucks which would make it one of the most expensive apps I’ve ever purchased. 100 bucks is crazy.

Awesome. Great app and a great idea, can't wait to see it explode in the App Store. It delivers motivation to you, which is really useful for those early morning grinds, or those days when life seems to keep beating you to the ground.

Great Start to Morning. Awesome App love to watch and listen to these videos to start my day off right. Only thing I’d like, is if we possibly could get a shuffle button for our saved favorite videos . That’d be Great !!! But even so still love it .

Annoyances that should be fixed. Good but needs to be able to copy text of quotes and the app is slow to load no matter how good internet service is. You cannot set the time the app sends you quotes only the frequency which is annoying as they come at random time throughout the day.

Misleading Free App. This app only has free videos the first day you download it. I opened it on day 2 to listen to something when I first woke up and everything is now tagged a “Pro” and I have to pay to watch. All the free apps I’ve come across have a watered down version for free, but this basically just gives you a one day sample and then pressures you to spend $99 for a year. If you have that kind of money I’m sure this app it ok?

GREAT APP!. Everyday has new videos. Each very different and equally as motivating. Strong messages by strong individuals, love hearing what each has to say. This app has been one of the best discoveries. You won’t be disappointed! Love it! And highly recommend it!

Inspiration. When you strive for greatness and sometimes feel you are alone in the struggle. These videos remind you that you are not alone. And everything can be pushed thru for you to strive for greatness.

Not opening. I loved the quotes on this app but all of a sudden it won’t open. I try to open the app but it kicks me out. I can’t find anyone who would be able to help me. Otherwise it’s good

Amazing. I truly am impacted with these videos. I honestly do not like to rate things and take the time to write about it. However, this app is probably my top best app I have in my phone. This app is amazing. I start using this app 3 days ago and I love it. I was at my lowest of the low and my brother sent me this app to download and I started listen to a few videos and my spirit/soul felt great. This app and motivation videos really keep me moving . I love it !

WIDGETS NEED WORK. The widget feature used to be AWESOME. It gave the quote on the main page. Now it only advertises the videos that you can only click on if you are a member. As a broke college student, I enjoyed using this app through the quotes but cannot pay for these videos PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD WIDGETS!!! 🙏🏽

Excellent app. I needed something to motivate me. Something to get going in the morning. I downloaded this app and listen to it everyday. Sometimes I’ll watch the videos, I mainly use it to hear the message. This will definitely get you thinking about raising yourself to a higher level.

More Features. What I would like to see for paying subscribers is to have the ability to save and download the full video as an option to just sharing a link to the video. The motivate watermark can be imbedded into the video itself.

Changed my life. I’m feeding on this app, from the moment I wake up, in the car, on my walks, it’s reprogramming negative thoughts and helping me overcome depression, anxiety, procrastination and self doubt. This app is a gift.

First thing every morning. Just started using this app and find it a great way to start the day. Play the video of the day when I wake up and by the time I’m walking out the door I feel awake and ready to kick the days A##.

The app is not working any more. I can’t open the since one week now ! What’s wrong and why it’s not fixed up to now !! We paid one year subscription ?

Free Daily Motivational Videos are No Longer. I really love the idea of this app, I was looking forward to watching my daily videos but now it looks like they are all PRO. I can use another app for quotes, it’s the high quality videos that was a deciding factor. I reached out to support but no response. We should at least get 1 video free everyday that would entice me to go PRO.

Amazing thus far, will only get better!. Who is putting this work together? Seriously impactful, meaningful, genuine and authentic! Great app! What happened to free videos?. I love this app! I’ve recommended it to some family members but when they downloaded it, they didn’t have access to the 5 free videos a day. I haven’t paid for pro either but I still get the videos, probably because I downloaded it a few months back when that was still free. Please change it back

Would give it a 5 ⭐️ if.... I love this app! I know that some of the videos are played again, so if you don’t “favorite” a video, you still may be able to see it again (if you consistently check in). To rate this app a full 5, I would like to see an option to go back a day or two to see previous videos.

Quotes?. I love love love this app. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to see the quotes that show up in my notifications. Or am I missing where the quotes are in the app? It be awesome if the app had a tab or section with just the quotes.

Motivational. I love it! It’s inspiring in a time when you don’t hear enough positivity. The world always feels so bleak and doomed but it renews hope and gives you a new found sense of life and perseverance.

App crashes. The app has been crashing since the latest updates have been installed. I reached out to support but no one has gotten in touch with me.

Love it!. I’ve been feeling like I’m not as happy as I want to be. But I couldn’t find it in myself to get my energy up to do the work I need to to add more things in my life that spark my inward happiness. This app, is helping me to the work I need to do! I already feel happier again. Thank you!

If you want to be inspired get this App.. This App will do what it says. It will motivate you on a daily basis. Open the App each day and you will get short videos to motivate you throughout the day. Some of the videos at times will repeat but it worth having on your phone.

From Hero to Zero. I have had Motivate for more than a year. At some point, Motivate went from a completely free app that helped motivate people daily to now charging viewers to watch their Premium content, which is the majority of the videos posted. I understand it takes money to keep a company running. Although, to add another subscription to someone else’s already overwhelming life seems less like motivation and more like corruption.

BEWARE! MOTIVATION WILL HIT YOU HARD!. I have had the hardest time getting motivated to wake up at 5 am to workout. I wake up now with a notification of new videos and they wake me straight up. These videos remind me of the strength we have inside and they kick me into high gear! I recommend this app to everyone and anyone!

Keeps turning on. I like the app, but for some reason, even when completely closed and swiped off, the app will pop up on my lock screen and doesn’t go away. It actually keeps my phone ON. The lock screen doesn’t shut down as I should after a few seconds when an alert pops up. It’s killing my battery. I’m going to reset my phone and reinstall the app to see if that helps.

Frustrating. I understand that companies have to find a way to make money and thrive. Here’s my beef. I love the app however I had the app downloaded when it was free. You got 5 videos a day for free and could get access to others well not anymore. The material is wonderful but I would like the old version where some content was free.

No new motivation. I was super pumped about the app. On a car ride into work one day a friend had it playing she hyped it up told me about the pro options but said the five videos that you get each more are well worth it. To my surprise I’ve only had access to the same 5 videos. When you open the app and it say hold on while we’re getting today’s videos I always hope it’s a new one but it’s alway the same five.

Winner’s Circle. Every morning I wake up to this app. Every time I’m about to go to work, or the gym, I hop on this app. It inspires me to be better, a better version of myself. It reminds me, that I am exactly who I dream to be, as long as I push through. Thank you for the motivation of a lifetime.

Love it, love it, love it!. I love this app!! Very inspiring and motivating, I listen to it almost daily! Was sad to find out that now you have to subscribe to watch videos, I can’t even access the ones I liked months ago without the subscription and as a college student, money can be tight so I can’t commit to paying every month for it.

Good content, too expensive. Downloaded to app to be motivated but disappointed when I found out that you have to pay in order to access any content. Give an option to pay to gain access but there is basically nothing you can access for free.

This app has become a part of my life. I can’t say enough great things about this app. I listen to (not watch) the videos while I drive to work and it’s just what I need to get my mind in the right place. Everyone wonders how I come in on monday and everyday already in beast mode. This app is how.
